Wide Brim Hat - waldo, funny

I've been looking for a good wide-brimmed red hat for ages now, and all I could ever find with any sort of brim at all were those cheesy ones made of that cheap plastic straw stuff. This one is made of good, thick felt with a sturdy fitting-band inside. I love the wide brim - it's very flattering to my face, sassy and sophisticated at the same time. And it bounces right back into shape if it gets smashed. I plan to order a couple more in other colors and so that I can decorate a few with feathers and things. Thanks for finally having just what I was looking for! Seductive Red Wide Brim Diva Style Floppy Hat - Goofy - Waldo - Kit - Funny'

I first heard of Foster the People early one morning while laying in bed half asleep listening to an NPR interview with Mark Foster, founder of the group. The interviewer peppered the piece with clips of songs from the "Torches" album, which was just about to be released. I remember finding the tunes very catchy even in my half-dazed slumber. I made a mental note to listen to the album tracks more thoroughly on iTunes before making a decision to buy "Torches". I loved what I heard and quickly purchased the album here on Amazon. I've listened to it nonstop ever since it arrived several days ago. I'm really amazed that I'm so taken with this work particularly in light of the obvious fact that it is somewhere between shameless bubble gum and light pop. Some have called it "alternative", but I honestly don't see it. Anyway, I think my attraction to "Torches" is it's infectiously upbeat Southern California sunniness. It just makes me happy (even the relatively disturbing subject matter of "Pumped Up Kicks"). I think this band is going to be immensely popular for pretty much the same reason someone like Katie Perry is much loved - they put big smiles on the faces of their followers. They're not for everyone, but they're definitely for me! Torches

Five stars. Ten stars. A hundred stars. I regret giving five stars to anything in the past, because none of it approaches how mind-blowingly awesome this album is.

As others have said, Foster the People are masters of alternative/indie dance rock. I've seen the comparisons to MGMT and Passion Pit, but this is so much more. Those bands are midgets compared to this giant. Every single song on this album is a hit, better than any hit by any band of this nature in recent memory. Every. Single. Song. The beats and hooks are simply unbelievable.

This album will make you dance until you pass out. It will cheer you up when you are having the worst day of your life. It will make you drive fast and scream along in public, embarrassing yourself. If you listen to this in bed with headphones on, you will dance in your bed and wake up your significant other.

I am honestly grateful that this band exists and that I have found them. I have not felt this way about music in a long time - possibly ever. Buy this, and buy a copy for everyone you care about in the world.

This is a highly anticipated CD release by the trio of Mark Foster, Cubbie Fink & Mark Ponitus since forming the band Foster The People in the late 2009. This great effort CD release (10 tracks), titled 'Torches' opens with a solid track/gem/stand-out track "Helena Beat" : a techno-pop track with wonderful high pitched vocals & melody. This is my favourite track from this CD & hence the title of my review. "Pumped Up Kicks" is a great 'altered voiced' second track. Other great tracks include "Call It What You Want" (up-tempo track with great vocals & melody), "Waste", "I Would Do Anything For You" (beautiful vocals/keyboard combination) & "Houdini" (a techno-pop-dance track with some interesting whistling sounds). Okay tracks include "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)", "Life On The Nickel", "Miss You" (rather 'noisy' music track with good vocals) & "Warrant" (up-tempo track with drum/techno sound/bass combination). The band is heavily influenced by alternative greats & dance/techno sounds producing interesting pop/dance sound. Foster The People debuts here with the CD 'Torches' to light up the way to a successful career from here henceforth, a recommended CD listening.

the music on this album is consistently good throughout. I'm sure most people will buy this album for "pumped up kicks", but I can't stop listening to "Helena Beat". It's all very atmospheric, but has a good beat; Perfect for listening in a relaxed setting or at a get-together. Why are you reading this? just buy it already.

Foster the People burst on to the alternative music scene when their first single, Pumped Up Kicks, began receiving heavy airplay in the latter months of 2010. The band's eerie take on the distorted reality of a latchkey kid and his subsequent attempt to command attention by wielding a weapon and delivering the ominous warning, "better run, better run faster than my bullet," piqued the interest of listeners and earned Foster the People instant notoriety. Their EP album was simply a tease, and it left their newfound devotees clamouring for more. The release of their first full length album, Torches, is the antidote to the feverish pleadings of their trip hop-craved following.

The group's global sound alludes to something like a fusion of MGMT and Passion Pit's signature electronica stylings, with a hint of Two Door Cinema Club thrown in the mix. The heavy hooks and infectious rhythms are practically begging to be absorbed with the car windows rolled down and the volume jacked up, whilst head bobbing and steering wheel tapping ensue. A combination of reverb-heavy synths and sleek instrumentation, in addition to the laconic delivery of alluring, intentionally repetitive lyrics, create dance-worthy tracks that are both accessible and instantly endearing.

Despite the fact that it is a debut album, Torches is certain to leave Foster the People deeply entrenched in the alternative landscape. Not all of the songs contain the magical elements that garnered the attention of "Pumped up Kicks," but they do coalesce to form a uniquely satisfying auditory experience. Furthermore, although there is a notable lack of diversity amongst tracks, they have established a formula that doesn't eagerly invite tampering. This is certainly a group worth following, as their raw potential is largely uncharted in an industry that seems preoccupied with providing easily digestible, ubiquitous pop to the masses.

The album is FULL of fun, danceable tracks, but the overall sound and tone falls in line with recent pop trends (Passion Pit). Since the album does not do anything revolutionary, I am only giving it 3/5 stars. I'd also like to make a correction. Many people and the band's Wikipedia page categorize them as "Indie". Unfortunately, if your songs are used in movies, on TV shows, commercials, video games, and you are on Columbia Records, you are NOT Indie. I'm sure this is a mislabeling case by the press or individuals online. I'm not sure if the band labeled themselves as "Indie". Regardless, I am in LOVE with this album and the band itself. Get the album and see them live.I saw them at the Austin City Limits Festival and they know how to put on a good show! :) - Rock Music - Acoustic - British - Folk Music'

240hz - 1080p, hdtv

Received this TV late last week (6/2/11). The set looks great. I ordered a 52 inch Samsung 7000 series Plasma a couple of months before this and ended up returning it. It put out a lot of heat! The Plasma also had image-retention.If you would watch ESPN for even twenty minutes and change the channel, you could see the shadow of the ESPN logo for a couple of minutes.. The Plasma also had a slight buzzing noise. BTW the Plasma was properly broken in.

After returning the Plasma I decided I did not want logo's and letterbox's (widescreen black boxes top & bottom) dictating what I watched. I knew I wanted an LED-LCD from one of the top manufactures (Samsung, Sony, LG, Sharp).

The Sony's were a little ridiculous as far as the price and did not look any better in the big-box stores than the other brands: Buy one if you really want to pay more for a Sony logo to impress your friends (I hope you do not have those type of friends, life is too short)... The Samsung TV's seemed to have "clouding" issues and I was not impressed with my Samsung Plasma.

This set had good reviews and the 52 inch size is perfect! The TV is bright (backlight needs to be turned down a bit from factory setting) and really looks amazing with no noticed "flash-lighting" or "clouding" so far. Colors a very accurate and the apps, ex. Netflix, are great. The TV even comes with wifi built in, no usb wifi device needed! Blacks are dark for an led and viewing angles are very wide.

If you want a solid set from one of the top manufacturers this set is perfect and can be had for a solid value. Sharp LC52LE835U Quattron 52-inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED-LCD HDTV, Black

Let me start off by saying this TV when I first saw it online I fell in love.

The reviews at the time all had 4-5 star, no complaints ect. I first saw it at $1450ish on Amazon and figured for a 52" 3D LED TV that sounds like a steal.

I have a 32" Sharp TV in my bedroom thats older and love it, grant it 5 years old, still is a great LCD.

Anyway a few things on this TV I want to point out as some reivews don't mention this or understand it.

This TV while it is LED it is Edgelit LED which means it will have some very minor bleed, but this is what allows it to be soo thin, and boy is it small! GREAT for wall hanging!

Let me go into some details on this.

The edges of the screen on dark images look perfect, no issues, on bright images you see the far left and right side have a very minor bit of more brightness to them, and no one noticed until I pointed it out even. (I am just very detailed so I see everything).

Its def not a cause to not buy the TV. Its very minor and again on dark images (which I thought is funny as expected otherwise) it has no bleed on edges.

The flightlight effect some people are seeing, if I recall correct its same as above, on edgelit this can be common, but its also very very minor and only visable if you have the image set to certain modes that are just bright. I have yet to adjust anything manually, am going to calibrate it with the Disney WOW disk when I get around to ordering but I am sure after this it will be fine.

All in all I think for 3d LED tv its fair price. It has plenty of features for network (which the Wifi setup without issue and works great also btw).

My only other complaint other than minor things mentioned above, which wouldn't stop me from buying again because for the price I cant find anything better except maybe plasma is that its not a true 240Hz like Amazon and Sharp make it look.

This TV is 120Hz and has a setting for 120Hz high, low and 240 Aquomotion. The 240 Aquomotion is not a real 240Hz, its 120Hz on the screen side and does 120Hz on the LEDs or something like that.

In Sharps words "AquoMotion 240 Technology improves fast moving images by combining Sharp's 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced Technology with 120-backlight scanning. Fine Motion Advanced processing creates and inserts 60 unique frames a second, which smoothes out edges that occur between frames in the original footage. The backlight scanning works with the panel refresh rate to further reduce perceived motion blur and improve overall clarity and picture quality."

So that's my only other complaint really. I thought I got a great deal on a 240Hz TV to find out its really just 120Hz. That made me feel like the value of it went down some.

I really have not gotten to test 3D also because no glasses and the new model ones just came out and are not in stores yet and I don't want to buy the old ones of course. Also if buying on Amazon, buy it after like 1AM ET or late on weekends. The price has dropped down to mid 1300's and seems to jump all over.

Also be careful as Amazon only price matches one time, I thought they would keep matching own price but while they did work with me a few times they pointed out its a onetime thing so make it count if using!

Overall I would say is still a decent TV for price, even feeling robbed on the 240Hz a little. You cant find a 3D 52" LED TV for this price. Only plasma.

My other minor complaint I forgot to add is the screen is semi gloss, can have some glare. Probably not as bad as a plasma would be but was unexpected.

I would rate it at a B+ on A-F scale. Would be an A if was true 240Hz and not gloss as again the bleed and what not is so minor I don't mind it once you correct settings.

***Update*** 7/4/11

So TV started to get more noticeable flashlighting effect. Seems that as it broke in some they got brighter and now I can see them through some images. I read a lot of people online get this problem but also a lot don't. With the size of these nothing is perfect.

Anyway I reached out to Amazon and no questions asked they placed a new order and the delivery guys will pick this one up on way out.

I did also notice on this TV I do have 2 stuck pixels. They are the yellow ones too but from 2 or more feet away you can't see them because how small they are.

I hope my new one has no stuck (even though couldn't tell) and the flashlighting is none or much less. It seems when you first turn on the TV you get no flashlighting but after about an hour of being on its at its brightest.

Will update when I get it *crosses fingers*

***UPDATE*** 7/11/11

So new TV came. Box looked not the best which I was worried about (not Amazon's fault).

Anyway got it all setup. It has same flashlight issue, but has a few less but still has them. Hopefully they won't get any brighter this time. The upside is this one has no stuck or bad pixels at all and old one had a few yellow ones. (Not that I could see them from more than 2 feet away and I wouldn't RMA with only a few if you cant see them from 2 feet or more away). Like I said before some flashlighting is expected on these types of TV and it also depends on your brightness. They don't show them also for the first hour you turn them on, it's after about an hour they start to show. I can see them simple after an hour on and than putting it on Auto (so it does not dim down) and turning my cable box off so the screen is blank.

They are livable and may adjust away better when I re-calibrate.

On the other upside Amazon has a GREAT deal right now. Buy this TV from them before end of July and you also get TWO free 3D glasses!! That's extra $160 you save! Just add them to cart at the same time you buy the TV. This TV does not come with any by default but with Amazon doing this AWSOME BUNDLE the value of this TV just got even better!

So after all this would I buy this TV again? Yup! It's still a great price and has a nice picture. My only complaints still are minor flash lighting (only visible after being on more than an hour and very minor, someone prob wont see unless I point out), the semi gloss screen and the misleading 240Hz thing as its really only 120Hz. It's still a great buy though. You can't find anything with these features for this price still. It has great apps, built-in Wifi (no dongle to play with or buy even like some Samsungs make you) and it connects to internet without any issues!

Buy the TV and get it before july ends so you get the free glasses! You won't regret it. And with Amazon if you have ANY issues they will work with you without question. So you see a few people with issues with lines or something but a simple eMail or call and Amazon takes care of you. That's why I buy from Amazon over BestBuy or Walmart. Great price, great selection and AWSOME customer service! - 3d Tv - Led - Hdtv - 1080p'

Scuba Diving - swimming, uv protection

I was impressed with this wetsuit from the beginning, and it has held up very well. My oldest son has used the suit now through two winters and it will be handed down to a younger brother this next winter. I have patched the leg in one place because of a too-long finger nail when putting it on, but pretty much the thing is as tough as any wetsuit I've seen.

I find the kids get colder quicker than me and the 3/2 seems about right for them. If the water is too cold for this then my kids aren't going in anyway.

I bought hoods, gloves, and booties at the same time but these were soon discarded as too cumbersome for the boys to deal with.

My son was 11 when we bought this (he's slightly small for his age) and he had some growing to do to fill it out, but it worked well even being slightly too large at the time. Later, as he grew into a proper fit the movement/articulation of his arms and legs continued to be good, and he says the suit is comfortable. He seems to have no trouble paddling a surfboard or swimming when his board gets away from him.

As expected I have to help him get into it but he can zip/unzip it just fine.

All in all we've been very pleased with the purchase and would buy this one again. Great product. O'Neill Wetsuits Youth Reactor 3/2mm Full Suit, Black/Pacific/Black, 16

My son takes swimming lesson in a swimming pool that is very cold. I bought a short sleeve wetsuit for him but he still comes up with purple lips. So finally found this long sleeve wet suit. The size was perfect and he is much more comfortable in the pool. The only thing is that the material is thick and stiff, so he felt like it was helping him doing the butterfly. Because otherwise he just flops too much:-)

I really recommend this product for children.

The lake here is pretty cold for most of the summer, but that didn't stop my girls thanks to these wetsuits! They've had hours of fun in the water. They are true to size (I recommend reviewing the manufacturers size chart for best fit). There's a convenient zipper cord up the back so my daughters, 9 & 6 years can easily zip up or zip out. I am definitely recommending this product. - Uv Protection - Swimming - Thermal - Swimwear'

Allergen Screening

The results (quantitative readings) performed by the lab were comprehensive with data detail, but lacking in interpretation of the data. After reading the results I could not determine if I had a problem or not, because I was not able to determine if the results were bad, good or normal. I call the lab for guidance and they said they were not allowed to give specific advice on actions required, if any (just the facts). Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Allergen Screening Check (ASC) Kit'

Virgin Mobile

I have never had a cell phone plan, and I don't plan on having one any time soon. When I first started using cell phones, the curse of prepaid services were the phones. Companies like Net10 had fantastic deals, but the phones were always cheap and disposable, which of course is the great part about prepaid service. I'm not stuck with a phone for two years and if I need one, I'm not worrying about the price.

Another great part about prepaid service is that I will never have to speak with a representative. Virgin Mobile is an easy set up and upon start up, the phone was quick to activate and start my service. This two reasons are high on my list for why prepaid trumps contract phone plans.

When this phone was announced, I was a bit skeptical. I was worried that it would be a watered down version of the LG Optimus S, but I am happy to report that it is essentially the same device. The following will mention the look, feel, and speed of the device.

The touch screen: Nimble! Going from screen to screen is fluid, transitions are visible. For every single touch and swipe, the device is right there with you. There is no lag to be found. However, there are times when I'm playing Angry Birds, and there is considerable lag. It usually happens for the first thirty seconds of the game.

Screen resolution: High quality but with the plastic front, it cheapens the device. However, I am not complaining. Zooming in and out on a webpage, you might notice that it's a little pixelated when you get close to the text.

3G capabilities: Testing this against my friend's iPhone, it's very fast. I was incredibly surprised by the responsiveness and how quick I could go from webpage to webpage. But, I will say that there are times there is absolutely no service. After looking through forums, one easy way to fix this is by activating the phone again. I did this once, and it helped tremendously.

App store: Although it's not as big as Apple's app store, it has everything one would need. The great thing about Android is that if there's something you don't like, you can change it. Widgets are absolutely one of the best features about Android's app store. You can even change the web browser if you don't like it!

This phone does not support Flash, so don't be disappointed.

Navigation: A dream. It works better than my Garmin, the voice is loud and concise. I will say that after plugging it into my auxillary connector that it does sound a little muffled. But I'm not disappointed at all. The maps are amazing. There was one time the directions were a little funky and another that it was taking a while to acquire satellite.

Camera quality: I have to say, the quality of the camera is amazing. With auto focus, it's great. And with the camera apps, you can create some great effects.

Overall, this phone is a great value. I talk a lot, so I use the unlimited everything plan for $60.00. It's not a bad deal considering I would be paying well over $100.00 anywhere else.

There are a lot of other prepaid services you might want to consider if you want to go prepaid. If you aren't someone who talks a lot and just need a phone, Net10 is the perfect service. But if you do talk a lot and browse the internet, then services like Boost Mobile, AT&T GoPhone, Straight Talk, and Virgin Mobile are great alternatives to the high cost of contracts.

The problem with prepaid still? The phones need a lot of work, but this is the first I've seen to make a huge step toward a great future with prepaid service.

Update:

I love this phone. It has efficiently replaced my iPod and GPS Navigator. Put in a 16gb micro sd card, and you're set. Apps like Double Twist make music listening a great experience (and for $4.99, you can sync your music wirelessly, listen to radio stations, AND podcasts)

If your car as an auxillary connector or even a tape adapter, connect your phone, and you can listen to Navigation WHILE listening to music. I know it's a weird thing to obsess about, but I always thought it was one or the other. Directions are precise, so I'm not constantly looking at my phone wondering where I am.

Streaming on Pandora and NPR is great. However, after a few hours, it completely stops and you have to get back into the app. It's not terrible, but I like to listen while I'm at work.

The Android App Market has everything you're looking for as long as you know how to search. I would recommend joining forums, because that's how I found out about different apps. One I love in particular is the WiFi Hotspot widget. With a simple click, you can connect your laptop and computer to the phone's 3g network. Other apps like Car Home allow you to travel and easily find navigation, music, and manage what apps you need on the go.

Depending on where I am, Youtube can lag a little. I expected this. But for the price and the fact that I have completely replaced a few gadgets I own, this is totally worth it. LG Optimus Prepaid Android Phone (Virgin Mobile)

I had to abandon my ATT family plan in favor of letting my youngest daughter get on it and enjoy the free family minutes and unlimited texting, etc., which I don't use so much (already had 5 lines and they won't let me add another one). So, I was looking for the cheapest alternative to getting a 6th line, at least comparable to what I would have paid for the 6th line on ATT. I looked all over and all the individual plans where $40+ or so, without including texting. Then I came across the Virgin Mobile $25 unlimited data, text, web + 300 minutes and it seemed that it would fit the bill.

I got the phone on sale for $105 and it is just the best phone I have ever had, although I have not activated it yet (more on this later), at an awesome price. Why haven't I activated it yet? Well, it turns out, this android phone lets you install all kind of apps from the android market via wifi without activating the phone, you can pop in an 8Gb, 16Gb or 32Gb SDHC card and use this as a pretty awesome (and cheap) ipod/iphone substitute. I have installed apps for watching TV shows, read news (USA Today, NYTime, Bloomberg, etc), Pandora radio (sound through the speaker is very full for such a tiny device), GPS navigation/maps, calculators, MS Office documents viewer, a few games, GasBuddy to find cheap gas locally (pretty handy these days), etc. All FREE from the Android market. But, BY FAR, the best applications I installed are Google Voice, which together with SIPDroid (after signing up for a free GoogleVoice account and a free PBXes.org account) allows me to link them together and configure the phone to use VOIP to make my calls through the internet instead of using the limited 300 minutes I would get if I signed up with Virgin Mobile for $25/month, I can also use it to do unlimited free texting through my Google voice number.

I wanted to do this to make sure I did not go over the 300 minutes and start racking up a huge bill with VM once I activated the phone, but as it turns out, this has worked out so well that I am still undecided as to weather I will need to activate the phone and sign up for the monthly service. Granted, I can only make/receive calls when I am within WIFI range, but, WIFI is so prevalent these days. Many of the establishments a person does business with have free internet access for their customers: Starbucks, Dennys, Mcdonalds, Barnes&nobles, Homedepots, Panera bread, Hooters, highway rest stops, libraries, Krogers, Quiznos, Schlotzsky, FedEx offices, Hotels... the list goes on and on. I also installed a WIFI Analyzer App which shows if there is a free/open WIFI within range and its signal strength. You can get a nice directory of wifi spots in your area here-> [...] which of course does not list all the available ones.

What happens when I'm outside WIFI range? Well, of course I can not make calls, inbound calls go to my GoogleVoice voice mail and as soon as I get into WIFI range and connect, my inbound text messages get delivered and/or I get a notification of a missed call which I can check right away. Obviously not something I would want to use as a business phone, but for personal use when you do not need to be available 24X7 this works great! You also get a great excuse when you don't want to answer someone, later you can say... "Sorry, I was not in WIFI zone...", you can even put that in your answering message. This setup would be great for students who live on campus where they have free access to the campus WIFI network (many of them provide free open WIFI all over campus). All these for $0 a month plus the cost of the phone.

If you feel you need capability to make calls from anywhere in case of emergencies, or for 24X7 availability, then just activate the phone and pay the $25/month. You would get many other benefits which would make this device a very capable business phone. I've read that once activated, you can install an app to make the phone a WIFI hub for up to 4 or 5 devices (supposedly there is an app for that, :-) pun intended, in the android market). This would provide internet service to your WIFI based laptop anywhere. I will investigate this more if/when I activate the phone. I have to admit, it would be fun to be able to go on trips and have internet in the car for my kids ipod touches or laptops while we are on the road. The more they can entertain themselves, the less "are we there yet?, are we there yet?" questions we will get... :-)

Summarizing, if you activate the phone, you get unlimited texting, phone web browsing, tv watching, internet radio, etc. + unlimited internet based calls using the provided unlimited data service + internet for your computer/ipod touches anytime/anywhere. All these for $25/month? Sweeeet! I don't think any carrier can beat that, the closer unlimited everything plan is cricket for $55/month for an android or blackberry phone. ATT, Verizon, etc? $70 and up... Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint 3G network, so, it's coverage (at least here in Houston) is pretty good.

I hope you find this useful.

Enjoy!'

Natural Sunscreen - organic, sunblock

I just returned from a 14 day cruise where I spent hours out in the sun without getting burned. Before I left town, I picked up a bottle of Murad Waterproof Sunblock-SPF30. This sunscreen is the best I have ever tried. It offers maximum protection with a once a day application. This product smells great probably due to the pomegranate antioxidants. It also controls the shine that some other sunscreens often leave behind. It even offers protection against wrinkles! This sunscreen was the first in not causing my skin to breakout with blemishes. Murad Age-Proof Suncare Waterproof Sunblock, SPF 30, 3: Hydrate/Protect, 4.3 fl oz (125 ml)

I have very fair skin that tends to be oily, so it was impossibly to find a good sunscreen. My criteria: SPF 30 (broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection), didn't make me feel greasy, didn't smell like sunscreen, and could be reapplied without getting tacky or sticky. After spending way too much money trying to find "the perfect sunscreen" and always being disappointed, I found this. The price is reasonable, it doesn't smell like sunscreen (you can only smell a hint of it if you sniff really close) but instead like pomegranate, it has UVA/UVB broad-spectrum protection, it doesn't feel sticky or greasy, and I can reapply it several times--even on my face--and not feel gross. This sunscreen is a lifesaver, and now I am much less sun-phobic. It has antioxidants in addition to the sunscreen, so in addition to protecting yourself from a sunburn you are also strengthening your skin.

I spend a lot of time outdoors and I burn if I'm not wearing sunscreen. My skin is normal, although a little sensitive, and I'm cautious about what I put on my face since I was very acne-prone as an adolescent. I know that I need to protect my skin, so I've tried a lot of cheap sunscreens that I grab at the drugstore on my way to the beach. I've never been happy with any of them, but just assumed that they all washed off in the ocean and made me feel oily (even the oil-free, waterproof kinds!) But then I borrowed a friend's Murad Waterproof Sunblock earlier this year and I loved it! It left my skin feeling soft and smooth and healthy, not oily! And it smelled great, too! I quickly bought my own, and took it with me on a week long bike tour this past summer. I never burned once! I used it on my entire body and never once did I feel oily or dirty, and it didn't run off my face when I sweat either. My husband loves it too, and it's very hard to get him to put on sunscreen! I'm so happy that I've found this sunblock! I will never have to try another brand again!

Living in the desert SW, it is absolutely NECESSARY to have a great sunscreen. At last I have found it... I never go around with a red peeling nose anymore! Amazing how effective this Murad product really is!

This is not a mate finish sunscreen at all, it is oily and smells like the the cheapest sunblock in the market, the worst thing about it is it does not protect you from the sun using it you get burn and red. So if you are locking for a mate finish sunscreen for your face this is not for you. I would give it one more start if at least it would protect me from the sun, but it is not even good for that. bad sunblock, bad smell, bad finish

I've been using Murad Waterproof sunblock for a few months now and am so happy I decided to invest in it. I am of West African descent, and in the past, have had trouble finding sunscreens that do not leave white, filmy residue, melt into my eyes when in the sun, or alert people to its presence on my skin with its "beachy" scent. I would also still get burned no matter how faithful I was to my skin care routine.

I just wanted a sunblock that worked as well as my face and body creams - no fuss, no muss. This one has more than delivered. My skin has actually benefited from it - it is as smooth and clear as when I use my regular body cream. I also use the Oil-Free Sunblock (SPF 15) on my face and my facial skin has never looked so good in the summer. A word of caution to people of color - beware of the Sheer Tint version because it will leave a tint on your face.

Overall, no oily residue (I have normal-dry skin) or shine, great results and well worth the money. - Sunscreen - Sunblock - Organic - Sun Protection'

I debated on different makes and models then chose this one thinking it would do the job. Well - I'm impressed - this is a very solid well made product that appears as though it will stand up to it's purpose for years to come. Cuts holes cleanly, no pounding to get it through several sheets - it justs cuts like a hot knife through warm butter - very pleased.

I recommend this make and model - you will like it. Steve Sparco SPR01796 Heavy-Duty Adjustable 9/32" 3-Hole Punch

For what I paid for this product, I have been pleasantly surprised. I was worried it would break immediately, given that comparable products were selling for at least four or five times as much. But it has worked really well for me (but I have only owned it for a few months). I would say I usually punch about 30 pages at a time. For that, it is a great product at a great price.

I was concerned that this might not be a well constructed piece of equipment due to it's modest price, but was I ever wrong! This is an excellent and well-made item that works perfectly and at it's price, you can't ask for more. I'd recommend it to anyone with no hesitation!

It is always nice to purchase a product that actually performs the task for which you purchased it for. It is also nice to purchase a product that has glowing reports from other reviewers and find that the enthusiastic endorsements have not been overly stated and that they are absolutely correct...no reviewer inflation here!

This punch is an absolute workhorse and is extremely well made. There are features to this particular punch that should be noted:

It can, as several have stated, handle stacks of at least 20 standard sheets of paper. It should also be noted that it can handle thicker paper, such as construction paper, light boards and plastic document protectors, cards and other material with ease.

It has a very nice tray at the bottom to catch the punched holes, but unlike many other models I have used, this one actually hold to the main body of the punch quite well and is not constantly falling off, creating a horrid mess. It is easy to remove and empty and is a snap to place back on the punch.

This item is heavy when compared to other punches. This may cause difficulties for some, but for my money, this is a big plus as it is not constantly sliding all over the place.

The machine is preset right out of the box, but adjusting measurements for the holes is an easy chore.

There is little or no maintenance (Other than emptying the tray when needed from time to time).

The action is easy and actually requires very little force. The cuts in the paper are extremely clean and extremely precise.

It should be noted that you can buy three hole punches much cheaper; I unfortunately have done just that on a couple of occasions in the past. This, for me, was "penny wise, a pound foolish." I could have actually saved quite a bit of money simply for forking out a few more bucks for this thing to begin with rather than having to continually replace these things.

This is a well built machine which should last me the rest of my life-time. I use it for various hobbies as well as my work.

Purchased this as a replacement for a similar product that had broken return springs for the punches. This is stamped metal rather than cast, however, it functions very well - is very easy to adjust and use. It was half the price of the previous punch and should last at least as long. Excellent product for the price.

After struggling for quite some time with a 3-hole punch that wouldn't work and ended up having no bottom to catch the shards, I gave in and purchased this punch. I absolutely love how strong it is, the increased number of pages I can punch at a time, and how easy it is to press down because of the wider top.

Everything that was wrong with the previous punch is now right with this one. It probably sounds kind of weird to be this excited about a three-hole punch, but in my line of work I download and print a lot of material to keep in various three-ring binders. Therefore, I need something strong and easy to use that I can keep near my desk. This is the one!

A three hole punch is a necessity in any home or office setting and this was one of the first office instruments I got. It still works great. I can attest that it works great and has lasted a long time. It's well built and after all these years still punch holes without any problem. There is no squeaking unlike a cheaper hole punch I had bought. I just works great and the price is a killer! Get this one for sure!'
