Leather Backpack Purse - blackpack bag, leather handbag

The sewing was crappy and the strap came right out. I was also able to pierce the so called leather with my nail when I went to pick it up off the table. Now there is a huge whole in the side. I got my money back, less the shipping, but it was the worst buy I have found on here. There is nothing geuine about this so called leather! Maxam®Italian MosaicTM Design Genuine Lambskin Leather Backpack/Purse

From the picture, this looked like solid pieces of leather. It is actually small pieces of leather sewn together, which looks cheap. The strap is thin. The nylon inside is not durable and was torn when I received the purse, so that items could fall through the hole and get caught between the lining and the leather. The front pockets, with the zippers going all around the pockets, are not well designed to hold anything.

Like the product a little small and dn place to hold money for easy access or credit card holder. Has a small zipper compartment inside. Other then that I think it find. Can't hold much becausse of size.

This was a very well made item, and good leather. It was smaller than I needed though. I'm giving it to my daughter-in-law who will love it to manage with the two twins to hold onto. It will be the perfect size for her I believe.

It is of good quality; the leather is real. The price was very cheap so I was wondering what I would get. When I opened the package I actually laughed. Shame on me for not looking into the dimensions when I ordered it!! It's like a little girl's purse, the size of a Hello Kitty or something. I mean, if you want a little backpack for just a few items, it's great, but for me, I was looking for something roomier. NO fault of the seller, mine for not checking size. I will be giving it to a young lady for school; but her notebooks won't fit (lol). - Blackpack Bag - Leather Backpack - Leather Handbag - Leather Backpack Purse'

Canon 5d Mark Ii - 5d mark ii, canon

In addition to the one that came with the 5D Mark II, I also bought a separate one to fill the second bay in the BG-E6 Vertical Grip.

My initial experience with the battery was less than stellar -- if you are currently disappointed with the battery capacity (especially if it's new), hear me out.

After the first charge out of the box, the single battery lasted about a day with maybe 100 RAW shots and a couple of minutes worth of 1080p video. VERY disappointing to say the least. But here's the thing -- it really needs to go through a couple of full cycles (full discharge, full charge) before it reaches its peak capability.

At the time of my last charge, I had shot well over 2700 RAW frames on two batteries -- and both of those batteries each reported 60% charge remaining at that point.

Which brings me to the reporting features. If you are buying this as a second battery, then you are probably already aware of this, but the battery will report its charge level (with a 1% resolution), battery recharge performance, and number of shutter actuations since last charge. The 5D Mark II can then display this information on its Battery Info screen.

With two LP-E6's installed (via the BG-E6 Vertical Grip), the 5D Mark II will register both of the batteries and list their statistics simultaneously in the Battery Info screen. The Shutter Count numbers even operate independently. For example, after a long day of shooting (over 1500 frames), the Battery Info screen told me that Battery 1 was responsible for 806 frames, while Battery 2 was responsible for 746 frames. At this point, the batteries still showed a 78% charge on each one.

Also notable is the fact that the number of shutter actuations for each battery does NOT reset when the battery is removed. Its actuation count is saved, and if you later reinsert the battery (without charging it), the count will still be accurate for that battery. Once you charge the battery, the count is reset.

Finally, as a word of warning: At the time of this review (Jan 20, 2009), the battery prices are ridiculous. Because of high demand, apparently some sellers feel justified in gouging their customers. The current price listed as of this writing is nearly US$200. I bought my second battery before demand went through the roof, and I paid less than US$90 from a reputable Canon dealer. Keep that in mind when deciding where to purchase. Canon LP-E6 Battery Pack for Select Canon Digital SLR Cameras (Retail Package)

Please be aware that the Marketplace seller from whom I purchased this battery sold me a counterfeit battery. This battery is frequently counterfeited and Amazon.com does nothing to stop the practice. This reseller is crooked, and uses a large number of different aliases to rip-off unsuspecting consumers. It is sad to see that Amazon.com is complicit in this criminal behavior.

If you don't believe me, search the internet for the address that the seller is using: 3522 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Interestingly enough, another camera business by the name of Fumfie also sold/sells camera equipment from the same Brooklyn storefront. Fumfie has a Better Business Bureau rating of 'F'.

Here is what other customers of Fumfie have had to say about this seller:

"This is NOT a reputable seller."

upon receiving my camera today i saw it to be a "Grey market camera" i called Nikon and they didn't even have a record of this camera. i then called and spoke with a gentleman from fumfi company that proceeded to blow a gust of wind up my ass the size of Dorthy's tornado... "

"'TOTAL CROOKS' AND WILL NOT ANSWER MY E-MAILS.my next step is to get the law involved.."

"In the end, it turns out that Fumfie is attempting to do what all the other scamming camera shops do: sell you overpriced accessories and force shipping insurance on you in order to make up for the advertised cheaper camera body."

Sunset Electronics also uses the same phone number as thefotosource.com, jerseyphotostore.com and Louscamera.com. Care to guess why a small store uses so many different aliases? Well, let's see what people have to say about jerseyphotostore.com:

"Seems like fraud company, people read the reviews before jumping into it."

"canon hf s200 is shown 689 in the site, but i was charged 762. Avoid these buggers like plague."

And on and on and on. These people are criminals. Do not buy from them.

The RATING is for the PRODUCT.

The RATING is for the PRODUCT.

The RATING is for the PRODUCT.

Why do you give the battery 1 star because third party sellers overcharge??? The battery happens to be EXCELLENT (hence, the 5 stars), but the ratings don't show it because we all have to whine and complain about other stores' prices. Incredible.

OK, revelation for the day: YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT HERE. WOW! What a concept! I would think that was obvious.

If you are really, really frustrated by third-party stores overcharging (or Amazon for that fact), email Amazon and tell them. I have for other things and they respond very quickly. Let's channel the right info where it belongs.

Great Battery.. keeps a good long charge when shooting pictures or video. I'm a wedding videographer and we recently switched from Shooting from Canon's A1's to shooting all 5D Video. Might sound crazy but its awesome! I can usually shoot video all day with only two of these battery's with no need to recharge. Every once in a while I'll need to use the recharged one, but usually I'm good with just two cycles.

Oh.. and there are a lot of bad reviews on these batteries because Amazon used to charge a way to much for these batteries, but the price has come down now and they are a great deal!

My bad!!! At first I did not believed those who rated 1 star with this product that it's a counterfeit battery. Too bad and too late (maybe not if they will accept the return). This is NOT A GENUINE Canon Battery, please be aware! - Canon - 7d - Lp-e6 - 5d Mark Ii'

Dont Do It

What a great show from Nickelodeon this was, from Nick's own golden era of shows like Doug, Rocko's Modern Life and Pete & Pete among others comes another long awaited gem of a show. The cartoon debuted in 1994 and lasted 4 seasons containing 52 episodes in total.

The premise is the young monsters are in school learning how to scare humans, many times through out the show they venture up from under the dump where they go to school to visit humans and scare them. Lots of hi-jinks and personality can be found in these monsters, fun for all ages! There were many monsters with zany characteristics but the 3 main ones most would remember are Ickis who is located on bottom right of the dvd package art, he could grow large to scare humans, then you had Krumm on the left bottom who carried his eyeballs in his hands or even in his mouth at times and his specialty was using his foul armpit stench to scare which was quite comical. Then we have Oblina a female monster who could pull out her internal organs, transform herself and was one of the best students in the school. They sure don't make many cartoons like this nowdays!

Season 1 (1994 Original air date)

1."The Switching Hour"

2."Monsters, Get Real" & "Snorched If You Do, Snorched If You Don't"

3."Curse Of The Krumm" & "Krumm Goes Hollywood"

4."Monstrous Make-Over" & "A Wing And A Scare"

5."Krumm's Pimple" & "Monster Hunter"

6."Monsters Don't Dance" & "Gone Shopp'n"

7."Old Monster" & "Mother, May I?"

8."Don't Just Do It" & "Joined At The Hip"

9."Smile And Say Oblina" & "The Great Wave"

10."Cold Hard Toenails" & "Attack Of The Blobs"

11."Chip Off The Old Beast" & "The War's Over"

12."Where Have All The Monsters Gone?"

13."Simon Strikes Back" & "The Ickis Box"

The cartoon rocks, pick it up if you enjoyed the Pixar Monster's Inc movie.

Pros: We finally get to see Aaaah! Real Monsters on DVD and get a full season set and on proper DVD-9s discs and not those MOD burned style discs.

The price is much better then the Amazon Burn on Demand sets were,

Cons: No extras to be heard of. If like Rocko's Modern Life I expect static menu screens and a less than remastered looking picture and I am not sure yet but will these be un-cut episodes?

*****5 Stars for the show ****4 stars for this dvd AAAHH!!! Real Monsters

this is one of my favorite shows growing up. I am so happy they have finally put it on dvd. But i hope this isnt one of those dvds where they only release one season and not the rest like they did to "Malcolm in the Middle" and "King of the Hill". I hope they continue to release the dvds for this show and all the other classic '90s nick shows.

I just got my copy and let me tell you it brings back so many good memories of my childhood. The picture quality is pretty good it has all the first seasons episodes on 2 disks the intro is great hey if your a 90s Nickelodeon fan dont miss out this is one of the best and underrated cartoons ever.

It Released in October 4! :), Kind of lovable from old school nickelodeon, they tried the new nickelodeon acess the old school shows in DVD! When monsters scare guys from halloween -- Ickis, Oblina & Krumm, the trio meets the villan -- Simon, the monster hunter, can they keep the secrets of the monsters safe while on their crazy adventures?'

Memory Cards - 16gb sdhc memory card, 16gb

According to the manufacturers of this card on their own forums, this does not work properly in Android or Windows phones. I guess it is a problem with the way this card is partitioned or formatted. Symptoms of the problem are regular freezing of the phone you put it in (requiring a battery pull to reset) and the card eventually becoming corrupted (losing all the data that is on it and requiring a reformat). On the official acknowledgement of the problems posted to their forums they give no indication of what we are supposed to do with these cards that don't work. It might be possible to repartition and reformat this card yourself to get it to work but I haven't been successful at that yet.

I'm not sure how a card that fails in the vast majority of devices you would use it in gets released and hasn't been recalled yet. It is too bad as Partiot is usually a decent manufacturer. I have contacted support asking them what I am supposed to do with my defective cards but have yet to get a response. I don't want to return them because these will be great cards when the problems get sorted out (they are very fast), but right now they are worse than useless as they make any device I put them in unstable and corrupt any data I put on them.

I definitely can't recommend this card right now unless you don't plan to use it in a phone or tablet (which is about the only reason I can think of to buy a microsdhc card).

Update: Patriot support was not able to help me but they said they were willing to RMA in exchange for a class 4 (which will hopefully work). Sure I paid for a class 10 and a class 4 would have been cheaper in the first place, but I just want something that works at this point so I am willing to swap for something slower if it fixes the problem. Patriot Signature 16 GB Class 10 MicroSDHC Flash Memory Card PSF16GMCSDHC10

I was a bit skeptical when getting this card, because it is priced significantly less than other 16GB Class 10 cards on the market, but since it's a new product and it's for my phone, I was willing to take a bit of a gamble after seeing a couple of other positive reviews around the web.

I'm glad I did! This card performs great and gives me plenty of storage space. I ran one of the many available free benchmarking tools on it (you can find plenty on Google) and it wrote to all of the storage space to verify there were no problems with the card. It clocked the write speed at 11.6MB/sec, and the read at 17.5MB/sec, so the speed claim by Patriot holds up. I popped the card into my HTC Evo phone and it was great seeing how much faster applications stored on the SD card were loading up.

Note: I ended up buying the card on Newegg because it was quite a bit cheaper there than Amazon's current price, also with free shipping. However it looks like Amazon has accordingly dropped the price, so I recommend comparing the two before buying.

This card is super fast. My speed test on my HTC Evo 4g write =11mb/s and read= 15mb/s... I am very happy with my purchase. My old card was by sandisk 32gb class 2 and my speeds were write 8mb/s and read 1.75mb/s....great improvement!!!!

Side note I bought from NatechGadgets and my ordered was delivered 20 hours after I ordered it.

My best purchase this year!!!!!

I bought this for the same reason many people are picking it up...to boot OSes on the Nook Color. Sadly, it is incompatible with the NC's card reader. It works for some things, but not for all and data gets corrupted easily. I tried it in a Motorola Droid X with the same result. It's just not stable or reliable.

Not much to tell. I needed lots of space for my phone and this is it. Registers as 30.91 GB and the fastest I got it to write at was 9.77 MB/s. I had bought a cheap class 2 off of ebay for $20 and it screwed up the same day I got it. Some things you just have to pay full price for.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: Found a program for testing memory cards and here are the results. Also, my card did screw up one time, but I don't know if it was the phone or the card. Reformatted and everything was okay.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sequential Read : 19.882 MB/s

Sequential Write : 17.003 MB/s

If you're looking to buy a Patriot Signature MicroSDHC card then don't buy this. The description is wrong. It is in fact part of the LX series. Nowhere on the packaging is there any mention of Signature, which is what I paid an extra ten dollars for. There is, however, a giant LX label on it. I searched NewEgg's wares and there is a big difference in packaging. LX is supposed to be Patriot's lower-grade line and that's why I went with the Signature. If you search the model number you will find results with pictures that show it is clearly LX. So if you plan on purchasing a specific type of sd or microsd card then I suggest you search the model number before you commit to buy. - 16gb Sdhc Memory Card - Memory Cards - 16gb - Class 10'

Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite - microsoft, keyboard

I've been using my Microsoft keyboard for about 4 years now. I'm a fairly wide guy, and when I put my hands together, the arms are pointed in from the shoulders. If I'm using a regular keyboard my wrists have to bend outward from my arms to make my hands line up with the keys. Using the Microsoft keyboard, my wrists are more straight so long use doesn't tire them out. It also is supposed to reduce carpal tunnel syndrome where the tendons would have to bend through a bent wrist to work the fingers. The keyboard has all the regular keys laid out fairly well. It only takes a few minutes getting used to the split board. The cursor moving arrows and special function keys are in groups between the letters and number pad, which works well. One thing that seems strange is that the upper row, the numbers, are split between 6 and 7, instead of between 5 and 6. That's because there are the dashes and such on the right of that row. Seems strange though sometimes. You get used to it pretty quick. The wrist pad extension seems good too. Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite

I bought the very first issue of the Microsoft Natural keyboard when it came out. It lasted at least five years, after a terrible adjustment period of nearly three weeks. The next one lasted about 16 months. It went downhill for two or three keyboards after that. I've had several models, including the Elite and the Pro and the one with 99 buttons all over the place. The letters now wear off in six months unless you apply clear nail polish to the key tops right away and keep it up. You can't wash it in the shower any more, it no longer has good isolation inside. Use Dow Bathroom Bubbles on a microfiber cloth - rinse VERY carefully, holding the board upside down. Let it dry naturally, don't blow water all over with compressed air, the keyboard just isn't as sturdy as it used to be.

Your wrists/arms/hands can get so used to the comfort that it's impossible to buy a laptop because your wrists ACHE within minutes of using the usual flat keyboard. That's the only downside I see. Otherwise, this is the only affordable ergonomic keyboard around. Keep your receipts handy, tape them underneath the board, in case you have to use the warranty.

I used an older Microsoft Natural keyboard for over five years, and it was excellent. By comparison, conventional keyboards are an occupational hazard. Unfortunately, I broke it while cleaning it, and I had to buy a new one. I picked up the Elite model without looking too closely ... but soon after I started using it, I was cursing under my breath ... because of the arrangement of the Home/Page Up/Page Dn/End/Delete/Insert and arrow keys. They've lost the inverted-T configuration used with the older Natural keyboard. Also, these keys are now half-sized, and therefore harder to hit. These may seem like minor quibbles to some of you -- but they preclude the possibility of hitting these keys without looking at them. This inability is detrimental to any serious touch-typist. I'm a full time IT professional, and as far as I'm concerned, this keyboard is unusable. (My suspicious mind guesses that Microsoft used this bogus configuration to push us to pay for the upscale Pro model, which has the correct key configuration.)

Having used my fingers on keyboards for more years than I want to remember, I finally found a keyboard with my hands, fingers, wrists, and arms in mind. This keyboard takes a few days to get used to because of the ergonomic split in the middle; but, it is well worth the time and effort to get used to it and you'll wonder what you ever did without it. I even got myself an extra one, just in case I should drop a cup of sticky substance in it...I don't want to be without it. You can mostly just rest your hands on the bottom edge and move only your fingers to reach just about all the keys...except for the numeric pad at the right. It even has feet to raise the upper end to a slant if you prefer. I have carpal tunnels and arthritis in both hands and find this has helped them tremendously, it is almost like exercise the doctor would order. I don't think I could ever go back to a normal keyboard again. Try it for a week and you'll be ordering a spare, too. I think it is great that they finally thought of what typists go through when they use a keyboard all day long. Depending on the length of your fingers, you don't even have to lift your hands off the resting part for the heels of your hands; you can just slide them along to the numeric pad and the keys to the left of it. You would only need to lift them to reach the 'F' row at the very top. The way it is layed out, there are even a few extra helpful keys right at your fingertips. In the center split area are little lights that remind you that you have the caps lock key on, and other handy things. I think you know I love it. I think you would, too.

If you only occasionally type, or you're a hunt-and-peck typist, then this keyboard would be an excellent choice for you. The split keyboard takes some getting used to if you've never used one before, but once you have, you'll never want to go back to a regular square model. The keys on this keyboard are perfectly shaped to cradle your fingers, and the space bar works effortlessly without having to pound your thumb. But, if you are a touch-typist and your fingers already know where the keys are supposed to be, then you'll be greatly disappointed and/or frustrated with this Natural Keyboard Elite. I agree with the other negative reviews regarding the smaller size and changed arrangement of the Insert/Home keys, and the smaller squished-together arrow keys. To paraphrase a saying, they shouldn't have fixed something that wasn't broke. I use my keyboard 8 hours a day in my occupation as a medical transcriptionist. I've been typing/keyboarding for 30+ years and my fingers know where the keys are even if I can't remember. So it is a great nuisance to have to constantly look down away from the monitor to see what key my finger is trying to reach. I keep hitting the Home key when I intend to hit the Insert key, because that's the place the Insert key is supposed to be. The newly sized and arranged directional arrows are impossible to correctly hit without first hitting every other key around them. It's been mentioned in prior reviews that the keyboard I'm looking for is the Natural Pro, so I guess I'll need to go for a "test drive" of that one. And I'll be sure to bring along a map of the key placement I know and love so I won't make this mistake again. - Microsoft - Keyboard - Split Keyboard - Natural Keyboard'

Outrageous Shipping

These SATA cables are 20" long and have well-molded, sturdily attached connectors on both ends. In other words, these are just what you expect SATA cables to be.

Two things make these cables a stand out value. The low price is the first. Go into a big box store and you'll pay a lot more. Second, Amazon Prime shipping which brought these cables to me by second day air. While other vendors offer free shipping, Amazon Prime gives you free 2nd Day air on practically everything, including small inexpensive items like these cables.

Great value on both.

Jerry SATA Data Cable (2pk.)

These cables work great. They don't have a locking tab, but that's an advantage to me - I nearly damaged my motherboard trying to remove a different cable with a poorly-made lock. These are the only cables I use now. A+

Cheap and functional, both work exactly as they should. This, when accounting the Amazon Prime eligibilty, made it the cheapest deal for me for SATA cables.

I will say, I recently recieved some different ones with an ASUS motherboard (it was open box, so I didn't think it would include them, hence me buying these, but for a good surprise it did), and they include a clipping mechanism that makes them far more secure, so that may be something you want to look at. However, I've never once had an issue with a SATA cable popping out, other than yanking cords around while installing components; all the others I've had were exactly the same as this one, so I don't think its much of a concern, just thought I'd share if you constantly tinker in your build and it irritates you. I put these to good use in a different build, and they worked fine.

Cables were inexpensive and work fine, but there is no locking tab to prevent the cable from partially or fully disconnecting from the pins of the motherboard or the data unit. One must carefully seat each end and assure that the connections are secure as you reassemble the computer case.'

Stop Snore - snore, mouth guard

After I began snoring very strong when I turned 40, my wife was "on the edge" for many years since she didn't have a good sleep for all that time.

I tried everything: very expensive nasal spay, nose strips, etc. Something worked a little, something didn't work at all.

FINALLY, my friend suggested to try this kind of anti-snoring. And it worked on the very first day!!!

My wife have normal sleep now, and I am happy!

Please understand, there are different causes for people snoring.

I found mine!

You just need to find out yours. Good luck!

I purchased this item with high hopes. I was soundly disappointed. Instructions are less than sparse and the item is very ineffective and uncomfortable.

I have a large mouth. Even with my large mouth, the mouthpiece is uncomfortably large. Makes it difficult to swallow while trying to get to sleep. Almost a choking sensation.

I tried to use it for three nights without any success. Was told I was still snoring the one night I did get to sleep with it in.

I bought this product because it was the least expensive and I thought that all of these must pretty much be the same. Apparently, this is not the case. The plastic of this mouth piece never got really soft in the hot water (just off a boil) used to mold it to your mouth, even when I left it in twice as long as instructed. This resulted in an okay but not great fit. Also, the mouth piece is a bit harder in your mouth than some of the others I have used. It is not bad for the price, but there IS a difference and it is just not as good as the more expensive ones. Maybe just a case of "you get what you pay for."

I ordered three mouth pieces at three different prices to test them and find the best one. I received one envelope with three identical items at three different prices. So why the difference? The descriptions led me to think that they were each different in how they fit and worked. Why can't I get a refund for the higher priced items? Next time I will order the cheapest one. They do work and I have reduced my snoring significantly

I reviewed another one of these mandibular advancement devices elsewhere. This was the second one I bought, and while it cost half as much as the first one, it was identical. And I see THIS one now costs half as much as when I ordered mine, a couple of days ago. So do a little comparison shopping and save yourself some money. Look at the pictures and buy the cheapest one for starters. If it has a blue case and a big popsicle stick poking out of it, it's probably the same thing.

Anyway, I've got mild obstructive sleep apnea, and instead of the much reviled CPAP machine (which I tried some years back and hated), my sleep doctor had a custom-fit mandibular advancement device made for me. The thing--a mouthpiece--looks like a retainer on steroids, with hinges that allow me to talk, yawn and move my lower jaw from side to side. But the main thing is IT WORKS. When I use it, I don't snore, I don't wake up gasping, and according to the tests, I stay oxygenated all night.

Or I did, until it broke about two weeks ago.

A piece came loose, so it's back at the lab, being repaired. But I'd gotten a good night's sleep every night for so long, I wasn't willing to go back to the snorting, snoring and gasping. So I ordered one of these.

The good news is, this one works too, although not as well as the custom-made one. (And that shouldn't be a surprise.) The main thing you need to know is that you MUST follow the fitting directions and get a good fit--snug on your teeth, especially the lower jaw--if you want positive results.

Sounds simple enough, but easier said than done. To fit it, you boil water, take it off the heat for 20 seconds, put the mouthpiece in the water for 18 seconds, then put it into your mouth and bite down. MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE THE STICK IN. If you don't, you seal up a hole in front that lets air in and out and that makes a HUGE difference in how much drooling you'll have to deal with later.

Try to suck out as much air as you can from between the mouthpiece and your teeth, and use your fingers on the outside to press it as tightly as possible against your teeth (especially the lower ones), and your tongue on the inside to do the same.

Then into the cold water.

If you did it right, the mouthpiece will be snug enough to kind of snap off and on your teeth. If it isn't snug, fit it again. I've been able to put mine back into the water as many as three times and still have it work okay.

That said, the first one I bought fits better than the second one, despite having my earlier experience to draw on. Go figure. The point is, this WILL work as described if you fit it right. If not, your mouth will pop open in the middle of the night, your jaw will recede, and you'll be snoring and gasping again.

This has been a good interim solution for me, but it's also made me appreciate how well the custom-fit one works. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting it back.

But if you have obstructive sleep apnea or just snore a lot, this is definitely worth a try. If it works for you, however, I HIGHLY recommend talking to your doctor (or dentist) about getting one of the custom-fit variety. Insurance covered mine and using it, I haven't slept as well or had this much energy in years. - Mouth Guard - Apnea - Stop Snoring - Snore'
