Leather Wallet - trifold, trifold wallet

This wallet is characterized by its high quality, stylishness, and ease of use, all three. The quality of the leather and stitching is excellent. Credit cards are easy to access, as is the separate compartment for a driver's license. I highly recommend this wallet. Nautica Men's Trifold Wallet, Brown, One Size

Incredible wallet! This is the same sized wallet as any other. Doesn't hold alot of cards, but i don't have alot. It's not bulky or too thick.

I look forward to several years of use. I can see my Driver ID clearly through the window without removing it. Regular prided or on sale, you can't go wrong. There is a metal logo on the wallet. I don't feel it when i sit.I like that it has a fabric seam about the photo ID compartment. This makes for complete folding and closure. The trifold style is great. It's my preference.

This is a great wallet and i recommend it to anyone needing a nice and durable wallet for everyday needs, it has lots of compartments to put all you important documents. It comes with 6 cards pockets in the middle and right side of the wallet, on the left side it has a see trough pocket with a hole in the middle to slide out easily any card, plus it comes with a plastic multi-pocket where you can put 4 more cards. On the upper side where you put the money its really spacious so you wont have any problems putting a big amount of money in there. In general this is a nice looking wallet that will last at least for a few years, don't think it twice buy it now.

I got this wallet for my husband's birthday.

His old one was falling apart. Everything he

had from his old wallet, fit nicely in this

new "Nautica Wallet".

He has been using it now for about three weeks,

and he really likes it. This wallet is made well,

and only after a week my husband said, it was

breaking in quite well.

I just received this wallet and immediately discovered that it is not a good travel wallet for anyone who travels overseas and/or has multiple credit cards. It is not tall enough for most foreign bills, and it will hold only a very few cards and still be foldable. It might work otherwise, but definitely is not suitable for those who have much to fill it with.

This is a great product, genuine leather, cool design, and lots of pockets, the only down size is that the credit cards pockets are a bit small, if yo only have 4 cards your good, but if you have 6 or more you will find yourself jamming your cards in and out every time you need to use them.

I gave this wallet to my husband for Christmas to replace his 7 year old wallet which was starting to fall a part. Maybe I was expecting a much better wallet based on all of the reviews, but it's just a wallet. The leather is ok and is really stiff. My husband doesn't have much in his wallet but when he puts it down it unfolds itself. It's been a month and will probably take a lot longer to get broken in. He hasn't comment on it, which makes me think he isn't that fond of it. Hope it lasts awhile, but next time I won't be replacing it with the same wallet.

Very stylish wallet. Tiny, but long enough to hold your credit cards, currency and even a couple of coins. Leather seems to be quality crafted, but I'll have to see on that after some more usage.

I'm very pleased so far.

DECEMBER 30, 2009 UPDATE:

It's official: this is by far the BEST wallet I've ever had; I've been using it for almost a year now and it keeps looking almost as good as new; only the metal 'Nautica' plaque on the outside has lost a notch of shine, but that's it; everything else (interior sewing, leather, inner compartments) are still pristine. Quality definitely was seriously taken into consideration with this product.

Nautica makes an incredibly fine wallet with this trifold wallet made of polished leather! This leather wallet is truly a multi-purpose holder; and a great deal for any guy on a budget who still wants an excellent quality, sturdy wallet that is not cheaply made. The wallet is made of cowhide leather; I love it! The Nautica logo adds an extra touch of class, too.

The see through leather framed ID card window allows you to show identification cards or a driver's license without having to take it out of the holder; I appreciate that feature. I use it for my driver's license. There are a whopping nine (yes, nine) credit card compartments and this wallet is quite well manufactured for years of use holding money and other things like tickets inside the main body of this wallet. It comes in either a rather dark brown (which I have) or black; and it will last you many years with proper care.

Overall, this fine wallet should last you forever with the proper care; and that makes it a good deal at the cost of $19.99 as I write this. I highly recommend this wallet for young people, any guy on a budget and people bumming around doing errands. Although it can go with attire for a formal occasion or a dressy work environment, it's not literally the very best trifold style wallet to go with your attire for a formal occasion. Other more stylish (but more expensive) wallets in that category can be found for sale on this website. - Accessories - Trifold - Billfold - Trifold Wallet'

Case - samsung galaxy s

When I originally bought my Vibrant the only case available was the single piece silicone style. While those do a good job of protecting the phone I found it very difficult to take out of my pocket. It always seemed to stick to the fabric. I bought this one recently and I am enjoying it. The fit is good, the material as the other review pointed out is not too slippery and not too sticky. Combine this with a screen protector and you won't need to worry about dropping your phone. The cutouts provide easy access to the buttons and for under $10 it's a good value. Samsung Vibrant / Galaxy S T959 Black Rubberized Hard Cover Crystal Case

this company sells quality, and outstanding product. the price was very resenable. very good quality and worth the price and i reccommend to any and everybody to buy your product here, i promise you wont regret it or be dissappointed.

After the clear case I had broke (my daughter mischievously tried to filch my phone out of my pocket and dropped it on the tile floor at a pet store) I liked the look and feel of this case. I still like the look and feel of it - it's not slippery yet not super clingy to my pocket. But when I got it I found that the cover at the top didn't quite fit right and it wouldn't *quite* snap shut. I guess after a short while that stress added up and the case snapped along the top above the USB cutout - while in my pocket.

97 cents, and hardly a bargain at that price.

I bought this case specifically because the photo indicated that it did not look to have the "extended" casing on the front part of the phone (the area with the speaker, camera, etc. Unfortunately, it has the front covering as well as you see in many other case pictures. It is also a pretty bulky case. I wouldn't recommend it. - Samsung Galaxy S'

High Definition - screen, lcd hdtv

The GE screen cleaning "system" isn't really a system, but it works pretty well. The bottle of cleaning spray is a decent size, when compared with other products. The cleaning cloth is good and does not scratch the screen. I would have liked it to be a bit larger. The anti-static brush works well too, however it is rather cheap and flimsy and way too small, especially if you have an LCD TV over 40".

With these minor gripes aside, I found the product cleaned my screen beautifully, removing a large fingerprint smear, dust, and some specks of dirt. I bought mine at Target for $7.69, but it is definitely worth the $10 here on Amazon. The only addition I can think of would be to include a storage case for the three pieces. GE 22557 LCD/Plasma TV Screen Cleaning System

I have an dell lcd that had some residue, probably leftover from some other cleaning product. I had tried some disposable lcd cleaning wipes from the same company but they did not work. Hesitant to buy another cleaning product from the same company, I purchased this cleaning kit. I followed the directions and it worked beautifully!! My lcd is like new and flawless! I also cleaned the screen on my toshiba NB205 and it was beautiful. Recommend this product to anyone with an lcd. I do wish however it came with a case to keep the stuff organized and not get the cloth dirty. Also the cap on the spray comes off easily. Plenty of liquid cleaner tho, excellent product.

I bought this solution to use on my Panasonic plasma. I chose this one based on the reviews here. I was very nervous and anxious to see the results. I took the advice here and bought separate cloths (Cables Unlimted ACCFIBER6 Ultra Absorbent Microfiber Cleaning Cloths (6 Pack). I'm glad I did, as the included cloth feels much scratchier.

The results were fantastic. The solution took off some serious smudges left by my toddler. I also cleaned my old LCD monitor and even a blu-ray disk. Sprayed on the cloth, gently wiping, and poof! Everything looks good as new.

I'm very pleased with the results.

I bought this LCD screen about a year ago and use to clean the screen on an iMac and 17" MacBook Pro. In addition I also use to clean lenses for cameras. A few sprays does the job for both computers and a single spray for my cameras. The product lives up to its claims and then some, leaving screens clean of fingerprints and smudges and my lenses crystal clear. I'm finicky about screens and lenses and use the product on the average 2 or more times a week on the computers and every time I change lenses on a camera. Best of all of the 6.7 ounces that came in the bottle I guesstimate there to be 5 ounces left. each spray delivers a very small amount and that's all that is needed.

I have now used this about six times, and it has done the job admirably. The little brush is just not quite useful enough, but it gets the job done (only downer in the system). Other than that, great product, will definitely buy again.

I got this for my computer and, for whatever reason, was expecting the spray bottle and brush to be much smaller. I think this will last me for years (not just two years, either). My only complaint, like other reviewers, is that it doesn't come with some sort of container to keep them all together. This is good stuff! - Lcd Hdtv - High Definition - Screen - Cleaning'

Milwaukee - nailer, air tools

This is my third framing nailer. My first was a DeWalt D51823 which had cost me $275 and lasted 9 months. It misfired and jammed so often that it was barely useable. I replaced it with a Hitachi NR90AA which, along with the optional trigger, cost me well over $400. I used it for a couple of years and it rarely ever jammed nor misfired. I purchased a Milwaukee 7110 framing nailer to replace the Hitachi after it broke. At nearly half the price of the Hitachi and quite a bit cheaper then the DeWalt, I was worried that I might be buying something I couldn't rely on. Right out of the box, this nailer seemed like a VERY high quality tool. Very sturdy construction and with precise adjustments.

After 6 months of use, my worries are gone. This nailer is flawless. It has not jammed or misfired yet, which is extraordinary. It double fires on rare occasions, but only when switched to 'contact actuation'. It's very lightweight and rugged (easily brushed off a 15-foot story fall just recently). The ability to switch from sequential to contact actuation firing modes with a simple switch is ingenious (both my other nailers required disassembling the trigger assembly!). The depth adjustment works quite well (providing you don't use the non-mar tip) and firing is very smooth and balanced.

On the job, we use several Senco 701XP framing nailers. All of which have jamming, misfiring, and double firing problems, yet they cost $100 more then the Milwaukee. The Milwaukee is also the lightest of the bunch (7.0 lbs, compared to 7.5 lbs for DeWalt, 8.0 lbs for Senco, and a hefty 8.8 for Hitachi). The height is a bit longer (1" longer then DeWalt, 1/2" longer then Senco, but 3/8" shorter then Hitachi), but it has the shortest length and smallest tip, so it seems to get in smaller areas a bit better then the rest. Lastly, the air usage is a bit higher then the Hitach and DeWalt (.130 cfm for Milwaukee vs .072 cfm for DeWalt, .100 cfm for Hitachi, and .160 cfm for Senco), but that's a very minor concern for me.

One thing I would like to have seen is a case... I don't know why Milwaukee chose to leave this tool as their only air tool without a case to protect it during transit.

Overall, this is easily the best framing nailer I've ever used. Pair that up with it being the cheapest framing nailer I've ever used, and I can't help but solidly recommend this to anyone.

Also, I've seen a lot of erroneous information concerning who actually manufactures Milwaukee's line of air tools and the Rigid/Milwaukee relationship. Techtronic Industries (TTI) owns Milwaukee and Emerson owns Rigid. These are two entirely different companies and neither of which owns the other (which had been incorrectly claimed by another reviewer). Emerson has a deal with One World Technologies, a subsidiary of TTI, for Milwaukee to supply them with various tools to sell under their Rigid tool line, particularly Milwaukee's air tools line. These tools are 100% Milwaukee and are license to be sold by Rigid, with the only difference being the Rigid logo and body color. Milwaukee 7110-20 2- to 3-1/2-Inch Clipped Head Framing Nailer

I own four other tools from milwauke, that I have had for more than 5 years. They are very reliable and I love them. None of them pneumatic tools. I have 3 nailers, one a Porter-Cable and two Bostitch. Happy with both brands.

I went out on a limb when I decided to buy this Milwaukee nailer. They are not known for nailers and I thought they probably re-brand some other nailer. The price was right and it did say that it was magnesium housing.

It comes in a box, no case. My first impression when I picked up the box was that it felt that there was nothing in there.

But there is. For its size a suprisingly light framing nailer. Just the type I wanted. You also get a pair of safety glasses, throw those away, and a tiny oil bottle and couple of hex keys.

Easy to load, no jams so far, (used about 500 nails) and you can work with it all day long and not have a sore arm. I've used the single and continuous fire with no problems. I have used it in a house after demolition, with lots of dust and dirt around. I am used to just leaving my other milwaukee tools around on the floor and they have held up very well. This nailer is no exception, holds up well to abuse in on the site.

Overall an excellent nailer for the money, and if it is a re-branded tool, good choice Milwaukee!

Personally I've tried Porter-Cable and Hitachi framing nailer. Porter-Cable is heavy, you don't want to carry it for more

than 10 mins and is lacking some neat features like tool-free depth adjustment... Hitachi is light, but you gotta pay more bucks.

Milwaukee framing nailer is even lighter than Hitachi and at the saome time packed with features you wish for. Great nailer, buy it!

Lite weight framing nailer. Really like the single shot switch. Good for toe nailing without the double shot other nailers sometimes do. Been a carpenter for many years, found it hard to give up my hammer. Don't mind not using it as often now. Milwaukee took all the bugs out of framing nailers. Well worth waiting for.

These guns are great. I purchased 2 clipped head on one round head milwaukee nailers and they are all awesome. I have gone through 7000 nails in a month with no jams, or miss fires in any of the 3 guns.

I relied on the good reviews here on Amazon when buying this tool and I'm very glad I did. This is only the second pneumatic framing nailer I've used, though I've been doing woodworking and carpentry (not professionally) for over 30 years. I do have staplers and a nice Hitachi 16ga nailer, as well as a great palm nailer.

I switched to using screws for building my shop a few years ago and was pretty happy with the strength of the structure, plus the benefit that I could easily make changes as I went by just taking out the screws and re-doing it. This time I decided I didn't have the time and energy to drive that many screws, so I borrowed my brother's nailer. He's building a house next door and wasn't using his framing nailer at the time. It was heavy and kicked like a mule, misfiring often and turning nails into worms (though it may have been the low quality of the Chinese nails he had on hand). So I decided to invest in one of my own.

I thank all of you previous buyers for steering me to the best nailer I could have bought. It's light, soooooo easy to load and switch nail size, easy to adjust head depth... And for some reason the angle is and business end are just right that I had no trouble at all getting into tight spaces to deliver a nail exactly where I wanted.

Loading is so much easier with this machine than any I've seen. Most require opening hatches, unsnapping springs, etc. The Milwaukee just has a slot at the back where you drop in another clip and pull back an easy release on the side to push the clip forward. Removing them is as simple as pushing a button on the release that allows the clip to fall back to a spring stop, which you easily press and the clip comes right out the slot in the back... simple and ingenious!

Adjusting the head depth is as easy as turning a knob, because that's all you have to do.

But firing this baby is the neatest thing... it doesn't seem to be working at all to drive a full 3 1/2 inch 16d without any bounce, EVERY time... no misfire, no jam...PERFECT.

This tool saved me so much time on my addition I think it paid for itself the first week! Thank you Milwaukee and thank you Amazon for the great deal... and thanks again reviewers! - Framing Nailers - Nailer - Milwaukee - Air Tools'

Screen Protector - ipad cover, ipad accessory

I was looking for case to protect my iPad from scratches and I came across this one. It is cheaper than the iLuv clear case but it doesn't come with a stand like the iLuv. The main different between the 2 is that this one is made of clear rubber and the iLuv is more thick plastic.

It is easy to put on and makes the iPad looks amazing. The design on the back enhances Apple aluminum original design. I wanted something that didn't alter that design because that makes the iPad a winner. The product pictures doesn't really do justice on how the case looks and feels like.

As an extra they include a screen protect film. This film is not well cut and it would be better if you cut it 2 to 3 millimeters on the bottom part before you apply it because it will make you bubbles.

Other than that I recommend this product to anyone who is looking to preserve the original iPad look. CrazyOnDigital Apple iPad Clear Wave Premium Crystal Candy TPU Silicone Skin Case/Precut LCD Screen Guard/Protector

This is the second case we tried - the first one was thicker and opaque. This one is thinner and translucent, with a pattern all over the back. We returned the first one mainly because the iPad could not be charged or synced with the case on - we had to remove the bottom edge of the case - the opening for the cable connector was too small. It would also not fit in the dock with the case on, but that may not be possible with ANY case. This one allows charging and syncing, and is nice and thin, so it doesn't make the iPad too bulky. The only thing they could improve on a bit is the grip - the plastic is shiny, and not as grippy as it could be, but it still works as advertised, and is a good deal for the money.

Overall, the skin is nice. It's not hard plastic, it's more rubbery and flexible which is what I wanted. While it was nice that this came with a free screen guard, I couldnt apply it without getting bubbles in it and the cut seemed slightly off. I ended up throwing it out and will look elsewhere for one.

I agree with previous reviews. This case looks amazing. It fits just right and has a nice soft feel to it. It's smooth, not "sticky" like some softer silicone cases. My one major gripe with it is that my iPad would not sit securely on the dock with this case. The case isn't cut to accommodate the dock, at least not with a tight enough fit to allow charging. The hole in the case allows the charging cord only. Using an exacto knife, I enlarged the hole, so I can dock and charge the iPad without taking the case off. I liked the design and feel of the case so much, I decided to try modify it rather than exchange it. Never did get the screen protector on--way too many bubbles that were impossible to get out.

I was shocked and angry when I received this skin with a 4 inch CrazyOnDigital Logo on this skin. Do they really think I want to spend my money to advertise for them. Obviously they are aware that people would be less likely to make this purchase if they knew, because it is not shown on the photo or described. I feel like I've been duped.

This is a good little case but some of the white paint transferred to the back of my iPad and it can't be removed. I'm not sure if others have experienced this issue or not but I wanted to make folks aware of this before purchasing.

Size, look, feel is awesome but the skin has a big open to shows your apple in the back of your ipad. that open doesn't shows in the product picture in the amazon.com, I m very disappointed. anyway, its only cost me 6 dollars something, it is a good lesson for buying the after market apple products from amazon(do not believe what you see for the pictures).

I have a Macally Metrobpad on my iPad and have been completely satisfied with it's back protection. My boyfriend is a bit less gentle with his toys, so I ordered this for his. I could not believe the POOR fit. Most noticeable is the inability to access the on off switch on the top of the iPad. It appears like ithe plastic should have been removed in that area but was not. Took a razor knife and sloppily cut it out ( due to the thickness of the material). As my boyfriend will be taking his iPad to Germany in a few days, he needs access to the sim card slot. This time, there is not even the appearance of perforation. It would be impossible to cut that out. Additionally, the Apple OEM USB cable pops out of the opening for it.

Granted this only cost $7 something, but, it was still a waste of money. I will be ordering another Macally.

We went through at least 10 cases and screen protectors for the iPads in the house. Some are great, others not.

This is a great buy, and my personal favorite. Let's break it down really fast for would-be purchasers:

Pros

Fit: Fits snug and perfect, all ports easily accessible, hole present for speakers, moulded perfect for all buttons.

Material: Great! A little more rubbery than most silicone cases, so this is like a cross between a hard case and a soft case. The material grips well, but isn't "sticky". This helps it sit on legs or a stand better, but isn't so rubbery as to be annoying.

Look: Great! The semi-clear material allows you to keep that apple aesthetic while protecting the iPad. This is the best looking case we found. It is a very snug fit and is rather thin, so you get protection without adding a lot of bulk.

Screen protector: CHECK IT OUT! We went through four brands of screen protectors. Anyone who has tried knows this can be tricky. They get bubbles, lint can get under them, and they're a pain to apply. This one was THE BEST. It went on fast and easy, and looks perfect. It was the only one to do this. (see tips below)

Cost: A GREAT Value

Cons

None that we can tell. The model I got has a hole cut out for the Apple logo. This could result in scratching in the future, but I'm not sure that's a big concern.

Tips for a perfect screen protector application:

To get the best application, clean your iPad and work surface well with a damp lint-free cloth. Use canned air to spray off any add'l lint. Apply the screen protector SLOWLY from the home button end upward, removing the backing as you go to minimize lint/trapped air. Once it's in place, use a credit card and/or cotton swab to patiently brush out any air. Do this BEFORE removing the top protective layer, since the removal of air can scratch the film if you do it after the upper protective layer is peeled off. Look things over carefully with the iPad turned off. If there is any lint or dust trapped, NOW is the time to peel the layer up and remove them. It is impossible to do this after both protective films are removed, and you will ruin the screen protector. If things look good, very slowly peel off the top layer, making sure not to pull too hard so as to allow air back under the screen protector. Viola - with a little patience you'll have a perfect application! Do you need this? YES! One of our iPads has lived in a relatively tame home office only environment. It has never been dropped or anything, and there are some minor scratching. Whatever Apple - this spendy toy NEEDS screen protection. - Ipad Accessory - Ipad Cover - Ipad Screen Protector - Ipad'

Eligible For Super Saver Shipping - tools, precision screwdriver set

For precision work, this set includes the sizes I need most often. I hesitated to purchase it to begin with due to comments about the cheap case/package, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I have certainly had very bad cases before and although this one is not perfect, it is good enough for me and I'm fairly picky. What can you expect for just over six bucks?

On a side note, I did notice before opening the box that the bits on 2 of the hex drivers were not completely straight. This is an obvious manufacturing defect and I have contacted Fuller Tools about it to see if they will replace them. While it won't impede me from using them in the meanwhile, they are bent enough to be a bit annoying for precision work. Yet again, what can you expect for the price? Either way, I believe these are certainly well worth the price that I paid. Fuller Tool 135-0916 16-Piece Precision Screwdriver Set

I used this set on some electronics and a few watch screws and it worked well. The only complaint I have is that 2 of the screwdrivers tips came loose while loosening a screw. They are only glued in and when they came loose, the tips would just spin. I pulled them out and used some Loctite, I could use them again in an hour. This set is a good value, but I was a bit disappointed how quickly two of them needed repair.

Update: 3/17/08

I have been using these more than I thought. One further observation is that in simple things like electronics, the work flawlessly. In items where the screws are tighter, I have had the tips come loose and needed to use Loctite to repair them. I even bent a few of the tips and had to hammer them flat again.

For simple uses, these are fine. (For $7, come on!) Just don't expect to them to be able to withstand excessive punishment.

These are very inexpensive for the set, but if you need a small screw driver every now and then they are very good. The box is a bit cheap and will not last long, but for now they look good orginized.

The qualtiy of them is good enough for my 3 year old to use the small philips to change the batteries on his toothbrush and toys. They are just the right size if your kids want to help.

When i received the package i first noticed the case. It sucked. But once i got past the case i found very nicely made set of screwdrivers, no surprises there. The set contains a cross-section of each type of head. The six in the middle have holes drilled near the top for a small bar, which is included, for increased torque. These are good, but i wish they would have drilled that little hole in all of them. It nots a big set but it does supplement most previously purchased sets.

The guy below that complains about the non-magnetic heads has obviously never owned a magnetizer/demagnetizer tool in which you put the tool through a hole which magnetizes it, take out the screw, then put it through another hole in the bottom to demagnetize it.

A good buy.

Not much to say....container broke in a matter of days.

The tools are just ok, one already broke off the handle.

I use it to change the batteries in my watches....or tighten the4 screws on my glasses.

I'd stick with the sets available at the dollar stores....this set is worth $5 at most - Screwdriver - Tools - Precision Screwdriver Set - Precision'

Internet Presence - textbook, publishing

I know a teeny tiny bit of print. Spot colours - hmm I did know that one, but since I don't do much print (or haven't til this year) I was always at a loss when it came ready for the printer. This book is an essential guide for the non print designer.

Terms, project proofing, even what a colour bar is (you know that strip of colour on the prepress and press proofs?) - it's all covered. There is a world of difference between making something for screen and print. If you have ever had someone ask to have a business card made, or a more complex print piece, and you usually export a 300 dpi TIFF and hope for the best this book helps take you further. Every introductory design course, not just a print course, should be covering this book to ensure that designers are well versed in all the verbage, processes and production issues that print demands.

A great chapter in this book covers project management which most will not think of to be in a book like this. The added value of having this chapter allows one who is not familiar with print to understand ones responsibilities to the client, the printer and themselves. Do not waste time creating something the client may love and the printer will not deliver - at your quoted budget anyway. It all intertwines and knowing what questions to ask is the key to a better project. And don't forget that File Checkoff List. Official Adobe Print Publishing Guide, Second Edition: The Essential Resource for Design, Production, and Prepress

This book wasn't what I'd expected from the reviews. It is largely a reference guide and less of a learning resource. Definitions are presented clearly, but then the application of things wasn't fully explained. For someone new to print publishing, this isn't a 'how-to' guide. It's more of a reference material and to discover new things about print publishing you may not have known about. I would recommend this tentatively to anyone who wants to bulk up their reference library on print publishing, but wouldn't recommend it to a absolute beginner wanting to know more about print publishing.

This book was better than I had ever expected! I am a recent graduate and working in graphic design, and throughout school they never taught us much about pre-press. Now that I have to send my jobs to a commercial printer I realized that there was a lot that I had to learn. This book is great - it has interesting graphics and is set up in a way that makes it easy to read. It is a great tool for the beginner who needs to learn more about pre-press and printing issues, as well as the experienced designer for whom this would make an excellent resource book. It goes through the printing process and explains all aspects of pre-press, including how you should prepare your graphics before sending them off to a commercial printer and what you should leave for them to do for you. It also explains how to cut costs with your projects. I guarantee that no matter what your skill level, this book will become an important piece in your design library.

The reality is that lots of graphic designers don't have formal design training, which can result in a problematic lack of production and printing knowledge. This book is easy to read (in a day), thoughtfully illustratrated, and covers the most important productino and printing issues that a designer should be aware of.

The book is really good about inustructing the designer on what they should know and then giving the reader a list of questions/issues to discuss with their printer when the matter is outside the domain of the designer. Great stuff!

"Official Adobe Print Publishing Guide....." is a required text for the Layout for Lithography class in which I am enrolled; a class that is required for several certificates that I plan to earn.

Even without the requirements, I would have purchased "Official Adobe Print....."

My training (and continual education) in fine arts has led to my thinking of color as expressed in watercolor, oils, pen & ink, etc. However, I need to think of expressing color in software and printing; a different way of thinking, of course!

The first chapter gives me information about color in various types of printing (offset being the one I am currently studying) as well as many, many terms and definitions used to describe printing actions for the graphic artist, the printing press, and the printer. Whew!

The second chapter deals with color management, corrections, typography and terms, terms, terms! The 2nd, 3rd & 4th chapters contain case studies for "real world" details.

An excellent resource/reference book in addition to a step-by-step how-to book.

Where was this book when I was starting out? This is THE INDISPENSIBLE BOOK for everyone who has bought a copy of Corel Draw or Illustrator or (gad) Publisher and now thinks they are full fledged "desktop publishers." THIS BOOK IS CRAMMED FULL OF KNOWLEDGE that will separate you from the clueless. Buy it. Read it. Memorize it. Then go to your service bureau and learn some more!! - Publishing - Resource - Textbook - Design'
