Led Mini Flashlight - led mini flashlight, flashlight

The name/model of this flashlight is pretty impressive-sounding with all those numbers and letters, but I must admit, it functions as well as the photos and description show. I really wanted a flood-type light, and some were available (as it says in the description) from an 'overseas' source. And, I was dubious about buying from them. So, I opted for this one, and I'm not disappointed. For the flood characteristic of the spot-to-flood zoom, the light covers an entire wall from the distance of 'standing in a doorway of an average size (apt.) bedroom'. And, there's just a little loss of light (althouh there IS some) when you zoom-out to 'flood'. But, there's no black spot throughout the zooming range (unlike those old krypton zoom flashlights that took a decent spot, and simply diffused it beyond useability when you spread the light to a 'flood area'.) I have to say something negative, so I'll say that I wish it fit the hand a little better. I like the diameter of a Maglight, and this one is only the diameter of a CR123 battery. But at least it has a nice size lanyard that fits around the wrist to give you a more ceratin 'grip'. By the way, there are some Amazon merchants selling this item at around $40, and I recommend not going over that price...that's what I paid (with real inexpensive shipping added on). STOP looking, this is the one! This is the brightest compact flashlight I have ever seen in my 30 years of law enforcement. It is bright enough to light up a roof top, dark alleys and search open fields. I have owned MANY flashlights and in my career and this is a no nonsense solution to extremely bright light in the palm of your hand. The light output is superior to s***fire and b***khawk products which cost over $100.00. Two quality checks that I will need to make is: how will it hold up in police work and battery life? MOST flashlights that use the 3 volt lithium batteries require regular battery replacement. The batteries lasted several months with daily use and works GREAT! HIGHLY recommend! Purchased an additional light April 2010!

Pros:

Brighter than ANY other LED light I have ever seen (including expensive 30 LED lights).

Adjustable beam (this is why I bought this light over Smith and Wesson Luxeon Rebel 5 Watt Tactical Flashlight).

No dark circle, ever, just even, bright, white light.

Compact, with roll guards on it.

Considering what you're getting, the price is great.

Very durable and feels good in your hand.

Cons:

Takes an odd photo battery type (CR123A) at about $2 per battery.

Batteries don't last but about 13 hours (according to the packaging, but I haven't experimented with this yet).

Summary:

I bought this light mainly because the picture shows no blind spots, which I hate in a flashlight. The square spotlight beam is also a good feature because I find it more useful than a normal circle beam. Don't think that when it comes to LED flashlights, the more bulbs the better, look for flashlights like this one that have either a Luxeon Rebel or Cree LED bulb (one of these bulbs can do what 20 or 30 of others can). Another great thing about this flashlight is that it is so bright that when the power goes out at my house, you can turn on the light, point it at a light colored cieling, and the entire room will light up enough to do almost anything you could with power. This light is so good, in fact, I'm ordering 3 of another model of this light (Nu-Flare Ultra- Compact 78R91AA Luxeon Rebel 90 6W LED Flashlight - Zoom Focus, Use One AA Battery 100 Lumens, Bright and Efficient) to stock my house with.

I recently read the other review on this product and went on search for comparable flashlights at $40-$90. On E-Bay there are a lot of overestimated specs. and inflated descriptions. I recently bought a $20 xenon lamp powered by (2) CR123 batteries and not only did this Rebel 90 blow it away as to brightness, it also smoked the competition in correct white color, instead of that yellow tint. It definitely is a no brainer and I highly recommend it. I use this flashlight to commute (walk) to a bus station in the early morning hours and can attest to the fact that this product could possibly even save your life! A night time in a possible threat or mugging this blinding light could be the only weapon you need to protect yourself. Consider one for your loved one, what could hurt, especially at the reduced price of $40. Save your money on Stramlight or SureFire and buy this instead!!!

Well made, BRIGHT. The focus system that provides almost uniform lighting across the focus range. There's a center brighter spot though. But you won't find yourself twisting or moving the light to clarify something you're trying to look at. The switch end has a six sided design that keeps the light from rolling.

Small as it is, you probably won't want to hold this in your mouth while you work on something. It's also lighter in weight than some of the similarly sized "machined aluminum" lights. Nice gift. - Led Flashlight - Led Mini Flashlight - Flashlight - Luxeon'

I serve in a restaurant and need a stapler to organize my checks, credit card slips, and coupons. We have 2 at work that float around and are never located where they are needed. So I bought this assuming that I could trust any Swingline stapler to be great. I don't like to complain, but this stapler has given me some difficulty. I prefer to write positive reviews, so I'll try my best to not be too negative. I'll keep it in the pro vs con + comments setup

Pros:

This stapler is small, lightweight, and relatively durable (especially the outer case). The outer case completely encloses the mechanism and keeps most debris out. It's comfortable to keep in a pants pocket or apron pocket and can easily fit in almost any bag/purse with room to spare. There is a primitive staple remover built into the base which is also durable. It functions as advertized under the right conditions. It uses standard-sized staples. It has a key-chain clip that seems rugged.

Cons:

As I mentioned I've had some difficulty with this product. This stapler is not very intuitive. To use this stapler from it's closed, protected position you must open it to 90 degrees using two hands, lock in the operational mechanism using two hands, and then close it slightly without using too much pressure as to not waste a staple. Also the stapler is prone to jamming.

You must only have one continuous chain of staples loaded at a time or it will jam. You must keep at least 4 or 5 staples loaded when you use it or it will jam. You must not use too much force when stapling or it will jam. You must make sure that you press the mechanism all the way down when stapling and make sure it does not come back up too quickly or it will jam. When the stapler is in it's operational position you have to be careful about bumping it or dropping it or the staples could fly out and it may jam.

The metal piece that holds the staples is a little flimsy and can bend out of shape under normal operating conditions (which might also cause it to jam). The stapler can not sit upright on a flat surface. And lastly (not exactly a big con) you can't select a specific color (mine is metallic pink which not exactly a color I would've chosen in a store).

Other Comments:

I wish Swingline had kept to their usual awesome standard with this product. It's made out of mostly durable material, it's not terribly designed, and it does actually function properly under good conditions. But when I'm at work I have to stop everything I'm doing for a minute or so to use this stapler. It's jammed several times and I have ended up having to just give up on it and put off my organization until later. But it's still better than having to look around for 10 mins to find a stapler and I have learned to function with its quirks after a few shifts. It was only $5 (I even got it with free super-saver shipping) and I'm not completely unsatisfied with it. I will probably buy a better one to use at work if I find one, but I'll be keeping this one just in case. This stapler blows my mind. It is a bit tricky to figure out at first. Once you do it will be a great companion for any student that likes to be prepared. 12 sheets no problem. Truly dependable and durable.

I have looked extensively for a small stapler to carry in my bag. It seems like I've had one of every kind. The design of this stapler is really ingenious. I've never seem anything like it and it could have been a great find if it had been made better. It's plastic (of course!) and I have little faith that it will hold up over time. In order to staple, you need to slide a button which moves a mechanism inside. It's really hard to slide and I always forget which way to slide it, so I never know if it's stuck or I'm pushing the wrong way. If this was made of metal and executed well, I'd pay $40 for it. I hate that the mentality now is buy one and when it breaks, just buy another. Grrr.

I bought this product because of the good reviews. Well, I got mine and hate it. It is a good idea, but is poorly made and doesn't work well. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. I would pay a few extra bucks and get a more quality product.

This is a cute little stapler and very portable. I keep it in my backpack for the times it is needed. It has the advantage of using standard staples although you will need to break a stick to make them fit.

It came a little stiff and hard to slide into operating position, hopefully it will loosen up over time.

Incredible Hulk - spider-man, marvel comics

While the old Video Treasures VHS release of the Captain America serial actually claimed on the box to contain comic-book style adventures of Captain America and Bucky fighting the Nazis, hopefully purchasers of this DVD will know they are getting a fairly typical Republic serial of its period, with no connection to the comic book beyond the name and costume. It has been plausibly suggested that the scenario was originally developed for Mr. Scarlet, a Fawcett comics hero who was secretly District Attorney Brian Butler and was aided by his secretary, who knew of his double identity; like Captain America, Mr. Scarlet was originally drawn by Jack Kirby. Timely Comics apparently was so pleased by Republic's previous adaptations of the Fawcett characters Captain Marvel and Spy Smasher that they offered Republic the serial rights to Captain America at no charge, and Republic decided to switch the story to the much better known character--or at least to switch the name and costume. Timely reportedly was not pleased with the resulting mongrelized portrayal; and in any case, as others have noted, there is no rationale for the D.A. character to don any costume at all, since he gets into the exact same type of scrapes whether in costume or not. Despite that, and unusually for a mid-forties Republic serial, really solid performers are cast as both heroes and villains (usually one or the other fell short); on the downside (also unusually), some special effects are almost pathetic, though others are as terrific as expected. The fight scenes, the main selling point for most Republic serials, are certainly good, but, oddly, less reminiscent of Simon and Kirby's comic-book fight scenes than those in many other cliffhangers from the studio. As for the DVD itself, I've seen several copies of this serial on VHS and one other on DVD, apparently all deriving from the same film original, and this is second to none: not restored from archival materials, but very watchable quality from public domain collector sources. ON THE OTHER HAND, the fifteen "chapter" breaks on the DVD do not in any way correspond to the actual fifteen chapters of the serial!!! So if you watch one chapter, put the DVD away, and come back to watch the next chapter a day or a week later--the recommended way to watch these old serials at home--you are going to have some trouble finding where it was you left off. People, this is not the way to do it--there is just no excuse for not making the DVD chaptering match the actual chapters of the serial. (As of August 2010, CultRetro, the video alter ego of A. C. Comics, is offering this serial on 2 discs with correct chaptering.) Captain America

Captain America is a fine serial, if you don't mind that it is not faithful to the comic books. Lionel Atwill as the villain is good, the direction is good, and Lorna Grey as the D.A.'s assistant is great. In this day and age of high quality DVDs, though, I was expecting a much better presentation. First of all, you can't select the chapters from the menu! There's just no excuse for that. The menu contains 3 items: a Lone Ranger trailer, a Hound of the Baskervilles trailer, and Captain America. Click on "Captain America" and it begins playing 4 hours of 15 chapters all strung together! If you don't watch all 4 hours all in one sitting, good luck finding your place again. Or say there's a chapter you really like and you want to pull out this DVD and watch it. Forget it; you'll spend all day trying to find where it starts. My biggest complaint, though, is that the picture quality is poor and the sound gets fuzzy. Watching this DVD feels like watching a VHS tape, and a poor quality one at that. (Maybe a tape would be preferable since you would be able to resume watching where you left off.) I suspect that squeezing 4 hours of video onto one DVD-R disk took it's toll on the picture and sound quality. Anyway, you have probably gathered that this is not the official DVD issued by the copyright owner, and it pales in comparison to official DVDs like Superman - The 1948 & 1950 Theatrical Serials Collection , Batman - The Complete 1943 Movie Serial Collection , or Batman and Robin - The Complete 1949 Movie Serial Collection .

Perhaps I'm seeing a later-generation release of this title, but I found the release to be acceptable. Yes, releasing this title (a 15-chapter serial) on a single DVD-R does create some compression artifacts....but it's far from terrible. My copy has chapter stops for each episode. The source print is rough, but I've never seen a better print for this particular serial. Until Paramount decides to release their vault materials (never) for some of these titles, this is probably about as good as we'll see on DVD.

This serial has nothing to do with the original comic book Captain America but is still entertaining. Some people considered the star, Dick Purcell, to be pudgy but this is simply not so. He just had a more realistic body type than a male growth hormone guzzling freak like Sylvester Stallone. The men of Dick Purcell's era had survived the Great Depression and when they were hungry they ate meat and potatoes. Go take a look at your own gut sometime! Overall, Purcell made a pretty good serial hero, tough enough to do the job convincingly, a reasonably good actor, not wearing his angst and self doubt on his shirt sleeve like some modern sissy boy hero. While not as great as Buster Crabbe or Tom Tyler, he was better than Kirk Alyn (sorry, Kirk).

This serial has lots of excellent fight scenes and great cliff hangers. Also, there is a sequence where Captain America rides the Republic motorcycle, which was also seen in 'Spy Smasher.' The villain, Lionel Atwill, is probably one of the best serial villains, perhaps even better than Charles Middleton as Emperor Ming.

Perhaps it would have been wiser to do this in the usual 12 chapters, as opposed to 15, but then again, if I minded wasting my time, why would I watch these old serials? Overall, this is a pretty good serial, and as such it has a higher value for escapist fun than most modern super-heroic cinema.

One significant criticism I will make, however, is the inexplicable exclusion of all references to WWII. When it's WWII out there, and you have Captain America, a character created to fight WWII, yet the story has nothing to do with WWII, well, that is an awfully big elephant in the room. It would be akin, say, to a nation that spends $200 million a day for 9 years on a war, with the public having no reliable knowledge of the causes, progress, or effects of the war. - Iron Man - Incredible Hulk - Spider-man - Marvel Comics'

Waste Of Money - easy to use, safe

This is truly a portable as far as weight is concern. The only deficiencies I see in this model is the rather flimsy blade height adjusting wheel, and the absence of a zero clearance blade plate option, which plate is also shimmed rather poorly because they are loose and rather not easy to reposition once you remove the plate to change blades. Other than that is a fine little machine with a powerful motor and nice stand. For the money you can't go wrong, it'll do the same job as other much more expensive 10" saws. It's kind of a Deja VU to the old Makita little "Green" portable that I used to own, and was looking for when I came across this one. Rockwell RK7240.1 13 Amp 10-Inch Table Saw with Stand

While the reviews were less than sterling, I didn't think it could be that bad. My mistake.

I ordered this saw as a gift for my son, who lives with his family on the other side of the country. He has a limited amount of space and limited need for a table saw. But, during a visit, we're building some shelving for their home and thought it would be helpful to have a saw.

This was NOT the right choice. Example: the included miter gauge is made of cheap plastic, will not hold a 90 degree angle.

Can't buy an aftermarket replacement, since guide slot is non-standard 5/8-inch. The fence is cheap and not at all accurate. Cheap plastic handles fall off the bevel/height adjustment spinners.

I'm surprised that Amazon would actually carry something as poorly made as this product.

This table saw is a joke. It is made of plastic. It cannot stay steady or balanced. I broke the saw guard within the first ten minutes of use. I tried to send back to Amazon, but I didn't use it within the time period for a full refund, so I was only able to get a partial refund. Believe me though, the partial refund is better than having this piece of junk.

Saw had an alignment problem. Splitter was bent, causing a blockage of wood piece.

Had to bend splitter. Guard locking handle will cause blockage, if above table height. After adjustments, saw has plenty of power and for the price is O.K.item.

Needed to be able to rip window trim at a remote site. A table saw would be much easier for the task than a skill saw. I was looking for something at or below $100 - this saw fit the bill. Did everything I needed it to, fence was kind of clunky, had to check measurements constantly. I was most disapointed that the blade height was only 2-1/4" to 2-1/2" max and it was advertized as 3" - oh well, I didn't expect precision. It did the job - only wish it was a little beefier.

My chief complaint is the blade wore out very quickly. The stand will also have to be reinforced or replaced.

Additionally, I found that the bevel setting did not hold well at all. After using it less than two months for home use, the bevel setting began to shift about 5 degrees.

I contacted Amazon, and I was informed that they would do nothing to help me resolve the issue because it was not covered any longer by them. They told me that it was my problem to figure out a solution and I should just deal with it. However, upon contacting Rockwell, they said they would send out a new tool within 7 to 10 business days. I will get it in less than 5 business days. Rockwell was great to deal with. Amazon however proved their quality of customer service to me. Grantwood Technology - ipad accessory, ipad case

Super simple! I wanted a protective sleeve for my iPad and this is exactly what it is. It fits the iPad perfectly and has a really soft inside to keep it scratch free. I like to hold the iPad "naked" when I use it and just place it back in the sleeve when I'm finished. Sometimes I set it on top of the sleeve when I use it too. I like how I can put the iPad in the sleeve and still charge it and the colors, nothing obnoxious!, mostly all black, including the black inside. I needed a sleeve that would be as slim as possible while also accommodating a small, hardshell case on the back of the iPad. I also wanted it to be synthetic, to meet my hippie, vegan sensibilities.

This sleeve fits the bill perfectly. It seems to have the right balance between padding and thinness, and it fits the iPad like a glove. The zipper is even aligned so that you can match it up with the 30 pin charging port and connect the charging cable while leaving the iPad in its sleeve. (Hopefully that will keep my cats away from it).

The quality of the Grantwood sleeve's construction far exceeds what I expected at this price point.

I've had the Grantwood iPad sleeve for a few weeks now. I am in a wheelchair and often carry things on my lap, which is the case with my iPad. The Grantwood enables me to quickly encase and protect the unit. It has the kind of surface that makes for an easy grip without a hard squeeze and the whole thing really clings to my lap while I roll around. The case has an inner and outer layer of fabric with a firm layer of padding in between. You will pass the iPAd around with no worry about dropping it. However, if you should drop the bundle, I feel pretty sure that there is enough padding sewn into the case to prevent any damage. I like the king size zipper teeth on the case also -- there will be no stuck zipper on this baby!

I first bought the M-Edge Touring iPad Sleeve for my iPad and kept using it with my iPad2. All went well until I fell in love with the iPad2 leather smart cover.

The problem? I loathed 'trying' to fit my iPad2 with its pricey leather smart cover into the stiff M-Edge Touring iPad Sleeve.

The simple solution? I bought the Grantwood gray/black simple sleeve and it works like a charm fitting my iPad2 together with the leather smart cover.

Although this Grantwood Neoprene sleeve is lightly padded, it still offers adequate protection to take knocks in a back pack or while carrying around by hand. Of course, no iPad sleeve is designed for a fall. However, with the Grantwood sleeve, I am reasonably happy that my hefty investment is protected from everyday bumps and knocks.

When I am using my iPad2 for reading, I leave the smart cover behind. The Grantwood neoprene sleeve fits the naked iPad2 with a bit of 'extra room'. However, it's certainly nothing to be alarmed about - the extra space actually make it easier to slip the iPad2 in and out of the neoprene sleeve.

Don't go looking for a sleeve handle - this Grantwood neoprene sleeve has none, but you'll never miss this omission! Neoprene material has such a fantastic grip, that putting a handle on the Grantwood sleeve would indeed be a moot point! ... I love that phrase! :))

I have no hesitation in rating this Grantwood neoprene sleeve a 5 STAR product. Still, it could easily be better if it included a sleeve pocket. Even a tiny side pocket would be handy for storing my Targus 2 in 1 Stylus and Pen.

Hey, I am just harping about the 'no pocket issue'! This is a truly practical iPad sleeve by Grantwood Terchnology at an affordable price!

The SimoleSleeve is perfect. The quality is superb as well as the design. The iPad fits perfectly in the SimpleSleeve and the interior is well padded. I keep the iPad in the Apple case and it still fits in the SimoleSleeve perfectly. The price is also unbeatable. Finally a company is making a great product at a great price. I plan to be a lifelong customer after using the SimoleSleeve.

This case is very well made and the lining is plush. The fit is perfect (not a netbook case rebranded like some) and thick enough to give it protection. There are two zippers tha zip open enough on top to access the power button and the bogong to plug in the connector. If you want a case without all the other gimics and enjoy using the iPad without cases and covers, this is a great buy. Price is great and build quality is awesome.

Pros:

The colors are neutral.

The interior is very soft so it keeps the screen from scratching.

Not bulky or heavy, well built and it has a plastic zipper.

Perfect to keep the iPad safe while stored or in my commuter tote.

Another great plus is that you don't have to remove the iPad skin to store it in this case!

Cons:

Probably not great for fall protection.

Missing an outside pocket for cables, etc.

Xoom Accessory - xoom accessory, xoom cases

I ordered mine sometine in April and 2 days later i got an email that it has been shipped. I ordered a lot of stuff online and i was a little bit worried when it did not come in on my alloted time. I checked Amazon again and found out that there has been some issues with the shipping(being late due to Japan's recent disaster). I emailed amazon last week about it and i got a reply from the seller that it should be shipped within a week, and to show good faith, the seller reimbursed my shipping charges.

The product came in today finally,(4 weeks from date ordered)

My impression with the product is Okay. the material used is of good quality, considering the price, the workmanship and the design has some flaws but i can tolerate it considering the price. It doesn't have that SNUG fit that i expected, but im pretty sure its way better than what Verizon have for $39 bucks.

It's up to you guys...for me, it will protect the Xoom in ways that you use it. I'm sticking with it, maybe there are some other product out there, but im not going to invest another dollar since this one will do the job just fine. I will start with my disappointment in the delivery of the Xoom case, but after some back and forth - the company made good on their promise of a refund and a free case, so I will give them a lot of credit. Since I am reviewing the product itself, I won't give or take away stars for the company delivery itself.

The case itself is a simple design, with cutouts for the rear speakers and rear camera that work very well. However, I am disappointed in the top front cutout which covers up the front camera. You can pull it back so it will work, but that should be made better - if I used the front facing camera I wouldn't be too happy. It stands a bit awkwardly when charging - but that is a Motorola design flaw, not Navitech's.

The closure magnet is not strong - but always seems to keep it closed. The stand adjusts at different levels which is very convenient.

One suggestion would be to add a small pocket for paperwork, but that is a personal preference and something I knew about going into it.

Overall, for the price, I think this is a good deal.

This is really made for Motorola Xoom. Fit nicely, look nice, protect the tablet. My only gripe is the "opening"/hole not exactly at the correct spot. The front hole for camera not at the correct spot , same goes to the speakers and power switch.

Like others said, I ordered and waited but nothing came. I contacted them and got it three days later. They were very nice about it.

It seems well built, nice stitching. The strap along the bottom doesn't lay flat and is starting to get in the way. I'm a bit disappointed that I have to leave it open to plug into the charger. The stand gives it a pretty extream angle, it would be nice if it were adjustable.

It does have a good feel and stops the Xoom from slipping out of my hands and help keep it clean. I'm happy I got this and will recommend it to my three Xoom owning friends.

update; may 6 - after using for a week I thought I'd offer an update. Poor fitting case, my xoom slips out all day long I'm having to shove xoom in tight. Started using xoom upside down so it would stop slipping so much. The extream angle of the stand makes the stand useless. Lea the strap will not lay flat, always having to reach under to press buttons near edge. It's. Not defective or anything, just very poorly designed. I'm not sure if I can return this but I'm going to try. I ordered another case from another company an hour ago.

I placed my order on 3/31 and had a delivery estimate of 4/20 - 4/22. I received it today 5/2. It is a good case and the best option out there. The fit is not perfect but it is good. It looks great and is well worth the twenty dollars (price plus shipping) that I paid.

I finally received my case today, May 02. I ordered the case late on March 28, received the confirmation e-mail March 29. Shipment date was estimated to be April 6-12, and receipt by me April 11-19. I waited until April 25 to send a query via Amazon. Navitech responded April 27 with an apology for the delay, informing me that they shipped another unit and refunded my shipping (confirmed by an email from Amazon), also asking that I please return the second unit (at their expense) if the first ever shows up. Looking at the UK customs shipper declaration label, it was signed and dated (i.e. shipped) on March 29, and obviously the first case.

Now for the sanity check. This is a beautiful case. Genuine leather, excellent fit (Motorola Xoom), expensive look and feel for $14.99! I paid double that for my smaller, simpler Kindle leather cover. Now, everyone should have seen the disclaimers that this item was coming from the UK. Exactly what speed did you expect for $4.49? I have a lot of experience with international shipping and at first thought it must be a typo. When I saw it "ring up", I concluded that it was coming via slowest means and knew the estimated arrival date was wildly optimistic. However, it is a case for a tablet computer, not a transplant organ. I really didn't care when it arrived because it was the only case I found that appealed to me, so I was resigned to the wait. I don't know how they do it for only $4.49, but perhaps Navitech should offer more antsy customers the option of international express shipping. Then they can pay more for shipping than the product itself.

Bottom line: I got a beautifully made genuine leather imported case, with exactly the features I was looking for, for under $20.00US total. And, since this is a PRODUCT review (SELLER reviews appear elsewhere) that is about as five-star as you can get. - Xoom Accessory - Xoom Cases - Xoom Case'

5 Stars sounds really generous, but for the money this is a GREAT Network ready BDP.

This is the third network BDP I have set up and used, I recently reviewed the Samsung BD-P1590 - Blu-Ray disc player - upscaling - Netflix, Pandora against which (for similar money) this is a far superior machine. I also think the picture quality and upscaling for SD DVD's in much better than the similar priced LG BD 370 Network Blu-ray Disc Player

Running several Blu-Ray movies for testing, including BD live enabled content, boot times were very fast. The quick set up guide asks you about this and explains that it uses more power in standby mode, but it's worth it for very quick loading.

Blu Ray looks SUPERB - Panasonic web site says (PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality image-processing technology developed to precisely process each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the vertical direction) Sounds geeky, but the picture is great at both 1080i and 1080p. By default the 24fps is set to off, but if you have a home set up that supports it, it's easy to switch back.

SD Card slot, and USB interface great for home pictures, movies and photo's, very easy to use. Nicely tucked away under a discreet panel in the front so no fiddling among the back wires.

Out of the box set up for networking took me about 15 minutes.

Very easy on screen instruction, easy to use remote, and set up can be either set to easy mode, or you can revisit the main menu at any time for finer adjustments on audio, video output, resolution and aspect ratio etc.

The more involved set up options are however a little limited if you are used to close to pro tweaking on high end visual and audio equipment. But then again, this is an entry level kind of priced machine.

What do you get for network? The VIERA system is a breeze, nice graphics, menu screen and options.

I hard wired mine to the back Ethernet port with a Cat6 cable - Cat5 works without a problem, but for streaming (especially HD content) the Cat6 made the Netflix signal bar light up to HD most of the time.

It is wireless ready. You can use a USB dongle (takes some tweaking) or better still a Linksys by Cisco Dual-Band Wireless-N Gaming and Video Adapter. What's nice is that(unlike Samsung) you don't have to buy a special adapter.

My preference would always be to hard line, but if that's not an option, and you must have wireless (assuming you have boat loads of bandwidth) you can buy an adapter, or pay $80 more and buy it's big brother the Panasonic DMP-BD85 WiFi Enabled Blu-Ray Disc Player (Black)

Whats on the Network?

1)Netflix - unlimited free streaming movies (a lot in HD if your connection is good enough) documentaries, and TV shows from their "Watch Instantly" library, if you are a current subscriber of at least their $8.99 plan - free trial available.

2)Amazon on Demand - Bags of movies and content to rent, buy, or even view free webisodes, trailers, documentaries and so on. Not a huge thing for me personally as I like Netflix, but very nice to have. Simply activate online at Amazon and you're there - very easy on screen user friendly menus.

3)Blomberg - Sort of on screen RSS feed with stocks, bonds and news headlines. Nice to have but not essential.

4) Weather forecast, enter your zip code and set to default, or store multiple sites across the US for up to date weather news and information. Again, not something I need but nice to have.

5)Picasa Web albums - share pictures with friends and family, look at your own, and other albums on your TV. Nice feature.

6)You Tube - browse, or log into your account online

7)Coming Soon?? - Your guess is as good as mine, could be for VUDU or something else, at least they are thinking ahead, and have the settings already started.

What you don't get.....

1)Pandora - a quirky to use online streaming internet radio site that's free with a lot of music. Doesn't float my boat either, I don't like radio sites that choose my music based on a song, or an artist - there are over 30,000 online internet radio stations that are free, Pandora doesn't let you search any particular station in any part of the World, just their selections on what they think you like.

2) Blockbuster Online - unless you have an account and use the in store returns on DVD and Blu stick with Netflix, their watch instantly movies are free with membership.

3)VUDU - next generation 1080p streaming to rent and buy, this would have been nice to have, but I can live without it for now. Amazon more than makes up for it as far as I'm concerned.

4) Any others I may have forgotten about (I'm sure there are more out there)

No 3D - even if the content isn't there yet on BD live, you know it's coming. Only the Sony BDP-S470 Blu-ray Disc Player in this price range is equipped. This would have been nice

No onboard memory - BD live requires a USB or SD, but that's the same for most machines

No VUDU on networking - not a deal breaker, but may be for some.
