Our son's Acer netbook had stopped charging or receiving any power and with the help of a computer savvy friend we determined that the charger had died. I ordered this one for only 6.98 and got it two days later (a day earlier than promised!)
It plugged right into the connection in the netbook and the charge light lit up when we plugged it into the outlet. We just received it today, so I can't say anything about longevity, but I'm expecting that it will work like its supposed to for the rest of the life of the netbook.
