Bedroom Alarm Clock - sony alarm clock radio, alarm clock

I bought two of these, (one for my husband and one for my teenage son), since they would automatically reset themselves after a power outage. They both immediately complained that the alarms were not loud enough, (both are VERY heavy sleepers). It does have a very light and polite beep with no volume control. However, the beeps gradually increase in frequency and after week of use, both of them are waking up easily to the sound and without the jarring blasts from our old alarms.

So, it may require getting accustomed to for heavy sleepers, but it's great for those of us who don't like to be blasted awake every day. Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (White)

When our old alarm went out I had to find a new alarm quickly. When I found the Sony ICF-C318, I was just happy to discover it had no external antennae to deal with. What a bonus to find that not only was it small and inexpensive, but had no funky extra wires. It has two alarms & the time and date are automatically set! All I did is plug it in. The date was automatically correct. And if there's a power surge or power outage, it has a battery back-up (battery is included and already installed) and it loses no time. We didn't believe that, of course, and had to play with it by unplugging it a few times to test it, but it worked great! We didn't even have to re-set the time zone. Also, I usually had to re-set the alarm for my husband, but no longer. I set the A alarm for me and the B alarm for him and we are done. What I also found wonderful about this alarm was that when you set the alarm time, you can go backward or forward. Our old alarm could only go forward and it took forever; setting this alarm is a breeze. Amazing, truly.

Two alarm feature very easy to program. All functions work great. Battery backup and automatic time updates. I bought a more expensive Sony multi-alarm clock a few months ago and it works OK, but this clock is by far a better and less complicated unit.

This is a good clock radio for its size, and all the features are easy to use. If you are looking for quality sound, this is not the clock radio for you. The only problem we have with it is that the buttons to turn the alarms on are on the top of the radio and easily moved - so easy that our cats often turn on the alarms by walking across the top of the radio!

I wanted a simple clock radio to replace my simple Sony clock radio, which unfortunately got "fried" during a lightning storm. This model seemed like the logical substitute, and it does exactly what I want it to, with no complications. Even though I don't live in the US, it gives me accurate time after power outages (its internal battery works great) and everything is easy to set, with time controls that go up or down -- meaning that if you miss the time when setting it, there's no need to do the whole 24-hour rotation again. Brightness can be controled so that this clock never wakes you up unless it is supposed to. I've had no problems with the alarm volume or any other aspect of this product. It is a great bargain, with a low price and great quality.

I recently bought this to replace one that always lost the time if there was a power outage. Even new backup batteries did not help.

Pros: Small, nice radio reception, time is already set, keeps time in case of power outage

Cons: You have to re-activate the alarm daily after turning it off in the morning. Not a good thing!

Setting the alarm with the button on the side requires two hands.

Overall not a bad alarm clock though (if you remember to activate the alarm again :) ).

Don't be mislead: "automatic time set" doesn't mean that it uses the atomic clock to update the time. "Automatic time set" means they preset the time at the factory. The clock arrived with a time that differed seven minutes from the actual time (as displayed on an existing atomic clock), so you still need to set the clock and to periodically readjust the time.

The first clock I received came on each night at 4:59AM with beeps no matter the setting. Amazon immediately (next day)sent a replacement clock and a prepaid return mail tag for the defective unit(Quite easy to deal with them). The second unit did exactly the same thing. Amazon sent a second prepaid mailing tag and credited my account.

Besides the clock having some flaw, what bothers me is the "Auto Time Set" feature, the company advertises. I was under the impression "auto set" would set the time using the atomic clock bases in Boulder Colorado. Yes,it comes correctly preset from the factory, but if the time needs to be reset, you do so as you would any other clock; nothing "Auto" about it. The radio tuning is not digital and not easy to get precisely on a station; reminds me of the FM radios if 30 years ago. The display is OK; brightness settings are good. The dual alarm are fairly easy to use. The users manual is a bit complicated, but not really needed for most features. Not recommended until the flaw is fixed. - Sony Alarm Clock Radio - Bedroom Alarm Clock - Alarm Clock - Clock Radio'

Sun Tea Suntea Spigot - creative ware, drinkware

Purchased 4 and used them for an event for about 125 people. Used them outside on a very warm day. No leaks - worked great. I anticipated that the ice in the bottom bowl would not keeps the drinks cool enough to suit me - so I inserted tall vases in the container and filled this with ice and lemons. Filled with lemonade and tea just below the rim of the vase. Between the ice in the bottom and the ice inserted in the vases - the drinks were plenty cool throughout several hours. (and also were not watered down by indirectly introducing the ice).

Highly recommend this product. Creativeware 3-Gallon Unbreakable Beverage Dispenser

I have two of these and used them at an open house. Everyone loved them and wanted to know where I got them. They hold 3 gallons and was more than enought for the 100+ people at the open house. They are easy to put together and clean. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who entertains.

This is the ONLY water dispenser we have purchased in the past month that does not leak - we have bought from another vendor on Amazon - which was BAD - and they still have not replyed to us (Web Infusions - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!)... have also bought one from Costo, and Wisteria - that leaked - you are the ONLY dispenser we will order again .. Bravo to Target!

We used these for my son's 1st b-day party. I purchased it because they did not look like the normal square beverage dispenser and because they had no writing of "lemonade" or anything on them.

It is beautiful and looks expensive. The concept of putting the ice in a separate container at the bottom is genious- keeps the drinks very cold without watering it down. We had drinks out for about 4 hours +.

My suggestion is that you put a very tiny drip plate under the spout just "in case" it starts to drip.

It beautifully displayed my lemonade and iced tea. I know it will look wonderful with any color drink that is in it.

Everyone asked me where I purchased them from. It was a hit.

We frequently have friends come over and the ability to have beverages within easy reach for adults and kids alike is very nice.

I own 2 of these. If you entertain people like we do 10 to 20 at a time, this dispenser will save you a lot of time and hassle.

Thew only thing I would warn about is ensuring that you get the gasket around the dispensing spout put on correctly or you can have a little leakage problem.

I look forward to purchasing the third beverage dispenser.

In the picture they look clear. But they are like a cheap flimsly milk-white not clear plastic..kind of pliable. We had gotten the same "design" from Sams Club and though they look identical they are very different material. We have been trying to reach the company for days to return. They don't return calls and they are not available during the hours they say they are open. Do not order from this company.

I bought this item to serve our family iced tea during my daughter's baptism party. Everything was going great until an hour into the party when the dispenser started to leak. Thankfully I had something big enough to put under it to prevent it from continuing to drip all over my kitchen floor. I would not recommend this item based on the fact that it leaks. - Ice Tea - Lemonade - Creative Ware - Drinkware'

Side-cutting - side-cutting pliers, klein tools

Talk to an electrician and you will often find that they are partial to a particular brand of lineman's pliers. Some swear by Klein, others by Channellock or Knipex etc. I am not a professional electrician but have rewired my entire house, performed work on several others and wired an addition. I have also done a fair amount of electrical work under an electrician for various jobs. My first set of pliers I lost, so when I needed a new one I decided to use the same brand I had before but figured I'd try the journeyman 2000 series with the enhanced grips this time. They are comfortable and cut wire nicely. I almost never use them to cut anything but copper wire. Sure I have cut a few nails on occasion but I have a different tool for that and prefer to use my lineman's only for copper so that they will last and last. I can't really say if Channellock or Knipex make better lineman's or not but they are also quality brands so it might just be up to personal preference. I don't think you can go too wrong with any of those brands. What I can tell you however is that I personally have been pleased with Klein pliers in the past and these appear to be no different. Klein J2000-9NE 9-Inch Journeyman High-Leverage Side-Cutting Pliers-Heavy-Duty Cutting

These pliers are excellent. I love this tool I must say. These are heavy duty and I really didn't want to pay as much as I had, but I needed a new pair and I like the colors. These are great pliers good for any electrician and overall these seem like they will last me a long while and it is well worth the cost. - Side-cutting - Klein Tools - Pliers - Side-cutting Pliers'

Shirt was great, in bright colors (I especially like the Tomahawk chop) but I will have to wear my Yankee's shirt here during the playoffs as everyone reminds me they are sitting this one out. I am a true fan and will wear it throughout the year even in the face of Phillie fans reminding me of the sweeps this year (I remember May though! when the Braves won the series). Painting Tools - carpet runner, painting tools

We first saw this product used by a moving company. They put it down to keep our carpeted stairway clean during our move. When we decided to paint up our stairway, we needed something to protect the carpet. This worked great. We also used it to protect carpeting in my son's house while he was painting several rooms. He commented on how easy it was to use and how well it worked. We could even move the film from one area to another. It works much better than plastic drop cloths! I highly recommend this! KleenKover Carpet Film Temporary Carpet Protection 24" X 200' Reverse Wind

This was a lifesaver on our recent move. It snowed the day before our move and there was all sorts of muck and dirt on the ground. This protected our new carpet from getting ruined. It is a bit tricky to get down...it is definitely a two person job. Once down, it isn't going anywhere. Worth every penny!

I had a problem with one of the rolls I have ordered. I was contacted back the same day. I was impressed with the service of this company. I feel bad leaving a bad review for the product because they customer service person (Renee) was so fast on trying to get this issue fixed. The first roll I got was a five star product. The second roll seemed to have issues, which they are fixing right away. I am sure, the next roll I get will be perfect. I would order from AAA again!

First of all, I'm disabled so many jobs are hard for me, but having said that, I think you really need 2 people to put this on correctly so it doesn't get all tangled up. You really have to give it a PULL to get it off the roll. With one person, if you do that, it releases the part already "tacked" down from the carpet and you have a mess. It does keep the carpet clean, once you get it down. - Carpet Runner - Painting Tools'

Battery Charger Aa Or Aaa - battery charger, battery charger aa or aaa

This package (CEF14DX4N) includes four new Duracell 'Pre Charged' NiMH AA cells, plus a simple charger. The batteries are similar to the Sanyo eneloop low-self-discharge cells. In fact, based on their identical technical specifications and physical shapes of (+) and (-) terminals, I am convinced that the Duracell Pre Charged AA is actually SANYO eneloop AA underneath a different wrapper. Therefore all the good things you heard about eneloop apply to Duracell 'Pre Charged', too.

The 'value charger' (CEF14) included here, however, is not a good value because:

1. It is a timer-based dumb charger, meaning that it doesn't detect when cells are full charged. It simply charges at 360mA for 6 hours and turns off. You have to wait until your cells are fully exhausted before recharging, otherwise they will be over-charged. With a 'smart' charger, you may choose to top-off your rechargeable cells any time.

2. It can only charge either 2 or 4 AA cells in pairs. This is very inconvenient if you have appliances that require odd number of cells.

3. It can only charge two AAA cells, and you cannot charge any more AA cells at the same time.

My advice is to get the CEF23DX4N package for just a few dollars more (*). It comes with four Duracell Pre Charged cells (2xAA + 2xAAA), but the included charger (CEF23) is far superior in every aspect. It even operates from your vehicle battery, and doubles as an USB charger, too.

[Update on Dec 24, 2008]

I was only half-right when I boldly proclaimed that "Duracell Pre Charged AA are rebranded Sanyo eneloop cells" in my original review. It turns out that the first batch of Duracell AA cells I bought from Amazon are made in Japan, and those are identical to eneloop (both mechanically and electrically). But lately I bought some more Duracell AA from a warehouse club. Those are made in China, and they are identical to the Rayovac Hybrid.

[Update on Feb 15, 2010]

I have confirmed that the new Duracell 'Value Charger' has several improvements over the old model:

- Works from 100-240V AC (instead of just 120V AC)

- Able to charge 4 AAA at a time (instead of just two)

- Semi-smart charge termination (stops when BOTH cells are fully charged)

The only remaining drawback is thet it charges in pairs only.

(*) [Update on Oct 7, 2010]:

Duracell has discontinued the excellent CEF23 charger (at least in the US) last year. So prices for the remaining inventory have skyrocketed. If you need an inexpensive charger that can handle individual cell, consider the Sanyo eneloop MDR02 2-cell charger. Duracell Value Charger With 4AA Pre Charged Rechargeable Nimh Batteries, CEF14DX4

I purchased the CEF14 charger with four batteries and the charger supplied is not the same one pictured, nor is it a "dumb" charger as some have described. It can also charge four aa or aaa batteries and is not limited to two aaa's again as some have described. When I tested it, different batteries charged at different speeds and the charger switched modes to a trickle charge when a set became fully charged.

As for the batteries themselves, they do indeed seem to be comparable to Sanyo Eneloops or Rayovac Hybrids at a slightly lower price.

Not sure how Duracell did it, but they solved the one con with the Ni-mH type batteries. These pre-charged, Ni-mH batteries don't discharge when not being used, so they're perfect for digital devices. This charger with 4 batteries doesn't cost much more than just the 4 batteries alone. Here's what you do: acquire twice as many of these batteries w/ the green label as what your digital camera will take. While you're using one set in your camera keep the other set in this charger. Then, when the set in the camera go dead, just swap them out with the set that's in the charger. You've always got a set of fresh batteries and no waiting for batteries to charge, plus no buying batteries for a long time. This is more expensive initially but saves a lot of $$$ in the long run.

Point And Shoot - elph, point and shoot

I was able to get this model a little early, and was excited to try it out in - what better city to test a camera? - Paris. The last Sony snapshot camera I used was on a trip in 2007, and I was so dissatisfied with that camera that I sold it immediately after returning home. I was eager to see if Sony had improved their entry level cameras, especially the picture quality. I shall post some pictures to offer examples up in the product details, but these will be reduced in size for posting.

Photo quality: My initial day out indicated that they have made dramatic improvements in both quality and speed. Photos in daylight were crisp and clear in just about every shot, and any that weren't were only because I was shooting poorly on purpose to test the photos. I was also quite happy with the quality of shots in low light and indoors, which is where I noticed the most improvement over past Sony low-end offerings. There was some blurring in darker situations, of course, but for the most part the software was able to produce images that are well balanced and low grain. The 14 megapixel feature is great - there are many photos I've been able to crop and retain quality, and photos of, say, a stone sarcophagus can be zoomed in upon when viewing images later to see very good detail.

I must also mention that the camera is very good at balancing photos. It almost always produces a picture with an appropriate contrast, and only in the worst cases did the image wash out in an area. For example, a shot of Joan of Arc (the statue, not the person) in Notre Dame came out very well even with a stained glass window in the background. The stained glass was bright but distinguishable, and the detail of the stone statue was clear and well balanced. Only in extreme cases - such as a shot of a black sculpture in the Louvre with a window behind it with blaring sunlight - did the camera fail to balance the image, but these are the kind of bad photography shots one would never expect a camera to take well.

Types of Photos: Like most all snapshot photos, this camera will perform best shooting still subjects with plenty of light. Moving objects didn't tend to blur, a problem I'd had with other cheap snapshot cameras, but the response time can make getting these shots difficult. Trying to capture a motorcycle passing an old church, my 7-10 attempts were mostly good photos, but getting the moving bike in the exact spot I wanted was nearly impossible.

Features: Overall, this camera lacks in features, although for most uses I found it sufficient, and at the price I didn't expect a lot of extras. The 4x zoom is relatively fast and easy to use, and about right for this type of camera. I was surprised there was no optical zoom given the high megapixels, but I can live with cropping on the computer. The panorama mode is nifty but not that useful - it works quite well in creating a long image, which of course will cause distortion in most cases. To use this feature, you set the mode and clich the shutter. The camera will prompt you to move it from left to right, and then it will generate the image (which is always impossible to see on the display owing to its shape.) Here I would have liked some add'l features - there is just 'one size' for panorama shots - you must sweep all the way across or the image will fail. This creates many shots that will need to be messed with on the computer later, which is okay but annoying. I was also disappointed panorama doesn't work in an up and down orientation - you always have to sweep the camera in the same manner. You can, of course, hold it sideways to create a vertical panorama, but I really wanted some vertical shots tqking advantage of a larger width. Still, panoramas of the Tour Eiffel allowed me to create some fun, unique shots of the full height of the structure. There are not many other features - just some rudimentary quality settings, face detection, etc. Some might want to move up to a camera with more features, but I actually appreciated this in a point and shoot camera.

Battery life: Here the camera could use some help. Perhaps I'm spoiled by my Apple products, but digital cameras have more or less remained stuck in 2002 concerning batteries. It's annoying to have a separate charger, and battery life isn't great. Three hours of shooting...granted, constant shooting...at St Denis drained it. Given how light and small it is, I'd fully support doubling the battery size to get twice the life. I'd also love for camera makers to start to move toward USB charging options.

I'd also love it if cameras would start incorporating some onboard space. It feels like the dark ages to have to buy a card. 2 - 4 gig of onboard memory with a card slot for expansion would be nice.

Overall, a great, small, fun camera that's easy to grab and go. I wish Sony would re-imagine some of the ways digital cameras work, perhaps taking some cues from iPods, especially regarding batteries, but for the price this nifty unit is great.

Pros: Excellent pics for camera in this price range, good color balance, good in darker spaces, a few fun features

Cons: Battery life could be better, charging options, not many features or in-camera editing options Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W530 14.1 MP Digital Still Camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and 2.7-inch LCD (Green)

I LOVE this camera! Only had it for a week, but this is the best part so far: I am not a photographer and not super tech-savvy, but I opened the box, put in the battery and extra storage thingy and turned the camera on and started taking pictures. I still have not looked at the directions and have been taking pictures and downloading them to my computer for a week.......the photos look really great to me. If you are looking for a camera for dummies that takes nice pics and is low priced, this is the one!!!! - Elph - Point And Shoot - 300hs - Powershot'

Leggings

I love these leggings. They are very stretchy and soft (a tad itchy though but not too bad to wear). Colors match what's shown (i got yellow). They are more like stretchy capri tights though. But be careful, they are one size, so I would imagine the lighter colors might be a little see through if you are a little curvier. I held them up to a window in daytime and they are not see through in original shape, but when I stretched them, I could see straight through them. But they are thin, comfy, and the elastic doesn't dig into your waist or legs. New Womens Leggings Tights Yoga Half Leg Length - (9 Different Colors), Black

I ordered the taupe leggings but when I received them they were more yellow than taupe. The color looks nothing like it does in the picture. I am keeping them though because I do love the fit and length and I really needed them.

Hi! My name is Lisa. I am writing this review about the yoga leggings i purchased through Amazon website. I would have to say they were perfect in every way from the size down to the perfect stiching. Also i loved the fact that those yoga leggings allowed my body to contour in such a way that felt comfortable to me. I would definitely buy these yoga leggings again. I also would further say i would recommend them to any woman who wants to wear comfortable yoga leggings while you do yoga.'

Grill Cleaner

This is the first product I've ever reviewed! But I was just out scrubbing my grill for the big 4th of July Grilling Weekend and was thinking how well the Grill Daddy Cleaning tool has performed. I only bought the thing to qualify for Free Shipping but am incredibly glad that I did. It works very well. The steam cleaning action really saves a lot of elbow grease. I fully recommend it. Grill Daddy GB91062C Grill Cleaning Tool

It is handy and just the right size for inside grills such as the

Jenn Aire. What is really nice is the steam. And No more dirty

cloths. Easy to use and does the job. We also have the big daddy

for our outside Bar-Be-Que. Very good invention. SOmeone saw a need and

filled it.

I bought one of these for my husband and one for my Mother in law for her birthday and they both like it. Its takes a lot less effort to clean the grill then with traditional methods and it comes way cleaner. The product is easy to use and does what it claims. I would recommend to others.

Love the Grill Daddy. Just heat up the grill, fill the Daddy with water, and brush away clean your grill. Makes the grill maintenance so much easier. It's made out of plastic, so I'm not sure how long it will last. For now, I couldn't be happier.

I was mildly skeptical that the addition of the water to the brush would help in cleaning the grill, but I have to say I was wrong--I actually now enjoy the post-taking-off-of-the-food-from-the-grill steam cleaning! Because the cast iron grate on my Weber Q is cleaner now, my sear lines on steaks come out perfectly and food never sticks (it used to, even with a bit of an olive oil daub). I also like that the grill brush is removable and machine-washable.

I like this so much, I'll probably buy one for my Dad.

I thought I would give this a shot due to the fact it is bbq season again. I have to admit I wasn't expecting much...what a surprise! My husband laughed at me when I used it because he said I sounded like an actor for the company. One swipe across the grill and it left a clean line like something you would see in a commercial. So easy to use and it really works!!

I have spent lots of hours on the grill so I have also spent a lot of time cleaning my grills. I have used every kind of brush there is to clean the grate surface. I have done everything for removing the grate and using Brillo to stainless brushes, brass brushes, you name it, I've tried it. I never was really happy until now. I finish cooking and immediately grab my Grill Daddy cleaning tool, open the water valve on top and in a few seconds the grill looks like brand new. The trick is that it must be done while the grill is hot and the steam quickly removes even the hardest of burned on residue. I LOVE this brush. It has reduced what use to take a half hour down to a couple of minutes. If you like to use your grill but hate the clean up this is a must have.'

Ipod Touch Clearscreen - ipod touch clearscreen, ipod touch 4th generation

The Belkin iPod Touch Screen Overlay can be difficult to install, but it does offer great protection for the iPod once you install it. The Belkin iPod Touch Screen Overlay is a thick piece of plastic which adheres to the screen of the iPod without needing the use of liquids. There are cutouts in the overlay for the button at the bottom of the iPod and for the camera.

The application of the Belkin overlay is straightforward. First you clean the screen of the iPod with a microfiber cloth (there is one provided, but it is a bit rough). I also used a dust blower like the one that you would use to clean a camera lens such as the Giottos AA1900 Rocket Air Blaster Large (Black) to ensure that all of the lint on the screen was removed. The use of a dust blower seems to be a critical step during the application to ensure that you don't get air bubbles under the underlay. The overlay is shipped with plastic film on each side which is removed by pulling on a tab to expose the overlay. About 1/2 inch of the plastic film on one side of the overlay is removed and you line up the overlay with the screen of the iPod. The rest of the plastic film is then removed as you push the overlay onto the screen. Next, air bubbles are pressed out from under the overlay and finally the plastic film on the other side of the overlay is removed.

In practice, the removal of all of the air bubbles can take time and a single piece of lint under the overlay can cause problems, so it is important to make certain that the screen is clean by using a dust blower. I was able to remove all of the air bubbles with the exception of the area around the camera. The overlay is pulling up from the screen in a small area around the camera which is unfortunate since it does not look great, but at least the screen is protected.

I started the application at the bottom of the iPod screen to ensure that I lined up the overlay with the button at the bottom of the iPod, but still had to start over to ensure that the cutouts fit the button and camera correctly. Unfortunately, the Belkin overlay is very unforgiving if you make a mistake. Because I had to pull the overlay back up to refit it to the screen, I touched a corner of the underside of the overlay with my fingers. What I should have done was to use the supplied plastic film to grasp the corner of the overlay because now the corner of the overlay that I touched will not adhere to the iPod screen. Fortunately, there are three overlays in the package and I can try to apply a new overlay.

One downside to the Belkin cover is that it feels like plastic when you are sliding your finger over the iPod screen. This is not as nice as the feel of the glass screen, but it is a small price to pay for protecting the iPod screen. Another downside is that the Belkin cover attracts smudges. Again, this is a small price to pay for protecting the screen, but it is unfortunate.

In order to protect the corners and back of the iPod, I used a iPod Touch 4 4th Gen TPU skin case MiniSuit case for iPod Touch 4th Generation, 4th Gen + MiniSuit Microfiber Key Chain - Smoke which I highly recommend. The MimiSuit case fit snugly over the Belkin overlay and will prevent it from lifting up from the edges of the iPod screen.

In summary, the Belkin iPod Touch Screen Overlay offers great protection for the iPod. With the exception of the area around the camera, the overlay looks great on the iPod. Most importantly, the Belkin overlay does not interfere with the clarity or crispness of the images on the iPod screen. I recommend the Belkin iPod Touch Screen Overlay to protect the iPod screen. Belkin Screen Overlay 3-pack for iPod touch 4G (Clear)

After attempting to apply the Zagg invisibleSHIELD and Incipio screen overlay / protectors I ended up with Belkins' and couldn't be happier. The Zagg invisibleSHIELD required liquids and turned out to be a mess and quite frankly was not safe for electronics considering all the open inputs on the iPod Touch. If that wasn't enough, the holes for the home button and camera are not fully cut out so you have to poke them out, and with such a tedious job, I would rather not have to do that with risk of messing up the overlay. Incipio, ended up with quite a few bubbles and did not line up properly. As for Belkin, at first attempt applied perfectly. No bubbles , clear screen, you get 3 of them which is great, an added screen cloth, and a cheap price! Thank you Belkin for a great product. 5 stars!

These screen protectors are easy to apply and nearly unnoticeable once on! Definitely needed to keep the iPod screen free from scratches. A simple and inexpensive solution to protecting from scratches.

Firstly, it's easy to apply. The bubbles take a bit to get out, but you can get them all out. However, the card they send to help get rid of the bubbles leave little marks on the screen protector. They aren't noticeable unless you look for them, but it bugs me. Then, there are the sticker tabs. The first one came off easily. The second was more difficult and left a sticky residue on the screen protector! I had to use goo gone on the screen protector to get it off. That was a bit irritating.

Now that I have it on, it is doing it's job fine. It fits great and it doesn't distort the picture at all and the touch screen works fine with it on as well.

If it wasn't for the first two flaws, it would be an excellent product!

This product actually works pretty well compared to some other screen protectors I have tried. I have noticed though, if the protector is not placed completely perfect when you put a case on it tends to bubble in one corner but I can live with that!

Takes some care to apply properly. Once applied properly, You won't realize it's there. Doesn't use any adhesives, which is good. It is moderately resistant to scratches. If it does get scratched up, there are two more overlays to replace it with. Works great for me. Recommended. - Ipod Touch 4th Generation - Ipod Touch Clearscreen'

Nail Clippers - pet clippers, nail clippers

This is a nice, sharp little nail trimmer. I volunteer regularly at a cat shelter and trim a lot of cat claws every week. I have used several different trimmers over the past year. This one made the cleanest "cuts", with no nail splitting. It is sharp and the blades are close together (without wiggle), so I can make a precise cut. A good purchase. Safari Nail Trimmer for Cats, Stainless Steel

I have a sneaky ninja cat. I tried giving her things to scratch so her nails would shed. That didn't work. I would pick her up and it would be, "Sheba ouch!" and she would say "haha!" and run away laughing. She was always catching her evil nails of doom on things too. But then my vet taught me how to trim her nails and told me how to find a good set of clippers! She is still my ninja cat but when I hold her I'm no longer getting sliced up.

I bought these clippers for my 13 week old indoor kitten, so I could get her used to having her nails trimmed. I've never had a pair of scissor trimmers before so I have nothing to compare to, but I really liked these. They were sharp and clipped quickly and efficiently; my cat never realized what I was doing until I was done. They are a good size for a kitten and will also work well when she becomes an adult. I have an 8lb dog that I also tried the clippers on and they worked okay but were much tougher to cut, and I wouldn't recommend them for a dog any bigger. Would highly recommend for cats.

I had been trimming my cats' nails with toenail clippers meant for people. Big mistake.

These scissor-style clippers are so much faster and they do not crush the nail. I can get in and get my two cats claws so fast they hardly even notice what's going on until it's over.

Highly recommended, except for one thing: The finger holes in the scissors are sized for children. I have small, girlie hands and I still find them difficult to use. If you have big hands, you should probably go with another product.

I read many good reviews for these trimmers. Due to that and the price, I decided to give this product a try. I clipped the first claw and wanted to throw these clippers away. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried a few more of my cat's front claws - to no avail. It felt like I was crushing the nail instead of cutting it. The blades are very small and might work fine on a kitten. It was difficult to get a good feel for a starting point on the nail, and because of that the trimmer shifted a lot. There is no way I would attempt the larger back claws with these trimmers. I have already bought the Bamboo brand and will try those in the next day or two.

This was the first pair of scissors-style clippers I've ever tried for our cats.

I normally get the ones with the larger gripper-style handles, but the blades never

seem sharp anymore, doing more splintering than cutting. I even bought a new pair

to be sure it was in top shape, and same problems. I decided they must have redesigned

those to work mainly on dogs now.

So, got a pair of these to try.

If you are a man, you probably will have a VERY difficult time using them. These are

very small scissors. I don't have large hands, so I can use them, but none of the guys

can get their fingers in the holes. Ladies, think cuticle scissors, and you'll understand

your working room for your own hands.

You have to be sure to have the screw head facing the cat to cut the right way. It actually

helps to make sure you don't cut too much that way, so it works all right.

It still doesn't make as clean a cut as I'd like to see. In fact, you can hear the crunching of

the nail material when you cut, which has a little "ewww" factor. However, they DO do a better

job of cutting the cat nails than the other styles of pet clippers have done. I do find that I have

to trim a little more often with these, but that's doable. They leave a smoother cut than the other

styles of clippers I've used, but don't expect a perfectly smooth tip. You'd have to use a file for that

still. (I let our cats do their own trim-ups on their scratching posts.) For those who say it is crushing

their cat's nails, be sure that the scissors are held vertically, in the same direction as the toenail is growing out.

Makes sense? Don't make it go crossways, which might indeed crush the nail instead.

The cats don't seem too bothered by these either (at least, any more than any other clipper! One doesn't

care about getting his nails done, but our little girl cat doesn't like anyone messing with her feet for

any reason!), which makes this a plus for these clippers. Since they require a little more dexterity on the

part of whoever is cutting, I do have someone else hold the cats now so I can control the little scissors

better.

I can't vouch for how long they'll stay sharp because I haven't been using them for an extended period of time.

(We've had them for a month, and I trim once a week.)

Overall, for what they are and how they are made, I think they should be cheaper.

But, they do what they advertise - trim your cat's nails without cutting their quick.

UPDATE 11/20/10: We've been using these for a while now, and both cats don't seem to mind too much.

However, it is very weird - they have disappeared! I think the cats must've hid them so I couldn't cut their

nails anymore. That's my theory anyway, and I'm sticking to it until they show back up.

It has done a good job of keeping their nails cut without hurting them or cutting too close to the quick.

Really nice product, got shipped quickly. The best thing about it, i think, is that the grip is rubber covered, so it will not slip on your pets paws while you making a cut. All in all, i think this is about as good as it can get for the price you're paying. Not disappointed. - Nail Clippers - Cat Grooming - Cats - Pet Clippers'

postage scale - digital scale tare accurate, shipping scale

I am really pleased with this purchase. It saves me having to run to the post office every time I need to mail something weighing more than one ounce. I have an old mechanical postage scale and I discovered it was over-weighing everything. I threw it in the trash after getting this one. I like the fact that I can even weigh food in kilograms for my diet. 50 Pound Capacity Weighmax 2822-50 Blue Color Postal Shipping Scale, Battery and AC Adapter Included

Two problems. One, it is sold in the USA but its default setting is in KG not OZ. Called them and it can't be changed. Second, it takes several seconds for the reading on the scale to stabilize at zero, before it can be used. Too much trouble.

lately i've been running back and forth to the post office and like the other reviewer added it saved me from making unnecessary trips. it's seems to be accurate and super easy to use. you can switch measurements e.g. ounces to pounds with a touch of a button. it comes with batteries and an adaptor which is nice. i'm so glad i purchased this just in time to get ready for the holiday season and avoid those ridiculous lines!!

I own my own online business, and I offer free USPS Priority Mail shipping, so I need to ship orders as cheaply as possible. I ordered this scale so I could weigh packages at home (because its cheaper to print the postage online than buy it at the Post Office) and choose the cheapest option between flat rate and by weight. This scale has already saved me boatloads of money. It weighs packages easily, quickly, and accurately.

The scale has worked great. The thing I like most is that it keeps the weight after you remove the item. So if the item is too big for you see the weight when it is on the scale it keeps it after you remove your item.

Very pleased with this scale. It operates on a/c or a 9v battery. It is accurate, lightweight, small enough to be storred on a shelf or in a drawer out of the way. I especially appreciate the tare feature when weighing large packags.

Not sure how to rate this since I never did receive it. Amazon is using a new delivery service "Ensenda" which said they delivered but did not. A definite issue with Amazon. I ultimately got a credit and ordered an item that weighed 75# instead of 50 and for less money from another supplier. It is the same make and the item itself is good. - Weighing Scale - Shipping Scale - Postage Scale - Digital Scale Tare Accurate'

Portable Grill - grill parts, grill accessory

Apparently this same hose is packaged under several different Weber part numbers for some strange reason. Buy this hose only if you have no squirrels or other rodents where you live. They like the taste (maybe it's grease that drips on it), and bite right through causing a leak. They ruined mine after just 1 month of use. A far better quality product that does the same thing is the Freedom Grill FG-50HA hose. It is stainless steel braid hose, and animal proof. It is slightly shorter, but still plenty long enough to reach from the Q grill at table height to a 20 lb cylinder on the ground. Thanks for earlier reviews that point to the FG-50HA. I bought it and it works great with my Q. Weber 6501 6-Foot Adapter Hose for Weber Q Series and Gas Go-Anywhere Grills

You basically need this (or a similar hose) if you want to do much grilling on a Weber Q. That said, the safety protections are very finicky, and it's extremely easy to set it off by opening the valve too quickly, or opening it again too quickly after shutting it off. That is: follow the instructions, and it will work.

UPDATE:

Can't seem to change the star rating in this review. This hose was chewed through by critters of some kind (we are not the only ones who've had this problem), rendering it useless. We have been happy with the metal-clad replacement Freedom Grill FG-50HA Stainless Steel Propane Hose Adapter (available on Amazon).

I have the Q grill with cart and the hose(adapter) for 3 years. I love it on the deck and at the park/party, except sometimes the 20lb tank does not work well. I decided to buy a new adapter but thanks to the reviews here I realized a new hose will probably not solve the problem. So I called Weber Customer Service Line 1-800-446-1071. I got the instruction and it works! Here is the instruction:

1. Turn off(close) the tank knob;open the grill lid; turn grill knob to Hi/Start; screw off the hose at the tank side.(I waited for a couple minutes to flush out the hose, I think.)

2. Turn grill knob to OFF;screw back on the hose to the tank; turn on(open) the tank knob STEADILY, not too fast( I actually did it SLOWLY just to hope for the best result); wait for 3-4 minutes for the pressure to build up. This way the grill regulator won't be alarmed and kick in, that's how I understand it.

3. Light the grill as usual -- grill knob on Hi/Start and the hiss and the red button.

this adapter hose is super easy to attach. the 6 foot hose is more than enough length to reach and position your tank in the right place.

it seems unfair that people rated this with 1 star when the problem is squirrels. i think squirrels should get 1 star...

If you're looking for the Freedom Grill FG-50HA Stainless Steel Propane Hose -- the squirrel-proof hose -- it's mis-categorized on this website as "Automotive." So search either "Automotive" or "All Departments" to find it. I have to give this hose a one-star rating because it's not made out of a material will that will last, and you'll have to buy another.

I bought this adapter to use with my Weber 1520 Propane Gas Go-Anywhere Grill.

I needed it because I was going on a month long boat trip and didn't want to carry a bunch of the little cannisters the grill was designed to use.

Most of the bad reviews for this adapter have to do with squirrels eating the hose. Didn't have this problem on the Mississippi River.

If you need an adapter, and squirrels aren't a problem, this will work great!

Hooked it up to my Q 100 and a 20lb tank. Works great.... I wish it came with the Q100 rather than a separate purchase.... if you have a Weber Q grill its really nice to be able to use either propane setups. - Barbecue - Grill Parts - Grill Accessory - Accessory'
