Xbox 360 Premium - football, futbol

I am a PES die hard fan since winning eleven 6, but PES 08's online play is really very absolutely HORRIBLE, how can Konami makes this one's online play worse than PES 07. If you enjoy offline play, this is the one for you, but if you prefer online play, AVOID it and save your $ for PES 09 (hopefully they will make next one better). Despite online play, this game will be worth 4.5 star. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

After reading numerous reviews on the UK/AUS version over the past few months I was skeptical about this year's Winning Eleven/Pro Evo game. After playing it I can see where the criticism comes from. While the gameplay is still top notch, the replays are fairly choppy. I can't understand how they didn't fix this problem, seeing as how its not a internet connection dependent problem such as online play (which has also been barely playable at best on a cable internet connection). Hopefully updates will fix these problems but for the time being I'll just have to deal with it. I'd still recommend buying the game if you enjoy the PES/WE series, but might wait to see if they can resolve issues with choppiness.

This is a excelent game toplay with 4 or 8 or 2 friends... have amazing really tricks moves, for me better than FIFA08, playbility it awesome and very fastest game, maybe 4x more fast than FIFA08, i have both... to me this is better game.

The only thing that i don't like to much is in XBOX LIVE, you can only play with other person in a single game, this means one to one (1vs1) this game doesn't come with play pro like FIFA, but it still my prefer game...

Thnx, and sorry about my english, I'm venezuelan

Keep in touch...

I've been playing winning11 since 4 years ago on PS2 and it's by far the best soccer game out there. I've tried playing the newer versions of Fifa and they hav improved a lot since the old Fifa days but it's still no match for PES/WE11.

In PES2008, you can expect the same buttons, gameplay, shots, passes, goalkeeping (still easy to score if u do lob shot) and dribbling. There are a few more "tricks" you can do with dribbling but they are not changing the overall aspect of the game. The gameplay is still nicely linked and does not feel much different from older versions.

The biggest issues with PES2008 is the frame rate issues on the replay which is one of my fav. parts of older vers of PES/WE11. But now the replays are choppy and impossible to enjoy after you score a goal.

Playing on Live is horrible. The lag is unbearable and you can't play a game without balls disappearing left and right. Online playing is just not possible and fun at this point.

my friend let me borrow this game a while ago and it was pretty fun. after playing fifa 11, this game seems kinda crappy. PES is really good(the newer ones) and i like them. so if you want to buy PES, get the new ones. Its a good game.

very good gameplay, more realistic than the others, the sad thing is that this version doesnt have too many license for clubs, but the gameplay recompense it, and if you ever wanted to play the champions league with the pes format, this is an amazing option.

I don't usually play sports games. Take that however you want. However, soccer is easily my favorite sport, and really the only one that I enjoy watching. I picked this game up because I heard about the control system and though it sounded really intuitive and fun. Turns out: it is! Absolutely love the controls. Point in the direction you want your player to dribble, point and click on a player to pass to him; It just makes sense. Haven't played the Wii in months, but dusted it back off for this and was pleasantly surprised. The only complaint I have here is that the graphics are PS2 quality, at best, but hey, that's my complaint with the Wii in general. That, and the fact that the commentators repeat themselves quite frequently. I've only played a couple matches and one cup and I think I've heard everything they have to say already. Luckily the fun of the gameplay here makes up for the muddy visuals. Good times.

This review is for the XBOX360 US version of the game.Pro Evolution Soccer is the game formerly known as Winning Eleven in the US. This year the reviews are worse than usual and that made me think something went wrong with the game. But I liked the gameplay from the XBOX Live demo and after buying the full game, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is a significant step forward for the series. I think what might have happened is that the European version, which was released earlier, had more glitches that have been fixed by the time of the later US release. If you're new to this series, what you can expect to find is the richest game of football there is. If what you're looking for in a sports game is gameplay, then this is the game for you - the responsiveness of players leads to situations that will still have the potential of surprising you after tens of hours of play, and that is what matters for a sports simulation. Graphically, the game looks very good (but not exceptional) and I have not encountered any framerate issues in over 30 hrs of play so far.If you've been playing Winning Eleven before, here are the highlights for this version: - it's really the first next-gen version for XBOX 360 - the previous version was just a port with higher resolution graphics, widescreen support, and missing features (couldn't save replays, restricted editing, etc.)

- player models have been upgraded and look more realistic than before

- there are significant AI changes - players hold formation differently than before and they learned some new tricks

- players are a bit more responsive and can be controlled earlier - you can now avoid missing a pass because your player was waiting for the ball

- shooting controls are not as sensitive as they used to be - this is good, because in previous versions any harder button press would result in a ball way over the goal

- the missing features have been all added back, so this is now as complete a package as it was on the old-gen consoles (not as many stadiums as before, but there are some new ones)This may not sound like much on paper, but if you have played the game before, you'll notice all these changes and their positive impact once you start playing the game a little.Gameplay is criticized by some as being too fast. That is probably true, but it's easy to get used to the speed and once you get used to it and with what it allows you to do, you'll find anything else sluggish in comparison. What is missing? I would like to see more AI improvements so that my team mates would be more proactive at pressuring the opponent. The auto cursor switch could also be improved - this has always been a nagging point with all football games I played - I wish someone would really nail this - today I play with manual cursor switch.A note on the online play - I only tried this once and that time was horrendous. I didn't try it again, so if online play is important for you, look for more opinions on that. For those hesitating between FIFA and PES: I gave up on the FIFA games a few years back because FIFA games place a larger emphasis on longer animations at the detriment of player responsiveness. Moving between FIFA and PES, what I always noticed is that in PES there is more action per square foot than in FIFA. Also, in terms of animation, PES is much richer - just look at what happens when players bump into each other in PES vs their behavior in FIFA. Of course, YMMV, so my suggestion is to download both game demos from XBOX Live and give them a serious try. Play them for extended periods of time (several hours) and see which one provides you with more fun.[UPDATE 06/04/2008] Forgot to mention two improvements: - there is a new commentary track - this was long overdue

- there is now much better music as well - Futbol - Football - Soccer - Video Games'

Husqvarna Push Mower - gas powered mower, walk-behind rotary mowers

Bought this mower less than two years ago. Took very good care of it and it worked well the first year. The self propulsion feature quit working and it was taken in for repairs. Toro denied warranty claim saying it had been abused. This is far from the truth. The mower that it replaced still runs and is almost twenty years old. Most of our power equipment is very old and usually become obsolete before they wear out or break. We have MTD, Husqvarna, Sears, Snapper, and Swisher. This is our first Toro mower, and our last. Should have know better. We bought a Toro string trimmer a few years back and it broke the first time we used it. In my opinion Toro is junk and will not stand behind their products. Our local "Authorized" repair shop told us that they have had nothing but trouble with Toro honoring their warranty, and are considering dropping the Toro brand. They also suggested to replace it with anything but Toro. Toro Recycler (22") 190cc Personal Pace Lawn Mower - 20332

I have owned this mower about almost a month and mowed 6 lawns with it. I am not impressed. The only good thing is mine starts easily so far.

The exhaust chute for the bag is too small. If the grass is even the slightest bit damp the chute clogs up.

The grass catcher bag bounces off when mowing uneven ground. I have taken 2 nasty falls from tripping over it when it comes off.

When the mower is not running it is hard to push and does not free wheel easily.

The push down speed control at the handle is very uncomfortable to hold down for long periods of time.

There is no height adjustment on the handle so it's much too high for shorter people.

There is no speed control on the engine so you have no control of how fast the blade spins.

Compared to other mowers I have owned, this one is a poor design.

Absolute piece of junk. There's a little decal on the motor that declares "Guaranteed to start". Really? When? October? I just bought this POS this Spring. I'm 6'2" and 230#, former football player, still pretty fit. I can haul and yank and pull this starter cord 20 times and be nowhere with it. It is literally destroying my back. I'll talk to Toro to see if they can address this major issue, and provide an update. However, a brand new lawnmower should not have this problem... particularly one that is advertised as an easy-starting system.

Let me point out here, 3 years ago I bought the same model of lawnmower, and it worked pretty well. No complaints, for the most part it started fairly easily. That was 3 year's ago's model. The wife got it in the divorce. I figured it had worked pretty well, I didn't need to spend time investigating this year's models, I just bought the same one again.

I am noticing in the comments and the comments on comments here that the "good" mowers are about 3+ years old. I suspect there was a change - design, components, suppliers, I don't know. Whatever was changed in the manufacture, it changed a lawnmower that was good into a lawnmower that is junk.

I was sitting in my yard looking at my long grass and thought to myself I need a good mower. I didn't really have the budget for a new mower but that same day I happened upon this mower on clearence, new in the box, for much less than half price.

Well, that did it, I found a way to budget it and brought it home.

I was very impressed overall with its function and found the personal-pace feature to work better than I had expected. I was suspicious of the GTS (Guaranteed To Start) within three pulls for two years. Well mine still starts on the first pull after twice as long as the GTS guarantee. It has a B&S engine so no worries there.

It is a mower, mulcher, and recycler. It comes with attechment to augment these features.

Checking the oil is very easy and, if you ever needed to, adding oil is very easy.

The only fault I could find with such a great bargain would be that the mower blade doesn't come all that sharp. I found that my grass was looking chopped and when I researched this problem I found that it was due to a dull blade. The instructions clearly state that the blade must be kept sharp to prevent such chopping of the grass blades. Not knowing their difination of "sharp" was, I looked at new blades and they were just as dull. I spoke to a small engine shop and they said that they just come that way and that you need to sharpen them upon purchase. Sounds kind of odd, but I what can you do.

I am very satisfied with my TORO mower.

I bought Toro Recycler Model 20332 in April 2011. After 2.5 months, it quited working. I took it to the local service center and was told there was no single drop of Engine Oil in the tank and it burned the engine.

Who in the world runs the engine without engine oil? I am not that stupid. For my defense, I always put the engine oil to the max and did just that when I opened the box.

I called Toro just to be told that I should have checked engine oil level every time I used it because the machine sometimes consumes the engine oil quicker than expected. It does not matter if it is brand-new or 100 years old. She said due to "lack of proper maintenance", the GTS warranty would not be honored.

Surely, the owner's manual recommends doing just that and I admit I failed to strictly follow it. But I did not expect the brand-new $350 machine breaks down this quickly. I am really curious if this is really a lack of maintenance or lack of quality...

I bought this from HomeDepot 3 weeks ago. The first week worked fine, cut the grass without problems, Personal Pace feature worked well, and I was very happy because seemingly I could move very fast with it. The second week I noticed noises from the gear box and I had to push much harder uphill, I finished mowing more tired than ever. It looks like the Pace feature did not deliver as much power to the wheels. So for the third week, I adjusted the cable as suggested in the manual. It worked well for the first few minutes, then the power was completely gone from the wheels. I lift it up, the wheels turn, I put it down, the wheels won't move (with Personal Pace bar pushed down fully). In addition, as I was cutting the grass, the oil cap came loose and oil splashed all over the hot engine making a black cloud of smoke - thankfully did not catch fire. I had enough, packed it up this morning and returned it to HomeDepot. Now I'm searching online for another model, but I'll stay away from Toro and definitely stay away from anything like the Personal Pace feature. Good idea, but isn't yet engineered correctly. - Gas Powered Mower - Cordless Electric Mower - Walk-behind Rotary Mowers - Cordless Electric Lawn Mower'

Salt And Pepper Set - kitchen, pepper shaker sets

These salt and pepper shakers were a great fit for the Irish Pub theme I am doing in my kitchen. They are very pretty and exactly what I was looking for.

Also, I read a lot of reviews before buying these since I had never used this brand or saw them in the store. Someone had said that the salt/pepper doesn't come out fast enough so I tested it out and it DOES come out at a normal speed. Maybe that person was just used to a different type of shaker. These are highly functional and I highly recommend them or any that are styled like by Grasslands :) Grasslands Road Celtic 3-3/4-Inch by 1-1/4-Inch Pewter Embellished Green Glass Salt And Pepper Set

I like these shakers very much. Just the right size, a solid feel in the hand, and good looking, too. Though it is a bit silly to put labels on S&P shakers if you can easily see the contents, the label medallions are attractive and haven't fallen off yet after 3 months of daily use at the cook top.

This salt and pepper set is even better looking and classier than it looks in the picture, I am very happy with it. It's a solid, well-constructed set that seems like it will hold up for a long time.

*update* Last night I dropped one of these on the floor while I was in a standing position and it did not shatter or even crack. This is a floor that things usually shatter in million pieces on too (we've had that happen with glasses and a pitcher). That shows how solid these are.

For once a product arrived as pretty as pictured. The shakers are a sublime green that serves as wonderful backdrop to the Celtic knots featured. These were a gift for my Irish girlfriend and she was very pleased. I can't think of anything I've purchased for under $20 that compares to this set for aesthetics.

These salt and peppers shakers are just lovely! I was looking for something unique and classy, and these fit the bill big time. I love the Celtic design on the front and the green glass is just wonderful! It's especially nice to be able to celebrate our Celtic heritage with such a unique item. I plan to keep my eye out for more lovely items from Grasslands Road--great products!

Every once in a while you come across something that is really good. These shakers are the real deal and will last a lifetime. They look great and the little pewter embellishments are the real deal too. Can't go wrong. - Kitchen - Pepper Shaker Sets'

Stuhrling - stuhrling, stuhrling original

I was looking for a gold toned skeleton watch for my significant others 24th birthday. He already has a stuhrling watch and he loves it. So it was a no brainer to get this. It's beautifully crafted, like all stuhrling products ( I have a womens automatic) and it's a stunning piece. Perfect when you're looking to feel powerful, confident, and to get noticed. Stuhrling Original Men's 127A.333531 Emperor's Grandeur Automatic Skeleton Goldtone Dial Watch

good quality, big watch, just the way was explained.this is my first watch from stuhrling, but not the last, thats for sure.one of my best watches in my collection, and i am looking forward to by some more stuhrling watches.thanks guys.cheers

What makes this watch one to own is the DOUBLE BARREL movement that is inside this beauty. I own three Stuhrling's myself, (including the desireable tourby)! My wife owns one as well. The skeletonized dial, dual time feature, and the AM/PM indicator is really a nice touch. Wears well eather dressed up or in jeans. I am a watch collector, and this beauty gets plenty of wrist time.

Enjoy!

I have been looking for a skeleton style watch for a long time and came across the Stuhrling Original Emperor's Grandeur, well, I had to look no further. This watch is beautiful. Photos do not give this watch any justice, the detail in the design of the dial, I just sometimes find myself starring at it.

It is a nice sized case, and for being a dual time watch, the size works well with both time makers. The large dial is not too busy, some skeletons are hard to read the time because of all the detail, but this has a good balance and, again, easy to read the hands. I have had many compliments on the design and detail when I wear this to work and functions. The strap is very comfortable, easy to adjust and the leather is soft, so it feels good the first time without have to "get use to it".

Setting the time for both time zones is easy. Being a mechanical automatic, I give it about 20 to 25 winds of the crown and it lasts for about 36 hours, with one full days of wear.

This is my favorite watch in my collection. I wear this to meetings and functions, both formal and casual, and again, I get a lot of conversations and compliments on my Emperor. If you are looking for a very nice, affordable skeleton watch, this is the one. Stuhrling has a great CS departments, I have talked to them about my watch and asked questions; they are one of the best CS departments I have ever dealt with.

Again, great watch and quality!

The watch I wanted was a watch which would function like a watch. Unfortunately it was mistakenly a rattle snake they have packed and shipped. As a businessman traveling often to China and knowing the value of their work and craftsmanship abilities I must say Stuhrling is a hoax. It cant be that the weight and screw is flying in a Skeleton, or even in a closed watch. The promised quality by highly skilled and trained personal and on top of it declaring a 2yr warranty is wrong and a lie. - Stuhrling - Stuhrling Original'

Telephone - dect, answering machine

I did alot of research before purchasing the CL82209. Attractive looking. I like being able to listen to messages with handsets rather than going to the base unit. Load phone numbers in one handset and it updates the other. Lighted keypad is nice. Sound is good. Handsets have good range. Battery life is very good so far. Have had phone for a couple months now. If you want to nitpic, would like more control over number of rings before answering machine picks up. Overall I am very pleased with this phone. I am really bad for researching things to death before purchasing. I will recommend this phone to friends. AT&T DECT 6.0 Black/Silver Digital Dual Handset Answering System (CL82209)

I got these phones yesterday and I just have to say I love them!

My old phone quit charging and I had to start looking for a new one.

I first thought about getting Panasonic ones but after I read some reviews, I found out they didn't have some features that I wanted.

So I decided to go with AT & T. I am so glad I did.

These phones have everything you can imagine and then some.

They are so easy to use. I can take them anywhere in the house.

They don't need to be charged all the time.

Intercom is one of many great features these phone offer.

The price was very reasonable and I am very happy with them.

Purchased this phone after seeing a good rating from Consumer Reports. Pleased so far with it's performance. My only complaint: the buttons could have a nicer feel. They seem thin and cheap. I wouldn't go with the silvering next time.

Good basic phone.

Pros:

* Excellent sound quality

* Features it has work the way they should and are easy to use

* Large buttons

* Easily and cheaply expandable

Cons:

* Very limited feature set - missing basic features such as speed dial

* Realistic range is far less than advertised - more like 50 feet across two floors. It may be possible to get longer range, for example if you live in a single story house with no walls.

This phone is a good value for the price although it is missing some basic features. The base is compatible with other DECT phones in the AT&T line, so at some point I may add a handset with more features.

I bought these phones after doing quite a bit of research on other sites. These phones were highly recommended, so I decided to give them a try (I had previously bought two Panasonic phones which I had to return because there was a lot of static on the line, and they interfered with the wireless router). I just received these phones and have already received an international call. The reception was crystal clear athough I moved to different locations of the house. These phones were extremely easy to set up, and the features are great. I like that it blinks when I have a voicemail - I always used to forget to check my messages.

We've been using the phones for a few days and so far we love them.

They have, by far, the best sound quality of any cordless phones we've had (we've gone through 3 or 4 sets in the last 10 years).

The sound is crisp in local, long distance, and international long distance calls. We can hear clearly, and the person on the other end can too.

The sound is also very clear when using speaker phone.

The features are intuitive and easy to use and set up.

You only need to enter settings and numbers in one of the phones, and the other second one automatically synchs in.

Unlike other phone sets, you have to set the answering machine using the phone. This doesn't bother us, but it is worth noting as something different.

Regarding a question someone had: yes, you can check your messages using the phone itself (no need to do it from the answering machine).

The buttons are large.

No "antenna like" protrusions that tend to break when phones fall.

Very good value for the money.

The final challenge will be to see how much the buttons and battery last.

These phones are easy to set up, the battery lasts a long time, and the sound quality is perfectly acceptable. I don't hear any static interference when using the phone. The phones make it easy to store your favorite numbers, and these are saved across both handsets automatically. I just wish it had a speed-dial feature like my old Sony phone, where you can press the speeddial button and then a digit on the keybad to dial your people. If the phone can do this, please somebody let me know and I'll update this review!

It has a greater range than anything else I have tried. I was particularly interested in being able to use it in my very large back yard. You young folks won't have any trouble figuring out all the settings. Us seniors take a little longer, but I have the basics down at least. I replaced two dead phones with this and I am very pleased.

this phone looks nice, but of poor quality, from beginning it was a bad connection-relatives could not hear me, I called the phone repair service, and the guy told me-he heard many complains about this particular phone, and why I did not buy panasonic, which was my second choice. Bad connection, but worse when other people calls interfere with my conversation, and its unsafe to use. I returned it for a refund, tnx to amazon. - Answering Machine - Dect Cordless Phone - Att Cordless Phone - Dect'

Music Player - cheap, tablet pc

I bought one of this tablets. I already have an Ipad (I am an Apple fan - iphone, ipad and mac) and I want it as a gift to my son this christmas. I have read good and bad reviews about this products and some other tablets. When I received it I decide to open it and play a little bit since I wanted to knew if my son would like it. Please, keep in mind it is not and IPAD. With that in mind, I test it and found very capable for what it is. However, it has no Android Market. So I google how to solve the problem and found a blog where someone tells you how to install a 2.0 ROM on it (this tablet is running 1.6 ROM which is old and slower). I downloaded it, follow instructions and "voila", now: (i) tablet is faster; (ii) I do have android market; (iii) battery last longer (2:15 with wireless on all time); (iv) I can download many free apps. Overall I found that for what you pay, this tablet is quite impressive. Come on, it is not an ipad killer, but for browsing, emailing, working docs on the go, and play some games, it is GREAT!!!. I did not rate it 5 stars because: (i) built materials feels cheap, which is understandable because of the price; (ii) it is not very fast, which is also understandable since it has a slow processor; and (iii) the back of the device heats a lot after 30 minutes or more of use. Maylong M-150 7 Inch Univere Tablet PC Powered By Android

OK, so I bought this for my 12-year-old son who begged for an ipad for Christmas. There was NO WAY I was spending $499.00 or more for an ipad for him - especially when I had already spent a ton on a new 360 and several video games.

I bought this for $99 (not sure if it was a sale or not) and figured if I wasn't happy I wasn't out a ton of money. The earlier reviews made me very cautious because they seemed so iffy. I also wasn't sure my son was even going to use an ipad because he is mostly into games and I thought his request might be more of a novelty issue than a want/need request. WOW!!! I am SO HAPPY!!

As soon it was shipped I took it out of the box and played with it - looking for issues and the other problems people had posted about or being "scammed." Luckily I'm pretty tech savvy so maybe that is what made everything so easy, but within minutes I was surfing the net, scrolling through the two books preloaded on the device, watching videos on YouTube and terribly impressed! (Along those lines, there is a YouTube video for this product that I found very helpful.) I hadn't even bothered to read the manual on how to use the tablet because my time was limited before my son got home from school. Again, all I can say is WoW!!!

I was so impressed, in fact, I bought a second one for my husband and had him buy one for me!!! I only spent an hour playing on the tablet, but it was more than I could have ever hoped for!!! I'm sure there are some "issues" with this when you compare it to an ipad, but I have never had an ipad and this device was so easy to handle (it felt weighty in my hands too - not cheap feeling), has a touch screen, was priced right, and did some AMAZING things. I'm so happy with it I feel like a kid at Christmas and can't wait to open mine on Christmas day!!!

I guess what I'm trying to say is if you really want an ipad buy the ipad because you are just going to compare everything to it and be unhappy with your purchase. If you are looking for something along the lines of an ipad, but not sure you want to invest that kind of money, this is the product for you. I'm going to college in January and plan to download my school books on it and there are 100s of free Android apps to use on it. Love, love, loved it!!

I received my tablet today and I love it I read many reviews. Before I bought and was skeptical about the item but decided to buy and try it for myself, got it and it works well for me I wasn't expecting a Ipad at all but the reason I purchased this item because I can't afford a ipad, the touch screen it slowl but not to much camera doesn't show as well but I'm not gonna use it videos show ok and I up loaded it to 2.0 great buy I love it

I bought one of these at Walgreens and ended up returning it. It does not allow you to purchase software or download from the actual Android market. You can download from a market but there is little software and I had little luck getting any of it to install or work if it did install at all. The screen resolution is good but I could not get any video to play in any format it was supposed to support. I wrote their tech support and they acted like I was crazy. They said they were able to play the videos in those formats just fine...great! The only videos that did play well were from Youtube. The ebook features works OK. The music player plays MP3 music well too. There was no way I could install and use PDF files. I could not read graphic novels on it. Periodically I got error messages when I tried to use a program. Surfing the net was clumsy. The touch screen is not very responsive but I could have lived with it if the thing played my videos. It has a mico SD slot but videos would not play well from it nor would they play installed directly on the meager 2GB internal storage. If you want to hook up a USB key, you have to plug in an additional unit to do so. It worked OK though..it just sticks out like a sore thumb. I tried plugging in my External USB hard drive units to play video, music etc. but none of them would work. Buy this if you like to watch Youtube video and play your music or view your pictures or read a book on it. The battery like if poor. You might get an hour or maybe two out of it before having to recharge. The thing takes forever to boot too. You are given a stylus to use if you do not want to use digits for the touch screen. - Android - Tablet Pc - Tablet - Cheap'

Iphone Car Mount - car mount, iphone car mount

I bought this product wanting to use my phone as a GPS without laying it freely on the dashboard and letting it slide around. I also wanted to have the iPod controls right in front of me without having to pick the phone up and look off the road too much. I received this about a month ago and it works very well. I've had no issues with the suction cup falling off the windshield. If you don't want to mount the device to the windshield, or are prohibited by law to do so, it comes with a small adhesive disc for dashboard mounting. You can orient the phone in any way that you want, and the swivel the phone mounts to can be adjusted to any tightness of preference. The phone, as expected, does not shake when mounted inside the device. The only drawback is that you have to remove your case to place your phone inside, but my case is a two piece that easily slides on and off, so this is just a minor inconvenience to me. I figured this would be the case when I bought the product, but the units available on Amazon that allow cases looked like ugly, blocky pieces of garbage to me. Overall, for the money that I paid, I'm very satisfied with this windshield mount and recommend it to anyone who wants to use their iPhone as a GPS unit in their car. This is the first car mount I have purchased for my iPhone (I own an iPhone 3gs 32 GB). I'll keep this review short since my experience with these mounts is limited.

*Holds phone securely in place.

*It is easy to mount in different positions to match your preference.

*The bottom docking connector is still accessible when the phone is mounted. This makes it possible to connect an FM transmitter/charger while driving.

*Easy to mount on dashboard or windshield.

-The only downside is that it probably won't fit the iphone if there is some sort of protective casing.

While it is a little more expensive than other windshield mounts, I think the price is reasonable and is a quality product. I recommend this product.

Over the course of the past several years I have owned a few different suction mounts for my GPS devices. Recently I decided to upgrade to the iPhone in order to condense all the gadgets I carry with me at any given time: my mp3 player, gps, and laptop. Which the Iphone replaces all quite well.

Using the iphone as a GPS is an awesome feature but I needed a mount for the windshield of my car to be able to use it. Like I said before I have owned a number of different mounts that have disappointed me to different degrees. However, all the other mounts I have owned all suffered the same problem of loosing suction while in route. They all would fall to the dashboard with a loud thud that would quickly make me to worry whether or not my GPS would still work after what sound like a anvil landing on concrete. Also, it's just annoying to have to pull over and re-attach a suction mount to windshield. I am sure I must have looked odd licking my fingers to apply moisture to the suctions cup with hopes it would stick to the windshield just a little bit longer then the last time.

That is not the case with this suction mount. When you stick it to the windshield, it stays there and the best part is, you don't need to apply any moisture to aid in the vacuum seal between the mount and the windshield. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that the material the suction cup is made from is superior to the other models currently on the market.

Another great feature about this mount is the ability to switch from either Portrait (vertical) or Landscape (horizontal) view with great ease. All you have to do is loosen a nut on the back of the iPhone bracket and reposition the iPhone and then tighten the nut snug again.

And finally the iPhone bracket leaves plenty of room for you to plug in the car charger and auxiliary cable (if your car stereo is not blue-tooth capable) for you to use the iPod function on trips.

I highly recommend this mount for the iPhone 3g and 3gs owners. It is NOT for the iPhone 4. The only issue I have with this mount is that I have to remove my iPhone's case in order for the iPhone to fit the mounting clamps. But once I place my iPhone into the unit I do not have to worry about it falling off. - Iphone 3g - Iphone Car Mount - Car Mount - Dash Mount'
