Battery Packs - dewalt battery, 12 volt battery

I haven't had a chance to use the batteries very much so it's hard to do a good review. However, they arrived when promised and in good condition. They charged up and held the charge and seem to work just fine. They are exactly what I ordered and what I expected them to be so I'm completely satisfied with them. Pwr+ 12v 2000mah Battery Replacement for Dewalt Dc9071 De9037 De9071 De9074 De9075 Dw9071 Dw9072 Dc Dw Series Power Tool; P/N 152250-27 397745-01

I was very satisfied. The company was efficient and fast. The price was worth buying the battery as we were getting prepared to just buy a new drill as battery prices were so high. Works fine and looking forward to doing more business with the company.

DeWalt's replacement batteries are so expensive, you're better off buying a new drill. I considered that, then decided to give these replacement batteries a chance at less than half the DeWalt price. True, they have a little less capacity, 2000mah as opposed to 2400mah, but they work great, and are the cost effective solution if you have a drill that's in good shape with dead batteries. - Dewalt Battery - 18 Volt - 12v - 12 Volt Battery'

Fan Controller - v8, core i7

When I got this Cooler, (Being in the big box that it is) I was very ecstatic knowing that it will solve my cooling problems. Now to be honest, this wasn't the ONLY product I bought to reach my goal. I paired this with a Cooler Master CM690 case that includes a front fan and a back fan (+ 2 fans for the top) for max airflow.

My situation was that I had a Micro-ATX case with a Quad Core, an 8800 GT (The hot hot GPU), two HDD's and a tv tuner smacked right close to the Graphics Card. You can imagine what kind of MESS it made. My temps were 63C on 8800 GT and 50C on the Quad Core, Which is a Phenom 9500. Ambient temperatures were near the 50's and all of it - ON IDLE! My comp shuts off without notice when playing games that use both the CPU and the GPU semi intensive to Intensive.

Now on to the Cooler; this cooler is HUGE. Not too heavy, but it's definitely big. The cooler that I had (Stock), could fit 6 times in this baby. It's only an inch away from the side panel, where I was planning to attach another fan but the performance of this cooler really brings no need for this.

I will say that it's a bit tricky to install. For you AMD users, you'll have to remove the existing retention bracket and install the one that comes with it, and also a supporter at the back of the motherboard. One thing's for sure - READ THE MANUAL. One thing they don't tell you is that you have to flip the Motherboard upside down while the cooler is in place to fasten the back supporter. Definitely tricky to install. I took an example from 3D GAME MAN on his youtube. Definitely helps if you need visual explanation. To top it off they added a nice red LED light inside.

The Results;

Previous Setup w/o V8

CPU IDLE 52 C

CPU LOAD 65 C

GPU IDLE 60 C

GPU LOAD 75 C

New Setup With V8

CPU IDLE 32 C

CPU LOAD 40 C

GPU IDLE 55 C

GPU LOAD 63 C

Conclusion; So this is on a fairly decent setup. My Phenom is OC'd to 2.6 Ghz and the temp budges a few degrees but not much. This type of cooler doesn't quite live up to its potential on this type of CPU, but I can assure you that dropping your CPU temperature by 20 Degrees does wonders in the overall ambient temperatures. WONDERS I say! This is because there's a point where the 8800 GT's fan starts to make a lot of noise. This is when it exceeds 65C. If you manage to keep it below this temperature, it won't make a noise. This is another bonus when dropping the ambient temperature and i'm glad I waited till Amazon got this baby back in stock, it was worth the wait! Cooler Master V8 Nickel Plated Copper Base Aluminum Fins 8 Heatpipes Core i7 1366 CPU Cooler - (RR-UV8-XBU1-GP)

Pros: Well built, good mounting Hardware, included two thermo compounds. Works nicely, keeps i7 very cool with little noise. Fits in my Antec Mini p180 case with almost an inch to spare.

Cons: Bad instructions, Showed air flow to be opposite of what it really was (so I had choice of removing heatsink, or taking out fan and reversing it, cost me an hour, I recommend you test the air flow direction before installing if you can). Some of the screws go in clock wise, some counter clock wise, Instructions don't show this well, and threads go messed up trying to screw them in the normal way.

Bought this CPU cooler for a new build. It's sitting atop an Intel Core i7 920. With the CPU under load, core temps only reach into the low 40 celsius range. Cooler Master includes everything you need to bolt this guy on, whether you are Socket 775 or 1366.

Initially I opted for a liquid-cooling option for my CPU, but after reading countless discussions online over the benefit, the bottom-line conclusion aws that for the most part - modern air cooling is sufficient for the CPU and liquid-cooling is overkill for the CPU and the budget.

Thus brings me to the Cooler Master V8. This thing is G-A-R-G-A-N-T-U-A-N. I never knew such a large CPU cooler could exist. Shortly after ordering this cooler I started to get nervous about whether or not this cooler could fit inside of my Antec P183 Advanced Super Mid Tower Shell Case. After careful measurements I came to the conclusion it would not. However I would still try. It came quickly and I installed it on top of my Core i7-920. I recommend help when installing this beast onto your machine. I ended up doing it myself but for a proper seating, you would need someone to hold the motherboard down as you clamp this thing on.

After my struggle placing the cooler on, only then did I realize how large this thing was -- just sitting on my board like a tumor. I was feeling giddy and rushed to lock my motherboard back into my case. --Then i flicked on the power-switch and stared and awed at the cooler as it emitted a faint red glow.

The cooler comes with a little module for adjusting the fan speed, it should be noted that there's an attached nut that you have to remove to the knob then replace it in order to secure it to the panel.

Pros

Support for Core i7 Socket

Highly recommended for overclocking

Fan-speed controller is on the back of the machine (Some may see this as a con though)

Thermal compound included

Cons

Terrible instructions

Pros:

Keeps my i7 920 cool below 69 degrees C (realtemp.exe) under 100% load, Prime 95 stress test, 8 threads, maximum burn, 3 hours. Ambient temperature 78 F. The processor is overclocked to 3.41 ghz, stock voltages. I used Artic Silver 5, applied as per instructions on AS5 website, and a Cooler Master HAF 932. My mobo is an EVGA X58 the A1 variant, with Vista 64 SP1.

It looks good with the red led, and the "V8" logo. It is also very quiet even when the fan turned up to high.

Cons:

Frankly, I expected better cooling, reading the reviews here and on another site. But the problem with user reviews is you don't exactly know their test settings are, ie ambient temperature, case, motherboard, tim, and especially what "full load" or "load" means to them. And no, sorry, Crysis, Steam, and iTunes and an AIM client at the same time isn't full load (especially on the i7). You really need a synthetic like Prime 95 or Orthos to really burn it, for comparisons.

Of course this is my first i7, so I don't have any personal comparisons. But my E8400 ran much cooler 60 degrees max with the a TRUE and it was clocked at 3.8ghz. So maybe i7's just really run hot. Besides at 3.41 ghz I score a 40,000+ on 3dmark Vantage CPU score, which definitely must be a fluke since the top system globally is an i7 965 @ 4.4ghz with a cpu score of only 27,000+. But I've done it four times and I get the same score on average with standard deviation of less than 0.05%, so okay, I'll take it.

The installation was a bit tedious. It is probably best done with two people. And the screws on the stand-offs also needs to be turned counter-clockwise, something not exactly specified on the manual, which can be frustrating. Finally, the manual I received had the picture wrong. The unit has to be mounted with the V8 right side up with the case standing up, not upside down as shown, so the fan will blow from right to left, outside your case.

Other thoughts:

Cooler Master has the exact measurements on their website. So you can look at that if you're wondering if it will fit your case.

I am kinda wishing I had just bought another TRUE 120. But now I am saving for a Koolance liquid cooling system. I just want to beat 4.0 ghz, thats all. - Computer Fans - Core I7 - Cooling - V8'

Contractor Supply - utility knives, folding

ok, i insulated my entire roof area a while back, and i went through about six utility knives, because first i was laying them down on roof joists when i needed to put them down after cutting the pink stuff. and then i couldn't find them because i probably insulated over it or kicked it somewhere. and i kept having to go get another one. so i started trying to stick the knife in my pants pocket. (i don't have a shirt pocket - i'm a girl thing.) so that wound up with the knife cutting holes in my belly, so i turned it around and poked holes in my leg. and i'm wondering, is this really necessary? (and i didn't have a jacket pocket either because it was 100+ degrees up there. only reason i was wearing clothes at all was because of the dirt.)

so way later, i don't know how i ran across this bessey folding knife on amazon, but i buy tools on amazon from time to time so probably they just popped it up. and i just said, yeah, it folds! can put in my pants pocket without stabbing me! woo hoo! and also i saw that the blades just pop out instead of having to unscrew something, and even though i didn't know i needed that function, once i saw it i knew it was a great thing because don't you sometimes work with a dull blade because it's just such a pain to change the blade?

actually, i had tried another folding utility knife sold by a place where i buy car stuff, but it was garbage and i threw it away. so i was very pleased when i got this one and it was like the tyrannosaurus rex of utility knives. it chunks and unchunks when you fold and unfold it, and it is solid and feels like it will never fall apart. also the function where you can instantly eject and reverse or change the blade is very handy. i will never work with a dull blade again. and it feels great in your hand.

i went to my dad's over christmas - he is a 72 year old ex marine vietnam veteran. we built him his first computer while i was there. we used this knife (which i carry in my purse) to cut open all of the boxes for the computer parts. then i was going to teach him how to order stuff on amazon, and i said "what do you want?" he said "get me that knife." also, he borrowed it from me and took it to his coffee with his military guys. Bessey D-BKWH Quick-Change Folding Utility Knife - Wood Grain Handle

I really like this knife. I love these folding utility knives since you never have to worry about sharpening a blade. The blade gets dull, just change it. The quick change feature seems to really work. I feel like I have a very good quality knife that looks pretty good. I am quite pleased with it.

I bought my dad and husband the Bessey DBKPH Quick-Change Folding Utility Knife - PVC Handle with 5 Blade Storage Compartment which they absolutely love. The main difference between the two is that this one is much nicer looking and is a little heavier (1 1/8 oz). The one I got my dad and husband doesn't look quite as nice, but it does have a compartment that holds 5 extra blades. Because of that, it is quite a bit bulkier. If you are considering a folding utility knife, I would definitely recommend one of these two. Just figure out what you want, and decide which one fits your needs better.

I've been a big fan of these folding utility knives for as long as they've been around. This one is absolutely amazing. Truly "Buck knife" quality in a folding utility knife.

You can't even begin to see the quality in the picture - I was really surprised when I got it in the mail. Heavy aluminum frame with nice polished wood accent.

Everyone should have one of these!

I've owned a TON of utility knives in my search for the "ONE"...sadly, this wasn't it and I'm dumbfounded by all the positive reviews here on this site. This knife lasted all about 5 minutes and literally broke the first time I used it -- cutting up the Amazon box it came in. The head on the bolt that holds the body of the knife together sheared right off and now it's a wobbly/useless mess. I'm too busy/lazy to fuss with the RMA to send this back, so I'll retire it to my drawer of other misfit utility knives. I can also confirm that this knife is way too heavy to carry in a pocket all day. FYI...my current go-to knife is the Stanley 10-816L matched with a Bucket Boss 54042 knife holder, but still looking...

best utility knife I Have ever purchased, It has a very sleek and strong design, and the quick change makes it a plus!+++ its smaller than your regular long, slip out,(not to mention dealing with a screw to just put a blade in) utility knife because it folds. The weight to it make you feel like you have a really good quality tool in your hands... And thats because it is!!!!

Fabulous knife I use it everyday at work and it still looks brand new. IT ALSO IS MADE VERY WELL AND HOLDS UP TO THE TUFFIST OF CONDITIONS. I even dropped it several times and it hardly even left a scratch on it. A must for the serious worker or homeowner who needs a good knife.

We bought a new house, and the packing was well under way when I came across the Bessey D-BKWH folding utility knife. I have inexpensive utility knives for the occasional drywall repair job and assorted odd jobs. However a folding knife seemed more useful on moving day and the following days spent unpacking.

Like typical utility knives, this one uses a standard angled tip blade. Unlike the typical knife, the Bessey folds like a quality switchblade including a safety to prevent accidental closing. Weighing 6.2 ounces, it has a nice weight and is shaped for comfortable use. A clip on the side permits storing the utility knife on your belt or is small enough to fit in a jean's pocket.

Most standard utility knifes require disassembling the handle to get the blade and reassembling back to a usable state. This is not a difficult task, but is much easier on the Bessey D-BKWH folding utility knife. Simply open the blade, flip the security latch on the top, and slide the blade cover down. With full access, flip or replace the blade, then reverse the previous steps holding the blade cover in place with your thumb.

As for moving, this folding utility knife was an excellent choice for me. With everything going on and my inability to stay in one place, keeping track of the knife was easy. I would use it, then store at my side. Even though we are pretty much unpacked now, I still use my Bessey instead of my other utility knives. This is an excellent quality utility knife worth purchasing.

PROS:

Quality construction

Handsome appearance

Simple blade changing

No storage for extra blades - Razor Blade - Utility Knives - Box Cutter - Folding'

Leather Belt

I'm a 32 inch waist in just about everything and when I ordered I read that it said to go one size up (which I did, to 34)

Except when I got it it literally can go in one or two buckle holes before i feel like i'm in pain.

I think they way they size it is that 32 means it will touch tip-to-tip around a 32 in waist. Definitely go up 2-3 sizes when ordering.

Also, the leather is extremely rough and takes a very long time to form/bend. Danbury Men's 1 1/2" Basic Bridle Leather Work Belt,Black,34

This belt is a bit thinner than I expected, but it is nice otherwise. The grain is smooth and color consistent. Buckle feels a little cheap, but looks good and does the job. Good value for the money- went ahead and bought one in black too. I usually buy 34-36" waist in pants and the 38" belt is perfect. It cinches on the third hole, which gives just enough extra length to put the end through the loop on the belt and pants without being too long.

I purchased this belt to wear my "hippy" jeans - notice I didn't say "hippie"! I'm female and even though it's a men's belt, the size (34) and style are perfect as just a basic brown belt. After a few weeks of wear, it's softened up a bit and isn't quite as stiff as it was on day-1. Good value for the money.

Great simple, clean, strong belt, well done. I saw recommendations in "sizing" help and some reviewers say get 1, 2 or 3 sizes larger than what you need, and this is (currently) not correct, I ordered one 1 size larger (34), and the incorrect size (36) arrived and it was 2 sizes too large. Ordered a 32", perfect. The measurements are exact.

Finally!I tried ordering a few months back only to be sold out,now I have it.It's exactly what I wanted, and where I live I can't find one like it.When I was looking for one,I read reviews and this one had the criteria I want mine to have.I needed one for holding knife and machete sheaths, and durability is top priority with a close second going to appearance when it's not being used as a sheath holder. With the leather care products Amazon hooked me up with, this belt will last me awhile before I need to think about a replacement.I've always chose ones two sizes bigger to accomodate thicker setups like multiple pants. As always, thank you Amazon for the big help in this department.'

Gun Training - guns, concealed carry

This book is a very down-to-earth guide to selecting the best handgun type and caliber for an individual to carry for self-defense. Holsters, combat tactics, and local laws are not discussed, but that isn't the point of the book. Wiley Clapp is a very respected gun writer, a former U.S. Marine and law enforcement officer. His opinion is rather heavily weighted towards larger calibers of handguns, and rightly so. However, he approaches all of the myriad makes and models of handguns objectively. Part of his book does cover the ballistics and physics of different handgun calibers in simple terms. This makes it easier for people who are unfamiliar with guns to understand what exactly it is that makes a gun or bullet truly lethal. The author provides precise measurements of size and weight of all the popular models of pistols, allowing the reader to get an idea of just how light(or heavy!) some handguns can be. This book seems to have been written to those who are new to handguns, but even seasoned gun lovers will enjoy reading this excellent guide. Concealed Carry: The Shooter's Guide to Selecting Handguns

While this text may be beneath the experienced shooter, it was what I needed. My wife and I were selecting a handgun for concealed carry and, being novice shooters, we felt like Wiley Clapp was personally walking us through the selection process. We were better informed and knew what to look for before we walked in to make a purchase. Mr Clapp stresses the positives of each firearm presented along with some of the negatives while maintaining a focus on his main subject: Concealed Carry. His final chapter covers his personal favorites/recommendations. Only recommendation that I felt was not stressed in the text was to try and find a way to fire different guns before making a purchase. Text is easy to read and flows well. Chapters are sorted logically by subject (size/type of handguns). Would have liked color pictures but the BW images are effective and in keeping with the "get to the point," no nonsense nature of the book.

Concealed Carry: The Shooter's Guide To Selecting Handguns by firearms authority Wiley Clapp is a straightforward, accurate, no-nonsense guide to the practical matter of choosing and legally carrying a concealed handgun. Discussing the various attributes of handguns ranging from small automatics to large revolvers, and enhanced throughout with black-and-white photographs, Concealed Carry is a highly practical and methodical guide which is especially recommended to the non-specialist general reader with an interest in lawfully acquiring a handgun for personal protection and/or recreation.

This might have been a good book in 1999, when the author wrote it. Despite its 2002 copyright date, the original printing was 2000, and most of it was written in the 1990s and not updated. So, if you want a detailed look at what guns were available almost 10 years ago, this is it. If you want up-to-date information on CC handguns, this is a waste of money. The other is highly opinionated, and won't even discuss smaller caliber guns, so it's 9mm Luger and up only, folks. Also, many of the models he discusses in detail are no longer made (or are made by other manufacturers now) and many of the very best, most advanced and up-to-date guns aren't covered here because they didn't exist. Overall, this is a historical piece only. It is badly in need of a new edition, and not a quick makeover, but a ground-up rewrite. $16.50 for what you get is too much. There are far better, more up-to-date books out there on the subject.

I recently obtained my CCW permit. After spending about $1,000 on pistols that don't fill my need, I purchased one of the recommended pistols. I just wish I had read this book sooner.

The book discusses everything you need to know about your purchase of a concealed weapon.

Quite disappointing. I guess someone who knows nothing at all about firearms would get something out of it but for anyone with the least bit of experience in using guns this is not worth the effort. I thought some of the information was off target (pun intended). Photos did not match captions in some instances. The same old dogma about .45 caliber being the best choice. And, yes, the photo on the cover is Wiley Clapp's favorite snubnose revolver--despite the vast number of other reviewers who report you risk nerve damage in your hand by shooting magnum loads in such a lightweight handgun.

Oh, well....

Wiley Clapp is very experienced with firearms, as he has a military and law enforcement background; he's also been a 'gunwriter' for several major firearms magazines for many years, and he writes better than most.

Overall this is a very good book on the subject of choosing handguns for concealed carry duty, but its helpfulness depends on the reader's prior knowledge. This book seems mostly aimed at those who are new to firearms in general or concealable handguns in particular. If you fall into one of those categories, you'll probably learn some valuable things and get good food for thought for your firearm selection process. If, on the other hand, you're reasonably familiar with handguns, you won't learn very much. (About the only thing I really took away from this book that was new for me was Clapp's argument that a compact revolver often conceals better than a similarly compact automatic, because the revolver, despite its greater girth, has an irregular profile/outline, whereas the auto is blocky and generally has a lot of straight lines and right angles that can show more through clothing. I'd never thought of it that way before, but it makes sense and practical experimentation bears it out.)

One more weakness with the book: Because he focuses a lot on specific models, rather than just on general types and characteristics, the book runs the risk of becoming dated within a few more years. (The book's already 5 years old, and gun companies discontinue old models and add new ones every year -- often excessively so.) Still, on balance, this is a good book. - Concealed Carry - Handgun - Guns - Firearms'

This is a beatifully made suit of fine materials at an unbelieveably good price. True quality. It fits my 46R husband beautifully. i told him it was a good looking suit but he ignored me until he saw a picture of himself in it and exclaimed, "That is a good looking suit! "Couldn't be happier. I'm telling everyone i see about it. Thank You!!! Signature Collection 3 Button 2pc Mens Suit Italian Tropical Light Weight Fabric Super 140s Hand Tailored Year Round Use Business Suit Charcoal Gray (44 Regular)

The tailoring was very good (a 46R fit me very nicely without alterations), the fabric is superb, and the customer service is very good. I've recommended this company to several people already. I'm very impressed.

This is a great suit, worth the price. Looks much more expensive. Many people have commented on it. The only negative is that one of the buttons is kinds loose on the pants. That's to be expected though, not everything is perfect...I'll take a loose button any day considering what other things could have gobe wrong. Again, great suit - worth the money!'

As the previous reviewer pointed out, the Amazon sizing chart will definitely steer you wrong. I will be returning these for the next smaller size. Here are the actual sizes:

Small are 30-32 (not 28-30)

Medium are 34-36 (not 32-34)

Large are 38-40 (not 36-38)

XL are 42-44 (not 40-42)

XXL are 46-48 (not 44-46) Fruit of the Loom Men's Boxer Briefs 4 Pack, Black/Grey, Medium

I bought these boxer briefs with Amazon.com as the seller. The merchant sizing chart says "Large = 36-38 waist." That's how my BodyGlove and Van Heusen boxer-briefs are specified as well, but FOL... says "Large = 38-40"!

So these boxer briefs turned out a little loose, made worse by the fact that I fall between the medium and large sizes. And after wearing one for just one day, it already seems a little looser than at the start... not quite the second-skin fit I get from my BodyGloves all day (but the BGs are half-spandex or something).

I would have traded them in for the medium size, maybe I still will... Considering FOL's medium is a little larger than the other brands, maybe that is just right for me :-)

FYI, *all* of FOL's sizes appear larger than the Amazon.com sizes by 2".

Fruit of the Loom, gotta love 'em! These bad boys provide first-class testicular support. They sit comfortably in the soft cotton fabric structure Fruit of the Loom has made famous. Only the best for my balls and I!

Sizing for Men's Boxer Briefs on Amazon Sizing Chart Not Accurate-Please Read On!

I normally wear a size 32 inch waist in Hanes Briefs and Boxers

and wear a size 32 in Abercrombie @ Fitch Briefs and Boxer Briefs too.

So I am not sure what happened with this size chart as I bought the 4 Pack of Boxer Briefs from Fruit of the Loom. They were on sale and I did not want to miss a bargain.

I have been writing a great and helpful book for guys and girlfriends about grooming tips for men. I'm so glad I checked out the Fruit of the Loom underwear as I found they are too big for the size listed.

I needed to order a Small from them and instead ordered the size for a 32-in this case a medium. I tried them on and they looked okay but seemed big. My girlfriend said she would wash them first so I took them off and went back to work. Next day I tried on the Boxer Briefs, the blue one from the pack, and they were still too large.

I have given reviews in my new book (that has not come out yet as I need plenty more information from helpful people-so contact me if you are interested at azmodelsearch@gmail.com)for all types of clothing for guys and a chapter on how to find the ultimate underwear for yourself or as a gift for someone. It is 100% accurate so far!

I ordered only 1 new package of the Fruit of the Loom Boxer Briefs. however this time they were in a size Small. When I got the packaged I tossed them on and went out for the evening. Could not believe how comfortable these underwear are for the price. The cotton quality is GREAT and is a soft blended cotton that will keep you warm.

I SENT A LETTER TO Fruit Underwear and will update them monthly if there are responses here. Thanks.d

I too find it strange to write a review for underpants.

I wish I had the reviews, I would have ordered XXL instead of XL. The underwear fit is too snug, and thus will not wear well. Even worse, their are oddly placed seams that travel the back of the garment on both sides. I've only worn these briefs for a brief time as I am writing this, I don't think I could stand wearing them for much more. If you have any sort of full buttock, these briefs will leave seam lines at best, maybe rub you raw at the worst.

Ugh! Never going to buy unseen clothes online for a long time after this fail.

Right out of the package they fit fairly well. I wasn't expecting perfection for the relatively inexpensive price, but the fact that the bottoms of the legs were extremely loose after wearing them only once is a huge disappointment. I can see some slight stretching, but after wearing them once they went from snug to having over 1.5 inches of extra room at the thigh. Washing & drying brought the size back down slightly but did not last.

I won't be buying any more.

I can't believe I am reviewing underwear but since I bought these boxer briefs I always wear them before I will wear any other underwear in my drawer. They are really comfortable and support even me well : ) . I think I will be ordering another 4 pack so I can wear them every day of the week. My girlfriend loves them. Good luck!!!

Seams on the rear make for uncormfortable sitting and gives a person with a rear end have a super wedge.

Also not supportive in other spots that need it.

The leg coverage is shorter than product pictured. - Boxer - Boxers - Boxer Briefs - Clothing'
