I love this little light, but the bulb technology gets way hot. Once while working under a dashboard with it, I put the back of my arm into the front of the light. Youch!



Also, the battery is on par with conventional flashlights but I'm used to LED performance now. Something this size would do better as an LED rather than Xenon.



But overall, I recommend it if you already have the battery system. Milwaukee 49-24-0145 12-Volt Worklight

I have had this flashlight for about 2 weeks now and overall I am pleased with its performance. The light is bright and light built qood and a great price. The magnet on the the flashlight needs major improvment. It will hold the light in a vertical position with the light end being on top. Sometimes when Im working I need to put the light in a horizontal postion or upside down. The magnet just isn't strong enough to support any other position beacause of the weight of the battery. The battery isn't heavy the magnet is either to weak or to small. If the unit had 2 magnets it would work much better. Another thing about the magnet you will press it every time you need to press the power button. It is in the exact place you would expect the power button to be. It gets annoying. Another issue I have found is when the battery dies it dies fast less than 1 minute. What I mean is when your using the light the brightness doesn't give indication of the strenght of the battery until the final minute. One minutes the light is bright the next minute its dead. This is only a $20.00 flash light thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 stars. If it was any more expensive I wouldn't recomend buying this light. Milwaukee makes quality products they could have just put a little more thought into this flashlight.

I have this light and the LED version. The LED version is 1000 times better and last longer and doesn't get as hot and has brighter light and better light pattern. And....GET THE LED VERSION!!--It's more than this one but worth the extra cost. Also I read a review of the LED upgrade for this light and the reviewer was very disappointed-so if you were thinking of getting this and upgrading or upgrading yours, I don't recommend it. The magnet in the LED version seems a little stronger, but what I did is grind out an area about 1/8" deep and the diameter of a Neodymium magnet and epoxied it to the flashlight and it holds way better. HTH

A handy, sturdy light to have around. I purchased this work light as a companion to my Milwaukee 12 volt lithium drill which came in a case which can accomodate this light. The light is accurate and uses a 12 volt lithium battery which will give this little fella a long run time. The light is handy and bright and the head rotates up and down. It has a magnet on one side as stated. This is a good buy for your tool kit if you own a 12 volt milwaukee tool with an extra battery. It would have been better if it were a LED. It is well built

The best part about this flashlight is that it has a very usable beam pattern. It has a wide spot broadening out to a flood with a very usable spill beam. This makes it good for working in close quarters. Many other flashlights have a very narrow spot light which may impress you with its intensity, but overall is poor because you are not using this type of flashlight in a search-and-rescue. It is for broad illumination in an electric box, under a dashboard, under a sink, etc. Without a good beam pattern, you are constantly having to adjust the aim. For beam pattern, I give it 4 stars.



As others have noted, the magnet is nearly useless. It only works in a vertical position and is too often confused with the power switch. In using the magnet once, it fell giving a good crash to the floor. I bet it won't survive too many of those.



The head pivots from 90 degrees horizontal to vertical. This is vastly better than popular "mag" flashlights that only point in one direction. This one will stand on end and can be aimed. The base of the standard battery is small, so it is easily tipped. Milwaukee makes an M12 XC battery with twice the capacity which makes this flashlight much more stable, but unfortunately Amazon doesn't carry this battery yet. (The XC is a great battery.) There are, however, many other competing work lights which have the ability to aim down. This is very useful for shining light down into something. This one won't do that.



My main reason for giving this only 3 stars, though, is as follows. Milwaukee puts a 14.4V bulb in this. It says to use only 12V bulb 49-81-0020, but alas, this is a 14.4V bulb. The impact of this is significant as the light is a dim, yellow beam, perhaps only 50% as bright as if it was a 12V XPR bulb in there. Electrically, it is only drawing only 69% of what it would at 14.4V, but maybe this is to cut down on heat. Because of the lower voltage, however, more of that 69% is just going to heat. I may try to salvage this a star by putting in a 12V bulb from DeWalt. But, I shouldn't have to. Note that Milwaukee does not sell a 12V in any of their line.



I also have their M12 LED light, and while having the same magnet flaws, etc., the beam is much better, probably the best I have seen in a small flash light/work light.

I bought this light about a year ago from homedepot. I am extreamly happy with this flash light. Its has taken plenty of spills off of 8ft ladders and still works. Very durable,Vesitile and cost affective. If you already have some of the M12 tools I would highly recomend adding this one to your collection. The only thing I have every had to do with this flash light is change the bulb once and change the batties when they lose there charge. after about a year of serive used almost everyday Im not going to complain. Very bright light and the maget is awesome. and I also like that you can move the head of the flash light 180 and while sitting on the base it wont tip over. This is such an adorable necklace! My husband bought this for one of my anniversary gifts and I'm so happy with it! It's super sparkly and the perfect size. This is a very cute pendant...especially for Halloween....but the pendant looks a bit different in the picture...in the picture it looks like there are many more black diamonds than what there are...and the chain looks alot sturdier than what it is....but nice for the price....

When I opened the package I was so pleased with the black cat pendant. It is of good quality and has some weight

to it. It looks very nice when worn and I enjoy having people notice my new kitty addition. If you collect cat jewelry

you will not be disappointed, it is a keeper.

I love the cat pendant, and I've gotten quite a few comments on it. However, the chain was not so great. I really liked the look of it, but it broke after just a few wearings, and I had to put the pendant on another chain I had. I did contact the seller about the problem with the chain, but I never received a response.

I just adopted a black cat 1 1/2 yrs old and saw this necklace with another consumer and had to have. Google Queen that I am found it on Amazon and soooooo much cheaper! This pendant is beautiful and received a lot of compliments. A beautiful piece. I am very happy to find this on Amazon and delivery was very quick.

My boyfriend bought this for me, and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect size, the diamonds are small but there's lots of them are they are very shiny. The chain is perfect, not very thin or flimsy, good length.



A perfect gift for someone who loves cats!

Necklace is fantastic! looks great! only complaint would be the clasp moves around ( as the chain moves on your neck like most chains) but the clasp can sometimes get stuck behind the cats head and its difficult to get out. But other than that its great!'

This book has its positive points, but encouraging someone who wants to create a small workshop is not one of them. Instead it tends to make you feel bad about not having 1000+ sq. ft. of space to allocate to a wood shop. They've reprinted six articles that describe wood shops, but only one fits my definition of "small." The rest describe spaces 600, 720, 1296, and two at 2400 sq. ft. I guess if you are making a "small" commercial shop, 2400 sq. ft. is not out of the question, but if woodworking is just a hobby, 200-400 sq. ft. is a more common limitation.



It also has two (related, overlapping in content) articles on dust collection; one of the articles is useful, but another seems redundant. Seems like the editors were looking for filler articles.



I would have given this book more stars--3 or 4--if it hadn't claimed to be about "small" shops. However I wouldn't have purchased it in that case, because I already have general woodshop design books--and in fact almost all the information in this one I've seen in my other books. And it really is just a collection of articles rather than a coherent whole.



In particular, I find How to Design and Build Your Ideal Woodshop (Popular Woodworking) to be much more appropriate. It talks about how to design a small workshop in much greater detail. I also have an earlier edition of Setting Up Shop, Completely Revised and Updated: A Practical Guide to Designing and Building Your Dream Shop, which is quite good. Small Woodworking Shops (New Best of Fine Woodworking)

This is the best concise shop design book out now in my opinion. It covers quite a few areas in detail like lighting, adding a wood floor on top of concrete, dust collection issues, various layouts, essential tools, and more that make it an essential book. Aim high in making your shop as good as any tool you have or project you make. This book encourages that and helps you make wise, cost-effective decisions.

At first when I started reading the book I thought I was in store for a long treatise on how to build a professional workshop. If you are in the market for that information, I am sure this book will get you started. Where I found the book most useful was in seeing how each person used the space available. In one instance, the shop design was a professional spread with a specific location for each step of the woodworking process. In another instance, the shop design was for a professional who had limited space. Both extremes helped me visualize how my home workshop (my garage) might be better used. I gained a lot from reading the book. Reading it is not a necessity, however. You may gain the same information the authors did by making the same mistakes as they did or you can learn vicariously from them and the examples.



Now, one thing I recommend for most hobbyists; while reading the book, do not get discouraged or dismissive. Read the book for ideas about how to make your workspace more usable and more efficient. If you do, you will not be disappointed.

When the first couple reviews for a book are all 5 stars, I tend to wonder whether the author's friends and relatives are doing their part to pump up sales. I'm writing this review in case you're like me in that regard. Fear not, I've got no connection whatsoever with anyone involved with this book.



As a new woodworking hobbyist, I found this book informative and helpful. The writing was clear and readable, the photos and graphics well-done. More importantly, for me the breadth and depth of information was just right. Example: there was a simple, informative piece on the best power tools to start off with -- and then there was another to offer a different perspective. Some goes with coverage of dust control, with several different angles presented.



This book doesn't try to be all things to all people. I doubt anyone with serious woodworking experience would find this book worth buying. On the other hand, if finances or space limit your tool choices to a circular saw and a drill, look elsewhere -- this book really is for folks setting up a shop with the tools to go with it. Its also more oriented towards power tools than hand tools.



I think the ideal reader would be someone with a garage to fill and a $5000 budget to spend. That's not me on either count, and I do wish the book had focused more on small hobbyist starter shops and less on professional, two-car garage shops with every tool.



But I still got a lot out of it, and I'd buy it again without hesitating. However, I don't own any of the other books on setting up a shop, so can't compare their relative merits.





--- Coming back to this review a month later, I think I was wrong to give it only 4 stars. This has been the one book I've turned to the most as I continue setting up my shop, and I get something useful out of it every time. Amazon doesn't seem to let you change your star rating after the fact, but now I'd give it 5 stars without hesitation.

Like many of Taunton's books in the woodworking arena, this one consists mostly of reprints of Fine Woodworking magazine (FWW) articles. That's not bad in itself, of course, as FWW is a fine magazine, and one to which I subscribe. It does mean that even though the articles are all small shop themed, there isn't a logical flow from beginning to end or article to article. Each stands on its own merits, is written by a different author, and has its own emphasis and style.



Approach this book and these titles as idea and tips generators. This book is most appropriate to those who are not already FWW subscribers. If you are a long-term subscriber, you will have already read the articles. You can also get at most or all of this content by subscribing to FWW's online site.

This is a 'second-stage' book suitable for those with potential for plenty of space, time and machinery. It has minimal coverage of basic workbench and hand tools practice, and simple handyman projects, although storage and space-saving ideas are well covered. The book is ideal for those aspiring to make the big jump to a larger, machinery equipped, productive work place, with better and safer work practices (and will certainly guide my future and hopeful aspirations). - Workshop - Fine Woodworking Editors - Manufacturing - Woodworking Book'

I ordered the plus size, and was at the lower end of the spectrum (5'6" and 175 lbs), but I like it but think if I were any bigger the set might be uncomfortable. I normally wear a size 14, sometimes 16 pants, if that helps. Other than that, great deal and good product. Lace Garter Belt and G-String Set (One Size: S-L/White)

As other reviewers have stated, this garter and G-string set isn't scratchy; rather, they are soft, which makes them so nice to wear.



I got this set in black, and I love to pair it with both black seamed stockings and nude seamed stockings. Nearly-nude looks great with this set as well. The look created is just very cute and sexy.



What I love the most about these is that I'm a big believer that wearing sexy lingerie underneath a great outfit will make you feel very sexy and confident; I'll even go so far as to say it very much puts you in touch with your femininity, and it helps to bring out who you are as a woman. Having said that, if your lingerie is scratching away at you and driving you crazy, it tends to detract from how lovely you feel!



With these being soft and easy to wear, I feel effortlessly sexy. While I'm in no way opposed to sacrificing a tiny bit of comfort to gain a lot of sexiness and beauty, it's great to find lingerie that gives you the best of both worlds.



Get these, wear them and enjoy!!

This garter belt is lightweight and comfortable. The lace is soft, but not the best quality. The adjuster in the back isn't fancy either (it's essentially identical to the hook on removable shoulder straps on a bra). The clasps are plastic and don't work very well. You really have to force them closed or else they will come undone. Overall this product is cheap and easy to wear, but the clasps aren't very good.

Excellent garter..i recommend to get the white stockings as well (sold seperately) but the thong was a tad big for me, seems like its a size M/L... but the garter's straps were very easy to adjust to any size from the back..=)..loved it! - Exotic Apparel - Lingerie - Sexy Lingerie - Super Sexy'

Works with Touchstone charging station. Fits snugly and allows access to all features just like original cover. Has sort of a dry, snake-skin feel as opposed to the original cover's slightly rubbery touch, but not a big deal. Touchstone is definitely the superior way to keep your palm charged. OEM Palm Pixi Touchstone Charging Back Cover - Blue

This is the second color touchstone cover we bought for this phone. The first orange one started to show signs of issues after about 4 months. It appears to be made of two layers, a soft-rubbery outer shell over a hard plastic inner shell that snaps onto and holds the phone.



After about 4 months, the outer shell begins to 'stretch' and form areas where it 'bubbles' away on the edge of the phone from the plastic inside. At the same time, the inside will start to crack in places if you remove the back to replace the battery or have to pull it to reset on occasion.



It's a nice addition to the look of the phone but ultimately, doesn't seem to last.

The good:



The color and feel are excellent. The textured back helps the phone grip while resting on slick surfaces, so it's more difficult to knock off when bumped.



The bad:



I have to agree with other reviews regarding the poor build quality. The area around the charger flap has rubbed away to a smooth and shiny surface within two weeks. The metal that helps the flap close fell off by day three (fixable, yes, but I just force it closed with its own tightness). I used the charger flap for the first few days as I waiting for my touchstone base and have rarely used it since.



It has now been two or three months, and the rubber around the volume buttons sticks out, with some of the rubber inside clearly ripped. The rubber around the power buttons also juts out slightly, though not as bad. I have dropped the phone many, many times after the first overly-cautious and accident month; however, the product had already begun showing wear around all the buttons.



Overall:



I love the color and the texture. I had read the reviews before hand and did NOT come into the product expecting anything better than what I received, so I was not hugely disappointed by the poor quality and would probably buy this again. If you purchase this with the understanding that it was made rather cheaply, you will be able to enjoy it for what it is: a product that works but loses its new look sooner rather than later. If you want a good looking product that will stay looking new for a while, I would suggest finding a different touchstone cover... maybe the designer covers would be a better fit?

This is the second of these that I've bought because, although it works with the Touchstone very well in regards to charging, it doesn't last long. The first one began to warp around the edges and the silicon material (?) began to bubble around the edges to the point that it just looked very, very horrible and was too easy to peel off. Also, the charger flap stays in place by a tiny piece of metal and a magnet. Well, the tiny piece of metal becomes unglued from the flap, so the flap will just stick out. Another eyesore. So, I just bought me this one 1 month ago and already that stupid flap did the exact same thing. I use to love Palm products, but no more. They really have ditched the idea of trying to make quality products. I assume they just can't afford to hire great engineers/designers and also can't afford to execute the making of the products, because everything... even my Palm Pixi Plus.... is not a good product. I will no longer buy Palm products. Too bad. I wanted to believe in them and got completely burned.

This cover is the bomb. There is a condition though. You have to use it in combination with the touchstone charging dock. One of the best features of this phone is charging the phone via the dock. And with the new Palm 2.0 webOS dock apps will be available. If you are not going to use the wireless dock buy a silicon cover and not the touchstone cover.

This is one of those things where if you want something cheap that works well, and don't mind the size or old technology, it is OK.



To qualify that, it is 9" long, 3" thick, and 4" wide. That is a MONSTER for the features this thing has.



It should also be noted that this charger works on a timer circuit. With the switch set to "NiCd" it charges for 5 hours, and with it set to NiMH it charges for 8 hours. The charging is at a set rate, so that means in a given time, it can only put out so many mAh. (it varies by cell size, using different contacts at the center point of different sizes of cells)



Here's a quick example: If you have a AA rechargeable, and you set this charger to "NiMM" it will charge at 250 mA for 8 hours. That is a total charge of 2000 mAh. The problem is that modern AA rechargeables are rated 2400-2650 mAh. So this charger will not give a full charge. A 2650 mAh AA will only end up 76% charged, if it is fully discharged. You can start another charge cycle, but if you don't remember to pull the batteries out part-way into it, you will be overcharging them.



As a simple charger, it works. But battery technology marches on. Capacities get higher. My recommendation is to invest in a peak detecting charger.



I use a Multiplex LN5014, with a battery holder from Radio Shack. Of course that is a $75 charger, and requires a separate power supply. But I'm sure there are other options available in an inexpensive charger. Tenergy T-1199B Universal Ni-MH & Ni-Cd Battery Charger With Timer Control

We've had this charger for 4 - 5 years and it's still going strong. We kinda had doubts given the price but we were wrong!



We use this charger daily for D's, AA's and AAA's. You can charge one battery at a time if need be. It'll do up to 4 D's, 4 C's, 4 AA's, 4 AAA's or 2 9v's. The vendor, the Battery Superstore, has great customer service.



The Tenergy D cells (9000 mah) that we bought with this charger are still going strong - that's after almost daily use.



Update December 2009 - still going strong!

This would have gotten a 5 star if it charged faster. 8 hours is a bit long, but what can I expect for the price. I wish you could charge more than 4 AA or AAA batteries at the same time.



But other than me wanting the world and being too cheap to pay for it, I am happy with this charger. I am considering buying another so I can charge more batteries at the same time. I can purchase two more of these and still save money over the cost of other charging units.

This tech-grrl has a sophisticated fast charger that charges VERY rapidly and is the best thing ever, but I needed a slower charger that charges batteries around 8 hours to initially charge new batteries or ones that've been sitting around disused for some months. The reason is that the batteries will last a lot longer that way. Once charged with this unit I can then use my fast smart charger regularly without burning life out of the batteries. I wouldn't use this charger as the primary one because it charges on a 8 hour or 4 hour timer instead of having a microprocessor that senses when the battery is topped off, so depending on the battery it could be overcharged or undercharged both of which means shorter life.



I've been a profession tech chick for over 20 years and know battery technologies inside out and advise clients about what's best for their applications.

Does a really good job, I've used the charger a few times now. It actually charges the batteries a lot better than other chargers have in the past (AA & AAA). The only thing me at first is the fact that you have to plug it in every time you put in another set of batteries. But, that is necessary for safety purposes so that you can't get shocked easily. Also, I had a tendency to leave other chargers plugged in when not charging batteries so I just eliminated another energy vampire, cool...

I needed a special battery charger for Ni-Cd which I use in my outside patio lights.

I replace these batteries after about a year and the new batteries need to be fully charged before I change them. So I was looking for a cheaper charger as I already have a battery charger (but not for Ni-Cd's). This was a decent looking unit and I thought it would be a cheap plastic alternative to the expensive ones. It turned out that I was extremely surprised at the quality and it actually works great. One of my better purchases value wise. Recharges Ni-Cd and Ni-Mh batteries...not for other types.

I bought a package of the following,



T-1199B Universal Battery Charger With Timer Control + 8 Tenergy D 10000 mAh High Capacity Batteries.

I also bought a package that had just one more 4-cell charger. That way, I could put all eight D-cells on charge simultaneously.



Charging those batteries with the bundled chargers, I became concerned that the batteries are being charged unevenly. I noticed that the batteries felt to have different temperatures, so I measured them all with my (kitchen) infrared non-contact thermometer. Right now, the four D cells in one of the chargers showed these temperatures, Fahrenheit: 110 F, 97 F, 92 F, 88 F. The other charger has four more D cells, which show temperatures in a similar progression. Both chargers have made the room smell of hot electronic components - many of you know what I mean.



The power supply end of the two chargers indicated 118 F and 120 F, respectively, just now. I checked the end with a slots in the case for air to circulate, and the temperatures I reported are the highest indications that my thermometer showed as I scanned over the case.



I suppose that I am getting my money's worth, because these chargers were cheap (particularly when bundled with the D cells). And, the batteries must be charging, since they are warm. (The room is only about 77 F.)



Note that, as other reviewers already said, this charger does not monitor the batteries and charge them until they are full. This charger only charges its batteries for a fixed time period, with no regard to what the batteries need. That does, indeed, protect the batteries from cooking indefinitely on the charging current. However, that behavior is dumb (ignores the condition of the batteries) and can subject batteries to harmful continued charging when they are full.



I'm not happy, and I have now ordered a better charger! (Amazon didn't offer one, that I could see.)
