Assisted Opening - knife, camping

This product is simply amazing, definetly a big, hardy knife. Big, strong, shart blade with a nice belt cutter and window breaker. What is even better is how fast I got it! I ordered it on the 21st of december, and got it on the 23rd! Would DEFINETLY recommend this product + seller! EMS Rescue Pocket Knife Clip Point REMK

This knife is perfect for carrying at all times. Whether I'm in the rescue approacing an MVA or out hunting this knife is perfect to assist in my needs. Very solid feel with a strong blade. Window breaker works very well. Belt cutter is decent since its more for safe cutting it has its hang ups. The assisted open feature works good. I can pull it out of my carry and get right into the action if need be.

This is an amazing knife! i got it for 9 bucks and amazing deal and it is very sharp and with a rope cutter and a window breaker makes it even better. I was so excited to gett this and when i got it i was not not down. i HIGHLY reccomend this.

This knife is very sturdy and works like a charm. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the seatbelt cutter doesn't seem to work too great and the belt clip half fell off. But the knife itself is wonderful.

I was shocked by the value of this product. From the price alone, I had very low expectations for this knife, but decided to take a change and buy it all the same.

I was happily surprised with the product I received. The knife came razor sharp, and had a nice weight to it. The metal is strong, on the blade and the handle. Beyond this, I thought the EMS logo would just be a decal, or a painted on sign, when it is a very well done design which blends in well with the rest of the knife. When opened, the knife is very easy to hold and manuver. The window breaker seems great, the belt cutter less so, but i bought this for mainly the knife and the window breaker, so I'm more than happy.

While others may feel different, I love the orange color. I work in a public place, and having your knife handle be a bright color vs. my old black one, makes it seem much less threatening. Instead of a weapon, it has a color scheme of one of my hammers, and is as such seen as a tool by those who would ordinarily percieve it differently.

My one gripe is how hard it is to open this knife with the assisted opening function, much harder than on my other knife. But due to the lack of a lock function, this helps to ensure your knife stays closed. While its not hard persay to open the knife, its not as easy on some other models.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a good, multi-purpose knife that is ready for use right out of the box, you can't do better.

This is actually a quality product. I thought for the price and, let's face it, it looks a little cheesy in pictures, I was going to get another throw away. This time I was wrong. I do wish there was one that said MEDIC on the blade instead of EMT, but what can you do? Blade seems to be of substantial quality and the hinge won't slip the blade open by accident. Only thing is to be positive the blade is fully locked open, the ball bearing seems to want to stop it about a half a mm before full lock. A simple flick of the wrist and it confirmed locked though. I was just going to replace my last knife that I use as a screwdriver and lever and prybar in a pinch but it looks like ill carry both so I can still use the old one to beat on.

I like this knife. It contours nicely in your hand, is actually very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and feels very sturdy. There are just a few minor things that bother me a bit.

1. In the closed position, part of the back of the blade part of the knife protrudes as a 'bump'...hard to describe...this is nothing major, but just seems odd to build a blade with a 'bump' that would protrude from the back when closed. My Smith & Wesson doesn't have this oddity.

2. Not a big fan of seeing 'made in China' written in white on the black blade. Makes an American feel kind of guilty.

3. Once opened, there appears to be some kind of spring to keep it open - so when you go to close it, you have to really push to get past the spring. This is probably the most annoying 'feature' of this knife.

Love the built in bottle opener on it as well as the ability to break a window with it...not sure what that is called, but it's on the butt end of the knife and can see it could see it being handy in desperate situations...to break a window safely.

For the price, I was amazed at what I received. Would recommend to anyone. Very quick shipping as well.

This is a very sturdy knife. I bought it because of all the great reviews it had received, but I have a minor glitch with it. The screw which holds the thumb stud mechanism gets loose really easily, and I had to tighten that screw multiple times in the first couple weeks I've had it. It's just kind of annoying, but when the screw gets loose, it wreaks havoc for the closing aspect of the knife, because the mechanism you push to make the knife go down gets stuck in a crevice, and you have to use another tool to loosen it. This was kind of disappointing, considering how sturdy the rest of the knife is, but nothing a tiny torx screwdriver can't fix. Other than that, I'm all smiles from the abilities of this knife. It came really sharp, and shipping was fast. I've yet to try out the window smasher or seat belt cutter, but they sure do look cool! - Knife - Camping - Multi-tool - Tactical'
