Holsters - seidio, htc inspire case

After the 1st purchase of this case & holster, I bought a 2nd one. The case has a soft velvet feel (but it's not velvet). Fits my HTC Inpsire perfectly! I actually dropped my phone not long after I purchased the case & holster. The phone fell face down on a sidewalk! I was scared to pick it up but my phone did not have a scratch on it! The case got a little banged up but I was fine with that! I was worried also about the holster scratching the face of the phone when trying to clip it in the holster but so far I have not scratch my phone. The holster has a strong clip that can be worn in the veritcal or horizontal position. Perfect fit for this phone, case & holster are exactly as shown, I received both of them in about 3 days after placing the order, & would recommend. The Seidio Innocase II & Holster combo is one of the best ideas I've seen in carrying your smart phone. It fit my HTC Inspire perfectly. The phone with case snaps into the holster with authority and is easily removed. I've only had it a few weeks now and this case actually feels like it could outlast my phone. The Innocase II is not cheap, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this product.

The felt inserts are a nice touch. It fits the HTC inspire perfectley. the clip holds the phone securely to my side and gives me peace of mind that its safe. Spring on top is strong and tight, will see how long it stays that way. But very happy with design. Like the thinness as compared to otter box thick case, which they said is not out for sale yet....but can be seen online.

As was said in the previous review, this product is expensive, however, it is certainly worth it. Unlike other most other covers, this one is easy to take apart and put back together - something pretty essential if you have the need to remove a battery or the SD card. I love the holster's belt clip and the fact that it swivels 180 degrees. The locking clip is very nice, too, big enough to flip to get your phone out with relative ease. Above all, the best feature of this combo is that the phone's face is not sticking out where it can be damaged, but is facing in towards the clip. The speakerphone, its mic and the camera are exposed, but that's a lot better than having the phone's face exposed, IMO.

Again, well worth the money. This phone is an investment ($500 or so for a replacement), so 10% of its cost is not unreasonable for a good quality case and holster.

This case combo is perfect for the inspire. It is not too bulky which I hate feel like I have a piece of luggage hanging off my hip. All in all I am happy with it. It was a bit pricey but what case combo isn't?

This case is great and with a combined belt holster you cannot beat it. Been using for a bout 3 weeks now and dropped my phone getting out of a suv, forgot I had it on my lap which so many people have done and that is a pretty far drop and the case protected the phone with ease. The case also offers great grip when holding the phone even if your hands are wet or sweaty.

I travel between the US and Brazil monthly. This is an excellent case. I was a little skepticle about whether the phone would come out on its own, but the clip holding it in is surprisingly strong yet easy to get out when you need it. Only drawback I found was when turned a certain way on the belt, it can pinch a little when bending. Overall: A+

Very happy with this case. There is nothing cheap about it's construction and I expect it to outlast the phone.

Now that I learned how to remove case. When done correctly little effort is needed; otherwise an atomic bomb won't get this case off.

1. Place phone face down on a table

2. Push down with your right thumb on the word SEIDIO on the lower part of the case

3. With your left Hand, squeeze the sides of the upper part of the case as close as you can to the "split" or "Crease" bewtween both cases

Wireless Printer - canon, wireless printer

So got this printer for the wife for Christmas. Great printer slick has everything I need in a printer...... Except and endless supply of ink. I literally printed of 2 photos and test papers and a passport application. I looked at the ink levels and the yellow and cyan are running REALLY low for that amount of printing.

I will say that the photos are FANTASTIC and even went as far as to buy the great quality paper. The printer pictures are SUPER clear and great quality.

The wireless capabilities makes it easy for me to place this where ever I want and not have to take up space around my desk. Did find I had to remove the back plate for it to feed paper correctly from the back feeder.

All in all a good printer but waiting to see what the ink costs will be. I will keep you updated. Canon PIXMA MG6120 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer (4503B002)

Canon has done such an amazing job with this printer, not only performance wise, but also on quality, design and ease of use. I used to own a Canon MP500, but later needed a wireless printer. I was recommended to get an HP because of their good reputation, larger ink cartridges, and lower cost to maintain - which to an extent was true, ink on the HP lasted me about 6-months compered to the MP500's 3-4 months, and the HP ink also cost less. In reality, who cares how much the ink cost, when the HP was the noisiest thing in my office, slower than snail-mail (exaggerating), and it printed the most horrible images and documents. ...or maybe it was just me since I had already experienced what Canon was capable of.

I am really happy I purchased the Canon MG6120. Within the last month, I've purchased a MacBook Air, iMac, Time Capsule and HP Media Server, and all I can say is that I really don't care about those gadgets, I'm simply super excited about my printer purchase - it is by far the best printer I have ever used - it't print quality is on par with the thousand dollar printers my company purchases for media services.

Installation was a breeze, it's just a matter of unpacking the printer, removing all the wrap on it, aligning the print heads, and using it's cool mini LCD to input my wireless network info. Once that's done, simply insert the driver CD into the computer and follow the on-screen instructions (pretty much just click "next" over and over after telling it it's a wireless setup. The only thing that I found a bit annoying was that I had to install using the CD on all 3 of my computers, where on the HP I just had to install one one computer, and after than all the other computers could find it on the network. I might be missing something, so it might be my fault and not Canon's - I'm no network expert. I have been able to get Canon app to work from the iPad; it's only good for pictures though.

Those of you needing high print quality will not be one bit disappointed with this printer. The scanner also works really well, I've already used it to send scans to my computer, and to make photo copies. After creating a photocopy, several people had issues trying to determine which was the original document, which did have an actual pen-written signature.

I needed to replace the printer I was using since I enter photo shows and submit photos to a stock agency I needed excellant results. After shopping around for along time I decided to purchase the Pixma. I was not disappointed. I am now getting top quality prints, lab quality. The only quirk I noticed was that until you break the printer in, you tend to use more ink; but after replacing the cartridges once, that has settled down to normal usage. Great product Canon.

This printer prints great...no problem with quality, connectivity, etc. BUT WOW....a few pages and you're buying $70.00 worth of ink in little ink tanks that have LED's built into them--totally unnecessary. This replaced my previous PIXMA printer which actually did pretty good on ink. These tiny little cartridges essentially evaporate within a few pages. So go buy 6 of them? RIGHT!!! Don't be fooled!! Inexpensive

I only print about 30 pages/year & am thoroughly burned out on blocked inkjet printers.

This was easy to set up - the Mac actually asked to download the drivers! So far fast and clear prints for the price of 2 ink cartridges. Brother Printer HL-2220 Monochrome Printer

This is the third Brother monochrome laser printer I have owned. I was really happy with my first two and so when I needed a new printer, I bought the HL 2220 immediately. I wish I hadn't. There are two serious problems with it. The first is that it is very noisy and it takes a long time (15 minutes or longer) to go into sleep mode. At this point, I simply turn the printer off when not actually printing. The second (and this is more serious) is that it generally does not print an entire document. Instead, it simply stops after a few pages and I have to hit the resume button. This is more than just an annoyance as it only prints part of a page in the first print job before resuming and printing out the document. Thus it wastes a considerable amount of paper. I updated the firmware from the Brother website but it did not help. Frankly, it is not that hard making a laser printer that actually works and I am disappointed that Brother did a poor job with this printer. It does, however, do a nice job of printing text as did all my other Brother printers. I'll update this if I ever get the problem fixed.

Well, my printer just arrived today. Though it took a few days for the order to process, it only took 2-days to ship.

PROS:

This is a nice fairly compact laser printer. It's easy to set up. Print quality is clear and has nice contrast. When I bought this printer it was only $69.99 with free shipping, but I see now in less than a week later it's gone up to $89.99 + Shipping costs. For the price I paid I'd say this was a great deal.

CONS, but not a deal breaker:

I would've given it 5-stars except for a few points: 1) No USB cable included. It seems to be a fairly common practice with companies these days, but it's annoying. These cables don't cost that much (Belkin high speed USB for $4.95 on Amazon) but it's an inconvenience to have to order it separately. And because they don't cost much, how much is any electronics company saving vs. keeping their customers happy? 2) The printer is fairly noisy even in standby mode. However, it eventually goes into power save mode when not in use for long and that is completely noise-free. 3) Printing quality, though excellent, is not as good as my 10-year old Brother laser printer specifically when dealing with grayscale. These three points are things to consider, but I do believe they are only worthy of loss of 1-star.

This is a great printer for a small or home office that doesn't require high-output printing.

I wanted a reliable, low-cost laser printer that wouldn't bleed me dry paying for new ink cartridges. This one is perfect. It was very easy to get up and running. The print quality is as good as it gets, and there's nothing complex or involved about it to have to devote useless time to learning. It's not as small and pristine white as the picture makes it look -- mine is a dove gray color and does take up some room on my desk, but that's the small stuff. Also, I don't use it every day, so I can't rate it for high volume print jobs. But for the occasional letter, it really is a good little machine. Very glad I bought it.

This a very reliable printer that is very fast and low cost excellent printer

The only con typical of all of them is the slight fan hum which leaves when it hibernates after 5 minutes

I own 5 now for my small business office'

The Canon A1200 has the features which we value most and as such, is our favorite digital camera. In particular,

* It can take wide angle photos - the equivalent of 28mm on the older film SLR's

* It uses 2 AA batteries which is great - especially when traveling overseas. In the past, we encountered too many occasions when a battery became exhausted in the middle of the day or could not be recharged at night. This was especially true when traveling overseas. So now we only consider cameras which use AA batteries because they can be purchased almost anywhere.

* It takes HD video.

* Its size is compact and can easily fit in a pocket or purse. Years ago, I enjoyed taking photos with SLR's and wore out 3 of them (the film versions). However, I missed many shots on vacation because I did not want to carry an SLR everywhere I went. The compact size of the A1200 allows us to carry it everywhere with ease. And it takes high quality photos.

* This camera does not offer as many options as some others. However, it gives you the options people use most of the time. I do not miss the other ones.

There are a few negatives. Cords to connect the camera to a TV or DVD recorder are sold separately. And it is difficult to force the camera to flash - it wants you to choose the mode and it will decide whether to use the flash. Also, this camera does not have the option to merge 2 or 3 shots into a panoramic picture. And it does not zoom in as close as some other cameras. All that said, we shopped around a lot and, in our opinion, the A1200 has the best combination of features and size. Canon Powershot A1200 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom (Black)

I bought the Canon A1200 because I wanted a small point and shoot that I could take everywhere with me. Other selling points were the optical viewfinder which I don't really use much, as well as the AA batteries. I use Sanyo Eneloops in this camera and they work great. I don't know how many pictures I can take with them on a single charge because I end up recharging them before they die completely.

The biggest surprise for me has been how well this camera does in low lighting. I have sometimes had trouble with getting good exposures in the dim lighting in my house but not with this camera. The sensor seems to be tuned for low light performance and it is a consistent performer for birthday parties or just taking snapshots of my kids.

I uploaded a few of the artistic shots I've made with this camera and I can say that the A1200 has exceeded all of my expectations for a point and shoot camera at this price range. It is a great performer and with a little effort it will take great images. I've messed around with some of the preset options and they help a little bit, but the auto setting works well if you don't want to fiddle with things. Also, the Discreet Mode is great! I accidentally took a picture with auto-flash and interrupted a speaker, so now I always use this mode to disable the focus light and flash when needed.

On a final note, I bought a Lowepro Volta case and it's a perfect fit, though there is no room for spare batteries. I just wanted a slim package that I can fit in my pocket. It's a bit bulky but not an inconvenience. I highly recommend this camera if you are on a budget and want a solid performer at the hundred dollar price range.

Like it's Powershot siblings, the Canon A1200 is a heck of a nice piece of equipment for shooting nature close-ups. I've taken this camera out twice now, and so far it has taken wonderful photos. I've posted some samples from a single hike.

Although the A1200 can't squeeze in on a subject as closely as the A480 (one of my all-time favorite cameras), this new Canon camera is capable of focusing just an inch and a half away from the subject in "Macro" mode. I usually carry one or two Pentax DLSR cameras as I hike through miles of woodland trails every weekend, and although they're great cameras, they simply can't beat Canon Powershots for capturing the tiniest nature subjects, in my opinion. If a subject is smaller than a quarter, out come the Powershots.

This camera takes photos that easily match or beat the quality of images you'll find in typical nature guides by Peterson or Simon & Schuster. Spend a year on the trail with it, and you could easily have a full set of quality publishable photos. Unlike more expensive point-and-shoots or DSLRs, this Powershot doesn't have camera raw or enough pixels to fill a wall, but the image quality and output is suitable for small posters, so who cares? Frankly, counting pixels and foaming over camera raw are not admirable traits, and neither of those things produces good pictures.

Image noise seems to be a bit improved since the A480s and A490s came out, especially when shooting in lower light. This camera has 12 versus 10 megapixels of its predecessors, so in theory you can get a larger photo now and still retain sharpness and detail. The controls will be familiar to anyone who has used a Canon point-and-shoot. I like the general layout of buttons compared to other brands, but that may be just because I'm more familiar with Canon. The A1200 has a viewfinder, which I'll never use because the thing is usually shooting photos right on the ground, and although I like the outdoors, I'm not sticking my face in the dirt and squinting through a viewfinder when I don't have to. The LCD screen is good enough. I've banged and tortured the daylights out of one A480 and killed another one after multiple assaults due to clumsiness. So far, this camera has taken a little knocking around without a complaint.

The A1200 shoots HD video, which isn't nearly as good as even an inexpensive video camera, but nonetheless I was surprised that the movies looked as good as they did. When shooting video, you'll get the best results if you stabilize the camera on a tripod, the back of a chair, a railing, or tree branch, depending on where you are. Video compression is a little cleaner that way, and you can avoid making people sick from zinging the camera around like a roller coaster.

Here are some tips for taking good close-up nature photos with this camera. I usually shoot with the dial in "P" mode. Most importantly, always remember to set the camera on "Macro" (the flower icon button). That allows it to focus as close as 1.5 inches away. Since the camera resets when you turn it off, Arggh!, you have to turn "Macro" on each time you restart it. On this camera, macro focus becomes dysfunctional if you zoom in, so keep it zoomed all the way out. Next, go into the menu and change the general settings. AF Frame should be "Center" so you can pick the point to focus on, AF Frame Size should be "Small" so it doesn't get confused as to where it should focus, and the Digital Zoom is garbage and should be banished forever. Unlike the "Macro" setting, these settings will NOT go away when you turn the camera off, fortunately. Since this is not an image-stabilized camera model, find some way to keep it still when shooting. When you're focused on a close-up subject, even a tiny movement is enough to blur your photo. To keep my camera still, I swear by a monopod with an adjustable pivoting head. Basically it's a one-legged tripod. A monopod can remove the worst of your hand jitters, and it doesn't even need to be extended to the ground -- just having your camera mounted to a stick helps stabilize your shot. Practice photographing coins or small subjects in your yard to get a feeling for macro photography. You'll notice that the area of sharpest focus is not as deep as it is when subjects are father away. You have to make deliberate choices on the point of sharpest focus. Check the photos on a computer if possible, so you can really see how well you're doing. And finally, shoot a million pictures. This is the digital age. You don't have to pay for dud prints any more. Be vicious when culling out the duds, because believe me, nobody wants to see 75 views of the same buttercup flower. - Powershot Canon - Powershot Canon A1200'

Easy to handle and leaves a nice finish. Has a tendency to double fire if you're not careful with the trigger. Loading the staples is kind of annoying. I have to break a full cartridge of Porter Cable staples and insert the two halves seprately in the chamber. Poor design. But good deal for the price. 1080p Lcd Hdtv - samsung lcd, 32 inch

I bought this TV after reading alot of reviews and a few visits to store to compare different 32" size TVs offered by Sony, Samsung, LG and Panasonic. This was among the best and top of the line Samsung 'LCD' 1080p HDTV model in 32 inch series. Finally I narrowed down my search to Sony's Bravia 32" KDL32EX400 and Samsung's LNC530 and LNC550.

All 3 HDTVs have a lot of things in common like 1080p res, 60Hz refresh rate, CCFL LCD Panel, HDMI/USB ports, Picture-in-Picture support etc, but there are also some diffs among these three. Samsung LNC550 stood out from the former (Sony KDL32EX400) in the following features.

--USB Media Player. The USB Media Player on Samsung is way ahead than any of its competitors. This things plays a wide variety of video/audio codecs (avi,mkv,mp4,H264,DivX, Xvid,MPEG1,MPEG2). You name it and they have it. It also supports the 5.1 audio (DTS Core, A52/AC3) and subtitle (.srt) files. Ofcourse, USB Media player functions faster and easily when u browse media using USB Hard Drive.

--DLNA 'All Share' Network Streaming. This is something really important for me in a TV since I have most of my media files on PC. The same USB Media Player in this TV also plays 'flawlessly' a number of audio/video (720p HD) streams directly from your PC. All you need is, connect your TV to your Wireless router (wired connection) and then share your media files via the home WiFi network. You can use either Samsung's PC Share Manager software or Windows 7 Media Player to share your PC media contents. (Both LNC530 and KDL32EX400 lack this)

--Supports an affordable Samsung LinkStick Wireless adapter which connects your TV to broadband router wirelessly.

--Connectivity Options (2 USB 2.0 ports, since more USB ports means you can connect more USB devices)

I knew I wanted a samsung HDTV because I have heard great things from friends who know more about technology than I do. I have not been disappointed in the least with my purchase. The tv has great sound and picture quality both in dark/dim lighting as well as in a sun drenched room. The tv is in a bedroom which it is a perfect size for. It was easy set up, I did it alone. The box does say to have two people work on it but definitely possible to do alone if no one is around and you are impatient. For set up you will need a Phillips head screw driver. The only downside which has nothing to do with the tv directly was that fedex left the package on my front stoop when I was not home and it comes in a factory box with a picture of the tv on the box, just something to be cautious of if you order this product.

The TV was great while it worked. However it went to "black" the first week and we called Samsung, who had us UPS the new TV to them for repair. I spent a lot of money on a TV to not be able to watch it! We did get the TV back from Samsung, and it now works fine. I am suspicious that it is a "refurbished" unit as the TV had a "R" behind the serial number when I bought it from Amazon and I could not take it to a local shop, but had to mail it back to Samsung. At any rate I am happy with it as it is now.

This was my first adventure into HDTV and LCD TV's, but I'm a technology buff, so advanced tech doesn't scare me (I actually enjoy it). My first impressions with this TV were the great resolution while watching Blu-ray movies (what I really think these screens are good for) and that the comments about HD shows and their "flawed" personalities was right on (ha!) I've connected the TV to a cable box and Sony Blue Ray player - so now I have three big remotes that all do different things. I'm considering a universal remote to solve this problem. I don't understand why the TV plays a tune when turning on and off and I can't find in the manual how to stop this from happening. The internet options look interesting, though I've only tried YouTube so far. YouTube videos play, but they look really poor because of the compression put on them and they don't have the same controls that are available on the web site. Standard cable TV doesn't look very good either because of the quality of the signal. Those old channels were much clearer on my old "tube" TV than with this new one. I mostly stay in the HD channels because of it. Most of these complaints have nothing to do with the Samsung TV and that's why I gave it 5 stars anyway. I just want any new HDTV folks to not be surprised by the quality of standard programming.

I am nothing but pleased with this TV. It's sharp, clear, bright, and really good looking to boot.

I have it hooked up to a Mac Mini and setup and connection between the two was very easy.

This TV was listed locally for $650. The Amazon.com sale price ($499) could not be beat at the time.

Gps Power Cable - garmin nuvi 350-360 dc charger, chargers

This is th exact same 12V power cord that ships with many Garmin Nuvi models. Useful as a spare, or to keep in a second vehicle. It costs a few dollars more than other manufacturer's after-market styles, but knowing it is well made and will hold-up over repeated moving in and out of multiple vehicles seems like it is worth the investment. Some of the other cords sold here on Amazon that claim to be for the 1490's do NOT work but this cord works perfectly with my NUVI 1490-LMT. I believe this is the oem NON-TRAFFIC cord for this family of Garmins - says Garmin on the side even. The car cord with "lifetime traffic updates" that I paid extra for is thick and unwieldy and, since most areas DO NOT HAVE traffic updates, is also completely useless. This cord is lot more convenient.

This is a nice item for the price.Makes a great back up power cable.

I found this not really necessary.i bought it because of some rather picky

reviewers saying the cable that came with the 1490 LMT was bulky.It was not bulky in my Silverado Pickup.Not sorry I bought it but was not necessary.

We began having a hard time getting our Garmin adapter to work, it took several tries to find the right spot to get the connection. I ordered this item, it came very quickly, and it worked on the first try, no more rotating the plug for the magic spot. This is much better than the cord that came with the Garmin.

I bougt this as a backup in the even that I loose or forget my power adapter that came with my Garmin 1490LMT (although I'd be out $100+ for the traffic receiver of the stock power adapter!). It is a genuine Garmin product and works exactly as it should: allowing me to use the GPS while powering the unit simultaneously. The right-angle USB connector is perfect for the rear-facing port on the 1490 unit.
