Headphone Splitter - belkin, cables

Have you been with your IPod, or mp3 player, experiencing great music or maybe watching a movie and someone appears and ask you what is that your enjoying so much, and although you want to earbud that someone you can't because there is only a pair of headphone and you don't want to miss it? Well that problem is solved with this simple gadget. You just connect two headphones and you and that someone can experience the same thing simultaneously. It is really inexpensive and it does not harm the quality of the music or whatever is it your using your mp3 player for. So it is highly recommended... Belkin F8V234-WHT-APL Headphone Splitter

I probably would have given this item a 5 star review. It works fine and seems to be built well. But there was a slip of paper inside the package that you wouldn't see until you purchased and opened the item. The paper is a mixture of Chinese and English writing warning of hazardous substances found in this item. In this case, the box for Lead is marked.

Now if I had known this has lead in it, I would have looked for a different item. I doubt that even Amazon is aware. My biggest concern is that a parent bought this item for their child (aren't lots of kids using iPods?) and threw the packaging away at Christmas without looking at it. I kept the paper in case Amazon needs to contact me and take a look at it.

it's stable and when you plug your earphone in it won't come out easily which is good and the sound come from the ipod is really good~~ just prefect !! I can share my music with my friend when ever I want

This audio splitter is great. Not only is it white, which in my opinion looks better, and is more "stylish" compared with the generic Black kind. The connectors are also gold plated, though product specs say it is nickel plated, making the audio loss a minimum. I personally bought 3 of these, which I connected into one audio output from my computer resulting in making my one audio output into 4. These splitters work great, since the two female connectors are separate, it doesn't interfere with how big the audio plug is. (for those 3.5mm plugs that are so fat, you have to squeeze to fit other plugs in) I havn't had any problems with these, no audio loss, sound isnt cracking like other splitters. Personally, from my experience these are cheaper in price, but better in quality. Two thumbs up.

Anyone running Windows 7 can use this splitter to loop a male/male 3.5mm cable back into the computer's microphone jack to record live audio. Also, I've seen the lead warnings and decided to test the splitter with a lead test kit. Both the exposed metal and the white plastic were tested and came up clean. No lead detected. I'll see if I can post some pics under "customer images".

Great product. Buy with confidence.

Product works exactly as expected. I am using three (L/R, C/Sub, Rear L/R) of these to seperate the sound out of my PC between my 5.1 surround sound and my 5.1 surround headphones. The split signal sounds great coming out of either the system or the headphones.

Yes, I drive students. Yes, they are constantly leaning out of their seat to hear an mp3 player through someone else earphones. That had to stop for safety reasons. This little, inexpensive item, saved a lot of write ups.

They now, just borrow one from me, as they get on the bus, and can use their OWN earphones. No more leaning out of the seats. - Belkin - Audio Splitter - Cables - Headphones'

Mechanical Pencils

I buy these and then sell them to my kids in my classroom. I can sell these for only 25 cents. The kids buy them 4 at a time! The colors are not ideal, a little on the feminine side, and that yellow is icky, but that's what middle school kids think about: the colors of the barrel. I'm just happy with the price. BIC Mechanical Pencil with Metallic Color Barrels 0.7mm 18ct, Black (MPLMP18-Blk)

The BIC ClicMaster #2 looks great and has an amazing eraser. My problem is the tedious manula loading required for EVERY new lead replacment. You have to pull open the eraser, grab one of the extra leads, then hold down the buttons as you slowly feed it into the pen!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I doubt it. I've tried opening everything. I've tried patiently clicking the pencil 100x's w/ no lead coing through.

Bottom Line: find something else and save yourself from the messy re-filling required!'

Dado Blade Set - dado blade set, woodworking

The 7670 dado set replaced a very good Freud SD208. The 7670 set has (6) 4-tooth chippers as opposed to the Freud's (5) 2-tooth chippers. The 7670 also has 24 tooth outside cutters....twice what the SD208 had. The result of the extra teeth is a smoother bottom on dados and rabbets. The SD208 left minor striping marks on the bottom...it's a small issue, but is nice not to have the marks at all. It also seems to make cleaner cuts along the edges.

The shim stock and carrying case are much nicer on the 7670, however the its teeth have smaller carbide than the Freud, and the chippers aren't as massive. Because the chippers are lighter weight due to the lack of any anti-kicback features, the 7670 comes up to speed faster, and allows deeper cuts with less bogging down on my saw....an added benefit I had not expected. Other than being made in China, I have no big issues with the set and am happy that I upgraded. It's design is more similar to dado sets costing over $200. I've been quite happy with the overall performance and especially the great value.

Since Black & Decker purchased Delta well over a year ago, this set is now available under both the DeWalt and Delta logos, which should make it easier to find. DELTA 35-7670 8-Inch Stacked Dado Set

I recently bought this dado set to replace an older set I've had for years.

The dados produced by this set are TRUELY flat bottomed with crisp, clean edges and no scoring marks on the corners. This set is designed for professional use and it shows. The <$200 price tag is just icing on the cake.

I spent some time looking before I bought this set. I found them after I had made up my mind to buy the big D set, from Infinity.

Here is what sealed the deal, for Delta. For whatever it's worth. The chippers have to be lighter, they are not solid round. --Less weight on my lower powered saw. The case is great, it will outlast the blades. Also, the blades, chippers, shims, are well marked, 4 blade chippers not 2 blade, simple instructions, LOWER price, (another deal sealer). And, They cut like they should, Flat bottom. But, I also think it depends on the species of wood, for the cut you get .

So I'm a happy camper, Dadoing away

Right up front I want to say I just received the dado today and have only run a couple sample cuts through scrap redwood, walnut and red oak, BUT so far so good. Smooth bottoms without tearing and accurate 3/8", 1/2" & 5/8" dado cuts. Very clean entry and exit; all in all, everything you'd ask of a quality stacked dado tool.

I originally bought the Freud "super dado" and found it less than super. The tool finish and packaging were substandard, and the dado didn't cut any better than the 20 year old Craftsmen 6" I replaced (this was a brand new tool vs. one used for 20 years). Upon reflection I noted that all of the Freud tools I own that I really think are top notch are the "Diablo" 2nd label products produced in Austria. The Diablo 16 pc. Forstner bit set is particularly superior to just about every other set out there, including Freud's own higher priced HSS and carbide sets.

Delta may have gone to hell in a hand basket in recent years but if this product (out of a ISO factory in China) is any indication of the quality they're capable of producing, don't write them off. Highly recommended at 2/3 the price of Freud. It's not just a good deal, it's a better tool.

I was a bit hesitant to spend $120 for a Dado set, but the Delta Brand won me over. When I received it I was so disappointed to find out it was "just another thing from China" and knew I was going to be disappointed. But, the more I looked it over the more impressed I was with it. Delta seemingly held manufacturing and production to the high standards we have come to expect from Delta with this set! If you want it to be exact, and are willing to merely take the time to set it up (with the variety of blade widths and shims), you can be as perfectly precise as you could ever want! The precision of the grinding cut edges and the level of finish on the set overall does NOT remind of you of the "normal fare" from China we have all seen.

After use and testing: I had to give it at least 4 stars!

NOW, for the rest of the story: All above is basically true...... very nice in many ways, BUT.... I had a couple of good quality wobble blade DADOs for regular use. The "only" problem with the wobble or off-set blade is that the bottom of the trough is not level or flat and leaves some small gaps and uneven cutting. To fix that error you must get a flat set of blades and chippers.

PROBLEM: This 8" set as nice, pretty classy, well packaged, fully precision adjustable for width with 0.005" to 0.020" spacers and all is great..... get this.... You still "might" have irregular gaps and uneven trough bottoms: the side walls and the edges come out perfect; Fine smooth cutting!

I am going to give a second set a try because some of the problems may be related to the threaded shaft on all of our saws. The threads allow the narrower blades to not set quite perfectly or evenly at every location: if so, this problem is NOT related to the saw blades nor the quality of manufacturing. The larger the shaft (5/8") and then the larger the corresponding threads per inch, the more problem with all saws. Delta quality is excellent.

This is an excellent dado set. It has flexible setup with the various choppers and shims. It makes beautiful cuts that are flat bottomed and crisp, very clean side wall cuts. I do fine cabinetry with this blade, it does not disappoint. I used a Sears adjustable wobble blade before this, and it made atrocious cuts by comparison. I could never set the width quite right, and it chewed the wood away like a rat rather than the nice surgical cuts the Delta blade makes. Clearly, this is the difference between a $30 blade and a $150 set like this. I didn't want to spend $280 on some of the high end dado sets out there, so I bought this one as a middle ground expecting some minor flaws I'd just need to live with. I have been pleasantly surprised, not only are there no flaws in the way this dado cuts, but it is easy to use, set up, and the thickness table in the instructions is very handy and serves as a great reference. This blade gets 5 stars from me, I'm not sure what spending another $100 would get me. As a side note, the case is pretty good. Mine has the flimsy wing nuts that broke too, but it still works, and the blades are great. - Dado Set - Woodworking - Dado Blade Set'

Costume - hip scarf, belly dance

I'm a chutney dancer and as soon as I saw it I had to put it on and start dancing!!

The hip scarf came very quickly - less than a week, to be exact. It is very beautiful and has a decent weight, so you will get a great workout while using it.

The coins are very well arranged and sewn and make a beautiful chime while dancing. I would recommended this to anyone looking for a great hip scarf that won't break their wallet - the quality is worth way more than it's price.

The tote bag is an added plus! I was shocked at how large it was. BellyLady Belly Dance Hip Scarf, 480 Gold Coins, Deluxe V-Shape, Tote Bag Included

The hip scarf looks just as beautiful in hand as it does in the photo. The coins have an imprint of what appears to be a Trojan soldier. I said that this product is better than expected because the fabric that the scarf is made of is actually a lightweight black velvet sort of material, and makes me feel confident that it will hold up better than some other scarves I've seen. Even with shipping, this scarf is a very reasonable price and was worth every penny! The extra tote is an added bonus and quite useful.

This is a nicely made, fun skirt. I use it at home w/a belly-dance instructional DVD and we also use it on occasion in my Zumba class. Although I was disappointed that it was originally going to take about one month to receive my items (they come from China, which in itself is a little worrisome), my stuff arrived one week earlier than expected, so that was nice.

This is a beautiful, quality hipscarf. Great value for the money - heavy fabric (almost a chenille) and lots of coins and beads. Makes a beautiful sound when I dance! I highly recommend this product!

I ordered the skirt Aug. 31 and received it Sept 6. This skirt is better than the other belly dancing skirts sold. It has more coins on it and it is durable. The material is rayon, it last longer than velour. I just used this skirt today, it is beautiful, I received compliments on it. I like the heavy coins on it. It allows you to get into the dance more. I would recommend this skirt, the other skirts look cheap. Be prepared to pay for priority shipping to get to you faster. And Amazon.com is the best, I only purchase online from them.

the product seems larger in the picture but it's still the same design. i kind of like it shorter too, so it didn't really matter, especially since it is a great material and quality. IT'S HEAVY!! :D i really wanted a heavier hip scarf that made a lot of noise and this is definitely it! i'm really happy and proud of it :) - Belly Dance - Bellydance Wear - Costume - Hip Scarf'

1080p - led, 32 inch

Did a ton of research on TV's before making a purchase on this set. I settled on this one for a few key reasons.

1)Cnet really likes the quality of Samsung screens

2)I wanted an LED screen because they are thin and sleek, this one has a great look

3)I don't need internet apps because I have an Apple TV (seriously consider this and save some bucks(no hulu though))

4)Almost all the screens I've seen that friends own with 120Hz have that function turned off (soap opera effect)

5)Got a screamin deal off Amazon Warehouse Deals

For all of these reasons, this TV is a great fit for me. I was worried about a few things going into it though.

1)I read a lot about light bleeding in from the edges because of the edge-lit technology. After straight up plug and play for a few weeks now, I am totally pleased with the picture. In frames with all low level blacks, it does have a bit of a hard time blending smoothly though, and eventually I have seen a couple scenes of very low light where there are very very faint white light shadows creeping in from the corners towards the center of the screen. All in all though, it really has only bothered me once or twice, and I was trying to find them. Just watching the screen like a normal viewer, the picture is great.

2)People have complained about poor sound quality. I live in a small studio apartment, so I don't have a sound system, and I was worried about this, but I've found the sound to be totally adequate for my small space. If you are an audiophile in a large living room then you will definitely need a sound system, but you probably have that anyway. I usually have the speakers set to 20-40 out of 100 (increments of 1 are nice).

So for all that and just another couple minor things keep me from rating this a total 5 stars:

1)The remote looks like it was designed for and elderly person. Sure, it's easy to read the buttons and find them, but it looks and feels like one of those big button touch tone phones. Totally functional though, and I basically only use it for volume and source selection.

2)The HDMI inputs are just behind the beveled edge facing out to the right side, so if the cords going in are relaxed, they are visible from the side. I have a cord management piece going behind the center of the screen, so the cords have a little torque on them to turn 180 to get there. Minor inconvenience, but the screen is 1.2 inches thick, and I guess those things have to go somewhere.

3)The box arrived with a gaping hole in it and I could see the screen through it, yikes! I don't know if it left Warehouse Deals like that or if it was a shipping thing, but I thought someone put their foot through it. Turns out everything is fine, whew. Samsung UN32D5500 32-Inch 1080p LED HDTV (Black)

I used to own a 6-series 46" tv by Samsung with 120hz. However, when moving across country, I decided to part ways with it. I decided to use this 32" as a replacement for the time-being until I pick up a larger TV for the living room. For now, this set is in the bedroom and works great as a computer monitor and blu-ray watcher with a home theater setup.

The TV's styling is gorgeous and Samsung knows what it's doing with the Touch of Color looks. this LED is lightweight and would love to have the Samsung wall mount to "hang" it on sometime soon. It is incredibly thin compared to my old CCFL LCD TV.

As far as picture quality, I do not miss the 120hz as much as I thought I would. As many have stated, 120hz adds that weird effect of "too real," which can make lower budget graphics look really fake or acting look sub-par. I HAVE noticed a little clouding and bleeding from the top two corners. However, the only time I ever noticed it was at night with all lights off during credits of a movie and I could see the slight leakage in the top black bar. During the film, I have yet to notice it.

I can't comment on the audio, as I hooked it right up to a 5.1 setup.

I will also say that the connections are ample, yet the placement of the majority of inputs being so close to the edge of the tv (and facing sideways) means that inflexible HDMI cables will have a tough time staying behind the set.

great set overall.

first of all let me say that i'm one of those avsforum trolls who sometimes overanalyze and nitpick sets to death. that being said i was looking for a little 32 inch tv to watch movies, play xbox, and use as a sometimes pc monitor. i have a ln40a750 and a ln46c750. both ccfl because i dreaded the flashlighting and the clouding that the samsungs are notorious for. I had considered the un32d6000 but was scared off by some who reported clouding and flashlighting to a distracting degree. i had also considered the ln32d550 which is the ccfl version of this set. however when the price of this set dropped 75 dollars i had to give it a try

i have to say that i am really really happy with this set. i've tried it gaming and there is no ghosting that others reported with the un40d6000. Also i wanted an led so that i wouldn't have to worry as much about color changes in the backlight over its lifetime vs ccfl. no dead pixels. perfect uniformity meaning no flashlighting from the corners. may seem lighter in tone towards the edges in the dark if you sit too close but perfect from viewing distance. there might be what some might consider very light banding looking at a flat grey field but i have this more pronounced on my ln46c750 and is caused by the coating they use for the ultra clear panel. if you prefer a matte finish i would go with the ln32d550. really really surprised how uniform this set is and very happy. led has a certain look that some might not like but its hard to describe unless you've had both sets in a home setting.

tried with a pc on the vga input and seems to pass the 4:4:4 chroma subsampling test. Try later with dvi and rename input to pc/dvi and see if it passes. It is only 60 Hz but it seems that for the most part only 60hz lcd sets pass this test. I personally never use the 120 hz mode on either of my other sets so this only matters to those who prefer the "soap opera" look to the so called judder. however this set does really well with 24p input. but then i'm not that critical when it comes to that since i'm one of those that think film should like film.

I did no measured lag test but it suffices that i don't really notice any lag playing black ops.

It only comes with a 2 pt grey scale adjustment but then again i find 6500k a little on the green side for my tastes over 3 tvs and two monitors.

i got the h303 version from amazon. not sure which of the two possible panels i got but since it looks just like the h303 set i saw at my local best buy in so cal.

overall a great little multipurpose set with super uniformity. very very happy - 32 Inch - Led'

Back To School Clothes

Dickies pants do run smaller in size than other brands. This helps me, because my boy is a "slim size" in other brands, but then the length doesn't fit right. With Dickies, I just buy the size he needs without worrying about the slim, and they fit great! If your kid is a normal size, go up a size and they should fit fine. As for the stiffness, they come like they are heavily starched, but they wash out great. They make great uniform pants with the reinforced knee! I buy my son 2 pairs every year for school and they last the whole year! In fact, he still wears the ones from last year and they have little wear to show. Other pants I bought him before finding these, tore within about 6 weeks! I have been buying these for almost four years now and all I can say is, Awesome price for great quality! Dickies Boys 2-7 Flex Waist Flat Front Pant - School Uniform, Silver Gray, 5 Regular

In general it is good quality. The knees have enhanced pads..

The normal one is a bit slim even my son can be regarded between thin and slender. Other than this, this is a good purchase. I have ordered 3 pants so far. So far, the very first pant ordered still lasts in the whole school year.

I bought these for my 6 year old son for a 50th wedding celebration this summer - Great pants. They fit him well (perfect size waist and in length) , they're durable and the color is perfect. He looked sharp as ever!

The waist on these pants were so off. I have several different brands of size 7 pants for my boys and these are a good inch smaller than any other pair they have. The material was very stiff. It may loosen up after washing, but I need to return these. Just very disappointed that I have to go through this extra step of returning them because the waist size is so off.'

Propper - tactical, bdu

These are the best Tactical pants. They hold up better than 5.11's without the fading with a smoother, heavy weight material that holds a crease and stays looking sharp. Runs slightly smaller than the 5.11. Propper Tactical Pants Dark Navy 36 x 32 F52208240536X32

I've tried several different brands/styles of EMS pants, and these by far outshine all the rest. The pockets are just right for storage of various items (cell phone, wallet, etc). The waist is lower than others I've tried, allowing them to be lower slung and fit more comfortably without feeling like they're sagging in the inseam. (read: It's more comfortable with my gut ;))

I do with the had a place to store trauma shears on the outside of the cargo pocket, but the included web duty belt allows easy attachment of the tools pouch. It also supports a radio extremely well without the need to constantly be pulling the waistline up constantly from the weight.

Overall, these are a great value. They fit well, and they're very durable. The fabric blend is great. They dry quickly, they insulate well, but they can breathe too. I only have 2 complaints that keep it from being 5 stars:

1) The color tends to fade over time. I've had my dark navy pants for about 6 months and they've metamorphosed into a sort of midnight blue, more toward the purple side.

2) The alleged stain-resistant teflon coating wears off after the first few washings. - 511 - Pants - Bdu - Tactical'
