Air Compressors - combo packs, compressor

In my kit, the finishing nailer was refurbished, the rest new. It didn't work at all out of the box. It was so bad it almost surely didn't work when it left the repair center. Porter Cable (PC) would not take the unit back; I had to take it to a repair center which meant taking time off of work. When I picked it up, they said a part was missing, that they couldn't repair it, and that it could not have worked when it left the repair facility. I contacted PC again and they sent me a prepaid return mailing label and exchanged it for a new unit in retail packaging. In the end, PC did the right thing but I'm still annoyed that I had to invest three hours of my time to get it resolved.

Now that everything works, it seems to be of decent quality. the compressor is loud, but the largish tank and high pressure are very, very nice. Overall, if I had it to do over again, I'd probably go for the Bostich set for approximately the same price, but I'm happy with the set that I have. Factory-Reconditioned Porter Cable 3PAKR Finish Nailer/Brad Nailer/Stapler Compressor Combo

I bought this last week because I am working on a 12ft high x 36ft long x 4ft deep childrens playhouse. There was no way I was hammer nailing all of the roof shingles, trim, etc... So I went on line and saw this package. Let me say that it is AWESOME! It looked brand new. There was no visual signs of any prior use. Other than "Inspected by 3-1" stickers on everything you would think it was brand new. I have used over 4000 Finish Nails, and over 2500 Finish nails since it arrived (I haven't used the stapler yet). It has performed flawlessly. I am so glad I got it. It is a great value!

The guns in this kit are great, however I think PC should have stepped it up to the better brad nailer... Guns worked with zero problems, zero jams, zero misfires. Adjustable depth works very well.

Not a huge fan of the compressor, not just with this kit, but any combo kit. I wish they would take some of the better compressors and make them into a combo pack for a little more money. mainly because outside of a combo pack, the guns are pretty expensive. You're basically buying this combo for the guns and a starter compressor till you can buy a better one.

Item arrived in great working condition. It had some other guys last name etched into the bottom, but otherwise in pristine condition. Worked like a charm.

I saw the same kit at Home Depot for $289. So... This is a wonderful value.

Hi:

I purchased this set on Aug. 29 and did not test it out 'til this weekend. Three guns are exceptional reliable tools, based on my tests and usages. I have no problems with all three tools: no jamping, stuck or what-so-ever. I set the pressure around 90-95 PSI for all three tools and got them deliver perfectly.

The air compressor is very good quality and it works right out the box. I have no problems with the air compressor. Further, I got a few cheap air tools from Harbor Freight, as a stapler, a pin nailer and tried them on with the Porter Cable air compressor. They all work very well. By the way, I purchased this set as a Factory-Reconditioned set.

One thing the users have to remember to get the correct size of nails or staples, as indicated by the Manufacturer, as well as the pressure settings; otherwise, you will have very big issues. Please follow the instructions.

I must give this a solid 5 star rating.

I am returning my second one to amazon. My 2 star rating is not of the working version - seems perfectly fine, and I've really like PC finish and brad guns in the past. The main issue is that the factory reconditioned ones aren't - they seem to be just unrepaired units sent out with an "inspected by" sticker on them. I'm sure the problems I had (bad drain valve on one, bad pressure regulator on the next) were the reasons they were returned in the first place.

I'd keep sending them back to Amazon until I got a working one, but they seem to be out of them now (no surprise, other exchanges no doubt got there before me). So its refund and buy new time.

First compressor set came with a broken check valve on the compressor so it wouldn't build over 20 lbs of pressure. Returned to Amazon for another kit and received a second kit that the finishing nailer was heavily abused and had leaking seals. Returned it to Amazon and had to wait a while because they put a hold on the product because other buyers had encountered similar problems. Third set arrived from a different Amazon warehouse location and worked perfectly. Amazon is so great to deal with because of their customer service. The problem just seemed to be the quality control coming from Porter Cable. Great value once you get a functioning kit and worth the wait. - Reconditioned Tools - Combo - Compressor - Combo Packs'

Ipod Touch 4g Case - accessories, ipod touch case

So, yeah, like a lot of people have said, this case doesn't really fit. It's definitely a bit too large and doesn't stay in place if it's in your pocket. Another result of the loose fit is that it makes it more difficult to press the power and volume buttons effectively. Also, although the connectors, speaker, and camera are all accessible, the thin strip of rubber along the bottom is incredibly flimsy and doesn't stay in place very well. So, this case works perfectly fine if your iPod will be laying flat on a table all day, but that's about it.

So, yeah, seeing as I only paid a dollar for this (plus S&H), I can't really say that I'm surprised. But to describe this case as "premium" is to display either an extreme lack of comprehension of the English language, or a willingness to lie about your product to make a quick buck. Premium Black Soft Gel Silicone Skin Case Cover for Apple iPod Touch 4G, 4th Generation, 4th Gen

I just received the ordered cover...perfect shape and solid quality although the color is more or less TRANSPARENT instead of BLACK. IMHO looks even better in transparent so I am perfectly happy. Just 4 stars for the fact the the info on the color is incorrect.

Great cover - protects all the corners and the back from scratches, keeps iPod from slipping, easy to put on and it stays on well. No cover for front - need to buy screen protector separately, but quite inexpensive - less than half most other similar covers. I was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.

Pros:

- Price. Under $3 for an iPod Touch case? You'd have to dish out three times as much as a retailer for something of comparable quality.

- Grips well to flat surfaces. Good for browsing the web or app store with the device on a table.

Cons:

- Quality. The rubber isn't exactly outstanding; there's a molding line that goes round the edges of the case, which makes it less pleasant to hold. Also, the sides of the case bulge out slightly, which takes away from the look of the unit.

- Lint pickup. If you're planning on putting your iPod in your pocket at all, be prepared for lint and fuzz sticking to the case. The feeling of the case declines with the more lint that sticks to it

- Though it fits fairly well, the case can become dislodged if pushed on properly. Usually when this happens, it's the last thing you want to deal with.

Overall, I'd recommend either a higher end rubber case or, better yet, a hard case for your iPod Touch 4th Gen. I ordered this one so I'd have a case on hand when I bought my iPod. It has given me time to seek out something better. And believe me, almost anything would be better. Don't buy this unless you're in my situation or you want a cheap backup case.

We bought 2 of these case covers for our new Ipod just in case there was wear and tear after a while on one of them. My husband put one of the skins on and later that day took his Ipod out of his pocket and there was already a small tear on the case. We expected this to happen eventually... but not right away. The is a very cheap product so I guess you get what you're paying for.

Certainly at this price point, you have to expect that you're going to get what you paid for. I knew this coming in. So, my expectations were low....and I wasn't disappointed. This case is really pretty crappy. You will NOT want to keep this as your permanent solution on your new, expensive iPod. To call this a 'Premium' case is very misleading. It should be called 'As Basic and Cheap as possible' Soft Black Gel Silicone Skin Case. The seams and cuts are all jaggedy. The case is flimsy and loose.

If you're going for something temporary until something better comes along..may I suggest some of the cheap TPU type cases. They are tougher, fit snugger, and are not dust magnets like this material.

I recently got a ipod touch and was very excited. I bought one of those transparent screen cover to protect the front of the ipod and figured that I also need something to protect the back. Therefore, I bought this piece of junk.

Problems with the cover:

1. Way too loose, it doesn't stay on the ipod when you put it in your pocket.

2. It interferes with typing. When I tried to type anything, the cursor will jump all over the place. I have take off the cover whenever I need to type anything.

3. The cover collects dust too easily.

Basically, the cover needs to be taken off the ipod when you need to use it. It comes off easily when you aren't using it. What I do all the time is to put it back on. Terrible. - Ipod Touch 4th Generation - Ipod Touch 4g - Accessories - Ipod Touch Case'

Ergonomic Wrist Rest - ergonomics, handstands

I had switched a couple of years back to a wave style keyboard that I really like but that made it pretty impossible to use a standard wrist rest since the front is curved. This bean-bag style bag is great as it assumes any shape needed. Couldn't be happier - and I have rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and wrists. You sometimes need to smooth out the "beans" as you'll end up with indentations where your wrists are, but I find it to be an advantage since my wrists change size and shape with flare ups anyway! Very soft flannel, too. Now I use my old gel pad wrist support to cushion my feet when the toes flare up! Or maybe I'll cut it in half and put one half each on the chair arms for when the elbows flare up...hmmm hadn't thought of that until just now! Handstands-Ergonomic Beads Wrist Rest

As far as wrist rests go, this one is a little bit too tall. It makes my hands have to reach down to the keyboard. Also, when you rest your wrists, as it is a bean bag-type, you create indentations of your wrists, which makes it difficult to reposition your hands as you type.

Just recd wrist rest today, and it is very nice! The texture is like a bean bag. It is only the wrist rest though, and does not include the keyboard. I ordered this without reading the description and just looking at the picture and believed it was a keyboard at a great price. This was my fault for not being more careful, but don't make same mistake. If you are looking for a wrist rest only it is really nice!!

I've been using one of these for about 6-8 months, I bought it at Staples. I'm not sure how much I paid for it, so I can't say whether it was a good dollar value or not. As I recall, it was priced comparably to similar items of it's type.

I will say that the cushioning action of the beads is pretty mediocre, at best. You can pretty easily "bottom out" your wrists onto whatever hard surface your computer rests on with little/no trouble. Supposedly, flipping the product over can vary the degree of cushioning/support you receive, but I found the difference between the two sides to be almost indiscernible.

The seam separating the top & bottom sections of the product is also showing noticeable wear after only several months of a few hours of use, 3-4 days a week. I certainly din't think this item was "bulletproof", but I expected it to last at least a full year. I can readily envision opening my computer bag one day soon to find the hundreds of small plastic beads previously filling this device to be merrily inhabiting my bottom of my computer bag, instead. Won't THAT be a fun mess to clean up!!!!

As a preemptive measure, I'll be purchasing a new wrist-rest in the near future. Needless to say, I'm sure it won't be a Handstands product, either. But if the idea of cleaning 100s of small plastic beads up from bags, desks, or floors gives you a thrill; this item might be right up your alley.

Have fun!!!!!

Employees are raving about this product. As soon as one employee sees someone using it others are asking about it. Much better than the traditional rests and very easy on the wrist. I will be ordering more.

I use an ergonomic keyboard at work that has 'sort-of' a wrist rest.

This wrist rest conforms nicely to any keyboard shape (have used it with several different keyboards).

The fabric is soft has hold up well to daily use.

I had abandoned using my desktop in favor of my laptop. A new keyboard and mouse helped changed that, but this HandStands keyboard wrist pad, along with the mouse pad and wrist pad have totally changed that.

My desktop is now a pleasure to use and type on thanks to these products.

I was really skeptical as to whether or not this rest would make a difference or not. Well.... I'm not a skeptic anymore. All the 5 star reviews were right on! - Ergonomic Wrist Rest - Ergonomics - Wrist Cushion - Handstands'

Sata Power Adapter - sata, hard drive

Not really a whole lot to say about a data cable. The cables are just a s advertised - SATA 20" data cables. I've been using them for about a month now. One for a hard drive and one for a DVD drive. They work. The transfer speed appears constant with posted specifications. I do have another data cable from a different manufacture and I can not tell the difference in speed (I doubt anyone could). The plugs slide on and hold like they should.I gave them five stars because the cables work as expected without any issues. Recommended. SATA 2.0 Data Cable, 20in - 2 Pack

Sata cables are hard to mess up. I got these cheaper than on monoprice, and they came quickly. Work fine for me, the red isn't my favorite color so I just wrapped them in electrical tape to hide them in my case.

This is a great price for a couple of straight ended sata cables; you go into some place like radio shack

or one of the big box office supply stores and they act like this stuff is made out of gold.

DON'T EVER BUY FROM THESE OUTLETS IF YOU CAN HELP IT.

In figuring out routing on a build the straight cables have a tendency to work more than the ones with an

angled connector on one end because a double row of connections on the MB does not lend itself to the angled

end, and hard drive and CD/DVD drive hookups are about 50/50 (sometimes you use angle, sometimes you don't). - Hard Drive - Sata Cables - Sata - Cable'

Prevent Snoring - insomnia, health

This product is amazing! My husband and I had been sleeping in separate rooms for months. We decided to try SnoreStop out of desperation. It works so great! He hardly snores at all now. As soon as he doesn't use it for a few days it just starts up again. So I make sure and remind him every night. It has to be the last thing you do before bed and you can't eat or drink after you use it. It took about a week before we noticed it working so don't get skeptical if it doesn't work the first night you use it. Also, you have to use it regularly every night for it to continue to work. I am a firm believer in this product!

This product really works and I would advise anyone to try it. I think everyone is different and you have to do the trial and error system with all the over-the-counter stuff. This works great for me. I noticed im not flipping as much and waking up more refreshed and my partner of 3 years is enjoying his sleep much better as well

Had a problem with my roommate's snoring waking myself and himself up. Read online that there is no cure to snoring.

This product proved that wrong. He always has a nasty look when he sprays, but no snoring!

I must first say that this product is phenomenal!

I recently got a severe cold which sent my snoring decibels through the roof. I snore regularly, but nothing compared to this. My wife was suffering all night until she eventually left the room in disgust.

I needed a cure and quick! I trucked out to Shoppers Drug Mart, where this product came recommended by the on-site pharmacist.

And it was only $13.99 CAD

I was eager to try the product, but was still very skeptical.

I followed the instructions to the tee. 30 Minutes before, and at bed time.

When I woke up, I found that I slept better (because I wasn't struggling for breath) and my wife slept soundly because I didn't let out a peep all night.

I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone!

It does what it says it will without compromise.

Amazing indeed!

I have used this product for the last two nights so far, and my wife tells me she has not heard any snoring from me at all during the last two nights! Both she and I are delighted with this product! Now, I can also go to conferences and not be afraid of keeping my roommate up all night! SnoreStop Extinquisher works for me, and i will keep on using it!

I tried this product out of desperation. It worked! I started sleeping more soundly immediately. I didn't realize that my snoring was affecting my rest. I have allergies, so my snoring is probably a result of congestion and post nasal drip as well as getting older. One drawback--I noticed during the second week that my food had lost its flavor and I believe it is because of this product. Perhaps I should have been more careful to spray only in the back of my throat. I did move it around my mouth and taste it each time I sprayed, which probably was not a good idea. It has a vanilla-like taste, which disappears in seconds. I am waiting for my tastebuds to come back to life before I try it again. I haven't used it for 2 nights and they haven't recovered yet. I'll be more careful next time. I hate to give it up because it stopped the snoring and I was sleeping so much better--and so was my husband. I am happy it worked so well, but disappointed that my sense of taste has been affected. I'm willing to try it again. - Apnea - Insomnia - Health - Homeopathic'

Ipod Touch Accessories - screen protector, clear

the product is not perfectly cut but somehow i managed to install it perfectly. but when i was removing the sticker that says peel after installation, it sticks so hard that even how carefully i peeled it, it left some paper marks that ruined everything! sticky smudges! really frustrating! replacing asap! Luxmo Premium Clear Screen Protector for Apple iPod Touch 4G, 4th Generation, 4th Gen

I ordered this product and it arrived promptly. The packaging was fine. When it comes to product quality this was a very cheap product, literally. Don't buy it because of the price tag. It does not fit and creates many air bubbles, even when properly placed. Don't waste your money on this, buy a nice one.

I knew I would need a screen protector for my iPod, but I was worried that I would get bubbles under it when I applied it. This went on very nicely with no bubbles! The screen protector was much stiffer than I expected, making it much easier to apply. The is a hole for the front facing camera and the home button, but unlike the picture, there is no hole for the ambient light sensor. The screen protector is non-adhesive, but still very grippy on the backside. On the front, it feels no different from the actual screen of the iPod.

Everything else I have bought through Amazon, I have been extremely happy with. It all worked as described. But this screen protector is absolute Garbage.

First, the protector is supposed to be sticky so it can adhere to the screen. Its not.

Second, the little flaps that help with the attaching of the protector to the iTouch, are too sticky and in my attempt to peel them off, half came off and the other half was left behind. In attempt to clean it, I had to gently peel the residue back, however this caused a bend in the protector and automatically meant bubbles.

Third, in my best attempt to apply the protector without touching the "sticky" side, there already were small particles of dust on it, which when applied made the screen look as if it broke out with bubbles covering the entire screen.

This product, despite being a really good price, is not ideal nor is it worth buying. From one friend to another, invest a little more money, and DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

I got this for my son recently. It is well worth the $1+. After reading the bad reviews I was skeptical but decided to take a chance for such a low price. It arrived quickly, was well packaged and worked exactly as described. He had no trouble applying it, the cutouts were fine, no bubbles. For the price you can't go wrong. Don't let the bad reviews hold you back.

This seemed like a good buy because of the very low price. The photo makes it hard to distinguish from any other iPod Touch screen protector, however when this product arrived it had a sticker on the front that would not come off! Eventually I was able to remove it but it left a sticky residue behind!! What is the big idea? This is a touch-screen device protector, so having a sticker that leaves sticky crap behind renders this product completely useless... if you think you are saving money by buying this you are WRONG, you are just throwing it away... go buy something a little more expensive that will actually work instead!

Ok, I just bought the new version I pod Touch, and I bought this with it. It came pretty fast but when I got it out of the package it was horrible!! I tried to put it on about 100 times and it never worked. I couldn't get the air bubbles out of it! So, I finally put it where it belongs... in the trash

When you line up the hole over the start button the hole over the camera is slightly askew...not enough to affect use of the camera but I'm a stickler for details. It will protect your screen. Also, this product is slightly smaller than your 4g Itouch screen. Even with the case on I can see the edges of the screen protector. Getting it on there with zero bubbles is also a bit tricky. - Clear - Protector - Ipod Touch 4g - Screen Protector'

Mouse Combos - mouse combos, ergonomic keyboard

This Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro is a combination of a cordless version of the Logitech Wave Keyboard and a single (rechargeable) battery version of the Logitech MX 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse (910-000718). In general, I'd have given it a 4 star ranking except for one thing: I had to buy a Cables To Go - 19018 - 2M USB A/A Extension Cable to stop the mouse from lagging/stuttering (just plain stopping for several seconds at a time). The problem could be a combination of the thumb-drive sized receiver for the keyboard/mouse and my steel Antec LifeStyle Solo ATX Quiet ATX Mini-Tower Case (Piano Black). The receiver plugs directly into a USB port instead of sitting on the desk with a cable extending to the USB port. For a laptop (or maybe a non-steel case), this shouldn't be a problem (in fact, it would be very convenient). But, in my setup, I'd lose the mouse connection repeatedly. Just using a foot-long USB extension cable so the receiver rested on top of my computer case got rid of most of the lagging. With the two meter extension, I've got the receiver on top of my desk (like the receiver for my old Logitech 967692-0403 Cordless Desktop Comfort Laser (Black) and haven't had any problems at all.

Regarding the keyboard part of this package, it's pretty good. Compared to my old keyboard, I find it a bit cramped. But, I think this is a function of my being used to the more separated hands of the pure ergonomic design. The wave design is better than a regular, straight design. But, not as good a real split-hand ergonomic keyboard. My only other complaint about it is a minor one: the palm rest is non-detachable (it's a soft, padded rubber, though). I had a micro-bead palm rest that was great. But, with the non-detachable nature of this keyboard, it's no longer really workable. One other thing to be aware of is that the two AA batteries that come with the keyboard are non-rechargeable (unlike the mouse's).

For the mouse, I've already mentioned the stuttering problem and my solution. The only other problem I have with it is that the Back and Forward buttons are a bit small and awkwardly placed (again, this could just be because I'm used to a different mouse). On the positive side, the mouse feet are great. My old mouse didn't slide well at all. On the very same surface, this one glides smoothly and easily. So, the mouse feels good and moves well. The next biggest positive would probably be the standard rechargeable AA battery (instead of a proprietary version -- and note that there's only one battery instead of the two that come with the stand-alone mouse). The set comes with a charger for the mouse. But, I'll just be using my standard battery charger and batteries instead. I also like the little button below the scroll wheel which converts the scroll wheel from free-spinning to click-spinning.

So, if it weren't for the receiver interference problem (which could be specific to my steel case setup), I'd have been happy to rate this set at a Very Good 4 stars out of 5. But, because of it, I'm dropping my rating by one to a Good 3 stars out of 5. Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse

This is a great keyboard/mouse combination. In fact, it's worth buying the Wave Pro set over the Wave set just for the upgraded mouse...which you cannot buy outside of this combo.

The keyboard is the best ergonomic keyboard I've used and involves almost no learning curve. In fact, typing feels more natural than I'm used to...even as a writer. The keyboard is responsive (albeit a little bit louder than I prefer, but then again no external keyboard will be as quiet as a laptop keyboard).

MAC USERS, READ THIS:

It is true that the Wave Pro DOES work just fine with apple OS X. What does NOT work is Logitech Control Center (commonly referred to as LCC). It's not the LCC isn't compatible with Mac OS X, it's that LCC doesn't recognize the Wave Pro keyboard.

A call to Logitech support revealed that the infrared receiver for the Wave Pro combo differs from the Wave combo. It's the infrared receiver in the Wave Pro set that makes LCC unable to recognize a connected keyboard or mouse. It seems strange that Logitech would support OS X on the lesser priced version of this combo and not the Pro version, but that, unfortunately, is the case.

There have been stories of the difficult to find LCC version 2.6 (currently in version 2.7) working with the Wave Pro set, but such was not the case for me. If you want to give it a shot yourself, grab it from logitech's public FTP page here: ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/mac/. You're looking for the "lcc260.zip" file.

It's both a blessing and a curse that LCC isn't supported for the Wave Pro on OS X, as it has been the reported problem of SOOOOOO MANY problems, including a blue screen of death, kernel panic issues, program crashes, and random freezes. We mac users are definitely not used to such issues.

If you want to map your mouse buttons, simply download the VERY popular SteerMouse program. Problem solved. As far as the keyboard goes, I personally haven't found a good 3rd party keyboard mapping software to regain the functionality of the media and specialty keys on the keyboard itself. Note that the volume and iTunes controls DO work, out of the box, just not the zoom, webcam, settings, calculator, and other launcher keys.

If anyone DOES know of a program to map these keys, I'd love to know about it.

In conclusion, if you're a mac user considering this combo, don't let the problems with Logitech Control Center deter you. As I mentioned before, it's both a blessing and a curse. At least you can the very stable SteerMouse to regain functionality of the many wonderful mouse buttons. - Wireless Keyboard - Cordless - Mouse Combos - Ergonomic Keyboard'
