Cell Phone Case - otterbox, hard case

I bought this really because the belt clip case system looked pretty good. To start with that, the clip case interface wasn't quite as good as I expected. I prefer clips to be 2 1/4 in. This was only 2 in. Bolstering the phone was a little bit difficult, especially just by feel. I do really like the swivle. I can angle it any way I want.

The case itself is very protective, but overkill. On the face of the case, the edge extends too high along side of the screen. This makes typing and touching the edge of the screen very hard to impossible. I don't think the case needed to be this thick to offer protection.

In the end I returned my case because it was too bulky and restrictive.

Buy it if your on SWAT/military or if youre gonna drop it from high places.

Don't buy it if your not that hard on your phone. You can get lower profile cases that still protect, but offer more accessibility. OtterBox Defender Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black) (Bulk Packaged)

This box is the most robust box I have seen. It has the newer version of the clip..... My other defender box had the older case and the phone kept falling out!! No complaints here though, I emailed otterbox and within a few days a new clip arrived :-)

The price of $19 is excellent. It isn't the best looking case I have seen but that's not why I chose the case it will keep my phone in one piece ... Full stop!

This case encloses your iphone 3GS in a inner shell that has a screen protector built in. Then the shell is inserted in a

rubberized skin. I dropped my phone a few times at work, and it absorbed the shock with no problems. Phone works great. To some my phone in the case looks a bit clunky, but I rather have the protection. This is a must have if you work in a rough environment. better to have your phone look like a tank then a cracked screen.

No problems listening to the ipod, or making phone calls, the screen is still sensitive with the screen protector.

Hi,

Seller called me and asked me to remove the comment from amazon.com and he would ship a new product. I never got the replacement and I asked for refund for which they said yes and I never got the refund. Will not do business with this seller.

I just got a new iPhone so I wanted to protect it. I heard the OtterBox was the way to go. I have since knocked the phone out of my holster several times and am extremely pleased to say the phone has survived and I love this case. I recommend it as a must buy. Oh, by the way. Once it fell from approximately 15 up.The plastic case has a small dent but the phone works perfectly. I'm pretty sure it would not have survived without this case. Bravo OtterBox! I bought one for my wife also!!!!

This product is almost perfect, with two exceptions...

(1) Your iPhone is not locked in sufficiently enough to prevent it from falling out of the carrier, especially if you rub against something, or you are getting out of your car. Mine has fallen out a few tines when I expected it to remain securely in the carrier, and (2) You cannot charge the iPhone while it is in the carrier.

Those are the only two complaints I have on this product, otherwise it is excellent. It is the best carrier I have found so far.

The Defender is a great case for the I-phone, I work hard and my phone would take a serious beating if the Otter Box wasn't protecting it. That being said, the holster for the 3G otter box sucks, I already knew this before I bought it so when using this holster I keep a rubber band around my phone so as not to lose it. They improved the design for the I-Phone four . I recommend the Otter Box to protect anything it's designed to protect. My friend totaled his bike, he didn't come out so well but his I-phone did and the only damage to his Otter Box was the clip broke on the holster. They replaced it. Great product.

Amazon rocks, great price.

Awesome product to have to protect your expensive investment! Love the different layers to keep the phone enclosed and safe! This product only got 4 stars because the clip needs a better design and the thin screen layer that gies over the screen tends to stick to the screen itself making it look as if your phone is wet from the inside. Other than that great product and if mine ever to a turn for the worse I would definitely get another one!

I spent a lot of money on my phone and I wanted it protected. I work outside in various locations and my gear gets banged around a lot. I wanted a case that could hold up to the abuse that it would surely see. This otterbox has been an outstanding case. It provides excellent protection to my phone and allows easy manipulation of all the buttons along with easy access to the charge port. My co-workers had an immediate case of "case envy" and they all got one for their phones too. This is truely a great product! - Otterbox - Iphone 3g Case - Hard Case - Defender'

Trunki - sunny, kids luggage

I love this concept, and there are lots of good reviews so i purchased this Trunki for a recent trip. My 3yo son was thrilled. And, admittedly, it was fun and easy getting him through the airport - when the closure mechanism wasn't failing. For such a great overall product, how the closure mechanism could be so crappy is beyond me. The closure mechanism (the 'nose' in the picture) is a flimsy piece of plastic barely able to cover the lid plastic, and even if you do get it closed (a trick), if it is tapped the wrong way - poof, your suitcase is open. Huge product design failure. By the time they fix it, my son will be too big to ride on one, but I will keep an eye on them because without this flaw it would be Fantastic and a great gift for a traveling 2-4 year old. Melissa & Doug Trunki Sunny (Orange)

I brought the Trunki for my 4 year old and was skeptical about it after looking at all the reviews about the trunk popping open. I pulled the trigger and bought it anyway thinking if it didn't last the trip I would return it. When it came in the mail I looked over the instructions and was scared to see special instructions on replacing the latch after it pops off. Taking a closer look at them I found that there is a few steps that you need to take to ensure the case wouldn't open. I made sure both clips slid down and locked them before letting my 4 year old on. I also didn't over stuff it with toys and stuffed animals. It worked great I didn't have any problems with the case opening. (I should mention I did have the saddle on it, however I tested it with and with out the saddle and it didn't matter the case stayed shut. I would recommend using the saddle if you think it will pop open because it would be extra security)

That being said, she loved it. She used it as a seat when eating, played on it while we waited at the gate, and rode it while I pulled her through the airport. The case fits under the seat and the over head compartment easily. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it doesn't turn easily. My daughter would use her legs to help me turn it and working together it went smooth. You have to slid the front wheels little by little to get it turning. It sounds like a pain in the butt but I was walking around the airport at a fast speed not thinking about it and I was able to weave in and out of people with minimum effort. The Trunki rolls over all the bumps we cam in contact with at the airport. My daughter only fell off twice, one time she dropped her stuff animal and thought she could get it by leaning down and scooping it up and the other was my mistake taking a corner to fast and not paying attention.

All and all I give this product 5 stars, great for kids. I am expecting it to last until my 1 year old is old enough. For the price you can't expect to much but I would say it is worth every penny or maybe worth a little more.

This is an excellent suitcase. My 4 year old was very impressed that we had bought him a ride on toy and his older sister and brother were very jealous. I imagined it was just a funky looking suitcase and the wheels wouldn't be up to much but I was pleasantly surprised at the great build quality and the very rolly wheels. It makes an excellent yet practical present as children see it as toy while adults see it as a great suitcase which is a handy airline hand luggage size.

The catches, thickness of the plastic, handles and carry strap are all great. There is a locking mechanism at both ends which is turned by a plastic key so Trunki isn't going to fall open by accident. My four year old can easily move it by himself and absolutely loves it.

Highly recommended.

After reading the other reviews, my husband and I weren't sure if we should buy a Trunki or not. We were preparing for a trip to India and looking for items to help make it an easier trip for our 2-year old. We had our reservations after reading the reviews, but we went ahead and purchased it and I'm so glad we did.

Granted, I wouldn't try to check it in at an airport, and it isn't a super high end piece of luggage (it's only $30 after all!). The only thing I could think to improve it would be to change how it opens. In a way i twould be nice if the top opens up, instead of it fully opening. We ended up packing clothes in it for the flights home because it was easier to open other bags to get toys out. But all in all, the advantages far outweighed any negatives:

- Our son rode it, pushed it, and pulled it at the airport

- Provided fun time, as well as a great way to use up some of his energy during layovers

- Turned into a good toy while overseas, as well as a great way to store the toys we took for him

Overall, I would definitely recommend purchasing a Trunki for anyone that travels a lot with an active toddler!

This product is not durable... it falls apart easily... It was more of a hassle to have it because i ended up carrying it most of the time because my daughter of 3 didn't want to pull it anymore. It can easily break too... i don't know why don't they make them stronger since kids are using them.

Oh this was soooo disappointing! We had the original Trunki and used it for years and LOVED it! It worked great on our 5th trip using it just last week. We added a new Trunki to our collection for our youngest son and it was a mess. The handles are awful and very hard to use. They fall off and, yes, I can put them back on, but the original hinges worked so great... why did they change them?

And in the airport, one of the wheels popped off and would not go back on! This was such a disappointment and I've emailed the company. I was so surprised because Melissa and Doug is usually such a great company. WHY oh WHY did they change something that worked so great? :( I want my money back for sure...

Don't buy this one. Hunt down the original... - Kids Luggage - Sunny'

This Gnome has a freaking jet-pack! I have been looking and looking for a Garden Gnome that isn't so traditional feeling and this little wonder fits the bill perfectly. My only issue was to pick between the Rocket Pack Gnome or the Tiki Gnome and I am quite glad I picked the Rocket. Either way keep up the good work whoever is making these things! Thanks again. Jet-pack Garden Gnome 15"

Last week my husband bought the steam punk gnome from the same company, and when I saw this guy, I figured I had to get him too. It's worth mentioning that these are our first gnomes, we are not collectors. That said, both of the gnomes are incredibly fun and cool. They are however, not made to the same scale. This gnome is good several inches taller than the steam punk gnome, so they aren't really companion pieces. They are still very cute though, and I am glad to have both of them to guard the veggies.

When I received this gnome I was quite surprised at how much more impressive it was in person. I was doubly surprised at how inexpensive it was for the size and weight of the thing. He is very impressive no doubt -- perhaps soon I'll be purchasing some others to keep him company.

I just received this gnome and I am impressed. It is much heavier than I expected and is quite solid. It's so impressive that I'm actually nervous to display him in my yard as I'm afraid he'll be abducted by some mischievous kids. - Yard Decor'

Carpet Protection

I bought this carpet film to use in my RV to help protect the carpets while we are camping. With a large dog and two young children, there's an awful lot of dirt and debris that gets tracked in to the RV over the course of a weekend.

The film works well and the 36" width is a plus. I've had the 24" rolls in the past and it requires me to do two or three strips in some areas. The 36" just requires one main strip down the middle. It sticks to both carpet and linoleum flooring.

Getting the cover "started" and then unrolling it is a bit awkward, and I have yet to figure out a foolproof way to do it. I can't really blame the product for my own clumsiness.

Overall it works good as a temporary cover. It lasts for a couple of uses, and then there is plenty on the roll to just replace what is put down. It also is easy to clean with a swiffer-type mop. I do wish the plastic was a little thicker so it would last longer, but overall it's a good price and keeps the carpet underneath clean, and that's the goal here. KleenKover Carpet Film Temporary Carpet Protection 36" X 200' Reverse Wind

This product is exactly what we needed to keep new carpet clean while remodeling. Our tenant asked for new carpet, we put it in, he moved and trashed the place. The bath enclosure had to be resurfaced, the bath vanity, sink & faucet replaced, the kitchen counters replaced, a new sink, fridge, stove & d/w. We did all that work and the carpet was protected fully. It is sticky and a lot like sticky contact paper but a little easier to use. We did not have an applicator, just rolled it off the roll. Easy. The amazon pricing was very good, if you buy a tiny roll from a moving company or moving truck rental it ends up costing a lot more.'

Acer Netbook - windows 7, acer aspire one

October 2010 update:

The review is now woefully out of date.

Please look instead at the just-released Aspire Atom Dual Core Acer Aspire One AOD255-1549 10.1-Inch Netbook - Diamond Black which has a dual core instead of single core Atom processor. Same great battery life, but much better performance. It's slightly more expensive (at least during the introduction, expect prices to drop in 3 months) but should handle Hulu much better (less stuttering/higher resolution/bigger window size). Or if you don't mind a smaller Hulu window/lower resolution, the N450 single core version is an updated bargain - Acer Aspire One AOD255-2509 10.1-Inch Netbook - Diamond Black. For only $10 more, the "269" model has a much more useful 250 gb hard drive - Acer Aspire One AOD255-2691 10.1-Inch Netbook - Diamond Black. I recommend spending that extra $10 for the bigger hard drive. I store my music and video collection on my netbook, use it for travel, and quickly fill up the hard drive - 160 gb isn't enough for me anymore.

Also if video is your top priority, more than battery life, the recent Acers with the AMD Athlon II Neo chip and Radeon graphics are reportedly much, much better in terms of performande, but batter life drops to 3-4 hours (Acer may be winding this model down already precisely for this reason) - Acer Aspire AO521-3782 10.1-Inch Netbook (Antique Brass). I recommend searching for "netbook AMD Neo" to see what's available with this new generation AMD chip before you buy.

Please read any review of computers (especially in the rapidly evolving netbook market) more than 3 months old with a grain of salt. Also you owe it to yourself to investigate the Apple iPad, many potential netbook purchasers are buying them instead. A comparison of the two is beyond the scope of this product review, but you need to be aware of this alternative.

_________________________original review below, if you buy one used at a great price:

I deleted my first review which knocked this new netbook from Acer with a 3 Star review, for failing to accept a 2gb memory upgrade - I was told by Acer's overseas on-line warranty service this netbook couldn't even accept more than one 1gb.

When I posted my experience as the earlier, deleted review here, the Acer product manager from San Jose jumped into the discussion to affirm that this netbook IS designed to take customer installed 2gb upgrades, and that the warranty support line adviser was simply wrong. Since my particular unit wouldn't take memory modules that had already been proven to work in my other netbooks (including another N450-based netbook) it was concluded that my particular unit was defective. The Acer product manager reported that all of his production samples in San Jose accepted standard 2gb upgrades. One other reader later reported that his unit wouldn't take an upgrade either, also using known good memory pulled from another netbook. So basically it appears that there is a glitch in some, but not all, units that Acer is shipping. Based on my past experience with Acer (I've owned 5 or 6) and faith in Amazon's return policy, I would have no problem ordering this ao532h, with the caveat that if you intend to upgrade the memory, try doing it right away while your unit is still within the Amazon returns period. Please note that my sample ran fine with the included 1gb module from Acer, and that upgrading the BIOS per the warranty line instructions did not allow my sample to accept either of the two 2 gb replacement modules I had on hand.

So this review is to confirm that this netbook IS designed to accept a 2gb memory module upgrade, and to caution you to check your unit for compatibility. The 2gb memory module spec'd at Crucial dot com specifically for the ao532h is as follows:

Part #: CT1165194 * DDR2 PC2-5300 * CL=5 * Unbuffered * NON-ECC * DDR2-667 * 1.8V * 256Meg x 64 *

The crucial dot com price is about $6 higher than a similar spec'd module from Crucial which is shown by Amazon on this product page as a recommended accessory. Any generic DDR2, PC5300, SoDimm with 667 speed should work, but if you want to be cautious, make sure you get the exact same part number shown above (CT1165194) until Acer provides additional advice on this issue.

***************

So on to some more useful "user" comments about this netbook, based on my week and a half experience with it (using only the 1gb of memory it came with).

FIRST, this netbook is THIN and of course light. It may well be the thinnest one out there (although the Acer ao751h, now discontinued but still owned by me, was also quite thin). It certainly would earn that kudo if it came with a 3 cell battery like the ao751h, but then it wouldn't be getting 8 hours of battery life. Personally, I'd rather have the battery life even if the rear of the chassis is raised by maybe .25 inch.

Please note that similarly priced models from other manufacturers only come with 3 cell batteries.

Also note that some 6 cell batteries have longer battery life - at a slight increase in weight.

Since Acer netbook models only use two form factors for batteries (ao751h style or ao250 style) you should be able to pick up a 3 cell, 6 cell normal, or 6 cell high power accessory battery from Amazon later, should you desire a second battery.

SECOND, the power brick and cord for this netbook are SMALL and LIGHT. While the power brick itself is comparable in size to other makers, Acer has done something neat with the power cord runs - instead of having a super thick, 3 prong "toaster oven" size electrical cord to the actual power brick, followed by a thin, light second run to the netbook, they attached the plug directly to the power brick and just give you a longer run of the thinner, lighter cord coming off the brick to the netbook. YAY.

This means the whole brick assembly packs down smaller and lighter. Also, since the plug can now be safely set up as a two prong (instead of 3 prong) with no polarization, it will easily fit into plug outlets in Asia without an adaptor.

THIRD, the touchpad was the easiest yet for me to use. It wasn't hypersensitive (clicking accidentally when I meant to just move the cursor), and has raised dots to indicate the vertical scroll bar area on the touchpad, which worked really well. Some other touchpads let me scroll, but either require two fingers to scroll, or have an ambiguously defined right side area where I am supposed to scroll. The raised dots on the Acer let me find the scroll line and use it effectively.

Since I was forced to use only 1 gb on my defective unit, I got to see how well it performs, and was surprised by how well it works with even 10 browser tabs open at the same time. I still think 2gb is better, at least if you are going to try to run VLC with h.264 transcoded videos - on other netbooks I get stuttering with only 1gb. I didn't have a chance to try VLC on this model.

The only negative on this model is slight keyboard flex, which comes, I suspect, as a result of the thinness. It doesn't flex so much it feels like it is going to break, just feels a little rubbery. I have an HP Mini 210 that is more resistant, but not completely resistant, to flex, but it is also a lot fatter, so you will have to decide which you prefer. Oh I should also mention that the ao532h comes with the usual stunning, but glossy, Acer screen - if your preference is for a mat screen you will need to turn to some HP and Asus models. But iff you prefer glossy, you should love this screen.

JUDGMENT: If you carry the power brick around a lot, the redesign of the power cord alone is a big advantage of this model. If your budget is $300 and you can't live with the shorter battery life of 3 cell competitors, this is your best option. For about $40 more from other makers, you can get a more robust 6 cell battery and possibly a larger 250 gb hard drive. But this ao532h is definitely the one to beat if you are budget shopping.

A WORD ON PRICING AND ARCANE MICROSOFT & INTEL OEM REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft is loathe to charge small license fees on netbooks - the license fees are currently apparently much lower than on other laptops, a reflection of the small margins in netbooks - and Intel is loathe to sell millions of cheap Atom processors instead of more costly, and profitable chips. So the two have "conspired," to to speak, to limit the specs on netbooks if the manufacturers expect to get the lower licensing fees, and so far as I can tell that is why the new generation of netbooks are all appearing with only 1gb of factory installed memory and generally only 160 gb hard drives even though Acer's own eMachines 250, blown out at Walmart for only $228, came with a 250gb hard drive. 250 gb harddrives (but not 2gb factory memory upgrades) are available, but at a disparate increase in price considering the low OEM margin between 160 gb and 250 gb drives at this point - probably because (I suspect) in order to include a 250 gb harddrive, the license fee for Win7 also goes up.

The "benign" side of this "conspiracy" is that MS has apparently slashed Win7 Starter prices to the point where it is as cheap as, or cheaper than WinXP - which is why a lot of WinXP netbooks were announced for the N450 chip released in December 2009, but none seem to have actually made it to market.

A WORD ON WIN7 VS. WINXP: I like Win7, even Starter Edition, a lot more than WinXP - not for performance, but for its better interface. Reviewers claim that WinXP is still more efficient in terms of both performance and battery life, but I think the future life of WinXP is limited and that as MS releases updates and Service Packs for Win7, the battery life and slight performance penalty issues should be addressed - although I suspect the slight performance hit is related more to the extra goodies in Win7 than to any intrinsic superiority of code in WinXP (you can also revert to Windows Classic Theme in Win7 and turn off some services to save processing resources if you want to). Note that on benchmarks, Win7/Atom N450 setups have a slight performance edge on WinXP/N270 setups, so actually we seem to be making ever-so-slight performance gains in the rapidly growing netbook market. All in all, as much as I lust after every incremental increase in performance from these truly mouse-powered Atom netbooks, I would rather stick with Win7 than devolve to WinXP. And for those of you, like me, who are thinking about replacing their conventional hard drive in their netbook with a solid state (SSD) drive - Win7 has special features (TRIM) to optimize SSD performance - WinXP does not.

A WORD ON WIN7 STARTER: Win7 Starter works fine, although those MS won't let me change my screen color unless I revert to Windows Classic Theme (I like to run a black background to save a little power). There is not absurd limit on the number or programs you can run at one time under Win7, an early proposal gratefully abandoned. The only obvious "crippling" of Win7 Starter - other than that permanently green desktop color - is that it doesn't have the translucent Aero windows and other Aero desktop bells and whistles, features I would be disabling on a netbook anyway, for performance reasons.

A WORD ON LINUX VS. WIN7 STARTER: I tried installing dual boot Linux systems on my other netbooks, principally Ubuntu Netbook Remix which is supposed to be optimized for the Atom chip, but also Moblin and JolliCloud. Two observations: Linux is cool, but no faster than Win7 despite hints to the contrary (it is NOT a "lighter, faster" operating system); and hell hath no fury greater than a Linux dual boot install when you try to uninstall it. Guess what - there IS no uninstall option, and I trashed two hard disks trying clean out GRUB or whatever that parasitical dual boot manager is called. I finally had to order rescue disks on one netbook and use a really obscure, hellishly difficult to operate rescue tool just to access the netbook's rescue partition on the other. 5 hours down the drain in each case. And oh yeah, there is no iTunes for Linux, which pretty much kills the utility of Linux for 78% (just guessing) of the computing population. That having been said, Linux IS free, and is a lot better than it was in 2000, and I may even initially try it on the SSD I will install on one of my older netbooks, since that won't start life as a dual boot system. Then when I get frustrated again I will just install Windows over it. :-) I have gotten good at that! Screen Protector - 50d, lcd protector

Yes, I'm one of the many people faced with the decision; should I put one of these econo-priced things on my expensive camera? I have a Canon 50D which I truely adore, and it has a fairly big LCD screen that is vulnerable to scratching and almost constant smearing. That always bothered me, having to worry about it constantly. I like to cradle my camera and lens like a newborn baby, and I figured I didn't have much to lose by trying this GGS protector. So I ordered it and recieved it in just five days with basic shipping. I was scared witless, just thinking about getting this protector on straight. But then again, what was the worst that could happen? I'd be out 15 bucks? I cleaned the LCD with a lens cleaner, then isopropal alcohol. Then I gently wiped it with a microfiber cloth to remove any streaks. Following the instructions, I removed the backing from the back/adhesive side, placed the camera lens down in a "hole" between separators in my camera bag so the LCD faced straight up. Then I lined-up the righthand edge of the protector with the LCD and took the plunge. I nailed it almost perfectly, better than I thought I would. I pressed on the edges to secure it to the camera, then peeled off the outside film from the protector. Viola! It is done and is virtually invisible to the untrained eye. And I could not be happier with it. Now when my camera happens to bump against my jacket zipper or buttons, I just smile, I know the LCD is protected very well. And there is no noticable difference in clarity now. I HIGHLY recommend this item to every photographer who values their equipment. GGS DSLR LCD Optical Glass Screen Protector for Canon EOS 50D 5D Mark II Digital SLR Cameras

When I got the camera I knew I needed to put some protection on the LCD screen to keep it in good condition. My last Digital LCD screen actually developed problems from constantly banging on my chest. This time I would start out from the beginning with protection.

So I bought the soft adhesive type and it did protect the screen from scratches and so on. But it looked ratty and cheap. The fact of the matter was that it was ratty and cheap. That's OK, it protects the LCD and they're a dime a dozen.

But then I started thinking about the image this was projecting to my clients when we'd chimp a shot (yeah, I know...) There were actually some comments about why I'd have that nasty thing on there. Nikon D90 guys have nice snap-on plastic protectors that run about $30, but at least they're nice looking. What's a Canon owner to do?

Enter this product. It simply sticks on and is a perfect fit. Perfect. It doesn't even look like there's anything there! Very nice.

I am a convert. If you want a professional looking protective cover for your DSLR LCD screen, look no further - this is it!

More later when it's rubbed up against my chest for a few months...

I bought one of these for my Canon 50D and another version for my girlfriend's Canon Digital Rebel T1i (500D). They are great. You will see a little more reflection with this on your camera than you would without, but saving your LCD from a costly repair is more than worth it. I reviewed it on my personal site, which Amazon won't let you link to in a review, so view my profile and you'll see my website link there.

This product is infinitely better than a film stick-on, but with only 90% light transmission, I find I'm losing detail on my LCD. I have a 5DII and L-quality lenses. I replaced the GGS protector with a $24.95 8-series Giottos. The Giottos has 12-layers, with 98% light transmission. Believe me, I'm not rich, and I'll take a good deal anytime; but if you use the LCD for judging focus, the Giottos is well worth the extra cost.

I've owned 5 different kinds of screen protectors for 4 other screens. The reason I've owned 5 is they all protected the screen and made their presence known [in a bad way]. One installed so poorly I took it back off. This is the only one I've used that doesn't seem to be there at all. It was the easiest to install, giving me a short window of time to realign just so [I got it close, not perfect to start] It's perfectly aligned and the exact right size. It works much better than other brands that cost 4x as much. I think I've found a brand to stick with. Not a cheap piece of plastic. It fits my Canon 5D Mark2 although the label doesn't say so [the advertising does].

This is a great product. I bought one 2 1/2 years ago for my first camera body and it's still there. I have had no problems with the adhesive and I clean it often with a lens cloth. This is a small amount of money to pay when you conider the cost of your camera body, and not being plastic film, which I have on my cell phone and dislike immensely, I see it lasting for a long, long, time.

I purchased this screen protector from Amazon a few months ago, but it went on easy and seems to be very durable and clear on my Canon 5d mark II. I don't have any experience with other screen protectors so I can't give any comparisons, but I would buy this again. - Lcd Protector - 50d'

Kitchen Gadgets - kitchen gadgets

This serrated knife is very sharp. The cutting guide is excellent for slicing bread evenly, meats, cheeses, even cutting fruit like tomatoes. The guide and adjustment knob make it take up more room in your drawer than usual, but this useful tool will more than replace the knives you have to store in other places. Deli-Pro Slicing Knife

I bought this knife specifically to cut my fresh homemade bread. Got tired of the uneven slices of hand cutting it with a knife that squashes it anyway.

This worked perfectly! Got the even slices I wanted, and no squashed bread.

We've also used it on other things, such as slicing ham, carving turkey....has worked wonderfully each time.

The dial to adjust the width of the slice is easy to use. Just be careful not to loosen too much or it just comes off. You can easily reattach it, but just beware so you don't lose the screw or something when doing it.

Works perfectly for what I bought it for.

This knife is so handy. It cuts everything from bread to ham with nice even cuts. It took me a couple times to adjust myself to this knife, as I needed to angle my cutting a little different than I usually do. But I can't rave enough as to how easy it is to use in lieu of dragging out my meat slicer. I'd order more, but you only need one. It does it all.

I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me to research the MAJOR flaw of this particular item and now I feel like a fool with a useless knife. I'm left handed. I run into this problem with so many items, but this one managed to slip by me. I'm sure this knife works great for some, but not for me.

Received this knife in perfect condition. This knife works great for slicing homemade bread. I get perfect slices every time. Really like the adjustable thickness feature; very easy to adjust. Excellent product, excellent price! Buy it...

It works just like on TV. I have seen bread slicing guides on AMAZON.COM [...]and most customers have complaints with them. This knife slices bread, tomatoes, ect. perfectly. For the price you just can't beat it.

I've used this knife just once but already feel good about it. Used it to slice tomatoes and onions and haven't cut the most evenly slices ever. So much so that I've ordered one for my mom and mom- in- law :)
