I bought 2 pairs of these for a trip to the Philippines where I would be in rural areas as well as spend a couple of days in metro areas. I have to say these are very well made. I was very skeptical as the pants themselves are very thin. They were very good for the 90 degree plus days, and proved to be very easy to maintain. As advertised you can wash them in the sink and they are ready to go in the morning. Even walking through brush the pants did not rip nor show any signs of wear during my 4 week stay. Also they are also water resistant. The only con is that they are very pricey but are worth the price.
