External Hard Drive - mp3, divx

The NBOX is a perfect media player for those movie junkies out there who like to burn videos to DVD. Now, all you need is a flash drive to put some movies on and easily plug into and play on the NBOX. Its very easy to use, and the remote is tiny and straight to the point. Just don't lose it because you will have a hard time navigating from the controls on the player.

The reason I gave the NBOX only 4 stars, is because the player doesn't recognize my 320gb Toshiba external hard drive. I don't understand why, although I haven't looked to far into the problem because I have a 16gb flash drive that works perfectly. So I recommend looking into that before you buy it, if you're planning on using an external hard drive.

Also, it could fast forward a little more quickly than 4x.

Other than that, this is a good buy for 40 bucks. NBOX TV Media Player - Supports SD/USB Drive/USB External Hard Drive - Plays DIVX/AVI/RMVB/RM/XVID/MPG

When I attempted to setup my NBox Media Player, I discovered that the included power cord would not fit. I applied firm pressure, and even tried to twist it into place. Nothing worked. I boxed it back up to get a replacement but learned that Amazon does not offer a replacement on this product since it is sold through a third party. They only offer a refund. I sent them an e-mail to see if I could just get a replacement cord. They again said I would have to send the entire thing back, get a refund, and reorder it. I found no way to contact the company directly to see if I could just get the correct cord.

Thankfully, I'm a huge techno geek, and after searching my other various electronic gadgets, I found a cord that was not only the right voltage, but also the right size.

Now the review- I connected everything and was up and running in seconds. The interface is very user friendly. The menus were very easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. I had no problems accessing music, video, or picture data off my flash drives, memory card, or portable 320GB FreeAgent hard drive. I did have a few MP4 files that would not play, but XVID, MP3, and AVI all played well. The video and audio quality was good. I, however, could not access any of the video files on my 1TB external hard drive. The NBox locked up for a few minutes while accessing the drive. When it finally came up with a file list, it would still not access the files.

In summary- If you're looking for a quick way to access most of your video and audio files off a flash drive or memory card, NBox does the job. May not work with a very high capacity drive. I took one star off for the power cord mix-up.

Great for movies and pictures.this is the second one that I have purchased.

Very easy to use. Plug in storage drive or flash drive and there you go we use ours a

almost every day.you can't beat the price :)

Excellent product for the price. Keep in mind that you will have to supply your own external hard drive (or flash disk, etc.) Works great with my 320gb hard drive, loaded lots of movies on it. When I first plugged it into the TV, there was no color and the image was offset. The default setting is PAL (which is used in Europe) so you have to change it to NTSC and it looks fine after that. With divx movies, sometimes it will go out of sync when you pause or fast forward. Also, pressing the "skip" button will go to the next file instead of 5 or 10 minutes later in the same movie you're already watching.

If you are looking for an inexpensive media player, this is it. If the minor problems or cheap plastic feel bother you, look for a higher priced unit.

I was having a particularly difficult time one afternoon trying to make a DVD of .avi files, when it struck me- no one uses CDs to transport data anymore; we use USB drives and SD cards. So why am I messing around with the silly plastic disks?

A search of the web revealed scores of devices ranging from well over $200 down to this very inexpensive box- not much more than the price of a stack of burnable DVDs. With Amazon's customer service I figured it was a risk-free purchase, so I bit.

Two days later the box arrived. Leaving the instruction manual in the box (of course!)I plugged it in to my TV, inserted a USB drive with a few .avi files, and turned it on. The on-screen menu navigation was straightforward, and in a minute I was watching the movies on my new TV. Quality wasn't great, though, so I switched to "setup" mode and went through the setting. Aha! The unit as delivered is set for PAL, the European standard! Switching to NTSC drastically improved the color and got rid of the jitter in the signal.

Is it perfect? No. Unlike more expensive media players, it doesn't have an HDDI output (though it has both composite and component outputs). And unlike some of the very expensive media players, the NBOX can't make up for low quality data with frame storage and interpolation. But with good data, it works perfectly, and at a price that low, it's hard to complain. Four stars for value. We'll see how well it lasts. - Cheap - Media Player - Divx - Mp3'

Ipad Accessory - mp3 accessories, ipod accessories

Note: These have an excellent, no-hassle warranty. Skullcandy will replace them for any reason, whenever - just go to their website, register your product, and fill out the warranty form.

Firstly, I want to mention a few important tidbits that I think you should know.

1. Pay attention to the L and R on these earbuds, which can be hard to see. Do not reverse them, as doing so can affect fit and sound quality.

2. Don't assume you know which gel size will fit you best; make sure you try on all 3 gel sizes that come with these, as using the wrong size can dramatically decrease sound quality and comfort. For myself, I automatically went with the smallest size because my ears are small, but those made the earbuds sound like cheap garbage. It wasn't until I tried the next size up did I get the full quality of sound that these are designed for. So pay attention to this, since it really matters.

3. These have a straight plug, not an L-shaped plug. So you will need to be extra careful as a straight-plug design increases the amount of pressure both on the plug, and the headphone jack of your player. This leads to frayed wires or a loosening of the headphone jack, or both, which ultimately lead to the classic problem of only one side having sound.

4. The cord is long - measures approximately 4 feet, 5 inches.

5. Burn-in works with these. Slightly.

Now, as for the build quality - I'm impressed. They are not cheaply made ear-buds, despite their low price. The wires are nice and solid, and feel very well made - not flimsy or plastic-y. The silicone gels (tips that go in your ear) are very soft and pliable, and even have the Skullcandy logo engraved on them. Nice touch.

They feel good, too. Really good. Both the material, and the way they fit my annoyingly small ears. And they don't fall out constantly, although I do sometimes get the sensation that it's getting sucked into my left ear.

And yes, these come with 3 different size gels.

Sound is great. These handle bass extremely well for mid-tier earbuds, and highs aren't so shrill and piercing as with other comparable brands. Some of this really depends on your player, too. Even between iPods, sound quality does differ.

As far as functionality goes, I find I am able to run with these with no problem. The wires do not get tangled, and you can easily adjust the split in them with an attached slider (that has 'Skullcandy' written on it in the corresponding colour), which I find very convenient. I do not hear this thumping sound that others claim to hear from wire-movement, so I can't confirm that.

The only things I dislike are the straight plug, and the lack of a case. Otherwise, I am thoroughly impressed with Skullcandy. The craftsmanship, the quality of sound, and all the little extras that Skullcandy does that really lets you know that they are paying attention, and that they care about their products and end-users.

Worth every penny. Skullcandy INK'd Earbuds S2INCZ-045 (Silver/Black)

Purchased the headphones about a week ago and I'm very pleased. I previously had the JVC Marshmallows and loved those headphones, but one of the earbud sleeves came off and the new JVC's are designed differently so I decided to give these a try. They produce very clear sound with solid bass. I was also surprised by the fit on the silicon caps that come with these. I have a difficult time finding silicon caps that will stay in my ear so I usually stick to foam, but these headphones came with three different sizes of caps and the smallest size fits and stays in without a problem. I will also say that I bought the Comply Foam Tips recently and am currently using those on these headphones (since I already had them) but once these wear out then I will stick with the silicon tips that came with these headphones because they will probably last longer. All in all, great purchase!

I purchased my Skullcandy Ink'd ear buds almost two years ago, and now that I need to lay them to rest I thought I would write a review on them.

First off, don't think that they are cheaply made because mine broke. From what I have been reading, two years is a good deal of time to have working headphones, especially at the low price of under 20 bucks! If I have to say, I provably contributed to the heavy wear of the jack that plugs into my computer (it is in the front of my laptop, so when the computer slides close to my lap the jack gets pinched).

Construction:

--

Being my first pair of non-stock earphones, I don't really have much to say in terms of construction, but as previously mentioned they lasted a helluva long time, so that should carry some weight. Speaking of weight, these buds feel light, but not so much that they feel cheap. Even after a couple of years the wires are intact, and I have had no problems with them up until a couple days ago (one ear bud stopped working, probably due to abuse). The only problem I would say has carried any weight in this department has to be the the fact that the rubber coated wires make a noticable sound through the buds when tapped or rustled (almost sounds like a heartbeat). This could probably be fixed with some comply foam tips instead of the stock silicone ones.

Sound Quality:

--

I listen to a variety of music genres through these things, and I can safely say that the sound quality is great across the spectrum. Anything from the highs and mids from classical to the deep undulating bass from dub-step can be heard clearly. They might not hold in a battle against some $100+ buds, but for this price they are awesome.

All in all, I am rating the Ink'd buds a 4/5, only because of the sound producing wires (see 'Construction'). If I could give it a 4.5 I would. - Headphones - Ipod Accessories - Skullcandy - Mp3 Accessories'

Remote Extender - ir repeater, remote extender

This is, without a doubt, the best remote control extender I've ever used. I have used three before this one. I have the X-10 Powermid in my bedroom and bought this one for my basement. I have a 50 inch plasma in my basement and I didn't want to put my cable box right underneath it or buy a media cabinet. I think it defeats the whole purpose of putting a plasma on the wall. I read the reviews on this RCE and figured I'd try another brand. I was very happy to see that the positive reviews were right on the money. I hooked it up in about 5 minutes. It was simple. My cable box is now located in the closet behind the TV. This RCE puts the transmitter inside the remote control. You replace one of your batteries with their battery shaped transmitter. The transmitter could care less in which direction you aim the remote control. This is so much better than the X-10 and others that require you to point your remote control at a receiver. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't and I'm always wondering if my remote control batteries are dead. This RCE works every time. I'm going to get another one for my bedroom.

Bottom Line: Finally a remote control extender that works! I love this product. Next Generation Remote Control Extender

Pros:

I primarily intended to use this with a Harmony 768 universal remote (4xAAA) and, once I figured out the idiosyncrasies, it has worked great & how I'd hoped; from anywhere in my apartment on more than a dozen components that make up my complex system, and with just as quick and reliable a response as with the direct original remotes. I don't even need to extend the telescoping antenna on the receiver (RF-receiver/IR-relay), and just lay it horizontally flat against the "saucer", which is placed in an inconspicuous location with nearby line-of-sight to my IR components.

Although I don't need the "eye extender" cable (since I have no components hidden in cabinets or out of line-of-sight for the receiver), I did test it. I was surprised how well it worked even from several feet from component IR sensors, regardless of its directional orientation. I imagine that the optional "triple-eye" accessory, selectively oriented in a cabinet rather than attached directly to individual sensors, could probably emit enough IR to control quite a bit more than 3 components & maybe as many as a dozen? Even an optimally placed single-eye could possibly supplement the receiver if there were several components in the same location but out of direct line-of-sight from the receiver.

Cons and idiosyncrasies:

It comes in plastic "bubble"-container packaging. Fortunately, the package edges can be peeled apart without requiring a "machete" or damaging the product, but it still can't be fully resealed. Of course this style packaging makes it unlikely you'd be able to return it if it didn't work out for you, which is a major reason manufacturers use these insidious packages.

It can be a bit quirky, depending on the remote with which it's used. I tested it with close to 20 original remotes as well as several universal remotes, AAA & AA battery usage. Most worked just fine, but I experienced the following issues:

- Harmony 768, universal remote (4xAAA); sensitive to which battery location for the transmitter (lower 2 battery chambers, farthest from 768's IR emitters, seem to work best); on occasion it suddenly stopped working until I spun the transmitter a bit inside the battery chamber - whether this was due to poor contact or an orientation issue, I don't know.

- HTM MX-500, universal remote (4xAAA); no response from the receiver, & with transmitter/battery in slot "1" the remote doesn't even "turn on" (ie, can't be used with this universal remote.)

- Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U, D-VHS (2xAA); no response on the receiver or otherwise when used with the original remote *OR* with the Harmony 768 sending HS-HD2000U commands (ie, won't control this component - A/B/C settings on the receiver made no difference.)

Other:

- be sure to observe the feedback LED on the receiver. If it responds to your remote, you're likely good to go. (I first tested this with the Harmony 768, and until I determined its idiosyncrasies, had *no* response. I can see how someone could quickly conclude this doesn't work.)

- some components don't respond as well (or even at all for one of my components) when both the remote's IR and the receiver's IR is beamed to the component at the same time. When I'm in a line-of-sight location with the remote, I have much better response when I point the remote away or cover its IR, restricting it to sending RF to the receiver. When I'm *not* in a line-of-sight location with the remote, it makes no difference where I point it, as I'd expect with RF transmission.

- The receiver's IR beam strength & coverage seems typical to other IR remotes. If you're using receiver line-of-sight rather than via directly attached "eye(s)", it may take a bit of trial and error to find the best convenient receiver placement location and direction to operate all your system components.

- the receiver's power adaptor *may* have to be plugged to a different outlet to avoid interference from other components plugged to a power strip.

- The aspect ratio of the Amazon product-image is width-stretched (actual "saucer" seems smaller than perceived from the Amazon image); you'll see the proper proportion in images at the NGHP web-site.

- I primarily use NiMH rechargeable batteries on my remotes, but wherever I ran into issues I also tried using standard alkalines. Battery type never made any difference in my testing results and all had full charges.

- check the NGHP web-site FAQs, where it recommends such things as charging the batteries 24-36 hours before using the 1st time (which I did for these test results.) You *may* find that the mini-battery charges somewhat faster when it's in its dedicated charge slot than when in the charge slot for the combined mini-battery/transmitter.

- mini-battery charge seems to be lasting similar to the "normal" rechargeables, so far, but I've only had this for a few weeks. It's still going on the 1st charge and quite a bit of usage.

- Yes, the instructions were written by someone whose 1st language is likely not English, but they're still quite understandable & easy to follow.

- This product is so useful for me that I bought a 2nd as a backup. Both exhibited the same quirks. - Remote Extender - Ir Repeater - Next Generation - Rf Remote'

Docsis 3 - sb6120, surfboard

I've had this modem for about a month now. It works flawlessly. In fact it increased my speed from roughly 20mb/s to 40mb/s over cox. Its a nice compact unit, and has a couple keyholes for wall/shelf mounting. Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

I simply replaced my RR modem with this one and powered it up. The speeds were crippled and when I tried to bring up a web page, I was presented with a message "Your MAC address is unknown, please call TWC/RoadRunner and give the Agent the new MAC address". I called the number given and after 10 minutes got ahold of a technician who took the new MAC address and assigned it to my account. Within a few moments the modem disconnected. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and when it came up, I was at full speed again. My d/l speed went from 8MB to 11MB and my ping dropped from 39ms to 21 ms.

Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem eXtreme Broadband Cable Modem I bought this cable modem figuring it would be my last modem for a while and that it would pay out versus renting from ComCast. At the time I bought it, it WAS on Comcast's list of approved modems. Bad decision. For whatever reason, the modem just plain didn't work properly, never achieving anything close to the 60/10 service I was paying for with Comcast. After numerous phone sessions and three on-site tech visits, one very smart and methodical tech finally figured out the modem was defective, and replaced it with Comcast's own. I'm blazing away now at 62/12, and happy as a clam. My advice: don't buy your own modem (especially this one), just cough up the monthly rental fee and let your cable provider provide the modem that they KNOW works with their system. In my case, it was not even close to being worth all the grief I went through simply to save the few bucks I might have saved! One last note: the Comcast tech that finally figured out the problem said that one of the reasons he suspected that the Motorola was the problem was that the scuttlebutt among Comcast techs is that a LOT of these modems are defective and are basically pieces of junk!

IT GETS WORSE: I called Motorola's tech support to arrange a refund, and talked with a very arrogant tech, then his very arrogant supervisor. Bottom line.... you ain't gonna get a refund from Motorola if it doesn't work. Here's their "warranty:"

"Because it is impossible for Motorola to know the purposes for which you acquired this Product or the uses to which you will put this Product, you assume full responsibility for the selection of the Product [even though it's on Comcast's approved modem list], and for its installation and use. While every reasonable effort has been made to insure that you will receive a Product that you can use and enjoy, Motorola does not warrant that the functions of the Product will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. MOTOROLA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PROBLEMS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE INTERACTION OF THE PRODUCT WITH ANY OTHER SOFTWARE OF HARDWARE, ALL WARRANTIES ARE VOID IF THE PRODUCT IS OPENED, ALTERED, AND/OR DAMAGED. THESE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES for any and all claims that you may have arising out of or in connection with this Product, whether made or suffered by your or another person and whether baswed in contract or tort."

I am sure the Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem is a very capable modem considering it is a Motorola product; however, I had to put 2 stars to get peoples attention. The Motorola SURFboard® SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem is not yet on COMCAST's list of supported modems. I thought that waiting 4 months since the release of this product would give COMCAST time to obtain the software required to add the SB6121 to their network. Well, I was wrong. It is a shame to give this product 2 stars when I never even got the chance run it through its paces. I would rather give COMCAST 2 stars for being lazy. The COMCAST tech that came to setup my modem said that the COMCAST system identified my modem; however, that was about it. He connected a different modem to show me that modems on the list will work. He said that he has a Motorola SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 eXtreme Broadband Cable Modem at home and that it works just fine. So unfortunately, I have to return the SB6121 and I ordered the SB6120. I am not slamming Amazon or this product. I just wanted to make COMCAST customers or future COMCAST customers aware that the SB6121 will not work on the COMCAST network YET.

I has having good success with a 3-year old Motorola Surfboard modem, but had been reading that newer modems = faster speeds without having to upgrade service. I checked with Cox Communications to see if the SB6121 was compatible with their service and they said it was so I ordered it.

Plugged it in and called them with the MAC & Serial numbers - was up and running in 6 minutes, including 3 minutes of hold time and a minute to restart my router and computer.

Ran a speed test through speedtest.net prior to switching modems. Old modem had PING of 27ms, 23.77Mbps download, 2.62Mbps upload.

New modem test 10 minutes later: PING 18mx, 41.19Mbps download, 4.33Mbps upload.

Not bad for a $100 investment and no additional charges from Cox.

Highly recommended if your provider is setup to operate with this modem. - Surfboard - Comcast - Sb6120 - Docsis 3'

Belkin Components - wrist rest, ergonomic

It is a mouse pad made by Belkin, which has a reputation of making reasonably priced and acceptable products. I have had it for a few days, some reviews say they couldn't live without it, some say it is too hard...this is my two cents:

Comfort level: C+ - I see some reviews that say it is too hard, but I don't think so. It is gel and it needs to be a little hard to maintain it's shape. It does not feel like a pillow. If it did feel like a pillow, it would lose its shape and become flat where your wrist laid and fluffy on the sides. I have used it for an hour or two at a time and I think it's nice for the price. I have it on a end table beside the couch and my had goes to sleep if I don't pick it up every 4-5 minutes, but I can't say that is uncommon for a mouse pad of this type.

Functionality: A+ - I have been using this mouse pad with a laser mouse and it works flawlessly. I do not know what to say except that it does the job as far as I am concerned.

One more comment...The bottom of this thing is tacky. When I say tacky I don't mean that it is not very fashionable, I mean that it sticks to crap like crazy. It will not slide on any surface under normal conditions.

Durability: I have had it for just a few days, but it does seem to be a fairly durable product. It seems to be covered in a neoprene type cover. I think you could spill anything on it and simply wash it out and dry it, though I have never done it. I think if you were wearing a watch on your mouse hand, mine is on the right, the wrist pad covering would be gone in a couple of weeks of moderate use.

Overall: I recommend this mouse pad for the price. I have not had a lot of experience with mouse pads with a pad for the wrist, but I am glad I switched over. I don't know what to tell you if you will be using it for eight hours a day, but for the recreational net surfer, it is one heck of a mouse for your money and I plan on using mine for at least the next couple of years. So, if you want a flashy, custom colored mouse pad with memory foam then you need to spend more money, but if you want a good mouse pad for your hard-earned money, then go with this Belkin. Belkin F8E262-BLK WaveRest Gel Mouse Pad (Black)

I loved these mouse pads, have used them for years. I just bought a new one, my fourth, and found that Belkin has changed them. The quality is entirely different and cheap now. The weight is much lighter (the top corners don't even lay flat), the gel pad feels like a brick, and worst of all the surface is so reflective that my optical mouse does not track properly on it. As mouse pads go, these are pricey (but used to be worth it) and so I am very disappointed to see Belkin cut quality like this and rip off a longtime (now ex-) customer. It feels like they switched to a two-dollar mouse pad that they still want to sell at the old price.

I was starting to get wrist pains with my mouse hand ("oh no! Carpal tunnel!") so I ordered this pad.

It seems small at first glance (maybe 3 mice wide), but it's all you'll need. The rubber texture on the bottom side keeps the pad stabilized on your desk. The top side is a soft fabric, so even though the wrist area's "gel", it feels natural and you forget that your wrist is elevated after a few minutes.

It's incredibly simple and works as advertised; I wish I'd coughed up the $5 for one of these a long time ago. Very good product.

ok first of all the mouse pad is smaller than you think, which is bad if you are going to game with it.

Second, the synthetic material they used feels really nice to the skin and is the main reason why I picked this mouse pad.

However, it is easily the worst material possible as a mouse surface. I CANNOT use ANY wireless optical mice on this surface. I tried 3 and the mice stop responding when used on this surface.

Also from what I can tell, it causes a LOT of friction which means it takes more effort to move the mouse across the pad. I can actually HEAR the mouse when I move it around.

The only positive feedback I can give is the shape, size, and feel of the wrist support. which is exactly what I was looking for.

In the end, I cut off the pad area from the wrist support and stitched my old mouse pad onto the wrist support.

seriously tho... a mouse pad that doesn't work? wtf?

This looked exactly like the mouse pad I was replacing, but the the laser optical on my mouse doesn't work well with it and it's been sitting on my office floor since the day I got it... too inexpensive to return.

I rarely leave product reviews but felt compelled to do so given that I am very pleased with this product. I spend a lot of time working on my computer and have recently started experiencing pain in my hands. After getting this mousepad - problem solved! No more pain! Now I need to get one for my keyboard! - Mouse Pads - Ergonomic - Wrist Rest - Belkin'

Kitchen Aid Blender - kitchenaid, replacement

Read multiple reviews, and we decided to purchase the two pack. Product came in a very reasonable time. My wife installed the unit by first removing the old coupler with a screw driver, and it went pretty well until she slipped and stuck the screwdriver into her hand (please note that this did not surprise me, and she will love it that I posted this). Five minutes later and one bandaid, the old coupler was off, and the new coupler was installed. I would recommend this product, its better than buying a new blender.

This little kit is great. It saved me from spending a lot to have it repaired professionally. The part is easy to remove and replace (just google kitchenaid blender repair or search you tube) and now my blender is good as new.

What more can I say, I love my Kitchenaid blender. The black fittings lost all but one tooth in a fit to make the perfect strawberry margarita. Luckily, one tooth was all that was needed to finish the icy wonder drink.

These new gears arrived fast. With the help from a kitchen rag and the flat removal wrench, the repair took less than 3 minutes. Perfecto good as new.

Wonderful product. Don't throw away your blender when the teeth get old and fall off. This is a great way to keep your blender blending.

I was so happy to find this repair kit when my blender needed a new coupling. My husband and I both worked on this repair and looked online to find help. It was a bit of a time consuming repair but it was well worth it to restore new life into my beloved blender for such a great price. I would definitely recommend this kit along with some patience. - Replacement Parts - Kitchen Aid Blender - Kitchenaid - Repair Kit - Replacement - Blender'

Hp 564xl - ink cartridge, hp

What can I say, but I love the D7560 printer. So far has printed photographs far superior then those I get at Wal-Mart. The five pack was purchased as I need just a couple of the cartridges for right now, but eventually will need to replace the others as I print more photographs.

This set I purchased from 4InkJets is the best buy you can get, if you look at the combined price of the 564XL cardridge prices. Delivery was fairly quick, much quicker then the stated 7-10 working days. I ordered on Saturday and had them on Wednesday (Burgin, KY).

My only hope is that the XL models last a lot longer then the regular cartridges. HP 564XL - 5 pack of Genuine/Original/OEM HP Inkjet cartridges. Not for use in Photosmart Plus printers.

As a pro photographer I always am on the look-out for ways to reduce the cost of my finished product. I was extremely happy that the order placed arrived in good time..was the product they represented, and the cost was well below competition. My only complaint is that I have no way of asking the supply company "how do I place a re-order?".. since there was no paper-work sent with the order.

I did receive my inkjet cartridges for my photo printer in the time that was promised - no problems there. But I feel as if HP is cleaning out my bank account everytime I have to order new cartridges. Is is a lot cheaper to use a local CVS or other store to print my photos. HP's gimmick is to sell you an inexpensive printer, then take you to the cleaners on refills. Next time I will look at a Canon. They are making an effort to sell reasonably priced ink refills.

This package failed me with the 564 XL Photo Black cartridge. I bought two sets of the 564 XL and each of the Photo Black cartridges were blank. Each started printing initially, and completely failed after the first print with blank output. Ruined my weekend photography business at a party with customers waiting behind me to get their prints and I couldn't print photos with the 564 XL Photo Black from this package completely useless.

Be warned.

I am hesitant to purchase online but after shopping at Wally World (Wal Mart) and Office Depot I found the offering from '4inkjets' irresistable! The prices at these so-called discount houses was double what '4inkjets' was offering the same for! I was suspicious that '4inkjets' would send me refurbished cartridges. That was not the case! They sent me brand-spanking new cartridges that I am using over and over and over again! Love it!!!

Mike is an unbelieveable seller. He went way out of his way to make sure I was a happy buyer. The first order of ink cartridges I ordered came right away. I was a little disapointed the the expiration dates would not the far away. My first review I expressed the disappointment. Mike contacted ME. He wanted to correct the situation and he mailed me new cartridges. I will always buy from this seller. I will tell him if I have a problem, before I post anything on Amazon. I will tell my friends what a great person he is.

Wonderful service, Great prices and just the product I needed.

These extra large versions of the HP 564 cartridges are the only way to go. I really like the black cartridge. its a double extra large. This helps bring the cost of printing down. When empty, have them refilled locally with generic ink for even less. - 564xl - Ink Cartridge - Hp - Hp 564xl'

I own LaceLids but they are not interchangeable and I thought this item would be great for changing shoes (a girl's gotta have options, right?!?) While it's a great concept, I did use it once and felt that it wasn't sturdy... noisy clattering coming from my shoe made me nervous that it was going to fall off. I read one comment that it fell off during a trail run, and while my runs are usually confined to the treadmill at a local gym, I do 10k runs monthly... so I am concerned. I think I'll stick with my LaceLids and just buy them in bulk... They are very secure. Switcheasy RunAway Nike Plus iPod AnyShoe Adapter (Black)

The sleek, good looking design attracted me to this product, but unfortunately it lasted all of about a mile and the top piece (along with my Nike plus transmitter) was gone. I guess I should have put some tape around it to be sure, but I figured it was designed for running and didn't expect it to break open so easily! Now I'm out $30 for a new Nike plus :( Don't let it happen to you!

I now have about 300 miles on the Switcheasy RunAway and it has been flawless. Its best features:

1. Easy to take on and off shoes in an instant. Just pull and turn to unclip from your laces. Yet it's quite secure as it locks on.

2. It has an easy access button so that you can turn your sensor OFF when not in use to save its battery. The marware doesn't do this.

3. comes in many crystal colors to match your shoes (perhaps not really important)

4. the newer 'crystal' version is a slight redesign which is more secure, rugged and easier.

5. comes with a cap for the ipod adapter, that fits snugly in the RunAway for easy storage of the whole nike+ipod gadget.

I tried running with the sensor under the footbed, but that didn't really work, and I'm not a Nike shoe guy. So, this clips easily on to my Saucony and Brooks running shoes. Yeah!

Update:

6. I now have 900 miles on her and it's still a rock solid holder. No problems. Not flimsy

7. The clip also works fine on the strap of my Vibram Five Fingers KSOs. So, another benefit as some holders require shoe laces.

I actually owned this for over a year. No problems except I went for a trail run last week, and poof it's gone. My guess is that because it's made with a plastic swivel to lock the clip around the shoelace. Must of worn down and gotten loose....I just replaced the sensor too, because the old one ran out. I think it's time to try the velcro one

I love the RunAway AnyShoe Adapter for Nike+ iPod Sports Kit. It can be attached to your shoe when you want to use it and then taken off when you're done. Much easier on the sensor's battery. Also comes with a storage method for the transmitter so that everything stays together and doesn't get lost. I can tuck the shoe adapter in my iPod Sock and it's good to go anywhere, anytime.

This is a simple and effective alternative to having to buy a Nike+ shoe. It does keep the sensor securely in place as recommended for accuracy in your distance. I ran about a year with one before the top came off, losing the transmitter. I believe the part that locks it in place can't take long term stress.

I recommend checking it periodically for signs of stress.

If you want a pouch type, make sure it keeps it secure with no extra movement. This is required for maximum accuracy.

I bought this Adapter over two years ago to use with my iPod Nano. As a life long runner, I don't wear Nike shoes so this item was the perfect option for me when using the Nike+ feature on the Nano. It's also convenient for switching from one pair of shoes to another if you like to rotate several pairs of running shoes. I have never lost the adapter of sensor with this device.

I purchased this product a while ago- directly from their website. It was easy to install, maybe a little too easy. I had it on for maybe a month before I went for a run on a local trail. After finishing my run I noticed my shoe looked different- the adapter had unclipped and my sensor was gone! It is way too easy for this thing to fall off.

A better (and cheaper alternative): Cut the tongue of your shoe, insert the sensor, then sow it back up. Costs nothing, and you'll never lose your sensor.

I bought this product several months ago, and just put it on my shoe for the first time. I ran 5K, and when I was done running, I looked down, and the top had slid off of the case, taking my Nike sensor along with it. This pouch is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL and I now have to go replace both the pouch AND the sensor. It is not sturdy AT ALL, and I would not recommend this product to ANYONE. - Nike - Ipod Accessories - Ipod - Running'

Canon Lenses - canon, digital slr

Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary:

***** Highly recommended with warm fuzzies!

Having used the Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 Image Stabilized USM SLR Lens for EOS Digital SLR's for about two years now, this is the perfect focal length range for use as a day-to-day walkabout lens on my Canon 40D. Other Canon gear that I have include their excellent Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras , their razor-sharp Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras , Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens for Canon EOS Cameras , the extremely sharp Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM 1-to-1 Macro Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras , Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5X Macro Lens for Canon SLR Cameras , and Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Lite for Canon Digital SLR Cameras.

In low light or wider-angle scenery shots, this lens is not as sharp as my 17-55mm f/2.8. When used to photograph macro-like shots of butterflies and flowers, it is not as sharp as my 100mm f/2.8. When used at its 200mm focal length to focus onto distant birds and turtles sitting on a stone in a pond, it is not as sharp as my 70-200mm f/4L. But as a one-lens solution for covering that kind of focal lengths, it is pretty good. On sunny days, I use this lens on a 40D with a B&W multi-coated MRC Kaesemann Circular Polarizer. I consider this to be a very useful hiking/travel/walkabout lens, or if (like me) you hate changing lenses back and forth :-) , or if capturing the moments in both wide-angle and zoom situations is more important than getting that perfect shot by carrying multiple lenses and/or camera bodies. This is my first experience with a Canon lens that does not use USM, and the micro-motor is barely slightly slower and noisier than USM... but not knowing what to expect, I was expecting even slower focusing and, in nearly all situations, I found its focus speed totally adequate - still very quick and without any back-and-forth hunting in lower lighting. But my main gripe about this lens is that Canon did not use USM (who knows what kind of marketing decisions went into this, much as I wondered why the 40D had a 3.0-inch LCD but kept the same 230,000 pixels as the 2.5-inch LCD on the 30D - one of my main gripes with the 40D). For the price, Canon should have included USM with full-time manual focusing. But I did notice that the price has dropped by more than 60 dollars since I bought the lens less than three weeks ago.

The use of a zoom lock switch to prevent lens creep is a very welcome addition that I always wished that their 17-85mm and 17-55mm lenses also had. Because of the 11 lens elements in this lens, it slides out to a zoomed length far more than my 17-85mm lens does when the camera is pointing downward and slung around my neck and/or shoulder. Other superzooms have this same lens creep problem and this is likely a design compromise that the Canon engineers had to consider in still wanting to minimize the amount of friction and effort it takes to turn the zoom ring versus the propensity of the lens elements' weight to pull the zoom downward due to gravity. I have learned to always flick the zoom lock switch on when I am just carrying the camera, quickly flick the zoom lock switch off as I begin to aim and focus (after a short while, it becomes easily habitual to use the middle or ring finger of my right hand to lock/unlock the zoom lock switch while aiming), and to just hold the camera more horizontal if I am actively looking to photograph more. The lens does not rotate during focusing, so circular polarizer filters stay in place.

Unlike Canon's USM lenses, the micro-motor focus design of this lens does not allow you to override the autofocus mechanism until you first flip the AF/MF switch on the lens. Furthermore, while the 17-85mm lens lets you use both the focus ring and zoom ring when the lens hood is inverted on the lens, on the 18-200mm lens, since the slim manual focus ring is now placed at the very front of the lens (and in front of the much-wider zoom ring), when its Canon EW78D Lens Hood for EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 Canon SLR Lens (not included with the lens) is inverted, the lens hood's "petals" block most of the focus ring and I have to use my middle finger and thumb to reach in between the hood petals to rotate the focus ring when the hood is screwed on in its inverted position. I would have much preferred that Canon either (a) retain the same focus-ring-closer-to-camera-body design that they used on the 17-85mm, or (b) increase the width of the focus ring so that it is more accessible when the lens hood is inverted onto the lens. But with the zoom ring being 2.2" wide, the bulk of the lens barrel is occupied by the zoom ring, as if Canon expects that most people will not be using manual focus much on this lens. Since I mainly use manual focus on my two 65mm and 100mm macro lenses, this is not that big of a deal for me. In looking across Canon's entire zoom lens product line, Canon seems to be inconsistent in their placement of the zoom and focus rings, with some lenses having the zoom ring closer to the camera body, and some lenses having the focus ring closer to the camera body.

At both 18mm and 200mm wide open, the image corners can be a little on the soft side, but when stopped down between f/5.6 and f/11, the image is sharp from edge to edge. But even Canon's 28-300mm L glass, which is also f/3.5-5.6, has its share of design compromises and sharpness issues in a superzoom lens design. So I think that any lens encompassing this sort of zoom range will be tripping over the physical limitations of what can be achieved when compared with a lens with a smaller zoom range. A 18-200mm lens at a fixed f/2.8 with USM and L-grade glass and weather sealing in a lens that weighs less than 3 pounds would be wonderful, and I would gladly pay a lot more for it as single-lens travel/walkabout lens solution, but that product still only exists in my dreams right now.

This 18-200mm lens will now make my 17-85mm lens the least-used lens that I have, so I may eventually end up selling the 17-85mm lens.

I have posted 3 sample shots taken at Denver Botanic Gardens and 19 shots from having spent 4 weeks in South Africa to the image gallery for this lens. This was a great lens to take on an extended vacation where multiple camera bodies and lenses would have weighed me down more and the dusty conditions of an African safari make it difficult to cleanly change lenses (not to mention that wildlife often does not wait for you to switch your camera gear around!) There were some times during my vacation when I wished that I had my 17-55 f/2.8 with my travel-sized tripod, but for most shots, you would have to squint at the pixel level to notice differences in the sharpness of daytime shots (i.e. 11x14" and 13x19" prints look great!)

December 14 2009 update add-on to my original review: Even though I keep thinking about eventually moving to full-frame, I just got the Canon 7D (still keeping my 40D, and wondering what to do with my 30D), and as a daily "only one lens and only one camera body" walkabout/travel combination, this 18-200mm lens ROCKS when used with my spanky new 7D :-)))) My other favorite combination, when I do not mind lugging the extra bulk and weight, is to carry both the 70-200mm f/4L on my 40D and my 17-55mm f/2.8 on my 7D, with the 7D in the hand and the 40D in the Think Tank Digital Holster 30. My issue with just carrying only a 17-55m or 17-85mm as a general walkabout lens is that, all too often, I find interesting things to photograph that need more than a 55mm or 85mm reach, especially when it comes to photographing wildlife or strangers (e.g. I like shooting "everyday people doing everyday things" in foreign countries) and trying to get closer to the subject may not be practical. Diamond Sharpener - diamond sharpener, sharpening stones

This product is great...easy to store, easy to use, very portable...the cover is built in. Due to the high quality diamond surface it sharpens much faster than a regular sharpener, it doesn't require any additional oils(just water if you want to), just rinse off the polka dot pattern of what's left from sharpening and you're done. It's handy to have around the house to do a 'quick few strokes' to sharpen whatever tool you happen to be using. The sharpener has 2 grits built in. I like that it's made in the US.

had great success reviving dull router bits with this tool. i wish the whetstone part was a bit thinner to fit between the carbide tip and anti-kickback finger on my freud saw blade, however DMT offers smaller 'file' shaped whetstones better suited for saw blades.

Love this product. Have been using it for a about 6 month now. It works fast and I was able to get the feel for sharpening my henkel and wusthof kitchen knives. I even bring this with me when I go over to my relatives. They love their knives when I am done with them. Takes a little getting used to sharpening by hand, but once you do there is no turning back. I now keep all my knives razor sharp. Two different grades of the stone are fantastic. I would definitely recommend this product.

This product works well, but is a bit small for some of my larger kitchen knives. They do make a Diafold sharpener block which would be more appropriate for those, but I obviously did not do enough research!

I want to keep it short and sweet. I am deployed in the middle east we are using our fixed blade and folding knifes like crazy, this sharpener is what we now rely on.

I have had it for just under a week, I have sharpened over 12 blades they all come out great and less than 5 minutes maybe up to 10 depending on the condition of the blade.

I am buying the fine extra fine sharpener today in fact to get a better edge.

The coarse side really gets blades back into form. I use this differently than most as I grip the handle with the sharpening part point down at an angle I want to sharpen and then brace the bottom part. Then I just go straight up and down with the knife. The fine side gets knives to a nice sharp point, but often I find the coarse is good enough for most purposes and leaves some 'bite' to the blade. If you need help keeping an angle, they make a magnetic angle guide. Just a really versatile sharpener. One complaint that is easily rectified...I kept forgetting which was coarse...blue or red. I just used a sharpie to mark it on the handle.

The handle is sturdy enough for the intended uses. The coarse side is good for repairing a very worn or chipped edge, and the fine side is perfect for putting a good working edge on any knife or edged tool. Please note that diamond sharpeners remove metal fast -- use this item carefully and stop frequently to check your progress, particularly on non-stainless steels. The butterfly handle is a wonderful feature, protecting the sharpening surfaces from dirt and damage and making the tool compact and easy to include in a toolbox.

I really have little to add to all the five-star reviews. This is the best diamond sharpener I've ever used. I use it routinely to sharpen everything, including my Swiss Army knife, kitchen knives, axes... Practical, pocket-sized, long-lasting, and the perfect combination Fine/Coarse grits. I don't really think most people will need the model with the Extra-Fine grit; just use the Fine grit with very light pressure and you'll get a polished, razor-sharp blade - unless you're a chef and require perfect finishing on your knives.

The only additional recommendation I would make is, if you are not very experienced at constantly keeping the correct angle when sharpening a knife, get also the DMT AM Angle Mate Accessory. This is a magnetic angle guide that grips the diamond surface and provides the sharpening angle recommended by DMT and appropriate for most knives, at 20 degrees. For me this is an essential accessory, as the sharpening process is MUCH faster and more precise when you maintain the proper angle, and I find that almost impossible without the guide.

Thanks for reading - hope this helps!

I have used a lot of knifes over the years and always keep a pocket knife in my pocket. I never leave the house with out it and I always sharpen it.

This sharpener is absolutely incredible. 3 slides on each side 3 times and flip it over to the fine side and 3 times on each side and it is razor sharp.

Thank you for an awesome product! - Sharpener - Sharpening Stones - Sharpening Tools - Fathers Day - Diamond Sharpener - Diamond Stone'

Powerpoint - office 2010, microsoft

Like the other reviewers have said up to this point this is a great book. As the cover say it is Plain and Simple. So if you're looking for something that will teach you Microsoft Office inside out then you should look to another book. This book will help you to get a basic understanding of how to use each of the Office Professional 2010 applications. There is more emphasis placed on Word, Excel and power-point than the rest. The other programs Outlook, Publisher, One-note, Access and just a general overview of how the programs work together compose the lesser portion of the book. I think that it gives and adequate coverage of the applications.

I Enjoy the very colorful pages that it has. It helps to make the learning go by faster. Basically the book is screen shots bullet points showing you exactly how to do things. If you are new to any of the programs you could get this book and it will help you have a good enough knowledge to increase your productivity. I have never used outlook before and this worked it out beautifully. I got my emails all set up and and my schedule all good. This program has wonderful organization helps and it looks beautiful too.

Pros:

Very colorful, pictures and great labeling.

Simple well thought-out explanations on how to do basic, commonly used tasks in all the Microsoft office professional edition.

Good index and table of contents helps user to quickly locate what they want when they want.

Overall book flow is great.

Book can be read from start to finish or picked up in selected locations so that the user can understand virtually any part without reading what has came before it.

Great price for what you get.

Cons:

Possibly too brief of an overview for some of the programs. If you are wanting a lot of details then this book may not be right for you.

If you're looking for a Plain and Simple guide to Microsoft Office look no further, but if you're wanting more details for a certain program then I would suggest looking for another book. Microsoft Office 2010 Plain & Simple

Like the other books in the "Plain and Simple" series, this book gives straight forward instructions about how to accomplish various tasks in Microsoft Office. While I am an experienced user of Microsoft Office, this book still has given me several new ideas about how to use the program suite. It does an excellent job of introducing new features in Office 2010.

As always, the "Plain and Simple" books do not use a lot of jargon, but get down to the subject in a clear concise way.

First I am not a fan of quick and easy computer books simply because I outgrow them in just a few days. That said I will also say that this book is easy to read the illustrations are easy to see and there is a host of more information in this book than in most easy type books.

It is a book for beginners to the somewhat more advanced type of people. Each chapter is easy to read and understand, just be sure to be sitting at the computer so you can go through the exercises in this book.

This book was perfect for showing me very quickly how Windows 7 works after I came in both Office 2001 and also from Vista to Windows 7. And there are more difference that I realized. This book got me up and running in just one day and saved me quite a lot of time.

Great book and it is worth the money I paid for it!

For anyone looking to learn Microsoft Office in the easiest way possible, you cannot go wrong with this book. Printed in beautiful FULL COLOR, this book will show all newbies the ins and outs of using Microsoft Office so you can be creating amazing results in no time at all!!

The writing is tight, the pictures jump out at the page, and this is amazing. I simply cannot believe how much you get for so little money. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher, OneNote and more, it's all here.

Is this book for power users that want to learn how to do everything and anything in these apps? No, but that's not the target demographic here. If you want a book that will show you the basics and do it in an easy to learn way, look no further!!

***** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This book is very informative, yet not overly complex for one to understand. The basics of the Microsoft 2010 programs are velly well explained and the illustrations make it easy and fun to learn even the more complex ideas. One of the best software books that I have ever read, and would highly recomend it to any beginner as well as the more advanced student who wants to learn and apply Miscrosoft 2010 programs.

I borrowed this book at my public library and liked it so much at the current price on amazon that I bought my own copy. Microsoft Office 2010 Plain & Simple enhances the suite. The built-in and online Help systems and the many online help forums available for Office 2010 are great resources for figuring out the minutiae of the software, but this manual gives you the essential overview that you miss unless you spend a lot of relatively inefficient time exploring the "Getting Started" section of the built-in Help system, something I rarely do.

PROS:

Shows you how to use the programs in your Office 2010 suite and demonstrates features you didn't even know you wanted until the book highlighted them for you. Shows you how the programs in your suite interact with one another. There's a reason it's designed as a suite, but some folks never move beyond using limited features and programs in isolation. Has lots of tips and tricks to speed your work and make your Office 2010 output grab the viewer's eye.

Has labeled color illustrations showing exactly how to quickly locate and execute the command sequence being discussed, as you can see from amazon's illustrations from the book. I hate it when other software instructions tell me to click this or click that, when the main problem is that I can't find what I'm supposed to click in the software. Extremely aggravating! That doesn't happen with this book,

Pitched at just the right level. Doesn't talk down to the reader and assume someone new to computers or Windows, but also doesn't assume Office expertise. Avoids the annoying, distracting humor(??) of some other third-party software help manuals. Has a detailed Index in the back. Has wide pages so the book stays open to the page you want without being held down so you can see a page while using a keyboard or mouse.

CON(??):

It's not comprehensive. I see another review here from another user who gave this book one star primarily because it didn't tell him how to do the one particular thing he wanted help with. I understand why that's a CON for him, but really, it's not for me, because such a comprehensive manual would have to be much more expensive and the size of the Manhattan Yellow Pages or a multi-volume set, and it would be much less approachable for readers seeking an overview. That's what the Help systems built in to the software and the online forums do better. You can also buy single volume Plain & Simple manuals for many individual programs in the Office suite that go into more detail if you use that program heavily and prefer books to online Help. (I haven't seen the Microsoft Word 2010 Plain & Simple book, but I bet our unhappy reviewer's question was answered there.)

Overall, highly recommended. - Excel - Microsoft - Word - Office 2010'

Mothers Day - keyes, jewelry

I have quite a few long beaded necklaces and chains as well as bracelets and bangles. I've tried jewelry armoires, jewelry boxes, plastic organizers, drawer organizers, and either couldnt fit everything because of space limitations or because some items were too bulky. I ended up not wearing many things because I just couldn't see what I had. This organizer is fantastic! I have it on the inside of my bedroom closet door so that when I'm getting ready for work I can just choose my jewelry quickly before I go. I can see everything at the same time and find I wear things I haven't in a long time because they're right in front of me. I also stay more organized and put things away when I come home at night because It's quick to replace what I've worn...no more opening drawers, lifting out little boxes or plastic trays, etc. (maybe I was lazy but I'd end up taking things off and just set them on my dresser...and usually wear the same thing the next day)

I've used the small hooks at the top (the ones shown with rings) for additional necklace storage for my small pendants on 18" or 20" chains. I have to reach behind the bracelet rack to hang them but it's really no trouble and works great for me since I have too many large fashion rings to hang anyway. That's the only downfall, that there's limited ring storage. i still keep them in a drawer in a plastic compartmentalized tray. There is a nice little tray on this organizer where I put my watches which could certainly be used for rings.

I've filled my organizer up and plan on getting another for inside my other closet door since I've started learning how to make jewelry. Amazon has the best price for this organizer too... I looked at a few organizing supply websites and compared prices. The vendor was super quick in delivery. I placed my order in the morning and I believe I had it the next day. I would definitely recommend this product. I feel like I finally found the solution to my organizing dilemma. Overdoor/Wall Jewelry Organizer in White By Longstem - Unique patented product - Rated Best

My concern of ordering this jewelry organizer was that it was going to be much smaller (and flemsy) than I expected. Much to my delight, the organizer is a good size and works great! Although I purchased it mainly to store my necklaces, I'm using the earring holder, too. At first, I hesitated because of the price, but I shopped around and decided it was a competitive price (compared to buying a standing jewelry armoire). If you buy more than one, the shipping cost is the same (I bought two others for gifts).

Just received the jewelry organizer by Longstem. I received it sooner than expected, which was a nice surprise. It came very well packaged, and was just as described. It can be used as either an over the door organizer, or it comes with additional hardware so it can be hung on a wall. I chose the over the door option so all I had to do was basically take it out of the box, click a couple of pieces together, and hang it up. Very easy.

It is a sturdy item, appears to be well built, and has plenty of spaces for various jewelry items. It is actually a little more than I need at the moment, so it gives me space for additional items in the future. I am very pleased with this item as it is exactly as it was described. No unpleasant surprises! I would recommend it.

I have been looking for rack that offered a multitude of functionality and was a space saver as well. I had seen this rack on several websites but because the call it an over the door rack, I almost missed that it could be wall mounted too...which is what I was looking for. Super easy to put up, I can see all my necklaces now and have room for more!

The Overdoor Jewelry Organizer was very easy to assemble. Just had to attach the top with the bottom. Put in three screws to stabilize it on the door and boom done. It looks just as the photo is shown. Definitely a great buy, and would recommend it for anyone who needs a place to store their jewelry. :)

I can't tell you how nice it is to have some space back on my dresser. After seeing all my jewelery on this one organizer, I can't believe I fit so much on the dresser! I just love this organizer. It arrived in great condition, and only took me about a minute to assemble it and hang it on the back of my bedroom door. It looks great, and all my jewelry is easy to access. I used to have a fit getting some of my earrings off my earring tree. Don't have that problem with this.

It holds all my jewelery, plus my husband's watch collection, and I still have room to grow! I definitely recommend this to anyone - money well spent!

I was really upset at first because it did not look like the picture at all...turns out I had put the bottom part on upside down. :-) After I figured out my mistake, I was really happy and it works great for me and my formerly unorganized jewelry. Quick shipping too. Thanks!

After I opened the shipping box, I let this item sit for a few days because it looked like it was complicated to assemble. I was completely wrong. It could not have been easier. I chose the over the door option and secured the organizer with one middle screw which was enough to keep the organizer from bouncing whenever I opened the closet door. All hardware for over door or wall mounting was included. After about 10 minutes I was ready to take all of my costume jewelry, which I kept in several places trying to keep it organized and place it on this spacious organizer. Everything is now visible and in one spot. I don't have to search all over looking for that one elusive piece of jewelry every morning.

I would have like to give the organizer five stars, but had to take one off because of the height. I'm pretty tall and I have some trouble seeing all the items as I would like to. If you are a shorter person you will not be happy with the over the door mount because you would have trouble seeing and reaching the jewelry stored at the top of the unit. A better option would be to mount the unit on the wall. - Jewelry - Dad - Keyes - Bracelets'

Digital Slr

Don't let the title put you off. The word "Dummies" might cause some folks to look elsewhere without even considering the content. I got started taking photos with a large Graflex press camera that used film plates (like you see the Press guys using in the old black and white movies) and have done my share of photography over the years.

With the advent of digital cameras, and especially the more recent high end DSLR models, there's whole new realm of information to master. Whether you're a seasoned photographer graduating from film (remember film?) to a new digital SLR monster, or someone having their first experience with a point and shoot digital camera, this book will have a wealth of knowledge to help you enjoy your visual passion. Digital SLR Photography All-in-One For Dummies

This book AWESOME!!!! If you are a beginner know nothing about DSLR or know little bit for DSLR photography, then this book is for you. In this book, it describe everything in detail, also the LANGUAGE that we can EASY to UNDERSTAND as a beginner. You will love this book. I can say this is a bible for a beginner.

This book is awesome. The only downside is that it often makes a reference to a table or photo or reference but it's on the next page which can be a little confusing. The editor could have paid more attention to that but over all the content is great!'
