Wireless Light Switch - as seen on tv, wireless switch

Bought three of these with 5 other items from Amazon sellers. This was the last to show up of all 5, and by far the worst. The package states the range to be 33 feet but after trying all three...they all only work within approx 3 feet. It will work about 1 out of every 10 tries from 5 feet.

They come without batteries, and require a 2032 watch battery (which costs between 5-7 dollars each)

Contrary to the image here..this is NOT a switch. It is a button...(no little switch to flick like a regular light switch)

The product is made of cheap, soft, bendable plastic (The kind that you could rip into two pieces if you worked hard enough).

I've never wrote a review before..but felt compelled here..as this is absolutely the worst product I've EVER purchased and feel incredibly scammed. Handy Trends Perfect Switch (White)

Product performs as stated, but need a "direct line of view" from switch to socket insert. Since socket was behind sofa, I had to rearrange furnature in order for switch to work. Also, did not like "switch". I have a similar product ("Handy Switch") that I like better because it works exactly like a wall switch from anywhere in the room. Would not recommend this product; spend a few dollars more on actual "Handy Switch".

This product does not work. It worked one or two times if held inches from the receiver. I would also like to point out that this is not the product that was advertised on TV. It is not to be confused with the Handy Switch. It is a very crude knock off. I bought two of them and they both failed to work and contained no adhesive to secure it to the wall despite the package saying "just peel and press" Do not buy.

Great idea, but a complete waste of $10. I purchased as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend because we have no light switch in our walk-in closet. Took it out of the package (all exited), plugged it in and flipped the switch. It worked once or twice when holding it directly in front of the receiver(2 inches away), but decided that it had had enough and stopped working. I would return it, but it isn't worth spending another dime for the shipping. So disappointing...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't give this any rating at all. Its total garbage. what good is a light switch that only works when it feels like it and has to be within 3ft of the socket AND in the line of site of the thing. SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy an actual handy switch..i thought this was going to be the same thing but its garbage

Got one of these off a popular auction site.. What a piece of junk! while the transmitter did work for me with the included batteries... the unit could not stay on for more than 2 seconds....didnt matter how much i tried to switch it back on... 2 seconds and it shut off... needless to say I will be returning the product! AND not buying another. Also note this product does not carry any UL listings etc anywhere I could find...

I got one when they first came out, worked with issues for me, lost the switch part during a move and really wanted another one. But came across this recall notice when searching outside of Amazon for this product. Many other like products exist on Amazon, sadly I liked the nightlight and removable portable 'wall' switch.
