After owning the iPad for 4 month, I recently bought a tab for my wife. She likes the small size of it and can carry around easily in a small handbag. Since she keeps the tab in the bag all the time, it is necessary to have some kind of protections. She is a perfectionist and wanted to have something that is perfectly fit and have good fashion design. We found this item from the same seller who I bought the iPad case from, but with a different brand. When we received the case today, we were very satisfied with its quality. The material is very good soft leather. The design is kind of similar to the iPad case I have bought previously so we all like that.
It stands up in 2 different positions and is ideal for viewing videos and typing message. All the ports and buttons are accessible. It gives ample protection from keys and other hard objects that might be placed next the tab in the handbag. Very good and attractive product. The case arrived well packaged. The case fits well, but its a little bit tight. There is no problem sliding the tablet in, but taking it out again to put it in a dock takes a bit more force. The front of the case folds underneath and slides into a tab on the back side to prop it up on a flat surface.
It uses 2 magnets on the corners to hold the cover in place when closed instead of a latch. On the inside there, are 2 credit card sized slots where you might store something thin. There are slots in the material that holds the tablet in place that lets you access everything on the edges of the tablet as well as the 2 camera openings on the front and back.
Overall, I rate it a good buy.
This is not only a great buy, and, the leather case is comparable to those I've priced at $50 locally in retail stores.
It provides protection for your Tab, and holds it securely without hindering the command features at the bottom. All other features are very accessible via perfect cutouts where they need to be. I also like the magnetic closure and 2 internal slots for business cards.
The Bear Motion case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab... what's not to like?
The material is a a good quality leather, soft to the touch, well padded and the stitching is attractive and subtle.
The fit is good, although, there could be allowed a little more room on the right side of the case, but with some wear this should work out.
The design is such that you can use the case as a stand in landscape mode, or use the same feature to get a good grip on the device while in portrait mode.
There are two small magnets that hold the case closed when not in use.
Always use a screen protector on any device. As with any phone or tablet, when the case comes into contact with the glass screen, it can scratch it over time. While the inner material is soft on the Bear Motion case, holding the Tab around the edges with this cover, could cause some scratches on the screen. This is not a design flaw, by any means, but merely a reality -- always use a screen protector on your devices.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this case and will purchase a spare. This case is so easy to use but also very smart. The Galaxy Tab fits in it perfect. The front and rear cameras are usable as is every other port and button. The leather is so nice and soft. It looks very professional and high class! I bought the Galaxy Tab and cover as a Mother's Day gift and now I want to keep it for myself. I will definitely buy another cover when I get my Tab.
Very few times you get something that really works great, looks good and feels good. Well, this is that product. It fits my Samsung Galaxy 7 incher just like a glove.
