Originally, my cord came separated (by the jack end, the wires were exposed). Thinking it wasn't worth the battle, I didn't even try to contact the company, but they contacted ME. Refunded half my money and sent me a new cord. :) Great customer service I thought. I don't think the faulty cord was attributable to them in the first place, but they went over and beyond to make my purchase right anyway. There isn't much of a problem with them, compared to the original apple headphones however, they are easily tangled.
The sound quality is a little better on the original headphones also. At least I think so.
Volume controls worked fine on both my 2nd Generation and 4th Generation iTouch devices.
Cords just as short as the original's also.
I was expecting it to be better than the originals but I was mistaken...
I love the mic/remote feature, but the rubberized cord feels like it will rip easily if folded too much. The charging cord is the same way. If this did not come free with my phone, I would not own these.
Same problem mentioned by another reviewer: when plugged into my iPhone 4, the microphone on the iPhone and not the one on the headset is active. Makes it impossible to use the headset as a hand-free mic. The seller sent me a replacement (great customer service), but that one had the same problem.
Love the price, just doesn't work for me.
It's a GREAT product. They work perfectly with my iPod 3rd Gen, and even though it's noticeable that they are not Apple, they just was well might be. The perfect choice for when you want to replace lost or broken earphones with mic and remote.
Looks like the headset that comes with the iPhone. However, the mic in mine did not work. I was better off going to Best Buy and paying 4x more for one that actually works. Do not waste your money as these are inferior open-box headsets. You get what you pay for - pay less and get less or pay more and get more.
I was very dissatisfied with this product. It worked fine the first time I used it and it hasn't worked since then. It didn't even work a whole day.
