Swimming Goggles - swimming, fins

1. Packaging is # 1 product comes in plastic bag with draw string. Great for transport to and from pool if you desire !

2. Great fit for a slip on swim fin. The sizing chart is accurate so when ordering no need to worry that they run small or too big.

3. Great quality from previous swim fins. The rubber is soft and fits your foot like a glove. The size of the fins make them easy to carry around in your gym bag.

4. The product comes with inserts to help keep the shape but not sure really necessary to keep. I just think part of packing.

5. Price is reasonable !

6. Flippers move you through the water nicely but less then larger fins.

7. Great quality made in Italy and not very heavy.

I belong to a Master swim club. All the other swimmers use fins and I finally broke down and bouth a pair. These fins are awesome they really help break up the longer workouts. They fit well and over the last month I've used them they are holding up well.

I bought 1 size lower from my normal sneakers and shoes sizes and it was a perfect fit. I am also able to walk almost normally with the fins at the pool. Unlike the ones the pool provided where I had to walk like a penguin.

Very good fins to help keep your legs in shape for finning while getting good swimming(arm)excercise. Easy to maneuver when lap swimming. I would not recommend use for snorkling, They do not give you the push like divers fins. Also, they are holding up to my repeated use over the last 6 months.

The Aqua Sphere Microfin Fitness swim fins do exactly what I wanted them to do. I needed additional resistance for swimming as I am recovering from back surgery. Classic Movie - george cukor, classic movie

I have neither a Blu-ray player nor an HD TV so there was no reason to get the Blu-ray of this release. On my standard def TV the image is not as sharp and crisp as other recent Warner restorations such as My Fair Lady and Wizard of Oz. But, I've learned through some research that this is because ASIB was filmed in single-strip Technicolor and it is impossible to sharpen the image. Actually the print does look a bit cleaner than the old VHS version of the reconstructed film. Just don't expect sharpness throughout. The musical numbers look the best.

Remember that almost 30 minutes of the film was cut after its theatrical release and it was through the efforts of Ron Haver who, in 1984, was able to find stills to fill in where soundtrack sections were located. That is what this version is and it really fleshes out the story. (And a great story it is!). And it is wide screen, not pan and scan.

What makes this version "deluxe" is the additional two hours of new supplemental material. These are all on the second disc which is NOT Blu-ray even in the Blu-ray set. Two hours are the same material as on the last release. The new material includes additional versions of some songs with different costumes and a lot of audio-only bonuses. The disc containing the feature film is double sided with half on each side.

As far as acting goes, James Mason is amazing and perfect for the part. Garland sings her heart out and this is, of course, a must for Judy fans... many of who can quote her lines from the film from memory.

Some day I'm sure Warner will issue the "Ultimate Edition" of ASIB but, sadly this is the best it is going to look on your TV. This is why film preservation is so important!

If you've not seen this film, or haven't seen it in years, watch it.. It will draw you in and show you why Garland and Mason were stars. This is a true Hollywood classic.

"(That was) the greatest robbery since Brinks" said Groucho Marx upon Judy Garland's losing the Oscar for "A Star Is Born" to Grace Kelly. Politics always exists; and this time it exerted a cruel influence. Judy Garland deserved the Oscar for Best Actress in this film.

Of course, everyone pretty much knows the plot by now; either they've heard of it before they got to this web page or they read reviews by other Amazon reviewers. Judy Garland plays Esther Blodgett, a band singer whose career soars into superstardom when she meets and falls in love with Hollywood mogul Norman Maine, played brilliantly by James Mason. There are some ups and downs along the way, however. (In case you don't know the whole plot, I won't spoil it for you here!)

The love affair between Esther and Norman is well played out: indeed, the acting of all the performers is entirely convincing and made me wish for more high quality films to be put out today!

The plot bravely tackles the problems of the Hollywood life: careers going up and down, lives sometimes completely destroyed in the process. The "performances within a performance" are especially outstanding: we see Esther showcase and spoof the 1950s type musical in the scene where she shows Norman the "big" musical number ("Somewhere There's) A Someone At Last" at the studio; and the "Born in a Trunk" sequence is one of the most artistic and spellbinding experiences anyone could ever hope to achieve in any motion picture.

Yet even with its plot, the film is primarily a vehicle to showcase Judy's talents. She doesn't fail to disappoint! My eyes were glued to her the entire time she was on screen; her acting, singing and dancing were beyond remarkable. She belts out classic Garland numbers such as "Swanee," "Born in a Trunk," and "The Man That Got Away." This last song is arguably one of the best Garland signature songs ever along with "Over the Rainbow" from a film a few of you may have heard of!

In addition, Garland fans may note that Judy's real life personality is perhaps best described as a blend of Norman's behavior and Esther's incredible talent and resiliency. Equally important, the plot is based at least in part on the marriage of Frank Fay and Barbara Stanwyck.

While I agree with the reviewer who writes that there's only so much improvement you can make with the image quality because of the type of film they used when shooting this movie, nevertheless, the enhancement of the image quality that I did notice impressed me. The sound was quite good, too. Sadly, this movie remains cut by roughly three minutes; it never should have been whittled down just for the sake of the almighty dollar. No wonder Judy and director George Cukor were so infuriated they vowed never to watch the film again!

The DVD comes with wonderful extras on a second DVD disc. There are so many bonus features that I hardly know where to start! There are 5 additional takes for "The Man That Got Away;" alternate takes for "Here's What I'm Here For;" "Trinidad Cocoanut Oil Shampoo;" "When My Sugar Walks Down the Street;" and more including a vintage featurette with Jack Warner; a wonderful vintage featurette of The Pantages Premiere TV Special and quite a few audio tracks from the "audio vault." There's still more for you to discover including the 1942 Lux Radio Theater broadcast of "A Star Is Born" with Judy as Esther Blodgett and Walter Pidgeon as Norman Maine; and that's grand.

My only minor disappointment was that the movie, which could have been presented on a single side of a DVD disc, is instead presented to us on two sides of one disc and it disturbs the flow somewhat to have to flip the disc even if there was an intermission at one point when they showed this film in theaters.

In short, if you love musicals, Judy Garland, James Mason, or just plain top notch quality film in general, you simply can't miss this edition of A Star is Born on DVD! It is truly one of the greatest movies of the twentieth century starring one of the greatest entertainers America has ever been blessed enough to have: Judy Garland! - Musical - James Mason - Classic Movie - George Cukor'

Diamond Points - jewelry making, rotary tool accessories

This set of 20 bits costs less than one high-quality diamond bit from other sources, and the bits did the job for which they were purchased.

Used them to drill two 1/8 inch diameter holes in non-tempered window glass. This must be done slowly to avoid overheating and possibly fracturing the glass. Used several different bits to change shapes in the hope of making it go faster. When done, the holes were fine and all of the bits still seemed to have their abrasive surfaces.

I've read elsewhere that a high-quality diamond bit will last for perhaps three holes like these, and that it takes about two minutes to make one hole. Well, it took about 30 minutes per hole, but more than half of that time was spent pausing to let the glass and bit cool off. Since all of the bits still have diamond grit on them, it seems likely that they'll be able to make several more holes before wearing out.

NOTE: Tempered glass probably will shatter if drilled. This window didn't have a "tempered" logo in the corner and looked normal when viewed through polarized sunglasses. Pro-Quality 20-Piece Diamond-Point Bit Set for Rotary Tool - Glass, Stone, Ceramic

These generic diamond point bits work great on my dremel rotary tool and the price for 20 of them is cheaper than buying 1 bit of the dremel brand. I use them for engraving on glass and they have been great.

One of these diamond tipped bits will run you between $8.00 - $10.00 at any retail or hardware store. This set has every bit for any project you could think of and the power to handle almost any material. It is definately worth the money. Works great on glass, metal, and stone.

I am very very satisfied.

The drill bits worked fine on soft materials such as seashells as long as I didn't put too much pressure on the bit. But on harder materials such as ceramic or stone, the diamond coating wore off very quickly, rendering the bit useless. And yes, I did use lubricant.

These bits were purchased primarily for drilling sea glass for jewelry making. Since this was my first attempt at such a project, I didn't want to spend a lot of money experimenting.

Panasonic - 1080p, panasonic plasma

If you are like me, you put a lot of research into a expensive purchase like a flat screen television, especially since it is something you plan to use for several years. I chose the Panasonic G25 after months of research trying to determine which was "better", LCD or Plasma, while also investigating which brands and models were the best performers.

I purchased this TV as our main television in our family room. I own two other flat screens, both LCD and both from Panasonic, 32" and 42".

Set up is a breeze. The box is designed to be easily opened by releasing four plastic clips built onto the box. This allows the top (most of the box) to be lifted of the TV, while the TV remains secure and stationary in the lower part of the box. The included swivel stand comes in two pieces and is easily assembled with a few included screws. If you use this stand, you simply have to lower the TV onto the stand. This can be done vertically without laying the screen down on its face, since the design of the TV mounting components are flush with the stand. Some TVs require you to place the TV in a horizontal position to mount it to their stand. You possibly could do this assembly alone, as the TV is not very heavy, but due to sheer size, it is extremely prudent to have someone help you.

Many professional reviews will advise you to beware of plasma "burn in" of images, or using plasma in a brightly lit room. I worried about these two things constantly during my research.

Panasonic's manual does advise you not to leave a 4:3 image, or any still image on the screen on the screen for very long periods as it can contribute to some burn in. But in general, even if you watch 4:3 mode all day long, the TV has a couple of features which helps protect its image, including orbiting pixel technology and a scrolling bar which can be run across the screen to help cleanse it. I have watched a good deal of 4:3 format on this TV and have not had any issues whatsoever. The orbiting technology slightly moves pixels about, undetectable to the human eye, which really minimizes the chance of any burn in.

As far as a bright room, don't worry! My family room is decent size, and has a cathedral ceiling with a skylight, plus a southern wall that is almost all window and a sliding door on the opposite wall. So the room has lots of light. I can watch the TV during the brightest time of day without any loss of quality or viewing ability. The anti-glare feature of the screen reduces the natural reflective characteristics of glass down to practically nil.

I tend to watch most programming on the TV's THX mode. This will give you a somewhat less bright display than the G25's "Standard" or "Vivid" mode or compared to most LCDs, but personally I am looking for the most accurate, pleasing display, not simply "the brightest". If you do prefer a very bright display, the TV's numerous picture settings can easily give you a bright display.

I am a huge Panasonic fan, and that did factor into my choice of TV. I find Panasonic typically gives you high quality at a reasonable price.

As for price, you will spend several hundreds of dollars more for an LCD of comparable size and quality. Some better quality LCDs in this size range will cost double what the G25 sells for.

Most of the features on the TV and remote are intuitive and the menu offers general explanations of the purpose of each setting. The remote itself is well laid out and easy to navigate, although this was not very important to me since I am using my FIOS remote for most typical functions.

There are three HDMI ports on the TV, as well as RCA and component connections and coax input. There is also a PC port as well as two USB ports. The lone port type absent is S-Video. While S-Video is passé, if you have a DVD player that's a few years old, you might be using S-Video to connect to your TV, so be prepared to upgrade or switch cable types if need be.

The TV can also be networked either by Ethernet cable or wireless adapter. You must use Panasonic's adapter if you choose the wireless route, which is one of the few cons on this product. Compatibility with common wifi adapters would have been nice, since the Panasonic wifi adapter is over-priced. Although Panasonic confirmed you must use their adapter, I tried a couple of others any way, but the TV did not detect them. If you network the Tv you can make use of numerous features like direct connection to several services (some of which require a subscription or fee). Examples are Amazon Video on Demand (cost associated), YouTube (free), Pandora (free), Twitter (free, and a few others.

A couple of typical complaints about Panasonic TVs are the sound quality, and starting with the G series from 2009, the black levels displayed on the screen becoming lighter after several hundred hours of use. The sound is decent on the TV, and many people will probably cutover to their home theater for audio when playing DVDs or music-related TV programming anyway. I don't believe the concerns over the black levels are a huge issue. That is just my opinion; I am neither an expert nor any type of engineer. At the end of the day, everything I have read seems to indicate that the resulting black levels from Panasonic's firmware still leaves the display at a better black level than the competing Samsung products, so .........

Aside from being limited to Panasonic's wifi adapter, about the worst thing I can say about the G25 is that for the price, Panasonic could include some sort of cleaning cloth for the screen, which is typical even on their own lower end LCDs.

Overall, this television has astounding picture quality and realistic reproduction which is superior to any LCD or LED TV I've seen. For the price, you cannot go wrong or find a better flat screen HD TV.

If you are a making your first flat screen, HD television purchase, please remember that no matter what brand or type you buy, standard display will not be as sharp as high definition programming, and the larger the screen the more noticeable that is. Replacement Filters

This is the best price I've found for this particular filter replacement (I think free shipping option does help a lot to save money!).

It actually WORKS. I have two indoor cats and it's a huge difference when I actually run the filter and when I don't. I'm not really allergic to cats or anything, but when they shed, their fur gets everywhere, and who wouldn't sneeze if cat/dog fur gets into your nose and tickle or gets in your eyes? (A lot of people think they're ALLERGIC to some pets when they actually aren't, they're just reacting to extra particles in the air, animal fur in the air's like having a string of dust in the air, which would bother ANYONE who wants to breathe in that air).

Anyway, it also works well against filtering dust mites. I do my best to keep the house clean and linens not touching the floor or anything ever (nothing that has been on the couch where my cats have been can enter my bedroom and nothing that touches the floor gets put back on couch or bed - they get washed in hot water immediately), I steam clean the carpet often enough and bathe my cats in water before letting them loose on a clean carpet. But you simply cannot get rid of ALL dust mites when you have pets running around and own a couch or two even if you use your furniture-cleaning option on couches or upholstery. I am indeed allergic to dustmites actually, not just sensitive to them...

But if you have this filter on for more than 24 hours, it's SO MUCH easier to breathe and also my nose doesn't constantly run and my eyes don't turn red all the time like when I don't run the filter.

Just be careful and not ruin your filter without even using it much: read instructions and take care of it so you don't let this filter just sit there and go bad on you.

This filter works well in a medium sized room I have, I think it works decently in a bigger size livingroom too, although it takes a lot longer and I have to have it on the highest power.

If you don't run the filter frequently and just let it sit there, though, it can go bad easily, and dust mites it traps can actually fester inside the filter with non-moving air. So read instruction before you complain how your "newly replaced and only used once" filter made the air in your room worse. 'cause carbon can expire if you just let it sit there as well, and whatever it traps can fester inside if you don't use it for awhile. Note: The replacements have a carbon/charcoal filter attached to the front. The one that came with my HEPA filter didn't have a charcoal filter but was advertised/described as being a permanent filter which could be refreshed/cleaned by using a vacuum cleaner to suck up the collected dirt/dust. Not sure if possible to vacuum clean if the charcoal filter is in front of the HEPA filter folds.

These are after-market filters that do not work properly when compared with Honeywell filters. Filter paper is too dense to allow proper air flow through the air purifier. Recommend going to kaz.com for proper replacement filters***

I have been very pleased with this air filter! Not only does it cost less than most air filters out there, but it also does an excellent job at removing unpleasant odors from the air. I can turn on my Honeywell machine and in 20 minutes, this filter has the air is smelling fresh and clean. Highly recommended!'

I got this as part of my baby shower registry. I love it because it has a small size of everything that one needs for newborn, it also helped me decide on what products i really liked so later on i went ahead and got bigger bottles of lotions etc.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who was 2 months away from delivering. I checked in a department store after I priced it on amazon. To my surprise they had it but of course it was a little more pricey. Great gift and the basket can be used after all the products are used.

I was given this gift set at a baby shower for the birth of my second baby. I loved it! It was so useful and everything came in handy. Now my baby is 16 months old and I have started replacing the items that are running low. She uses the gift basket to keep a few small toys and books in to play with as I change her diaper and likes to carry it around by the handle. I'm so pleased with this set that I am buying another set for the birth of my third baby due this autumn.

I purchased this along with a couple of other items as shower gifts for someone and shed loved it. It is most of the essential bath items needed to wash and keep the baby clean. Comes in the cute little gift bundle and is easy to keep up with since everything fits in the basket. She said it is just as cute in person as it is in the pictures.

when buying liquids or lotions online, i always worry the sizes arent big enough to actually try for a couple weeks without running out. this gift basket is great, me being a new mom myself i bought this to try, sizes are great, and gives u a perspective on wbhat you want to use later.

I just received this product. It did not come with the duck in Amazon's photo or any other photo I've found for this product on other sites. I contacted Johnson & Johnson today. They advised me that the product first came with a yellow duck, then it was changed to a blue hippo. The hippo was removed as of Dec 2009. Cooling

right out of the box..... you can tell it's quality. It's heavy, tight and the lid snugs down well. I also bought the cooler top cushion to use as a console seat on my Carolina Skiff, even with the straps running under the cooler lid, it NEVER affected it's ability to keep my stuff cold. Worth every penny, and cheaper than you will find it in the store. Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme Marine Cooler

This is just what you should expect from Coleman. The product is sturdy. The lid fits tightly with the body. The handles are heavy-duty. Two 20 LB bags of ice last the entire weekend with 90 degree heat before melting to water on day three.

Recently purchased this cooler and have no regrets. We had 2 coolers for a 3 day camping weekend. At the end of the weekend, the other cooler (54 qt standard coleman cooler) was almost fully melted, while this cooler was mostly ice with barely any water to drain. Would definitely recommend!

These coolers may keep ice for 5 days at 90 degrees (I have not tried this particular test, yet), but their construction is shoddy. I bought this cooler (Coleman Extreme Marine 70qt) for $49 at the same time that I also purchased a Coleman Extreme 70qt for $39. As near as I can tell, the ONLY different between these two coolers is that the Marine version is completely white where the regular Xtreme is blue with white lid. EVERYTHING else is completely identical. (Trust me, I looked over these two coolers for 20 minutes trying to spot the difference. There is none. So the first irritating thing is that for $10 more, you get nothing. Fortunately for me, the construction is so shoddy, I am forced to return this cooler.Examples of shoddy construction:-the bottom part of cooler is constructed of two pieces of plastic (inside part and external part) with foam in between. The seam where the two pieces of plastic comes together is not sealed properly. In some cases this gap is about 3/64". This compromises the integrity of the cooler. (This was way more prominent on the Marine version of the cooler. But, I have a feeling it is just inconsistent manufacturing and some Coleman coolers will be more screwed up than others, regardless of model. Wish I could find a store that carried them, as I could pick and choose and find the least crappy one, instead of ordering online and playing the lottery.)-hinges are cheap and thin plastic that I suspect will break in less than a season-handles are cheap plastic held together by cheap plastic pins (doubt they last more than one trip)-drain plug is cheap plastic cover type and not screw type-no basket to keep dry things dry-inside of lid looks like it has channel for rubber seal, however, A) there is no seal and B) more infuriating is the fact that in 8 little places and one larger place near handle, this channel is missing, so you cannot even put in a seal yourself to completely seal cooler.-no latch on frontMy recommendation is that you DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COOLER. If you must purchase a Coleman cooler, save $10 and buy the regular Xtreme version. Then, make the following mods:1 pull out pins on plastic handles and replace handles with rope

2 replace hinges with stainless steel

3 seal seam between two plastic parts of bottom section of cooler

4 buy appropriately-sized cheap freezer basket and rig inside cooler to keep dry things dryTo go crazy with your mods you can add the following:5 add foam seal to channel in lid where you can

6 add a couple draw latches to front

7 add some non-skid rubber feet

8 replace drain plug with screw typeThen you might have a decent cooler. Or you could bite the bullet and get a Yeti or Engel which are built like tanks.

This cooler is no better than the basic coolers you can find in most stores that cost half as much. I purchased this cooler thinking the extra cost would provide the benefits that were advertised. I put 16lbs of ice in a cooler filled with drinks and had to replace the ice every other day. My cooler was outside in the shade with daily high/lows of 85/60 degrees. The handles appear to be too flimsy for a cooler of this size and flexed too much. I purchased two other Coleman products with this cooler (another small extreme cooler and a chair). The other two items were complete junk and I returned them the day I received them. I also had a disappointing experience with a Coleman grill. I do not recommend any Coleman product.'
