Hdmi Cable - hdmi cables, hdmi

I purchased 2 of these one for each of my HDTV's and they work great. Its used to connect a PS3 and an HD Uverse receiver. Cable is very solid and at a great price for the latest and greatest HDMI cable. Would highly recommend for anyone purchasing new cables or wanting to upgrade their existing cables to 1.4 standard. AmazonBasics High Speed HDMI Cable (6.5 Feet / 2.0 Meters) - Supports Ethernet, 3D, and Audio Return [NEW MODEL]

I bought a brand new 65" TV and already had a set of HDMI cables and they worked with my other TV so, I didn't think anything of it. My new TV came, I set it up and used my regular set of HDMI cables but, I wasn't getting a picture so, I was baffled. Ironically Several days earlier I had ordered a set of AmazonBasics High Definition cables just figuring that it might enhance my picture but, not realizing that I needed a High Definition HDMI cable in order for my new TV to transmit the picture.

Well, needless to say I remembered I had ordered the High Def. cables and decided to give it a try and Voila! A big beautiful picture came up on my brand new TV.

I couldn't believe the price and quality of the product and from now on I'm an "AmazonBasics" fan.

Before I purchased this HDMI cable for my Roku XDS I shopped around first at nearby Walmart and Best Buy, and read some reviews for this product. I'm a retired electrical engineer and do not believe on going overboard, spending more than adequate to get a good result on audio and video component. There are cables in the market that are priced too high to get the money out of those people who are willing to pay the price. Those people always believed that if the price is high, the product must be very good. For digital signal transmission, this HDMI cable is more than adequate. My video and audio were not degraded, and I did not notice any lost of clarity either on video or audio signal. - 1080p - Hdmi - Amazonbasics - Hdmi Cables'

Book Covers - book covers, school supplies

The cover doesn't fit my 8 x 11 books. It doesn't even come close. It looks kinda stupid, but it will do for now. I'm sure people will look funny at me. lol! I'm scared the seems are going to rip! I bought it because I liked the graphics on them, too. This ad obviously doesn't tell you what book sizes they fit. Probably 7 x 10! It's Academic 97100 Stretchable Book Cover

This is a great idea. Back in my day we had to make our own book covers from paper bags. Not anymore, you have a one size fit all solution that is quick and easy that the kids can do themselves. Plus they hold up well so they will last more than one school year.

This review is for style #97100. While the type of material is as nice as any other stretchy book cover and the colors or designs to choose from are nice, my major complaint is with the actual design of the cover. These DO NOT protect the spine corners of the book at all. It will slip on easily enough and fit around the edges but once on it shrinks back together in the middle of the book leaving half of your corners exposed and not at all protecting the book. If you pull into place, once you open the book for use it pops back off the spine. Really frustrating.

It does look ill fitting.

I did actually measure my book to make sure I hadn't put it on too large of a book. My books are indeed 8.5 by 11 inches. Basically they scrimped on the fabric and design so that you get what you pay for and a cover that does not really "cover". I hated these covers and will return them as soon as I can, but what a hassle to do so. Avoid these. Spend a little more money and get nicer ones. - Book Covers - Cover - School Supplies - Kids'

16 Gb Flash Drive - 16 gb, 16gb

Visit Store Now !!

I'll start off by agreeing with the other reviewers here and say that this flash drive really is even smaller than I expected. The smallest I've ever seen actually. The casing is metal which makes this little guy very durable however it wont protect it from water damage. This drive can easily be attached to a keychain to keep it from getting lost which is nice. Write speeds are about average I'd say but that wasn't really a concern for me when purchasing this unit. I've copied a few movies from my PC and plugged this flash drive into my Samsung TV and they played back flawlessly. Overall I'm very pleased with this and will probably buy one or two more down the road.

Update 12-6-10: I've been using this drive every single day for about 7 months now and haven't had any problems to date. I've been using it mostly to play downloaded movies on my HDTV and it's been going through some extremely heavy use and still going strong. HP v115w 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive P-FD16GHP115-EF

HP logo is on it though, it's manufactured by PNY.

I gave 4GB version to my sister for her birthday present, and she loved it.

I ordered this 16GB version last week and I got it today.

Actual memory size is 15.0GB.

It was super tiny, cute, and tough enough carry every day on my key chain.

The only thing is the speed.

My PNY 8GB full-size version shows 12mb/s to write, but this one showed only 2~3mb/s.

Maybe it was mistakenly calculated, or something.

Cons - too slow

Pros - everything except the speed

Great drive, tough and very small. It's smaller than you think it will be. I am pleased, speed is pretty quick under Win 7 64... unlike many "keychain" drives that were really too big for your keys or not tough enough, this one is holding up and is not really noticeable on the key chain. I like it, no complaints.

I used this flash drive for a week and I am sad to say that it no longer works. I did not do anything that would break it, however I went to use it the other day and it was not recognized on any computer I plugged it in to (2 Windows and 2 Macs). I am having to send it back and buy a different one. I would caution anyone to be careful when buying this particular flash drive.

UPDATE: So I have had this thing for less than 36 hours and it is dead. Neither my laptop nor my PC can write to this thing or read from it. When I click on the Properties tab it shows that this usb device has a capacity of 0 bytes yet is full. Not sure what this means but I am returning it to the store today for a full refund. I should note, all I did was copy about 3.6gb of music on this and used it in my car stereo three times and now it is dead. I also safely removed the device after writing the mp3s to it and it worked just fine in my car but today it's just dead. HP really does make junk (well PNY but HP let them put their name on it).

My original review when it worked:

The main problem with the v115w is that there is no good way to attach it to your key chain, and this limits its portability, the only thing it had going for it. The little metal rings that come with it are flimsy and probably wouldn't last a week before the usb stick falls right off your key chain. I just removed the very flimsy metal ring and used the slightly sturdier ring and the metal clasp but I am still not confident this thing is securely attached to my keys. I spent about an hour trying to rig something better but the hole on the usb drive is so small that only very flimsy metal rings will fit in it. Poor design choice on HP or PNY's part (this is a PNY product with HPs name on it). If PNY would have made a larger hole so that we could use sturdier metal rings that would have solved this entire issue. But in the end, we are left with "portable" flash drives that will probably cause us more worry than it's worth.

I cannot comment on the write speed of this unit as my old laptop has usb 1.0 so of course it took about 2 hours to transfer only 3.6 gb of mp3s and wma files. This usb stick does work in the head unit in my car, but with nearly 4 gigs of music on this thing it takes my stereo about two minutes to begin playing, good for road trips, not so great for a quick drive to the store.

Also, confirmed that this drive will fail the Xbox 360's data loss test, which is not a great sign of things to come, but from what I can tell pretty much every usb stick fails this test, except for the severely over priced sandisk stick with the Xbox logo on it.

My only other comment (gripe) is that the contacts on the v115w are not durable. I plugged it into my Xbox and removed it about one minute later and the gold plated contacts were already scratched up. Not alot of scratches but two very deep ones. Then, I plugged it into my laptop and copied 3.6gbs of music to it, removed it, now all of the contacts were completely scratched. I have other usb devices at home and work that I have been using for years and the contacts on these are nearly perfect or with only a few light scratches. This is rather annoying since the main reason I wanted a swivel usb drive is so that the contacts would be protected when dangling from my key chain, but just plugging and unplugging this device is enough to scratch up the contacts. If I wanted scratched contacts I would have gotten a IamAkey, at least those can be securely attached to your keys!

Anyways, it is super cute and tiny and my old laptop was able to see the device instantly but unfortunately, the two main selling points for me 1) portable and 2)durable are not really something this device has to offer.

I was very excited when the v115w arrived, much smaller than I expected, very sturdy exterior, but w/o any really good way to put it on a keychain (the loop hole on the end is VERY small)

Of course, 35 days after receiving it (just outside the return/replace window), it just dies. I could glue a usb interface onto a rock and it would do the same thing as my little $40 waste of money.

I ordered and love Patriot X-Porter Mini 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive PSF8GMUSB

Having spent tens of thousands of dollars on HP items over the past decade, I was really disappointed with this product. Seems like outsourcing & rebranding are the wave of the future....Caveat emptor - 16gb - 16 Gb - Flash Drive - Usb Flash Drive'

I was confused on getting replacements for the swiffer max that my wife and I use .... found out that it is now the swiffer xl. We swear by this product. It is great for quick dustups between vacuumings and is probably the best on the market for hardwood floors ... it was even recommended to us by a hardwood installer. Swiffer Sweeper X-Large Disposable Sweeping Cloths, 16-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)

Swiffer products are a convenient, sanitary way to help keep my house allergy free. The Swiffer Max cloths that were sent to me were the "xtra large" ones which covered the Swiffer Max sweeper more fully and were easier to put on than the original Swiffer Max clothsSwiffer Max Dry Disposable Sweeping Cloths, 16-Count Box (Pack of 3). Buying them on Amazon is much easier than trying to find them in the stores and the value is right.

I bought the larger swiffer for dusting in the store and now I can't find the X-Large sweeping cloths anywhere but online. I was happy to find them here. Received them quickly and the bulk rate prevents me from having to buy too often. Exactly what I needed.

When my house was rebuilt with hardwood laminate floors, the contractor left one of these swiffers behind. We couldn't find any replacement cloths locally and really liked them. I was able to find them through Amazon and the price was reasonable. They work great and last a long time. If you're looking for these and you have the swiffer, I don't need to convince you as you already know. I will and have already purchased more of these and will again when I run out. - Swiffer Dry Mop - Sweeper - Good - Cleaning'

Disney Princess

Visit Store Now !!

We got this for our 2 and 1/2 year old for our trip to Disney World. Any time we had a long wait (the parade especially) we whipped it out for her to amuse herself. Not only did she love it, but every little girl who could see it quickly gathered to stare longingly at it. Now that we are home, she plays with it every day. My only problem with is that since there are so many SMALL accessories (shoes, necklaces etc...) they are very easy to lose. So you have to keep an eye for glass slippers when you vacuum. Otherwise, I would say this is our best "Princess" purchase yet. Disney Princess: Dress-Up: A Sticker Activity Book (Princesses)

When i got this it was just amazing because you didn`t have to punch out anything you just take the sticker and stick and it`s reusable so you can you use it again and again this is the best dress up books i ever gotten!

This book gives my four-year old hours, hours, hours of quiet entertainment. She never gets bored with it. There are lots of different dresses and accessories to swap out among the princesses. Best $10 I ever spent on a toy for her.

I got this for my 3 1/2 year old for christmas, and it has been used quite a bit by her, her 6 year old brother and her 28 year old aunt!!! It has so many different outfits, probably 3 for each princess, and each princess has the same pose, so all dresses fit on all princesses. There are many crowns, hats, necklaces, shoes and other accesories for each outfit too. They are the cling plastic type, so they are reusable over an over. I just make sure to look around after they have been playing with it so I don't vacuum any shoes up. It is a great idea, and hope to see more products like it. I would buy it again.

Overall this book is a lot of fun. My 3 year old daughter and 4 year old son have played with it so much they have nearly worn it out! It has a lot of stickers - a lot of little earing-type and shoe-type stickers that are great for detail play but also get lost easily. Again, it's a lot of fun, just don't expect to keep it intact if younger children are playing with it.

My daughter really likes this and so do I because she can play by herself. The only thing I don't like is that the vinyl stickers don't seem to 'stick' very well and it frustrates my 3 year old. Otherwise, a great buy!

My 5 yr old daughter loves the book and changing dresses, but the pieces are tiny and easily lost or vaccumed up. They stick for the first couple times, but then they lose their stickyness to the book.

My 4-year old loves this book but the pieces do not stick well and tend to fall off or stick to the opposite side of the page when she closes the book. Great for keeping her busy for awhile but she gets frustrated when the stickers do not stay right where she wants them.'

Great "starter" kit with a fairly well designed case. If you don't have a seperate dremel accessories "toolbox" this is a great alternative option, although of course not quite as durable.
