Bath Shower Caddy - 3m, shower

I love this caddy! It was easy to attach to my tile wall. I had no problems with it whatsoever. I kept our soap in there as well as 5 or 6 bottles of face scrub, shampoo, etc... It's easily removed from the wall and therefore easier to clean. Honestly, I love these 3m adhesive products. I'd buy any of them. I'm thinking about the toothbrush holder next. 3M Command 17603B Large Shower Caddy with Water-Resistant Strips

We have two of these and they work GREAT! The only problem I had was when I installed one but didn't follow the instructions (holding the strips against the shower wall for 30 seconds), and it fell off after a day or two. Once I followed the instructions, they have stayed up for YEARS. We have Costco sized containers of shampoo and conditioner in them and they don't budge. And I just saw that they're dishwasher safe, which makes for super easy cleaning. I can't recommended these more!

This is just what I wanted. Goodbye to rusty poles and suction cups! Very happy!

Note: Test before you buy. Some folks give this product a poor review when it doesn't adhere to the surface of their choosing. Personally, I feel that is unfair. The fact is, the adhesive strips are going to stick well to some surfaces and not others. Don't just assume that because you have a certain surface that it is going to stick. TEST FIRST. Inexpensive 3M Command hooks and strips are available in almost any store. Buy some. Try a hook out in your shower and hang something with a little weight. See how well it holds. If it does, and you like this shower caddy, then you should get it. If it does not hold, no big financial loss. (You could still probably find a place in your home where the 3M Command Hooks *will* work.)

My caddy has held up on my shower tile for 30 days. It has survived many showers. When cleaning my shower, I remove the caddy (the caddly slides up and off small plastic panels that stay adhered to the tile). The caddy has survived two full shower cleanings. I will update my review if anything changes.

I was actually hesitant to try this caddy because my shower tile is not smooth like glass. It is not porous, but it has a slight texture to it. Honestly, the texture may be beneficial--in a way that other surfaces require a good "scuffing" before adhering products such as paint, tile, inner tube patches, etc.

In the end, I give this caddy a big thumbs up and I am VERY happy with it. You may be too. Again, try testing with inexpensive 3M Command Hooks first.

I've had my shower caddy for YEARS. 5 apartments over the course of 5 years! Every time I move, one of the first things I do is hang up the caddy on the shower wall with replacement strips. You HAVE to press down on them when you stick them on! I've *never* had mine fall down off any of the walls, even after being up for 2 years in once place!

I love, love, love Command strips- they work fabulously on most walls, as long as you follow the instructions and weight/use guidelines!!

I love this shelf. We have it loaded up with about 4 bottles of shampoo & conditioner, and shave gel... it holds tight! After trying various others, this one is the best!! Ours arrived without the razor hook, but otherwise, it has been great. Stuck strong on fiberglass shower unit, no slippage like suction cups mount shelves, and actually holds LARGE bottles. We love it!

This is the first caddy that actually stayed on the wall. I have tried many different caddies and they all seem to fall down. I don't have a tiled bathtub/shower and suction cups don't usually stay. This was the first product that I found that did. It's a great caddy for putting your shampoos, conditioners, etc. Be very careful on how your originally put the caddy as you will not be able to move it very easily if you place it wrong.

In addition, you don't have to worry about this one rusting, which seems to be a problem with most of the other stainless steel caddies. As always, you'll get the best price here. True, it isn't as big as many of the other ones, but you may not need one that big. I used this because I love Dove soap, but as anyone who has kept any type of soap with a good amount (as compared to other soaps) of lotion in it on those built in shower soap caddies...it get's mushy and mushy fast. And when it isn't getting mushy, you end up playing foot hockey with the thing when it slides off said built-in shower caddy. No more. I installed this thing with ease, and now all our shower condiments, or whatever you call them, are out of the way. I tested the strength of the caddy by putting a decent amount of downward pressure and they seem to be pretty sturdy. They even give you an extra set of adhesive for when you end up moving it later on down the road, or if you just messed up the first time around trying to install it. There are also general replacement adhesives at any moderately-sized grocery or warehouse stores in cased you messed up twice or you fantsy moving apartments often. It's not shown in the product pic, but there's actually a little hook with two prongs on the end that you can hook your back brushes (or whatever else) onto. You just insert the non-pronged side sideways into the little slits you see on the caddy and then turn it flat so it "attaches" onto the caddy. If you're having trouble visualizing the size of the caddy and whether you can accommodate your shower condiments (I'll figure it out, eventually), you can fit a decent-sized (meaning non-Costco) shampoo/conditioner bottle and a bar of soap on each end, and a bar of soap right in the middle. You might be testing the strips this way in the long haul though. Overall, this is a great buy that solved more than one problem for me. Two-thumbs up.

I had been looking for a shower shelf for some time only to be disappointed each and every time. Finally, I found this shelf to hold on to the ceramic tile in our shower. The tile had a texture and would not hold anything that I tried to stick to it. This product worked...and is still working...holding shampoo, conditioner, body wash..and shaving cream! A+ product. - Shower - Bath Accessories - Bathroom - 3m'
