Unlocked Blackberry Storm - tmobile, t-mobile

I purchased this for use in an unlocked iPhone and found that it activated smoothly via the on-line instructions and was preloaded with a few dollars for minutes. This was welcome, because I was then able to test the signal and verify that I could make calls on the T-Mobile network. What's more, as of 11/2010, T-Mobile offers a pay-as-you-go data package for $1.49/24h on their Edge network. With about $20 put into the card on-line, I can travel and use both data and talk minutes without a contract or any recurring payments. Previously, I was using the ATT GoPhone service, but ATT cut out all of their roaming partners, so coverage is abysmal in rural areas.

I'm purchasing a second T-Mobile SIM tonight for my wife.

Beware. Don't buy the other Amazon T-Mobile SIM for "unactivated replacement." This SIM is only for replacing an existing lost SIM and is not for activating new accounts. T-Mobile USA (Tmobile T Mobile) SIM Card and Prepaid Activation Kit

If you're looking for a SIM card to use on your unlocked iPhone 4 you've found it. This has never been activated so you will get a new number once activated. Only takes a couple minutes and you're off and using your iPhone 4 on the T-Mobile network. With the new 24 hour data plan available on T-Mobile you can't go wrong. Plus, it's still the GSM iPhone and not the CDMA iPhone 4 being offered with the Verizon network. This SIM card is exactly what you're looking for to use for your unlocked iPhone 4.

Received the sim card on time. I have a GSM phone from India and this card works with my phone. I was able to activate it online and then load the card with minutes.

I would recommend this sim for someone who wanted an easy to use prepaid card with no contract. It should definitely work on any GSM phone. The coverage for T-mobile is also very good.

Thanks to the seller.

I just want to add (since I didn't find this info from the other reviews) that this kit does include an activation code as well as an unactivated SIM card. The activation code allows you to have a new phone number or transfer an existing tmobile phone number to the SIM card. I used my motorola phone to establish a prepaid plan for my mom who only needs it for emergency use. Put in the SIM card, activated it, got a new number along with 10 extra minutes from the kit. Just don't use the prepaid phone to call to activate the SIM card. Use someone else's phone or a landline to call in to activate. The process took about 10 minutes and now my mom's set with a phone read to use! Super easy to set up! A Tmobile retail store would have charged me $25 to set this up! Freakin rip off compare to this online purchase!

Simple answer to a simple question... all you need is an unlocked cell phone and this sim card in hand. It took me literally less than 15 minutes to get a working phone. Following the given instructions, I was able to activate the sim card on the T-Mobile website, add more value to it (the sim card comes with $3.34 on it for immediate use) and voila! The new phone number was given instantaneously! No need to wait, not even 5 minutes...

One small detail that I couldn't find: when are the minutes expiring? I guess that I will need to see a T-Mobile guy sometime soon...

I do not understand why some folks have a problem with this product. It took a total of about 5 minutes to activate my phone. I went to the T-Mobile website, filled in the information that they asked for, and instantly my phone was activated and ready to use. It did not require any of the prepaid minutes that came with the sim card. I was asked if I wanted to buy more minutes, which I did, and started using my phone immediatley. I have never did anything that was so easy before. I highly recommend this sim card activation kit from T-Mobile.

It's easy to activate.

Few minutes after received it I was talking by my new T-Mobil cell phone line.

There are several prepaid plans for text, data and unlimited calls.

No contract!! Pay month to month via online...

Mini Projector - portable projectors, pico projector

The qumi is an awsome little projector. I am currently using it to project an 80" picture in my bedroom and I have alot of ambient light and the picture still looks awsome. It is great that it has a bunch of connections and that vivitek includes a mini-hdmi to hdmi, a mini-hdmi to mini-hdmi and a vga connector. My only negative is that those cables are really short less than a foot. If you are looking for a projector I would get one of these right away. Vivitek Qumi Q2 300 Lumen WXGA HDMI 3D-Ready Pocket DLP Projector (White)

Let's just say I have own an Optoma HD65, due to the lamp and power outages around here, I've opted for an LG HX300(G). I was able to live with it fine and dandy but wanted something around 720p instead of 1080p. I don't need 1080p to live since most of the stuff I watch are from Netflix or YouTube. 720p is enough for HD quality and everything else that I do.

Then I researched for more LED projectors and ran into LG HW300 and Qumi Q2. To be honest I would've gone with the LG HW300 for the DLNA so I could stream videos/musics easier without bunch of cables around my room and in my closet.

As for the Qumi Q2, the 300 lumens is enough for me. I can live with it since the LG HX300 is about the same but I would have to say the Q2 is slightly brighter. My only major gripe is having to buy adapters for my HDMI cable and component (still need to find an adapter for it). No accessories/adapters for other video inputs (for example the Wii).

The menu is really really basic. Can't calibrate much at all. Cannot change R, G, B to suit the situation. The presettings were ok. Brightness was way too saturated but not too bad for me.

Now for the good stuff, pixels are much more less noticeable when compared to the LG HW300, thanks to the increase pixels. Videos played nicely no stutter, no rainbow effect that I could notice, and the fan was not too bad (bad during silent scenes).

**One little trouble, I had a defective one prior to this review. The red led was broken or something because Mario's red under clothing was pure black. So did other images and videos where red didn't show up. Amazon was willing to replace it without any hassle. Thank you Amazon. Vivitek took awhile to respond but I took up on Amazon's offer because they were much more speedier in their replies.

Overall though, I am pleased with the product.

Update- After using it for like 2 weeks. I'm actually getting quite frustrated with the projector. It appears that after shutting off the projector and turning it back on later, you are required to refocus again. If you are using it as a dedicated theater and mounted on the ceiling, you literally have to climb up every time, turn the focus wheel and not turn it off ever again. That's very inconvenient and a major flaw for me. I wish Vivitek would address something on this issue other than telling us to just refocus when it reaches operational temperature.

Update 8/27/11- I'm beginning to notice the projector is not focused in some areas strangely enough. Like along the bottom right portion of the screen is blurred out and middle left. Apparently it's a common problem. Please buy at your own discretion. Dropped it to 3 stars.

pros: Brighter than most led projectors, I have a 100" screen. HD 720p, very nice. Enough ports for a portable (You will find yourself swapping HDMI cables if you don't have a switch).

Only 1.6 lbs. NO NEED FOR LAMP REPLACEMENTS! Plays video, music, and documents from portable media fairly well (if in the right format, handbrake works pretty well for .mp4). Very good skin tones

cons: Seems to need refocused after heating up. No power button on remote, hard power switch though, so any remote controlled outlet could work. Slight green tint to black and white scenes.

comments: Very saturated colors. Super basic menu. I haven't tried the 3D functionality

Good deal for the money.

It was quite a wait for the Qumi projector, factoring in several delays due to manufacturing and Vivitek shipping misfires. But it was well worth the wait. I have an Optoma HD65 720P projector and I absolutely love it. The Optoma is bright, vibrant, and very portable. While the Qumi does not produce as large or dynamic a picture as my Optoma, it does hold its own. The Qumi is surprisingly bright for 300 lumens and the colors are very rich. The picture is sharp and clear. And the portability of the Qumi is fantastic, clearly surpassing my Optoma on that front. I have projected images from 20" to 110" and have been impressed with its delivery of content, especialy from Netflix, blu rays and DirecTV HD. I use it all over my home, yard, and deck and am very pleased with its performance. The ability to achieve 3D viewing appears to be very limited. But honestly, I didn't purchase the Qumi for that use. I wanted a mobile, big screen performance where bulb replacement, due to hours used, was no longer a concern. And the Qumi has abundantly delivered just that. And as usual, Amazon's service was IMPECABLE in the purchase of this projector. A great product and great service. Like I said............definitely worth the wait.

Great little projector. I've had it for a day and I believe you need nothing else if you are looking for a small, light and very portable projector.

300 hundred lumens is more than enough for anything you may want. A good set of connections cables (short, like 18 inches). In my case I got a 120 inches screen from 3.5 meters from the wall. Excellent quality. Only complaint is sound, but any speaker system will do the trick. I recommend this to anybody who is looking for a portable projector.

I've had it for a few weeks now, and I love it! It is my first projector so you could say maybe it's because I have nothing to compare it to. I currently have it projecting a 96" image on a screen I built using black out cloth (tutorials can be found online.) Blu Rays from my PS3 look amazing even at the resolution of 1280 x 800. I have it mounted to my ceiling with a speaker mount.

A few minor problems though. It takes about 15 minutes to reach optimal temperature to focus. So I waited 15 min. Then focus. I leave it at that focus setting. Next time I turn it on it is focused after 15 min. Also, it is quite difficult to get focused perfectly. It can be done, though you may notice a portion of the screen is not as focused as the rest. Not a big difference to me, though other reviewers disagree. Lastly, you really do need complete darkness for the best looking picture. Once I build my theater room in the basement I won't have to worry about that. In the living room now, I mostly use it at night anyway. And when I use it in the daytime, I put a black blanket over my large living room window and I'm good to go! For 500 bucks you can't really complain! A friend of mine has a very high end projector and screen and the difference in image quality does not equal the difference in cost in my opinion. - Portable Projectors - Led Projector - Pico Projector'

Celebrities - ebook, e-reader

I subscribe to three car magazines. Road and Track, Car and Driver, since the 50's. Automobile replaced Road and Track as I my favorite from the first issue. It has the most color photographs and the best writing of the three. Automobile (1-year auto-renewal)

I'm afraid I can't say much to recommend Automobile unless, like me, you're hopelessly addicted to cars and will read almost anything about them.

Since it's inception, Automobile has always struck me as a bit snobbish and self-satisfied. This, despite not being very interesting. Their mantra has been "No boring cars!," yet it's usually a somewhat boring magazine.

They have some really great (and funny) editorials, and tend to be more honestly critical of cars than other mags, so for that they get 2 stars. But if you want to read great car reviews, this isn't for you. They're always very short, and comparison tests are given woefully inadequate space.

In many ways that's another of Automobile's problems - it's too small.

My overall impression over the years is that they'd really like to be England's CAR magazine, and even share writers (mainly George Kacher), but just aren't that good.

Automobile magazine emerged from the creative mind of David E. Davis, Jr. who founded it in 1986 after leaving Car & Driver abruptly. Their moto: "No Boring Cars." This moto has largely succeeded. Davis left several years ago - he's in his 70's so he's entitled to slow down - and left the editorship to Ms. Jean Lindamood Jennings, also formerly of Car & Driver. Personally, I think she is brilliant, but Davis and the suits didn't agree. She assumed the position of "President," while Brit Gavin Conway joined as the new editor in chief. Jennings colum returned to it's traditional place on the back page. She is charming, sharp-witted, and just a share irreverant. Like I said, brilliant. Other notables include the incomparable Jamie Kitman and the newly discovered Ezra Dyer. Both write with a candor unmatched by any other automobile publication.

The downside: the magazine is a bit thin. They charge as much or more than other magazines for a subscription, but include less "stuff" each month. Their tech stats also pale in comparison to others. But if numbers are your thing, read Road & Track or Car & Driver. However, if you read to read, you'll love Automobile. Personally, I just subscribe to them all.

Automobile magazine is a huge letdown. Their content, which was once somewhat edgy and original, has slipped to become mundane. What is worse, however, is the fact that they have the worst customer service in the industry. I was double billed for my subscription and after 3 calls to their customer service team, was informed that hey had no idea what I was talking about and could not fix the error. Additionally, there were 2 interruptions in my subscription, neither of which appeared to have any good reason. A few calls into customer service fixed the problem but I am definitely not buying them again. Try AutoWeek instead, or if you're more conservative, Car and Driver.

Automobile is, bar none, the best American car magazine. It reminds me of how most American magazines used to be before the downturn in printed media in the late 1990s, i.e. gorgeously produced, with unobtrusive ad placement, and totally readable. Like its closest overseas counterpart, Car, it is intelligent, pragmatic, and forward-thinking. The details on car design and news on the automotive industry are much better than in Motor Trend, Car and Driver, and Road & Track, while the columnists are smart and interesting every time. Finally, they do not hold the conceit that car mags like Car and Driver do that their purpose is to "defend" cars from crazy environmentalists who want to take them away from the red-blooded Americans. Instead, they understand that it is possible to be concerned about the environment while at the same time see no problem with burning some gasoline. They stay out of politics because it is appropriate: owning and learning about and loving cars has nothing to do with one's political affiliation and it shouldn't. The other car mags could learn a thing or two from Automobile.

Do not use this subscription service. I attempted to get a three-year renewal to Automobile magazine in August 2010, and nothing ever came. I complained in December, promises were made that a magazine would finally show up in February, but none ever came. I will get a refund from Amazon, but meanwhile I have been without one of my favorite magazines, and unable to take advantage of renewal offers that were as attractive as what was offered here. Do not get this magazine here. Get it directly from the magazine's site.

After subscribing to other car magazines I have found to be this one the best. I still receive motor trend and even though is good, it gets kind of boring at times (car and driver is almost the same). After reading Automobile at Borders I felt in love with it. The content is very refreshing, the articles are well put together, and they have sections (like the one where they analyze a new car styling) that I really enjoy and make it feel authentic. Every month, out of three car magazines i receive, this is the first one I read.

Automobile's long term tests are also the best since they actually update them online at least every week and discuss a lot of little details that only an owner will notice. Highly recommend it for anyone looking into buying a new car.

I am disappointed by Automobile...Over the course of two years they have shed about 50/60 pages of content off their magazine and it is now thinner than ever and stuffed full of ads. I was glad to not renew my Subscription

Cons:

- Very Biased (ALWAYS favor the Porsche)

- Little to no content

- Little to now actual Car News

Pros:

-Its $10 bucks

-I love the photography

Medal Of Honor - playstation 3, ea games

This game is being constantly bashed my MW2 fans. The biggest flaw in the marketing of this game was to compare it to, and suggest that its a contender to MW2. Its simply not the same game. The majority of negative reviews stem from the fact that EA touted this as a MW2 clone more or less, which got all the MW2 junkies on the bandwagon only to be depressed and angry. Its not the same. Its a completely different game, and when looked at alone, not comparitively its a solid game.

Modes:

Campaign:

Decent, but short. Great story, realistic gameplay. Sliding into cover should be incorporated in every FPS from here on out, works fantastically. There is always the opportunity to go back and try a harder difficulty.

Tier 1 Mode:

tough.........replay each mision of the campaign, with a maximum time limit, and no respawns or checkpoints..........

this trumps a veteran difficulty level where you can just figure out a route and sprint to a checkpoint then die and start right there..........

Multiplayer:

BFBC2 on smaller maps, made by the same BFBC guys, I enjoy it, I have put in about 6 hours online and its got the same issues they all have, spawn killing, campers, etc........graphically it excedes BFBC2

Bonus:

Medal of Honor Frontlines remastered (ps3 only)

I never played this before but I have been enjoying it alot. Its a solid FPS from the days before spawn killers, online, and nuke boosting.

Overall:

The campaign has some glitches, some that shouldn't have made it past testing, but oh well, there are a few in every game that comes out. The story is great. Graphics are average for the campaign, and above average, but not the best, for multiplayer. The online is constantly compared to MW2 which is very different, there are no "steady aim" perks that allow you to wildly spray ammo around. If you try running around you will get shot. The goal is realism, and while not perfect, it gets closer than the others. You run around a corner and a guy is crouched there, you are dead, he will see you before you get your gun up from a sprint, thats reality, but will frustrat the hell out of players that are used to running around with light step and marathon, jumping into prone and spraying dual p90's all over the screen...............

EA screwed up comparing this game to MW2, but in the end, its a decent game, two if you count frontlies, which i do because its a solid little game on its own. For me, it was worth the sixty i put out and twenty i got back in GC form. Any review that says this isn't MW2..............unless thats all you like, read on, because people that play other games will appreciate this game much more than those that think COD is all there is.............. Medal of Honor

Alright, it sucks I have to put a disclaimer in my own review, but when dealing with video games and a crowd with a large number of hairless-chest thumping Justin Biebers, the word "fanboy" gets thrown around WAY too much. I will start my review by saying I own CoD4, MW2, and now MoH. I played the BFBC2 beta, I downloaded BF 1943 when it first released on the Playstation Store, but I have never played BFBC1 or the full release of BFBC2, so I came into the latest MoH with only a slight familiarity with the feel of EA's DICE games. If anything, I'm a fanboy of Frontline, and a frequent player of MW2, but understand and appreciate the different approach EA/DICE took with MoH versus Activision with MW2.

I used to play MoH: Frontline for hours, loved the soundtrack, and pre-ordered Rising Sun, but still returned to Frontline, which stands as my favorite modern release wartime FPS (Duke Nukem 3d being my #1 all time fav). I've played MoH games long before I ever stepped foot into a Call of Duty game.

This game was hyped up like crazy. Nobody expected Treyarch to throw in the towel with Black Ops because of this game, but MoH has failed to live up to said hype. Not to say that it's a horrible game. I got tired of reading "I want a refund! I can't play online!"... It's day 1 kids, relax, be patient, play the campaign mode, do your pre-algebra homework, inspect your lip for any incoming mustache hairs, or do whatever it is 13 year olds do these days.

I pre-ordered MoH for a couple reasons. To keep me occupied until Black Ops releases (because I'm tired of MW2) and to re-live Frontline. I played the beta. It was rough, but most betas are. EA seemed to respond to a lot of the feedback so I assumed the release would be a bit more polished. It is, but only slightly.

Starting with the single player campaign:

I'm only halfway through and I've moderately enjoyed the campaign thus far, but still have a few gripes. I started on medium difficulty, thinking it'd be challenging enough to keep me entertained, but not overwhelmingly difficult. Now that I've played through this far, I'm thinking I should have just jumped on hard. I've only died once, and I'll explain why in just a minute. I have had, on multiple occasions, AI walk AROUND me to go fire at my team, leaving me completely unnoticed and unharmed as if I were invisible. As other reviewers have pointed out, the enemy can be hiding behind a soggy Kleenex and be completely safe from your fire. The environment is semi-destructible. I was able to shoot a few rounds at a stack of tires and chip off tires one by one to reveal the enemy's head (well, a teensy little bit of his turban), but the wooden crate he was hiding behind must have been filled with blocks of lead, because nothing made it through.

Even being somewhat out in the open, if the enemy fires at you, no need to run and duck for cover, just watch for the flash reports and aim for his head... trust me, you'll have time.

The only time I've died was while playing the second mission, called Breaking Bagram. We cleared and secured the airfield, but once we made it into the warehouse, the fourth guy was missing (Mother? I'm not sure who's who). So when we secure the warehouse and start making our way over to the tower, my team just holds up in the second floor of the warehouse waiting on this dude to get there, but he never shows. And at that point, the entrance to the warehouse is sealed shut. I've reloaded at the last checkpoint, everybody is accounted for, but once we get into the warehouse, he's gone... I've done this several times with no change. My teammate VooDoo waits by a door upstairs in the warehouse, so after we cleared out the warehouse I ran up to this door before VooDoo could block it and I was able to walk right through it (just like using the "idclip" cheat code in Doom (that's an old (and awesome!) computer game for you Teen Disney watchers)). After clipping through the door, I go downstairs and look outside to see nothing... literally, absolutely nothing. It's just white. I step outside and immediately fall underneath the map.. I keep falling, watching the map above me getting smaller and smaller.. then finally I smack and die and have to start allover again. I finally had to replay the entire mission to get through this level, not sure where this fourth dude kept hiding out, but he is seriously not a good wingman. Chump.

Multiplayer is, well.. an experience. I've played all available matches, mostly as Rifleman, and have an hour of online game time racked up so far and I'm already bored with the maps they keep sticking me on, especially when I play hardcore and it gives you random match types, but will put you on the same exact map 2-3 times in a row. There's only a total of like 4 maps, too. Pretty unexciting. Unless you love the taste of a sniper's bullet in your mouth, your best bet is to stay on the ground. Don't look over walls, don't hop up on buildings, crates, ladders, etc, stay low and stay covered, or else you're sniped. Even on CoD, I'm always on the move, but not a run-and-gun type player. I look around corners, I sneak behind enemies (I always get "Most time near enemies"), but this technique doesn't work here. I think the only way to produce successful numbers are sniping. I have about a 50/50% K/D ratio, so it's not that I'm horrible at this game, but seriously, MP needs some work. There's still a die-delay after being shot. Countless times I come across an enemy player and we both shoot and kill each other. I know that's possible at extreme random times, but this will happen multiple times within 1 team deathmatch round that only lasts a few minutes.

Frontline: This is at least half the reason I bought this game. Seriously, if it weren't for being able to play Frontline again, plus now I can play for trophies, I might have just taken this to GameStop and traded it for BFBC2. It's not that it's the crappiest game I've ever played (it's not, by far), but it definitely hasn't lived up to the hype. I could tough out playing MW2 until Black Ops comes out. I know a lot of it can be patched, but just because it can be doesn't mean it will be, we'll just have to hope for the best.

If you have any questions about anything I said (or didn't say), please comment and I'll address. Bottom line, this game is fun, but it's a lot of unmet hype. Get it, you'll like it as long as you keep an open mind and don't set your expectations as high as the hype told you to. It has potential to be better, it has potential to be a LOT better, but will never be game of the year material.

*EDIT* 19-Oct-2010

Ok, not so much of a review edit, but more of a heads up that I will soon be adding to this. I've been able to get more game play in, mostly on multiplayer, so I'll be able to share a bit more of my opinion on this game. In a nutshell, I'm liking it more than I did with the first few hours of play I had, but not sure I'm to the point where I'm going to change the star rating. Plus, I shared my dislikes and never really got to touch up on the likes. Stay tuned...

*EDIT* 22-Oct-2010

Alright, now I've got a few moments to add onto this review.

Single player - I still stand by most of what I said about single player above, the enemy is comprised of slow-to-fire, horrible aim idiots, and your teammates are quicker to the trigger, but just as horrible of a shot as the enemy is. To parrot what others have said, I would like to have more freedom to move about, but it's basically follow your teammate(s) on the invisible track throughout every level. I've restarted the game on hard and I really don't see a difference between it and medium difficulty that I initially started playing. I haven't run into any new bugs, the closest thing that I've come across though is the shot/impact delay. For example, I'll shoot at a wall approximately 10-15 yards away from me and there will literally at least a half-second delay from the point of pulling my trigger and hearing the blast to the actual impact of the bullet. This is acceptable if I were doing 600 yard sniping, but not within spitting distance. Hopefully this is something they can patch since it's supposed to be a realistic game.

Multiplayer - I don't know what it is, but there seems to be much less sniping going on. Snipers can still be an issue, but they don't appear to be as problematic as before. I have not played my gameplay style whatsoever, but I'm living longer, getting higher K/D rations, more points, etc. There is still the death delay problem. If you're firing an automatic rifle and get sniped, for example, you'll still be standing, but your gun will quit firing for a half second before you actually die. Almost giving you this weird "did my game just freeze up on me?!" feeling.

Overall - The graphics for the most part look great, but still some odd, random "wth is that supposed to be?" moments. Like in the first level when you're waiting on a missile strike to open up this huge gate. The dirt and debris falling down to the ground is just brown streaks, very much like something you'd see on a Wii or PS2 FPS. Why they cut corners on stuff like that while putting in so much detail in other areas, I don't know. Like one of the multiplayer maps, if you look off in the far distance, you can see trucks driving down roads, and these have nothing at all to do with the game play. They can do that, but they can't do better than a half-arse brown smudge for debris?

I'm enjoying the game a lot more than I did the first few days. The storyline is ok so far, nothing too extreme, but nothing too boring either. I will continue to update as I continue playing this game.. until Nov 9, that is.

Notebook Power Adapters - laptop charger, laptop power adapters

I was very skeptical about buying this AC adapter. I had changed batteries in my computer and I was still receiving a message that my AC adapter was not recognized and my battery was not charging. My old adapter was still powering my computer but nothing else. Dell's website has the worst reviews for the AC adapters so I thought this would be a better/cheaper route. The product is working perfectly. I plugged it in and it worked right away. My screen did not display the "AC Adapter is not recognized" upon powering up and the battery is charging. I am very pleased with this product. OEM Dell Ac Adapter Laptop Charger for Dell INSPIRON ,Dell XPS ,Dell Studio, Dell Latitude ,Dell Vostro, P/N PA-10 PA10 90w 90 watt Genuine/Original/OEM Portable Charger for Laptop Notebook Computer Battery Charger Power Supply Cord Plug

This is a REAL Dell charger. A bit bigger than the one that came with my Latitude D630, and uses a 3-prong plug instead of 2 prong, but works perfectly. There are a LOT of junky AC adaptors on the market which power the laptops, but do NOT charge the batteries. This is a REAL charger/adaptor. High quality. Works perfectly. Fair price...so I leave this ALWAYS at my desk at home ready to plug in whenever I use my laptop there, and keep the other (original one) ALWAYS in my laptop bag so I've got it if I'm travelling and need it!

I have been very pleased with this power supply. It has been operating every day for the past month since I bought it and it has been working fine. It is interesting to note that this power supply is a full 90W supply. Please don't be fooled into buying the cheaper 60W versions from other vendors. These cheaper 60W supplies burn themselves out after about a month, especially if you are using USB devices that need to draw power from the laptop via the USB port. I know this from personal experience. This supply is an OEM replacement my original laptop power supply, not just a cheaper knockoff.

My old adapter was still powering my computer but nothing else. This power supply is a 90W supply and the system BIOS on my DELL E1705 recognizes it & it charges correctly. Please don't be fooled into buying the cheaper versions from other vendors. I have had an experience with cheaper power supplies that burn themselves out after a year, to the day!. This is especially true if you are using USB devices that need to draw power from the laptop via the USB port. I know this from personal experience.

This supply is an real OEM replacement for my original laptop power supply, not just a cheaper knockoff.

The product is working perfectly. I plugged it in and it worked right away. My screen no longer displays the "AC Adapter is not recognized" upon powering up and the battery is charging.

I am very pleased with this product.

When charger arrived I plugged it into the back of my Dell E1505 and it did feel a little loose so doesn't appear to be the exact model you get from Dell. After a while I noticed this buzzing sound coming from the charger part (the large rectangular portion of the charger where the wires connect) when it was connected to the outlet and into my running laptop. Not sure if it was a fire hazard but I returned it just in case. Sorry, can't recommend.

For two days this product worked OK, then it started sparking and fizzing and did not work when plugged into my laptop. A guy at Best Buy looked at it and as soon as he plugged it in he said "oh crap, that shouldn't be plugged in at all!" because it was dangerous. I bought this product because of the scary reviews of the non-DELL chargers, but it just goes to show you that anything can be a poor quality piece of crap.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505. On this computer the charger allows the computer to run when plugged in, but does not charge the battery. I have to stay plugged in at all times to use my computer with this product as my charger.

I bought this adapter because the product page said it's compatible with my Dell Inspiron 6000. Before I plugged it in, I noticed that the output amperage is different than my original adapter. I checked elsewhere on the Internet, including the Dell site, and I could find no other reference to this adapter being compatible with my laptop. Other websites list the 6400 as a compatible model, but not the 6000. The wrong amperage might not appear to be a problem immediately, but it can cause severe damage to a system. The seller should fix their listing and be more careful about listing compatibility accurately. I do not regard this seller as trustworthy.

I bought this as a replacement and spent the extra money to get the dell product. Unfortunately this only powers the computer if it is plugged in and will not charge the battery. By the time I replaced the battery and figured out it was the chord, I could not return it!! Bad warranty, bad product. You might as well go with the knock off products and take your chances, at least they are cheaper to replace! - Dell Inspiron Adapter - Laptop Power Adapters - Dell Inspiron - Laptop Charger'

Wireless Accessories - samsung bluetooth, headset

Purchased this at Radio Shack for 20 dollars and could not be happier. I since have purchased a Jawbone 2 just because of all the hype. I am now back wearing my Samsung. The clarity and ease of use outshines my Jawbone and it is a lot more comfortable. I really could not tell an improvement over my Samsung and to be honest, the call quality was not as good! Works great on my BB Curve. Samsung WEP460 Bluetooth Headset [Retail Packaging]

I spent half the price on this bluetooth vs a Planetronics I bought, this one has a much longer range if you lay your phone on a desk and walk around and it much clearer, add to that the price and you can't beat this deal

i bought this unit to use on my PS3. it syncs really easily.

the good:

its really light, i hardly notice i have it on.

comes with a few options of how to wear it, extra ear hook and different ear pads.

its reasonably clear at outputting and has really simple button configuration, easy for operation

the bad:

some people complain about the receivers quality, you may sound like youre "in a refrigerator".

turning on and off can be irritating. the audio indicators are confusing.

overall, its not a bad unit, youll just have to figure out the operations before you get comfortable using it.

I bought this for my long drives to and from college. (11 hours one way)

It has great battery life and calls are very clear and crisp!

Most of my friends didn't even know i was using my headset while talking to them.

I was a bit hesitant to buy one due to reviews about having bad call qualities but I haven't had any troubles with that so far.

The bluetooth headset itself is very stylish and light.

My only complaint is that the ear piece is a bit too big for me.

I have to play with a bit until it fits well in my ear so I wish there were smaller pieces or more comfortable ones out there for females.

Overall I am happy with it and would definitely recommend it to all my friends!

Considering it costs less than $15, it is well worth the price. It usually performs well, looks nice, holds a charge for a long time and seems to be of good quality. If you don't want to spend $50+ on a good headset, this is a good choice.

Unfortunately, since it is a $15 headset, there are compromises. Occasionally, there is an echo effect. The earpiece is made out of a flexible plastic, but seems fairly breakable, so you have to be careful. The charger isn't a USB cable, which means you have yet another power cable to carry around. I also dislike the fact that there is always a blinking LED light. A headset already looks bad enough. Does it really need a blinking LED to call more attention to itself? - Samsung Bluetooth - Bluetooth - Headset - Cell Phone Headset'

Photography Equipment - digital camera, photography

This card can hold up to about 1500 8 megapixel jpgs (give or take) which is usually more than I need in a single day. I also have three 1 gig Ultra II's and have noticed that they seem to be faster than the 4 gig version...but I usually don't need more than 9 pictures of an event in less than 5 seconds anyway, so this has not caused too much trouble. I have taken about 5,000-6,000 pictures on this card so far without any problems, other than running low on hard drive space because I end up taking more pictures due to this cards large size. So if speed is your main concern I recommend buying a few 1 gig cards or even moving up to an Extreme III, but other than that this card is a very good size for the cost and gets the job done. SanDisk SDCFH-004G-A11 4GB 30MB/s ULTRA CF Card (US Retail Package)

I bought this in April for my new Canon 30D and it worked great until several months ago. When I would go back to scroll through the recently taken pictures on my camera it would start saying "Data Corrupted". It started out slowly then it would lose every third picture. I tried to reformat the card and got an error message. Now my camera does not recognize it nor does the camera software on my computer. It was a wonderful card while it lasted but I too am hesitate to get another one. Hopefully mine was a lemon too.....but then again.

I love the quality and speed of SanDisk cards. Nevertheless I must confess, after having an Extreme card, you do feel the difference, while browsing through the pics in the camera... I believe it's worth to pay the difference for an Extreme one. In all other matters, great product, reasonable speed (while taking / processing pictures) and good speed for transfering photos to the computer.

This seemed like a great card at a great price. Unfortunately after 4 months, during the middle of a paid shoot, all of the images instantly dissappeared. I stopped using the card, put it aside until I got home. I tried to use software to recover the images. Only a few could be recovered, the rest were gone. I've not been able to re-format the card in either a canon eos 5d, digital rebel, or using software on my computer. The card is now completely un-usable.

All of my older cards continue to work just fine. Hopefully this is just a lemon, although I need to replace it, and am obviously apprehensive about purchasing another one from Sandisk.

Normally I really like Sandisk CF cards. I have an Ultra II 1 gig that has performed flawlessly for over a year. I just recently purchased 2 of the 4 gig cards for an upcoming trip.

To preface I've had digital cameras for years. As far as digital SLR's I've had the orginal DRebel, 2 20D's and 2 30D's.. as well as a Nikon D50. I'm not a novice when it comes to these and to the cards they take.

Upon arrival of the 4 gig cards I put them in to check them. Both produced Err 99 on the Canon 30D's... as well as the Canon 20 D's. The only way around that Err 99 was to format BOTH CF cards on my computer .. and only then did they work in the cameras.

I have NEVER had to format an card before first time use in any of my cameras (including the other 2 4 gig cards that I own).

The cards are being sent back to where I got them, and I'm purchasing cards from a different vendor (and the Ultra III). It's my belief that it could be a batch problem .. as I am hearing others complain of this issue over the last month.

If you experience this problem, return them IMMEDIATELY to the vendor that you purchased it from. While reformatting them on your computer will work, there's a fairly good chance that the card could fail down the road.

I own five of these. The first one I bought at least a year and a half ago, maybe two. Not a problem with any of them, ever. They're fast and at a good price point. If you do any kind of action photography where your camera's buffer comes into play it's worth the extra money to buy a card that will read and write faster.

I used this card for over a year with no problem, deleting all the images on it with my computer numerous times without a problem. Until recently. I deleted the images from my computer, was able to take two photos, then got the change notice on my Nikon D70. I reformatted the card on the camera, but it's still unusable.

It's a great card, delete on your computer at your own risk. - Photography - Digital Camera - Sandisk - Compact Flash'

Fleshtone VHS

Set in Los Angeles, "Fleshtone" is about a lonely painter (Matthew Greco, played by Martin Kemp) who answers a phone sex ad, believing he's finally found someone who understands him--and, most importantly, someone who can turn him on.After awhile of "getting to know each other"--which mainly consists of them sharing sexual and morbid phone conversations--Edna Claire and Matthew agree to meet each other in a motel room. However, when Matthew arrives, he finds a dead, mutilated Edna instead--cut in two at the waist, and posed eerily like the bisected portrait she had insisted he draw of her awhile back. Not surprisingly, Matthew is framed for her murder, creating a trail of detectives and unknown bad guys, who apparently had wanted to pin the murder on him. Somewhere along the way, Matthew realizes Edna isn't who she said she was. The one person he can confide in, so far, is Buddy Fields (Tim Thomerson), who is his best friend and the one redeemable character in this movie, though the bit where Matthew wanted Buddy to play the butler in his fantasy dinner with Edna is utterly hilarious, though I doubt it was supposed to be.Up to about this point, "Fleshtone" had a somewhat promising plot. But as Matthew searches for the true identity of Edna Claire--there are about three different versions of her: 1) the imaginary Playboy centerfold he imagines while on the phone (Debi Giezing); 2) the dead woman in the motel room (Melanie Walker); and 3) the "real" Edna, aka Jennifer Womak (Lise Cutter)--the murder mystery is virtually forgotten so he can romp in the bathroom with the latter Edna.Although unrated, "Fleshtone" definitely gets an X-rating from me. There's more plastic, liposuctioned t&a in this movie than you can shake a stick at. The ending's pretty bad too. It just leaves you hanging. I'm guessing the storyline became too complicated and far-fetched for even the writer(s), since they weren't able to close it properly. I certainly would not recommend this movie, unless you're an avid fan of one of the actors or actresses (and I use the term loosely). Just don't expect too much from "Fleshtone," and you won't be disappointed like I was. Fleshtone [VHS]'

Weighing Scale - weighing scale, shipping

I sell on ebay and was having trouble finding a postal scale locally that would weigh heavier items, like coats......I bought this scale from EZ sell on Amazon and couldn't be happier....In the 3 weeks i have owned it, my USPS has not once disputed the accuracy of my postage.....Now I can list my items with confidence, knowing that i have correctly calculated the shipping charges.....The scale is so easy to use and the digital read-out is bright and clear!.....I love my new scale!.....It has made my little business run so much smoother!...........Thanks, EZ sell! Digital Postal Shipping Postage Bench Scales 35 lbs

I had avoided the use of digital scales not trusting their accuracy; relying on an old fashioned weights and balance scale and my ability to read the meter correctly. Since this scale was so inexpensive I decided to give it a try.

Right out of the box, after attaching the tray and plugging in the scale, it worked as it should. I didn't have to calibrate it but that feature is available should you need to. It's lightweight which is a switch from my old fashioned scale and I DO like the lighted display. The choice of measures (g; lb:oz; kg; oz) makes shipping interantional items even easier.

So far I've used this steadily for a little over a month and have no complaints. This seems to weigh as accurate as the post office's official scale. I'm happy with this purchase.

Although I haven't used the scale very much, I did go through the basic functions of calibrations, zeroing and random weighing of large and small items. It worked well for grams, and when I weighed one of my 10 lb. dumbbells, I discovered it actually weighs 10.8 lbs. I think you'll be pleased.

I've been using this scale in the barn to weigh hay. It works well, and seems to be very consistent. I have not used it to mail anything. I keep it wrapped in plastic when not in use to prevent all the dust, dirt and other barn crud from gumming up the works.

The only thing that I would change is the location/angle of the display. If you are weighing something large, you can't see the display with the object on the platform. For postal weighing, this would not be a problem (just wait for the "hold" and remove the box) but for weighing out a quantity of something it is inconvenient.

Over all, I am very pleased with this product.

I just received and tested this scale - it's perfectly accurate and very easy to use. I tested it by taking 5 items of different weights to 2 different post offices and weighed the items on their floor-standing postal scales in their lobby - the ones that customers use to buy postage for letters and packages. Each USPS scale at each post office showed the exact, same weight for each item, even down to the tenths of an ounce.

This convinced me that the item weights were accurate, so, I wrote down the exact weights, which ranged from 4 oz. to 5 lbs., then weighed the same items on my new Tree SPS-35. The Tree scale matched EXACTLY, ALL 5 weights of the items, also down to the tenths of an ounce. This Tree scale required no prior calibration to get these exact weight matches - it was dead accurate right out of the box. I also tested the scale using both electricity and battery power and got the same, exact results.

I couldn't be more happier with it. BTW, before buying it, I did have one question about calibration, so I wrote to the contact person on the LW Measurements website and got a response within 24 hours. My question was: "What is the MINIMUM amount of weight needed to accurately calibrate the scale, if I should ever need to?" The answer was: Any object(s) OVER 10 lbs. I think one of the demonstrations at the company's website uses 11 lbs. of weight.

Anyone considering this scale should go to the LW Measurements website (Amazon won't let me post the link), and you can see a PDF file of the Users Manual (and) 4 video demonstrations on how to use different features of the scale.

Now, the real question is: "How LONG will this scale last with perfect accuracy ?"

Well, it supposedly has a 2-yr. warranty, but I'll try to remember to come back here and post how it's holding up 1 year from now.......or earlier if it crashes.

Very nice scale! Easy to read and easy to switch to different units of weight. Use it mostly for mail weighing. Nice size. Accurate weights, nothing has come back for more postage. Have weighed package at postage to compare and scale is right on. Would recommend this scale.

I have been looking off and on at postal scales for almost a year, but really didn't need one at first--and was determined not to pay too much or buy one that wasn't very accurate and fairly versatile. I put this one in my shopping cart a couple of months ago and, recently-- when I decided that it was finally time! --I took the plunge... Have been using it for a week or two and I really love it! It seems very sensitive and accurate when weighing letters and small parcels, but also promises to weigh larger parcels (up to 35 lbs) so I feel prepared for almost anything! It should pay for itself in no time with money saved on postage using click-n-ship and paypal--not to mention all the gas and time I save NOT running to the Post Office!

Gift For Grandchild - tools, construction tools

I recently purchased this toy for my son's 2nd birthday and he loves it!! He is obsessed with Bob the Builder and he loves having tools just like Bob. It comes with a 'power drill and power saw' and also a little bendy lamp that he loves. I also have a 4 year old girl who likes it just as much as my two year old. It does come with some small nuts which I don't let him have but he is fine with the bolts and screws which he can hammer and screw into place. He is too young to do the tool box project that comes with the set, but my husband assembled it and he likes to use it to carry his tools around. I paid $69 for my tool bench and I think it was well worth the money. It was easy to assemble and has been by far his favourite birthday gift. Black And Decker Junior Power Tool Workshop (Closed Box)

My 2 1/2 yo son enjoys the cause and effect aspects of the power tools. He also likes to hammer the nails into the table. I like the fact that he can grow into the toy and assemble the toolbox down the road. I also prefer the overall realistic look versus a juvenile style that will much better suit him throughout the years. - Gift For Grandchild - Construction Tools - Tools - Tool Bench'

Ipod Nano Watch Band - waterproof mp3, aquatic mp3 player

I like the functionality of this product being sweatproof and waterproof for my ipod nano 6g but using the volume buttons is almost impossible. The Photos show the person pressing the buttons on the top but in reality you have to turn the ipod on its side because of the space the headphone attachment takes. That is super annoying... Also the size is kind of bulky for an armband on women. I have an athletic sized woman bicep so I can't imagine this being comfortable on a thin woman.

The armband itself and the quality is great though! There is virtually no other decent alternatives so this is the #1 option. I can easily use the touchscreen through the window with a heavier touch (which I kind of prefer). H2O Audio Amphibx Fit Lightweight Waterproof Armband for iPod shuffle and Other Small MP3 Players (Black)

I was blowing through nano's like they were going out of style. I would sweat on them and they would stop working I only wish I found this case sooner and I'd be about 2Grand richer, fits my 6th gen nano with Nike+ censor perfectly. MUST HAVE FOR THE HEAVY SWEATER like myself

Only had this a week but have used a few times in the Atlanta heat so it's gotten wet and no problems so far. Says it's tested to 12 feet in the water but I'm only using for running so the sweatproof matters more to me. A few things I noticed from the onset:

1) It's durable, almost seems like overkill to be putting an Ipod shuffle in there but it works and I recently killed my nano using a standard band so I hope the extra expense is worth it.

2) The band is fairly short. I don't have big biceps but it barely fits me so if you have guns, you might have to order an extra band which is $5 on their website.

3) In order to be truly 'waterproof', you need waterproof earbuds. There's an adapter to seal it with those but they are $30 from H2O and I didn't want to pay that so I'm using the Apple headphones for now. The only exposure is the connection itself which might get moisture but shouldn't be much.

Recommend so far, seems like a well-made product.

What I like:

* Fits my ipod nano 6th gen (tiny one).

* Easy to use

* Works for SUP'ing down wind great!

What I don't like:

* Arm band doesn't fit my bicep

* Rather difficult to operate touch screen on the new tiny Ipod Nano.

I'm wondering if this case might work better with the ipod shuffle? Anybody try it with that?

Definitely awesome to have the water music option for training!

Aloha,

Justin

This product is fine for wearing while jogging in the rain but if you wear it while swimming laps plan on spending $150 every other time you use it. I used it twice. My iPod started to act erratically and when I got out of the pool, the unit leaked. It was ruined. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT while swimming laps !

My son is a competitive swimmer and tried this case. On its first use the case began taking on water and destroyed his iPod. Thankfully this was an old shuffle so he did not lose his primary iPod. This is a piece of crap and unless you have an infinite supply of iPods my suggestion is that you spend your money more wisely.

If you are a heavy sweater, this is the only acceptable case for the new ipod nano. I haven't tried swimming with the case, which I realize is what it is made for. I'm a runner and I sweat. The people who designed this new ipod clearly don't do any real exercise b/c if you just clip the nano to your clothes it will be ruined by sweat after one run. I'm happy with the watertightness of this case, but it is difficult to use the touch screen on the nano while it is in the case.

I received my new iPod Shuffle as a gift to use for marathon training and long-distance running. In the course of my typical runs and races, I am drenched in sweat and often cool myself down by pouring water over me and I certainly didn't want to ruin my new iPod so this seemed the best choice.

I've tested it extensively and used in the pouring rain and water (thankfully) hasn't made it past the rubber seal and my iPod is safe and dry.

The exterior is a clear plastic that let's you see what your doing, selecting, etc but it's a bit hard to navigate/scroll...which is fine since it keeps the iPod dry. I don't fool around with any settings while running, I just select my Playlist, hit shuffle and run.

The interior audio plug helps create the watertight barrior but the plug gets in the way inside the case and makes me feel like it could (eventually) push through the thin clear plastic-like wall that allows you to see the player and screen. I'm sure it's just me though.

I am used to running with my old MP3 player on the waistban of my shorts so it's a bit odd with this hanging on my arm, but it hasn't slowed me down or posed any problems. You can get a longer elastic band made for the case, but I will just keep using the arm band. The waterproof housing is a bit larger than anticipated, but again..it keeps my iPod dry while I'm soaking wet so I'm happy! - Waterproof Ipod - H2ofriendly - Aquatic Mp3 Player - Waterproof Mp3'

Get Organized - coupon holder, organization accessories

I bought this item based on the only review above and just received it. It's just a canvas wallet with index cards. The index cards aren't connected to the wallet in any way and don't fit properly, they don't extend to the ends of the wallet, they're too short. The labels were cut off on the top and "detergent" (deturgent) is misspelled. I'm going back to my check-sized organizer. Purse Size Deluxe Coupon Organizer - 24 Cards - Made in the USA

I bought this to replace my "old" coupon organizer because it advertised sturdy dividers. They are paper thin, the coupons are the same paper grade as the dividers, it's impossible to use as is. I will have to buy some index cards or some other divider for the coupons. Not as described, this is the same one that most sellers offer for under $5.00.

this is the worst and most misleading ad i have encoutered there is nothing DELUXE about this organizer they charged me 6.75 and it was not even worth paying for shipping to return it, there was no separations between cards it was just cards thrown in the wallet, when I called to speak to a supervisor JOE played stupid as if he did not know what i was talking about he also told me he never had a bad review meanwhile they are ALL bad reviews and he would not give me his last name HE should not be a supervisor I will never order from you people again GOODBY and lots of luck!!!!!!

I wish there was a rating worse than "1". I had to wait over month to receive this item. They charged my credit card immediately; but it took 3 long distance phone calls and one email to get my item. I never received an apology for the delay. The "cards" look like they were cut by a six year old; the tabs don't match and the edges of the cards are "ragged". They do not match the coupon holder. The labels they provide are too large for the cards. You would be better off sticking your coupons in envelopes!

I'm extremely disappointed in this coupon organizer. It's flimsy and not deep enough, so when I attach it to a grocery cart the coupons and dividers spill forward and out. It doesn't expand enough at the top so that I can look through a group of coupons between the dividers while shopping. This means that I have to take out a bunch of coupons and then page through them one by one to find the ones I'm looking for which takes two hands and wastes valuable time! The dividers are like very thin file folder stock and show wear and tear after just a few uses. They do provide 24 self stick labels with various grocery item categories for the dividers, but they don't have ones for "pasta and rice" or "bread" nor any blank labels to write your own. Also, this is minor annoyance, but the labels are numbered, ex: 1 - Baby Care Products, 2 - Bags and Wraps. Why? I know the alphabet and I put my coupons in the order that makes sense to me. Detergent is spelled "Deturgent" (seriously, no spell checkers?) I really wish that I saw all of these other reviews before I purchased 2 of these (one for me, one for a friend).

Since this coupon organizer is barely, very barely, expandable and not very wide, I've found it to be essentially useless.

(It's shaped, internally, like a "V", with the narrow point at the bottom and the wider top of the "v", barely an inch wide, at the top. And the included "index" cards are actually a smidgen too wide to spread easily within the organizer.)

It might be useful if you collect only a very small handful of coupons - but if that's all you collect, I'm not sure why you'd need this organizer in the first place.

This coupon wallet fits nicely in my purse and yet fits a TON of coupons -- but the "cards" that separate the categories of coupons are just thin, flimsy pieces of paper that get lost in my coupons, and bent up. I'd recommend an organizer with more sturdy dividers to help you find things easier.

Don't trust the review that gave this item 5* stars. They obviously work for the company since it is the ONLY item that they have ever reviewed at the time of this posting. The other reviews are much more accurate. Cheap card stock that is not attached in any way. Not worth the money. There is nothing "deluxe" about this other than the price. - Organizer - Coupon - Organization Accessories - Coupon Holder'
