The Step - fitness, the step

To the reviewer who said you can make something like this for $20 or less, well, clearly they don't do step aerobics. This step is designed to absorb a lot of the shock of the moves, making it safer on your joints than wood. There is a nonskid mat on top. It is also sturdy and rated for up to 300 pounds. The step can be used for cardio or double as a weight bench. Additional risers can be purchased to build it up higher. Yes, it is expensive, but so very much worth it for the design and technology that went into making this safe for any level exerciser. I have been using my step for 10 years, and it's still going strong. It's made to last! The Step F1011W Original Health Club Step

This is the exact same size and type of original health club Step as used by Cathe and other instructors in the majority of thier home workout dvds! I had the home-size Step first and didn't like how unstable it was due to the smaller size, so I purchased this one from Amazon. It is more stable and safe to use if directions for use are followed correctly. Hard sturdy plastic with rubber traction, came with 4 risers. Besides stepping, its great to use for a weight bench. Amazon shipped it fast too!

This step is a quality piece of equiptment. It is sturdy and strong and can manage a large amount of weight. Also, when you are doing aerobic moves on it, it does not topple over and come apart like other steps that I have used. It also stores easily under a bed or in a closet and thus, does not clutter up your space. In addition to all of this, it is easy on the eyes as it is black and grey in colour.

I truly like this platform. I owned a Rebok Step platform for years that I thought highly of but I gave it to a friend and bought The Firm Fanny Lifter (the blue and purple one) to save space. While the Fanny Lifter was great (and is - I still use it for leg presses, lunges and other strength building exercises), it was not stable enough for the step workouts I like to do. I have some Cathe Friedrich and Christi Taylor workouts that you need to be able to do some travelling to get the most out of the routines. Also, it is more stable on my less than level 100 year old wood floors than my Rebok platform was. I would recommend investing in this platform to anyone that will use it. If you are new to stepping, perhaps try a class a few times before spending the money or try the less expensive, shorter version. I have seen it for $20-$25 at discount chains. Personally, I have been step training for 20 years (I'm 41) at different impact levels and have no problems. For higher impact I train on the 6" level and lower impact on the 8". My 9 year old cocker spaniel also uses it to get on and off the bed.

I purchased the original "Step" for the size. Most sporting goods stores sell a cheaper in price but also smaller version of a step. A step truly kicks up your cardio a few notches and with this size, it's convenient for doubling as a weight bench.

Once caveat, and it's pretty big for me as an apartment dweller, it is loud!! The step is hollow and echos - when I do more cardio intense exercises (jumping jacks using the step), you can't hear anything else.

This step is exceptionally sturdy and easy to assemble. I was dubious at first because it doesn't require any clips or other connections. You just stack the base pieces and set the step panel on top. The pieces fit together so well and the built-in traction is so effective that when assembled the step feels totally stable. I use it on a polished wooden floor and it doesn't slide at all. Also, it's sturdy enough for heavier people.

The product is great and works as described. Most of my clients however want a higher step so I have to purchase 4 total more of the blocks. The item is sturdy and can easily handle a 200 lb body plus 50 lbs of dumbells in the hands without the slightest visibility of any stress on the equipment.

No step board, nor step deck will replace this original Club Step. It is stable, shock absorbent and anti slippery. What you find at your gym. It came with two risers. Amazon had the best price. I've seen it all over the web for $130.00

I love this step. It was worth every penny to me. I use it all the time for my advanced step workouts. I used to do the firm all the time, but have recently converted to Cathe workouts which use this step. I can't tell you how happy I am with this step. It is sturdy, stable, and the color is nice and neutral - compared to my other firm steps and the old version of this one. I know this step will last for a very long time and is definitely worth the investment.

I researched all my options for step benches and this had more to offer than the rest. The black & grey color of this version is a huge improvement over the cheaper multi-colored outdated version, I'd pay more for something that looks 100% better. I like the multi functional use as a weight bench. - The Step - Fitness - Exercise - Step Platform'

Finish Nails - finish nails

These nails work perfectly with my DeWalt D51275K 15 gauge angled finish nailer, and the size/shape of the reuseable plastic case they come in is handy for holding extra nails in the tool belt or even your back pocket.

Not mentioned in the Amazon description is the following included with the nails: "Fits SENCO SFN1, SFN30, SFN40; AccuSet A250FN; Craftsman 18432, 18442; DeWalt D51275K; Porter-Cable DA250A." There are 700 nails in the pack. The DeWalt can be finickey about nails, and it definitely likes these.

I purchased my nailer from Amazon, and at the time they were offering $25 off purchases over $199. To hit that number, the only thing I could think of was to get a variety of nails, so I added these AccuSet 1-1/2" nails, along with a pack of 2" nails and a pack of 2-1/2" nails to the shopping cart. So I got variety of nail sizes that work good with my nailer practically for free. Can't beat that. Senco A301500 15-Gauge by 1-1/2-Inch Electro Galvanized Finish Nails

Somebody entered this product into the Amazon database incorrectly. I ordered the product and when it arrived it was the Bright Common, not Electro Galvanized. Luckily Amazon returns are very easy. However they have STILL not fixed this glaring issue in their system.

I ordered 3 different size Senco nails from Amazon for my finish nail gun, 1-1/2", 1-3/4" and 2-1/2" all were advertized as electro galvanized. Of what I ordered only the 2-1/2" arrived as ordered. The 1-1/2" showed up bright, not galvanized. The box marked 1-3/4" showed up with 1-1/2" long bright (non-galvanized) nails inside. I will keep the less expensive bright and wrong size nails because I hate the hassle and I don't have the time to try and make it right. I've purchased many things from Amazon and this is the first time I've had a problem. I will not be buying nails from Amazon again. I will pay a little more at the local big box store and get what I pay for. - Finish Nails'

Bedroom Alarm Clock - sony alarm clock radio, alarm clock

I bought two of these, (one for my husband and one for my teenage son), since they would automatically reset themselves after a power outage. They both immediately complained that the alarms were not loud enough, (both are VERY heavy sleepers). It does have a very light and polite beep with no volume control. However, the beeps gradually increase in frequency and after week of use, both of them are waking up easily to the sound and without the jarring blasts from our old alarms.

So, it may require getting accustomed to for heavy sleepers, but it's great for those of us who don't like to be blasted awake every day. Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (White)

When our old alarm went out I had to find a new alarm quickly. When I found the Sony ICF-C318, I was just happy to discover it had no external antennae to deal with. What a bonus to find that not only was it small and inexpensive, but had no funky extra wires. It has two alarms & the time and date are automatically set! All I did is plug it in. The date was automatically correct. And if there's a power surge or power outage, it has a battery back-up (battery is included and already installed) and it loses no time. We didn't believe that, of course, and had to play with it by unplugging it a few times to test it, but it worked great! We didn't even have to re-set the time zone. Also, I usually had to re-set the alarm for my husband, but no longer. I set the A alarm for me and the B alarm for him and we are done. What I also found wonderful about this alarm was that when you set the alarm time, you can go backward or forward. Our old alarm could only go forward and it took forever; setting this alarm is a breeze. Amazing, truly.

Two alarm feature very easy to program. All functions work great. Battery backup and automatic time updates. I bought a more expensive Sony multi-alarm clock a few months ago and it works OK, but this clock is by far a better and less complicated unit.

This is a good clock radio for its size, and all the features are easy to use. If you are looking for quality sound, this is not the clock radio for you. The only problem we have with it is that the buttons to turn the alarms on are on the top of the radio and easily moved - so easy that our cats often turn on the alarms by walking across the top of the radio!

I wanted a simple clock radio to replace my simple Sony clock radio, which unfortunately got "fried" during a lightning storm. This model seemed like the logical substitute, and it does exactly what I want it to, with no complications. Even though I don't live in the US, it gives me accurate time after power outages (its internal battery works great) and everything is easy to set, with time controls that go up or down -- meaning that if you miss the time when setting it, there's no need to do the whole 24-hour rotation again. Brightness can be controled so that this clock never wakes you up unless it is supposed to. I've had no problems with the alarm volume or any other aspect of this product. It is a great bargain, with a low price and great quality.

I recently bought this to replace one that always lost the time if there was a power outage. Even new backup batteries did not help.

Pros: Small, nice radio reception, time is already set, keeps time in case of power outage

Cons: You have to re-activate the alarm daily after turning it off in the morning. Not a good thing!

Setting the alarm with the button on the side requires two hands.

Overall not a bad alarm clock though (if you remember to activate the alarm again :) ).

Don't be mislead: "automatic time set" doesn't mean that it uses the atomic clock to update the time. "Automatic time set" means they preset the time at the factory. The clock arrived with a time that differed seven minutes from the actual time (as displayed on an existing atomic clock), so you still need to set the clock and to periodically readjust the time.

The first clock I received came on each night at 4:59AM with beeps no matter the setting. Amazon immediately (next day)sent a replacement clock and a prepaid return mail tag for the defective unit(Quite easy to deal with them). The second unit did exactly the same thing. Amazon sent a second prepaid mailing tag and credited my account.

Besides the clock having some flaw, what bothers me is the "Auto Time Set" feature, the company advertises. I was under the impression "auto set" would set the time using the atomic clock bases in Boulder Colorado. Yes,it comes correctly preset from the factory, but if the time needs to be reset, you do so as you would any other clock; nothing "Auto" about it. The radio tuning is not digital and not easy to get precisely on a station; reminds me of the FM radios if 30 years ago. The display is OK; brightness settings are good. The dual alarm are fairly easy to use. The users manual is a bit complicated, but not really needed for most features. Not recommended until the flaw is fixed. - Sony Alarm Clock Radio - Bedroom Alarm Clock - Alarm Clock - Clock Radio'

Sun Tea Suntea Spigot - creative ware, drinkware

Purchased 4 and used them for an event for about 125 people. Used them outside on a very warm day. No leaks - worked great. I anticipated that the ice in the bottom bowl would not keeps the drinks cool enough to suit me - so I inserted tall vases in the container and filled this with ice and lemons. Filled with lemonade and tea just below the rim of the vase. Between the ice in the bottom and the ice inserted in the vases - the drinks were plenty cool throughout several hours. (and also were not watered down by indirectly introducing the ice).

Highly recommend this product. Creativeware 3-Gallon Unbreakable Beverage Dispenser

I have two of these and used them at an open house. Everyone loved them and wanted to know where I got them. They hold 3 gallons and was more than enought for the 100+ people at the open house. They are easy to put together and clean. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who entertains.

This is the ONLY water dispenser we have purchased in the past month that does not leak - we have bought from another vendor on Amazon - which was BAD - and they still have not replyed to us (Web Infusions - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!)... have also bought one from Costo, and Wisteria - that leaked - you are the ONLY dispenser we will order again .. Bravo to Target!

We used these for my son's 1st b-day party. I purchased it because they did not look like the normal square beverage dispenser and because they had no writing of "lemonade" or anything on them.

It is beautiful and looks expensive. The concept of putting the ice in a separate container at the bottom is genious- keeps the drinks very cold without watering it down. We had drinks out for about 4 hours +.

My suggestion is that you put a very tiny drip plate under the spout just "in case" it starts to drip.

It beautifully displayed my lemonade and iced tea. I know it will look wonderful with any color drink that is in it.

Everyone asked me where I purchased them from. It was a hit.

We frequently have friends come over and the ability to have beverages within easy reach for adults and kids alike is very nice.

I own 2 of these. If you entertain people like we do 10 to 20 at a time, this dispenser will save you a lot of time and hassle.

Thew only thing I would warn about is ensuring that you get the gasket around the dispensing spout put on correctly or you can have a little leakage problem.

I look forward to purchasing the third beverage dispenser.

In the picture they look clear. But they are like a cheap flimsly milk-white not clear plastic..kind of pliable. We had gotten the same "design" from Sams Club and though they look identical they are very different material. We have been trying to reach the company for days to return. They don't return calls and they are not available during the hours they say they are open. Do not order from this company.

I bought this item to serve our family iced tea during my daughter's baptism party. Everything was going great until an hour into the party when the dispenser started to leak. Thankfully I had something big enough to put under it to prevent it from continuing to drip all over my kitchen floor. I would not recommend this item based on the fact that it leaks. - Ice Tea - Lemonade - Creative Ware - Drinkware'

Side-cutting - side-cutting pliers, klein tools

Talk to an electrician and you will often find that they are partial to a particular brand of lineman's pliers. Some swear by Klein, others by Channellock or Knipex etc. I am not a professional electrician but have rewired my entire house, performed work on several others and wired an addition. I have also done a fair amount of electrical work under an electrician for various jobs. My first set of pliers I lost, so when I needed a new one I decided to use the same brand I had before but figured I'd try the journeyman 2000 series with the enhanced grips this time. They are comfortable and cut wire nicely. I almost never use them to cut anything but copper wire. Sure I have cut a few nails on occasion but I have a different tool for that and prefer to use my lineman's only for copper so that they will last and last. I can't really say if Channellock or Knipex make better lineman's or not but they are also quality brands so it might just be up to personal preference. I don't think you can go too wrong with any of those brands. What I can tell you however is that I personally have been pleased with Klein pliers in the past and these appear to be no different. Klein J2000-9NE 9-Inch Journeyman High-Leverage Side-Cutting Pliers-Heavy-Duty Cutting

These pliers are excellent. I love this tool I must say. These are heavy duty and I really didn't want to pay as much as I had, but I needed a new pair and I like the colors. These are great pliers good for any electrician and overall these seem like they will last me a long while and it is well worth the cost. - Side-cutting - Klein Tools - Pliers - Side-cutting Pliers'

Atlanta Braves

Shirt was great, in bright colors (I especially like the Tomahawk chop) but I will have to wear my Yankee's shirt here during the playoffs as everyone reminds me they are sitting this one out. I am a true fan and will wear it throughout the year even in the face of Phillie fans reminding me of the sweeps this year (I remember May though! when the Braves won the series). Painting Tools - carpet runner, painting tools

We first saw this product used by a moving company. They put it down to keep our carpeted stairway clean during our move. When we decided to paint up our stairway, we needed something to protect the carpet. This worked great. We also used it to protect carpeting in my son's house while he was painting several rooms. He commented on how easy it was to use and how well it worked. We could even move the film from one area to another. It works much better than plastic drop cloths! I highly recommend this! KleenKover Carpet Film Temporary Carpet Protection 24" X 200' Reverse Wind

This was a lifesaver on our recent move. It snowed the day before our move and there was all sorts of muck and dirt on the ground. This protected our new carpet from getting ruined. It is a bit tricky to get down...it is definitely a two person job. Once down, it isn't going anywhere. Worth every penny!

I had a problem with one of the rolls I have ordered. I was contacted back the same day. I was impressed with the service of this company. I feel bad leaving a bad review for the product because they customer service person (Renee) was so fast on trying to get this issue fixed. The first roll I got was a five star product. The second roll seemed to have issues, which they are fixing right away. I am sure, the next roll I get will be perfect. I would order from AAA again!

First of all, I'm disabled so many jobs are hard for me, but having said that, I think you really need 2 people to put this on correctly so it doesn't get all tangled up. You really have to give it a PULL to get it off the roll. With one person, if you do that, it releases the part already "tacked" down from the carpet and you have a mess. It does keep the carpet clean, once you get it down. - Carpet Runner - Painting Tools'
