Beautiful Illustration - canon, beautiful illustration

Not only does this USB 2.0 printer scanner cable work perfectly for my HP printer and Toshiba laptop, the seller, BargainCell, was one of the best sellers I have ever purchased from. The cable came neatly packaged and was brand new just as described. It was also shipped very quickly.

I give the seller extra high marks because when I informed them that my order had encountered a problem (which was not in any way BargainCell's fault) they fixed the problem for me at no additional cost! This is a seller who truly cares about customer service and goes above and beyond their responsibilities. I highly recommend this seller and this product. :) Black 10 ft Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Printer Scanner Cable Type A Male to Type B Male For HP Canon, Lexmark, Epson,

My daughter was going away to college and got a new printer. I needed a USB printer cable but when I looked at Staples, the cost was highway robbery. Searched on amazon and came up with this one. Works great, seems well constructed and saved me a bundle. Now, if I could do the same with tuition....

This cable is $35 at any office supply store... I am so glad that I found this great deal. This cable is great if you need to sit your printer farther away from your desktop than the OEM cable will let you.

I used this cable for my MacBookPro onto my Canon printer and it worked wonders. I was surprised that it worked. I thought it would say error, but it didn't. Also the cable is really long, so it's convenient when I am placing the printer with the desktop.

The item arrived in the described condition by the seller. 10ft cable was actually 10ft and the cable was brand new and not damaged. Great product! BTW it also works as a Casio piano USB Just to let you know.

I ordered this cable to connect my Epson PictureMate to my computer. When I tried to print using the cable, the data cuts off halfway through printing. I hear the sound on my maching indicating I've unplugged the cable, but I haven't. I am ordering a better brand cable to check, but I think the cable is defective! - Beautiful Illustration - Usb Cables - Canon - Printer Cable'

Video Games - toy story, video games

First of all I'm a Toy Story junkie. I was kinda worried about a game this big in the palm of my hand. In a nutshell, while Toy Story 3 has it's problems, I still think it's worth a buy especially if you have 6-12yo in the house. I personally was bored with many of the mini games. Some are just annoying and I Just wanted to move on. On the other hand, many were a blast. But most of the little ones in your world won't mind.

The game is a mix of a ton of mini games, a big story mode and some platforming elements. I had soem problems with the moments where jumping and lining up jumps is important in the adventure levels and having to use the stick, but most will catch on pretty fast. The graphics are well done, albeit a little grainy in parts and I thought the audio was a little tinny. But considering the amount of things to do and play in Toy Story 3, most won't mind. One major issue with families with multiple kids. The game only allows you to save one game on the cartridge which is a big no no for DS games. So if a child wants to start over, it will erase the current file. So keep that in mind. But overall, if you just want a lot of things to do and you like Toy Story, it's worth a serious look. Toy Story 3 The Video Game

My sons (ages 7 & 6) finished this game in a single afternoon. Worse yet, they showed no interest in replaying it, making Toy Story 3 my most expensive DS purchase. A good game can last weeks, even months with repeated play. Geez, we still have two copies of Mario Kart and we purchased them nearly two years ago!

The story mode mixes adventure play and mini-games. Beware though, story mode is very short. The game offers two other modes - Imaginary World and Playtime. The game also includes DGamer features for online play, including special achievements that can be unlocked and shared with friends.

Of course, none of these extras appealed to my kids. I attribute part of the problem to the fact that my sons were born *after* Toy Story and Toy Story 2. They have no nostalgia for Woody and Buzz. So, the game had to win them over on its own merits.

Even the large cache of unlockables available wasn't enough to entice them to play the game again once they finished the story mode.

What caught my attention immediately was the voice work and background music. Woody, in particular, went from cute to excruciating annoying inside of 15 minutes. He repeated the same lines repeatedly in a higher pitch than I remembered from the movies. His voice in the game version reminded me of something you might hear from a fortune teller coin-op.

I want to note that the game looks good (the game trailer was part of the reason I bought the game in the first place). The 3D environment is trippy and surprisingly easy to navigate.

In summary, the story mode is very short. Make sure your kids are huge fans of the Toy Story trilogy before making this purchase. The game's value will depend on their play of the other two modes - Imaginary World and Playtime - and an interest in searching out all of the unlockables. For our sons, this game couldn't hold their interest for a second day. Rating: two stars.

Toy Story 3 is a really great movie. It combines humor with emotion, as well as really interesting settings.

The DS version of the game follows the movie quite well, but it has a few scenes of its own.

This game seems to be targeted for little kids, because there is no way how you can lose. Sure, you can die, but then you'll realize that you have infinite lives. This would usually go for a little kid's game, but there IS an exception (The Simpsons Game) or two. Another way to tell is that it tells you EVERYTHING you must do next on the top screen.

Because of this, pretty much anybody can be able to beat the game. That might not be a bad thing, however. Then again, a "Lives" option would be nice.

You can only play as Woody and Buzz, and you can't choose them yourself. There are levels in which you use one or the other. They have their own unique moves, such as Woody being able to throw his hat like a Boomerang, and Buzz can karate chop.

Since the DS has its limits, the cutscenes aren't taken from the movie. Instead, most are recreated to match the scenes from the movie. 3D models talk silently to each other in the cutscenes, and the text is seen on the bottom of the screen. That's a nice replacement, right there.

There is a game mode called "Playtime Mode" that replaces the "Toy Box Mode" from the console versions. Is it as fun? No. "Playtime Mode" has you play a Toy Story-themed tower defense game. Build towers that can fire at the upcoming enemies. Each with their own kinds of ammo, and if you like, you can call Slinky or Rex for assistance. It may not be superior to the "Toy Box Mode" in the console games, but it's still fun to play some Tower Defense.

The Wi-Fi experience I had here was unexpected, mainly because I never used the DGamer service before I played this game. You can chat with other people that own a Disney game for DS. Unfortunately, the chat is limited (You know: FOR KIDS!), so you can't curse out to anybody or make up words. What may keep players playing Toy Story 3 is the Leaderboard. Wanna beat the high score for a level? Go for it!

Overall, it's a good movie-licensed game that you should try out. People who want a challenge, however, should pass.

My 9 yr. old daughter conquered this game in 2 days. I was disappointed for a $40.00 game to be so easy to play. My daughter suggests this game for 4-7 yrs of age. We have the Wii Toy Story 3 and it is alot of fun for all ages.

My 9 year old son picked this game out as a reward. He was in tears after playing the game for only about two hours and had completed the whole thing. My 11 year old daughter picked it up to play and declared it boring after a short time. For $30 it should last longer than a mere afternoon. - Disney - Kids - Toy Story - Video Games'

Olympus - voice recorder, olympus

My colleague and I compared notes on the Olympus WS-400 versus the Sony ICD-UX71 digital voice recorders for use by our undergraduate social science students, and here's a copy of what we agreed on:

Both the Sony and the Olympus have nearly identical features:

- 1GB storage

- stereo microphones

- USB direct connect

- 1 AAA battery

- about 2 seconds to start up

The Sony creates MP3 files, and the Olympus creates WMA files, but this is not a big problem for Mac users, since many of us have the free Flip4Mac download that automatically converts WMA files for Apple Quicktime player.

I think that the Olympus WS-400 is a better product for student interviewing, for the following reasons:

1) the Olympus has fewer buttons, and better placement of them

2) when you record on the Olympus, you can see the input sound levels on little bar charts, which confirms it's actually working

3) the Sony has a plastic cap that covers up the USB direct connect, which comes off and can easily be misplaced. But the Olympus uses a simple slider button to move the USB connector outside of the case, where you can use it. No parts to lose!

4) when I connected both units to PC and Mac computers, both units appeared on the screen within seconds, but the Olympus had a simpler file structure (only one level) to locate the recorded files.

5) Based on my simultaneous recording test, the sound quality was very similar on the PC, but better for the Olympus on the Mac (not sure why). For file size, the Olympus is about 2/3 the size of the Sony files (I think, because the default sound quality level on Sony is 192k, while the Olympus is 128k)

6) The Olympus is a better price.

If you buy the Olympus, one very simple but important setup instruction: the AAA battery has a thin transparent plastic covering that must be removed before inserting it into the unit Olympus WS-400 S Digital Recorder (White)

I've owned this recorder for about four months, using it mostly for interviews. It's far and away the best DVR I've ever owned. Very simple to use, decent battery life (love that it can recharge through USB port while plugged in), good mic pickup, super-easy file transfer with built-in USB dongle. It's even better when used with the small Olympus noise-cancelling mic.

As previous reviewers have noted, this recorder has some clear advantages over the Sony UX71. It's much more intuitive to operate, and better built. But the main advantage is battery life: The UX71, which I unfortunately bought, routinely kills a battery in one day, even when set to "hold." It's worthless, and Sony hasn't been too anxious to do a thing about it, beyond offering exchange for a refurb (I suspect its endemic with the model, and haven't bothered.) I was a Sony user for a long time, but no more.

The sole advantage to the Sony, in my mind, was the fact that it records in MP3 format, which is handy for web posting, etc. But that's not an advantage anymore. Olympus has posted a firmware update for this recorder on its web site that gives you the option of recording in .wma or mp3. So there you go. A much-appreciated update. Download it.

If your an occasional user of digital voice recorders, this is a great product and you will likely be very happy with it. I "upgraded" my VN-4100PC to this unit because of the lack of Vista 64 support on the VN-4100 PC, I still was able to offload audio using VMWare with a XP image.

The device is a lot larger in terms of audio storage than my VN-4100 PC, I went from 24hrs to 70hrs with HQ mode (highest quality non-stero mode). On lower quality you can get 250+ hours, but I find HQ is best because you are better able to understand what you are recording.

I use the devices two ways, one way is very difficult with this device and is the primary way I use it. The other way, the device works perfectly and well suited for this task.

I will frequently record phone calls with a TP7 telephone recorder (very cheap mic that records both sides of the conversation). For this task, the WS-400S is excellent, the recording time and quality works perfectly. Since the device is now a mass storage device, support for any OS is practically guaranteed.

The second, more common use is taking notes. I use David Allen's "Getting Things Done" process as well as other systems and my own for day to day productivity. One part of GTD I have adopted is taking note down immediately. I use a digital voice recorder for this and carry it just about everywhere. I will then dump the notes into my system, here is where I have a lot of problems. With my VN-4100 PC I would put the device on "HOLD" which pretty much locks the keyboard, but with the WS-400S, it turns the device off, the downside of this is it takes 1-2 seconds for the device to wake up, compared to the instant wake up on the VN-4100PC. So when you take it off hold and hit record (I frequently do this without even looking at the device since I record 5-30 messages daily) the record button frequently will do nothing, you have to remember to wait 2 seconds or so before even attempting to press record. This has caused me numerous lost recordings and 'redos'. For daily use, this has become much more problematic than lack of Vista 64 support has been. Support claims this is par for the course and there is nothing that can be done. I am waiting to hear if the WS500 series has the same problem, if they do I may want to look at Sony recorders. USB functionality is key for me as I frequently record phone calls and my son talking for my blog. Also as a mass storage device, it is actually easier to use the computer to record 10-50 messages a time to put into my "system".

I would give the device a 2 because this slowdown is such a problem for me, but other than that, the device is excellent. It is just slow all around because of the new computer system on it. If your a daily user like me, I would stay away from this device. Unfortunately I already gave away my VN-4100PC so I will be looking for another device and send this one back. - Olympus Digital Recorders - Digital Recorder - Voice Recorder - Olympus'

Swiss Army - swiss army

IF you are looking for a simple professional looking watch for work and daily use. This is it! I needed a watch with a seconds hands so that narrowed down my choices. I have owned this for over 4 years and it looks as good as new. The original wristband is extremely comfortable but just gave way after years of constant use - in all weather. Victorinox Swiss Army Men's Cavalry Leather Watch #24529

I purchased this watch on sale on another site. I had been looking for a cavalry model at a reasonable price, and finally found one. I like the simple lines of this design, and The Swiss Army watches are known for their quality. The only problem I have had was mentioned by another reviewer - one of the springbars that hold the band to the watch suddenly disappeared. I had it replaced by the watch kiosk at a local mall for two bucks, and life went on. I have a small collection of watches consisting of Seiko, Citizen eco-drive, Stauer, Swiss Legend, Invicta and Tissot, but this is my favorite for every-day wear. It's light on the wrist, easy to read and nice looking.

Money well spent.

This is not a bad watch for the price. The exception with my watch is that the pin that holds the band on the watch keeps popping out. I've almost lost the watch three times. Either I have a defective piece or the Swiss Army people need to add more strength the the pin's tension. The seller was kind enough to say they would fix the problem but I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping and the wait for return. Oh yeah, if you have less than perfect eyesight don't expect to be able to read the date. It's tiny. A magnifier over the date as I've seen on Wenger Swiss Army watches would solve the problem. Other than that the watch is not too small or too large and holds its own with jeans as well as a sport jacket. - Swiss Army'

Casual Watch - watches, large watch

I own a couple Invicta watches and I can say they're my favorite watches among my collection. They are good looking, elegant and well made (especially the slim series)

I ordered this one recently, after reviewing the product description and its dimensions, I knew it would be a big watch... which is fine as nowadays this is style commonly used. When I received this I was shocked by the size of the box it came in, it was not the average yellow box from Invicta but a pretty big yellow box. I was relieved when I got the watch out of it and wore it.

The quality of the watch is what you can expect from an Invicta, the design is pretty cool and very good looking (though it may be too thick to wear with a long sleeved shirt), the face includes both the day of the week and day of the month.

To set it up (as this information is not included in the box), the crown needs to be turned counterclockwise to set the day of the week and clockwise to set both the hour and the day of the month. It is important to note that there is a quick setup button above the crown, you can click on it with a pen and what it will do is change the day of the month on a one by one basis so you don't have to turn the crown endless times until you reach the desired date.

I have included a picture to give you an idea of how this looks, other than the pictures included by Amazon, it is big but I love the way it looks. Invicta Men's 0764 II Collection Black Dial Black Leather Watch

This thing is massive. The description is accurate in it's sizing, the issue is that the band and curvature of the watch are designed for someone who is proportionate to the size of the watch. If you have huge wrists and want a watch that will not look like a silly toy when worn, or you are an average sized person who wants to wear a clock large enough to immobilize your wrist, this is for you. If you are a normal sized person with average or smaller than average wrists who just wants to join in the over-sized watch trend, you need to look elsewhere.

A comment from the manufacturer reminded me of this review today so I thought I would post an update:

Since realizing that this watch (while being very cool looking) would look completely ridiculous on my wrist, I gave it to a very large friend in return for a favor he did for me, he was very excited about it as he has a tough time finding fashionable watches that are large enough that don't look like they came out a kid's meal in comparison to the size of his wrist. So while I did not get a watch that I could personally enjoy, it still went to a good home where it could be worn and appreciated.

It's a big watch but not ridiculous big. The leather band is thick which is very nice, but a bit stiff. It doesn't look too expensive, but for $59.99, leather band and long warranty is ok. It has a casual look to it. It doesn't weight much which is a plus.,

Very nice watch for the money and exactly what I wanted. This watch has a huge dial and nice leather strap. It is very easy to read. I dropped my old watch and it broke. This one is a replacement and seems to be much sturdier. I have found this watch to be very well made and it looks good on my wrist. I am glad I purchased it.

This is my second Invicta watch and won't be my last. This watch has a Large Face but it's is very "light"

My other Invicta has a large face and it's heavy (I love that one as well) The 0764 II watch is very stylish and elegant but

yet simple and inexpensive. I'm very pleased with it. Note: Setting the day of the week and the date of the month was tricky.

To set the Hour and the day of the week, turn the dial clockwise and to set the day of the month, push a pin in the tiny

hole located above the turn dial. Great Tip another reviewer provided

This is a great, solid watch.

I bought it for myself (I'm Female) for the "oversized watch look" and I just love it, wear it almost everywhere.

Very nicely made and I love the leather band. I haven't figured out how to set the day of the week or the day of the month yet, will need to read the manual but the time setting is really simple.

Very nice watch for the selling price, but as one another review said, the watch is "big", but very well builded.

Think about size before buying, and the other model color (model # 0763), otherwise, you will be happy with this purchase !!

Nice watch but way too big for someone with girly-man wrists like me. Compared to some other Invictas, this one appeared larger than average but reasonable. It was still huge. I would have had to have punched the equivalent of two new holes in band and case still would have exceeded width of my wrist by about a centimeter. It would be helpful if they had better display of how it looked on maybe 3 different wrist types.

I am not sure why this watch was on such a sale (almost 89% off), but I am so glad I acted quick and picked this up before it became unavailable!

Several people have mentioned its size, but I think its perfect. The size of this watch says you meant to put it on, not like some skinny watch that doubles as an 80s jelly braclet and also happens to tell time.

I wear it on my left wrist so the setting wheel digs into the skin now and then, but nothing to get derailed about. I was going to buy another one for my Dad for Fathers Day, but I see they are sold out. Bummer. - Large Watch - Invicta - Watches'

Skylink - garage door opener, skylink

I purchased the 69N for our Villa in the Caribbean, they work fine for years.

It was a little challenging to get the right replacement battery.

It's easy to program, a code inside and then the right frequency.

Great product, it works from about 100 ft away. Skylink 69P Universal Garage Door Remote Control

First I purchased the Skylink Transmitter G6MR since it was "100%" compatible with my Overhead Door Company opener. It IS NOT. I was told by skylink support to go by a 12 volt adapter for the receiver or get the model 69N that would work with my current Model 100A receiver.

So, I returned the G6MR and ordered the 69N and guess what. It is not compatible with the U100! According to the first support tech it is, but the second one says they mad a mistake. So I have to make another return to amazon and buy a model 66C!

Just not worth all the aggravation.

David

My new car does not have Homelink capability and I was looking for a small garage door remote that would be compatible with my DIP switch Genie garage door opener. I wanted the device to be small enough to fit up in my sunglass compartment as to be convenient and unconspicuous. I was a bit worried given the age of my opener it might not be compatible, but thought I would give it a try. It was very easy to "program". The instructions were clear and it works like a charm. In fact, it has a longer range than the original remotes that came with the opener. I plan to buy a couple more to replace the original remotes. Great product. Well worth the money.

I too had an early 90s model Genie garage door opener that was huge and bulky and very retro looking with multi-color buttons. When I went to Sears to try to find a replacement, the salesman actually laughed when I showed it to him. After telling me that I had no options to replace my opener with a keychain remote, I went to the web and only purchased this opener because of another review. I had to read through the instructions for this opener a few times, but was able to get this opener working within about 10 mins.

Have a Craftsman 1/2HP Garage Door Opener model 139.53970SRT manufactured 9/2000 with 'RED' learn button and no DIP switches. 3/2011 purchased the Skylink 69P remote to replace our 2nd Craftsman remote (model 139.53859) which was damaged beyond repair. Was able to successfully get the Craftsman opener programmed for the Skylink 69P, but was NOT able to successfully add the still working Craftsman remote (139.53879) at the same time. Was able to program the Craftsman opener to 'learn' the Craftsman remote, or the Skylink 69P, but not both at the same time. We need two functional remotes. Called and discussed issue with Skylink customer service. They agreed that this has been a problem with some Craftsman openers. Don't know why. I wish this issue had been included in the product description so it wouldn't have been a surprise. Skylink assured me that the Craftsman opener would successfully operate with 'two' Skylink remotes. So, I purchased a second Skylink 69P to replace the still functioning Craftsman remote. Was SUCCESSFUL in getting Craftsman opener to 'learn' and operate with both Skylink 69P remotes. Total cost of two Skylink 69P remotes is slightly less than cost for one Craftsman remote. All is well that ends well.

Had no trouble programming the remote.. you do need to read the instructions, though. The remote is nice and small, and has worked very reliably. I am considering buying more to replace all of our old original "full-size" remotes. - Opener - Garage Door Opener - Remote - Skylink'
