The Logitech z515 Wireless Speakers are a compact, one piece unit...just over a foot long, less that 6 inches high and less than 4 inches deep. Total weight...just over 2 lbs. Priced under $80.00 at both amazon.com and Best Buy at the time of writing this review.



Features I liked:



1a.) Useable with battery only OR while plugged into wall receptacle (while charging at the same time).

1b.) A full battery charge should last about 10 hours

1c.) The power-on light also serves as a battery strength indicator...green-yellow-red, depending on the charge left.



2a.) Convenient portability. Small and light weight and has a little ridge in the back for your fingers, making it easy to pick up if you want to move it around.

2b.) Even comes with a soft carrying case for travelling/storage that also has room for the charging component.



3a.) Extremely easy set up for Bluetooth for my IPad...just go to settings>general>bluetooth>on>on

My IPad found and paired with the z515 in seconds and the speakers worked immediately.

3b.) Once connected, the Bluetooth range is about 50ft. before clarity diminishes.



4a.) Although you must physically turn these speakers ON/OFF, you can adjust the audio volume up or down from your I-device OR from the speakers themselves (at least I can with my IPad). AN ESSENTIAL FEATURE!...so important in fact, that these speakers would probably be rendered impractical for me, without this ability.

4b.) AND MAYBE MOST IMPORTANTLY, I can multitask from my IPad. I can listen to the news or music on my z515 speakers and switch Apps to check e-mails or surf etc...all WITHOUT interruption to my speaker broadcast. Without this feature the usefulness of these speakers would have been greatly reduced.



5.) The bottom of the speaker housing has a secure receptacle for storing the USB dongle. This device, when attached to a computer USB port, allows you to use the Logitech z515 speakers in conjunction with your desktop or laptop computer.



Concerns:



At this point only one...Rarely, when the z515 speakers are on, the wi-fi signal between my router and my IPad will suddenly stop! But the signal will spontaneously reconnect as soon as I turn the z515speakers off. Weird!



Impressions:



1.) STEREO...with small speakers only about 4 inches apart the stereo effect is, not surprisingly, not substantial. However they are good enough to produce that 'LIVE/VIBRANT' sound effect you only get with stereo and never with mono.

2a.) MUSIC quality...better than I'd expected from speakers this size. The bass...I thought was decent; the treble...a little thin and washed-out.

2b.) VOICE quality... talking, news etc...very acceptable.



Conclusions:



This is NOT a system you'd want if your looking for high quality sound.



This is a small, bluetooth speaker system that was made for PORTABILITY...it works clearly in any room in my house. Decent sound, given the size of the speakers. Perfect for vacation or times where more than one person would like to listen the news, music etc. It took me all of 5 minutes to make me realize that this small speaker unit, given the right circumstances, would become an indispensable part of my life that pertains to audio enjoyment. 5 Stars.

No frills - simply right.



Solidly manufactured, quite heavy, nice rubber feet, simple on-off and volume switch, and built-in rechargeable batteries.



Decent sound - not hi-fi quality, but way better than a built-in, and good enough to enjoy Netflix movies from my iPad at the coffee table.

I've played with a bunch of blue-tooth headsets, and some have an annoying audio delay, that makes watching movies unacceptable. This speaker set has a minimal lag, at most 50mS - and you'd need an instrument to tell that it wasn't synced with the movie. Test: Netflix streaming to iPhone or iPad via built-in blue-tooth, and Netflix streaming to PC with plug-in dongle wireless audio connection.



Blue-tooth range is advertised as 50 feet - which I didn't believe until I tested it. It picks up my iPhone (A2DP stereo) at well over 50' - more like 70 - in an elecitrically noisy office environment with many PCs and phones all around.



The dongle-based wireless connection works immediately - plugged it into my Windows 7 PC (64bit OS) and the driver loaded and connected within 3 seconds.



Would have been 5 stars if:

1. Blue-tooth remembered the device - if you use multiple devices, you have to re-pair the first after using the second. Since the devices invariably remember the speaker anyway, you have to make the device forget the speaker before you can re-pair it.

2. It would pair with two blue-tooth sources at once - iPhone and computer, for example.

3. It auto powered off after 30 minutes of no audio. I keep putting it away with the power on, and getting it out with flat battery.

I decided to re-arrange my home office and go wireless with all the main pieces attached to my home computer.



After careful research, and reading reviews all over the Internet, I decided to go with the Logitech Wireless USB Speaker Z515.



For the most part, I am pleased. I ditched a wired speaker set that had a small sub-woofer (also Logitech, btw). The sound on the wired speakers was better, but I expected a drop-off in sound quality with the wireless set. The trade-off of getting rid of the wires for slightly lesser quality sound was worth it.



I am very happy with my purchase. These wireless speakers are very good, but wireless speakers will always play second fiddle to wired speakers when it comes to sound quality. - Portable Speakers - Computer Speakers - Bluetooth Speaker - Usb Speakers'

I am a college student in IT that fixes computers, and, a lot of the time, a client will want me to reinstall a program from a nearly-mutilated disk. I needed something not only inexpensive -initially-, but with inexpensive upkeep and supplies. After a great deal of research, I stumbled upon the JFJ Easy Pro (I had been leaning toward a discgotech).



When I first bought the product and was waiting impatiently for its arrival, I read some more reviews on the JFJ machine. Apparently, there are two versions of the machine: one with a glass-like plastic top, and one with a lighter plastic. I called the company and asked them several questions:



1.) If I get the product with the top made of "lighter" plastic, can I get the new lid?



-- yes, but you have to send it off and spend about 50 dollars for the piece and labor.



2.) I have heard that, after thousands of repairs, the plastic cap that holds the disc while it spins will eventually strip on the metal screw...



-- no problem. The company will usually just send you one free of charge if that's all you need



Basically, whatever future parts you need, you can get a repair kit inexpensively...even after the warranty ends. That's something very important to me.



When you get it out of the box (mine was the new model with the better lid. I bought before Xmas 2008), you can tell it's a well-made product. This thing is built like a bomb shelter, no joke. And, unlike a previous poster suggested, there is no learning curve. The idea is to choose the least-drastic method for the disc at hand. For example, if it's a minor scratch, don't use the sand paper.



If you do use the coarse sand paper, you follow it with the fine, then the white and blue solutions in that order. You simply work your way down the grit level. It also includes a glossy instruction booklet. Better yet, there are vids on youtube (I'll also be posting). If you can work a microwave, you can work this machine. If you can screw this up, you shouldn't be allowed to leave your house without your helmet. That's really all I can say.



The only con is that it won't make hot cocoa for me when I come home from class, I guess. This really was a solid investment, and I hope you find my review insightful. JFJ Easy Pro Universal CD/DVD Repair Machine

I had been bringing my scratched CDs into a local shop to have them repair them for over a year. The owner was charging $1 a CD. He happens to have the same machine. At times I would get the CDs back and some would work great and some wouldn't. I hesitatingly bought my own to save the time and money of bringing each CD down to him to have them repaired. Boy, am I glad I did. I love this machine. It doesn't repair Gamecube or mini CD/DVDs, but it repairs all of my full size CD/DVDs. I've had some pretty deep scratches left over from the ex-girlfriends not putting the discs back into the cases. I've been repairing them to save me from buying them again. Sometimes it takes multiple times running it through to sand it down on the deep scratches, but they always come out working correctly. One disc I had to run through for 3 to 4 minutes of sanding just to remove the scratch, but it works great now. My daughter wanted to watch a movie last night that had been scratched and I hadn't repaired prior to last night. She was crying the entire time I was fixing it, but once it was put into the DVD player and worked great, she was as happy as can be!



The only thing that I would complain about the kit would be the fact that it should come with bigger bottles of the solutions. I find that I only use the #2 solution most of the time and will sometimes use the #1 solution if I want the disc to look brand new. I don't use the wipe pads or the spray solution because hot water and a micro-cloth has worked great up until now. I would highly recommend this item and would NOT bother buying most of the cheaper machines online.



One more thing, when repairing discs, try to have a few on-hand that need to be repaired, because you'll end up saving on the per-disc cost due to the price of the solutions.

I had been considering this repair machine for about a year but was put off by the high price and kept using my little memorex machine instead. Finally, I got fed up with the problems it had and decided to take the plunge when I saw it was on sale. If I knew then what I know now I would not have waited.



First thing, it is bulky and certainly not 'stylish' but it works tremendous. It comes ready to repair everything from minor scuffs to gouges. It tells you not to try a really damaged disk that would require sanding the gouge out until you have some experience, and honestly I haven't found any yet that needed that extreme repair.



I pulled some CD's and DVD's from my sons room that had lived on the floor for the past year at least. Scuffed, scratched, rolled over with a desk chair, you name it these disks had gone through it.



I ran them through the 2-step process - White compound first (2-1 minute cycles) - Blue compound last, and when they came out they were smooth and shiny like a brand new mirror. It was almost unbelievable.



I use it all the time now, especially on a lot of the Netflix disks that come in, but I seldom need to do more than 1 blue compound cycle on anything I get from them or that I find here at home.



This machine is not cheap, and quite frankly it is not pretty, but if you have any sort of DVD, CD, or Game collection you won't be sorry if you check the couch cushions to scrape together the money to buy this.

This DVD is exactly what I needed - a selection of poses presented at a good pace with solid form in 10-20 minute blocks. I am very new to yoga and find most classes and series are over-the-top for me ... too much too soon and not a good fit with some limitations I have. If you want to stick a toe in the water, this DVD is terrific. Yoga For Beginners: Poses for Strength, Flexibility and Relaxation

Sometimes simplicity is what works best and this DVD is lovely and effective. The video has a nice mix of energetic and tranquil poses, it is easy to follow and soothing. I have been having such a beautiful experience with my yoga practice and wish for everyone to give it a try.

I really like this DVD and the sequences taught. The four sections are nice because I can do just one if I want or do them all in a row. They're great for beginners and easy on the body. The instructions were very clear, whilst some of the other videos I've bought are too quick and confusing for me as I begin learning yoga. The background music is also very peaceful and helps set the zen atmosphere. Great product!

A little over a month ago, I ordered and began using this dvd along with other dvd's to provide a variety. I have enjoyed practicing and seen many benefits after using it at least every other day. It is easy to follow along. The directions and the yoga poses flow very smoothly and are very clear. I like that you can either choose one segment or practice all of the segments. I liked this DVD so much that I gave as a gift to both of my teacher assistants. Kanta Barrios has a nice and calm voice and along withe the beautiful sea in the back ground really enhances the relaxation. My favorite time to use this dvd is in the evening right before I go to sleep. I am able to sleep more peacefully since I began using this yoga practice.

As others have noted, this is a simple, low-budget production. It doesn't feature fancy or expensive outfits, settings, or props. Instead, a skilled teacher models poses on a wooden platform in front of a body of calm water. While the setting isn't remarkable or gimmicky, the audio is just fine, the instructions clear, and the music unobtrusive.



More importantly, the warm-up and three yoga routines are excellently timed and clearly explained and demonstrated by Ms. Barrios. Each pose is held for an adequate period and, while *I* enjoy the time set aside for relaxation/meditation between each segment, it's easy enough to fast-forward if that's not your jam. This isn't a demanding "workout," necessarily -- but if, like me, you are physically weak and fairly inflexible, it IS a wonderful introduction to yoga practice. I've tried multiple classes and videos before, but always felt like I was just going through the motions, and nothing ever stuck. After one week doing Yoga for Beginners each day, my balance, strength and flexibility are already improving. I look forward to it when I wake up in the morning. And, frankly, I'm also a more relaxed and happy person.



It's also not just for beginners. A friend who has been practicing yoga for more than a decade enjoyed it as well -- for her, it made for a relaxing, gentle, mindful practice. Even after I'm no longer a "beginner," I can see myself returning to this video on a regular basis.



Finally, I appreciate that, while Ms. Barrios is clearly very strong and flexible (as well as being a skilled and effective teacher), she doesn't have the so-called "yoga body" that's idealized in so many publications and videos lately. Three cheers for that.

The instructor goes at a nice slow pace throughout the whole DVD so it is easy to follow.

I tried several DVDs and this was the easiest to follow. I have been using it it for several months and am happy that I bought it.

Although it is not the highest of production quality-you get a very nice teacher, showing the yoga poses on a pier with waves rolling in, and a nice blue sky.

Kanta Barrios is pleasant to look at and has a very soft and relaxing voice.

This isn't the first yoga dvd I have bought and I have been practising for some time, but I wanted to refresh my practice and regain a beginner's mind mentality and this is spot on! Thoroughly recommended! Although the production quality is not the highest in the world, the tuition is of the highest quality and I now use this as my main practice at least twice a week.

I've used this DVD dozens of times and really enjoy it. The menu allows you to choose the most appropriate segment...depending on your energy level and time constraints. The pacing (not too fast) and narration is first rate. She takes the time to explain how to move into and hold a pose, something most other yoga instructors neglect. Granted, the workouts are not as intensive as in other DVDs, but I always feel like I've had a great stretch after doing one or several of the sequences. I bought a yoga bolster just so I could do the restorative poses on the last segment. Highly recommended.

One thing is clear and the teacher is passionate about Yoga! I originally got the DVD for back pain and I found it to be very useful. This is one is not as pretty as the other one but effective and fun to practice with.

I needed a mount for my iphone and ipod classic, so the mount i was looking for needed to be universal, and I didn't want to mount it on the windshield so I decided to get this mount for the cupholder. it does exactly what its supposed to, it holds the device in place while I drive. I can plug in the ac adapter to my devices while they're in the mount too. There's alot of adjustments, so it should fit just about any handheld device out there, it also comes with velcro for the bottom and a seperate attachment if you want to use a satellite radio or gps. To me they have thought of everything, and at this price point I would suggest it to anyone. Bracketron Mobile Dock-iT Universal Cupholder Mount

Unit locks into a deep cupholder very well to hold any electronics without shaking or rattling. I drive a Dodge diesel truck (maybe one of the shakiest non-commercial trucks around) and it holds up great, never dumps my phone and stays out of the way of my gearbox/stick. Reccomended

Generally, I like this cupholder mount. It is more gentle on my iPhone 4 than my previous Belkin mount, which broke in less than a month after purchase. My only complaint with this mount is that it does not remain firmly in the cupholder - i.e. the base wobbles a bit in the cupholder. Otherwise, very solid product.

The price being very low caused me to almost not order it. It is the best buy I have every made for a car mount. Fits cup holders perfect as advertised. Holds my iphone4 perfect. Great product for a great price.

Description omits major feature, that the neck rod is flexible but stiff, for different angle orientations such as face-up.

Also this holder is one which can grip a small clamshell type cellphone properly,not pressing little side buttons -- which some cannot.

This is a great product I'm sure for larger vehicles with better placed cup holders. I however drive a Grand Am and I can't us this in my car. The way my cup holders are placed this gets in the way of either my arm or I'm unable to put my car in "park" because it's gets in the way of my shifter. I recently read analysis of the Sangean PR-D5 vs. the Sangean PR-D7 radios. The reviews missed the point: These two Sangean radios target different market niches and needs. The PR-D5 is essentially a table radio while the PR-D7 targets folks that need a radio for domestic travel. I'm sure the engineers at Sangean see it this way. Why not buy both radios?



The Sangean PR-D7 has a clean crisp sound with very low noise floor on AM and FM bands, a great improvement over Sangean radios of similar size such as the ATS-505 or the ATS-909. BTW, I've tuned in all the major stations in the greater Phoenix area without a problem including the hard to catch 89.5, a classical station.



I have been very surprised at the overall performance of the PR-D7 radio and listen to this radio on a daily basis. The Sangean PR-D7 ($59) does 90 percent of what the Trivoli Songbook does at 25 percent of the Songbook's $200 price tag.



Still, the PR-D7 could use a multi-voltage AC adapter and a lock switch to be a complete global travel radio (like the Sangean ATS-606). Also, when traveling, cloth pouch would be a really nice touch. And while I'm making my wish list, the PR-D7 in a red or yellow case would be neat and easy to spot in a hotel room so you don't leave it behind.



One of the things I like about this radio are the controls, easy to learn and use, plus you can see the frequency and time on the display.



Update September 2008: I just recently purchased Sanyo's Eneloop AA rechargeable batteries for my PR-D7 giving me greater flexibility when enjoying this wonderful portable radio. I highly recommend Sanyo's Eneloop batteries.



Last week, from my greater Phoenix location, I picked KNX 1070 Los Angeles about 10PM in the evening.



Update October 2009: After owning this radio for 2 years, my little PR-D7 fell off a second story balcony and is now in pieces, so I ordered a second PR-D7 this morning. I suffer from cancer and kidney disease, so I've been in and out of the hospital several times this year, each time, my little Sangean PR-D7 went with me.



One of the neatest features of this PR-D7 is the no hassle recharging of the AA batteries, the radio automatically does this for you!!!



BTW, I ordered this radio from Amazon on a Friday morning and received the radio the next Tuesday morning. How's that for service!!!



Update January 2011: I have since purchased a Sangean PR-D9W radio which is now my go 2 radio. Sangean PR-D7 AM/FM Digital Rechargeable Portable Radio

I was trying to replace my Sony ICF-M410 which is about the same size. I was extremely disappointed I could not find it as they discontinued this model and I was so happy with that radio. In searching for reviews of AM/FM small portable radios, I came upon this one. Not too many reviews (7) but I bought it anyway because I wanted a radio that ran on batteries. I could not be happier with this radio!! Superior in sound and reception to the Sony I had and a BIG PLUS is that you can use rechargable batteries (I have been using the eneloop) and charge them in the radio! Doesn't get any better than that and I LOVE having the option of using the electrical adapter (which comes with it) or use it with the batteries only. There is no weather band or tv band on this like the Sony, but I really mostly use the radio for AM reception and talk radio which is excellent (FM is also). I highly recommend this radio for anyone looking for a truly portable radio with great sound, reception and a compact size. I also love the volume knob and the display which has a lighted clock along with the channel. Oh, I forgot about the sleep timer too that I love. Hope this helps.

I received this as a gift from someone who knew I would use this for the purposes of travel, which I infer would be suitable for this "portable radio".



Pros:

-Decent to good build quality. I knocked it off the windowsill from almost a few feet above the hardwood and its fine--no rattles. Fit and finish is outstanding, but the glossy surface is less desirable in this application. Why not use something textured or rubberized instead?

-Rechargeable feature works fine with my Eneloops. I can play the radio ~ 8 hrs a day for a week before the batteries start to wear down.

-Pretty good sound quality to my untrained ear, and can get loud!





Cons:

-Awkward button design. The power button sticks out more than the others, which means the radio gets turned on and off in your pack. A low profile sliding toggle button mounted topside would work much better. Heck, all the buttons could have gone up there, to make room for a jumbo display. Also, the front mounted buttons make one-handed control of the radio impossible when it isn't standing against a wall.

-Reception isn't as great as the reviews indicated. I get better in my 08 Nissan truck.

-Feature set doesn't justify the price. Where is support for RDS, which is standard in Europe and Latin America (this is a travel radio right)? Some rubber feet would be nice. How about the ability to receive S.A.M.E. weather messages? And the AC adapter isn't even dual-voltage? Whiskey tango foxtrot?



I applaud Sangean for making a nice little unit that gives the Songbook a run for its money, but I still think there is room for improvement in this radio. - Sangean Radio - Am-fm - Digital - Sangean Portable Radio'

I bought this and I wasn't really expecting a great wiring kit. I received it and was blown away by the quality of the wire. They fuse holder is kinda cheap and the rca's are average at best. But 40 dollars for 20 feet of 0 gauge wire is a pretty good deal. I would compare it to Stinger since it is made by Stinger. I highly recommend this wiring kit.

I purchased this amp kit about a month ago for my Rockford T8002 sub amp. I actually read all of the other reviews after I purchased the kit, thank God for that too. I might not have bought it if I had read them first. That would have been a shame, because this is actually a very good kit as far as kits go. Especially considering the price. The kit had everything you need from loom to zip ties to crimp connectors, everything. I read the other reviews about the crimp connectors and I keep reading things such as hammer and vice grips and pliers. These are CRIMP connectors, hello. Use crimpers, crimp pliers. I didn't even use my large crimpers, I used my regular Klein crimpers. The crimp fittings went right on and crimped right onto the wire, solid and stable by the way. The wire, which I keep hearing so much about, is indeed 0 or 1/0 cable size by the AWG code. The problem here is we have all been spoiled to companies over sizing their cable. I read one company, not naming any names, they had three different size and capacity 1/0 cable. Sorry folks, but if it is larger than .3249" in diameter it is no longer officially 1/0, but it is a larger guage. The RCA cable is well made, nothing extravagant, but it gets the job done and done well. Someone actually made a reference to the remote lead not being very large in relation to the other cables especially the power wire. They have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other. The remote lead usually connects to a TL494CN pulse width modulator chip which requires maybe three electrons to turn on. (That was a joke by the way.) I have never seen a remote lead correctly wired conduct more than 500mA. The wire included will have no problem with that current flow. I am sorry but for less than $40 this kit gets a 5 star rating. No, it isn't an Esoteric Ultra Flow kit, but then again, it didn't cost $120 either. In the end, this kit gets the job done!!

Great RCAs, Power and Ground wire..... However the ANL Fuse Holder is not so great. Im running a Hifonics HFi2500 Hfi Series D-Class Mono Amplifier to 4 Alpine SWR-1023D 10" Type R Subwoofers and the fuse holder melted after about a week of it being installed.

Perfect investment hassle free easy to install very quick to hook up. Was perfect for My System and now am enjoying this kit very much as im putting it to use as we speak, and a steal for what i paid for it...

I bought this to install a system in my friends truck, the product works fine but the cable is aluminum base cable strands with copper coating. not high quality oxygen free copper..but got the job done...so up to you.

for relatively the same price or a little more you can get a better kit at a good auto sound system place. call some local ones and get some quotes first. Again, this product did work ok though.

I was pleasantly surprised when I open the packaging. Wasn't sure what I would get for under 40 buck. For starters, all the cables and connectors are aesthetically pleasing and seem to be of decent quality and thickness. I'm not going to breakout the micrometer and/or test the metals for a place on the periodic chart, but I feel comfortable using this kit to wire my 1000 watt 4-channel MTX amp. The Speaker wire supplied will be used for door and dash speakers, as I will go with a fatter gauge for my subs (at a later time). This kit had all the connector/terminals I will need to do the install. The ANL fuse and fuse block seem fine. I don't plan on building a show car, just want to do the job right, for the right price. Only recommendation is to plan on how you will crimp the 1/0 gauge terminal connectors. Including the fuse block and a capacitor (not supplied), you will need to crimp about 8 ring terminals. For years, I've been looking for one of these high powered green laser pointers, but they've been too expensive for my budget. The Instapark 532nm is an affordable* green laser pointer. It is easy to use. The rear button turns the device on and off. The thirty second safety is a great feature to prevent a heavy dose of radiation in case the light accidentally turns on in your pocket or pack. In terms of style, the device has a rugged military look. The laser pointer is great for astronomy or long distance signaling. Given the intensity, I wouldn't use such a tactical light in an office presentation or in a game of laser kitty. There are two potential drawbacks to the Instapark 532nm. First, it uses CR2 batteries which are difficult to find. The other potential problem is the device's susceptibility to water damage. The directions indicate that the item may not work properly after wet. In a day and age when flashlights have been waterproof for decades, it seems odd that such a tactical looking device could be damaged by a leaky canteen in your backpack. All in all, the Instapark 532nm is a great high powered laser pointer.



*At the time of review, I acquired my Instapark 532nm for $22.10 ($29.05 with shipping and handling). Since then, the seller has raised the price considerably. Naturally, this is no longer such a great value as the cost is now typical of similar products. I've never owned a green laser but being that I was a kid once, I've hand many of the red ones. Green certainly is far brighter to the human eye and I can place an 8' dot on the side of a building that is over 2 miles from my home. The construction is great, of course it would be practically impossible to construct it poorly if you're machining it from solid aluminium. The problems with this can be summed up in three words, Made In China. The laser sprays a little more than normal up close, presumably from the cheap lens. After a couple of weeks the laser started to dim to the point that you can't see it from across the room. Once it was so dim that it oddly only emitted infra-red light. For those of you thinking "just change the batteries", well you can "recharge" the batteries by banging it around until the loose/corroded connections inside the crappy click switch meet up again. It would probably withstand being run over by a semi truck but it cant withstand day to day field use. I would pass on it if I had to buy another green laser and go for one I know is not Chinese quality.

This is not high power. I have green lasers of the pen type that cost $8 to $12 each that make this one look like a toy. The Military would never buy a piece of junk like this although for its performance it is priced in a military way (way over priced). SAVE YOUR MONEY buy one of the cheaper pen lasers.

I don't have a lot of fancy things to say except it is really nifty. My son loves it and it helps him when he wants me to see certian stars. It looks as if it points right to the star ! Very bright and compact easy to keep with you in a small pocket. I love it so much I ordered a second one.It is well worth the price!

This laser is very bright. It lights up my entire room with all the lights off. Laser beam is seen visibly at night. I've pointed across city blocks and freeways at night. My friends all envy my green laser pointer. The battery lasts for a few weeks from moderate use. On/off button very nice. Great deal; around $25.

I read all the reviews out there and decided to give the Instapark 532nm a try. I'm so happy with it I bought a second one for a friend. You can clearly see the beam at night, it's beyond amazing how bright it is. You can aim it to the night sky and it seems as if the beam has no end. Pointing to stars might be the only practical use for it I have found but it's entertaining in many other ways. The pointer is also smaller then I expected. Bottom line if your looking for a great laser pointer, look no further. However I would not recommend it for a child, way too powerful they could easily cause a accident with it.

I kept wearing out my red laser pointers and was disappointed at student's ability to sometimes see the little red dot. I decided to get this green laser and wow does it work! AT night I was pointing to things maybe 1/2 mile away! The only objection I have is it's almost too powerful in the classroom and you have to be careful NOT to point this in someone's eyes accidentally.

Purchased this laser with the understanding that it was 50mw. It is no brighter than my previous green laser that I purchased off of ebay for a few bucks, which came from China, and was a 5 mw. It I might add has had hours and hours of enjoyment and is still working great.



This laser does have the nice on off button, as well as a better case, but is no where close to being what they say as far as power. Side by side my cheapy from China is a tad brighter and has a smaller / tighter focal point a block down the way.
