I keep this to sharpen my granfors bruks axe or my condor machete in the field. It is a light weight easy to pack solution for keeping your gear sharp in the field. It is also very useful when sharpening anything with a curve in it that you cant get to with a regular sharpening stone. If you have chopping or slashing tool that you want to be able to touch up in the feild this is what you need. Works quick, not to big for a tool box or pack, and you don't mees up the tapper of the blade like with a fixed angle sharpener.
The Lansky puck arrived very quickly and had The Puck in it. The stone has course and medium grit stones which got my Cold Steel Kurki Machetes pretty sharp.
