Hard To Fit Calf

So, they are pretty awesome. Look much more expensive than the price. The ankle is a bit large but smaller than all of the wc boots I have tried. I have smaller ankles, so that baggie look is not what I am going for, and I about gave up and was starting to look for those 'made to look baggie around the ankles' boots, but these are great. They are true to size. The calf fits perfectly when I put them on, but if I am wearing stockings they tend to get loose as the day wears on. Will be buying the brown for sure!

Ships from amazon, but needed them for an occasion, so missed out on the free shipping. Annie Shoes Women's Bias Wide-Calf Boot,Brown,7 M US

I'M A GAL WITH WIDE CALF SO FINDING A PAIR OF BOOTS THAT ACTUALLY FITS AND ZIPS ALL THE WAY UP WAS A SURPRISE FOR ME. I WILL RECOMMEND THESE BOOTS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS THIS PROBLEM WITH TALL BOOTS. THE BOOTS REACH ME AT MY KNEES.I'M PLANNING ON BUYING ANOTHER IN BROWN. EXCELLENT BUY. THE MATERIAL IS PRETTY GREAT ALSO.

....I finally found some nice boots to fit my calves! I really like them...very nice quality, soft leather, beautiful design. The toe area is a little roomy, but nothing I can't make up for with an insert. THANKS!

Friday... They arrive! The Bad first: The foot is roomy. If only I'd order the 10 - but that would have made no sense... The heel feels a little wobbly, but not too bad (I have weak ankles). The Good: The shaft fits perfectly, and that was my biggest worry. They're gorgeous and lovely and I wish I could get them in black too!

-time passes-

Monday... OH NO!! I really tried... when I said the foot is roomy, I was understating the case. Order at least one size smaller. Also, the point of the heel has no grip. A little dangerous for someone with the aforementioned weak ankles. So sad, I'm returning them today.

I bought these boots to dancing! I know, crazy...but after 4 hours, my feet were only beginning to hurt. These boots were so comfy to wear I absolutely love them to wear to work with leggings and skirts. They have a beautiful swirl design so that they are not too plain and the heel is just right, not too high to have to walk in at work. Recommend!

I'll admit, I bought this boot for its wideness. I measured my calf's girth, and it measured around 17.5 inches, so I decided that this was pretty much the only boot that would fit me (since the given measurements are 17" at the opening of the boot). However, this boot was actually quite a bit too wide for me.

I really liked the feel of the boot, with its simple design and smooth texture, but unfortunately I had to return it because of the size. I now have a pair of boots that Amazon claims to be 16" at the calf, and they fit quite nicely.

So, I only rate this down because of the incorrect reporting of size. Otherwise it's quite nice.

The fit was a little weird (kinda pointy so my toes felt a little cramped). The wide calf did fit nicely however because of the uncomfortable pointy toe and heel, my foot seems to slide forward, cramping my toes even more. In the end, I sent these back.

The boots have a nice design, but they are a bit cheap looking and the cuff at the top was too roomy. I wanted a boot for wide calves, but the extra material that sticks out beyond the calf looks ridiculous. I returned them for a pair that fits the curve of the leg, but nice snug at the top.

I have been looking for knee high black boots for a year. Ordered these in a 10W. The boot fit and it is pretty and seemed comfortable for the few minutes I had them on, but the shaft was so wide I could have fit my 3 year old's leg in there with mine!! I am 250 and 6 ft tall, so I do not have small calves by any means (measure 17" at the biggest)! I think the boots are great, just know that "wide" mean all the way up the shoe! Kinda bummed I have to send these back.'
