Audio Jack Bluetooth Adapter - a2dp, bluetooth transmitter

I ordered this item because I wanted to be able to watch TV in bed while my wife slept. Its great product but not for watching TV or video. There is a delay in the sound, it's like watching an old Godzilla movie, the people's mouth move and then you hear their voices. I tried it on three other TVs my laptop and my Zen video player and got the same results. I guess this is why they call it a Bluetooth Music Transmitter. Miccus BluBridge mini-jack: Portable, Bluetooth Music Transmitter with Swiveling connector for all (1/8-Inch) Headphones

This is my second try at a bluetooth transmiter from a 3.5 audio jack. Compared to the first attempt, the Blubridge was a dream come true. I was able to pair to my Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset with no problem. The first device that I plugged it into after charging via the micro ubs charger was my ipod. The sound was loud and clear. I then plugged it into my netbook and watched some streaming video, no problems. I also have been using it at work with my work PC to listen to streaming audio while I move wirelessly around the office. I do start loosing connectivity after about 15-20 ft, but I only need it to work within that range for my needs. My favorite feature is that I can use it while I have it charging via the usb connection. You just need to turn it back on after you plug it in, as it turns off when it connections to the charger. Another weakness is the user manual is pretty brief. I have serveral questions about why the light blinks the way it does, but it works great. So with few complaints I give this device 4 stars with a strong recommendation.

I am a talk radio junkie. From the time I leave the house in the morning until I get home at night, I listen to talk radio, and have for years. Until recently, I listened on a pretty standard clock radio that I had on my desk. Well, the Powers That Be here in my office decided that anything audible was no longer permitted, and also that taking things out of your ear whenever someone approached (i.e. headphones) was "unprofessional." After three weeks of silence and not knowing what was going on in the world, I started getting desperate. And then it occurred to me that the people who instituted the policy LOVE their Bluetooth headsets and probably wouldn't keep me from using one. So I bought one, and found this, and they linked up beautifully. The headset is hidden by my hair, and I've been secretly plugged in for more than two weeks, now. I can move freely about the office - the range is pretty good, though not enormous. The fidelity isn't great, but, for talk, it doesn't matter. So far, the lifespan has been adequate - I turn it off and plug it in for an hour at lunchtime, and it gets me through 8:00-5:00. The only thing I would have liked as a charger that actually plugs in so that I could turn off my computer, but that's a tiny gripe.

So I needed a Bluetooth adapter that would transmit stereo from my laptop and iPod nano to my Bluetooth headphones. I found this little guy and decided to give it a try. It paired easily to my Motorola headphones (S9HD) and I can easily switch it back and forth between my iPod and laptop without having to pair again to my headphones.

Late at night is momma's time and I get to listen to my shows (sorry I'm a Colbert junkie) streaming from the internet. The thing works great from my laptop to my headphones for all sorts of things including Hulu, Youtube, Comedy Central etc. I can enjoy music and content without waking the kids in the other room. The reception is pretty good, even as I move into the bathroom from the bedroom, they stay connected. Not sure what that is in distance but it works great for what I need it for.

I appreciate that the battery charges via a mini USB port. Very convenient because it uses the same connector at my headphones which means I can use my Motorola wall charger to also charge the mini-jack.

I tried the Sony Ipod Bluetooth Transmitter.

I tried the Rocketfish Ipod bluetooth Transmitter

This is the only transmitter that paired with either my Samsung wep500

or the Callpod Dragon V2.

Both of these models of Bluetooth headset are older so maybe I shouldn't fault

Sony or Rocketfish but fact of the matter is that theirs wouldn't work and this transmitter hooked up

effortlessly.

Good features

1.Because it carries it's own charge it doesn't drain the Ipod batteries.

2 It bends outwards it is about the width of my Nano 2g and only makes it longer.

3. You control the sound volume from the Ipod.

4. It uses a standard micro usb port to charge so I can use my callpod charger and my motorola

charger.

5. It sounds really clear.

6. Used with an Ipod it is really loud I actually am using it at 3/4 volume.

7. It pairs with older model Bluetooth Headsets that Sony and RocketFish wouldn't recognize.

Bad feature.

Another device to recharge. - A2dp - Bluetooth Transmitter - Wireless Adapter - Bluetooth Adapter'

Portable Dvd Player - portable dvd player case, portable dvd player

The case is small, if you only want to put the dvd player in it then this will work for you. It will protect the player from hard knoxs. But it will not be big enough for the earphones and cords. I also did not receive the color I ordered.

I had to go and buy another case big enough to hold the dvd player, ear phones and cords. They are using this case to hold the dvds. Sony DVP-FX730 7-Inch Portable DVD Player Kroo 11273 Cube Case (Pink) + Includes a Determination Hand Strap

I was supposed to be getting a red DVD case and a black one showed up. As it was part of an xmas gift and received it the day before xmas, i didn't have time to deal with an exchange. The case itself is not well designed as there is not much room in it and no place for DVD's.

I got this for my 4 yr old grand daughter for Christmas to carry the portable DVD player we also got her. It is durable and easy for her to open & close. She loves being able to be in charge of her own things and it is great protection for the DVD player as well. As ALWAYS I find the best prices & products on Amazon! Thank you SO MUCH Amazon for making shopping a breeze!!

This is great case! Our DVD player is a 7 inch but I bought the 10 inch case hoping to have space for all the accessories. It is perfect! It holds the regular AC adapter, the car charger and the ear buds. I'm very pleased! - Portable Dvd Player - Portable Dvd Case - Case - Portable Dvd Player Case'

Energy Efficient - energy efficient, 8 port

Recently we have installed network storage devices, and started to run backups and multi-media services on our home LAN (local area network). As a result the load on our network increased substantially. We decided to upgrade from fast ethernet to gigabit. Due to the arrangement of devices, we have several 8 port switches connected to a larger 24 bit switch which I guess is the backbone of our LAN.

When shopping for gigabit switches, the Trendnet 8 port gigabit greennet switch came up as not only a low cost, but also a low power switch. We purchased several and have been using them for almost half a year.

These switches are silent (there is no fan), and very low power (on my Killowatt meter they always show 0 watts), and very fast. They have limited support for jumbo packets (I forget the exact number, but its around a jumbo packet size of 7-9K).

This is a good solution as a low power, silent, gigabit switch that runs cool and is low cost. The switch is unmanaged, but does have status indicator lights. You will see if you are getting fast ethernet or gigabit speeds on each port. We have had no trouble with these switches. TRENDnet 8-Port Unmanaged Gigabit GREENnet Standard Switch (8 x 10/100/1000Mbps Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX Gigabit Ethernet Ports) TEG-S80G (Black Metal)

This switch is solid. In 3 months, I've had no problems with this Trendnet switch.

Compare to my netgear crashes, gets into reboot loops, etc even after power brick and switch replacement.

The Trendnet switch runs cooler than the netgear counterpart.

The Trendnet, like the NetGear, has a metal case for better EMI control. The netgear case is just slightly thicker, which should provide better in-case ventilation.

The Trendnet switch has ports/power on the back, and activity/connection LEDs on the front. Because of this, it makes for a much more tidy desk, and easier to see link lights.

We'll see how this is doing when it's a year, or 18 months old, but so far, it's power-on durability exceeds the competition.

NOTE: This is an unmanaged switch. 10/100/1000 line speed, auto-crossover. There is no monitoring port, no web management, no SNMP, no IP sharing, and no routing.

This is a low cost, and well designed device. I highly recommend it.

This switch is well built with a metal case, performs well, and is economical. I did lots of benchmarks and found that I got maximum speeds while doing multiple concurrent large inter-computer file transfers. I repeated some of the tests while bypassing the switch to see if there was a change in speed and there was none, so this switch kept up with whatever I could throw at it. If you want more speed, chances are you will gain more with better cables/plugs/jacks/etc. rather than looking for a faster switch.

I also used a Kill-A-Watt meter to see how much energy this uses. The amount was so low that it took days to get meaningful readings, and this will cost pennies a year and electricity is not cheap where I live. Also, the switch is economically priced. This switch caused my network diagnostic to misreport cable quality as poor, but although some utilities might give you false readings, your connection will not suffer.

I read elsewhere that this switch is not compatible with WOL (wake on LAN/magic packet) and the person who posted that got the information from Trendnet support. It turns out that this works PERFECTLY with WOL as long as your computer's port is set to auto negotiation. In other words, if there's any limitation, it's with the quality of tech support, not with this switch.

The only minor negatives are that the printing next to the LEDs is not on both sides, so it will appear upside-down if this is wall mounted, making it awkward to keep track of port numbers. Also, the slots for wall mounting could have been bigger to accommodate larger screws. The documentation is minimal, but this is pretty much plug and play.

UPDATE Jan 2011. I have read comments from customers who have had problems using multiple switches of this model on the same network. I have three of them. One is connected with approximately 25 meters of Cat-5e cable to another on a different floor in my home. The cable run is UTP, about half vertical, and half horizontal though an attic with no shielding (except distance) from other cables such as power cables. A third switch is connected with approximately 8 inches of the same type cable, allowing me to have more ports in that location. Benchmarks of file transfers will not give a true picture, since the weakest link (hard drive speed, overhead from data encapsulation, switches, network cards, wall jacks, drivers, cable, etc.) will be the limiting factor. All other parts of the chain will perform at least as well as the benchmark suggests.

I tried copying about 450 GB of relatively large and barely compressible data coming from images of blu-ray and DVD sources. Transferring through all three switches, full length of the cable, etc. gave me transfer speeds of about 96MB/sec. Presumably, the hard disk arrays are the limiting factors in my system, but the switches clearly had no trouble with those sustained speeds. I used Windows 7 drag and drop over a network, which is not among the most efficient methods. A series of smaller files such as JPEGs gave me "speeds" closer to 15MB/sec, which really means that the speed over the wire was probably about the same, but a large amount of the data was overhead encapsulation.

Although it's likely that the switch was not the limiting factor, it's clear that users who are getting poorer performance have other factors that limit performance, making it impossible to say that the switches are the cause of their performance issues. A direct run of cable from one of the computers to the other, bypassing all three switches, would show if there were any increase in performance, thus showing if the switches themselves (or something related to plugs, cables, or jacks) caused the problems. But the speeds I got from several such tests were consistent, and higher than what I would have expected given that I used Windows drag and drop over a network. - 8 Port - Gigabit Switch - Switch - Energy Efficient'

Hot Chocolate - hot chocolate, soy milk

Almond Breeze is far and away my favorite non-dairy milk. I buy the Unsweetened Chocolate and Vanilla and the Sweetened Chocolate. I like this, the unsweetened chocolate, because I like to mix it with the sweetened, for a less decadent treat. Also, I like to bake with this too. It adds just a little bit more flavor to cookies, brownies, and even whole grain bread! (Think of adding unsweetened cocoa powder to chili or tomato sauce--it deeps the color and flavor). This stuff if just awesome! And only 45 calories a cup! Unbelievable!

I have an allergy to milk products and I am diabetic. For years I have used a variety of unsweetened soy milks. They have gotten better over the years but, are not the greatest. Also, too much soy in the diet really messes with the thyroid. If you have any health issues, your thyroid will get hit even sooner on a heavy soy diet. I had to learn this the hard way.

I have tried other milk substitutes: rice, hemp, coconut; all were either too high in sugar, too heavy, didn't work well in cooking or baking, didn't taste good, too expensive or all of the above.

This unsweetened Almond milk, chocolate or plain, is delicious! I've used it in lattes, baking, cooking and even drinking it straight and I love it. It's smooth, light tasting and doesn't leave that after-taste that many soy drinks have. I have even given this to people who didn't know it wasn't real milk and they didn't notice the difference. AND, it is very reasonably priced. It fits right in with the soy milks and cow milks as far as price goes. I would strongly recommend this product.

NOTE: If you are a full fat milk drinker - this might taste more like 2% or skim milk to you.

This is a delicious addition to anyone watching carbs or lactose. It has the delightful texture of whole milk and if sweetened (especially with Stevia) taste just like the bad for you whole chocolate milk! A welcome addition to my table. I also cook with the other flavors, Vanilla and Regular. The history of Almond milk goes way back since it doesn't require the same amount of refrigeration as regular dairy products. Try it!

This Almond Breeze milk is excellent, tastes great, is nutritious, sugar free and priced great! The product deserves 5 stars! However, it arrived in a box inside of a box with a little brown paper as cushioning. Only 3 of the 12 cartons were in a usable condition. 3 were smashed and leaking, six had their lids torn off so once the seal is broken, they cannot be reclosed. It would be great to get this delivered on a regular basis, but not in this condition. Maybe some bubble wrapping of the inner box would have prevented the soggy situation at my front door. :(

ADDENDUM:

Amazon replaced the box and every carton was intact! We are so pleased to have this product as it is a very healthy and delicious alternative to milk and it CAN arrive in good shape or it will be replaced quickly.

I buy this because it's low calorie and I prefer to not drink milk but the chocolate flavor is pretty weak. I add a lot of unsweetened cocoa to it when I make a smoothie. The Almond Breeze folks need to add more cocoa to their recipe.

I am a frequent user of Amazon.com and recently think that their package quality is slipping. I've had several products that arrived in less than ideal condition. This though, was by far the absolute worst! In fact, the packaging completely ruined a good product and I will never buy it from here again.

Don't get me wrong, I love this unsweetened chocolate almond milk. I can only find it in one local store, which is why I sought out an online supplier. Even though Amazon.com charges more than the market here, I thought the convenience of the shipping would make it worth it. I was so wrong!!!

The outer box arrived crushed and soaking wet. It was wet because the interior box was ripped open and 2 of the milk cartons were completely empty. Three others were leaking and the remaining cartons are soaked and sticky. Absolute mess.

I love Blue Diamond Almond Milk and have been using it as a substitute for regular milk or soy milk for awhile. Along with other healthy choices, the use of this product has contributed to me getting in great shape. Dont buy other brands without reading the contents as they could contain a lot of sugar and artificial ingredients. Not this stuff. Top notch.

Its also delicious. A+

I love this stuff! I discovered it through Hungry Girl, Lisa Lillien. The books are very helpful and fun. I looked to see if I could get this milk cheaper, in bulk and found that is was more expensive. I buy it in Trader Joes or Whole Foods for $1.99 for 32 fl oz. This package has it for $2.50. Oh well.

The case we got was salty to the point of being undrinkable. We tried 3 out of the 12 boxes and they are all the same. Still willing to believe that it could just be a bad batch, but I would not order it again until I am reassured that I will get a less salty experience. At least we got a refund easily, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced this. - Dairy-free - Soy Milk - Hot Chocolate - Unsweetened'

Surf Fishing - okuma, rod

The TU-150 is 15' long. It is 3 pieces. I own 2 and bought my 3rd on 11/9/10 on Amazon.

The rod is phenomenal. I recommend you litely sand all connecting points for the joints so that the sections do not stick together because they will... after sanding rub surfer's "SEX WAX" for surf boards around the connecting joints (inside/outside as applicble). This rod casts about 30% further than my 12' surf rods and I use it in extreme surf with heavier weights OR when I just want to cast as far as any human being can cast a weight and a bait...no kidding.... I am able to cast 12 and 14 ounce weights with this rod in extreme conditions and I can cast an 8 ounce weight so far I have had other surf fishermen watch in awe. I fish for Stripers and Blues on Long Beach Island N.J. and this rod is great. Clean it after every use, treat it well and enjoy it.

Put a good reel on it, big reel recommended as this is a big rod. Nice tip action does not lie, tells you when a fish is messing with your bait. It takes a bit of muscle and skill to cast this beast and I love mine (all 3).....they make surf fishing even more fun !. Enjoy !.

-ARTIE STOUT Okuma Fishing TU-150 Tundra 15-Foot 3-Piece Surf/Pier Spinning Rod (Large, White/Blue)

Great rod perfect for fishing off the shore and the lightweight and durable for any type of fisherman. I've been fishing for 15 years and i've found

no problems with rod and for the price you can't go wrong

The ad said two piece but it is a three piece rod. I have another similar rod that also is three piece, not bad but wanted a two piece. Two problems with rod, the sections stuck together and I had a hard time getting them apart. Actually two did not come apart the second time I used it. Also it developed a small crack at the joint, about 1/8" long. It has a good feel when fishing with it and I liked the eye that lays down when transporting. I own a lot of Okuma equipment for surf fishing and this rod is the only item I am not thoroughly pleased with.

Pros:

It is long 15' and that gives better casting distance

The first guide has a large diameter so the line travels easily

Compared to other surf rods guide diameters are larger including the last guide which I believe adds more distance to the casting

Rod color white is better when fishing at night to detect bites without using bells or led light

Stronger rod blanks

Non slip thick rubber grips and their positioning is better for distance or power casting

The rod action is very good for distance casting

Cons:

Sections stick together extremely hard to remove

Guide materials tends to rust easily

Reel seat has a minor play to it further tightening will damage some rubber around it.

Pole is heavier and thick in diameter

Very short insert points in sections (probably cost minimization in manufacturing process) it is a major disadvantage on this rod

Short insertion points in sections may have made them fatter to make section joins stronger but sometimes totally impossible to remove sections

Rating:

4 stars

Experience:

My good experiences are tainted with bad experiences. I had virtually impossible to detach rod sections.

Drove few hours to get to the high tide in one of the best surfs ended up with rod sections stucked together with guides facing opposite directions.

Let alone that I could not even bring it back home as it not fit in the car without removing sections.

Word of warning when assembling do not press sections hard together it will create a vacuum (just like clapping with cupped hands). Make slowly and gently go in (bit hard though).

If sections stucked together then remove the reel completely and hold rod 70 degrees to the earth surface (10 o'clock facing west) from the bottom section then go shake the rod hard to loosen the joints.

If above did not work flatten out the rod on a table and lightly clamp the MALE section (WARNING do not clamp tight) use thick rugs on clamping area to avoid any damages to the rod paint work. Lightly make three taps around the edge of the joint in order to press the female section slide out use a very blunt object like a cold chisel (not a sharp object) and a light hammer.

Why I rate 4 is mainly due to reasonable prize and the action of the rod.

It's big!!!...but that's why you order it. For the price, I don't know how they can sell it for ~ $35. Surprisingly well made for an inexpensive 15' surf rod. Casts a mile, but not for someone with a cardiac condition, as you will work. I have it paired with a 30 lb. test Daiwa 9000C and with some practice, it will sling it past the far break +. Recommend for someone looking to try distance surf casting.

I usually surf fish in close with a grub or Gulp; perch, corbina, croaker, halibut on a light spinning rig ~ 6-8 lb test, 7.5 ft. rod. With this 15 footer I cast out a piece of bait, put it in a holder and then use the fun light tackle for perch, etc., while I wait for something further out to hit this rig and ring the rod tip bell. In SoCal that usually means a small leopard shark or a ray. Fun

this is a great rod for surf fishing. action is perfect and the rod is strong. i took it to malibu for a little surf fishing and had no problems landing a leapord shark. ive got it paired with a okuma abf 90. i liked it so much i ordered a 12 footer with a abf 60.

This may or may not have been the seller. But there is a part of me that is pretty sure it was. The rod came to me in a box that had been taped together. At first I thought the post office did it, but the tape used to 'repair' the box was the same tape that was originally used for shipping. The pole arrived broken and two rings werent bent severely. Fortunately - Amazon took care of replacement relatively quickly. But I would definitely advise opening up your box from them IMMEDIATELY to see if it's in good shape. The pole is definitely killer for the price. It's not the best pole I have, but for the money I wouldn't be able to get better. - Okuma - Rod - Fishing Rod'

Motorola - motorola droid, case

This is VERY low quality... the front cover does not stay on.... the back cover stays on a little better. I am the kind of person that does anything to save money... but if you can afford the Droid... you can afford the Verizon cover in the store.... and it is MORE than work the $30!!! Blue Rubberized Protector Case Hard Cover for Motorola Droid A855 (Verizon Wireless)

This has to be the WORST item i have got from Amazon.....this is not a VERIZON product as described!!!!!!

File a claim and get your money back now!!!! not worth the $2.84!!!!!!!!!!!

DON'T buy!!!!!!

The cover falls off, just like everyone is saying!!!!!!!

cheap swapmeet aftermarket crap-o item....

BEWARE************YOU HAVE BEEN WARNNED!!!!******BEWARE*********

don't fall for the $0.01 listing with $2.88 shipping fee......not worth it......it breaks!!!!!!!!!

Cheaply made, the corner near the camera lense doesn't snap on and comes up short not fully covering. I've had ones ir red that fit like this, and they break after a couple weeks. Won't buy this style again.

I ordered two of these for my Droid 2 in case one did not work, based on others' reviews. Neither worked on my phone. The seller did a good job trying to make it right by sending another one that they said had been tested. However, as with the first two, the back part of the cover fit, but the top cover just would not stay on for more than about 30 seconds. I tried everything to get it to stay, and put it on with the keyboard extended outwards as well as with the keyboard closed. Once I got it settled in place, I even left it untouched for about an hour to give the plastic time to conform to the phone. However, the minute I touched it, off it popped again. I still have the back cover on which provides a little protection and makes it easier to find my phone in the dark depths of my purse, but this product is just not working as advertised.

This item says its supposed to be rubberized. I do not see how it is rubberized since i have rubberized one in pink and this one is nothing like it. Other than that no complaints. Fits my droid great and says put.

This was exactly what I wanted. It was really as brilliant blue as it claimed and showed. The buttons were in the right place and it was a perfect fit. I ordered several from other places and they didnt fit nor was the buttons in the right place!!!!

When I received my case, it worked very well..as time went on it started to peel.I'm not sure if the case was suppose to do this or not. Not what I expected it to be,hope my next one will work according.

This is the third one I have purchased this year. I can change the color of my Droid to suit the sports season. Being a Gator fan, blue is my favorite. This case keeps the phone clean and gives you a good grip to hold onto. Btw, the price is very right! - Cell Phone Cover - Case - Protective Case - Motorola Droid'

Pet Supplies - ferret, rats

I did quite a bit of research and shopping around for a home for my 2 rats, and I might add that I am a first time rat owner. I read books, looked on the internet, and shopped at pet stores near my home to see them in person. I highly recommend this cage for rats. It offers them plenty of space to run around and they love the levels. It is really neat looking too and encourages me to keep it clean (dailty cleaning) as I love the look and design of it. Originally I was concerned about the spacing of the bars, but my rats are only half grown and the bars are close enough that they cannot escape. As with other cages with the plastic shelves, you might find that they are urinating on the shelves which can be messy if they walk through it. I have found that if I add more bowls, toys, boxes, etc. to the shelves that they will more likely use the bottom part where the litter is. I keep a bottle of Nature's Miracle nearby for daily wiping up, another product I'd recommend as it's safe for use around pets. Super Pet My First Home Deluxe Multi-Level Pet Home with Stand

I love this cage! I have two little chinchillas, Giggly Puff and Gaia, and they both just love hopping around on the four levels as well as the ramp, the slide, and the tube thing. I feel like a lot of the other cages at the pet store are a lot smaller and just as expensive. This cage really is a good deal. I especially like the wheels that make the cage easy to move so I can vacuum underneath it or just move it around my room. I think the only critique I could say is that it is sometimes hard to clean the flat, plastic panels because of the ridges and such. Bottom line: this is really a good cage for that price. Other animals besides chinchillas, that would do well in a cage like this would be ratties or ferrets.

My husband and I bought this cage as a new upgrade for our chinchilla. Overall it's a decent cage and it was easy to put together (though difficult to clean). We left out the ramps, slide, and all of the extra stuff. However, I'm now wishing that we had done a bit more searching for something without plastic platforms (we were in a rush for various reasons...no excuse I know!). Our chinchilla has very easily torn through the edges of the platforms, and obviously it isn't healthy for anything to eat plastic, especially chinchillas. It didn't matter how many chew things or how much exercise we gave her, she kept right on eating at the plastic. We just ordered some wooden platforms to replace the plastic and I'm hoping they will attach fine to this cage so that we don't have to buy a new cage completely. If not then I suppose we'll try to sell it, chewed platforms and all.

So if you're considering this for a chinchilla I highly recommend against it. You definitely want to go for something that has wood and/or metal instead of plastic. I honestly don't know what I was thinking with this purchase, other than that I wasn't!

I like this cage so much that i bought it twice! Not because it broke, but because I donated my first one when I decided having rat companions was too hard (they don't live long enough.) Well, being ratless left a big gaping hole in my heart which was so much harder than losing them, so I got another cage and a few more ratties.

PLUS SIDE

-Easy to clean!

- You can order extra shelves (or make your own) which the LOVE.

-They love climbing up and down the sides which is good exercise.

-can't beat the price!

-If you buy this cage from Amazon & there is any problem with broken/missing parts they are SO GOOD about replacing the item with a new one (plus free shipping!), and if need be, call customer service & tell them you need them to send a new cage before you send back the defective one back so your critters have a place to live in the mean time.

MINUS SIDE

-Not good for small (still growing) rats because if they want to, they can squeeze between the bars, which have a one inch spacing. I never had this problem but I take in harder to adopt rats & i think they know a good thing when they find it!

-Needs to be retrofitted for ill/older rats because it can be hard for them maneuver from landing to landing through the hole in the shelf (when my female Little Roo developed inoperable groin tumors I was constantly worried for her so I ordered her a Critter Nation.)

This is a great RAT cage!

I was really disappointed with this.

The Good:

- only took about 20 minutes to put together, all the tools you need are included

- good size, small footprint

- very good door placement, all the spots are easy to reach

- easy to remove cage part for cleaning the bottom

- you don't need them, but the instructions are very clear

- looks like it'd be fun if it worked

- the solid bottom with deep sides is an excellent design for cleaning, you can't really appreciate this until you've tried anything else

The Bad:

- super-cheap plastic, my ramp was broken in the box

- maybe okay for rats, but all the holes were almost too small for my baby ferrets to get through (they're chubby but not THAT chubby)

- my ferrets might be dumber than most, but they couldn't figure out how to use the tunnel or spiral stairs, i think mostly because the turns were too sharp and the passage too narrow. they resorted to climbing the cage wall to get to the next level

- with the cheap plastic, the ramps/tubes/spiral are not sturdy, they shook horribly, even with my tinniest ferret, this made them very nervous and reluctant to even try using them (the fastening mechanisms were fine though, i don't think there was actually any chance of the ramp/tube/spiral actually falling)

- the cage just sits on the wheels, i feel like if there were little kids around they could easily accidentally knock the whole cage over

- my ferrets could open the doors, i had to adjust the latches myself with pliers

- again with the cheap plastic - the cage fastens to the plastic bottom with 2 small plastic fasteners, which are on the verge of breaking after only taking them off twice (you'll probably want to take them off weekly to clean the cage)

- the deep sides on the bottom make it hard for things that latch to the cage bars to reach the floor - litter box / water bottles / food dish were all too high off the ground

Conclusion:

as it is, it's unusable (for ferrets). i scrapped mine for pieces to build a new cage myself - Ferret - Rats - Pet Supplies - Ferret Cage'
