Sandwich Crust Cutters - cutter, sandwich

These cutters quickly turn the healthiest sandwiches into a fun treat with minimal waste. They are easy to use, cut very close to the crust, and press the bread together to seal the sandwich. I use them multi-grain wheat bread and all sorts of different 'fillers'. They work great no matter what type of sandwich is being made. Evriholder Set of 3 Sandwich Crust Cutters, DynoBytes/FlipperBytes/SweetBytes

These cutters cut very cute shape for my son's lunch. I have found the dinosaur one in our local grocery store, but have never seen the heart and dolphin one so that is why I ordered this set. I like that they are not sharp so I can keep them out in a bowl on the counter that I have all my lunch making accoutrement's in. They are the right size for bread so that you are not wasting bread. My son doesn't like the crusts, so these cut the crusts off but doesn't waste the bread.

I use these to make sandwiches for my daughter's bento boxes. I did however stumble across these today at Wal-mart in the cake mix and some other random grocery aisles. They hang on side with the items you usually ignore. I got the dinosaur and dolphin. They were only two dollars each!

My 6-year-old dino lover saw this (the green Dinosaur shaped one) at the grocery store and asked to have it. I was delighted that it actually works! We have found that larger square bread works best if you don't want any crust. It fits the thicker potato bread fine. I push it against a plate and sometimes need to flip it over and "seal" the cut by running my finger gently over the outlines. Doing so gives a clean cut and results in 2 very cute dinos that fit together in a lunch bag or sandwich box nicely. Very easy to use and easy to clean - we just put it in the top rack of the dishwasher. Sturdy plastic; I expect it will last indefinitely. Highly recommend by daughter and Mom!!

these are nice for making an ordinary pb&j a little more fun. All of the cutters are easy to use and clean. My only complaint would be that the heart cutter really requires very large slices of bread.

The sandwich cutters are awesome! They work great and don't smash the bread at all. My son loves the cute shapes that they make, and he eats the left-over crust too! I would definitely buy these again, and as a matter of fact, I need to look for more shapes!

These are adorable-- I bought them for my 4 year old and we ended up using them for her birthday party. The kids loved them and gobbled up all of the sandwiches because of the fun shapes. All the moms were asking where I got them. I use them all the time now for lunches, parties and just for fun. - Kitchen Utensils - Sandwich Crust Cutters - Cutter - Sandwich'

Relationships - relationships, ex

This book is charming. It is not well edited but thats some of the charm. It is a conversational cute tone which is not heavily sanitized by over-editing. It sounds like a friend is with you giving you all their sage wisdom on the phone. I think the best part of the book is that it just keeps going on and kind of gives you courage. I would recommend it to anyone contemplating a break up or in one or in the aftermath of one. The title is kind of horrible, but it gets your attention. It's kind of funny. I was reading it to a friend who is in a break up and we were having some good laughs at the common sense approach of the book and the title. It's a cute book. It is probably the best book on breaking up, just because it goes on and on and never stops with the common sense, which is what you need at a time like this. Watch Band Remover

I looked over all the options in the under $25 investment...

It is the most complete. I insisted on a box to keep everything neat

and orderly. Everything fits very tight in the foam, so some items are

tough to get in and out of their crevices. In time they will probably

cooperate better. Yes there are no instructures included; but there is

a beautiful card included in full color which tells where to get online

instructions. If you are a hobbyist I can's see how there is a better deal, especially if you take advantage of the supersaver shipping available

for this. PS: You really need most all of this stuff to do ANY useful work

on a watch band- hammer, pin press, jewelers screwdriver, case lifter knife... You'll be stuck if you don't have all the tools at hand.

I gave it 5 stars because for the money I think the quality is worth it.

Is it craftsman quality? No but it should last for its intended purpose.

10/0/09

If you don't get a card w/ the instructions, the site is [...].

I'm mechanically inclined so I figured out most of the tools I needed to use.

I've already resized several watch bands and replaced a half dozen batteries.

Its true the tools fit really tightly in the foam but I still like it. If I get annoyed I'll open the holes up a bit with a razor. SE 19 PCS Watch Tool Kit

Good:

1) It has tools for:

i) Adjusting your metal watch strap. (which I found VERY useful)

ii) Replacing the pin on your metal or leather watch strap.

iii) Unscrewing the tiny screws that might be securing your watch battery to its movement.

2) It comes in a case and that's VERY useful in keeping all the tiny parts together.

3) It comes with a whole set of watch strap pins...which I found very useful.

4) The little loupe is very good, surprisingly good magnification.

Cons:

1) For adjusting your metal bracelet it has a blue plastic tool. This tool has metal pin. This metal pin works great for most brands like Citizen etc...but I found them not long enough for Tag and Omega.

2) It comes with a rudimentary two prong case wrench and that is pretty useless. Invest in a Jaxa type three prong wrench which is also sold on Amazon if you have many of those types of cases.

3) The case and liner could have been better.

4) The little knife thing used to pry open watch cases is pretty wimpy, its already bent from one use.

I like this kit for the price. It has all the tools that I need and now I won't have to keep breaking other tools that aren't meant for watches. I already used the link remover and it was EASY. There's enough lugs to last a lifetime and the case is a nice touch to keep it organized. Looks like everyone will be getting watches for presents this year!

The kit is nicely packaged, exactly like the photo. My problem has been understanding how to do anything with the tools, including what most of these tools do. There are no instructions in the kit, just an URL to a website that has a couple of sketches of how to take a back off, several of the sketches refer to tools not even in this kit. Other than that you're on your own. I'd say 80% of the tools in this kit I still don't have any idea how to use. The case wrench (finally figured that one out) is decent but not big enough for my dive watch, which is quite large. And there is no case press in the kit, which I think is essential: You get the backs off and figure out what batteries are needed; but how do you get the backs on again (if they're "snap backs") without a press? I used a C-clamp from my workbench but that's dangerous. So now I'm looking for a case press.

The case and foam case liner are of a very low quality. The tools are a little better.

The internal foam liner did not have the correct cut-outs to allow the tools to fit snugly. Some of the tools were in pieces and had to be reassembled. I've used a few of the tools and they didn't break, however they both look & feel a little cheap.

If I could do it over, I'd buy the kit without the case and save a few bucks or I'd buy better quality tools separately rather than in kit form.

You get what you pay for. Not very good quality but it will get the job done. I bent every little punch that I used but they were good enough quality to be bent back into shape without breaking. The watch band "sizer" seems too flimsy and the handle cover kept falling off under pressure but it did work. Nice case to hold all the little parts (probably my favorite part). Lacks a good needle nose pliers for pulling pins all the way out. Less expensive than taking it to a jeweler or store to have your watch fixed or watch band sized.

This is a great kit and will save you a lot of money on watch repairs. There are no instructions, but it is pretty easy to figure out what the tools are for and how to use them. I removed links from my Bulova watch, changed batteries in 9 watches, and changed watch bands on 4 watches. It saves lots of time and money from going to a jeweler to have such simple things done. It has more than paid for itself. I recommend this product if you have a lot of watches like we do.

Great value for the price. So far, I've swapped bands, removed links from a metal bracelet, and changed a battery. For the most part, I didn't have any trouble.

Pros:

There are easily $20 worth of replacement pins in this set.

The case is solid and everything fits snugly.

Replacement tips for the tools are a plus/necessity (see below)

Cons:

Mine came without the card with a link to online instructions.

The site that was recommended in some of the other reviews has some basic information but isn't tailored toward this set. There's no description of how to use some of the tools.

I snapped the tips off of the spring bar tool on the first shot (it was a particularly tricky metal bracelet). Luckily there's a replacement tip.

Given how much money I saved on a replacement band on Amazon over my local shop, combined with what they'd charge to change or adjust a band, this was a solid investment. It's paid for itself already.'

Noise Canceling Headphones - around the ear, headphones

These are the first headphones that I have bought that have broken the $100 barrier. I have always had quality stereo equipment and speakers so quality sound reproduction if very important for me. These headphones are very balanced and I like balance. I don't like headphones that are too heavy on bass even though these produce very tight accurate bass when pushed. These earphones sound great with all kinds of music. I have played metal, jazz, classical, blues, classic rock and contemporary rock through them and they always sounded great. Jazz sounds particularly good. They're crystal clear and you'll notice things you've never heard come through on these. I should also say that they are very confortable and can be used for hours at a time. Like any other set of around ear headphones, they will eventually warm up your ears. This is to be expected though. Bose®AE2 audio headphones

I previously owned the Bose Triport (Around Ear) headphones for $150 and they lasted me a good five years with heavy use. I needed repairs on one of the ear cushions and Bose Customer Service on the phone offered me the AE2 to upgrade at a very significant discount for the trade-in. (I paid $65.00) I went ahead and bought these hoping the features would be just as good. (I loved my Triport headphones)

For the AE2:

-They are very comfortable and in fact, because of the swiveling earpieces which is a new feature on this model, I think they are much more comfortable than the already-comfortable previous over-ear version.

-These headphones are extremely lightweight. I sometimes forget that I have them on. I am very impressed.

-The cord on this version is only on one side (the left side) instead of leading out of each ear cup. This was a very nice feature and improvement that I appreciate.

-The sound quality is wonderful and was just what I expected out of these headphones.

As for durability, I can see these lasting me another five years with near every-day use, but some people in reviews of the previous model said they had issues. I guess it is subjective to how much care you give to the item, but overall, if you're not rough with them, hopefully they will do well for you as they have for me.

**While these are new on the market, if you have a previous style such as the Around-Ear / Triport like I had, try calling Bose customer service to get the discount on the trade-in upgrade instead of a repair like I did. I was amazed to get such a discount and knew it would be worth it from the start. I love these headphones!

Sound:

The sound on these headphones is excellent. The vocals are crisp, as well as the instrumental. I would recommend this if you enjoy rock, jazz, classical, reggae. The bass however is not a focal point of the sound, as they are very balanced headphones, so rap music/ dance hall isn't what these are intended for.

Comfort:

The headphones are lite and the ear covers fit easily over my ears. I have no complaints about the comfort, they move very flexibly.

Build Quality:

because they are so light it is hard to judge build quality of these headphones. But I feel very comfortable with them and they don't seem like they are going to break at all. They do a very good job of stopping noise, even without noise cancellation technology.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I wish the price was more like $125, but they are good

They are similar to the over-the-ear headphones that Bose previously produced. They are basically a newer, better version. As always, the sound quality is excellent, crisp, and the bass is more than sufficient. Comfort is one of the best features as always. They are lightweight, flexible, with the memory-foam like cushioning. Absolutely incredible. Would highly recommend. Bose never fails to impress.

My background: Let me start by saying I am not a professional sound engineer, but what I am is a person who owns several sets of over-the-ear headphones that I've accumulated over the years - seeking the best sound I can find without dropping tons of cash (which, for me, means I've been shopping in the $100 to $200 range).

Facts: If you're looking for response over frequency graphs for the AE2s, PCMag has them there[...]

Facts note: I am bewildered by the negative reviews and comments after listening to, and seeing the data. I don't understand the reviewers that say these headphones don't have high and low frequency response, because the data shows quite the opposite (actually the bass is slightly exaggerated - which might turn some people off).

Opinion summary: Compared to my Sony MD-6s and my Numarks (which I had handy), the AE2s are crisper and have stronger bass (this makes a lot of since when you see the plotted response over frequency graphs). Put simply, the AE2s are not as flat sounding as other headphones. These are much lighter weight, and very comfortable (which is ultimately the reason I bought them). Said, yet another way, I would describe the AE2s are "fun and light" - clearly made for today's digital devices and laptops.

Opinion - Pros:

- Crisp sound and excellent bass.

- Light weight.

- Comfortable ear-cups.

Opinion - Cons:

- The part of the headband that rests on the top of the head is a tad too thin in my opinion - it should be about .125" wider.

- The headband does squeeze a little harder than I would like (I only notice this after hours of continuous wear).

Thanks for reading.

First off, I would like to commend Bose for its spectacular one-year limited warranty. I received these new AE2's after my old Bose Around Ear's (version 1) headphone jack ripped and stopped producing sound in the right earpiece. The process was easy; I called customer and explained the situation, emailed the receipt and mailed back the old product. I received these one week later.

I will begin with the sound quality of the headphones because it is one of the main reasons why I gave these four stars. Some people complained about not enough bass, and I agree with them. The bass is hollower than what you would expect from $150 headphones. Cranking up the volume helps, but you can tell the bass lacks the "oomph" and will do injustice to certain songs. Despite this, overall, these headphones produce accurate sounds for basically all types of music at all volumes. Casual music listeners should not be disappointed by the sound quality, even though Bose traditionally falls behind Sennheiser in this department for similarly-priced headphones.

For me, the physical aspects of this version 2 around-ear headphones are major pluses after using the first iteration. The best change, though negligible to many people, is that the headphones do not squeeze your head as tightly anymore. I wear glasses, so this was a major gripe. The problem is still there just like for all around-ear headphones, but it is more tolerable. The new fold-flat design is great for stowing and extra flexibility. There is now only one wire attached to the left earpiece, and the wire is detachable and replaceable for a very low price. The headphone jack that ripped on my old pair is now reinforced. Everything feels more durable yet these headphones are very light.

The headphones are NOT marketed as noise-canceling, but they do block out significant amounts of outside noise. The headphones are narrower and do not stick out as much, which in my opinion looks much better because it does not look like you have cans jutting from the sides of your head. HOWEVER, if your ears stick out more than others', you should be aware that they may come into contact with the inside of the headphones and cause unwanted irritation.

To be honest, I would have hesitated to buy these if I had to fork out $150 for another pair of Bose headphones considering the competition in the market. Also, only the headphones, the wire, and a cloth pouch are included. My old Bose around-ears also came with an extension cable and an adapter for other audio equipment (which I never used but I would imagine others might want this).

I am certainly satisfied with these headphones because they are much better than the ones they replaced. From a consumer's perspective, these headphones are great for casual users looking for above average sounding headphones that are comfortable, sleek-looking, and durable. Price is an issue for basically everyone, so I encourage you to shop around and to try out these headphones before purchasing. Once again, Bose's one-year limited warranty is in a class of its own, and people who plan on carrying around and using these headphones frequently should certainly keep this in mind. - Around The Ear - Bose - Headphones - Earphones'

Pc Vga To Tv Converter

This is an ok video converter, but if you're looking to play video on your TV and have it look the same as it would on your computer, you'd probably be better off getting a nice video card with a TV-OUT port.(or just moving your monitor into the living room) The recommended use on the Startech website is presentations, which it would excel in if you have a large television. The problem with playing video on your PC to your TV it is that the picture 'folds' over itself every once in a while, like a flipbook with a couple pages missing every once in a while. The length of the cords that they include also remind me that I bought this thing for all the wrong reasons. Your television must only be six feet away from your computer(which is not true in the average home). The remote included is tiny(about the size of a letter opener) and the buttons are not easy to press. And believe me, you'll need the remote: every time you plug it in you need to adjust the V and H positions and stretches. Also it is a weak infrared remote, meaning you must practically be 5 feet away for it to give a signal. And forget about putting sound through, it's only for video. Also, when you hook your monitor up through the monitor port on this thing, it gives out a very degraded signal that makes your monitor look like it has a thin layer of fog and bars in front of it. But for the price its ok: it gives out crisp, full color conversions on your television and the fact that you need no software is a huge plus. StarTech.com VGA2NTSCPRO VGA PC to TV Video Converter with Remote Control

This converter is definitely not for playing video games. But it does a great job of converting video from your computer (I use my laptop) to the tv. I have it connected to a 42" and it looks great. Just watched a tv show from Hulu and it was great.

This unit is great if you don't want to add a card to your pc. I use it mainly for video from internet to a 32" TV. The picture is very sharp and clear. The size adjustments work very well. If your looking for very high resolution you may want to spend more mony on a pc upgrade or video card.

I just ordered this and tried it out using my laptop and large screen projection TV in my subdivision clubhouse. It is the perfect solution to conducting training and powerpoint presentations without the need for an expensive PC projector. Easy setup and operation. Only complaint is the short monitor cable and composite cable. I highly recommend this product.

Definitely a decent product. It did what we needed it to do. Be careful, though, this won't magically convert your computer image to a high-def image appropriate for a large screen showing. You'll, for the most part, get your computer image at its native resolution up on a screen or tv. In that regard, it works quite good.

I found it fairly easy to set up despite the instructions being pretty light. The few buttons aren't readily obvous as whether they should be 'in' or 'out' for your application. The connections ARE obvious. Hook it up, plug it in and it should work. The build quality is a bit light but not bad. The remote works and is fairly useful. I liked the zoom features and the screen adjustment features on the remote. They were quite useful.

For the price, I found it to be a decent buy.

My unit -- I've discovered too late -- has an internal ground circuit problem. It puts intermittent bands on any pass-through VGA and on the converted RCA composite output. The "dirty" output is so bad, I'll have to replace this. I'm stunned Startech would release such a cheaply-made product. Very disappointed. Wish I could send it back for a refund.

I bought this after initially buying one of the $29.00 ones and being horrified by the picture reproduction. This so called high definition converter is absolutely no improvement over the cheap one it might be even worse. The picture is horribly blurry so even ordinary size print is unreadable. The color reproduction is horrrendously poor a blue backround from your computer monitor is tourquise on the tv. The menu display dissapears if you do not use one of the function within A FEW SECONDS then you have to start over. EXCEEDINGLY ANNOYING. I could not get a signal from the s-video I didn't bother to see if the problem was a defective cable that came with it. If you wan't to get one of these converters get a cheap one for Pete's sake don't waste your money on this one. If you have a PC a video card with s-video out is the way to go. I don't know what the solution is for a laptop.

The StarTech PC/VGA to TV converter performs as advertised! The learning curve is not bad and takes someone with an understanding of electronics this is definitely not a device I would advise a NOVICE with no back ground in using moderate to complex connects and settings to purchase. That said I was very happy with the conversion process it very accurately converted PowerPoint files, flash player files and others extremely well.'
