Screen Protector - ipad cover, ipad accessory

I was looking for case to protect my iPad from scratches and I came across this one. It is cheaper than the iLuv clear case but it doesn't come with a stand like the iLuv. The main different between the 2 is that this one is made of clear rubber and the iLuv is more thick plastic.

It is easy to put on and makes the iPad looks amazing. The design on the back enhances Apple aluminum original design. I wanted something that didn't alter that design because that makes the iPad a winner. The product pictures doesn't really do justice on how the case looks and feels like.

As an extra they include a screen protect film. This film is not well cut and it would be better if you cut it 2 to 3 millimeters on the bottom part before you apply it because it will make you bubbles.

Other than that I recommend this product to anyone who is looking to preserve the original iPad look. CrazyOnDigital Apple iPad Clear Wave Premium Crystal Candy TPU Silicone Skin Case/Precut LCD Screen Guard/Protector

This is the second case we tried - the first one was thicker and opaque. This one is thinner and translucent, with a pattern all over the back. We returned the first one mainly because the iPad could not be charged or synced with the case on - we had to remove the bottom edge of the case - the opening for the cable connector was too small. It would also not fit in the dock with the case on, but that may not be possible with ANY case. This one allows charging and syncing, and is nice and thin, so it doesn't make the iPad too bulky. The only thing they could improve on a bit is the grip - the plastic is shiny, and not as grippy as it could be, but it still works as advertised, and is a good deal for the money.

Overall, the skin is nice. It's not hard plastic, it's more rubbery and flexible which is what I wanted. While it was nice that this came with a free screen guard, I couldnt apply it without getting bubbles in it and the cut seemed slightly off. I ended up throwing it out and will look elsewhere for one.

I agree with previous reviews. This case looks amazing. It fits just right and has a nice soft feel to it. It's smooth, not "sticky" like some softer silicone cases. My one major gripe with it is that my iPad would not sit securely on the dock with this case. The case isn't cut to accommodate the dock, at least not with a tight enough fit to allow charging. The hole in the case allows the charging cord only. Using an exacto knife, I enlarged the hole, so I can dock and charge the iPad without taking the case off. I liked the design and feel of the case so much, I decided to try modify it rather than exchange it. Never did get the screen protector on--way too many bubbles that were impossible to get out.

I was shocked and angry when I received this skin with a 4 inch CrazyOnDigital Logo on this skin. Do they really think I want to spend my money to advertise for them. Obviously they are aware that people would be less likely to make this purchase if they knew, because it is not shown on the photo or described. I feel like I've been duped.

This is a good little case but some of the white paint transferred to the back of my iPad and it can't be removed. I'm not sure if others have experienced this issue or not but I wanted to make folks aware of this before purchasing.

Size, look, feel is awesome but the skin has a big open to shows your apple in the back of your ipad. that open doesn't shows in the product picture in the amazon.com, I m very disappointed. anyway, its only cost me 6 dollars something, it is a good lesson for buying the after market apple products from amazon(do not believe what you see for the pictures).

I have a Macally Metrobpad on my iPad and have been completely satisfied with it's back protection. My boyfriend is a bit less gentle with his toys, so I ordered this for his. I could not believe the POOR fit. Most noticeable is the inability to access the on off switch on the top of the iPad. It appears like ithe plastic should have been removed in that area but was not. Took a razor knife and sloppily cut it out ( due to the thickness of the material). As my boyfriend will be taking his iPad to Germany in a few days, he needs access to the sim card slot. This time, there is not even the appearance of perforation. It would be impossible to cut that out. Additionally, the Apple OEM USB cable pops out of the opening for it.

Granted this only cost $7 something, but, it was still a waste of money. I will be ordering another Macally.

We went through at least 10 cases and screen protectors for the iPads in the house. Some are great, others not.

This is a great buy, and my personal favorite. Let's break it down really fast for would-be purchasers:

Pros

Fit: Fits snug and perfect, all ports easily accessible, hole present for speakers, moulded perfect for all buttons.

Material: Great! A little more rubbery than most silicone cases, so this is like a cross between a hard case and a soft case. The material grips well, but isn't "sticky". This helps it sit on legs or a stand better, but isn't so rubbery as to be annoying.

Look: Great! The semi-clear material allows you to keep that apple aesthetic while protecting the iPad. This is the best looking case we found. It is a very snug fit and is rather thin, so you get protection without adding a lot of bulk.

Screen protector: CHECK IT OUT! We went through four brands of screen protectors. Anyone who has tried knows this can be tricky. They get bubbles, lint can get under them, and they're a pain to apply. This one was THE BEST. It went on fast and easy, and looks perfect. It was the only one to do this. (see tips below)

Cost: A GREAT Value

Cons

None that we can tell. The model I got has a hole cut out for the Apple logo. This could result in scratching in the future, but I'm not sure that's a big concern.

Tips for a perfect screen protector application:

To get the best application, clean your iPad and work surface well with a damp lint-free cloth. Use canned air to spray off any add'l lint. Apply the screen protector SLOWLY from the home button end upward, removing the backing as you go to minimize lint/trapped air. Once it's in place, use a credit card and/or cotton swab to patiently brush out any air. Do this BEFORE removing the top protective layer, since the removal of air can scratch the film if you do it after the upper protective layer is peeled off. Look things over carefully with the iPad turned off. If there is any lint or dust trapped, NOW is the time to peel the layer up and remove them. It is impossible to do this after both protective films are removed, and you will ruin the screen protector. If things look good, very slowly peel off the top layer, making sure not to pull too hard so as to allow air back under the screen protector. Viola - with a little patience you'll have a perfect application! Do you need this? YES! One of our iPads has lived in a relatively tame home office only environment. It has never been dropped or anything, and there are some minor scratching. Whatever Apple - this spendy toy NEEDS screen protection. - Ipad Accessory - Ipad Cover - Ipad Screen Protector - Ipad'
