This was exactly what I was looking for! Fits the phone like a glove without making it bulky. I ordered this case as I wanted to get something to protect my fragile new iPhone 3gs. There were a lot of choices out there so I figured I'd go with something inexpensive that had a screen protector and had gotten solid reviews.

I have the white version of the iphone so I went with a white case. It shipped quickly and arrived safely. I was pleased initially with the case, specifically the screen protector which once properly applied has stayed snugly in place and doesn't seem to limit screen sensitivity. However, the case itself is another story. When I first put it on, (keep in mind that no directions are included), it fit nicely. It's not the greatest looking case but I've seen worse. It has a sort of cheap look to it; not something a professional would likely want to use at the workplace but one that a teen might enjoy. After about a month or so of use the case became extremely stretched out. It now is so loose it that it is almost worthless to put it on the phone. Mainly I use it for protection while in my purse but when it comes out, off comes the cover.

So I would only recommend this to someone who wants something cheap for their teenager and who wants a reliable screen protector. Othewise, I would search for something with more quality.

I feel my phone is definitely better protected than without a case. This product is lightweight and easy to "install". I've found only 2 drawbacks; 1. There isn't an opening to show off the Apple Logo on the back of the phone. 2. The fabric is sticky, so it's difficult to slide the phone into the pocket of my purse or pants.

Well definitely this is one of the slimmest silicone iPhone covers I've ever seen. And despite of that, it does provide "OK" protection (I've drop it a couple of times now with no impact on chassis). However I kept wondering if the sellers have two models, a quality one and a sloppy one, because many reviewers have praise the quality of this skin case. Unfortunately mine is definitely sloppy. The cut outs are not even, they don't fit correctly at the camera side nor the silencing lever. For me the worst part is that, since it fails to provide a firm grab, it moves around to much to the point that I'm always pushing out the screen protector (which comes with the skin case and is in fact pretty good) from the edges of the phone .



Honestly I was expecting a little more even despite the price.

I bought the clear one because of the subtle swirl design and figured it would look okay with my white 3GS. However, after a few days, nice clear color started to yellow and was much more noticeable BECAUSE my iphone was white...

The silicone case has held so far (abt 2-3 weeks) but the screen protector came off in 7-10 days. While the screen protector was there, although it changed the look of the iphone quite a bit (nothing to blame the product as such) funcitonality wise it was ok. Havind bought and returned a black case in store, I ordered the white online since the black wasnt there and the white isnt appealing. It changed the look of the phone and if given an another option I would love to have the black.

This is without a doubt the best cover I've bought for my iPhone 3GS. And for 1/4 the price of those other covers you'll buy anywhere else. I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in buying it. Cheap External Usb Floppy Drive - floppy, external floppy drive

Unit arrived promptly yesterday from Tiger Direct. First thing I noticed was the plastic flap door (which normally covers the hole where the disk goes) was misaligned. Thought I was going to have to break it out, but I was able to bend it and get it working properly without having to take things apart. Then I tried plugging it into the right side USB port of my Mac PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.3.9 (and put a floppy disk in). The drive made loud grinding noises on the disk, and wouldn't stop, but no icon appeared on the desktop. Then put it on a Dell Windows XP laptop I had, and it worked fine--well, almost. When I tried to Quick Format a disk, it said the disk was write protected (which it wasn't), but I put in a different disk, then re-inserted the first one, and it formatted it. I hadn't bothered to install the Windows drivers that came with the unit; by the way, there are no drivers necessary for Max OS X, and, apparently, not for Windows XP either. Took the drive back to the Mac and tried plugging it in to the LEFT side USB port, and suddenly it worked fine. Tried the RIGHT side port again, no luck. First time I've seen something like this.



Also, there is NOTHING on the unit with the name "Sabrent" that I could find. I wondered if I actually got what I'd ordered.



That's the extent of my use of this thing so far. Assuming it keeps working this way, I won't be sending it back.

I recently purchased a Sabrent SBT-UFDB USB External 3.5 inch Floppy Disk Drive for my new Dell Computer. As you are well aware most, if not all, new computer systems do not include a 3.5 inch disk drive anymore. I have hundreds of 3.5 inch floppy disks with vital information on them that I need to access in my profession as a Pastor. This particular unit is just what I needed to get the job done. All I had to do was plug it into my computer's USB port and away I went. I experienced absolutely no problems with its installation, just plug it in and its done. I am not a computer savy person so I needed a fool proof system that works all the time. This 3.5 inch disk drive provided me access to my data and I can now use the files that I spent hours preparing before the technology changed. With the onset of flash memory, the floppy disk, as a computer medium, has gone the way of the Dodo bird. On new computer systems, a floppy drive is usually an add-on. This USB floppy drive is exactly what you need to transfer any old floppy's to your new machine. It was recognized immediately by both my Vista and XP machines and has worked without any issues. In other words, it performs exactly as it should for a low price.

I have many photos on floppy disc and my new computers didn't come with a floppy drive. I will be using the drive with both my laptop and desk top. Shipping and setup were flawless. Would I buy this item again from Amazon? Yes, the price was right and the item was shipped promptly.

The product wont read disks when inserted if you have a Mac. You need to insert a disk then unplug the device and plug it back in. It also only read about one out of every four disks that I inserted. I only bought it because I found some old floppies and was curious as to what was on them. Mac users, if you need one of these drives I recommend one that Sony sells. I used it about a year ago then promptly sold it, a mistake on my part... The only reason I gave the Sabrent two stars is because it actually read a disk.

"It works good. I will tell everybody. When somebody has a computer without A Drive, I will tell them to buy this one. I don't know what I would do if I did not hear about this one. Thank you for air mailing my order to me, real fast."

I bought an external hard drive in order to backup the entire contents of my laptop. Unfortunately Windows XP won't let you create a restore disk on CD-rom, it has to be a floppy disk. That left me two options: 1) buy a full-fledged software package like Norton Ghost for about $70 or buy this cheap floppy disk drive. Given the price difference and the mediocre reviews for the fancy software packages, I went with the disk drive. The Windows software for backing up your entire hard drive could not be simpler, and it worked like a charm. The only trouble I had was that the floppy disc drive couldn't use or format some of my diskettes. I have yet to figure out why. Other old diskettes worked fine. They might just be so old that they degraded, but they were a type that it is supposed to be able to use.



Update: I haven't had any trouble with recently purchased disks. I think the others were just old.

My new laptop computer with Vista didn't have a 3.5 floppy dirve. I had a lot of files saved on 3.5 disks from my old computer and need an easy way to get them on the laptop. I plugged the drive into the USB port and Vista automatically recognized the drive, automatically set up the drivers, and it was ready to use. It does come with a disk and instruction book for loading drivers for other systems but the disk isn't needed for Vista. The USB cord is only 16 inches long, which could be a problem if you were connecting to the back of a desk-top computer, but you can buy a USB extension cable it needed.



I loaded files from 33 disks on my first try and didn't have any problems. The price for this item was only about half of what some of the brand name floppy drives cost. Be aware that this item is listed as a Sabrent brand drive but the box it comes in is marked Teac Corporation. When you load it on your system it shows up as a Mitsumi FDD 061M USB device. Travel Alarm Clock

I used an Indiglo travel alarm as my main alarm for over ten years. Eventually, it stopped working. I have been on a quest to replace it ever since--about six years now. The main thing I've learned by trying so many other alarms is--it's hard to find a good, basic, no-frills, reliable alarm clock.



Some alarms lose time. Some snooze for 10 or 15 minutes, which defeats the awakening process. Some are loud and/or obnoxious while others are barely audible. One couldn't keep time, AND after it fell off my nightstand--for the first time--the numbers became unreadable. A LOT are not Indiglo, and the backlights are so bright they could double as airstrip lighting; I've had to make them covers to dull the light so I could go to sleep.



I finally gave up finding a suitable replacement at local stores, and started alarm clock shopping online. After comparing features, reading reviews, and checking carefully for 1) battery powered operation 2) no constant backlight and 3) regular old-fashioned only lights up when you push the button (Indiglo), I chose this Elgin travel alarm.



I've used it as my only alarm for several weeks now. It works better than the (many) others I've tried.



Pros

1) no cords (especially good, since it is sold as a travel alarm)

2) audible, obviously an alarm, but the sound isn't TOO grating

3) lightweight

4) the stand covers the button, so if you were traveling instead of using it as a regular alarm (like me) it wouldn't end up draining the batteries by being pressed down the whole time

5) it appears to keep time appropriately (so far, anyway)

6) the numbers are large enough to read without my glasses

7) red locator light is handy

8) low price



Cons

1) it only has a 4 minute "snooze" between alarms

2) required batteries (2 AAA) do not come with it

3) the stand seems flimsy and sticks out pretty far in the back

4) the buttons don't slide smoothly, but they aren't too bad

5) the Indiglo is slightly too bright--it does take a second or two to be able to see the numbers after hitting the snooze button

6) did I mention the 4 minute snooze?



I've dropped it off my nightstand a couple of times. I'm not a morning person, and the four minutes pass quickly--I tend to reach out without looking the first couple of times, and have misjudged its location and pushed it off the stand. So far, it remains intact (the stand hasn't even broken off or cracked yet).



Overall, it's the best replacement I've found during my years of searching. The four minute snooze is REALLY annoying though; the old Indiglo had a 8 (or 7, I don't remember for sure at this point, so many alarms later) minute snooze interval and that was just about perfect. While not a "perfect replacement," it is obvious they don't make what I'm looking for anymore. I will give up the search and use this Elgin. It is adequate, and certainly does its job. It's hard to sleep when the alarm goes off every time you get comfortable from snoozing it the last time. The alarm tone is loud enough to wake you, but not loud enough to make you cling to the ceiling with surprise. The red light helps locate it when it's ringing (although I have to wait a second for the blue light to go down after pushing snooze before I can look at the time).



If it had twice the snooze length (8 minutes), I would give it five stars, since the other flaws are so minor. I might even settle for a six minute snooze. Since it's only four minutes, though, that and all the minor flaws add up to only four stars. ELGIN TRAVEL ALARM CLOCK

I didn't see this anywhere before I bought this item, but it only snoozes for 4 minutes. It has an annoying alarm that is sure to wake and irritate you and when you press snooze (or turn on the night light) it emits a high pitch whine that is sure to drive away dogs. It has a single alarm that is easy to set. It is small and folds up for travel.

Because of the generally positive reviews and the really low price I decided to take a chance and try one of these. My initial opinion matched those of the best reviews. It is a cheap, simple alarm clock and a great package for travel. The display is large and clear, the controls are intuitive and easy to use, the night light and snooze alarm are easy to access, and the alarm is nice and loud. I was really starting to love it........and then the display pixels started to drop out. The display soon became unreadable.



The clock was just too cheap to bother sending back so I ordered another one. It worked great the first night. When it rang in the morning I hit the snooze alarm and, since then, if the alarm is enabled at all it rings every several minutes. I kept trying it periodically for a couple of days. I even took the batteries out for a while and then replaced them. No change. It is locked into perpetual snooze mode.



I finally gave up and, for an additional $2.50, ordered a Casio. It works just fine.'

I used to have one of these back in college, ate them all the time, until I graduated and chucked mine out...regretted it to this day so I got another.



We have a foreman - makes great panini but these sandwich makers are one of a kind and can't be replicated in any other machine.



It's for sure a unitasker

You can't use pepridge farm loaves - the slices are too big, think of generic white bread size and you're in luck. Big slices will hang off the side and not give you the perfect triangles you need. You can cut bread to size but that's a lot of work.



you don't need to lube the machine (it's non stick, and you don't need to butter the outside of the bread) - that's just added calories



Suggestions:

I buy a GIANT bag (talking costco size) of mexican cheese blend

Faves: Pepperoni & Cheese

Ham & Cheese

Hot Dog and Cheese

Salami and Cheese

Peanut Butter Sandwiches (I have an aversion to jam/jellys/marmalade) so the gooey peanut butter is awesome.



I rarely use any seasoning in it



Dessert:

Nutella - that's it, nutella

If you're fruity - maybe some strawberry jam/marmalade



Now that I'm grown and with my own fridge, I'm definitely going to be more creative (although the above mentions are still my favorite) YUM!

Quick meals 2-3 minutes cook time with maybe 2-3 minutes prep time.



Also great for kiddos. The sandwiches are small enough (triangles) for my 2 year old's hands, PB&J and FlufferNutter, just don't leave it in too long, or the gooey stuff gets a bit hot and can be dangerous.

This is exactly like the one I had when my husband and I got married many years ago. Thankfully the company knew they had a "keeper" by not changing a thing about the sandwich maker. It's very easy to use and easy to clean. Anyone with children will appreciate this as kids like to "create" their own sandwiches and with little or no supervision, depending on their age, your kids will come to love the concept of being able to make their own sandwich with this little gem.

I ordered this for my 14 Yr. old Grandson at Christmas. He absolutely loves it! It does everything it says and is easy to use. Now, he can make sandwiches for us. Good product and arrived in time for Christmas.

I was forced to break the lock button on the very first use! The actual toasting is pretty decent. However, with the very first use, the lock button wouldn't release. I actually had to insert a knife to pry the halves apart, which broke the lock. The unit still works. Very, very disappointing, Proctor Silex.



Update: after perhaps a few dozen uses, the non-stick coating (along one dividing edge) has now started to wear off. Because these flakes are potentially carcinogenic when carcinogenic, into the garbage the sandwich maker has gone. I have tried many USB to RS232 adapters.

The Startech Brand is the ONLY one I have found that works with;

All PLC Brands, AllenBradley, Siemens, Modicon, etc. etc.

Servos, Indramat, Siemens, AB, etc. etc.



I have tried MANY Brands. None of them work for Controls Engineering. I think it is because most of them are tested for the most popular purpose, which is PDA syncing.



If you are looking for one of these for Programming of any Industrial Device, Then this is the One.



Be warned though, One of the Sellers I bought from CablesOnline right here on Amazon switched the Brand on me without warning me, and the brand they sent me did not work. So after you place your order send a message to the Seller Stating that you must have Startech Cables. Unless you are using them for PDA sync then buy anything.



Hope this Helps. StarTech USB to RS232 DB9 Serial Adapter Cable - M/M (ICUSB232)

This is a good solid adapter. I am using these in a manufacturing plant and they stand up to heat, humidity, and vibration. The pig tail is just the right length.



Installation - you must first download the driver package. The company website, StarTech, has the most current driver available there (their website is a bit strange to navigate, you have to enter the exact model number for this adapter to get to the driver download page). Install the driver package. Then plug in the adapter. It doesn't matter what OS you are using, follow those steps and you will have no problems getting this to work. The drivers are fine from Windows ME all the way up to Win 7. I am using this adapter on XP, 2000, and 7 (32 bit).



Remember that if you pull out the USB end of the adapter and plug it into a DIFFERENT USB port on your computer (or in a hub) the adapter WILL be assigned a new COM port. That seems counter-intuitive and can be the reason a device might work fine, but then mysteriously stop working the next time. Each USB port on your computer is a different hardware address, and Windows understands it to be a whole new device, so it assigns the adapter a new com port number.



The best way to troubleshoot the thing is to download a copy of Tera Terminal. It is a highly recommended program for Windows 7 (HyperTerminal is not included in Win7). Tera Terminal allows you to test the serial connection. After using both for a while now, Tera Term is a much better program and much easier to use than HyperTerminal. I will switch even for non Win7 computers.



There is another USB to Serial adapter, TRENDnet USB to Serial Converter TU-S9 (Blue) that uses exactly the same driver. In my estimation, they both use exactly the same chip inside the adapter. The StarTech adapter comes in older packaging, the USB cable is shorter around 4 inches, and it looks older school - kind of that old iMac Bondi Translucent Blue look. After my testing on both of these, you could use them interchangeably, shop based on price.

I bought this cable to update the firmware on my Harman Kardon AVR 254, as it one of the cables HK recommends. It works fine but with a little help. The screw-ins on the cable match the screw-ins for the AVR (both are female and stick out the height if the pins) and keep the plug from inserting, a bit of a dilemma until I used some pliers and pulled off the facing of the cable, thus exposing only the pins. I then (carefully) plugged it in and it worked great, updating my firmware. The drivers came included but are on a mini-CD, so if you have a slot loaded drive such as I have, then you need to download the software from [..]. All in all it did exactly what it needed to do after a little finagling with some pliers, just be careful not to damage the pins.

This device really works as a true UART compliant RS232 port. It really works on my hardware designs. It works in my Gateway laptop with Windows Vista with no problems. Also I use it to program many microcontrollers. I recommend it!

This cable is junk! The drivers worked on windows XP, and the computer recognized the cable. But the device that I plugged into the cable connects to the computer fitfully at best, and now it won't connect at all. I also know by testing that both the computer and the device are working properly. So the bottom line is this device doesn't work.

I bought this cable for use as an interface for a ham radio keyer. It interfaces perfectly between my Macintosh and the RS-232 controlled keyer.



I find no reason to suggest a more expensive or feature-laden cable. This one does the job. Very high value for money.

Purchased to update firmware on my Harman Kardon AVR254 and AVR354. This was recommended cable by HK so I purchased it. After down loading the drivers from StarTech cable and beginning update process on the receiver I received upload failed message. Tried multiple times using 3 different laptops. Two running XP and one Win7. Finally contacted customer support. After 40 minutes in chat session the support analyst stopped responding to any of my chat notes. Finally got frustrated and closed chat. Cable does not work and service is terrible, will not purchase StarTech cables in future.'

I am a finish contractor and I really find it nice when i can buy a quality product that will not damage either my tools or the project that I am working on. These nails feed thru my accuset brad nailer w/o any trouble at all and plan to switch over to them fulltime. B & C Eagle B18-2 2-Inch by 18 Gauge Galvanized Finish Brad Nail (5,000 per Box)

These are functional, but not very tough. They seem to be a little softer than some other brads I have used, which lets them deflect fairly easily at this long length. Therefore, keep your fingers out of range! They do hold well and are difficult to remove if you make a boo-boo.

I nail things. That's what I do. And these eagle B18-58's are the closest thing to nail-heaven that you could imagine. They are straight, sharp and can pretty much go through anything. I'm telling you, buy these nails, you won't be sorry.

I used these in a Senco brad nailer to install 3/4" cedar in a walk in closet as well as to install 2400 square feet of 3/4" pine v-groove in the ceiling of my dome home and they worked perfectly. Although I tried to avoid knots there were some situations where I had no choice but to go through them and the brads worked fine when using the turbo setting. I have a finish nailer and a pin nailer as well and B&C Eagle is the only brand I use because I know for a fact that when I use them there will not be any problems.

Some would think nails are nails...WRONG! Many manufacturers use cheap adhesive methods to connects their pins, nails, and staples. That causes jambs and then you get angry and think your tool is bad. Thats not always the case. I have used thousands of these nails and haven't had any jambs in any of my Porter Cable guns. It doesn't stop there, the value and ease of ordering helped in my decission, not only did I save money as compared to my local home center, but I also saved the hassle of the crowds and parking!!!

Amazing! After months of using the B & C Eagle B18-34 3/4 in. Brad Nail (5000-Pack), I finally discovered the B18-58 5/8 in. Brad Nail! And would you believe it, they're by the same company! Just as sharp, these nails provide a whole 1/8 in. more depth! I would reccomend these over the B18-34 3/4 in. Brad Nail without ANY hesitation! - Nails'

Ordered the wallet on Amazon and when I received it, I really loved everything about it. The feel, the two compartments for bills, stitching, and lining were all of excellent quality. But the when I folded it up, it was way too bulky! Even without any cash or cards in it, it is quite bulky. It's as thick as two and a half iPhones! I put it in my back pocket and it was uncomfortable for me. I looked around and found that most wallets are of the same thickness so can't blame Nautica.
