Dtv Ready Portable Tv - digital tv, lcd tv

I bought this TV to use in the kitchen, intending to hook it into my DISH satellite system. Although the box indicates it will work with "cable", this is not exactly the case.

After messing with this for about a week, I finally realized it had no pre-set channels on it. Therefore, I could not set it to channel 3 or 4 so it could receive the signal from my DISH box. I called Philips Customer Support and confirmed this.

This TV will only work with systems that do not require a box to de-scramble the signal. If that is your intention you should be okay, and this little TV has an absolutely gorgeous picture.

I also suggested to Philips that hardly anyone is familiar with a TV without channels and they really should do a better job of advertising this on the box. I expect we'll see lots of these showing up at a reduced price in the "opened box" category. Like the one I am returning. Philips PT902/37 9" Portable Digital HDTV with FM Tuner

Setting it up took a long time. Setup did not come on automatically the first time I turned it on. Just press options, then make sure it is set to AIR if you are not hooking it up to cable....otherwise it won't receive any channels. Then select channel installation and do an automatic scan. If you don't get enough channels you can try rabbit ears or a better antenna. I used rabbit ears, but the plug on the TV is so restricted that it's very difficult to screw on most antenna connections. Terrible design there. I had to modify a push-on antenna connection with a Dremel tool so it would fit. I couldn't get some of the local channels on the included antenna or rabbit ears (rural area). I finally put the rabbit ears about six feet above floor height in a window and got good reception of local channels with an excellent picture. The remote is poor, with no volume control or on/off button. It does have mute. Sound is what you would expect from a small TV, but acceptable. After all that I am very happy with the TV.

Great picture quality. It takes a bit of time to figure out how to program the channels but besides that, the TV is worth its cost. The TV does not require a converter box to tune the local air channels. It is a great small portable TV for the kitchen use or for taking with you to places. The FM radio feature and cable TV capabilities are a plus as well.

I bought this tv as a gift for my sister to replace a bulky 9 inch tv in her kitchen but as mentioned in another review, this tv will not work with a cable or sattelite box so it did not work for her. She llives in a rural area so just using it for over the air channels would not work either. Unfortunately I didn't give it to her until after the time to return it had passed so I am stuck with it. I can get local channels in my area but am still not happy with this product. The picture is fair but I have noticed you have to be at just the right angle to see it clearly. Also, there are no buttons on the tv to change the channel so you have to use the remote to do that which seems silly since the thing is so small and sitting right in front of you.

Cable TV to expensive, this could be the set for you, i work 3rd shift so i don't get to watch to much TV,..anyway i ordered this after seeing what a good picture it had at thanksgiving dinner over my brother's..for $89.00 it's a great deal,i keep mine plugged up all the time, so the antenna is in a stationary position all of the time,.. i have not tested the battery life,i have not had a reason to take it any where yet so i can't comment on the battery life. The only time i had trouble with receiving channels was when the weather was bad outside! The FM tuner is pretty good also, the overall sound quality is good,...I'm very satisfied with this little TV

Several of us at work purchased this for our boss. He loves it! He has it mounted on the wall in the bathroom so that he can catch up on all the news as he gets ready each morning. He said the picture quality and reception are excellent.

Some design flaws: Why is there no On/Off button or Volume control on the remote? We use the TV in the kitchen and because of where we have it, it's a pain to have to use the slide off/on switch on the left side of the tv, and to have to use the rolling wheel volume control located just above it.

Changing from channel to channel takes a couple of seconds. There can be a lot of delay in the response from the remote...sometimes it just stalls out.

Set up is not intuitve. Manual does not tell how to add Favorite channels...had to call support.

The picture is okay. Seems to get good reception via the antenna. Sound is okay.

Overall for the price, it's decent. If they had the on/off and volume on the remote, probably would give it 4 stars. - Lcd Tv - Kitchen Tv - Digital Tv - Dtv Ready Portable Tv'

My wife is totally pleased with this anniversary gift. She loves the sparkle--our 10 year old son told her how lovely she looks wearing them. My wife is wearing them awake and asleep. She says the 1 cttw size is just large enough to be noticed, but small enough she can sleep in them. I called Leo to discuss getting yellow gold (as my wife preferred). He was very, very helpful in explaining the attributes of these diamond earrings--and the fact that the diamonds have visible flaws if viewed up close. I laughed and told him that if someone had their face a few inches from my wife's ear then there were other problems beyond flaws in the diamonds. Seriously, I wanted a set of lovely diamond earrings that my wife could enjoy and that I wouldn't be upset if they were lost--earrings are often lost. The diamond earrings arrived several days before the projected delivery date with yellow gold settings, the quality was fantastic, and Leo called to check a few days later to make sure I liked them. My boyfriend bought these earrings for me and they are absolutely amazing. For the price, the size and quality are great. The seller was very nice and the earrings were well packaged. I love the backs of the earring. The screw on which is a little more difficult and takes more time, but it is definitely worth it. I don't worry about the back falling off and loosing my earring. I would suggest these to anyone!!

I admit that I was a bit wary of buying my beautiful wife (who by the way is a certified gemologist) "mail order jewelry" but I am both surprised and amazed at the cut, color and clarity as well as the size and weight of these earrings. I personally watched my wife conduct he exam of the stones and settings and she says that they were not only slightly larger than the 5.1 mm width that a 1/2 karat diamond should be (these were calipered at 5.5mm) but the cut and clarity were also higher then the advertised info. They arrived before the stated delivery date and the owner when contacted by email in regards to just small preshipping issues was prompt and gracious in his response.

My treasurez. Sparkles in the daylight. Lost two sets that my husband bought for me over the years - and wanted to replace it as a momentum piece since he died two years ago. Works fine for me, not afraid to wear everyday considering the price I paid for this set. At my age, this may be my final diamond stud set since these screw on - expect them to stay put and very comfortable. Always wonder if my lil pom ate my last stud - he always goes for my earrings.

I bought this winch primarily to lift and lower a snow plow for my 4 wheeler. It works great for my use. I have also used it to pull the bike out of the snow and other things. I like the power it has and the ease of operation. It is also very easy to install. I will reccomend this product. 2500 Lb ATV Winch w/ Fairlead, Mount & Rocker Switch 2500lb

Winch maybe decent, but I have yet to use it. Instructions are extremely poor and diagrams look to be written by children. Solenoid is poorly marked and instructions call for a connection to the "lower left" of the solenoid. The solenoid is a rectangle and "lower left" can mean a number of things depending on how your holding it. Missing wire splices to connect rocker switch. No mounting bolts for the plate to any type of frame. For the $100 it cost for this winch, hopefully it's a really durable one because they probably only have $2 invested in instructions and hardware.

Received winch but nothing on said it was from viper, box just said made in China. Instructions were worthless. Used winch twice before it went up in smoke. I dont believe its made for any serious off road use. - Atv Winches - Superwinch - Atv Winch - Winches'

Ladies Half Slips - lingerie, satin

I now have ordered 4 of these lovely half-slips and recommend them to other shoppers. They are well-constructed, the fabric is silky and substantial, and the lace trim is very pretty. Their excellent price more than offsets a somewhat steep postage charge and the company insures their delivery within just a few days. For those who enjoy wearing half-slips, these truly are a find. For the price, this slip is awesome. I checked out some slips at Target and the ones at Target felt slightly nicer but they were more than twice the price. I ended up ordering the ones on Amazon because I like the thick lace hem (I think it's sexy) but it's the lace hem that I also took off one star. It has a funny scallop design in the back (I wish the back was the same as the front or that there were a picture of the back so I knew before I ordered it) because the scalloped part makes it really obvious that it's "underwear" and not nice looking when it peeks out through a slit of dress or skirt. The slip is also relatively "high waist-ed" so it doesn't work for some of my skirts meant to be worn around the hip (I can't just pull it down because then it's too long/longer than my skirts). Also, I felt shipping was a bit high considering it's so light and small but I bought four slips at once so that made it more reasonable. The sand looked more like a pale yellow than the pinkish beige in the picture but it's a beautiful color and I love it.

I was a bit skeptical about these slips at this low price, but they were very nice. I ordered the black and the sand colors in the short length. They are just the right length for my summer skirts. I've worn one of the slips a couple of times already with a silk wrap skirt and I was very pleased with the way the slip hung smoothly and without any static, as advertised. There is a more lace in the front than in the back. The slips arrived quickly and packaged without any frills. (I mean with no nice girly tissue paper or anything like that.) I would order these again. Thanks, Amazon!

Not always easy to buy half slips in the stores, very convenient to buy online. This half slip is definitely adequate, but nothing special. Sized right.

I also purchased some pettipants through amazon - had not seen them for years in stores. good price, very comfortable, prevent legs rubbing together, fun! Check them out!

The slip I received the first time had lace on it, and the lace is not cling free. If this is the issue for you, choose one without lace. A dress will hang loose until it gets to lace, then it bunches up. I have to say that "Undermoments company" has been just great about helping me out here. I noted the unit reviewed very highly in the various smartphone forums, and the price was right. So, I gave the unit a try.

I'm happy; it holds the phone securely and keeps it visible. It allows either vertical or horizontal positioning, and the cord connection from the Droid X clears the mounting and holding ears perfectly.

The unit rattles LOUDLY when the phone is out of the holder....but to stop it all you have to do is close the holding tabs (as if the phone was in the unit). It quiets right down then.

Was looking for a robust unit that could hold my Droid Incredible both vertically and horizontally without interfering with the power connection and the speaker buttons. This unit works perfectly. Sits securely on my dash ... there is a little anchor hook to stick to the dash so that the unit doesn't become a missile in the event of a hard brake or collision. The phone sits comfortably and securely with no impedance to the buttons and ports. I turn on the Car Panel app and hey, we're ready to go driving! The friction dashboard mount can always be removed when the car is parked. Never liked the other means of securing a car mount - windshield or cup holder. This is the best option, in my opinion. The price from Amazon was the best, while the "free" shipping took no more than 3 days. Great buy that I would recommend to anyone - especially for their Droid Inc!!!

The universal design works well with my new Droid X. the ratched clamp holds the phone securely and has firm foam pads to grip but not scratch the phone. a bit bulky but it works as expected. Interesting side note - with the clamp on the Droid it fits snugly in the 350Z dash compartment. I can use the navigation and hands free speaker phone with surprisingly good results. Delivered on time, well packed. would buy from this seller again.

Pros: good price, firm grip on my droid x, high friction material on bottom surface of base stays in place on the dash.

Cons: retrofit design - window mount attached to base becomes detached periodically and adds unnecessary bulk. Annoying vibration - combination of design issues including inflexible flat bottom base which does not sit flat on a non-flat dash and a lack of a rigid connection (rubber suction cup) to base results in every little road imperfection translating into a very notable shaking of the display. Annoying rattle - components in the universal grip make an audible noise when the unit vibrates.

My only dislike about this product is that it won't fit on my dash. It's not a product flaw, my dash simply wasn't built to accommodate something like this. I was very happy that the holder has a strong suction and attaches to the windshield very strongly. I had trouble keeping it attached until I used the alcohol swab to treat the windshield and now it sticks like glue! I have had it for a month now and it hasn't budged.

I have the Motorola Droid X and it fits very snugly into the holder and allows just enough room for the charging port to be used. It rotates completely around for use at any angle and the release is very sturdy and solid. I am VERY happy with this item and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay the 'brand name' pricing that these companies get away with charging! This is an amazing deal!

I don't really know what to do with the base that doesn't fit on my dashboard, donate it to charity? Not sure....

I wasn't expecting much at this price point so when I received the unit I was very pleasantly surprised with the robust quality and excellent function of this unit. As others have stated it will hold the unit either vertically or horizontally and the ports are accessible on my Samsung Vibrant (aka Galaxy S).

The spring loaded clamps that actually hold onto the phone are padded with a nice, thick and very compliant foam padding to keep the phone securely in place. The "sandbag" base is surprisingly and pleasantly heavy to give the unit some stability on the dashboard.

Highly recommended.

Holds my iPhone, GPS, etc perfect. Doesn't feel cheap and feels like a quality product unlike some of the other "generic" holders I have bought before that have fallen apart shortly after. The friction on the beanbag is great... almost do not need the hook it comes with...but it is a nice touch for added safety. One click releases the unit. Tilets rates and adjusts very easy to any configuration. 5 stars!

i got this for my droid x and it works perfectly with it especially since the clamps don't get in the way of the charger, and the base is heavy so theres no sliding around while youre driving. i use the charger all the time..works great and its pretty tough..it gets knocked around all scratched up forgotten outside in the rain and snow..keeps on workin !!the 200 amp will start stone dead car...the trickle charge will bring a battery back from the dead{depends on the battery's condition}...what else could you ask for ??? I work on old classic cars at home and most of my life. This charger is great for the guy at home that needs good instant starting power quickly. It will also charge 6 volt batterys. The instant 12 volt start system on the unit works great. Unit is not professional quality but works absolutly great for home use. It could be used in a professional shop but every day use would shorten it life span. If you want a nice item to add to your home shop that will not let you down this is the one and priced well.

I have been trying to locate from Amazon.com a charger that would individually charge Trojan 105 Batteries used for Golf Carts. The description said the SE4020 would do this but when I tried to charge a six volt deep cell battery it did not do the job. The clamps are not heavy enough to clamp heavy duty batteries, nor are the wires. I believe the wires should be a heavier guage to prevent over heating. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the reason specified above. Also I really think Schumacher should have used a more heavier metal in the construction of this charger. The edges of the charger on the bottom are very sharp and could cut you easily if you are not very careful. The wheels are also what you would find on a toy doll carriage, not a good quality battery charger. As for being a charger for all other types of batteries this charger would probably do the job it as designed. Just cheaply constructed!

It does what it is supposed to do. It supplied cranking power to a dead battery on a flooded engine in below zero conditions, no problems. It lost a star for me because of the cables and clamps... they just went undersized and cheap on this and it's disappointing. But, even as they are, the unit did work great, far beyond my expectations. I think I read some other reviews about shipping damage. Mine came triple boxed, perfect condition.

We were looking for a cost-effective way to power a trailer liftgate without requiring the truck to be present. After looking at a number of options this one seemed to have the features we wanted at the best price. So far, so good. Works well, meets our needs and I don't feel like I spent too much.

I ordered this for my dad. It arrive just as promised in two-days. He was so thrilled. It worked just great. He had to jumpstart my sister's vehicle. He loves the amperage choices. It is a well built heavy duty product. It works well with his yard mowers; charges his batteries rapidly. Thanks....my dad loves it!!!!

I received this Schumacher SE-4020 BATTERY CHARGER today, first of all let me say it was packed real good and no damage and I received it in a timely manner. Now having said that there are some things I was not too happy with and somewhat disappointed. First of all a reviewer before I ordered this said in his review that he felt the battery leads and clamps were not heavy enough, I TOTAL AGREE WITH HIS ACCESSMENT COMPLETELY, they may work but pretty light duty in my opinion too! They wire is pretty light guage and the clamps are not too empressive, somewhat chincy if that's a word!! Secondly the screws for the clamps that hold the axle to the bottom were way too small for the pilot holes that were pre-drilled and they would not tighten up, now I have to get larger ones it appears and that sucks. Thirdly the self tapping screws for the handle, the Chinese needs to have someone show them what a self tapping screw is, the attempt was made to make them that way but NO CIGAR! And those little drive on caps that hold the wheels on the axle, THEY DO SUCK OUT LOUD FOR SURE! The wheels themself are pretty generic as well. All in all I haven't used it yet and it may work fine, definently a good looking battery charger but not too empressed with the thought or better yet VERY LITTLE THOUGHT for the screws, clamps or guage wire used or the rest of the hardware, by the way the 110 volt wire for the plug-in is heavier than the battery clamp wires, go figure if the clamp wires had of even been as heavy wouldn't have been as bad! Just being real and upfront here, again nice looking battery charger but there needs to be some attention paid to detail items. Just maybe if it wasn't such a hassle I would send it back, again have not used it yet so we'll see first, but NOT a real happy customer on this purchase!!! More than likely will keep it if it WORKS!

This is my personal opnion and now at least you have the truth as I see it, and rest of the story. Maybe in somes eyes I am too picky too much but truth is the truth in my mind! I do think it is a good looking charge so gave it the benifit of the doubt on 3 stars, did think about 2 but darn good looking charger, lets hope it works when I need it!

I purchased a black and a white T in small and they are too big. It appears they are sized for men instead of a true unisex T.

I don't like having my t-shirt show when I wear it under a shirt and open the first two buttons, finally I found a v-neck that does the job. I was surprised at the quality when I first ordered just one. Since then I returned and ordered another 5. I gave it 4 stars because it is very good but I have not owned them long enough to test after repeated washings.

I received my first order of the large of this product, and it was well, TOO large. The Fashion Rack includes a return/exchange card in the package with the address of where to ship it. I exchanged for a medium, and we'll see how that goes. As for the product, it's just as pictured. Pretty decent quality, and I'm not disappointed with the product itself.

My Hubby loves wearing white V neck T shirts under his shirts practically all year long. I hate the way the common brand name Tee's V's show when the shirt neck is open and I hate the way they pull out of the waist band every time he sits down. These Canvas Unisex T-Shirts are a light weight cotton and run nice and long so when it's tucked in and he bends over he doesn't wink at people. The V is deep enough to not show under a shirt and the price is right! His only negative comment is that the neck is too low to wear when it is really cold outside.

This is a nice quality shirt with a good hand, and a great cut- it is designed for a mans body, and falls well below my hips-

I'm 6' tall and the small is a little large on me- but comfy- the xs is perfect!

-Product review update: I just purchased 3 more of these shirts in XS- love the fit! The colors really pop- I got blue, purple, and white.

Guess this is more a review of the company than the product (which is excellent by the way, very soft and durable). When I had an issue with the shipping a real live human being called me to correct the problem. I'd call that great service.

Okay, so I'm here to remove a review I did earlier. But I can't find it. So let this be a new one in it's place.

I ordered a shirt for Christmas. It didn't get here in time for Christmas so I was annoyed. I disliked the color and the texture of the shirt also.

The company offered a full refund and or exchange if I wished. I said no, it was okay. They offered and that is what counts.

But now I am now extremely annoyed by their repeated e-mails giving me instructions on how to remove my bad review. So now I'm complaining about that. I finally found the original review after being harassed to remove it. I received about 7 maybe more e-mails asking me to remove it. That could be why they only have one bad review on their site. But who knows. You would just have to try them and see.

Personally I will not order from them again because I don't like being harassed to remove product and service reviews. What I said in the first review was the absolute truth. They explained it and tried to give me money back.. so cool. But it doesn't change the facts of what I thought the first time.
