The photo had me wondering if this was a brand-name Kodak battery or a knockoff, since Amazon's photo shows the back of a battery with no Kodak markings visible. The battery I received was indeed Kodak branded, in Kodak packaging like the customer-provided photo. The camera was just ok. My older Kodak I liked much more. I tried to find another rechargeable battery for the older camera but couldn't find one.
We decided to buy another Kodak because of the performance of the 7 yr old camera.
The first thing we noticed was that the battery (Kodak brand) that came with the camera didn't last very long. So we purchased another one (Kodak brand) to take to a kid's event. The two new batteries combined didn't last ½ of the way thru the 3 hour performance. Mostly pictures were taken and a few short videos. We had non-rechargeable Duracell batteries in the older camera and it lasted thru the performance.
Because of this, we are going to try another brand and sell this 6 month old camera on e-bay.
I checked on other sites and they say the same thing about the battery that this camera uses. It does not hold a charge long and does not last very long after a few recharges. - Kodak'
