Levis Jeans - levi 501, levis

Tired of blue jeans for work pants. Try these.

100% cotton woven with a process that prevents rips from continuing on. Gusseted crotch and plenty of thigh room for movement especially squats. Comes out of the dryer without the need to launder.

Have had a few pair for months now - no problems. Better looking than jeans, stronger and less hassle than khakis. Riggs Workwear By Wrangler Men's Ripstop Carpenter Jean, Bark, 38W x 34L

Not only does Wrangler have a winner with a great looking work pants, they also wear very well. IT is brillaint for Wrangler to use "Ripstop" fabric most often used in high end outdoor clothing and camping equipment.

This is the first pair of jeans I have boughten for my husband that he actually loves. He is a carpenter. He said they are very roomy everywhere, and a good jean for summer because they are light and don't stick to him. He has had them for about a month and not a single rip yet! Trust me, he rips jeans all the time. I am interested to see what happens once he does tear them, but for now, love them!

These are the best pants I've ever had for a long time. I wear them as a dress pants, and on the farm. They're comfortable and they have the right size e.g. 37 for waist. I only give them 4 stars, because I've noticed after a year they would fry between the legs, by the seems. I've also noticed that the quality went down as well. I bought these pants when they first made them years back from "Gemplers". It was the only place where you can get them. Now they're available every where and that's when I noticed the quality issue. My first 2 pairs lasted the longest. All of the new ones, they're rated for about a year. These are the only pants I wear now, I've got 9 of them over the years and there is 2 brand new in my closet. I've told all my friends about them, and they went and got some when they went on sale from "Menards". They had the same issue with the frying between the leg as well.

Bought these pants for a crew of airplane mechanics. The crew says they are comfortable and durable, and I say (female) that they are nice looking too. The guys like the pocket placement and the leather trim. Would highly recommend, a great value.

i love these jeans, i was getting bored of the blue jeans but with these new wranglers are awesome. lots of room they are just good jeans and i would recommend them to anyone who wears a hard hat or who wants to look cool.

My husband is a carpenter and this brand ROCKS! We normally order the Riggs Workwear by Wrangler Blue JEANS, but this time we wanted to try something different. We will definitely be re-ordering. His size is hard to find - I love ordering them on Amazon.com.

This is my second pair of these work pants. I've had the first pair for close to three years and they get worn nearly every week. The ONLY reason I bought this pair is because I wanted a different color. The first pair has faded but have no rips, tears, seam failure or wear throughs at all. They are the toughest work pants I've ever owned...period! They're also comfortable and give you plenty of room where it counts so feel free to move about as you need to on the job. Highly recommend these pants.

These pants have 9 heavy duty belt loops. The size and length are accurate. The material is a little stiff - towards canvas - only washed once tho. Very little shrinkage. Not as soft as old blue jeans, but feels armored. Much more rugged. They look more like Slacks rather than jeans. I am buying a second pair - different color.

UPDATE: Its been 3 months since I bought the Jeans and the zipper broke. I wasn't even wearing them at the time. In hand, I tried to unzip all the way down and it was hung-up. Zipper teeth section pulled right out. Very disappointing. - Jeans - Pants - Levi 501 - Levis'

Newsboy Caps

I bought this hat without knowing whether or not the smaller size would be too small and be uncomfortable or if the bigger size would be too big and flop around. In the end I went with the smaller size and it fits perfectly. This is perfect for anyone looking for this type of hat. Buy It! Wool Ivy Scally Cap Flat Hat Irish Newsboy Golf Driver XL/Brown

I bought this cap as a gift for my husband. I searched EVERYWHERE for the right one. There weren't many views of the cap, so I purchased it in good faith. The item I received was good quality and, honestly, more than I was expecting for the money. The picture doesn't do it justice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a scally cap.

This is definitely a nice hat. Fits comfortably, looks good - a very good value. The hat is actually 60% polyester and 40% wool - not 50/50 as they represent on this site but still a really good hat. I'm happy with it.

I searched for a hat with this look and style for a long time at department stores to brand name stores. This is the only place I found that had this style and size in stock! It fits my head perfectly, and the style is exactly what I was looking for. If you're more that "artsy" person, or just want to sport a unique, rustic look, this will suit you perfectly.

Good hat. I like it and the look.

My trouble, however, is with the sizing. I got the Small/Medium originally because I was barely over the line to be a large and I didn't want it to be baggy. Gave me a headache from being too tight. Returned it and got the Large/XL. It would fit great if not for the elastic on the inside. It's got an inner band to cover up the seam and part of it is elastic. Every half hour I find myself taking it off to stretch it out. Might put it on something head-shaped for a couple days and leave it to stretch. Maybe that'll work.

Nothing else wrong with it. Great if you're not a large/extra

I ordered the hat at the last minute before Christmas, based on the reviews I ordered a large, but needed a medium. So, I sent the hat back and asked the company to send a smaller one. They did so with no questions asked, very nice people to deal with, oh, and a great hat too, it was a big hit!

I have wanted to get one of these caps/flat hats for a long time but could not find them in the stores. Finally I thought to look for it on good old Amazon and I found this one among a lot of others but this one had a five star rating and for a good reason.

I am happy I purchased it and the service from the seller was excellent.'

Carpel Tunnel - carpel tunnel, elbow pain

I have tried at least 25 other types of this product. Arnica gel is nice and cool but doesn't last. Penetrex contains all great ingredients (I have been allergic to most), and I just can't believe I found a product that alleviates my torso pain, so that I can breathe without pain all the time. If you're in pain, please do yourself a favor and try it ... I really put a good layer on it (only used two-thirds of a jar so far ... it goes a long way), and I can feel it working its way through my skin into my bones. Glad I got a reminder to leave a review ... I need to order two more jars! This stuff is a miracle for me! I have wasted so much money on other products ... I purchased several other types on Amazon at the same time ... I returned them and will order more Penetrex! Even if you're not a chronic pain patient, this would be awesome for sore muscles, shoulders, anything! Thanks for a great product! If you ever come up with a shake I can drink, I'll buy that too! I am so happy with this product, I still can't believe how much it helps me! Penetrex® - The World's #1 Anti-Inflammatory Treatment For Tennis Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Arthritis, Bursitis, Tendonitis & Plantar Fasciitis

I am a natural born skeptic...and I never seem to have the time to write reviews. Nevertheless, I felt duty-bound to not only other tennis elbow sufferers but to the inventors of penetrex as well...so I MADE the time.

I've been using this stuff for about 2 weeks and as I write this there's just one thought in my head. Why didn't I get started with Penetrex 6 months ago?!?

My tennis elbow pain has almost disappeared and Penetrex did the job that various other things I tried could not. And it did it at a fraction of the price.

I am only too familiar with the physical AND emotional devastation tennis elbow inflicts on its sufferers and if you're reading this and going through the nightmare, you have to order this stuff!!

P.S. The directions say to apply 3-4 times/day for 7 - 10 days and from my experience that is an accurate time-frame. The reason is that the product is what is known as a transdermal anti-inflammatory and it takes time to reduce that inflammation.

This is NOT a miracle snake-oil it is more of a medical, pharmaceutical therapy and you have to invest a little time...if you do, you'll be rewarded. Good Luck!

I have had Diabetic Neuropathy in both legs, for years. As a Registered Nurse, I've researched the current available medications prescribed for this condition and my Doctor has tried me on all of them, none of which relieved the extreme pain from this condition. Others who have this condition would tell you it impacts all aspects of your life, including getting a good night of uninterrupted sleep, the inability to focus at work due to the pain and how it negatively affects your social life because the pain prohibits us from going places.

When I saw this product I almost didn't buy it, thinking that surely if it did work Doctors would be recommending it to all their patients who have neuropathy but, thankfully, I decided to try a jar. I received it very rapidly, yesterday and wish I could describe my jubilant feeling of relieve about 5 minutes after I first applied the cream to both legs. I know that everyone has different reactions to a medication, but I sincerely mean it when I tell you that literally five minutes after I applied it, I could actually feel the pain ebbing slowly away. Ten minutes later I had absolutely no pain. I couldn't believe it. I still can't believe it but I am here to tell you that if you're considering buying this, buy it now. I am applying it 4 times a day as suggested then will cut back slowly to one application a day. I fully intend to take this jar and information about the product's ingredients I researched on the internet and give those to my family Doctor and encourage him to recommend all his patients try it for pain relief. In this day and age, most Doctors refuse to prescribe controlled opiate medications for pain relief and at best, they only relieve the pain for a limited time, slowly causing your body to build up a tolerance for the medication and forcing you to go to a higher dosage, which is not healthy for you. This is the answer to the many people who need pain relief. Truthfully I'm not sure this jar would last for weeks and I'm estimating that mine will last for perhaps, 10 more days at the rate I am going to apply it daily, so I plan to order more jars of it today before everyone discovers it and there might be a shortage of it on the market soon. It will not stain your clothing or bedding nor does it feel 'greasy' after applied. There is absolutely no odor so you can wear it to work and social occasions and continue being pain free. In my case, it lasts much longer than I thought and I'd venture a guess it would last probably 8 hours after application so while 4 applications a day isn't really necessary I still will follow the directions and gradually taper it down.

As a health care professional, I recommend you try this product because I have full faith that it will work for the majority of those who use it. It's been a Godsend in my life and last night I slept all night long, not having the need to get up because of any pain. There simply was no pain. Best product to come onto the market and thankfully you don't even need a written prescription to buy it. Buy it today.

I was skeptical about this product. To me, miracle wonder cure-all claims smack of suckers and the placebo effect. What I was looking for was something like the new-to-the-U.S. (but common in Europe) prescription drug Pennsaid. I've been running for 30 years, and so it's no surprise that my knees sometimes hurt. My doctor did bilateral X-rays and gave me Pennsaid, which is a much buzzed about -- Men's Health and NY Times to name two -- transdermal nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduced the inflammation that rest and ice wasn't enough for. The huge advantages of a topical cream or liquid is that the drug passes through the skin directly to just the areas that need the agent, rather than like say ibuprofen (e.g. Advil) that has to go through the stomach and liver, then bathe the whole body with their effects. Ibuprofen cream is available in the UK and elsewhere, but not yet in the US. What I found was Penetrex.

The active NSAID ingredient seems to be arnica, a herbal extract from the sunflower family. Arnica contains helenalin, which is a sesquiterpene lactone that has been a major ingredient in other anti-inflammatory preparations. There is real published research showing arnica works, although the data suggest a different molecular mechanism from other nonsteroidal NSAIDs. There are other ingredients, a varied collection including B6, Boswellia Serrata and MSM. I have no idea if these really help.

After a bit more than a week my knees were feeling better. Pernetrex is not a pain reliever, there are no ingredients that would do that and it makes no such claims, so the better function and feeling is due to the anti-inflammatory properties. Could it be placebo effect? Maybe. Could it be time? Maybe. But am I buying another bottle to have ready when this one runs out? Yes.

The cream is not sticky or gross, and has a slight pleasant peppermint smell that is not noticeable after you put it on. Is it a miracle? Is it a cure-all? No. No. But do I think it really helped? Yes. I hope you find this review useful. - Carpel Tunnel - Pain Relief - Elbow Pain - Arthritis'

Cell Phone Charger - car charger, samsung

I first got a defect item, and they sent me a new one right away, that works perfectly. I recommend this service, as their products are very low cost, they work great, and the customer service is excellent. I was in need of a car charger for a cell phone. I checked the local stores and found that I would have to spend $30 for one. I realized that was just too much. I started looking on line to see what was out there and found one on Amazon for 1 penny+shipping. I questioned myself to what I would get for a penny, but realized it was worth the risk. It turned out to be a good product. What a great deal. It's only been couple months but so far so good! - Samsung - Car Charger - Cell Phone Charger - Car Chargers'

Wireless - airport express, griffin

I would have given 5 stars but was very annoyed when the cable kept falling out of its attachment. I found a way to twist it around the chrome bit that sticks out the back. However, the signal seems to be so much better as the room my Power Mac G5 is in sits down the hall and around a corner. The airport extreme sits high on a cabinet in the room of the Mac and really didn't work well with itunes giving a signal to my home stereos system, now it is a joy to hear all my itunes so far away uninterrupted. I'm always impressed with Griffin, but disappointed the cable was loose. Griffin 1092-XPRSD AirBase/Desktop Stand for Airport Express

The Griffin AirBase is an accessory stand for Apple's AirPort Express portable WiFi base station.

Apple makes the AirPort Express as simple and portable as possible. The Express plugs directly into a wall outlet (as you would a PowerBook's AC adaptor brick). You then connect your internet source via ethernet cable, and a printer and music speakers via USB and 3.5mm jacks respectively. It has one multicolor status light showing the AirPort's readiness and network activity. The downside is that wall outlets are not always at the best height or orientation to facilitate optimal Wifi reception. Additionally, if the wall outlet is hidden behind furniture, the status light can be obscured.

Like many Apple products, the Airport Express boasts artful, elegant industrial design. Griffin Technology's AirBase is the perfect compliment to the AirPort Express. It's design and craftsmanship rivals Apple's and it integrates seamlessly with the Express. To use: simply pull-off the Express's AC prong module, and slide the Express into the AirBase's socket. The express stands on the diagonal with the cables routing from the back, and the status light showing at front. The AirBase has a chromed metal lower half, reminiscent of the back of an iPod. The bottom sports an inset, non-slip rubber pad. In addition to looking nice, the metal base adds weight and prevents movement (say, from tugging cables). The back of the AirBase also has a matching chromed arch to pass the cables through. Making for elegant cable routing.

As for the esthetic: The AirBase/AirPort Express combo is beautiful. This alone may not be enough to encourage you to buy. But before I used the AirBase, I was unable to receive a strong Wifi signal in the outer-most rooms in my house. The AirBase raised the Express to table height and allows for rotating the Express until the optimal reception is achieved. It raised my Powerbook's signal from one-or-two 'bars' before, to four-or-five bars with the AirBase. This boost is equivalent to what I experienced when I tried an amplified antenna with my Airport Extreme base station (I now have the Extreme on one floor and the Express on another in a WDS configuration). The only quality issue I had found was the AirBase's AC cord comes unplugged from the AirBase rather easily. I attribute this more to the quality of the cord's end than the base's power port. Also, more trivially, when the Express is attached to the AirBase, the Apple logo on the Express is upside down. A pair of Grey on white stickers would solve this nicely.

Griffin Technology's AirBase is heartedly recommended to anyone with an AirPort Express.

This product is phenomenal and is designed extremely well. Prior to purchasing this very reasonably priced accessory, my AirPort Express unit was on the floor under my computer desk. Since the antenna in my desktop Mac was in the front of the CPU, which was on my desktop, the location of the AirPort wasn't ideal. With the AirBase, I was able to plug in my AirPort Express unit and move it to my desktop...within a couple inches of the antenna in the CPU. This really helped improve the wireless signal and range. The styling of the AirBase is way cool, too. Very Apple like. And the weighted base ensures that it will STAY on your desktop or entertainment center. One note to the reviewer who complained that the cable was loose when she plugged it into her AirBase: If you're talking about the cable that supplies the power to the AirBase, just try pushing it in harder (you have to push it pretty hard). When I first hooked up my AirBase to my AirPort Express, I too was bummed because the power cord seemed loose and the power actually would cut in and out. I was almost to the point of wanting to return it, but thought I must be doing something wrong. I just pushed harder on the power plug that goes into the AirBase and voila...the cord went in about 1/8" further and locked firmly into place. Problem solved. Trust me...if you have an AirPort Express, you should have an AirBase. I can't imagine life without it!!!

An ingenious little device I'm surprised Apple didn't come up with themselves. However the one indication that Apple did not make it is the wiggle in the connection to the base. If you wiggle the AirPort block a little too much one way or the other you might loose power. Granted, this base is designed to sit there so it should not be an issue for most users. I did not have problems with the base's power cord staying in; mine was very snug.

If you do not like exposed wires you should know that if you are using the WAN port, Audio jack, and/or the printer USB connection the wires will stick out a bit up and backward. This is especially true for the audio cable. If you're REALLY particular about how this looks, you might want to consider an audio cable with a small right angle plug and white cables all around to match the AirPort.

My one suggestion is it would have been nice if they had designed a little notch to store the 2-prong plug that you have to remove from the AirPort to fit it in the base. - Mac - Apple - Griffin - Airport Express'

Not Recommended - fetch, dog toys

I got this in addition to the full-size Chuckit that I already had. The biggest reason was that the full-size was great for the dog park, but not so great for my medium sized back yard. I kept launching tennis balls into my neighbor's pool and it was getting embarrassing having to go and ask to retrieve them.

I've been using the Pocket Chuckit for about a week now and it's awesome. It works well in my backyard and I've actually taken it to the dog park once. It launches the ball reasonably far, not as far as the full-size, but the portability of it more than makes up for it. Chuckit! Pocket Ball Launcher (Colors Vary)

My mixed breed medium size dog is very energetic. I walk him and his same sized female sidekick faithfully each day. She is relaxed most of the time, but he still has a great deal of energy. I'm using the chuckit to give him more active playtime and it seems to be working very well. I walked him after a chuckit session and he was very well behaved, not pulling on the leash as much as he usually does.

He's having fun and I enjoy the game also.

Everyone likes this toy. The dog gets more throws out of us, and we really like not having to touch the ball. The included ball is nice, but I'm happy the toy is designed to use any tennis ball. This short one fits in your back pocket easily, and it launches the ball very well. We might get the full size one this summer if we want to go to a bigger field, but this could be the only one we need.

I prefer the pocket launcher over the full-sized one as I can throw it in my back-pack or even put it in my jeans pockets when we go places. If your dog is just a back-yard dog, you may not need the smaller size, but for an active adventure dog, this is a GREAT product. I use it with racquet balls a lot for my medium sized dog, since tennis balls are like sand paper for your dog's teeth. Less dirt/sand swallowing, less saliva, higher bounce.

I just wish you could pick the color. Who in the world would ever go and knowingly purchase that ugly green?!?!??!

Awesome lil ball thrower. Bought it not expecting much, but really suprised. My dog will run till she drops chasing balls and my arms get tired- this is a gem of a relief on me. If you have a retriever- buy one of these- will save your back not bending over to pick up ball. Well made will buy more of them

I ordered the pocket launcher because I do not have a huge yard. I was not disappointed! It goes much farther than I thought it it would and love that you can scoop the balls up without touching them. It keeps the dog slobber off of me!

Easily fits in my pocket and is wonderful for getting my chubby dogs some exercise. I'm very happy that I picked the smaller version. I slip it into my pocket while we're walking down to the park and it is quite comfortable to carry along with me.

Bought one of these for my yellow lab. He absolutely loves it. I can probably throw an additional 20-30 feet, but my wife can probably double her throwing distance. It makes it very easy on the arm too. I'd recommend getting the glow in the dark ball & the whistler ball too. The one that is supposed to bounce all over the place doesn't really work.

Love the Chuck-it products, Have the larger Chuck-it Jr as well.

The Pocket launcher is great for our back yard , with little effort I can toss the ball over 100 feet. We have a mini-Schnoodle that is crazy about playing fetch, he could keep going until my arm fell off. In larger spaces I prefer the longer Jr.Launcher which I have no problem hitting the outfield fence from the pitchers mound of our local little league field so I can only imagine what the full size launcher can do! My daughter and I both appreciate the fact we don't have to handle the slobber covered and wet tennis balls. For smaller spaces the pocket launcher is all you need.

My dog is hard on balls and the solid Ultra-ball stands up best to his rough play and chewing, also there is no fuzz like the standard tennis balls on the Ultra ball which is a huge advantage in the humid dew covered mornings of the north east. - Fetch - Dog Toy - Dog Toys - Ball'

Great Quality - great value, affordable

I ended up buying this at a local sports store and like the previous two reviewers was a bit wary to buy it because there were no reviews. I ended up finally buying it because of the reputation that Schwinn has with its other ellipticals and was not disappointed.

I had no difficulty putting it together by myself but it would be best to have two people. Thank you reviewer Toasty for informing me that the water bottle holder is not included. I'll stop searching my house for the damn thing now. I thought I lost it. The bolts, screws, and washers come on two cardboard sheets along with two wrenches and a hex/screw driver. You will have the screws left over for the water bottle holder. The programming was pretty straight forward until I got to the custom program level. I'm still not sure how I got past that screen.

The elliptical itself feels sturdy and well built. I am 300 pounds and it supports my weight without shaking or wobbling. The 18" stride and the handles feel comfortable for my 5'10" frame. I heard some complaints from the salesmen at the sports store that the handles were to far forward but I did not have that problem. The console is pretty basic but what was expected for the price.

Bottom line is if you are looking for a sub $600 elliptical that is well built, this is the one for you. Schwinn 420 Elliptical Trainer

I was wary if purchasing a product with no reviews on Amazon, but I found other reviews of this machine online and decided to take a risk. I'm glad I did. So far, this machine has met all my expectations.

Setup

Took about 1.5 hours total with 2 people (don't even attempt to do this with 1 person). As I expected, some parts were harder to do than others because of the way the holes line up, but in the end I managed to put it all together. Don't make the mistake of adjusting the levelers before you put it all together like I did; otherwise you'll have to put them back at factory setting to realign the holes so the bolts can go through. I also made sure to spray all the moving parts with silicone lubricant as I was putting it together.

Note that you may want an actual wrench of some sort, in addition to the tools they provide you with. Also note that the cupholder they describe in the instructions is not actually included. (even though it is in the product description, an addendum to the instructions says it is not included) The touted "magazine rack" is also just a lip on the console, so don't expect anything fancy.

Console

The interface is very confusing (and I work in computers, so I'm not a novice with technology). I still haven't managed to figure out how to do a customized program, despite running through the instructions step-by-step. However, since I rarely do programs anyway, I don't really care about this feature. There is also no backlight.

The heart rate monitor takes a while to settle at your "real" heart rate, almost a minute, so either always keep your hands on the monitor or don't count on using it too often.

Use

This machine is super-quiet, with no squeaking so far. I can watch TV at normal volume while doing my workouts. There were several complaints that on the 430 (the predecessor to this model), the easiest level was acutally pretty difficult, and I don't find that to be the case here at all even though I haven't worked out at all in months.

The stride works for me, as I'm short (5'0"). The handlebars are also fine for me, but just barely. Any further and they would be very awkward to grip.

As Toasty mentioned, I was also unsure of purchasing this machine without any reviews posted but I did anyway. I've been working out with Precor elliptical machine at a nearby gym and I quite liked it but decided to purchase Schwinn 420 for my exercise room at home (did not want to pay thousands of dollars).

The assembly took just under 2 hours and you do need 2 people. The package is quite heavy as well so do not attempt to build this on your own. The workout is smooth and quiet which is a real treat. I also found setting the custom work-out was a bit hard but I figured it out eventually.

And no, the WATER BOTTLE HOLDER is NOT INCLUDED in this purchase.

Overall you will not be disappointed with this machine especially at this price. It looks good, makes you work out hard and keeps you in shape. I'm short (5' 2") and my husband's 6' but we both find the size of this machine suiting.

We enjoyed our Schwinn 420 for almost 6 whole months before it died. We came home from vacation, and it was making a loud knocking noise from the motor housing. Thereafter, it gave the dreaded E-2 error...

We are extremely disappointed with the quality of this machine, which has only been exacerbated by the poor service we have received while trying to repair it. To start, every phone call to Nautilus takes about an hour to get a human being. After the first phone call, they were sure it was the console that had failed and I waited two weeks for the replacement. Of course the new console gives the same error. Another hour of sitting on hold and re-explaining how the device failed, and now they are certain it must be the motor. Oops, they don't actually carry that part; I'm supposed to wait for 3-4 weeks while they see if they get replacement parts (then wait for another two weeks for shipping). If and when it does arrive, I'm supposed to go to a bike store so I can buy a crankshaft puller (somewhere in the $20-30 range) and spend my weekend pulling apart my gently used 150 pound paperweight.

You might guess I was less than enthusiastic about the above scenario, so I asked that they simply replace the elliptical since they didn't have the parts necessary to fix it and certainly could not guarantee that this new part would actually make it functional. That replacement request also carries a 2 week waiting period. After two and a half weeks, I sent them an email asking whether they would grant this request for a replacement elliptical. Of course that email to the person who said it would take two weeks and would certainly contact me with the result was ignored. It's been about 5 weeks total now without our elliptical, and I don't have much hope of that changing anytime soon.

Our last elliptical from Eclipse lasted for over 5 years and cost less than this Schwinn by a couple hundred dollars. I don't think I will buy another Schwinn or Nautilus product and hope you don't have the misfortune of having to deal with their product support. - Great Quality - Great Value - Affordable - Sturdy'
