Previous to spending 10 bucks for the Dremel Sharpening attachment, I was taking my chains to a professional to have them sharpened. It pays to follow the directions in setting up the sharpener correctly, but, once you do, you'll get the BEST sharpening job ever. My sharpening job with the sharpener was far superior to any of the sharpenings that I ever got from a professional. Plus, the professional guys ground an 1/8th inch or so off of the teeth each time they sharpened my chains, when, in fact, all they needed to do was to put a sharp edge on the teeth. The Dremel sharpener works magnificently and gives you a phenomenally sharp edge that will last a long time [as long as you keep your chain out of the dirt!] For the price of this product, it simply can't be beat. When a chainsaw is sharpened, the sharpening tool is always referenced to the top of the cutting tooth (see the sharpening instructions from any saw chain manufacturer).However, on Dremel attachment 1453, front of box, the picture shows the guide riding on the chain's depth gauge instead. Printed instructions on the back of the box (and supported with pictures) confirm this error for both left and right teeth.To further confuse matters, the instruction sheet inside the box describes a method where the guide rides on top of the tooth for one side of the chain, but on top of the depth gauge for the other side! This is also incorrect, in addition to contradicting the instructions on the box.Nonetheless, the device works adequately, especially if the user modifies the procedure to cause the guide to ride on top of the cutters for both sides of the chain.In my opinion, this would become an excellent attachment if the instructions were rewritten, the pictures on the box replaced by correct ones, and the guide manufactured as a mirror image of the one presently sold. This would allow sharpening both sides from the non-engine side of the saw, thereby allowing two more teeth to be sharpened before chain repositioning. On an 18 inch bar this amounts to five rather than three teeth for left side cutters - a 67 percent improvement.I have e-mailed Dremel with some of these observations, but received no reply!

I took a chance that this chainsaw sharpening attachment would do the job on my little Poulan electric chainsaw. It works great! Chains grow dull fairly quickly, particularly when you let the chain touch dirt. This little tool sharpens the chain like new and only takes a few minutes to get the sharpening job done. You can't go wrong. Dremel provides three different size sharpening stones that will accomodate most chains.

This works much better than I thought it would. Accuracy is equivalent to a handheld file but it's a lot quicker and easier. I don't believe this fits the battery operated Dremel so you have to use it near a power source. Installation on the Dremel tool is vary easy. It takes maybe 15 seconds longer than changing a regular bit. If you have more than one size chainsaw, consider getting two. They are not expensive and you save having to set it up each time you switch saws.

My rotary tool is a Black & Decker, not a Dremel, but this little gem fits and works perfectly with it. My only challenge was that it was harder to understand the set up instructions than it was to set up the tool. I had never sharpened a chainsaw before and had no idea how the tool would function until I finished the set up. Then it was clear. Advice: Read the set up instructions and follow them carefully. Setting up the tool is easy, once you see what the instructions intend. The job of sharpening the saw then goes quickly and easily. Wear gloves and eye protection.

I am adept at sharpening saw chains with a file and a drop gauge, but severe damage due to nicking an embedded piece of barbed wire or a nail meant that the chain had to go to the local sharpening shop for a $9.00 sharpening job.



After dulling a brand new chain on some deeply embedded barbed wire, I started to look into power sharpeners. When I saw the Dremel sharpener for less than the price of one shop sharpening job, I figured it was worth a try.



All I can say is: don't even think of using your finger tip to check the sharpness of a newly sharpened tooth after using the Dremel attachment. You will cut yourself! It does a far better job than the shop I pay to sharpen my chains. You cannot go wrong here....

My brother-in-law had one of these and after he showed me how easy it was to use, I went out and bought a Dremel tool and this attachment. This tool makes it very easy to always have a sharp chain. It only takes about 5 minutes to do a quick touch-up or about 15 to do a more thorough sharpening. The results are at least as good if not better than what I was getting by taking my chain to the dealer for sharpening, and now I don't have to wait a couple days to have it done.

Based on the other reviews this tool must work well when paired with the correct Dremel tool, but determining which tool it will fit is a challenge. Amazon's website says "From the manufacturer...Fits Dremel Tool Models 400, 398, 395, 300, 285, 275, 800, 780, 770."

Then on the actual package it says:

I don't know what it will fit, but I can tell you it won't attach to my model 770 as advertised on Amazon's site. So now I have to go out and buy a different model Dremel.... I guess Dremel's bad info is not so stupid after all!

My chainsaw is sharp once again, so I'd say it works without killing me too badly to do it. Pretty quick and easy actually. Ahhh... now the fun part, cutting down trees, loading them, splitting them, stacking them, burning them...'

I am a regular consumer of Levis jeans, specially the 527; in fact I own close to 12 of the 527 Jeans in different styles and colors, Levis is my preferred brand, they are stylish, the fabric is of excellent quality and they are available for a fair price.

Lately I really don't understand what is going on with their quality processes. I work for an apparel manufacturing company, so I know the different steps to sew a garment, and when you are having such wide variation on the different characteristics of a product is simply because your quality control processes are not in place or they are not functioning correctly.

I am writing this because I feel absolutely disappointed, a couple of months ago I bought the Levi's Young Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean, Destructed Blue, 36x32 and it was almost 2 inches shorter than it is supposed to be. Now I purchased the Levi's Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean With Back Pocket Treatment,Hot Blue,36x32 and the Levi's Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean, Midnight Scraped, 36X32 and AGAIN, the same problem. I am furious because this represents a mayor inconvenience to anyone who purchases something and when you receive the item is not what it was meant to be. The worst thing is that I went to a local Levis store and bought the same pair of jeans (Midnight Scraped) and they perfectly fit, I don't know if this issue comes from Amazon or not. But it is no coincidence that happened 3 consecutive times.

I had to give the 3 Jeans to my shorter brother and at least I was able to get a partial refund for the price of the Jeans. I am sincerely thinking about never buying a pair of jeans over Amazon again.

The only jeans that were exactly the size and length that I purchased were the Levi's Men's 527 Low Rise Boot Cut Jean, Indie Blue, 36x32, which for me are the most versatile and comfortable Jeans of the 527 Levis Style. Levi's Men's 527 Boot Cut Highway Jean, Highway, 32 32

I'm a fairly thin guy, so my other 527s fit quite nicely. They're loose, but not too loose. So when I received these from Amazon expecting the same fit as the 527s I bought a couple years ago I was really surprised. They were a very snug fit. They we're very similar to Levi's skinny fit jeans - not at all the look I want. Back they go.

I'd been looking for a decent pair of non-baggy jeans for some time when I stumbled across these. I love these jeans! I spent 8 months losing 60 pounds, and I didn't do it to wear 'relaxed fit', 'loose fit', or 'comfy fit' jeans.

Way to tight to be 527! They are more like the 511, skinny jeans. They do fit below waist although leaving to show my very lower back. They they don't seem loose around my thighs either. I am also disappointed because I first was sent a pair with exactly the same fit but indicating it was some another model. Thinking they had done a mistake I shipped them back. I thought this time I would get a 527 like I am used to and I got this tight fit jean again only labeled 527 ...something is wrong with these jeans.

I bought these jeans for my husband who has been wearing Levi's all his life, unfortunately, he's been stuck on the relaxed that fit tight at the cuff jeans forever. With these new 527 jeans, he finally looks like moved into the current decade of designer jeans. These jeans fit wonderfully, sitting below his 'problem' area if you know what I mean, tight across his 'still rockin' area and tight down his thighs, ending with a slight flair at the bottom.



I would never pay big money for jeans for my husband because he considers jeans to be for work, and that means grease stains, acid holes, grass stains, and whatever a guy gets into while he's fixing things. Paying $100-plus for jeans for him is unthinkable. Now I have the perfect solution. Great looking, modern jeans for under $50. This could end up bringing about world peace, at least at our house because now when he wrecks a pair of jeans, I can just go buy him another pair. In fact, when I finish here, I'm going to do just that, order him 2 more pair of these great jeans.



They are not as thick as the relaxed jeans my husband has been wearing, they're more like my jeans, soft, comfortable and the color (indigo) is just lovely. Thank you Levis!



After buying 5 pair alltogether, I have to say that sometimes the lengths vary, and by inches. I bought 34/32 and the length can sometimes be 31/34. Not a deal-breaker for me, but be warned.

I have serious doubts as to whether these pair of Levi's 527 I bought via Amazon are genuine. I bought the same pair of jeans (not 1 but 7) at D****m E*****s and I received a much better and I believe genuine product.

We bought these in the "medium chipped" color. My husband loves the Levi's 527 style and we have purchased many of these jeans from the store. The ones that we bought here online were a very thin material as compared to all the others we have purchased before. We did not return them since my husband says he will wear them during the summer, but they would never hold up to be work jeans as intended.

I recently purchased two pairs of Levis 527's from amazon.com and while the length was good, the fit on the waist, hips and legs was much tighter compared to other 527's. The cut is about one inch smaller on the legs so it is therefore uncomfortable to wear. I won't be purchasing anymore Levis from here. Sorry.

Upon receiving the package, everything looks great..the material and stitching seems very similar to the standards of other Levi products as well as past Levi jeans I have personally worn for years. However, the jean material does seem a bit lighter, meaning it feels thinner and lighter weight than previous 527 jeans I have worn. In conjunction to this notion, I have also found the the fit to be a bit tighter around the waist, though the length of the leg seems to measure out fairly. This is a great value kit!!! the small carving pieces are for fine detail work, and i recommend the use of those devices for a flexshaft. They are almost the same thing that foredom kit AK65, the bonus on this kit are the diamond covered bits which are great for wood, glass etc. And the silicon carbide stones are great for glass etc. I am very satisfied with Amazon. I purchased this tool assortment and my Dremel rotary tool at the same time. I love both of them. I'm an artist and have recently taken up making small animal sculptures. The size of the tools in this carving and engraving kit are perfect. I do have one problem with the set. It is advertised as having "two diamond tips" and I have not found any way to tell which ones those two might be.

Just as I have mentioned in my other Dremel accessory reviews on Amazon, one can never own enough Dremel accessories. As a home owner, it's great to have a Dremel around for minor home repairs or minor house projects. It's hard to find accessories like these in traditional retail stores like Home Depot or Lowes.

We purchased an engraving attachment for the dremmel which worked great but we wanted more engraving bits. We didn't need all of the assorted items but the kit packaging was financially attractive. We are completely satisfied with the product and I'm sure we will eventually use all of the bits.

I was miss lead by this company. The bits they show you in the picture give you the impression that they are a pretty good size. In fact these bits are so small, they could only be used best if you are a microscopic person. I can only recommend these bits if your doing some finish work, and intend to do really fine detail. I mean really small detail. The bits are not much bigger then a Nat fly.



Please dont be fooled. Don't buy from this company. But your choice. Buyer be ware!

Not Worth The Money - mead, composition book

The "original" old Mead Composition Book is a classic. But recently Mead changed the Composition Book so that it's now worthless. The paper seems like it isn't 100% pure quality tree paper so it's not as smooth to write on, the cover is a messy "plastic-type" cardboard, the black tape comes off in 3 months. I hate these things now.



I bought 50 of these "new type" Mead Composition Books and the 10 new ones that I still have left, have rotted and the black tape has warped and come off. The 40 that I used up with writing, have also rotted and the black tape has come off. It's a real mess if you store them in old bookshelves. Some are made in India or Brazil and none are no longer made in the USA. The USA ones were the absolute best, with real tree paper, not "plastic-wax type" mesh waste paper, and real tree cardboard covers.



If you need fairly adequate paper to write on, get Japanese Stationery (ex: Apica Notebooks), Rhodia, Rediform DaVinci Notebooks, Leuchtturm Notebooks, Black n' Red Notebooks, or Clairefontaine, they're very good and of high quality. The paper is of a high standard.



Also, Moleskine Cahier Large Ruled Notebook (set of 3) and Writersblok Medium Ruled Notebook (set of 3), are good substitutes, of higher quality, for the Mead Black Composition Book if you're a writer like I am. It costs more but if you're a writer who needs decent paper to write on, it's well worth it.



If you're just using the Mead Black Composition Book for school notes, doodling or odd ends, it's at least useable with a good pen.



The "original" old Mead Composition Book didn't need to be changed. Bring it back.

The notebook:



The notebook is 100 sheets and it is wide ruled. I find thease handy for everything from a personal notebook to use for school or work. The covers are realatively sturdy, unlike spiral notebooks. The drawback is that you can't rip out pages, because The notebook is bound together by a sturdy thread.



All in all this notebook comes in handy for any purpose or any person.

Recently, I purchased a few of these composition books since my stash of them has been exhausted. These new composition books use flimsier cardboard and the paper isn't as good. When I compare them to my older books, I realize that these new books are not made in the USA. I don't know if this is the cause of the lower quality or maybe some greater use of recycled papers.



In any case, I've decided to move on to Rhodia notebooks. This is unfortunate because I have been using these products since the early 80s when I started kindergarten. Rhodia notebooks are a little bit more expensive, but for my journaling needs are worth it. I believe that Rhodia also uses some recycled paper to create their books.



Please bring back the quality to these books.

and it comes up a good deal. No, this little guy is not your 1970 prep-school notebook. It isn't specificallly designed as a ledger, an attorney's diary, or a government-meeting minutes book. Just lines and a cheap cover, although in the traditional marbled black. But it's one-third of list, for heaven's sake! It isn't what it used to be, but what is?



You've got 100 pages of white ruled paper, suitable for taking and keeping college notes (wish I had), or for quiet cafe sitting when inspiration strikes -- especially if you have nothing to prove (an artist or writer with a Franklin Covey-type leatherbound diary is probably neither). You can rip out a page with impunity if you want to give someone your phone number. Take it or leave it, but if you want to save part of a tree branch you can get, for about twice as much money, a "New Leaf" composition book, 30% recycled. And there's nothing wrong with that, either.



Now, pass the electrician's tape and let's commit posterity!

Mead Composition notebooks used to have nice, thick, sturdy, durable covers. Not anymore. Upon receiving my order, I was appalled to find that these notebooks now have a much thinner cover, which means that they will not stand up to the abuse of younger grade school students (Pre-K - K).

The 09910 Mead Composition Notebook is an excellent notebook.



What's odd is the current pricing on Amazon for offerings by third parties. It turns out that while the listed price per notebook is low, say $1.50, the shipping price per notebook is $5.00-$8.00. The kicker is that shipping costs don't go down if you buy in bulk: you still pay $5.00-$8.00 per notebook if you buy 10 notebooks. You'll pay as much or more for "shipping" as you will for the listed price of the notebook. Bottom line: the "listed" price is used to draw you in, but the vendor makes their profit in the "shipping charges".



I've found that the best pricing that includes shipping is around $3.00-$3.50 per notebook with shipping included, if you buy in bulk (e.g. 10 notebooks at once).

The "chrome acoustic chamber" is cheap plastic. My 8-yr old son had this on his new birthday bike for 10 minutes before the neighbor kid came out with his bike to see what it was and ran into the exhaust "pipe" with his bike's front wheel and it cracked a big hole in the middle of it! How cheap! I ended up taking silver duct tape and taping all the pieces from the hole back into place, and then duct taping the entire exhaust pipe to make sure it didn't break that easily again. For the price, I really expected a lightweight metal acoustic chamber and not cheap plastic. The cards and the card holder seem like they will last a long while. The sounds are fun and my son loves that he sounds like a motor bike. Good concept, but could definitely be improved in quality. More cards would be nice too. Turbospoke the Bicycle Exhaust System

Bought these for two grand kids birthdays. One dad loves it the other's response was "damn you "; he likes quiet. Good low priced fun present for kids w ho have everything. Gets them out of the house and awawy from the electric video games.

The exhaust pipe looks cool on the back of the bike but thats about it.. It sounds just like haveing a baseball card in the spokes.. not really like a motorcycle.. A baseball-like card is placed in the spokes just above the exhaust pipe and that is what generates the noise.. I was hopeing for something a little more , maybe electronic so it would sound more like a motorcycle.. but my 6 year old son thinks its cool..

I saw the videos online and had to get one for my nephews. It installed easily on the Mongoose 20" bike. The bikes in the videos have spoke wheels, and the sound is good. The bike I put it on has 5 spoke mag wheels . . . I think it sounds even better on the mag wheels. It is easy to install, seems to be a very durable plastic and best of all, it sounds cool!

We bought this for a smaller bike. Had trouble getting it to fit. Screws are in an awkward position. Cards that are supposed to hit the wheel wires, didn't. Couldn't get them into position. We had to junk the whole thing.

When I was a kid, we stuck playing cards on the frame of our bikes with clothes pins to make a motorcycle noise. Then I got version of this same turbospoke system when I was 11. I bought this turbospoke system for my 11 year old grandson for Christmas, and he couldn't wait to put it on his bike. He's transfixed with the motorcycle sound, and loves the variety of cards that can be installed. It doesn't use batteries, and it isn't something he can play sitting in front of a screen. I saw this awsome encyclopedia at borders books and had to have it, only I got a much much better price at amazon.

This highly informative and beautifully illustrated encyclopedia is full of gorgeous close up, in depth, full color photos of us currency, dateing as far back as the first us paper currency ever made . just an absolutly stunning look into our us past to present history.

The book is huge and has a hardback cover to protect its valuable contents from bending or tearing while browsing through it.

I used to think I was too young for coupons, but once I got into the hang of clipping and printing them, I needed something to organize them in. I chose this organizer/wallet and its great!! It is sturdy canvas (or something like that) and comes with 24 cardstock dividers and pre-printed category labels. You don't have to use them, but since they cover just about everything, I did. I can keep my cell phone and ID/cards in it as well, so I don't even bother lugging my purse around most of the time. I've recently started clipping coupons and couldn't get over how disorganized they were just floating around in my purse come my bi-weekly trip to the supermarket. I poked around for a coupon-organizer for a bit but didn't want one of those chintzy plastic ones or one of those cardstock ones like my mom used to carry around. I found this on Amazon. The price was right, the print was cute, and it's great. Comes with cardstock dividers that fit right in and pre-printed labels to designate. Slips right into my purse and now I don't look like a fool fumbling around for my coupons. No complaints.

I was looking for a cute fabric coupon organzer that attaches to the cart because the plastic ones are slick and hard to hold onto. This brand has lots of fabric options and I love the look of this one, but I would not recommend this brand to anyone that wants functionality. It doesn't expand very far, so if you have more than a few coupons, it is difficult to look into and evaluate your coupons. I have now purchased a Hannah Hansen coupon organizer and it is MUCH better in relation to functionality.

I got my new coupon organizer today and spent 30 minutes organizing and i believe I am going to love it? It's pretty, good size (will fit in my pocketbook) and I can't wait to hook it onto my shopping cart. Most importantly, this one won't start to tear like all the other cardboard ones I've had!

I bought this organizer for my husband for Christmas (he was previously using a ratty old paper envelope to organize our coupons). While this fabric isn't so masculine, it really IS a great little organizer, and I love the way it straps onto the shopping cart, so I don't have to juggle it and the coupons and my bag. Well worth it - I'd buy another if something happened to this one!

Being new to the whole "couponing" world, I needed a lot of help with the categories on the dividers, I was drowning in coupons! This coupon holder has a multitude of great dividers, it hold tons of coupons, and the fabric is attractive. Plus...it is American made!! Wow. That was a bonus. I would recommend this product to anyone, new or experienced, who clips and uses coupons.

I bought this for my wife as a gift from our children. She loves it, it is completely customizable and really gets you organized and saves time while shopping or preparing your list. The print is stylish as well so it doesn't look awkward if you carry it by itself, it could easily be mistaken for a ladies wallet. I would definately recommend this product.

This coupon holder is very attractive and made of sturdy, durable toile printed fabric that will last a long time. I like this coupn holder a lot! My only disappointment is that it doesn't expand so it is a little cumbersome when you are looking through for your coupons. It would be great to have some elastic fabric on the sides, or some other type of material for flexibility. Other than that, I really like this coupon organizer a lot!

I am new to coupon shopping and worried that I'd never actually use an organizer but I just love it.
