I ordered this because I had another older model which has a bad battery and this one according to the description comes with two batteries. I could have just bought a replacement battery for less money, but bought this because I would then have two working units. Only one battery was delivered.

If I wanted a new unit with one battery, I would have bought the 18 volt unit. Skil 2240-01 12-Volt 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver Kit

The product description says it includes 2 rechargeable batteries, but only 1 was included. I already have one of these drills and it does a good job for me and I wanted another one (with 2 batteries!) for a backup. Because the second drill kit had only 1 battery, I returned it.

This thing isn't a powerhouse, but is great for a DIY novice or average American. It did NOT come with a second battery but was still worth the money. The carrying case is cool. Surge Protectors - outlet, power strip

I work in the IT industry, so every time people move offices they come to me for a power strip. I buy these power strips regularly because:

1. They have seemed to protect adequately for surges

2. They are very compact

3. They are cheap!!!!

4. The big one-- the power switch is on the side where the power cable exits the strip. This has a big advantage.

You'd be amazed how many times people, cleaning crews or others accidentally flip the power switch on a power strip that may be under the edge of a desk or in an area that can get bumped but isn't easily seen. That also causes problems because people don't understand why their stuff isn't working. Having the switch on the side dramatically reduces the frequency with which I get calls because "stuff stopped working"... No one ever expects the simple answer and always assume a device has gone bad, etc.

The color fits in with your average office creme color, and unless you are going to get a power squid or UPS I wouldn't spend more on a power strip than the cost of this. Belkin 6-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector

I needed this for my bedside table, for my alarm clocks, cell phone charger, lamp, etc. It is perfect for little things like that. The cord is very short but for what I need to use it for that is okay. I wouldn't use it for anything other than something small like that.

The main downside to it is that it doesn't have a flatter plug. Several surge protectors have that now so it fits closer to the wall, and since this will be going in behind my bed I would've preferred that. That is why it lost a star. Otherwise, it suited my needs perfectly.

This spike bar is awesome and the color is very nice in my opinion. It comes with a warranty protecting all your devices plugged into the product. if your devices get damaged from a shock while plugged in the spike bar then the company will replace it up to a certain dollar amount which i think is $10,000.

This power strip contains a plain and simple design, not much features but does it job under a desk, the slim design fits well in tight space. However there is no light to indicate if the strip is on or not. Overall the build quality seems to be adequate for home or small office use.

Nothing special about this surge protector, but that shouldn't be taken as a negative. This is a solid surge protector at a great price. It provides everything you would expect in a surge protector in this price range. It looks good too. Man, have I been waiting for a product like this for years! Aside from the small wait of transit for the product, it's actually quite worth it.

First Impressions:

-Nicely packaged, sealed on the corners

-USB port is wrapped and taped to prevent transit damage

-cable is nice and long, I think a little over 6 ft

-You can tell the item is new when you try it, the buttons click like a normal NES would, some excessive use will break it in just fine

Mapping was quite easy with all online emulators, I was up and running within 1 minute.

Start and select buttons have a nice rubbery feel to it

I ordered two of these controllers from Game Closeout for my NES emu. I'm using Nestopia, for those who are curious. I ordered at night, the product shipped the next day, and I had the controllers delivered to my house the following day. The packaging was nice and crisp, the design made to look like Nintendo packaging, complete with 8-bit graphics and fonts. Although the controller is USB Plug'n'Play, the first thing I did was configure the controllers in NEStopia. The controller felt a bit lighter than I remembered, but seemed about the right size. I didn't experience any of the problems with the D-pad others seem to have had; not sure if that had anything to do with the fact that I pre-configured, but the D-pad didn't feel as if it needed to be broken in. I tested the controllers on Super Mario Bros. 3 and Donkey Kong Classics, the latter of which is notorious for having Mario getting stuck at the top of the ladder if you don't move up all the way. I had no problems and everything seemed to work flawlessly. The B & A buttons seem to stick a bit, making a noticeable clicking sound, but this didn't impede gameplay, and I'm certain this will go away after some "breaking in". The only issue I had was the giant "Made in China" sticker in the back, which seemed out of place on a Nintendo controller, but since that can be easily removed, it's not that big of a deal. Definitely a worthy buy for all you emu-geeks...

I was a bit skeptical when I first received this controller; the label on the front of it wasn't stuck on firmly, and the directional control ("left-right-up-down") didn't seem 100% accurate. The label of course, was a simple matter of sticking it on firmly. The directional control works great now, after a quick break-in period.

Let me say first that anyone that says this is just like the NES controllers of old probably never owned or used one for any length of time. The feel is not very much at all like the original; I say that so definitively because I do still, to this day, use my original NES purchased in 1987. The controller is demonstrably lighter than the original (no doubt because the circuitry needed has shrunk so much since the original) and the buttons are obviously cheaply made. More to the point the mechanical switches are much stiffer and clunkier than the original controller and are poorly balanced, so roll-off during gameplay can sometimes be a problem. One particular plus for this controller is that, despite no advertised support, it does work properly for Apple OS X on at least the most common emulators so, if you're looking for an NES-style joystick for your Mac then look no further.

The problems notwithstanding, the controller is probably the best you're going to do barring finding an unused NES controller and having a degree in electrical engineering.

The product looks and feels quite good, very much like the authentic one. When I first plugged it in everything went well, until I tried playing a game with it. Every time I pressed the A, B, Start or Select buttons, the device would fail. I opened it up and it turned out to be faulty connections. There were scratches across the board where solder had clearly gone across contacts and had to be removed, and one of the parts wasn't actually connected to the board. Once the solder was all cleaned up and everything connected it worked fine, and handles well just like a real NES controller. But having to do repairs straight out of the box means it gets a low rating.

Just got it in the mail today, Plugged it in, Mapped the controls and flash backs from my childhood began.

Description doesnt mention it, but its running perfect with my Windows 7 home premium 64 bit system.

No complaints yet, If something goes wrong ill come back and write another review, but as of right now I love it.

Nes usb controller cost roughly $18 (with shipping, seller four nine boy). Unlike the more popular more expensive controllers that you can find elsewhere on amazon (did not order any others going by reviews) The D-pad works perfectly and the start/select buttons are rubber rather than plastic (but not rounded on the top like an original controller). No drivers to install, just plug and play. I mapped the controls for my NES roms using Glovepie and I have perfect response with all of the buttons and no problems whatsoever. There is no nintendo logo like the original however this is understandable because of copyrights. Good build quality. Overall great controller. - Retro - Usb - Controller - Nintendo'

Graphic Tablet - drawing tablet, digital tablets

I just got my CTE450K today. It's sold as refurbished but appeared to be brand new to me. It works great! I recently got the latest Bamboo pen tablet and decided to get this one, too, to compare the features and performance (we have more than one computer).

Features this has that the latest Bamboo pen doesn't:

- The mouse. I've read negative comments about the mouse before. I don't know what they mean. I like the mouse a lot. It's comfortable, precise, and it lets me share the same space for the tablet and mouse (more convenient than using a separate conventional mouse).

- The eraser end of the pen. This lets you flip the pen over to erase instead of having to choose the eraser tool in your program and then choose your drawing tool again. Nice to have!

- The touch ring: this lets you scroll and zoom with your finger. It works well, but it's not a huge deal to me.

- The programmable buttons: I really like having buttons to program keystrokes and functions for quick access.

- The included software: this Bamboo Fun includes Photoshop Elements and Painter Essentials (and more). With the latest Bamboo, you get one or the other, depending which model you order.

The tablet works very well, just like the latest Bamboo. The latest Bamboo has a few less features to lower the price (I assume). This previous version has all the features and originally sold at a higher price. But with these refurbished ones, you get the extra features and actually pay less than for the latest Bamboo! I highly recommend these as the way to go compared to the latest Bamboo pen.

(Note: the latest Bamboo comes in versions that support finger touch in addition to the pen functionality. I didn't get one of those, as it didn't seem worth the higher price for what I was going to do with it (artwork and photo editing). My recommendation of this version over the latest applies to the pen-only versions of the latest Bamboo. If you want finger touch (including multi-touch), you'll want to go with the latest (and pay more).)

About the size: I debated quite a bit between pads with 4x6 active area and 6x8. This was before trying a tablet. Now that I've used the 4x6 tablets for a while, I'm quite sure it's the perfect size. The 6x8 would have me moving my hand/arm much more than I'd prefer, and it would take up more desk space. There's plenty of resolution in the 4x6 area for all the precision I'll ever need.

This is a great product and I'm extremely happy with mine. Just a few points that others haven't touched on...

The first thing I'd like to address is what "refurbished" means, as there seems to be some confusion, based on the general tone of other reviews, as well as having talked to many people in my four or so years of working in retail electronics. It doesn't mean that it was an old, used item that was collected out of the trash and dusted off. It just means that someone bought it and returned it, either for a minor defect or simply because they didn't want it. Then the manufacturer fixed the defect (if any), and then tested the product to make sure it works (because they don't want to see it again.)

In many ways a refurbished product can be BETTER than "new" because of the amount of care and testing that it goes through where a new product might not. They make sure it works because if it gets returned again as defective that's a lot of money down the drain. In fact I think the only reason they sell them at a discount is simply because there's a lot of stigma attached to the word "refurbished". Their loss, your gain. A generally better than retail product for half the retail price.

So, on to the product...

I chose this model over the newest model because of all the features, like the programmable buttons, the touch wheel, and the mouse. They thought of everything with this model, from the way it can tell when you flip the pen over to use the eraser to the pen stand. Yes, the stand! It has a hole if you want it to hold the pen upright, but it also has a groove across the top if you want to lay the pen down sideways, which is one of those little details that makes Wacom great. I find I store mine upright, but when using the mouse or keyboard I lay it down because it's quicker and the stand keeps it from rolling away.

Another thing I like is that you can set the pen to track like a tablet, where every point on the pad corresponds to a point on the screen (put the point of the pen in the upper-right corner of the pad and the cursor appears at the upper-right corner of the screen.) OR you can have it track like a mouse, where you drag across the pad, pick the pen up and move it, and then move it along the pad again and the cursor picks up where you left off, just like it would with a mouse or laptop touchpad.

In my preparations to buy one, I've seen a lot of reviews for these where people complain that it's hard to do some everyday tasks, as if they bought it solely to replace their mouse, and I would argue that it's not really want these are for. If you do use it to replace your mouse, I would change the tracking to "mouse style" and it should make things easier as the cursor will move smoothly rather than jumping around to specific spots on the screen. But keep in mind that generally these are intended for doing digital art and digital handwriting, not so much for moving files around and navigating the internet. Not saying it can't be done, but don't buy one and then be frustrated.

I can't say enough good things about it, and certainly not much more than what others have said. I guarantee that if you've been doing digital art with just a mouse, this will instantly double or even triple the range of things you can do. It takes a little practice, but not much. It's really not a whole lot different than using a pen or marker on a piece of paper, except you have infinite colors, infinite shapes, and infinite redos. =o) - Drawing - Drawing Tablet - Digital Tablets - Computer Accessories'

Latitude Battery - long life, d630

I purchased this No-Name battery for my home D620 laptop. Later I placed this battery side-by-side my co-workers Dell-branded D620 batteries. Every molding nuance was identically replicated - ejector pin placement, gating, parting lines, flash, texture, label blank size & placement, etc. For those knowing nothing about plastics, it means the housing for this Dell and No-Name came off the same mold. When this battery eventually dies, I'll dismantle it and compare the internals to a Dell-branded battery. After a month of ownership this No-Name battery maintains a 3+ hour charge.

This battery had no problems connecting and entered smoothly. I am getting about and average of 3.5 hours of battery life while my laptop does some crazy multitasking. I have not had any problems yet and hope not to but for now it has been great for the price.

Not much to say,

I was afraid not buying the original dell battery - for no good reason.

This battery does exactly what it is supposed to do for 1/3 of the price (compared to original dell battery).

If you hesitate - don't. Just get one.

This seller claim this laptop battery has 1 year warrenty, but when I tried to get a replacement, they said it has been more than 60 days so they wouldn't do replacement.

Everyone, DO NOT BUY from this vendor!!!! I would pay little more from Dell to get better customer service.

This battery is an excellent upgrade when you need the extra life off the cord. For most average computer work I get about 4 hours of work time. Obviously running DVD's will cut that time, but yuou can easily watch an entire movie and still have some time left for work. Even the little wrist rest is not much of an annoyance.

Bought this not sure what to expect for the cheap price compared to Dell's batteries, it snapped right in and had 49% charged already. Let it get a full charge and now at full charge it usually last 3.5 to 4 hrs. Had it for about 2 weeks with no problems what so ever.

I bought it a month ago and so far it works. It replaced the original Dell battery which lasted 17 months, costs three times as much, was not covered under warranty, and when new had a shorter life between recharging. Keep in mind that this and other longer life batteries are larger than the original battery. If you purchase an aftermarket battery during the warranty period, keep the original and reinstall it if you ever need a warranty repair.

My wife ordered one for her D630 for a Christmas gift, and I got one for my D620 for Valentine's Day (when we think of romantic gifts, we think of Amazon). The batteries are working fine -- better than 3 hours' service. They fit well, despite the clunky "wrist rest" that evidently holds the extra 3 cells.

It matches my Dell XPS laptop as it said it should. My old battery wouldn't last half an hour after 2 years, this replacement keeps my hardware going up to 4 hours, usually 3 when I'm running some research simulations (processor intensive).

After looking on Dell's site and on Amazon I chose this battery for the low cost and expected life. While the battery does not last nearly as long as claimed, with my laptop on full bright and Wi-Fi I still get about 2.5hrs per charge. Add to that the fact that the charge only takes about 90 mins to go from nothing to top and goes to trickle after so as not to burn the thing down.

Battery's for Dell's are garbage regardless of the brand/make/model. It is just a fact that they did not design these with battery life as any sort of concern. That being said I will happily buy another one when this one dies. Life for Money cannot be beat. 17 Inch Laptop Backpack - laptop bag, belkin

Just in case you wanted to buy Belkin Slim Backpack- don't... This one is way better! The material is very good quality, will last forever, unlike the slim backpack that is made of neoprene. Plus this one is as slim and lite and looks as good.

There are two main compartments inside and a zipper pocket outside. The laltop compartment is padded for better protection, it won't feet a 17", only 15" or smaller. Second compartment is spacious enough for a book or two and it also has a pen holder, a smaller zipper pocket and a couple other things that will hold small items. You also get a removable pouch that easily fits charger which is convinient.

The straps of this backpack are padded as well and are adjustable.

I am used to over-the-shoulder laptop bags to carry my computer, files and other miscellaneous items. After a while, I started experiencing shoulder and back pain from the heaviness of the bag. The Belkin bag may not be "pretty", but it's still stylish and not bulky at all which is why I love it. I use the Belkin bag to hold: my laptop, some files, a small notebook, pens, cell phone, umbrella, and my work heels comfortably. When I carry it on my back, I can barely feel the weight because it's now equally distributed instead of solely on my right shoulder. I walk about 1.5 miles per day commuting to/from work and I have never felt any pain since using this bag. However, if you're a student hoping to haul several textbooks and notebooks, this isn't the bag for you. I love this bag because it's slim and not bulky, but I also don't have a lot to carry around. When I first wore the Belkin bag to work, two of my female co-workers immediately wanted to try it out because they were also experiencing the shoulder and back pain from carrying too much weight on one shoulder. Both have purchased this bag after trying it out for a day. I discovered this bag was waterproof during the second week and that was an added bonus. If you don't have a ton to carry around, then this is the bag for you and I highly recommend it to anyone.

This is an amazing bag. I was looking around the web for a few hours and I finally decided to buy this bag. The slim version of this bag must be tiny because this bag is quite small. But not too small, i put my 15' macbook pro/ a medium sized text book/ two 2 subject notebooks/ a slim hard drive/ the wires for the hard drive/ psp go/ iphone/ computer charger/ my tapes for my video camera and pens and pencils. These all fit and it keeps a very slim presence it is not even stretching. I find that it can do this because of the way that they have placed the bags on the back back in such a way that everything is spread out and fits wonderfully. The laptop holder is padded so I am not worried about my laptop breaking and the media holder is wonderful. I put my psp go there and it actually cleans the screen every time i get it out. I am very glad that the reviews pointed me towards this bag it is the best laptop backpack that i have ever had.

I purchased this bag in early June for a 15.6" Toshiba Satellite L500 laptop. It fits perfectly. The bag is low profile and light-weight. By low profile, I mean that it doesn't project far away from the user's back. Since the weight is kept close to the wearers back and center of gravity, it helps reduce back strain. The outside of the pack is also very minimalist. Lacking the netting, multiple zippers, pockets, etc that tend to clutter up other laptop back packs. This bag has the look of a very compact parachute. In my opinion it does not scream "laptop bag" like other bags do.

As far as storage it comfortably holds my laptop in a padded, felt-lined cradle that sits up against the wearer's back. Further out there's a cavity that goes all the way to the floor of the bag. I'd say it's suitable for 1-2 average sized books or 4-5 paperback novels placed edge to edge in a single layer. I finished college long ago but if I were to estimate, I'd say it could hold a freshman level biology or chemistry book along with 1 spiral notebook, a TI-89 (or comparable), and writing utensils. There's also a small concealed pocket on the outside that could hold a student ID, keys and some cash. The bag also comes with what can best be described as a small banker's purse. It's a rectangular bag mabey 11x5 or so with a zipper along one edge. It's designed to hold your charging cord and helps keep the inside of the pack tidy. This bag is not suitable for students looking to carry a full days worth of books.

I've found this bag to be very comfortable to wear and it's a great size for travel. It's compactness makes it great for getting up and down tight airplane isles or crowed security lines. I'd gladly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a smaller but adequate laptop bag.

After looking for hours I decided on this bag, but when it came in it is very small, so I sent it back. I am an older grad student that goes straight from class to work, so I needed something that I could carry my laptop and class material in, looked as mature as possible, had good organization for my other personal items (cell, wallet, keys etc) and most importantly affordable. The price for this one can't be beat, and I have recommended it to friends even though I didn't keep it. There were 2 main reasons I sent it back: 1) once my laptop was loaded in I probably had room for one course pack (spiral bound 1.5 inch) and a composition book, I don't carry a ton of books, but more than that and 2) there is no dedicated pen, pencil, phone pocket...the little card slot organizer (pretty lacking) is just on the inside of the main compartment which would become a nightmare I'm sure.

Panasonic Lumix - point and shoot, leica lens

I am not a camera or photography aficionado, so I cannot offer a super technical review -- of which the electronics section here on Amazon is replete with -- however what I can say, from a layman's perspective, is that this camera is unimaginably magnificent.

I got this camera for my birthday and I simply wanted a camera that would provide a good, high-quality and affordable upgrade to my six megapixel Samsung camera that I bought three years ago - also for my birthday. Without even a modicum of hesitation, I can proudly say that this Panasonic camera more than exceeded my expectations.

The 14 MP camera takes clear and crisp photographs and has a smorgasbord of different settings to make the pictures you take precisely how you want it. You can adjust your camera setting before you snap your picture, and you can also conveniently edit it after you take your picture. So you can never really take bad pictures. I find the settings to be really great.

I also wanted a camera that would be good for action pictures. Often times, on my previous camera, I would take moving photographs and the pictures would come out blurry and you can tell that it was taken in motion. In contrast, this camera is wholly different. I tested out several moving pictures and the camera adroitly captures the moment I want captured beautifully, without any kind of visible motion blurriness.

However, I leave the best aspect of this camera till last: the unthinkably great HD video capture. When buying a camera I wanted something that could capture HD videos so I can record different moments in film and store them, and perhaps something that would be good for YouTube videos: I found it. This video camera records gloriously crisp and colorful 720p HD. As good as the quality of the photo camera itself is, I think the video capture function is remarkably better. You simply just cannot fault it.

I have never really been a Panasonic person. I know their stuff is purportedly of good quality and durable, but I have just never bought a product other than batteries. However, after buying this magnificent camera, I think I'll be investing in a lot more Panasonic products.

I went in with pretty low expectations, and came out thoroughly impressed.

Needless to say, I have been taking a whole lot of pictures on this thing.

By the way, for the record, I haven't yet read the instruction manual, yet I have no problem operating the camera. I think that speaks wonders of its ease of use. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch Touch-Screen LCD (Black)

I love this camera mostly because of its size, most other cameras of the same size don't take as nice pictures. Its super easy to carry around so you'll end up taking more pictures because you won't mind having it with you all the time. The Intelligent Auto works pretty well and it has face and scene detection which is great, along with really good image stabilization. Battery life on this thing is great too, You can take about 800-1000 pictures with this thing before you have to charge the battery.

My only con is the low-light capability, its pretty poor. Outdoor or indoors with adequate lighting makes for some excellent pictures, but in low light the pictures come out pretty grainy. And the flash on this camera is rather weak so that doesn't help much either. You can raise the ISO up and it has a High Sensitivity scene mode as well to try to help make the picture come out, but only adds to the grain. Now this is expected in such a compact camera so I'm not docking because of it, but its definitely worth noting if you're looking to take a lot of low-light pictures.

Overall this is a great buy, certainly not gonna take the same quality pics as its big brothers but if you want a simple, good quality compact then this is your camera.

This is a really good camera for a really good price. I was quite pleased with the quality of the photos and the overall look.

The touchscreen feature sometimes doesn't quite work as expected, but with patience it gets the job done.

The 14.1 MP resolution results in great pictures, but the functions are still a little complicated for me... There are many different combinations that can be used which becomes a little too much.

I highly recomend this camera. However, if you have issues with a touchscreen, this camera might not be the one for you, as the touchscreen on it sometimes doesn't respond.

I am really pleased with my purchase.

i`m fairly happy with my purshase, the camera has a really nice small size that lets me carry it in my pocket without any nonesense (its smaller than my wallet). Takes good pictures and great HD video quality even when shooting small detail things like necklaces for example. The inteligent mode does a great job recognizing the scene and its a very simple camera easy to work.

The major failure I`ve come to notice is that in playback function upon zooming and scrolling the picture the touch panel does a lousy job and its function becomes rubish. Other than that the combination touch panel- real buttons do a great job.

I would recomend this camera specially for the price, but advice to look around for better options if touch panel isnt your thing or u can manage with a camera bit larger and not so stylish. - Lumix - Digital Camera - Point And Shoot - Leica Lens'
