Bluetooth Car Adapter - car stereo, dual

I have to admit, I'm a big fan of Bluetooth. Since Apple's iPhone firmware 3.0 announced A2DP support (stereo Bluetooth), I've bought 3 different pairs of Bluetooth headphones, and this, the BTM60 for my Dual XHD6425. This is probably my least favorite of the bunch.

Installation was a breeze. You plug it in to the back of the unit, then run the wire behind the dash, making sure the microphone is clipped to the visor. Pairing was also pretty simple. You hold the "phone" button down on the dash unit for a couple seconds, enter the password "1234" on the handheld device (my iPhone), and you're set.

Then I started finding some little annoying things they didn't bother to include. You can't change the EQ presets in Bluetooth mode; you can change bass and treble, and "loud", but not the "rock", "dance", "pop", etc. You also cannot display the clock while it's in Bluetooth mode; it shows "AV MODE" while it's connected, and when you play music, "AV STREAM". Why?? I know it's supposed to support AVRCP (Audio-Video Remote Control Profile) which allows you to play/pause, fast-forward, rewind, skip tracks, etc., but I am only able to play/pause. Not that big a deal, and I actually think this is a problem with the iPhone, not the BTM60. And the sound quality of the music, I have to admit is terrific. After shutting the car off, the iPhone doesn't realize the connection is lost for about ~15 seconds and continues to "play" with no audio. I usually hit pause on the dash before shutting the engine off, just so I don't lose my place in the song.

The call quality, I think, is pretty poor. I have to turn the volume WAY up to hear people through the speakers, and practically yell for anyone to hear me. Granted, there is a fair amount of road noise in my car, but I thought this was able to cancel it out. It's certainly not the location of the microphone; it's almost directly in front of my mouth. I don't make a lot of calls from my car though, so this is not such a big deal for me. I bought it mainly to stream music. An incoming call seamlessly fades out and pauses your music and sounds the ringer (an escalating series of tones). When the call is done, it automatically unpauses and fades in your music.

All in all, it's about what I was expecting, and my complaints are minor but numerous. It's still a huge step up from my FM transmitter with the factory stereo. I never even have to take the iPhone out of my pocket. Just wait for it to connect (~30 seconds after starting the car), and hit play on the dash. Dual Btm60 Bluetooth Interface Module

This product does work good but... you must have the product installed on your visor. I have mine installed above my radio so that I didn't have to run wires all over the place and now I have to practically yell so that the microphone wil pick up my voice. If the microphone was directly above me I would not have that problem.

I'm very impressed with the clarity of the BTM60. It's very easy to install and setup. I have a Moto RAZR and my wife has a Nokia 6133 and I didn't have any problems pairing either of them. I have it setup to auto connect and it has worked every time with both phones.

According to the people that I've talked to, my voice is crystal clear and sounds much better than the Moto H500 Bluetooth headset that I was using.

I highly recommend the BTM60 to anyone that has a compatible Dual head unit.

It does almost everything except one of the most important things as an auto Bluetooth device for the car: dialing out while driving. No body in their right mind will dial out by pressing the tiny buttons on the head unit, nor should they dial out on their phone. Pretty much all phones support some kind of voice dial nowadays and pretty much all headsets do voice dial as their normal function. Well the BTM60 doesn't. My Samsung BlackJack II uses Windows Mobile 6's built-in Voice command to dial. My 3 headsets will initiate voice dial by pressing a button on the headset. For the BTM60 to do voice dial, you have to get out your phone, press a button on the phone, then speak to the BTM60 to do voice dial. This really defeats an important purpose of having a Bluetooth unit in the first place. So BTM60 is not totally a hands-free device.

Installed in Geo Metro Convertible about a month ago. Noise cancelling microphone OUTSTANDING. Can go 70 MPH on worn concrete freeway (roaring sound in passenger compartment) and in spite of all the noise around me I can carry on a conversation over cell phone hands free with person on other end NOT hearing the extra noise. Caller I.D. phone number (not name) appears on radio face when receiving call, redial works as advertized, no volume difference issues between radio and phone for me. I could not be happier with this setup! My LG VX9900 cell phone has a 2GIG memory card with music that also sincs with Btm60 no problem. When I get in the car, the phone automatically sincs with the Btm60 so I don't have to think about it, and when the stereo goes quiet to receive a call, my momentary wonderment (is there a problem?) is replaced by happiness not having to pull my phone out of my pocket, hold it up to my ear and deal with the distraction. I just push the button on the module (or auto answer is available), and start talking. Considering hands free devices used to be $200 and more, I'd say the Btm60 is a bargain for $46.

I bought this for use with my Dual XHD-6425 CD Receiver. Took me about 5 minutes to install, despite the ridiculously insufficient manual, which basically said "You've got this, now look at your head unit instructions" which aren't real great either. I powered it up, paired it with my phone, & tried a call. I got a beep from the speakers when I first hit the speed dial button, and that was all, no more sound, just a display reading "AV MODE". I talked to Dual's Tech support, but they've no idea why this would be displayed. BTW, you have the option of the visor mount or Velcro-ing it somewhere. The Velcro pad adhesive is terrible. I could have hung a loogie & gotten better adhesion. - Dual - Car Stereo - Audio - Bluetooth'

Reversible - belt, black belt

This belt is of high quality leather and is just what I was looking for as a gift for my husband. Only one problem - too small. He wears a 36" waist pant. He typically wears a 38" belt but this one was too small. I'd order another size up for it to be comfortable. But the quality and style can't be beat for the price! Most belts of this quality are over $40 in department stores. Dockers Men's 35mm Feather Edge Belt, Brown,36

This is a good belt, made of quality materials. The buckle is solid, and the buckle attachment is the traditional folded over leather and stitched technique (unlike some more cheaply made belts where they think a screw buckle attachement is adequate).

Too small, my waist size is 34-35 and listing said to order one size larger. I ordered 38 and it was too small. I recommend going 2 sizes over your waist size. Other than that the belt is OK. It's pretty stiff, but it would probably soften up a bit over time.

Not much to say. The picture is accurate. The belt appears to be of good quality. I've only had it a month but it holding up well. As others have said, do order a size (or two) larger than you would normally order. At one size up the buckle goes in the 3rd hole.

George

Good belt for Khaki's - I wear 2-4 times each week and it's holding up well. My waist is a size 42, and I take a 42" pants, but based upon other's comments I ordered one size larger. The 44" fits my 42" wait perfectly, using the "middle" loop hole. - Belts - Belt - Black Belt - Reversible'

Kit Cat Clock - kit cat clock, felix

If you want a clock that is difficult if not impossible to see from across the room, or one that has a tail that should swing but doesn't, or one that is made of such thin plastic you fear it breaking when changing the batteries...then this is the clock for you. On the plus side, the few times that I actually got close enough to see the hands on the clock, the time was accurate. It may look like the kit kat clock of your youth, but it is a piece of over priced junk. Kit-Cat Wall Clock, Black

Even though I did not buy this at Amazon after reading the numerous reviews I felt compelled to write to let people know the clock needs to be slightly angled forward, to strike the right balance, for the eyes and tail to move. I have had my KIt Cat Clock at least 15 years with no operational problems. But, there is a trick to keep the eyes and tail moving. I have it hung on a nail with a small head and the head of the cat is angled slightly forward with the bottom / paws against the wall. You need to move the cat's head forward ever so slightly outwards from the nail and give the tail a slight tap and it should wag with no problem. You may need to experiment, gently, to get the right angle and balance but once correctly positioned the eyes and tail will move until the batteries need to be changed.

the purchase of this clock has made checking the time a treat. while it seemed a bit on the cheap or flimsy side when I removed it from the box, the instructions, which are well-written, allowed easy assemblage. [the parts that control movement of the eyes seemed particularly flimsy; I am on the clumsy side, so I was sure to handle the clock gently.]

I installed the batteries, put the back on the cat, and waited. nothing. so I took the back off, put it on again, and when I hung it this time, it worked like a charm. the eyes move back and forth and the tail waves gently, just as it should. there is also no loud 'ticking' sound from the clock: it runs quietly, with a soothing, 'old fashioned' ticking sound, which is nice; I am a light sleeper. and it is such a darling, sweet bit of Americana. I am really VERY pleased with my purchase. keeps great time, and though I don't anticipate any problems, there are instructions and advice on what to do if the clock malfunctions. if you are on the fence about this purchase, I'd say: buy it. it's a great, darling clock!!

I have had a Kit-Cat clock for about 10 years and it never fails to bring pleasure, and positive comments. Very reliable clock with Alkaline batteries. Must be level, otherwise, is cantankerous. Runs about 9+ months on one pair of C's before tail stops wagging. Cannot imagine the kitchen without my old friend now. I have owned two Kit-Cats and given a third as a gift. Great buy. Great clock.

I LOVE this clock, so I was severely disappointed when it arrived and didn't work! The animation refused to function, no matter what I did (even going through the substantial list of recommended tweaks the company offered me after I complained). Worse, it stopped keeping time after about 12 hours. I replaced the batteries twice with brand new ones, and continued to have the problem. Customer service told me that they *do not do refunds* but would replace my clock with a new one if I shipped the defective one back to them. I had to pay for shipping (again) and insurance, but they had a fast turnaround time and shipped me a new clock quickly.

This one, the second, is fabulous! The eyes and tail have been going for over 8 hours, when the last clock would only move for about 8 seconds. The time seems accurate, too. I hope that it continues to work, because it makes me smile and I love having it in my kitchen. :)

Pros: looks just like the original Kit Kat Klock I remember from childhood, continuous animation (when clock is not defective), super cute, accurate time, customer service was quick to respond

Cons: expensive, scarily thin plastic components, no refunds from company, no way to tell if your clock is defective upon arrival and it can be very frustrating trying to get it to work, have to pay shipping twice if exchanged

This is a wonderful product, and great for all ages. My husband bought it for me for Valentines day after I told him I had wanted one since I was a child. It was a reproduction, but it still works wonderfully. I've had no problems with mine at all! - Wagging Tail - Wall Clocks - Felix - Kit Cat Clock'

Multidapt - multidapt

I have only purchased Krusell products from Sweden since they offer a ligetime warranty and yes I am proof of this fact. When the case or clip would break, they immediately issued a replacement. As an owner of a RAZR cell phone, I have been using this spring clip for a long time. Krusell Multidapt Spring Clip, Black

This would be a great clip, if only the spring was stronger and or a bigger undercut on the underside of the clip. On more than one occassion my phone has come off my belt when I brush against something or stoop down. I have a rather large smart phone (HTC Inspire), so would probably work better on a smaller phone.

Used it for a custom audio box that clips on to my belt. Just note that the back of it it curved inward so it might not work for all custom solutions. Made for a very professional looking final product. - Multidapt'

Dewalt

I hang drywall for a living and have accustomed myself to using the Rotozip for cutting out outlets, vents, etc. and got used to its lack of power and durability; until last week. I purchased the new DeWalt Cut-out tool and can't believe the difference in power and comfort. DeWalt really did their homework on this one. It also has a tool-free bit change which is awesome. It makes changing bits quicker and easier and I never have to have a wrench around. Drop whatever you're using and get the DeWalt. DEWALT DW660 Cut-Out 5 Amp 30,000 RPM Rotary Tool with 1/8-Inch and 1/4-Inch Collets

The rotozip revolution is a lot of hype and not well constructed. I returned it for the DW660. This is a powerful and smooth tool in comparison. I think this is one of the better DeWalt products that I own. Hold on because it can take off due to the power(not a complaint). I wish the base was a little better constructed for use in cutting wood and plastic. There is no circle guide either, otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A ROTO-ZIP AS AN AID FOR INSTALLING WALL TILE. AFTER A 1/4 INCH CUT INTO WHAT I THOUGHT WAS WALL TILE THE CARBIDE BIT BROKE. I WAS NOT VERY IMPRESSED. ALSO THE OVERALL FEEL, QUALITY AND POWER DISAPPOINTED. I RETURNED THE TOOL. I THEN ORDERED THE DEWALT CUT-OUT TOOL. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY, FEEL AND POWER OF THIS TOOL. AGAIN I TRIED THE TILE CUT, BUT WITHOUT MUCH SUCCESS. I WAS ABLE TO CUT THE TILE BUT SO SLOWLY IT WASN'T WORTH THE BOTHER. THEN I TRIED ANOTHER PIECE OF TILE THAT WAS MARKED WALL TILE. I WAS AMAZED AT THE DIFFERENCE. I WAS ABLE TO CUT HOLES FOR PIPES IN NOTHING FLAT. CONTROL WAS EXCELLENT AND THERE WAS VERY LITTLE CHIPPING AROUND THE CUT WHICH COULD BE MINIMIZED EVEN MORE BY SLOWING DOWN THE RATE OF FEED. I ALSO TRIED THE TOOL IN WOOD, DRYWALL AND MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, STEEL. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE SOME VERY NICE CUTS IN 1/8" WALL SQUARE STEEL TUBING. ACTUALLY I AM MORE PLEASED WITH THIS DEWALT TOOL THAN MOST OF THE OTHER DEWALT TOOLS I OWN. MY ONLY RECOMMENDATION TO OTHER PURCHASERS IS THAT IF YOU INTEND TO USE THIS TOOL FOR CERAMIC TILE, MAKE SURE THE TILE IS REALLY WALL TILE.

I purchased this with full intent of putting it in, through, and around almost every material imaginable. It powered through my drywall installations with ease, and accuracy ( my keyhole saw hasn't been very dusty lately). But hold on to it, because it can get away from you. Yet, needless to say I would rather have this "issue" than having it be underpowered. This tool has great balance, bit changes sans tool(s) is very convenient and one less thing for me to lose on the job. The depth gauge adjustment is easy to get to and simple. The bump off switch is a nice, it didn't seem like an overly important detail at the time of purchase, but the time you fire it up, do your business, and shut it down, its a very handy. The reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have yet to put any cement backers, or tile under it. I really feel that if I run into any problems it will be with the bits and not the machine. Its made my life, and my work more efficient and better.

Things I like about this unit*Lots of power*easy bump off switch. Really good safety feature. This unit is easy to turn off, and the turn on button is recessed so that it wont go on accidentally. I wonder why all routers aren't this way. You won't have to worry about this one suddenly turning on if you drop it.*Unit does not blow the dust straight into your eyes like some routers do.*Keyless chuck. Makes changing bits easy and fast. I think other router companies are going to follow suit. The selling point that caused me to buy this unit was the enclosed dust protected engine. The unit is still fairly new so I won't be able to say how good that works for awhile. This is easily the best router I have ever used. DeWalt has raised the bar, and I think that all other manufacturers will be following suit shortly.

Fantastic cutout saw! Easier to hold than the Porter Cable and I like the on/off buttons better than the PC. While cutting out large segments of drywall (like doors and windows), the PC you have to leave running if your hands are full (of cut off drywall etc.) or manipulate your grip down towards the bit while it's running to shut off the tool. The DeWalt is much easier to just "bump" the top (furthest from the spinning bit) against your chin to shut off the tool. Maybe not the recommended method but it works great when your hands are full. No problems with the tool whatsoever. Just wish the bits cut faster (same with all the cutout tools). Not having to use/find or lose an allen wrench is a definite advantage although the two buttons used to loosen/tighten the collet take a little getting used to. Having a case to hold the tool and spare bits is also nice. Excellent tool that I'm still using and enjoying very much. Would buy it again!

The superiority of this outstanding DeWalt cut-out tolls forced the present manufacturers to redisign thier models. All rotory tools made after, have based thier disign after the DW660 .It is the OLNY toolless bit changable model avbailabvle .The Porter cable is made with too big of a head and the on/off switch is not convientient.THIS IS truly THE BEST !!! A real drywallers dream .I should know because I was hanging when you had to make all cuts with keyhole saws &/OR the only available router was a Black N Decker that clearly stated in the warrannty that it was not designed for drywall and would void the warranty ..Shure am thankful for Dewalts intelligence...

Finally Dewalt makes a much needed drywall cut-out tool.I recomend purchasing the Porter Cable 3/16" bit to use with it.The Roto-Zip comparison is not being backed by the manufacturer. This tool will get into tight spaces that the Porter Cable cut-out tool can not.It also has more power and is easier to view where you are cutting.I would highly recomend it to any profesional drywall crew.'

I ordered this along with my Garmin nuvi 765t and it never worked.

Thankfully, Amazon did it's usual superb job of replacing it with just a few mouse clicks.

When the replacement arrived it was of a much simpler design and worked just fine.

Detail:

The original version I got had a slot in the back of the plug-in unit into which various plugs could be inserted to adapt it for the appropriate country/voltage/etc. My guess is that the connection between the adapter and the unit were not good and so it just didn't work.

The replacement unit which I received was made with the North American prongs already built in and no adapter was necessary for use here. The unit was packaged with adapters for UK and European use if needed. The just plug onto the NA prongs.

If you order this, see if you can determine which type will be sent to you or if you get the older-style version try to exchange it. Garmin AC Charger with International Adapters for nüvi

I was happy with this product, the shipping time was quick and the price was great! When I searched for this product in several different stores, it was never available and if I wanted any of the stores to order it in for me, the price was much higher than what I paid for it on Amazon.

The back of the packaging lists: StreetPilot i5, i3, i2, nuvi 680, 670, 610, 370, 360, 310, 270, 260, 250, 200, 250W, 200W. Only by checking the Garmin website for the nuvi 750, and in particular the item number 10-10723-00, was I sure that the AC charger I received was in fact for the nuvi 750. It was a little confusing.

The charger is convenient since I use my Nuvi 650 most frequently as a pedestrian. Who wants to have to get it in and out of the car or keep the computer on for charging? So it is worth the price for me. Product quality is excellent - what can go wrong with a charger? It should have been included with the original purchase along with a carry strap and case since Garmin promotes the Nuvi for handheld use.

Very happy with this product. I charge my Garmin 260w at home and pretty much use it all day without having to hook up the auto power cable.Garmin A/C Power Cable for nüvi Portable GPS Navigators (010-10723-00)

Works fine, allow my Nuvi 760 to be used while charging, instead of going into USB mode.

One thing I have learned by chance is that when you use a standard USB cable to connect to a computer, you can get it to go into non-USB mode like the charger, but it's not always straightforward. I've done it by disconnecting, then reconnecting the cable after a few seconds - I guess it gets confused. - Charger - Power Cord - Garmin Accessories - Garmin Nuvi'

Movado Mens Watch

This for me is a beautiful watch. The body and bracelet is made from Tungsten Carbide - one of the hardest substances known and used for the cutting faces of machine tools. So its hard! It wont scratch in a hurry -though be warned it may scratch other things. The TC is a bit darker than stainless steel - think polished gun metal - so its very distinctive. The black interior links in the bracelet are covered in a very dark hard matt rubber. The face is classic Movado - plain and elegant. This is a watch that looks as good with a suit as it does with jeans. I bought this watch from the UK (Movado is virtually unknown in UK) and even with import duty and VAT etc it was almost half price compared to the sole UK dealer (Harrods!) However you do NOT get a manufacturers warranty. Amazon provide quite a limited warranty that covers the movement only. This is a big issue and something Amazon should be more explicit about on the site. For me I am still delighted as my watch is fine and half price. If I had a problem and Amazon were still selling at this price (and ex rate was stable!) I could buy a replacement watch and almost still be no worse off than a UK purchase...but thats for me and remember Movado is rare in UK. For others you need to weigh up the saving v the warranty (oh and remember you will have to pay a jeweller to adjust the bracelet upon receipt). Love my watch though and excellent service direct from Amazon.com Movado Men's 605850 Fiero Tungsten Carbide Watch

i got this watch for Christmas Gift.

and this is just really beautiful watch.

i had movado vizio before but now when i got Fiero

i couldn't compare this with vizio.

vizio was really nice piece but the Fiero is really beautiful and elegance.

it's a piece of art i say!

also very shinny with Tungsten material.

i'm very impressive with tungsten first time.

this is totally different with stainless or titanium.

i just got this watch so i have to keep watching how it will change.

i'll update if i found any other issue with this watch.

but for now, i'm really satisfied with my watch.

Happy New Year All ~

I have owned this watch for about a year and a half now and I still can't find any other watches on the market that would match this. While being very classy and simple, your wrist will never go unnoticed. Almost every time I wear this watch I get asked by someone who makes it and where I bought it from.'
