Considering how bad the iPhone's battery life is, I am surprised Apple gave such a small chord to charge it, since you'd need to use it while charging so much.

I got this to fix that issue. Now I have nice long charging chord for my iPhone USB 2.0 Extension Cable Type A Male to Type A Female 6 ft, Black

Got two of these about a year ago. They work great as long as you tie it into another line that isn't too long. I never had a single problem with these in the year I used them. I just need more of them as now I have more tech in my house.

Just as simple as it seems! Remember if you are trying to go quite a distance, your USB cable needs to be less than 15' total or else you risk losing signal. So a 15' cable with a 4' printer cable (for example) would ut you at 19' and it probably wont work correctly. Thanks!

It got the stars mainly due to price. It works, but you get what you pay for.

The fact that USB extension cords in general have given my workspace much more flexibility is wonderful perhaps needs to separated from this review. Next time will probably splurge a few bucks more for one with more consistent functionality.



I bought two. One for the keyboard, one for mouse. The one for the keyboard kept losing the connection despite double and triple checks that things were in fact connected. I would randomly hear the 'ding' you get when you unplug/plug something from the USB slots. It really puts a cramp in your writing style if your keyboard disconnects every few minutes. The disconnection glitch lasts a second, sometimes more. That I could tolerate on the mouse since I don't use it very often. So I selected the best of the two for my mouse and ended up putting the keyboard back on a direct connection. It's been a couple of months and maybe the cord has warmed up or something. I still get a rare, second long stop in function, but the connect/disconnect problem hasn't happened in for a few weeks.

I wish that I had learned about the great prices on cables like this through Amazon long ago. I kick myself for wasting so much money in the past by going to the local B*** B** store. That big electronics chain charges over $20 for cables like this, compared to less than $3 here. The cables got to me two days after I ordered them. Kudos to Amazon and to their partner, YourCableStore.

I bought this because my 70$ logitech VX mouse, which I love, was super laggy (almost to the point of being garbage) if it was not right up close to the dongle. for 3$, I bought this cable, thinking I'ld try one last time to salvage such a nice mouse. plug-n-play on Windows 7 x64, now my dongle is up on my desk and my mouse works perfectly. would highly recommend something like this for someone frustrated with the crappy wireless connection of an otherwise superbly designed mouse.

I bought 2 cables to extend from my CPU to 2 flash drives. My flash drives work great when plugged directly into the CPU or when plugged into more expensive cables I already have, but don't work when using these cables. One cable worked for a day, then quit. The other cable didn't work at all. Cmple promptly sent a replacement. The replacement worked once, then stopped working. Then Cmple promptly sent me a complete refund. Cmple was excellent to deal with, but the product was worthless.

The nice thing about this product was it was cheap, and got to me fast the bad is it is a slow connection. I have been using it in combination with a high speed hub and the two together run in slow motion. At some points this equipment will recognize my external drives and usb devices and other times it wont.

Plantronics Discovery 925 - discovery 925, headset

OK, I splurged. I usually don't spend this much on a headset. I've actually owned a ton of them over the past few years (check out some of my older reviews). Most of them were cheap sub-$30 headsets. Let me just say, "I can't believe the difference."



After doing some research here and on Plantronics' website, I pulled the trigger. I'm using this with two phones; my Sony Ericsson W580i and my BlackBerry 8310.



Pros:



- First off, the sound quality of this headset is awesome. It is crystal-clear on my end and zero-complaints on the other. No more sounding like I'm in a tunnel. I assume this is the AudioIQ technology doing it's thing.



- Secondly, the headset is super-lightweight and this equals comfort. I was skeptical at first about just popping this in my ear without a hook. Once I picked the right size ear-thingy, it fits perfect and I can barely notice it's there. Even after a few hours of wearing it (I know, I'm a geek) I barely notice it. I can do the "shake-your-head" test and this stays in place.



Cons:



- The charging "case" is cool, but I have a hard time getting the headset out of it sometimes. Thankfully, I can just plug the adapter right into the headset, bypassing the need for the extra bulk.



- The price; but honestly, after spending more on a collection of "less impressive" headsets over the past few years, you really do get what you pay for.



Highly recommended for it's sharp looks, perfect clarity and ultra-comfort. Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth Earpiece (Black, Retail Packaging)

What I was looking for: I wanted a Bluetooth headset for my iPhone 3G and PS3 for gaming and thus needed one with multipoint technology. I've had cheap headsets before, and have learned that when it comes to headsets, you get what you pay for. So I wasn't afraid to pay a little more for quality. After doing research, it seemed that the jawbone, discovery 925, and blueant V9 were the highest rated headsets in my pricerange. The jawbone gets far more press than the other 2. I didn't know much about blueant, so I focused on the jawbone II and the 925. There aren't many reviews that compare the 2 that satisfied me. So I went with the jawbone II. I wasn't satisfied so I returned the jawbone and bought the 925. So here is my comparison.



Noise cancellation/isolation: Of all the options, sound isolation seems to separate the high end headsets from the lower end models. Jawbone touts the noise assassin. This requires a vibration sensor to maintain constant contact on your cheek (hence the name "jawbone") to be able to determine when you're talking and thus cancel out other sounds. Inherently, this requires a good fit. Most reviews criticize the less than perfect fit. Mine fit fine, and noise isolation was excellent. Even with music playing and the windows rolled down. The 925 utilizes audioIQ technology. Most negative reviews say it is not as effective as the noise assassin, and complain that it is very sensitive to the wind. I found that audioIQ did not work nearly as well as the noise assassin. Sometimes it would amplify ambient noise, perhaps it interpreted it as my voice? Sensitivity to the wind was not as extreme as some reviewers complained about. It was no worse than talking on my iPhone in the wind.



Incoming sound quality: I thought the jawbone sound quality was acceptable. There seems to be an emphasis on the high frequencies. The 925 was much better, up to par with my iPhone's sound. At the highest volume level, I found the 925 to have some distortion. Both only have 1 volume button. The 925's button toggles between 3 levels of volume.



Outgoing (voice) sound quality: I think the tradeoff for great sound isolation is poor voice quality. By far the 925 won in this category. It was up to par with a land line, when it worked. For example, when there was a lot of ambient noise, I still had to speak loudly for the earpiece to distinguish it from the noise. The jawbone's sound quality was at most acceptable. Most people would ask me to repeat myself. Some said it was obvious I was using a headset. Some thought I was on speakerphone or said it sounded like I was in an auditorium. Fit was not a problem, the sensor always maintained firm contact to my cheek. I also noticed that sound isolation would clip the very beginning of each sentence. For instance my "Yes" would become "-es".



Comfort: By far, the 925 was more comfortable and easier to apply. It utilizes gels (3 sizes) that hold it in place in your ear without an earloop. I wore this playing a game for 2 hours, without discomfort. I shook my head hard without it getting loose or falling out. The jawbone uses a combination of gels (3 sizes) and earloops (plastic or leather, 2 sizes each). I played around with every combination and eventually came back to the default size that came in the box. The jawbone is awkward at first, but you get used to it. It is a bit clumsy to get on and off however. In the beginning, I was very paranoid that the noise assassin sensor was not touching my cheek and had to check repeatedly.



Multipoint: Jawbone, as far as I am aware, does not support multipoint technology. It did however pair with my PS3. Pairing the 925 with both the iphone and PS3 was a bit confusing at first. You have to turn multipoint on first, then pair each one at a time. You switch from one device to the other with the multifunction button. Several times, my headset interfered with my controller (also Bluetooth) when I switched it on during a game. I've read that this is a common occurance with bluetooth headsets and the PS3. I've played probably a total of 20 hrs with this headset, and encountered this problem twice. Another reviewer stated he had to pair his headset with the iPhone everyday. I did not encounter this problem. Be aware that multipoint drains your battery faster.



Range: Both maintained pairing to about 30 feet (rough estimate). The 925 had static at about feet. The jawbone was fine at about 30 feet. I did not push their limits however.



Multifunction button: each uses a single multifunction button which are comparable. The jawbone's buttons are integrated in the design, so you actually don't see the buttons, you just know where they are. An annoying feature is the led light, which is on the multifunction button. So when you are pushing the button to turn it on, you can't see when the light is coming on.



Charging: I have to admit, the jawbone has a cool magnetic charger which attaches itself to the headset. Be sure to check that your charging light is on. Once I had attached the charger and it wasn't seated correctly. The 925 comes with a case that has a built-in battery with enough juice for a full charge, which is really cool IMO. It looks big in the picture, but measures about 4 x 1.25 x 1.25 inches, a little bulky for pant pockets. The case itself still is a nice feature to protect the headset. I hung my jawbone on my shirt and ended up bending the earloop. Scared me at first, but I was able to bend it back.



Conclusion: Unless you'll be consistently using your headset in a noisy environment, I'd recommend the 925 over the Jawbone II. It beats the jawbone, IMO, in every category except noise cancellation. Incoming and outgoing sound is much better on the 925, making it's performance much more consistent. The most common criticism of the 925 is its sensitivity to wind. Multipoint pairs with iPhone and the PS3. Contrary to the rating given by the previous reviewer, having a camera that is incapable of keeping up with the speed of the card is not a basis for a mediocre rating on the card itself. I've got an EOS 20D and I find this card much faster than my 512 Mb Sandisk Ultra II card. I highly recommend the card for those with cameras that have a high speed buffer. It allows many more pictures in a burst than the manufacturers claim because they base their estimates on slower cards. This card is well worth the money if you shoot a lot of high speed activities like sports, racing, airshows, fast moving animals, etc. SanDisk Extreme III 4 GB CompactFlash Memory Card SDCFX3-004G-A31

I thought I was dreaming a nightmare when I read a review that gave 3 stars to this product because of a limitaton in the product it was used in. I have several SanDisk Extreme III CF and SD (1 gig SD) cards, and they are nothing less than rock solid awesome. I use the SD cards in a Canon S2 IS, and a 1D Mk II N. The CF cards live in the 1D pretty much all of the time.



Other companies make pretty fast and durable flash cards, but SanDisk Extreme III cards are the fastest, and damn near bullet proof to boot. In my humble opinion, they are the best you can buy at the present time. If I happened to have an older camera that is limited in it's data transfer speed by virtue of it's vintage, I would still buy the most reliable, and fastest flash media available for it.



The day will come when a new camera tickles your fancy, and it would be a shame to have to discard your current collection of flash cards just because they are too slow to work with your new camera. CF and SD flash cards are here to stay for awhile. They have a lifetime of very active use rated at better than ten years. I can only speak for myself, but in a ten year period, I might buy several cameras.



Go for the best price, but go for the best product too. The SanDisk Extreme III cards cost as little as fifty Dollars per gig, and leave plenty of room for future camera updates.

This card has the best rated speed for the Olympus E500, and the performance was great for about 5 months. In that last couple weeks, however, it has failed twice. The first time was when trying to transfer photos to the computer, and the computer could not recognize the card. After my husband reformatted it (and losing pictures in the process), it was working fine. The second time was fortunately while practicing with a new filter. It gave a "card error" message. At this point, I'll contact SanDisk. I will update here with the results.



Customer service update:

SanDisk was good about replacing this. They were a little resistant initially and required I perform some tests to prove to them that it was failing, but after I jumped through their hoops, they provided me with a UPS number, I took it into UPS for shipping to their technicians, who promptly had me sent a new one.



Update Sept 2007:

If possible, I would now upgrade my rating from 3 to 4 stars. The new card has been in use for 9 months with no problems. So, I would purchase this again, especially for an Olympus Evolt. I would just take lots of practice pictures with the card before relying on it for anything important.



Update Nov 2008:

The replacement card has worked without fail.

SanDisk is known as a reliable name in flash memory cards. I have purchased SanDisk memory cards for years and have never had any of them fail on me. So when I recently purchased a new Canon EOS 40D digital SLR camera, I knew that I wanted a SanDisk CompactFlash card, to record all of my precious photos. I looked up the specs of the many choices that SanDisk offers. I also read many reviews, right here on Amazon, and decided that the Extreme III series CompactFlash was what I needed.



Wanting the ability to store several hundred photos on a single card, I chose the 4GB Extreme III CompactFlash card. I inserted the 4GB Extreme III into my new digital SLR camera and formatted it. At 10.1 megapixels, and at the largest JPG setting, my camera shows that the card will hold roughly 900 pictures. I began snapping pictures and was instantly amazed at how quickly the data saved to the card. After I had about 50 pictures on the card, I removed it from the camera and inserted it into the card reader attached to my PC. I copied all of the photos from the card onto my PC hard drive. Again I am amazed at how quickly this memory card can move data. This card is awesome! I have always thought that the many claims of faster speed in memory cards was purely hype, to get consumers to plunk down extra cash. Well I can honestly tell you that there IS a difference. Compaired to an older 512 MB CompactFlash card that I use in a different camera, this Extreme III series card is at least 2 to 3 times faster in transferring digital photos.



I have noticed a few low scoring reviews, here on Amazon, from people that have had their SanDisk memory cards fail. I am sorry to hear that others have not had as much luck with their SanDisk cards as I have. I suppose there is always going to be a certain amount of failure with any electronic device on the market. All I can say is that I have been using SanDisk flash memory devices for years, including SD, Memory Stick Pro, MicroSD (transflash), CompactFlash, and even several different Cruzer USB flash drives, and have never had one case of failure. I have worked in the I.T. field for over 20 years and I can asure you that I am not a light user by any means. Any data storage media I own is used frequenty and intensly. In my book there is no better manuafacturer of portable memory media than SanDisk, and I will remain a loyal user until they decide to cut back on quality and I start to experience failures and lost data.



I highly recommend this Extreme III series CompactFlash card by SanDisk. I also recommend that you purchase it from Amazon. I made the mistake of buying mine from a local electronics store, which charged me nearly twice the price of what Amazon is selling it for. I was in a hurry and needed it right away, and boy did I pay a premium! I've owned 3 Norelco shavers in my life. Each lasting more than 10 years. The local repair shop who has serviced my previous 2 Norelco's noted that the new ones aren't the quality of the old. Time will only answer that question but I can state that the 7340 system sold here is a much changed version of what I have used in the past.



First the 7430 is light....extremely light. It is very quiet, something that takes getting used to. It's also the first Norelco I've owned without the comfort control setting. I was initially reluctant since on my previous 2 Norelco's the comfort control setting seemed to affect the closeness of the shave. This particular razor has the HQ8 heads. The higher priced models use the HQ9s. From my research the biggest complaint about the HQ9 head is that it seems to take more time to get a clean shave. Based on 3 weeks of use of the 7340, even without the comfort control, not only do the HQ8 heads shave as fast as my older Norelco's but the shave is also closer.



This shaver also allows the use of water to rinse the heads clean. This is a major advantage over my older Norelco's since I use a pre shave product that can cause the blades to need frequent cleaning. Now the after shave rinse to the head assembly keeps things much cleaner without having to disassemble the heads, which was what I previously had to do.



On the negative side the razor is delivered bare bones. No case to store or transport it in. It won't fit even my older cases. My previous Norelco had a battery gauge which allowed me to know when to recharge the shaver. This razor has a charge indicator but its only purpose is to indicate when the shaver is being charged and that it has reached full charge.



My older Norelco's would slow down as their batteries started to fail. This one just stops when the voltage falls below certain level. Obviously not a good thing if you have no available AC outlet at the time. To get the best battery life you do need to let the batteries run down. If you constantly plug it in to keep it "topped off", you will be replacing batteries on a more frequent cycle. Note that this service normally must be done by a service person since the batteries are soldered in. In past experience I got at least 4-5 years service out of one set of batteries.



Overall this is a good lower cost Norelco. It's Chinese made so from my stand point I will have to wait and see if it holds up as well as my former shavers that were Holland manufactured. Philips Norelco 7340 Men's Shaving System

I bought the shaver from Best Buy for $52 three weeks ago. I'm 63 and have been using Braun shavers for the past 25 years because I felt they gave a closer shave than Norelco.



This Norelco, which although is made in China, seems very well made. It is remarkably quiet and comfortable, a pleasure to use. After three weeks of getting my beard accustomed to the shaver I can say it seems to shave reasonably close and gets all the hairs - something my Braun had a problem with.



I just completed a test, shaving half my face with the Norelco, half with my old Braun (not in the best shape), and after judging my beard the next morning, the Norelco easily won. It's not as close as a blade - by 5 p.m I notice a stubble, but considering how easy it is to use (and washable) I really can't complain! an excellent shaver at a reasonable price.



[It's now Dec. 2010 - 2 years later - and it shaves every bit as good as when I bought it. I use it every day and I have probably an a little less than average beard... what can I say, it's a great shaver!]

The good: a good shave; plenty of battery life (at least when brand-new); corded or cordless use; when corded, it shaves really well even if the batteries are nearly depleted; easy to clean (the heads can be rinsed under the tap).



That said: I would have liked an indicator when the battery is down far enough that recharging is indicated, like my old Norelco had. I guess it doesn't matter, since if it stops dead you can finish up with the cord, but I still would have liked a "Time to Recharge" indicator.



The instructions say that, for best battery life, you should use it cordless as much as possible, and run the batteries almost all the way out before recharging. I'd rather have a razor I can use corded all the time, but this is the next best thing.

This is the first electric razor I've purchased. I read many reviews and decided Norelco seemed the safest bet. I chose this model because a slightly more expensive model seemed like it had the best reviews, and this razor is virtually identical for $30 less with only a couple differences:



1. Charge time of 8 hours instead of 1 hour.



2. Stated on the box that it can be used as a corded razor. Reviews stated the more expensive one could be used corded, but it didn't say so on the box. So I felt safer getting this cheaper model and it saved a bit of money.



I went with this one instead of an even cheaper model because the razor-cover-guard thing has little holes in addition to slots. The holes are supposed to create a closer shave. I wouldn't know since this is my first, but decided a closer but still safe and easy shave is best.



I considered shaving a hassle, but not anymore. I can shave while in front of my computer reading articles on the internet. Wonderful. Normally I consider time spent shaving to be a waste. And it doesn't irritate my skin unless I press very hard and repeatedly. Or maybe that was just the first times. I haven't had any irritation at all after the first week.



Everyone says to run water over the blades to clean them. I find it even more convenient to simply blow on them really hard. The stubble is a gritty dust with fairly frequent use, so it disappears on the carpet and I vacuum it up whenever I vacuum.



This is one of the best purchases I have made. No more wasting my time shaving in the mirror. No more giving myself irritated red skin on my neck trying to adequately shave in that tricky area. Yes, it works on my neck. It also catches all of the shavings, so you could shave while driving to work if you wanted to. But since it is no hassle, I don't see why I would wait until the last minute to do it. I haven't had any problems with the radio itself and have had it for nearly a year now. I installed it myself in just about 10 minutes or so, which was pretty surprising to me since I'm not very good at any type of electronic install or setup.



The subscription is about $15 a month. I'm not sure why people are complaining about commercials? I listen to all sorts of stations, alternative, classical, cinema soundtracks, symphony, 90's, hip hop, old school rap, current main stream, Rosie O donell in the morning etc.. there are no commercials. The only commercials are on the actual TV stations that broadcast on the radio, like CNN, MSNBC, Oprah radio, headline news, etc. Those have commercials because they are actual TV show's, not technically XM or Sirius stations. The stations that are generated by sirius or XM have no commercials.



Anyways, if you want satellite radio, this is the one to pick. It has great graphics and great options. You can save up to 10 songs. There is a rewind button, you can hit rewind and go back to previous songs you listened to. I also bought the docking radio station for it, so I can listen to my radio in the car and in my work and home. The docking station is awesome (An AudioVox XMBB1)!! It gets so incredibly loud and has deep bass, almost sounds like a surround sound system. For such a small monthly fee, this service is totally worth it. Like most reviews show - the screen failed at about a year. I was driving to work today, and watched as it flickered from bright to dark, and then died completely. The radio still works, and my presets are just fine - I can only tune at night when I can see the display. XM radio is just okay - not great, and despite the hype commercials are taking up most of the air time on popular channels.

This is a very reliable receiver and gives you plenty of the bells and whistles you need. Menu is easy to navigate and get started. Tune/Artist select is easy and the notification was a bit loud and obnoxious at first..but my old SkyFi2 alert was not noticeable at times depending on the volume of our music so I don't mind the volume of the beep.



One slight downside, the info extra scroll at the bottom has text that is a bit small to read with the radio set on the dash, but the screen overall is very clear, crisp, and colorful. When not looking at the remote it can be difficult to know where certain buttons are. Would have been nice to add a slight nick/bump to the home key of 1, 2, or 3 for where the numbers begin.

This is a very nice radio but I have noticed a small quirk with the remote that I wasn't aware of and actually had a replacement sent before I was able to find the solution to the problem. The remote works fine except for turning the radio on. Hidden on page 130 of the instructions is a Tip that states: "When the XpressRCi is in the PowerConnect Vehicle Dock, the Remote Control will not be able to turn it on." This was not what I expected and would have expected this to be stated in remote instructions instead of in a Tip. Other than this nuisance it works great.

I'm afraid it might die in a year like many other's experiences with it but I will try to keep it out of sunlight. Regardless, got it new for $95 received the day after I ordered it. XM/Sirius customer service ROYALLY sucks but look for a code and you can even save $15 on activation. It's been awesome so far and addicting, but then again I've loved XM for years now...

Installation and setup was a breeze ~ however I have to say that Sirius/XM makes it MUCH easier to ADD a radio than to REMOVE a radio!



The function, operation and audio quality of this unit is very good and is a step above what my previous unit was.



No negative experiences what-so-ever!

I love it because it's the model that allows you to have both sirius and XM which is a bonus. The only thing I don't like is that you dont have a memo button like my old starmate which allows you to save artist you like and will alert you when they are playing so you can switch is you want. But all and all a great buy. Also I got the free install card so thought I would let tweeter install it so it looked nice in the new car and hide the wires. I paid extra to have it hard wired to the stereo thinking it could have no wires showing. No such luck. It's looks nicer then the other car's sirius but still a little junkie. Cost an extra $70 to do it too. Boo on that. But unless I wanted to drop $800 on a sirius ready factory radio for our new jeep, this was the best thing to do. I miss the old days when radios would fit all cars. Now you can't find anyting aftermarket radio at bestbuy to fit a newer model.

My husband bought this for me to put in our 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It mounted easily, stays put, gets great reception, and is easy to use. I absolutely love the option to have XM in an older vehicle. You can also take it inside and use an XM dock to play your favorite stations inside the house or whereever you are.



GREAT product!

Despite the reviews that said the screen died after a year, I decided to buy this radio (albeit a slightly different model) a couple of years ago. Just like the reviews, the backlight began to flicker, then completely go dead within days.



Because I am lazy and wanted the easy way out, I decided to then buy this model so I could hook everything up to existing wiring. Also, I hoped maybe since it was a newer model, the previous problem would have been fixed.



Wrong! Just like the last one, the backlight began to die within weeks of the warranty expiring. It's my own fault, but I figured the least I could do is warn everyone else.



Sure, the screen is pretty and it does all sorts of things, but your screen WILL die in about a year. The radio (and presets) will continue to work, but you will not be able to see the screen.



And all of those great reviews ... they're all from people who just got the radio. Ask them a year from now if they're still happy, and I'd be willing the vast majority would say no. - Xm Receivers - Xm Radio - Caution - Xpressrc'

Great pack of prepared survival supplies. The emergency hand crank power "station" with flashlight, AM/FM radio, siren, cell phone charger is especially nice. We bought the deluxe kit for this. The water supply is not really adequate for a somewhat comfortable three days (but more would make it super heavy), so we added potable aqua water treatment tablets as well as a Sierra saw and Bic lighters among some other serious items we wanted. We also added some niceties, like small toothbrushes and mini toothpaste tube and kool-aid packets for flavoring purified water. Even with the extras everything fits nicely in the pack. We started thinking seriously about preparing for something like this after the earthquake/tsunami in Japan.



One of the real five star things about this pack is the great customer service that Ready America gives. Our pack was somehow missing the nitrile gloves and dust masks. I contacted the company and said it was a great kit as is, but that ours was missing those items and was there a chance we could get them. They responded right away, and even though my original response with mailing information got lost, they contacted me a few weeks later saying they hadn't heard back. That's excellent not only to respond, but to keep on top of the issue.

I just received this item and went through it very thoroughly. For the price and the purpose, I really have no complaints.



The pack fully loaded weighs about 20 pounds. The pack itself is small, and that 20 pounds seems more like 50 because the distribution is in such a small area. However, this is for emergency use, not for camping or hiking.



Once you remove the extra packing material on the "emergency power station" and the first aid kit, you definitely have some extra room for personal items.

Who would want to spend the money for something you hope never to use. Has almost all things necessary to survive the magic "3 days". I would have rated it 5-stars but there was no flint or other fire starter. For all "Boy Scouts" out there, a must have.

Somebody put alot of thought into this product. I removed some of the packaging of the contents and added a few extra items important to our particular needs.

People seem to put this sort of purchase off, then wish they had it when a disaster strikes. Don't wait until it is too late. It is like insurance, you hope you will never need it, but damn glad you have it if you get stuck in a situation. If you are counting on the government to take care of you in a disaster event, that could take days for help to finally arrive. This kit will help in the meantime.

Only received four liters of water. After researching this further, it is only enough for one day for four. When I contacted customer service, they said I received what I should have.So, I had to find another merchant to purchase what I originally intended. I'm concerned some families won't realize they didn't get sufficient water, and it could have horrible consequences in an emergency.

Product finally arrived with everything advertised. No where near the $89.00 cost. Most of the items could be bought at Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart for a 1/4 of their selling. I would return the item except for all the trouble I had getting the item.

We just moved to Tornado Alley and needed a kit. Bought this one for the 4-in-1 Power Station and every thing looks great. The radio feature was a little hard to dial in at first but apparently our NOAA station near us was damaged in a storm so not sure how well it will work once it is repaired. Flashlight is nice and bright and recharges quickly. Backpack is full when you first receive it however once you take out the extra packing and rearrange everything there's plenty of room for extras. I put baby items in for our son and some walkie talkies.

This emergency kit is priced too high. The quality of items in the package is either average or below average. The first-aid kit includes only very basic items. The "emergency whistle" is like a toy you may find in a kid's goodie bag. This is a high quality component that I would recommend. The volume is smooth and the clicks are a nice feature. Easy to install. One issue is it is a big unit to fit into a single gang mount with the speaker cables. Need to be careful pushing all that in. I love the Niles speaker cable connectors. I agree with other people who left their feedback. I am very happy with this product. It is high quality, and it solved my issue with dual speaker zones being either too loud or not loud enough. Now I can customize the volume in both zones with no loss of sound quality.

The build quality is excellent (item is quite heavy) and it clicks to different volume levels (which appear to connect to different taps on the built in transformer looking thing). Avoids any scratchy sounds you get on the potentiometer type volume controls.



Includes two wall plates to match either decorator or standard outlet cover styles.

I purchased this volume knob for a bathroom and it works great! I've got 3 other identical volume controls and have had them for several years and each one works flawlessly. Very good design, easy installation (assuming you have done the wiring)
