This is a very nice cd player for the price (I paid $24.99 from Amazon). I got it for my husband so he could listen to his CDs while he was working in the garage or outside or while he was doing his exercises. It works very well, the sound is rich and full for a little, inexpensive player and doesn't sound tinny at all. It is easy to use and is not big and bulky - very portable. Since it was so inexpensive, it doesn't even matter if he manages to scratch it up or drop a tool on it or something.



Also, it is a nice shape - not like those strangely shaped round cd players that look like bug's heads and the speakers look like bug's eyes!



As an added benefit, it has a port to plug in your MP3 player so you can listen to music or audio books you have on your MP3 player as well.

We bought this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She LOVES it. She has her own radio, and uses it nightly to fall asleep to music. We've burned a variety of CD's for her, and she thinks she's sooooo cool picking out her own music and taking the radio with her to different rooms in the house to play music. The sound quality is acceptable - to be expected - we didn't buy this with audiophile interests in mind. It's inexpensive, VERY simple to use, and the battery life is good. Our daughter had the CD functions figured out after about three days with no instruction from us. The styling is pretty nice - kind of simple and clean. It doesn't look like some transformer-toy looking boom-box, and takes up very little counter space. Great for listening to CD's at low-volume levels (office environments). The tuner is OK.

I bought this to listen to audio books in bed, and for this purpose it is just right. I'm hard of hearing, so the quality must be a little better than reasonably good or I can't understand what is being said. The sound quality is perfectly adequate for a spoken word recording. I don't know how it is for music.



There are no frills for the CD player, which is another plus for my purpose. It's easy for me to turn off without having to turn on a light or even sit up. I can just reach over to press the play/stop button, which I can distinguish by touch, and turn off the power using the switch on the side (also easy to distinguish by touch).



It looks pretty decent on the headboard shelf too. I'm pleased to have found what I need for such a low price.

I ordered this player to use with my MP3 player while I am on my computer. I don't use headphones because I want to be able to hear other things happening around me. My only disappointment is the remote control. It only controls the CD functions - prog, repeat, play/pause, skip, and stop. Everything else has to be done on the unit itself. Overall, this is a great player for the money. I am very happy with this purchase.

The first unit I received was defective. If anyone has a problem with buying on line, Amazon.com makes the buying and return process easy and fool proof. I returned the unit with no cost to me for shipping and ordered a new GPX CD, AM/FM player/radio. This GPX unit works to my complete satisfaction.

This item has been ok. Easy enough to use. The CD player plays for awhile then starts to skip or gets hung up on me repeatedly regardless of which CD I am playing. This has been a hassle. I like the slim design.

First, I want to note that this is a super CD player for the price as far as sound quality and design(we put it in a kitchen with black and white kitchen with stainless steel accents). But there is one MAJOR problem if you don't plan to use batteries - the cord falls out of the back of the player very easily. If you want to scoot or move it even a tiny bit on a counter or table, the cord is going to fall out. Count on it. If you use batteries, you get around this problem but who wants to be limited to ONLY batteries? If you run out of batteries and are somewhere with electricity, it is nice to have a player that has a reliable cord. I rated everything high on this one except the ease of use because that cord issue is so annoying.



Also, the remote control is VERY tiny and could be easily lost. We keep ours in a nearby drawer.



Now for the PROS:



1. I haven't found a player that has the same sound quality for the price.



2. It looks very sleek and has a nice, clean look. It could fit in both modern and retro designed rooms. I can't quite picture it with country decor, though.



3. It is light and portable. But either have battery backup or put it somewhere you aren't likely to move it.



4. It can connect to other devices but we haven't tested this out yet so I can't give any feedback about that.



5. Nice features include the ability to skip tracks or keep a song repeating.



6. Equally solid radio station reception, whether AM or FM.



Final analysis? I am basically happy with this CD player and absolutely love the way it complements our kitchen decor. The CDs fit easily into the player. If you can put up with the small remote and annoying cord issue, this could be a best buy! - Cd Player - Cd Radio Player - Boombox - Gift Idea'

I was reluctant at first to buy this battery because other reviewers thought it was too heavy, and it lifted the computer up too high in the back. I have found after using this product for a week that it has worked extremely well. The battery lasts at least four hours using this to surf the web or watch movies. I normally carry my computer in a pack with the original battery and the 12 cell, and I don't think it is too heavy. The battery sticks out under the bottom lifting the computer up. The tilt of the keyboard gives me more air space under the computer, and I like it for typing. I charge it up and run it out. Bought this product more than a month ago despite the reviews about the loose fit and bad charge. Initially, I loved the long battery life and didn't mind the extra weight and bulge. Later, I realized that the battery didn't 'click' when I placed it in, and it would easily pop out. So, I went online hunting to solve my issue and found a great youtube video explaining how to make it 'click' and lock. (I have an HP G60) The problem is, to make the battery lock in, A LOT of pressure needs to be put on the battery itself and the sliding tab-thingy that pops the battery in and out needs to be pushed HARD to the lock side. Press down on the battery where the hinges are, push the slide tab with force, and CLICK! Battery locked in, no loose battery, and long life! I love it and the price is way better than paying more than $100.

i like this battery, i have an hp dv5 and my previous battery (that Bestbuy's warranty center said was running at its regular charge/discharge times) would die after an hour of streaming movies online (in balanced power mode) this battery under the same setting (first time charge) lasted about 3 hours, I'm currently running off its second charge and it seems to be running longer than that as the battery is calibrated. HP's battery check came back all clear no bad cells or any other problems. ALSO i failed to see this in the features area but this battery DOES have the charge status indicator (that looks similar to Xbox 360'c circle of lights but white lights, not green) and external charging port.

so far I'd say this was a great buy. oh and for the size, it makes my model laptop stand up about and inch in the back so its angled but i have no problem with that. and some review(s) stated that upon jiggling this battery their computer would loose power/restart, I have tried to make this problem reoccur on my laptop (again, dv5t model) and failed to do so, even went as far as to pick it up and shake it a little, all good there (not too hard though, its a laptop not a dog toy.)

So I went against my better judgment, thinking "There are more 5 star ratings than 1 star ratings, so it must be OK overall", and purchased this battery. A few things: 1) The shipping time was not good. It took them 5 days to process & ship my order for 1 battery. 2) When I got the battery, which arrived in fine condition and properly packaged, I attempted to pop it into my laptop. Instead of clicking right in, I had to jostle the eject button back & forth while simultaneously doing the same with the battery. I shouldn't have to jerry-rig my new battery just to get it to fit. 3) I charged the battery from 2pm on Saturday until 9am on Sunday (that's 19 hours for those keeping score) and, during that time, it had periods where it would say "Plugged in, not charging" and I'd have to restart the computer. It would start charging again, then fall back to "not charging." So, after 19 hours of expected charging, the battery was still only at 91%. That may sound like a high percentage, but the packaging that came with the battery indicated it would be fully charged in no more than 10 hours, so to not be at 100% after almost double the recommended time is unacceptable.



So I figure "This is as good as it's going to get" and unplug my AC adaptor to use the laptop in our bedroom. BAM! The laptop dies like there is no battery plugged in to it, even though the laptop clearly recognizes there is, based on the indicator in the system tray. If you read the other 1 star reviews (which I promise you would be 0 stars if Amazon allowed it), you'll see this is a VERY common problem with this battery.



DO NOT DISCOUNT THOSE REVIEWS OR THIS ONE. IF YOU BUY THIS BATTERY, YOU WILL REGRET IT. I hate to say that, as I like to believe most companies try to produce a quality product, but there is no quality to be found in this cruel joke. Bite the bullet, spend the extra few bucks and get a replacement directly from HP. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to start the return process on this piece of junk...

This battery took forever to charge the first time. Then it jumped from about 60% to 100% when I wasn't looking. I checked the battery health. Linux says the battery is 100%, HP says that one or more cells are bad. The next charge it got to 80% and then stopped charging. I finally just started using my old stock battery again, because this one weighs more than I do and doesn't really last all that much longer.

This battery fit my DV4 just great! It is a 12-cell battery, so it extends past the laptop bottom, creating an incline. I actually like the incline although most people on these reviews didn't. I read a lot of the reviews first and most of them said negative things about the fit or the incline. The incline makes it easier to type and creates ventilation under the laptop. I don't know about the other customers, but it fits perfectly with my DV4.



My original battery needed to be replaced because it was misused by my various family members. It ran out of power unplugged in 5 minutes! I definitely love that this battery lasts more than 4 hours on a full battery.

I received the item very quickly as promised, no worries there. used the device for 1 week and 1 of the 2 sides stopped working. I did receive an email from the seller after advising my situation, I was impressed by the fast response. this may or may not have been a factory defect. Bottom line, is the unit broke, for whatever reason. This dual charger is OK for the low amp charging jobs like GPS, Bluetooth and Cellphone auto charging. However, give it a bigger job like an 8 amp draw mini moto air pump (for pumping air into the tires) and it blew this 12 Volt Two Way DC Car Charger into a smelly mess (along with my cig lighter fuse). FYI-The Scosche 12 volt twin adapter is the same as this one.

I got this product to charge my phone, use an FM transmitter and use a GPS system in any order. I have not had any problems of the unit overloading like the other reviewers have described. I would just use caution before plugging in anything that draws a lot of power. One thing you need to consider is that it may need to be positioned vertically as in my car it blocks the stick shift. But not a big deal. Overall a good deal and get the job done.

i like this device. I like the slow charge capability. and it does indeed reduce the output if 2 items are being charged. That said, the idea is fantastic. My problem is that the device keeps popping out of the cigarette outlet. All of a sudden I notice that my Garmin is on battery or my bluetooth is not charging, etc. Wish it were more solid into the charge slot.

A simple and easy to use 12 Volt splitter. Used it to power my GPS/FM Transmitter or GPS/recharge my phone/PSP and it works perfectly.



Other customers complained that their splitters went bust while using trying to use it with electric pumps, and this is why I bough a couple of them at once, but I think with my phone/GPS/mp3 player/PSP I'm safe. If I'll need to recharge my laptop I'll pb just plug it straight in the trunk as there's a 12V outlet.



Build quality could be a little better, but considering the price, it's ok.

ok so i don't know why they even make this thing. i deliver pizzas and was using it so i can keep my gps plugged in as well as my car topper sign. within 2 minutes the whole device started smoking, burning itself and the fuse with it. i read reviews that it doesn't work with high powered the like an air pump but common... a gps and a few lights to light up a pizzahut sign... don't buy this.

This product does what it says it does. I use it to play my fm transmitter and charge my GPS at the same time. It does both easily. No problems. Only thing that surprised me about the product was the size. This device probably sticks out 2 inches from the lighter and then the items plugged into it also extend two inches each. I have a Grand AM and so my lighter is right in front of my emergency break. Everything plugged in barely fits in the space, and only with quite a bit of finagling. Just keep the size in mind when you purchase the item.'

Maybe I didn't read the description correctly, thought the mouse would be full size, but the notebook size wasn't a letdown. I use the mouse for an HTPC set up and I can't complain. I use a long range bluetooth EDR Class 1 dongle to get the reach I need. The build is extremely good, the scroll wheel is solid with rubber grips, the DPI button is terrific. Setting up the bluetooth connection to the computer was odd at first due to lack of a dedicated bluetooth button, however, just hold the left and right mouse buttons for 5 seconds and the pairing will start. The rubberized material on the top of the pad, matte areas, aid with gripping too. My only complaint is my nephew who broke the last fullsize mouse, and with this one being notebook sized, it'll be easier for him to grab. Otherwise, this is a great mouse.



Also works on the leather couch where I usually watch movies on the HTPC in the living room, in case other buyers might question the need for a mouse pad. Connectland CL-MOU23014 Bluetooth Wireless Optical Mouse

Best mouse ever! It packs more or better features than other mice, yet at an amazingly low price! No other mice exists currently that is wireless, is bluetooth (so no need to carry a dongle or use up a USB port), offers 5 buttons, AND is travel-sized. Plus adjustable DPI, on/off switch, ergonomic shape, reasonable wakeup time, easy warranty exchange, and low price.



I can't ever go back to living without 5 buttons again (great for browsing Forward and Backward, as well as gaming)! The two side buttons are positioned comfortably for quick pressing, too.

The shape is also perfect. The mouse is compact but the back is plump (roughly 3.6 inches long, 2.3 inches wide, and 1.5 inches high), so it fits perfectly into my palm, eliminating hand fatigue. Good size for everyday use for small hands, but travel-sized for people with bigger hands. The batteries (included) last a few months even without using the Off switch.



The mouse turned out to be reliable. I had it replaced twice due to my computer no longer recognizing it, only to figure out eventually that the fault was with Microsoft Windows bluetooth, not the mice. Read on for details.



The only problem with the mouse is that the provided information and manual are sparse, making it hard to decipher the various indicator signals and troubleshoot the mouse, and not even mentioning the manufacturer warranty.



DECIPHERING THE LED: It turns out that the mouse uses the same indicator light for all 3 purposes, which is confusing since the manuanl doesn't detail this. The blue indicator light for DPI is also used as a "pairing mode" indicator and battery-low indicator. Here's what the light means:

* Continuous blinking means the batteries are low

* Continuously on means it is in pairing mode. The mouse will give up and the light will go off if the computer doesn't find it after a few seconds.

* Blinking a few times, then stopping, indicates which of the 3 DPI settings it is using. The faster the blinks, the higher the DPI.



WARRANTY: The warranty is not stated anywhere, which is unfortunate because it does exist (at least 1 year according to vendor websites). The mouse is actually made by Syba: []

WINDOWS WON'T RECOGNIZE BLUETOOTH MICE ANYMORE ISSUE:

It turned out that these mice weren't defective--turns out that Windows 7's registry gets inexplicably corrupted from time to time and won't recognize or pair with bluetooth mice anymore! (I actually went out and bought a Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000 to verify this.) (To deal with this problem, I have to regularly create System Restore points to backup the registry, then restore to an earlier point whenever the bluetooth pairing stops working. Has happened twice so far in a few months!) But we should blame Microsoft Windows, not the mouse.



So for those of you whose mouse is longer recognized by your computer, first make sure that it is not actually a problem with the operating system. Switching DPIs can also help with using the mouse on different surfaces and software. Haven't experienced the jiggling problem.



In sum, I would buy this mouse over and over again!

This is an amazing mouse, especially for the price. I would also like to note that I try to use rechargeable batteries for all of my electronics, and this mouse works GREAT with them. Some other wireless mice use too much power to be able to use rechargeable batteries, but this one does just fine. The mouse came with almost no instructions, but it is VERY simple. I held the 2 mouse buttons for 5 seconds, and the mouse connected to my computer. That was it. Some people have been complaining about the mouse lag when it hasn't been in use for a while, but I found it to not be a problem. There is a split-second lag when the mouse hasn't been used for 3-5 minutes, and about a 2 second lag when it hasn't been used for longer than that, but I hardly notice it. Cordless Phone Battery

I ordered 2 of these batteries for my Uniden cordless phone system. The batteries arrived faster than I expected for normal shipping( 2-3 days) which was great. The first battery I used held a charge for all of 2 days before dying. The second battery has been going on well so far, 1 month into the purchase, but I'm not confident that it will last. If the cost of mailing these back weren't higher than the price of the batteries, I would have returned these. BT-446 BP-446 Cordless phone battery for Uniden

Do not buy these knock off batteries. They do not last but a few days and also charge very hot, probably will damage the phone over the long run. I threw these out and got the real deal from batterymart.com, they cost $16 shipped and last over a week before needing a charge.

I bought a couple of these for our Uniden cordless phones, since they were so much cheaper than the ones at Target, etc. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for... these held their charge for a week or so, and since then, have not re-charged. On the other hand, the Target-purchased battery does just fine; of the three handsets we have, only this one charges and holds its charge. The other two handsets drain rapidly and take forever to re-charge. Don't waste your money.

Bought four of these in April 2009. All seemed to work at first, but two would not hold a charge any more after only a month. A 3rd lost the ability to hold a charge after about 6 months. The 4th is still going strong. A 25% hit ratio is not great.



I guess in this case, the old saw, "you get what you pay for" seems to hold true. Good luck with your battery purchases, as luck seems to be necessary ...



Keep in mind that the vendor MAY have changed battery suppliers since April 2009, so this review many not be relevant to the product the vendor ships today.

Initially I thought the batteries were great, worked fine for first couple of months. But starting from the 3rd month onwards, I can only use my phone for maximum of 30min, then the battery die. It looks like the battery can't hold the charge. I bought four of these, not sure what to do now. Total wastage of money. I checked my invoice, the company who sold this item through Amazon was "Tavas". May be this supplier is selling bad items, that Amazon can confirm.

I bought 4 of these batteries, and 2 of them were DOA. They can't be charged at all, for some reason. The two that do work don't seem to hold a charge as well as the original phone batteries. Very disappointed with this purchase, but it was very cheap (for a good reason).

These batteries make my Phones work just like they are new. Much better price than I have bought batteries for this phone before. The battery life is just as Long as the original. Comparable to the $20 battery I bought before....'

This shampoo scalp massage brush works great. Finger ring holder works flawlessly compared to others who have open ended rings that slip of your fingers. I got this one to replace one I bought from a barber years ago and its pretty similar in quality. The only difference is that the bristles on this one was a little shorter than the one I had. I use one for shampoo scalp massaging in the shower and another one to use as a hair brush. Again, this one was great and the vendor was kind enough to answer my email prior to me buying this item from them. I highly recommend this product and this vendor too.

Great if you're hair is getting a little thin. Massaging stimulates the scalp, gets the blood flowing and stimulates new hair growth. Besides, it just plain feels good. Got one from a friend a long time ago. It finally fell apart and I've been looking for them for ages. Love it.

The pictured items show a closed ring that you slip onto a finger to hold the brush which is more secure than the handle on the brushes that were sent that have two open half rings. The Chinese made products available today are much flimsier than the ones sold under the Goody hair products name that we bought many years ago.

Product shipped is not at all what is pictured. Cheap, hard, scallop-shaped plastic with no finger loop, but rather a two-finger open stirrup that pops off with each use. Very hard, non-flexible bristles, so stiff you couldn't possibly use them on your scalp. Even our dog wouldn't allow us to use it on her when we tried to salvage the purchase and use it as a dog scrubber for bathing her. The quality brings a whole new low to the stamp "Made In China", plus the seller has a NO RETURNS policy. Shame on the seller for deceiving buyers (update the photo to the item you're actually selling) and for not standing behind their product and allowing returns (you obviously know you're selling cheap, sub-standard products)...and shame on Amazon.com for allowing them to conduct business like this and take advantage of loyal Amazon customers.

I had been looking for a replacement for a shampoo scalp massage brush I accidentally left at a motel while traveling. I couldn't find one anywhere locally. I found this 6-pack on Amazon.com. I'm delighted to have these--and, I now have "spares" in case I lose one.

The picture of the brushes shows a ring that you put your finger through to hold the brush, but the ones I received were different. They have a plastic piece (wobbly, by the way) that you put two fingers under, which makes the brush harder to hold. I read a number of negative reviews about Canon's lens adapter and how its length is too short as the lens hits it while extending. I read a few positives about this one and for the most part they were right on. It's made of steel (feels heavy duty) and comes in 2 pieces, with another smaller ring that fits beautifully over my filter. I love it. I'm still wondering why Canon didn't get it right! 58mm Two Piece Lens Adapter for Canon Powershot G10, G11 (an alternative to the LA-DC58K)

This thing quite simply is perfect.



Its a 2 piece metallic adapter that hands down is the best deal for your G10 or G11.



We all know the cheap Canon one is plastic. And the other one available on that other website that everyone talks about is NO BETTER than this one.

It's a very simple two part adapter, as another reviewer wrote "it doesn't work on the G11"

is misleading. It works, yes it does vignette at 28mm, but only if you use both of the adapters

together. I don't use the zoom much, and most of my shots are at the wide angle setting, so I'll

just use the first part of the adapter "when" I need a filter. For the price I have no complaints.



There is another solution available on the net, but it requires buying 72mm filters, which are more expensive

than the 58mm this unit requires.

The actual product is a slightly different shape than the picture, but it has to be in order for both pieces to be 58mm. I guess they should have picked a different picture. :P Anywho, it works great and feels very sturdy. This left me wondering why the canon one is so expensive. Glad I picked this one over the other.

Such a great price - I wanted to take a 'chance' on it either way and it got overall better reviews than the other one anyway. Glad i picked it. Very happy with the product and it makes my camera look so much cooler! :P

Definitely recommend!

I am glad that this adapter is available at such a reasonable price. This metal adapter holds the tele lens attachment that I purchased recently firmly to the camera and just feels solid. It also doubles as a filter holder for 58mm sized filters. I haven't had an opportunity to use this feature yet but I know that I will.

My previous Canon camera (a PowerShot 620) used a Canon made adapter to add a Wide Angle lens attachment. The plastic adapter was always loose and felt flimsy. When I looked at the Canon adapter for the tele lens attachment for my G11 and saw that it was made of the same plastic that my original camera's adapter was made of, I quickly decided that this metal adapter for my current camera was the way to go.

I've had this same trouble with any adapters for the G10 and G11.

I wanted to use a polarizing filter. if using the 2 piece adapter it vignettes at 28mm. I tried usinf 1/2 of the adapter and that works for wide angle but if you zoom to far the lens hits the filter and the camera shuts down. I also had that problem with adapters like this one conecting a telescope eyepiec to my telescopes. shut down again/ it needs to be about an 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch longer.



if all you're interested in is WA shots then it's ok.
