Cd-car-adapter - cd-r player, mp3 cd player

I bought this to listen to books on CD in my car, since my car CD player no longer works. This is the ideal product for that purpose. It was a bit difficult to figure out the correct setting so the player would start where it stopped. Finally I figured out the combination: When you need to stop listening, press the stop button. When you're back in the car ready to listen, press the play button. Be sure you don't turn off the car without pressing the stop button. If you do, the CD will start at the beginning.

Great product, great price! Sony DEJ017CK Walkman Portable CD Player w/ Car Accessories

One of the reviewers on here mentioned the crappy sound with the cassette adapter, but I found it to work beautifully in my 1995 Miata. I didn't have to turn it way up either. Simple to look at - looks like a miniature Roomba - and works great. The only drawback is that I also have a GPS I can't live without, so I have to use the batteries on the CD player instead of the cigarette lighter hook-up. But I use this little sucker every day on my 37 minute drive to Moorpark to ride my horse, and it's a wonderful item. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. And you just can't beat Amazon's shipping: I ordered it on Tuesday about 3 p.m. and it got here the next day. I'm very impressed with both. :D

I didn't expect this portable cd player to sound as good as it does, but the sound quality is really nice. When it is played in the car (via cassette attachment) it is amazing how clear the music is, the bass is great - no tremor or static. I am satisfied especially considering the low price. The battery life is short if you use the portable cd player quite often, but nevertheless, if you are looking for something to use while exercising, walking even while cleaning the house or if you don't have a CD player in your vehicle and dont' want to put out the expense of purchasing a new cd console for your vehicle, I suggest this item.

This was a replacement for my car cd player that quit working. When I hooked it up it put my car cd player to shame fantastic sound& bass control. I saved my self about $150 dollars. Wow! if your car cd player quits working. don't replace it get this its only $38 and well worth it. Only one problem the controls are hard to operate but not a big problem I give it 5 Stars. J.T.

I received the Walkman with the car accessories and got to using it right away. It performed great and I was really enjoying it. I used it for books on CD for about 5 hrs per day. Two weeks of perfect performance, then one bump to the CD player and it was dead. Don't know what happened. It just quit. Not at all durable. I was so disappointed. Looks like I'm back to books on tape. - Cd Walkman - Cd-r Player - Cd Player - Mp3 Cd Player'

Face Treatments - energizing, moisture

I have been using this mask for the last 5 years. If I have a big event or important meeting, I MUST use this mask that day. I wash my face and apply this mask after getting out of the shower. The cooling feeling energizes me and prepares the skin well for applying makeup. I leave the mask on until it's dry (about 10 min) and then rinse off and apply moisturizer.

It plumps my skin so beautifully that EVERY TIME I USE IT, people compliment me on my skin! Literally, every time. My skin looks more supple, younger and fresh. I use expensive creams -- even $250 Creme de la Mer - but this simple basic is a STAPLE in my cabinet. I couldn't go without it!

I'm so happy to see it sold here on Amazon, as you can no longer find it in drugstores. I hope Neutrogena will manufacture this product again -- as I will do anything to find it and use it for the rest of my life. I can't speak more highly of this fabulous, refreshing, energizing mask. Neutrogena Pore Refining Mask Oil Free 2 Oz

I only ordered this because I was ordering something else, the primary product I was after was not sent so I would have to say never order from Beauty Encounter unless you like bad customer service, wrong products, and hassle and headache when trying to return items that were sent due to their mistake. In the past I had really liked Neutrogena poor refining products, but they had to monkey around and discontinue products. This is one of the new ones they have brought out since monkeying around with the line, but it misses the mark and I cannot really tell it is doing anything for my skin. - Face Treatments - Moisture - Masks - Energizing'

Wii Pes Or Fifa - pes, wii game

(This review is long-winded, but I guarantee it will serve you.)

Can't decide whether to buy Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 or Fifa 2010 on Wii? Comparing the 2010 PES and Fifa versions for Wii leaves little to argument: if you're looking for an authentic soccer experience, PES is far superior.

Read other Amazon reviews and you readily discern that Fifa has tried something new by opting for a kiddy, arcade feel. It's as if an ignoramus in Nintendo's or EA Sports' boardroom ordered the programmers to alter a tried and true formula. The result? Like altering a long-standing Thanksgiving tradition, EA has, by analogy, brought a tofu "turkey" to dinner, and long time Fifa fans will be drastically disappointed with EA's miserable product (though young gamers may like the simple play).

Aiming to please the casual Wii sports fan, EA revamped Fifa graphics, options, and gameplay--but all for the worse. Some may think the graphics an improvement as character faces are more life-like than ever, but objectively the players look much like an out of proportioned Quasimodo. As regarding the game's options, Fifa fans will be irate that, when playing a season, there is no option to change from 2 minutes halves. Fifa's game play also suffers from such unbearable new "features" as the shooting slow-mo (The game goes into slow-mo nearly every time a shot is made.) and the corner/free-kick green ball. (You might be letting in 3 free kicks per game on the higher levels.). Fifa did significantly correct one astonishing oversight from Fifa 2009: they assigned different buttons for ground and air passes, whereas last year's version only had one button for both passes, leaving the 2009 game unplayable except with the Gamecube controller. (Fifa 2009 with the GameCube controller is a far superior game than the newer version.)

How does PES compare? My ideal Wii football game is one that takes advantage of the Wii's point to the screen abilities, allows you to play accurate/realistic passes, challenges you with life-like computer AI, and allows you to develop a team/players over a season. PES 2010 on Wii excels in all these areas, and once you read the below tips to correct some of the ostensible errors, the true fan of the beautiful game will be loving PES 2010.

As with Fifa 2010, PES 2010 allows you to point to the screen to make a pass to any specific location. While both games still need to improve the accuracy of through balls and balls over the top (In both games you will occasionally find yourself passing to the feet/chest of a teammates instead of in front of the teammate.), it is much easier to intentionally play a pass in front of the receptor in PES than in Fifa. (If you cannot figure out how to make a long, air pass in PES 2010, know the instructions in the booklet are wrong: to play a long, air pass, double tap B in rapid succession.) The brilliantly refined invention in PES 2010 is the point and drag a teammate option which allows you to make off-the-balls runs in any direction. In other words, with the control stick you can run the ball handler in one direction, while pointing and dragging a teammate to make a run in completely the opposite direction. As a result, I can finally make "el Chino" David Silva cut outside with the ball and play the perfect through pass to inside cutting "el Guage" Villa who is perfectly on-side.) At first the controls, dribbling and zone marking on defense, will seem overly complicated--and perhaps not suitable to the casual gamer or gamers under age 10--but be patient, play a season, and the wonderful instructional videos will have you executing the inspired moves within a week. (For instance, for eternity, football games have only allowed you to play give-and-go passes where the "goer" runs straight down the field. Utilizing the Wii's capacities, PES 2010 allows give-and-go passes in any direction.) As for the AI, PES 2010 is really the first football game I have ever played where the computer, on the advanced settings, does not try to dribble down the center of the field, but rather plays the ball around the field: tic-y, tac-y. Regarding options, though PES lacks the licenses on some Premiership teams and does not carry second division teams in any of the European leagues, you can play a full season with Champions League, compete in just the Champions League, dispute a country cup with any major European/South American club or national team, or create your own team--even with Mii characters. PES also features a menu in multiple-languages, as well as commentary in multiple-languages: English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese. (Me gusta más el comentario en español que en inglés, con la excepción de que los comentaristas confuden los nombres de algunos jugadores. A Silva le llaman Xabi Alonso.)

The comparison is easy. Once you master PES's complex controls (Don't forget that an air-pass is double B on manual control settings. Also, if you find your players asininely standing still and waiting for the ball to come to them, press C, the cancel button to make receiving players run to the ball.), you will use the Wii's point and play capabilities to make more authentic runs and passes than with any other football game on any other system. PES' only drawback is a significant one: using the Wii controller and Nunchuck, you cannot play on the same team as a friend. Nevertheless, PES far outshines the pitiful Fifa 2010, and this written by someone who has purchased 7 Fifa games on different systems in his many years. Unless you are the parent of a young child looking for an easily playable game, don't waste your money on Fifa 2010 when such a better option as PES 2010 exists. Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

I just got this game a few days ago and already love it. There are a tons of different teams from several different soccer leagues that you can choose to play as. Teams from different countries can be played as as well(My favorite team to play as is Sweden). This game is exciting to play, especially for the Wii, because you can point to exactly where you want the pass to be made. The controls are fairly simple, without being too simple. Another great feature of this game is that using nintendo wi fi you can compete against people from around the world (very similar to Xbox Live, except for the Wii it is free). The graphics are surprisingly good for a game on the wii console. Unlike some other sports titles for the Wii, it can be a challenge even for hardcore gamers. I would recommend this game to anyone, especially a soccer fan. This is by far the best soccer game out for any console. - Wii Soccer - Pes - Wii Game - Pro Evolution Soccer'

Funny As Hell - humor, gag gift

This toy was very educational- it got me thinking, and inspired creativity.

This button is AMAZING! My boss has an easy button, so of course I had to get one too... because I'm just that kind of employee...lol... riiiiight. I wondered if I could swap the guts of an easy button with a BS button... so I ordered both on Amazon, and had some fun doing a little creative soldering, trimming of internal plastic (under "easy"), and use of a rubber band to hold the pressure button from the easy button in place on the BS button after soldering the wires (see below for walk-through).

A switcheroo when he was out of his office, and presto: an innocuous looking button that lets out a random phrase letting you know what it REALLY was (hint: not easy)! That was easy.

DISCLAIMER: I work in an agency with a "high ops-tempo" and difficult cases where "everything is a crisis," and most importantly, a boss who gets my sense of humor. Try this at your own risk.

------

Remove feet from easy button, set aside (don't lose), sticky side up.

Separate halves of buttons, and carefully remove wires from easy button board (leaving them on the battery pack and speaker for ease), and BS button board.

Wire Connections:

Easy Button

black-VSS

white- VDD

Red- Speakers

BS Button

Black- GND

Red- VCC

White- Speakers

I recommend soldering to the back of the BS board (just find the appropriate spot and solder- it beats trying to jam wires into the board- good luck with that)

Your red wires become speaker wires, so solder those to their proper spot on the BS button.

Blk stays blk, so just solder that wire to the GND spot.

The white wire goes to where the red used to go, so solder that to the VCC spot.

You left the yellow and blue wires dangling from the LED on the BS button shell, so don't worry about those. They don't get used.

Loosely screw your Frankenstein's Monster's Trojan Button's guts down in one spot using an existing screw hole- button side down. Leave room to slide the metal plate back in place (it's makes a pop/click noise when you press the button, and is necessary for a convincing transformation).

Now would be a good time to affix the pressure switch (the rubber button from the top of the easy button). It will work on the BS button board to complete the circuit. I used a rubber band to hold the pressure switch in place (loop it around the middle of the board from one side of the switch, and back over the switch to hold it down).

On the back of the easy button's red shell there are four posts. You'll have to clip them almost all the way down. If you've tried to screw it down before now (impatient, aren't we), you'll have noticed that it doesn't fit. Keep clipping until it fits snugly over the top and you can slide the metal plate back under the guts so when it's all assembled the pressure pushes the guts down onto the pressure switch and clicks the plate at the same time). Screw it back together, and replace the feet.

Let the fun begin! Bullsh*t Button

I keep my BS button by my desk. Whenever someone comes to me with a ridiculous question, an absurd assignment, or opinion that they should have left at THEIR desk, I push my BS button. Nothing clarifies communications, shortens discussions, or moves managers along faster than a healthy does of "That Was BS!"

I love it! The first time that I saw the BS button was when a co-worker brought one in that he bought locally. Another co-worker of mine found the BS button on Amazon; I immediately ordered two. The one that I intended to keep for myself is now a fixture in one of my hangouts and gets heavy use and my significant other has the other one, which has also seen heavy use. I heartily recommend the BS button as a fun thing & recommend DollTV as the place to buy one.

I bought this as a bit of a gag gift for my mother. She is always screaming at the TV when various game-shows and programs pull some well... You know what!

This is a great toy to keep around the house and might go over well at a place of work that is relaxed about cursing. It is a fun toy that says it as it is basically. In terms of relative size this button is around 1/2 the diameter of a Staples "EASY" button. It feels to be just the right size and the audio it puts out is crystal clear.

The button comes with 5 different ways to say exactly what you really want to say without actually having to say it. It is pretty sturdy with construction, durable plastic, though for the price don't expect it to withstand being thrown around or dropped form very high places. The device takes 2-AAA batteries and will require a Philips-Head Jeweler's screwdriver to undo the screw holding the battery compartment closed.

OVERALL I would say this is a great gag gift or item to keep around a relaxed atmosphere office. It is durable enough that it could take a bit of abuse if you decide to slap down on the button, and should definitely get a few laughs. Although small it puts out a loud, good quality audio. A great toy that will certainly say it as YOU see it.

*NOTE: Batteries are Included pre-installed.

Love this BS button. I put this on top of my PC which is on my desk, that way it is always ready when I need it. Very funny, just don't overdo it as it can be annoying. My other officemates want one too, but no can do. There should only one BS button in this workplace, and it shall be on my desk.

Everything is made of plastic. The button is just a tad less than 3 inch in diameter. It shipped with batteries too.

I can't believe I ordered this. But it turned out it's worth it :)

Great gift idea.

I bought this as a Christmas Gift literally for a guy who buys whatever he wants and needs himself. It's a nightmare finding something he doesn't already have. This gift was a big hit with everyone and made Christmas day more interesting and fun. HOWEVER I would not buy this for a child or even call it a toy. It is not appropriate for most children as it has several rude phrases it says randomly at a push of the button. - Gift Idea - Gag Gift - Humor - Easy Button'

Office - hanging folders, office

Received 3 boxes of these and they are of good quality and will work well. I would normall give them 4 stars, but was pretty disappointed that they only came in 3 colors in the box. The picture above makes it look like they will come in several colors, so I could easily color code things, but all 3 boxes, had the same 3 colors, no more. The picture is VERY misleading in terms of the product appearance. Pendaflex Essentials Hanging Folder, 1/5 Cut, Letter, Assorted (81612)

I bought the assorted and as noted, there were three colors -- blue, yellow and red. I have used these hanging folders for years and yes, eventually, the metal rod will come out, but not for years -- if you don't overload them. A neat and easy way to organize all of those pieces of paper that we can't seem to live without.

You need normal hanging letter sized folders? these are them, but pretty colors. Buy American wooo hoooo! Well maybe this is made in America, at least it's not a generic brand, pay a little extra for the brand name, but hopefully the profit is for an American company. - Office - Hanging Folders'

Ipod Accessories - ipod speakers, speakers

I'm sure this review, as with all other negative reviews, is going to get a "this was not helpful" rating. Look, I get it.. the X-Mini II is an AWESOME product and nobody should to talk bad about it, right? At least hear me out first.. because I've been using these for almost a year and have owned 3 of them. I think that earns me the right to an honest negative review. And remember, most people review products shortly after they buy them.. I've actually spent a lot of time using them.

I absolutely loved mine when I first got it. I showed it to lots of friends and all my coworkers, many of which have since bought their own. It's an excellent little speaker. The sound quality is amazing for such a small package.. the build quality feels very solid. Sadly, it's what's inside that counts.. and what's inside is junk. I've owned 3 of these speakers and all 3 are now dead. Here's the series of events that led to this bad review:

X-Mini #1 - Bought my first one about 10 months ago on Amazon. Loved everything about it. One thing that really stood out (aside from excellent audio quality) was the build quality. Very solid construction. I liked it so much I bought another one for a family member, which we'll call X-Mini #2.

X-Mini #2 - Worked fine, but I noticed the build quality wasn't as good as the first one I bought. The once soft rubber-like audio cable was now stiff, cheap, shiny plastic. The power switch was now flimsy and didn't operate as solidly as my first one. The sound wasn't quite as good, and it was a tiny bit lighter weight. After about 1 month, I started having audio hiccups from it and had to contact the store (possibly power surges?). They sent me a replacement and let me keep this one. The replacement they sent me is X-Mini #3.

X-Mini #3 - Same lower-quality construction. By this point it was obvious that X-Mi had started to cheap out on the materials of the speaker. The once rock-solid speaker now feels like a cheap toy. About two weeks after owning this speaker, the battery stopped working. It no longer holds a charge and has to be plugged in via USB or a wall outlet in order to play sound. I'm not going to bother the company I bought this one from because they already sent me a free replacement.. now it's up to X-Mi.

Now I have 1 good speaker (my original), one defective one, and one with a dead battery, right? Wrong.

Back to X-Mini #1 - My beloved original, now, after 10 months of light use (maybe 3 hours a week), is dead. The battery is having the same issue as X-Mini #3. It will no longer play sound without being attached to external power.

I'm done with these things. I want to love it.. I really do.. and several months ago I would have given this thing 6 out of 5 stars if it were possible. I can no longer do that. They simply don't last. I'm extremely disappointed with X-Mi for cheaping out on materials and have sent them an email explaining this.

If you've been able to snag one that lasts longer than a year, consider yourself lucky. I envy you. X-Mini II Capsule Speaker (Black)

I bought this and the iHome rechargeable mini-speaker at the same time. The iHome mini-speaker is much louder, but the sound quality of the X-Mini II is better for music, at least in my opinion. You get more of the high and low tones with the X-Mini II, and I am surprised that it does not have a tinny sound. The iHome speaker is good for movies or if you need a loud but small speaker for parties. The X-Mini II is slightly larger than the iHome speaker, but not much. I recommend the X-Mini II for listening to music, and it works really well with my netbook or with an mp3 player.

Even though the internal speakers on my Sony Vaio notebook computer are decent, I sometimes need a little more volume and clarity. When the need arises, I usually whip out the ear-buds. But recently, I've been wanting to play some tunes on my computer at work where it's not convenient to wear ear-buds. Hence, the "need" for one of these portable mini-speakers.

After reading the reviews on portable notebook/iPod/iPhone speakers, I narrowed my choice down to 3 products and ordered all 3. I thought that I would choose the best one, send the others back, and review them at the same time. So....my 3 choices were the X-Mini II Capsule Speaker, the iHome iHM60 Rechargeable Mini Speakers for iPod (Blue), and the Altec Lansing iM-237 Orbit Ultraportable Speaker for MP3 Players (Silver).

I tested all 3 speakers with my Sony Vaio notebook, my iPhone 3Gs, and my 60-gig iPod. All 3 speakers worked with all 3 devices, and the rating results were comparable.

One more thing: although 2 of the 3 speakers have USB charging cables, none of them are USB devices. The USB only charges the speaker; the sound is controlled via the headphone-out controls.

1) X-Mini II Capsule Speaker ---- This speaker is the most compact. I like the design, the lines, the feel, and the size. It just feels right. It looks like a little pill/capsule, and then springs open to reveal bellows that enhance the bass. The sound is focused and clear, but ranks #3 in loudness and bass quality. It is the only speaker of the 3 that I tested that has a volume control, but I really don't see the need for a volume control when the speaker is only 6 inches away from the sound source. It has a built-in speaker cord for when you want to run it on the internal rechargeable battery. There's also a combined USB charging/speaker cable....1 plug inserts into your computer USB port to charge the speaker battery, and the 2nd plug goes to the headphone-out on your computer (or iPod). So, if your speaker battery dies, just plug the 2 plugs into the computer and you're back up and running. If you're using the speaker to listen to your iPod or iPhone, you are out of luck if the speaker battery dies, unless you have a USB power source nearby. Unfortunately, both the attached speaker cable and the combined USB charging/speaker cable are very flimsy. It also has a speaker-out jack, which allows you to daisy-chain speakers together. Not really a huge selling point, since people tend to buy these speakers because they are small and compact...so who wants to carry 2 with them? But I suppose it does allow for more flexibiity, athough daisy-chaining 2-3 of these little guys together just doesn't make good financial sense. So, just like the volume control, the speaker-out jack is a non-issue to me. Also comes with a little carrying bag made of felt material.

Pros --- Looks and feels right. Small/compact. Decent sound, considering it's size. Rechargeable battery. Option of using built-in cable or combined USB charging/speaker cable.

Cons --- Worst performance in terms of loudness and bass (but still not bad). Flimsy cables.

2) iHome iHM60 Rechargeable Mini Speakers for iPod (Blue) ---- This speaker is very similar to the X-Mini II above. The major differences: it's larger than the X-Mini and doesn't look as "polished". It doesn't have a volume control, but who needs one anyway? It doesn't have a built-in cable....it only has a USB charging/speaker cable....but it's MUCH sturdier than the cable on the X-Mini. The sound is louder and fuller, with more pronounced bass.....probably because the diameter is bigger and the bellows are longer. Comes with a medium-heavy duty black carrying bag, which is more substantial than the felt used for the X-Mini II bag. Also has a speaker-out jack, just like the X-Mini II, for daisy-chaining speakers together.

Pros --- Ranks #2 in loudness and bass. Small/compact. Rechargeable battery. Sturdy cable. Nicer carrying bag. $10 cheaper than the X-Mini.

Cons --- Less "polished" look/feel. Not as small as the X-Mini. No built-in speaker cable, so you MUST use the more bulky USB charging/speaker cable.

3) Altec Lansing iM-237 Orbit Ultraportable Speaker for MP3 Players (Silver) --- This speaker is the largest, but weighs about the same as the IHome. It has NO USB charging cable....just a built-in speaker cable. It ONLY runs on 3 AAA batteries. I haven't used it long enough to test the battery life. The carrying case is a deluxe zippered case that really protects the speaker. It also includes a lanyard for the speaker and a little caribiner clip for the case. The sound clearly out-classes the other 2 in loudness, clarity, and bass.

Pros --- Best sound of the 3. Uses 3 AAA batteries (no rechargeable battery to die on you). Built-in speaker cable. Very nice carrying case.

Cons --- Largest of the 3. Uses 3 AAA batteries (rechargeable battery is convenient, but they often die.) Flimsy built-in speaker cable.

So.....which one am I keeping? That's a good question. I'm DEFINITELY returning the X-Mini II. It performed the worst of the 3, it has flimsy cables, and it costs as much as the Altec. Although the iHome requires that you use the bulkier combo-cord, it sounds better and costs $10 less than the X-Mini II. No-brainer.

How about the Altec? It sounds the best, but has some limitations. I might keep BOTH the Altec and the iHome. But I'm DEFINITELY keeping the iHome, which is the all-around winner in this speaker shoot-out when you compare sound, price, and features.

A couple more remarks. The iHome packaging is maddening. The speaker is wire-tied into the package, making it extremely difficult to remove. I ended up essentially destroying the packaging in order to remove the speaker. But perhaps iHome did that on purpose, so as to discourage returns. Very annoying, but not a deal-breaker. Also, the iHome's cable has a hard plastic clip attached that is supposed to be used as a wire-tie. I have very good manual dexterity, but I was unable to fold the cable back up and clip it back together. Nice try, iHome, but the velcro cable-tie of the X-Mini II is a much better design.....too bad they decided to include such a flimsy cable.

I hope this review helps you in your purchase of a portable speaker for your notebook computer or iPod/iPhone. Be sure to check out my VIDEO REVIEW, which includes sound bytes from all 3 speakers. Passenger Compartment Air Filters - air conditioning, air filter

this is one of the easiest things you can replace in your car. my honda civic at its regular oil change, the dealer informed me @ xxxxx miles you should replace the cabin air filter. when i asked how much, they told me it was going to be around $120. i refused recalling that i saw a very simple DIY on [...] and so my plan to save $100 dollars began.

you take out your glove compartment box, by squeezing the ends of the sides and move the glove box towards you and the cabin air filter box should be exposed. remove the cabin air filter from the car, take out the air filter and put in your new and clean wix filter you bought at amazon. now you simply put eveything back the way it was and you're done! simple enough right?

the quality of this filter imo is good, it feels like the OEM filter from honda. so far i have no problems. my last words for this review is to spray the filter with febreeeze or put dryer sheets around the filter (tight squeeze) so whenever you turn on your a/c it smells like a fresh scent. i put dryer sheets in mine so my car smells like fresh laundry when the a/c is on :) Wix 24815 Cabin Air Filter for select Acura/Honda models, Pack of 1

I'm embarrassed to say that I did not even know my Honda Civic had an air filter for the cabin. My BMW and Audi in the past had them, but I just assumed that the inexpensive Honda did not have anything. When I went to buy an engine air filter on Amazon, I thought it was a joke that they were pairing the item with a cabin air filter. Well, no joke, the Honda Civic has a cabin filter and it's hidden away in a little drawer tucked behind the glove box. It was very easy to replace, once I knew that it was in there. You just open your glove box, push in the sides a little bit so the stoppers will let it swing all the way down, and then you will see the black face of the drawer for the filter behind. It just slides right out, swap out the new filter for the dirty one, and slide it back in. The only thing to watch for is to make sure the arrows showing the flow of air are lined up together. The drawer in the Honda had the arrow for airflow pointing downward, so I made sure the arrow on the side of the air filter was also pointing downward when I installed it.

That's it. Ten minute job at most, even if you take time to explore around behind your glovebox.

I purchased my 2009 Honda Accord EX-L in March 2009 and drive it around Virginia every day; almost 40k miles in one year! Needless to say I like to invest in good parts and keep it well maintained. I was amazed at how much debris got into the OEM cabin air filter in just the first year. I had a 2002 Accord coupe before purchasing this vehcile and remember the cabin air filter being much harder to change. NOT the case with the 2009 Accord. In a matter of 2-3 minutes TOPS I had the old filter out and the new one installed. You basically just disconnect the side glove box connector, squeeze in the sides of the glvoe box and voila the glove box folds down. Pull out the filter box by pushing in the compression clips and out it comes. When I started my engine and turned on the AC I could immediately tell the difference in the better smell.

I am going to change this out at least once per year from now on. You save around $50 doing it yourself!

This is a direct fit for the oem caban air filter. Wix is a great company majoring in filtration. Remember the one arrow that comes on this filter is meaning the direction of airflow. Many other makes of vehicles will have two arrows one saying insert this end first and the other arrow saying something like insert with this arrow facing up. If this filter fits your vehicle the instruction process is not like my example but just the direction of airflow. If you have a question about the direction of airflow of your vehicle it is most likely going down. Also, it may also be labled on the compartment door for your filter itself, not the glovebox door.

This filter seems to be as good as the Honda item. The dealer wanted $65 to change it because "it is hard to get to and takes a bit of time". Har-de-har.

It takes about 2 minutes (or less) to replace (drop the glove box lid, pop out the filter-holder, replace the filter, pop the holder back in, put the glove-box lid back) and seems to do the job just fine.

Dealer wanted 75.00 to change this in-cabin filter. My car has 44k miles and the filter was so dirty it wasn't even funny. There is tutorial video on youtube that shows exactly how to replace it....VERY easy to do and done in less than 2 minutes. Fits any 8th generation Honda Civic.

Very high quality cabin air filter by Wix (who has a fine reputation for filters in general.)

It was a perfect fit in a 2008 Honda CR-V. It took longer to organize the stuff in the glove compartment than it did to change the filter ... maybe three minutes? Instructions are in a little piece of paper in the box. Be sure to fasten the ends of the filter to the tray (see how the old filter goes in before you remove it from the tray.)

Hard to believe the dealer wants about $100 labor for this and the engine air filter ... (oh - that one takes about five minutes!)

The air filter shipped fast and fit my 2007 V6 Accord perfectly. The install took less than a minute and I could tell a difference right away. The musty smell from the old filter was gone and if I took it to the dealer to do the same, they would have charge me 49.99. Talk about markup!

Wix Filters are a great alternative to Dealer items. Used this on a 2007 Acura TL with absolutely no issues, great value. Looked up a video on Youtube on how to replace and had it done in just a few minutes with simple tools, great savings from the dealer quote for such an easy job. - Air Filters - Air Filter - Air Conditioning - Passenger Compartment Air Filter'
