Mechanical Colored Pencils - contradiction, uncertain

I am having a love affair with this pencil. I can't work without it. I like how FAT it is. It feels good in your hand. You can be really aggressive with your writing using this chubby writer, unlike regular frail mechanical pencils which don't empower you with their heft!! Battery Backup - battery backup, easyshare

I bought this battery for my Kodak EasyShare DX7440 digital camera. It cost me thirty dollars, which is a great price for a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 1700 mAh.

I am very satisfied with this battery - it lasts for a long time and it's sold for a very reasonable price.

The battery supplied with the DX7440 is a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1050 mAh, and I think it's always good to have an extra battery just in case. Kodak KLIC-5001 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Digital Camera Battery for Z730, Z760, Z7590, DX6490, DX7630, DX7440, P850, P880 and P712 Digital Cameras

This is the battery that came with my DX6490. I bought the camera exactly 3 years ago. It still is using the battery that came with it. I have taken 1000's of pictures, and leave my camera on the dock when not in use. I've also NEVER run out of battery charge when taking pictures. That's why I don't understand why Consumer Report rates the DX6490 as one of the lowest zoom range cameras for battery life. Others I know, with different cameras than mine, are always running out of battery charge, and I take way more pictures than they do.

A good battery from Kodak! One charge sees you through a reasonably long time. That it is Li-ion helps since these type of batterys need not be discharged completely before being charged again.

Go for it...

I certainly appreciated the price that I paid for my KodakEasyshare 1700 mAH Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery. We were leaving on a family vacation to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, and I wanted a back-up battery for my camera. I had little time to receive the battery - but I received it in a very timely manner. I believe I received it in 3 days. This was wonderful. Also traveling to a retail store to purchase this battery would have been much more costly and time consuming. The battery worked fine and added to our vacation time. Thank you.

I own both Kodak DX6490 and Z730 digital cameras which use the KLIC-5001 battery.

When I first purchased the DX6490 I was very concerned about being tied down to a proprietary battery, after using it for several large photo shoots (over 200 flash pictures on one charge) I am impressed.

I have since purchased an extra battery and the Kodak charger (with international plug adapters) which allows me to use both cameras and keep a battery charged and ready to go, the charger is a handy feature as I don't have to put the camera onto the dock for charging purposes.

This is a much longer review than I would normally write for a battery but this one has earned it, a worthy purchase.

Easy purchase and item fits with camera. We slid in the battery, placed the camera on the docking station to charge the battery for the first time, and took great pictures on vacation. Did not need to recharge in the 10 days we were gone.

I lost the battery to my Kodak EasyShare DX7630 while on vacation. This is the exact battery that came with my camera. I was thankful not only to find it on Amazon for less, but the reviews for this an the 5000 Lithium-Ion reassured me this was the right choice.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this battery is bigger than the one that came with my Z730 camera. It fits the camera perfectly and lasts significantly longer than the original one, which I now use only for backup.

I have the Kodak DX6940 camera. A year ago I went on a week long trip only to discover I had forgotten to pack the charging cradle. I had a 2nd battery, fortunately. But in spite of shooting at least a couple of hundred photos, including flash, I never had to use the 2nd battery and the first never reached empty. I am impressed with the Kodak Li-Ion charged battery life.

I charged this battery, took pictures, and left it in the camera. When I used the camera again it still took more pictures without recharging. It is used in a Kodak Z760 -a camera that takes beautiful, clear, pictures. Just what I need for my cruise. Works wonderfully with the Kodak K5000 rapid battery charger. I used a Kodak K5000 battery which came with the camera before I bought this one. Now the K5000 will just be a back-up battery. - Battery - Kodak - Easyshare - Battery Backup'

Ipad2 Smart Cover - ipad2 smart cover enhancer, ipad 2 cases

I felt I needed some protection for the back of my IPad 2 so ordered the Joy Factory Clear Cover Snap on Hard Case. Had it a week now and love this thing. Its very thin so its hardly noticeable but provides great protection. It seems to be bulletproof, a week of hard use and no signs of any scratches. Very ease to take on or off (though don't know why you'd want to. Only slight negative, Very slight rough/unfinished edges on a couple of the corners. Over than that this thing is perfect. The Joy Factory SmartFit2 Smart Cover Friendly Ultra-Thin Snap-On Hard Case for iPad 2 - Clear (AAD116)

This is a beautiful case, fits perfectly and works with the Apple smart cover. As I opened the box and saw the shiny exterior, I thought "this is going to be pretty scratched up in about a month." Well, I didn't have to wait that long -- it's significantly scuffed and scratched after 2 days of normal wear and tear in the house! Don't bother with this case unless you don't care about these things. I'm going to wait until the incipio feather case comes out and hope I have better luck with that one. - Ipad2 Smart Cover Enhancer - Ipad 2 Smart Cover Enhancer - Ipad 2 Smart Cover - Ipad 2 Cases'

Colors - colors, mens underwear

dont normally write reviews and even odder on some drawls but thought I would add to those who said these are a bit on the tight side. I bought size medium which is supposed to be for 34-36 waist. I wear size 35 pants and found medium to be a bit tight.. they are more comfortable by the end of the day but tight again after washing. I like the material and stitching.. both seem heavier than the boxer briefs I got recently Fruit of the Loom Men's 5-Pack Assorted Briefs,Assorted,Medium

These are very good quality briefs for the money. The sizing is fairly spot on. I bought the 34-36 size because I'm a size 36 waist. They turned out to be a bit too snug for me. So, you should consider that even if you are at the upper end of sizing, you might want to go for the next size up.

What can you say about Undies? My husband reports that they don't ride up. He's a "cotton boy" all the way. They wash and dry just fine without shrinkage. They'll keep the guys "civilized". Besides, I get a kick out of the Fruit Of The Loom boys in the TV commercials.

my son, ryan, noted that I needed a few pairs of under wear, so to surprised me. he bought me 1 fruit of loom boxed set from Amazom.com Each set contains ( a 5 pair pack of assorted colors. He placed the order about 11:00PM (est) from amazon .com on august 11-4-11 and I received the package on wednesday, 8-12-11. The package was in perfect shape. I like the assorted colors and the pants are very comfortable.

I would recommend this prodcut to any one. - Mens Underwear - Colors'

Dell Inspiron Adapter - dell inspiron, laptop power adapters

I was very skeptical about buying this AC adapter. I had changed batteries in my computer and I was still receiving a message that my AC adapter was not recognized and my battery was not charging. My old adapter was still powering my computer but nothing else. Dell's website has the worst reviews for the AC adapters so I thought this would be a better/cheaper route. The product is working perfectly. I plugged it in and it worked right away. My screen did not display the "AC Adapter is not recognized" upon powering up and the battery is charging. I am very pleased with this product. OEM Dell Ac Adapter Laptop Charger for Dell INSPIRON ,Dell XPS ,Dell Studio, Dell Latitude ,Dell Vostro, P/N PA-10 PA10 90w 90 watt Genuine/Original/OEM Portable Charger for Laptop Notebook Computer Battery Charger Power Supply Cord Plug

This is a REAL Dell charger. A bit bigger than the one that came with my Latitude D630, and uses a 3-prong plug instead of 2 prong, but works perfectly. There are a LOT of junky AC adaptors on the market which power the laptops, but do NOT charge the batteries. This is a REAL charger/adaptor. High quality. Works perfectly. Fair price...so I leave this ALWAYS at my desk at home ready to plug in whenever I use my laptop there, and keep the other (original one) ALWAYS in my laptop bag so I've got it if I'm travelling and need it!

I have been very pleased with this power supply. It has been operating every day for the past month since I bought it and it has been working fine. It is interesting to note that this power supply is a full 90W supply. Please don't be fooled into buying the cheaper 60W versions from other vendors. These cheaper 60W supplies burn themselves out after about a month, especially if you are using USB devices that need to draw power from the laptop via the USB port. I know this from personal experience. This supply is an OEM replacement my original laptop power supply, not just a cheaper knockoff.

My old adapter was still powering my computer but nothing else. This power supply is a 90W supply and the system BIOS on my DELL E1705 recognizes it & it charges correctly. Please don't be fooled into buying the cheaper versions from other vendors. I have had an experience with cheaper power supplies that burn themselves out after a year, to the day!. This is especially true if you are using USB devices that need to draw power from the laptop via the USB port. I know this from personal experience.

This supply is an real OEM replacement for my original laptop power supply, not just a cheaper knockoff.

The product is working perfectly. I plugged it in and it worked right away. My screen no longer displays the "AC Adapter is not recognized" upon powering up and the battery is charging.

I am very pleased with this product.

When charger arrived I plugged it into the back of my Dell E1505 and it did feel a little loose so doesn't appear to be the exact model you get from Dell. After a while I noticed this buzzing sound coming from the charger part (the large rectangular portion of the charger where the wires connect) when it was connected to the outlet and into my running laptop. Not sure if it was a fire hazard but I returned it just in case. Sorry, can't recommend.

For two days this product worked OK, then it started sparking and fizzing and did not work when plugged into my laptop. A guy at Best Buy looked at it and as soon as he plugged it in he said "oh crap, that shouldn't be plugged in at all!" because it was dangerous. I bought this product because of the scary reviews of the non-DELL chargers, but it just goes to show you that anything can be a poor quality piece of crap.

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505. On this computer the charger allows the computer to run when plugged in, but does not charge the battery. I have to stay plugged in at all times to use my computer with this product as my charger.

I bought this adapter because the product page said it's compatible with my Dell Inspiron 6000. Before I plugged it in, I noticed that the output amperage is different than my original adapter. I checked elsewhere on the Internet, including the Dell site, and I could find no other reference to this adapter being compatible with my laptop. Other websites list the 6400 as a compatible model, but not the 6000. The wrong amperage might not appear to be a problem immediately, but it can cause severe damage to a system. The seller should fix their listing and be more careful about listing compatibility accurately. I do not regard this seller as trustworthy.

I bought this as a replacement and spent the extra money to get the dell product. Unfortunately this only powers the computer if it is plugged in and will not charge the battery. By the time I replaced the battery and figured out it was the chord, I could not return it!! Bad warranty, bad product. You might as well go with the knock off products and take your chances, at least they are cheaper to replace! - Dell Inspiron Adapter - Laptop Charger - Laptop Power Adapters - Dell Inspiron'

Recorder

I just retired my Sony ICD-B600 Digital Voice Recorders (I had several) and replaced them all with this Sony ICD-PX312 unit. When I saw the Amaz. delivery promise for this PX312 had shifted to "1 to 3 months," well I figured the PX312 for out-of-production ... and so this was as low as prices were going to get. So I snagged several off the pegs at WorstBuy.

The primary reason I upgraded is that the PX312 makes it very easy to save audio files on my hard drive. It has a female A-Mini-USB plug on the side and so I can use my Zip-Linq Retractable USB to A-Mini-USB Cable to connect it to the computer. The PX312 then appears on my computer as a plug-n-play flash drive, no software drivers required. Then I can just copy any audio files off of it and on to my computer. The PX312 stores its audio files in MP3 format, so there are no file conversions involved. In fact, there's no software or drivers needed at all for this gizmo. Sweet!

The Sony website offers a download titled "Sony Sound Organizer for IC Recorder v 1.1" to help you do things like create/move/delete folders on the device. I wouldn't bother. My experience with Sony software and drivers is that it's usually buggy-as-cr@p, so why complicate my computer's environment for such trivial stuff. Any recordings made are found in the Voice/Folder1 folder, and that's all I need to know or do to snag them or erase them.

[The B600 had no computer software, no USB, etc. to support sound transfer. The only option for transferring its recordings was to use the speaker/audio out jack. I ended up using Windows Sound Recorder and the microphone in jack on the back of the PC, and even then there was some odd tweaking required to make that solution work. At the time, I would have had to cough up another forty smackers or so to get the model that provided file transfer support ... and it required software drivers to do it.]

The PX312 also has gobs of memory and will even accept an M2 MicroSD card for expansion. When some reasonably sized M2 cards get cheap as dirt, well I'll snag 'em ... but I probably won't even need them.

The weird "hold" button thing that was going on with the B600 is solved. On this PX312 there is a ON/OFF/HOLD slider switch. Pull down to turn on, pull down again to turn off. (You do have to hold it there for a few seconds sometimes.) Pull the slider switch UP for the hold function. That function locks all the buttons while the device is powered up (so you won't accidentally punch one). On the B600 the "HOLD" slider was actually nothing more than an ON/OFF slider. But anyone could have gone crazy trying to find the ON/OFF slider. Since it was cryptically labeled "HOLD."

Also gone with the PX312 is the weird "erase" function that was on the B600. With the B600, if you followed the instructions for erasing a recording, it resulted in the entire recording being played 10 times before it was erased. Why anyone would have a need for THAT to occur is beyond me. But simply pressing the "Erase" button twice in succession while playing the recording would erase the recording instantly. That approach was undocumented in the instructions. With the PX312 it's much smoother. Push the 'erase' button and the recording to be erased starts to play. The screen asks you to confirm the erase. Select "Yes" and it's gone.

Also solved: The PX312, unlike the B600, has an auto-power-off option and the timer can be adjusted by the user.

The PX312 does bring forward some unresolved shortcomings from the B600. The PX312, as was the B600, is way "over-engineered." The basic operation/buttons and the display screens are not as simple as they could be. It took a bit of reading/plowing through the manual (and reading reviews here on Amazon) to get oriented. And there is other functional overkill. I don't need five storage folders (or a way to transfer files between them), an alarm clock (and a way to select a message for the alarm), the ability to go back and splice previous messages, the ability to append recordings to existing recordings and other such what not. All those functions and buttons just complicate the device/screens/menus needlessly, imho. I just wanted a gizmo that would make audio recordings at the push of a button, that would let me move them to my computer for storage and that made them in a format that didn't require any conversion efforts. And I suspect that is just about all most users want out of these devices. I guess Sony thinks it has to load up a bunch of this useless functionality to justify the asking price.

The price of the Sony devices with this level of capability had been steadily dropping, of course, and so these PX312s cost me no more than what I paid for the ICD-B600s a few years ago. Now the ICD-B600s will be sold on eBay ... and so I've upgraded for practically nothing. Double Sweet!! Sony ICD-PX312 Digital Flash Voice Recorder'

Real Time Strategy - blizzard, pc game

Every company these days has their own version of a real-time strategy (RTS) game and many aren't worth the price as they are cheap rip-offs of other popular ideas. However, if you'd like to play a game created by the company most responsible for the RTS craze, then look no further than Warcraft 3. Not only do you get the most balanced RTS game available which makes for better multiplayer competition but you also get one heck of a single-player campaign. The story in Warcraft 3 is terrific and probably better than most role-playing games. To top it off, Warcraft 3 combines superior graphics with the best artwork you will ever see in a real-time strategy game. The orcs, undead legions, humans, elves and many worlds they explore are a visual as well as strategic experience. And best of all, this game that was well worth the price when it was released is now packaged with the top notch expansion, The Frozen Throne, which is an expansion that is actually better than most regular RTS games these days. If you've never tried the Blizzard series of real-time strategy games, you're missing out. This company is pure class and even provides a free online gaming service called BattleNet that allows you to match your wits against thousands of online gamers. Whether it be releasing some of the most stable games in years or banning griefers on BattleNet that formed a childish organization whose only intention was to backstab allies in multi-player competition, Blizzard is known as one of the best gaming companies in the business, and it shows with their games. Warcraft III Battle Chest

I don't think I need to go into detail about the game: you can just visit http://www.blizzard.com/war3 , http://www.blizzard.com/war3x/ , and http://www.battle.net/war3 and they'll tell you everything you need to know about the mechanics and the features of the game. There are some things that I can say about it.

The graphics are as good as you'd ever need, but that's not to say they're bad; quite the opposite actually. The game has a cartoonish tone to its graphics that really lends itself to the fantasy atmosphere and the spell effects are top-notch. At first glance, the game may seem to be about who gets the strongest hero first, but that's certainly not the case. The number of strategies are infinite and everything can be easily countered by an experienced player. There is a heavy emphasis on micromanagement and spellcasting in the thick of battle that is overwhelming even for me, a 6-year starcraft veteran. I recommend dialing down the game speed during especially large battles, because the computer will wipe you out if you give it the chance.

The single-player story is absolutely stellar. Photo-realistic CGI Cinematics precede and end each of the campaigns, and there are no traditional mission briefings as such. The in-game cinemas help to advance the story and serve to never take you out of the game world; this all adds up to a immersion in the story like no other. Since each of the campaigns revolve around a single hero, it's not hard to get emotionally involved in the story, and that's a rare feat. One of the reasons I love Blizzard's game so much is the wealth of detail they inject into the history of the worlds; in this case, the realm of Azeroth. Half of the instruction manual is devoted to the backstory of each of the four races and explanations of all of the units; far beyond just describing what they do.

It's very easy to pick up and play - the orc tutorial mini-campaign at the beginning is really all you need, but practice helps to master the strategies and find the one that works for you. Battle.net can be a hostile place, inhabited mostly by boys in their early teens; but more often than not you get involved in a great game with several other likeable people who aren't having an ego trip.

The only complaints I have is that even though the story has as much depth as most novels have, it steals quite a lot of elements from Starcraft. Some of the spells/skills can be recognizable from Starcraft, and Diablo, both produced by Blizzard as well. While the story in Reign of Chaos (original warcraft III) is amazing in itself and ends on a great note, the story in The Frozen Throne (the expansion to warcraft III, also included in the battle chest) ends on quite a downer. You could stop at Reign of Chaos and not miss much story-wise, but it's only a minor complaint, because the Frozen Throne campaign is just as stellar, if not even more so than the RoC Campaign. The biggest complaint I have with this pack is the strategy guides included - they're nothing like the ones included in the Starcraft Battle Chest. They're "Official Battle Chest Guides" which only provide strategys for the campaigns. They have no maps, unit descriptions, and only a few general tips for other game types. There are even references to maps that aren't even there. Not to mention they're very small, to fit in the box. I wasn't very happy with them at all.

Overall though, this is an incredible game, recommended to anyone who loves a challenge and a great story. - Real Time Strategy - Strategy - Blizzard - Pc Game'
