Throws - throws, blanket with sleeves

In theory, the snuggie might be a good idea, but it sheds like you wouldn't believe. It's practically unusable it sheds so much. The material is so low grade and cheap, fabric sheds off in large patches even after washing it many times. I can't believe I had never heard this problem before I went and bought one. If you read this, do yourself a favor and do not buy this terrible product. The Snuggie Blanket w/ Free Booklight - Burgundy Color

The pilling and shedding from this blanket is so ridiculously bad. It has ruined a load of towels I threw in the wash with it - red pieces of the snuggie all over the towels, and impossible to pick off since there is so much. I tried using the snuggie, but it shed so much on my clothes and couch - will be throwing out this piece of junk.

I was given 2 snuggies as gifts and they are very warm and comfortable however after just 2 washes the fleece started pilling. For those out there that are unschooled in the differences in fleece, pretty much every fleece in the world is soft and warm to begin with. One of the biggest differences between high quality and low quality fleece lies in the "pilling effect". Pilling occurs when the garment's fibers roll up, often after being washed, and lie on the surface like tiny round pills. This pilling effect serious effects almost every aspect of the fleece including how it feels and its ability to keep heat in. All fleece pills eventually. You can tell how old a Patagonia synchilla jacket is based off of how much pilling has taken place. High quality fleece doesnt pill for quite some time and cheap fleece starts to pill almost immediately. I had serious pilling after only 2 washes with the Snuggies and I am over 20 washes with my Slankets and they still havent shown any sign of pilling yet.

The bottom line - Snuggies are cheaper but you get what you pay for. A Slanket costs more but its going to last you a considerably longer amount of time than the snuggie and it will keep its softness and its ability to keep in warmth much longer than the Snuggie. I gave my Snuggies to the Salvation army and purchased 4 Slankets. My advice is to stay as far away from the Snuggie as possible. Spend a little more and get something that is actually much higher in quality.

I wish I had read these reviews before buying this product. It is warm and snug, but I have lint-balls everywhere! Unless you like vacuuming your sofa and carpet every single day, save your money and buy a regular blanket.

This product was advertised as a genuine "Snuggie" and even showed the "Snuggie" packaging, however when it arrived it was in a plastic bag and was obviously a cheap knock-off. There is a label on the sleeve of a real "Snuggie" that this one did not have and this one was very thin and flimsy. I do not recommend this product of this vendor. It may seem like a small thing, but I dislike liars and cheats.

Well, our devoutly Christian family takes our Christmas celebration to a higher level, but the gifting of these Snuggies has proved to be the smash hit of the gifts received! From the youngest to the oldest member, not one day has gone by that we have not used it. This is a very cold winter and it is saving us on our gas bill. Since that holiday, our thermostat hasn't needed to exceed 70 degrees and usually we are keeping it at 68. They are comfortable, cozy, "attractive" and just darn nice. The only caveat is to make sure that you read and follow the laundering instructions. If you do, you will be happy with your Snuggie.

Let them make jokes on late night television. We prefer to be cozy and warm to being a member of the "cool elite".

The Snuggie is fine, but came in a black wrapper. Where's the box??? Giving this as a gift was semi-embarrassing in that I gave the Snuggie in a gift bag, but it looked like I used it already, since it was not in a Snuggie box. Snuggie itself was in perfect condition though, and was delivered very fast

The Snuggie is a cute concept, but the material is low quality and very prone to static.

#2 the product had a strange odor after taking it out of the packaging.

In addition, it barely stays on since there is no tie in the back and limited material.

Lastly, never wash it and dry it with other items. The Red Fluff goes over everything.

bottom line -- Don't buy it - Throws - Cheap Quality - Blanket With Sleeves'
