Storage - storage, kayak storage

I purchased the Talic "Kayak Condo" from DBS, Inc. about a month ago. Delivery was very quick and the transaction was handled professionally. The product, Kayak Condo, holds two kayaks on the wall of my garage. It was pretty simple to install, took about an hour only because I took my time. It looks great and holds our kayaks high off the floor leaving plenty of room to store things under them (lawn mower, etc.). Everything seems very stable and loading/unloading is not difficult. I recommend the Kayak Condo to anyone with a kayak as an excellent storage option. By the way, while I bought a Kayak Condo to hold two kayaks, you can buy a kayak condo for a single kayak or for three kayaks. Beyond that you need to get another rack. Talic Kayak Condo 2

We are new to kayaking and were uncertain how to hang our boats in the garage. This really couldn't be any more simple to put up on the garage wall. Find a few studs and throw it up on the wall. Before long, your Kayaks will be displayed on the wall in a safe manner for you to ooh and aah at everytime you pull into the garage. I highly recommend this product. It's sturdy and the boats slide right in. There is even room left over to slide your paddles in so you don't really need anything else.

We have a three car garage and three cars! In other words, we have no place for kayaks! We ended up putting the two of them on a Talic Kayak Condo 2 and putting it on the wall above our pick up bed. We had to move the rack back so the boats would not hit the cab and we had to put it up high so the walls of the truck bed would not hit the boats. We simply back the truck in and stand in the bed with the boats and put them on the racks. We do the same thing to get them down. One of the kayaks is 50lbs and the other is 38lbs. so the lightest one goes on top--both are 12'. It isn't hard to do and sure gets the boats out of the way. We can put the paddles on the racks and the PFD's hang from them too.

As far as installing, my husband had a friend with tools over and they used a stud finder and tape measure to figure out how to hang them, then they used a drill. It took about an hour--mainly because of the tricky truck measurements.

These are nice looking racks and the webbing is gentle on the boats. - Storage - Kayak Storage'

Wood Working - wood working, handsaws

I grew up using these saws,My Dad,My Grandad,All God's (carpenter) children had one of these,,,,well, Not one of these,,, exactly. I still have one that may be 30 years old. Grandad may have used it, I don't know, but I remember Dad using it. Dulls quickly. Hard to find anyone to sharpen it. So I bought one of these a few years ago, the packaging says it stays sharp longer and cuts more aggressively. And I found this to be very true. The aggressive cut could be considered by the old-timers to be a fault, it does leave a good deal of tear-out. But the majority of the time I'm not using this for trim. For trim I use the old quick dull, close tooth antique. Also a good buy, is the shorter version of this saw. It fits in most tool boxes and is very handy. Either saw is good for finishing a pocket cut or an intersecting cut,,or even hacking off the occasional 2x4. I've even used it as a rasp to knock the end off of a protuding top plate at wall intersections. Useful tool, if you have an electric circular saw, you need one of these. Make your Grandad proud. Meanwhile, I'm learning how to resharpen the old antique. Stanley 20-065 26-Inch 12 Points Per Inch ShortCut Saw - Wood Working - Handsaws - Hand Tools - Coping Saw'

Samsung Lcd - 42 inch, 120hz

If you don't mind the 60hz refresh, this TV is a huge deal! I've had another 60hz Samsung 46" for about 4 years and have no problems. This TV is excellent and Amazon shipping was gentle and quick. This was the first TV to buy online. No problems whatsoever. Samsung LN46D550 46-Inch 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV (Black)

Looked at several TVs, but based on previous purchases, Samsung has always been above the rest in quality and value. The Samsung LN46D550 is no different. Great picture, sound, and features. Glad I went with Samsung and definitely recommend this TV.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SAMSUNG 46" TV LN46D550K1 THAT I BOUGHT, IT IS EVERYTHING I WANTED IN AN HDTV. THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND HAD FREE SHIPPING. IT ARRIVED ON TIME AND IN GREAT CONDITION. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS TV AND AMAZON.COM

Nice TV. Great price. I look at TVs in the stores and can't believe what people pay! The delevery was extra nice. HOw can you beat it when they will loaded on their own truck and drive it right to your front door....no hassles for me.

I decided to purchase this TV after being unhappy with a LED edge-lit that I bought, taking advantage of Amazon's generous return policy. Although, this one is CCFL and 60HZ it's picture is very bright and clear. It has a nice selection of inputs including 4 HDMI where 3 are available for wall mounts. It also offers DLNA which I haven't tried yet but its a great option. If you're just looking for a great LCD with a good picture and none of the frills like internet apps this a great option especially at the price point. - 120hz - Led - 42 Inch - 46 Inch'

High Quality Suit - darya trading, great value

This is a beatifully made suit of fine materials at an unbelieveably good price. True quality. It fits my 46R husband beautifully. i told him it was a good looking suit but he ignored me until he saw a picture of himself in it and exclaimed, "That is a good looking suit! "Couldn't be happier. I'm telling everyone i see about it. Thank You!!! Signature Collection 3 Button 2pc Mens Suit Italian Tropical Light Weight Fabric Super 140s Hand Tailored Year Round Use Business Suit Charcoal Gray (42 Regular)

The tailoring was very good (a 46R fit me very nicely without alterations), the fabric is superb, and the customer service is very good. I've recommended this company to several people already. I'm very impressed.

This is a great suit, worth the price. Looks much more expensive. Many people have commented on it. The only negative is that one of the buttons is kinds loose on the pants. That's to be expected though, not everything is perfect...I'll take a loose button any day considering what other things could have gobe wrong. Again, great suit - worth the money! - Great Value - Suit - Darya - Darya Trading'

Hp Dv5000 Battery - hp laptop battery, laptop batteries

If you have a laptop computer that is 3 years old and have been unhappy with the performance of the battery, replace the battery. My machine didn't run more than an hour on its original battery, and that had degraded to the point where it would only run about 15 minutes. With this battery it runs two hours in constant 'business' use, recharging in a similar period while being used. Highly recommended. New Laptop Battery for COMPAQ PRESARIO M2000 M2100 M2200 M2300 M2400 V2000 V4000 V5000 B1000 B1900 B3000 C300 C500; HP Pavilion DV1000 DV4000 DV5000 ZE2000; P/N 395752-002 HSTNN-LB09

This battery tips the laptop up a bit. We actually find this angle more comfortable than when flat for long user hours. It also makes the laptop slightly heavier than with the regular battery, but our laptop isn't featherweight as it is, so we really don't care about a couple of extra ounces.

We feel more confident buying the actual HP brand long-life battery after reading the cheaper knock-offs are hit-and-miss as to TRUE longer life.

We are VERY happy with this one, and got it at a much better price than from other sources.

I have an HP Pavilion dv5000 that I got from a friend. The original battery lasted a good...20 minutes (it was 5 years old). On its first charge, this battery lasted AT LEAST 2.5 hours. Not very good by today's standards, but still a drastic improvement. It's a 6-cell battery after all, so logically the 12-cell should last about twice as long. This battery does not protrude from the bottom of the laptop, and I'm almost certain the 12-cell would. - Laptop Batteries - Laptop Battery - Laptop - Hp Laptop Battery'

Apple Tablet - ipad cover, ipad

I am more compelled to write this review to dispell the negative comments than anything else. I bought this cover a few weeks ago, and find it to be fine. The Ipad does not slip out IF you snap the closing loop. It has two positions, one when the cover is open and the other when the cover is closed, both to keep the Ipad from slipping out. It can clearly be seen in the picture in use in both positions. And one pocket is used for a business card, etc, so if you leave your Ipad somewhere, and people are honest, they can contact you to get it back.

I like the snazzy color, and it's already been on numerous flights with me, holding up the Ipad for viewing very nicely, thank you. Deluxe Leather Case with Built-in Stand for Apple iPad (Red)

I've been very pleased with this case, especially considering the reasonable price tag. The leather is nice, the stitching is well done, and the design is great. It's slim, not bulky, and yet it protects my iPad very nicely. Closes securely, and the stand allows for easy viewing when open.

Actual case is ok as plastic cases go. There is a small piece of elastic which stops the iPad moving or falling out which I guess other reviewers did not find.

But the fact remains it is plastic but is described as leather which I'm pretty sure there's a law against!!

I got it on line. It said it would come with a screen cover and it did not. It said it was real leather and it wasn't. My ipad slipped out of it and hit the floor, and this is when I decided it is not what I needed. Luckily the company accepted it without problems.

I've got 3 cases exactly like this for my iPad and I love them. They're all around $10 each so I can buy 6 or more for the price of just ONE other iPad case elsewhere. I like to switch colors anyway. I've got black, red and purple. I'm still going to buy a brown, blue and pink. The stand is the handiest thing in the world! I use it constantly. All the ads for these cases (there's tons of sellers for this same identical case) say it's leather. The only thing that makes me think they aren't is the price. But then again I've seen this exact case for $35 so shop around. I suspect they're all coming from the same factory in China and some sellers are selling them for $8and some for $35. I truly love these cases though. If someone GAVE me a free Apple or DoDo case I'd toss it in the closet and use my kickstand cases.

If you're looking for this type of iPad case, this is the item for you. Look at all the items on Amazon, you'll find similar cases at various prices. Ours came from the Iphone-Ipad Case Outlet and is a great value. The red leather makes this a distinctive addition to your iPad. The stand really works, and helps put the screen at a good viewing angle when it is on your lap.

I bought this case when our head of campus IT surprised me with an iPad and I wanted to get a case pronto before I scratched or dropped my new toy, but didn't want to overspend until I figured out what case would best suit my personal workflow.

The color is a rather strange shade of red and the stitching is uneven, but other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. For under $10 this is a steal. It is well-padded and the iPad feels secure in it. The prop holds the iPad up at a perfect reading angle. As another reviewer noted, the small pocket inside is perfect for a business card. The only way the iPad would fall out of this is if I shook the case. A small magnet and a snap ensure that the cover stays snug. Plus when it's closed it could easily be mistaken for a day-planner or notepad, as someone at work observed -- a plus if you're somewhere that you don't want to shout "I'm holding an expensive computing toy."

Great little number, and WAY cheaper than a 'real' Mac cover.

I'm using it right now for typing this out on my iPad, and its perfect. Also great for watching movies hands-free

Sturdy and well made

Great color

For the price, this is a pretty decent cover for the iPad and I actually like how the stand works because it is fairly secure and adjustable. It isn't leather but it at least it seems to be reasonably well constructed. My real problem with this (and all similar cases) is that it doesn't do a good job of protecting the iPad if you drop it. The corners of the ipad are complete exposed. I know. The ipad case slipped from my hand and hit straight on the edge. Fortunately, the iPad suffered only a very minor scratch but it convinced me that this wasn't enough.

Recommend this case. I just purchased this from Amazon because its price was so great. Figured that it was a low risk purchase. Turns out its stylish, the color is fun, the quality is good and it looks a whole lot more expensive than its price. It also does what it says it will - stands up, protects the ipad, has a good cutout for the side button, doesn't interfere with the WIFI signal and the USB port is accessible. - Apple Ipad - Ipad Cover - Ipad - Case'

Extended Warranty - kindle 3, extended warranty

This warranty extends the default warranty coverage to 2 years. Translation: if the Kindle came with a one year warranty, buying it will give you TWO years of total warranty coverage, NOT three.

IF, after paying for coverage and reading the terms you don't agree, you have 60 DAYS to cancel and get your money back. This is a good thing.

As far as warranties go, this one is okay. Very much in line with what most electronics warranties provide these days. After (a long) while, you receive the actual contract in the mail and it's all spell out on one page, on the back of the 'certificate of coverage'. Going through the legalese, this is what gets covered and how.

- The amount of coverage is limited to the amount you paid to purchase the product (minus shipping and taxes)

- You are covered for operational and accidental damage but not covered if you abuse your Kindle.

- They will fix and replace your broken Kindle and your replacement may be a refurbished model or a newer model or you may receive 'your money back' if they can't do either.

- If your Kindle breaks three times you get a replacement and coverage ends at that time.

- There can be only ONE replacement under the plan (see above).

In addition, you will not be covered if:

- your dog (animals) or insects damaged your product

- it was stolen

- it mysteriously disappeared

- you were in a war zone

- you were outside the US

- you used your Kindle in ways not intended or your modified it

The plan does not cover scratches, cracks or any other cosmetic issues for as long as your Kindle keeps working.

As far as service is concerned. Once you contact the provider, they will ship you a replacement Kindle if yours stopped working without waiting for you to send them the damaged item. They will take your credit card number and ship you the replacement and a prepaid postage label you to use with the return. For as long as you send the broken Kindle within 30 days, they will not charge your credit card. If you don't, you WILL be charged for the replacement.

My only issue, as other reviewers noted was their slowness to actually acknowledge the transaction after I purchased the warranty through Amazon. Eventually, I received an email assuring me that the warranty was in effect and a few days later the paper contract arrived in the mail so all is okay now.

I would rate this plan as 'good' because it's backed by Amazon, they will ship a replacement without waiting for your broken Kindle and because they clearly spell out the warranty terms on a one-page contract. It's fair to note that this plan, adding about 1/3 to the initial purchase price, is not 'cheap'. When deciding to go for it I decided for myself that the expense was worth the extra year of 'peace of mind'.

It's 4 stars, mainly for the initial hassle. 2-Year Extended Warranty for Kindle (6" Display, Wi-Fi, Latest Generation), U.S. customers only

Why would you pay almost $40 for a one year extension? Amazon should think about using the same approach as Home Depot. Their extended warranties do not kick in until AFTER the manufactures warrenty expires. That gives the buyer a great bargin with a full 3 years of warrenty coverage!

Had the warranty for the 1st gen kindle - was told that they didn't cover it anymore because it was 'obsolete'. At the rate they're changing them, 2 years from now they'll have 3 other versions.

The 3rd gen will be obsolete. Why bother?

My own warranty is: "take care of my Kindle" and "stash away 40 bucks". Amazon gives a one year warranty which is plenty of time in case something goes technically wrong. After that, if it goes out from manufacture defects and not my own fault (not likely), I would take the 40 bucks I would have spent on the warranty and add another 100 and get the latest edition, because there WILL be an updated version in no less than 2 years, guaranteed. This is history talking. Its been 3 years, and there have been 3 editions released. And they only get better. But if you want to stick with your outdated edition, it will be WAY cheaper on Amazon, eBay or a retailer. I do not recommend paying for this.

Hope this helped..

The warranty is two years from essentially date of purchase. Since the product comes with a default one year manufacturer warranty, really this covers just ONE additonal year. For 40 bucks, I am willing to take the chance in the 2nd year. By then, the cost of the KINDLE may decrease, thus making it worthwhile just to re-purchase it.

It is misleading. It offers protection for only 1 year after Amazon's initial guarantee of 1 year. There are also restrictions on what is covered and there is no way to see what these were before buying the warranty. I had to cancel my purchase.

Just received my thrid Kindle in less than 6 weeks. I will wait a year before I decide if the Amazon engineers produce a Kindle that will work properly with the expensive cover that seems to damage the Kindle causing it to freeze and repeatedly reboot before I would even consider purchasing a this warranty. The one year warranty included with your new Kindle includes accidental dropping, I was asked repeatedly if I had dropped it. I hadn't. I bought the expensive cover...

The Kindle isn't the expensive factor- it's all the books purchased. In very little time the Kindle owner will have purchased books that far exceed the price of the Kindle. Amazon knows this and will want to you to have a Kindle that works so they can keep selling books, magazines and newspapers. - Extended Warranty - Kindle 3 - Ebook - Kindle'
