This product works great! It opens mail and packages with ease. Fits comfortably in my hand. Sleek design. The only draw back to ordering this item, is that YOU do not get to choose the color. The price is for one, and the color of THEIR choice. I wanted the purple, I received the red. It doesn't go with the decor of my desk. After looking in a few retail stores locally, I couldn't find this, so I splurged and bought it online. It still works the best of all the various letter opener designs I've tried over the years. The shipping is a bit steep for something so little so I would recommend buying a few of these and giving them as stocking stuffers or party favors or something. Thumbs Up to Amazon for correcting the picture as the other reviewer noted.
So, I was looking for a letter opener and I bought this one. Because I failed to read the "sold Singly" at the end of the title (it's a very long title), I was suprised when I received just one and not three of them (as the product image shows). Because of this a let a negative rating commenting that "Product image shows three pieces and you receive only one."
Immediatly I get this response in the Seller's feedbak page at amazon:
Seller Response: "NOW FOR THE WHOLE TRUTH : Title States SOLD SINGLY, Product Details & Product Description both state SOLD INDIVIDUALLY. The Image shows the three colors the item is supplied in. We're so sorry you wasn't able to comprehend the listing text. Maybe it's just an April Fool ?" Date: April 1, 2011
And I also received this email from them:
