Away on a conference, it turned out that I had forgotten my stylus (a Pogo, which I'd selected after trying a number of styluses), so grudgingly I bought a new specimen - this Griffin stylus. I could not believe what an improvement it was. Although I was certainly not unhappy with the pogo stick, it sometimes had the habit of not picking up my input, and the writing (I mainly use the stylus to make notes on my iPad with Penultimate) was not always what it ought to be. This is so much better. It is slightly heavier (we'te talking grams, though) but that makes it a better rather than a worse writing implement. More importantly, it allows you to draw much thinner lines than the pogo did. The best of the bunch, AFAIC. Griffin Technology Stylus for iPad, iPod touch, iPhone and other touchscreens

I had previously purchased a $5-6 stylus on Amazon and was supremely disappointed with the quality, and it just wouldn't work properly on my iPad. This Griffin stylus on the other hand is of great quality and works MUCH better on my iPad. Nice rounded tip with rolls easily on the screen, and I have never had any incorrect spelling entries so far on my screen. Nice stylish product that works better than expected. Recommended for sure!

This is the best very drawing stylus made for the iPad. The size, pressure, conductivity and heft are just right. If only the little hoe at the top had been larger I might have been able to put it on a chain and not lose it! Guess I'll order a another and a backup.

The Griffin Technology Stylus for iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone is an excellent stylus. After about one week of research (reading reviews, etc.) I finally ordered this stylus and I have not been disappointed. I frequently use this stylus in lectures in higher education mathematics courses with an iPad. More recently, I began using my iPad with this stylus to start taking notes in meetings rather than keeping track of paper notes.



Pros:

1. Lightweight but solid feel to the body of the stylus. So far, I've had no hand fatigue due to heaviness nor have I felt that I could break it!

2. Easily recognized handwriting when using apps for annotation (such as Note Taker HD or Air Sketch). Hint: if the app has a "zoom" feature, I use this to zoom in on the file or note that I want to write upon. For Note Taker HD, I have found that "Edit 1" is excellent.

3. The clip, which I at first thought was dorky, allows me to put the stylus in either my breast or pants pocket so I can find it easily.

4. Flexible (rounded) tip seems durable. This is in direct contradiction to what most people say about the Ten One Design Pogo Sketch stylus for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch (Cactus Green). I read several reviews about the degradation of the tip on the Pogo Sketch. I've had this stylus for well over one month now with no signs of wear.

5. After having received this stylus, it looks almost identical to the BoxWave Capacitive iPad Stylus (Jet Black) which gets excellent reviews. The Griffin doesn't come with the tether, but I cannot imagine using it. After some more looking around, it also looks like the Targus Stylus for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Tablet AMM01US (Black) and the Acase Capacitive Stylus for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy, BlackBerry Playbook (Jet Black). I originally paid less for this stylus than its current list price, so it seems that its quality has been recognized.



Cons:

1. The rubber tip will pick up skin oils/sweat (i.e., from an accidental forehead grazing while touching head). I think that this is more of a problem with the fact that the tip is rubber-esque and not so much a lack of foresight on the manufacturer. Just a necessary evil of writing on a tablet with a stylus.

2. I wish it were a little longer. This a personal preference and by no means hinders the use of the stylus.



As you can see, my "Pros" list is far longer than my "Cons". This is an excellent product and a worthwhile purchase.

Having a new iPad, I added the penultimate app allowing me to sketch, take notes, etc., so wanted a quality stylus to use as a pseudo "pen". Looked through all of the reviews, and decided to order both the griffin (the good one in the orange box with the see-through window showing the stylus) and the Boxwave, which received the best reviews. Also bought both on Amazon to get the free shipping over $25. Received them today (the red boxwave and black griffin) and both have a good hand-feel. In fact, they are absolutely identical. The boxwave has a little string plug-in plastic cap that fits into the iPad earphone hole, while the griffin seems to have a place for the same string plug-in, but it is not included. Other than that, I can only suggest that these two stylus are absolutely identical. Both very nice, good feel, quality units. Had read a review saying to buy a decent quality stylus for the penultimate app. Went to an Apple store, and their available (only one style) stylus was similar at $15. Think I paid $15 for the boxwave and $13 for the griffin. Amazon is the best deal for these. eBay prices were in some cases double for these same pen stylus'.

Based entirely on Griffin's reputation, I ordered this stylus direct from their site, even before Amazon listed it, just after it became available. I knew nothing about it other than the Griffin name, but I've been completely happy with it since.



I hadn't tried many other styli, but the ones I had tried have left me exasperated and frustrated so quickly, I discarded them within the first on or two days of trying to use them. But Griffin's stylus is different. It works. It works so well, I forget all the difficulty I used to have in trying to use a stylus instead of my finger. Unlike some defective products, the Griffin does not require so much pressure it defeats the purpose. Some styli work better [I won't say "well"] for iPad but not so much for iPhone, and some are the opposite. The Griffin stylus works equally well on both my iPhone 4 and my iPad 3G.



If there was anything that needed to be changed about this stylus, it is only the thickness of the barrel. Some may also find the length a bit lacking. I suspect that both are necessary in order to promote conductivity from the hand through the stylus to the device screen, and attempts at making them larger have likely been unsuccessful. I believe, though, that before long, that barrier will be broken and this 99/100 rating will be revised.

I had to do some emergency portrait work and needed a flash mounted soft box quickly. I found this on Amazon and was intrigued by its price and size, as well as all the colored gels included but was nervous since there were no other customer reviews. I was in a jam and bought it anyway and had it shipped over night.



It arrived the next day around 3pm, just in time for my photo shoot. It comes with four strips of velcro tape that you need to permanently affix to your flash, and then the soft box itself has velcro tabs that attach to the affixed velcro tape. It took about five minutes to install and once on it was quite sturdy, I'm sure wind and branches won't knock it off. Also, thanks to the velcro, it's really easy to put on and off the flash.



Functionally, the box does exactly what it's supposed to do. It doesn't block the IR sensor on my flash (Canon 430EX), which is something I was concerned about, and provides a nice diffuse light over a very large area. I didn't do any light metering but it doesn't seem to dim the flash very much either, just spreads it out.



The Gels are about what you'd expect. Put the blue one in, get a blue cast. Put the red one in, get a red cast. I found the Yellow, Amber & Pink Gels actually helped quite a bit with the overall tone of my photos. And if you install the box correctly on your flash you can swap or remove gels by simply unvelcroing the top flap of the box instead of having to remove the whole thing.

This diffuser may work well as it is intended, but I was unimpressed with overall quality. It was made out of very cheap plastic, almost like the plastic that pool toys are made out of. This might be good for portability if that's what you're looking for. I also didn't like the fact that you are expected to put adhesive velcro strips on your very expensive flash unit in order to use this diffuser. It said on the box that there was another option, maybe an elastic strip or something, but the seller that I purchased it from must not have included it. Ultimately I returned it. Definitely go for the set of Opteka Tri-Color Hard Flash Diffuser for the Nikon SB-600 Flash (Includes Neutral, Green (Cooling), & Gold (Warming))tri-color hard flash diffusers if you have the room in your camera bag, or Nikon SJ-1 Color Filter Set, Eight Filter Light Balancing Set for the SB-800, SB-600 & SB-80DX Flashes



Pros: Portable, folds up nicely, It does come with a set of many different colors that are easy to change out in the box, and they seemed like pretty good shades.



Cons: Cheap plastic, very flimsy, requires adhesive velcro in order to be attached to your flash unit. In my opinion, you ruin your flash unit by attaching this diffuser.

This is a very cheap and flimsy product but it definitely gets the job done without breaking the wallet! Even better, it has gels that are normally the same price separate (the originally reason I got it) which can be used with other lighting gear (I've used them with medium softboxes and umbrellas). I have two of these now (one for each SB600 I have) and find that they do everything I need them to do.

This inexpensive softbox diffuser is fun to use because of the different colored gels included with it. It works fine on my Vivitar 383 flash unit set in slave mode for filling in portraits. The velcro works effectively on the flash unit to hold the diffuser in place, and I'm very happy with it, especially for what I paid for it.

I got this for my flash and it works great! I wasn't too sure about having to put the velco on my flash but it was cut perfectly to the size of my flash. It doesn't look tacky at all. It folds flat so I can store it in my bag really easily. The gels fit in easily, all you have to do is unhook the top and pop them in and out. I was a little worried when I looked at the gels as some of them were not completely smooth. I tried each of them out and it didn't affect the flash at all. Having done yoga both with videos and in a class, I found this video to be a step above most other yoga videos. It is arranged in three sections, each having multiple workouts. The first section is designed for beginners, with one section teaching a basic set of poses, and two sections with flow-style practices of varying length. That is, the poses flow from one to the next for continuous, slow movement. The pacing is great - slow enough to allow good form in each pose, but fast enough to allow you to move along with the breath, as you breath in and out. However, it is clearly not "remedial," and includes poses requiring some flexibility, balance, and strength (e.g., downward-facing dog with one leg raised, as well as some balancing poses). If someone lacks flexibility or strength, I'd definitely recommend starting instead with "Essential Yoga for Inflexible People," which a friend tells me is perfect for beginners. The second section (the one I use the most) is a little more challenging and also has several different flow-style practices that vary in focus (arms, legs, total body) and length. It's surprising how much your heart gets beating and you really feel your muscles working. They are the ideal every-day workout. The third section is an interesting twist - yoga along with light weights or a resistance band to get even more strength training work. Again, there are several different practices that vary in focus and length. Very clever and fun. The instructions on how to work in each pose are extremely well done. Usually, the biggest downside to learning yoga from a video rather than a well-conducted class is that you can't get individualized instruction, and so you can learn the poses incorrectly and not get the full benefit of the practice. However, the instruction is so well-done that I found this video to instead help me refine and improve my use of the various poses. Finally, the filming is simply beautiful, with a gorgeous ocean landscape. This is quickly becoming my favorite yoga video! Yoga For Weight Loss for Beginners

I have not done a lot of yoga before, but now I'm hooked.



This DVD is fantastic. It has two levels of workouts (and each level has a few workouts) - one level is for beginners and one has some more challenging poses once you are comfortable with the first level.



There is also a third section (again with a few workouts) that incorporates weights and/or a resistance band into the workout.



Not only have I lost some weight and am closer to touching my toes easily, but I have really toned up from this DVD. I would have called this DVD, "Yoga for Getting in Shape" Highly recommended.

What I love most about this video is that it's a bunch of videos in one. Depending on the time you have in a given day, you can always fit in one of the workouts - so no more excuses! The instruction is crystal clear and the setting is beautiful. I was skeptical about doing yoga with weights at first, but it works. And this video really teaches you, so you can eventually do the workouts on your own.

This is one of two titles I have recently purchased from Maggie (the other is Essential Yoga For Inflexible People ) to help me increase my flexibility and get into shape.



I love both DVDs and they are perfect for me who is new to Yoga.



This DVD has a basic section to teach you the movements you will need then gives you extended workouts and workouts using resistance bands and weights.



Beautiful location and I find myself using this alot now. I am starting to feel comfortable with it. Definately a worthwhile purchase. I use Essential Yoga For Inflexible People also and that has helped develop some aspects of what I am doing and is a worthwhile compliment to this DVD if you need more grounding.



All in all a great DVD.

I love this DVD and glad I bought it.



I really enjoy the extra sections using the band for toning, can feel it work and the other levels helped bring along in learning yoga.



Between the instructor (she is great) the scenary (beautiful) and the actual instruction I would highly recommend this DVD

The most important aspect of this yoga DVD is that the instructor, Maggie Rhoades, is a teacher in the Iyengar tradition of yoga at one of the best yoga centers in the country, Unity Woods in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Beginning with an excellent introduction and a highly informative overview of yoga's purpose, goals, and methods -explaining how yoga can complement everything we do in life - Miss Rhoades takes the viewer on a challenging and highly instructive tour, offering routines for beginners, explaining and of course demonstrating in a step-by-step manner, many basic poses. She not only explains how to do each pose but she tells us the benefits of each. This is not a video to follow from start to finish (because it contains so much), but is probably more suited to a viewer finding routines that suit his or her level, interest, and ability. It does presuppose a certain familiarity with yoga poses and techniques, although a complete novice could start just with her basics and then build from there. There is really so much on this very long tape - it even includes the use of props - that it is well worth the reasonable price. I especially appreciated Ms. Rhoades' "Interview" advice in which she suggests that viewers make yoga part of their lives and to "have fun" doing it. The island setting and Ms. Rhoades positive demeanor only enhances the viewer's enjoyment.

This is a wonderful DVD that offers a wide-range of workouts for both the beginner and more in shape person. There are traditional yoga poses done in very challenging ways and some more interesting things that spice up the workouts. Overall I find this a very rewarding DVD that has helped me shed a few pounds while leaving me very relaxed afterwards. Highly recommended. - Yoga - Beginners Yoga - Yoga For Beginners - Yoga Dvd'

Political Thriller - thriller, mystery

Finally a great adult suspense film about several timely subjects . It 's about the dying newspapers and political corruption.

Russell Crowe is excellent as an overweight ,slightly shabby journalist ,who is flawed personally,but an excellent journalist.

Helen Mirren is good as his stressed boss.Ben Afflek is surprisingly good as his old friend and US congressman. Rachel

McAdams is fine as the new face of the news,a blogger for the newspaper. There is suspense, that grabs you and holds you til the end. I saw it with friends and discussed it through and after dinner. Always a sign of a good movie. How in the world does Crowe manage to be so appealing in messy clothes and overweight? I highly recommend this movie. State of Play

No Way, 'State of Play, the BBC miniseries was the best series I have seen since 'Wired'. No Way, was the American version going to be as good. I was right, it is not as good, but Almost!



Russell Crowe as Cal McCaffrey, the old time journalist who works for truth and justice, brings that justice to this film, like no one else could. He makes this film what it is. Rachel McAdams, as the Capitol Hill blogger, is fine in her role, but it could have been anyone. Helen Mirren, as the editor of this fine paper, is ruthless and mean and fine, as is her wont. But, it was Russell Crowe who made this film fascinating. The dirty long hair flowing as he walked and ran down corridors. The paunch from eating all those fast food meals and drinking the Irish wine, Scotch. Yep, this was the real deal, the newsmen of yesteryear.



The aide to Congressman, Stephen Collins, played by Ben Affleck, dies suddenly, an accident or suicide or was it murder? Cal and his newspaper blogger, Dela, start snooping and find that one and one don't make two, it adds up to five. Four murders and an investigation into a security group that hopes to control the world. As time moves on and clues begin to come together and stories unravel, we have a fast paced mystery, here. It is full of suspense and intrigue and just when we think we know who done it, the circle moves. That Russell Crowe, he could be one of the best actors around, you know that?

Based on the BBC mini-series, director Kevin McDonald's "STATE OF PLAY" blends the two most reliable, favorite ingredients of an effective thriller; a political-conspiracy thriller mixed in with a journalism drama with a touch of a murder mystery mixed in. The film's direction can be taut, clean and energetic that plays on the moralities of politics and the responsibility of credible reporting. Kevin McDonald maneuvers the film's script in a meaty web of intrigue and suspense that is nicely acted and honest in its execution.



Cal McAffrey (Russell Crowe) is a seasoned reporter working at a struggling newspaper called "The Washington Globe". When the research assistant (played by Maria Thayer) and lover to a congressman named Stephen Collins (Ben Affleck) is killed, her mysterious death provokes a lot of speculation for a high-profile story. Cal has a history with Collins and his wife Anne (Robin Wright Penn), so he is the natural pick to tackle this story. But Cal becomes conflicted with what story he wants to tell the longer he digs for the truth; which leads him to team up with a young inexperienced reporter named Della Frye (Rachel McAdams) to sort out the mystery full of political intrigue to avoid further bloodshed and uncover the real story behind all the rumors and deceptions. Cal now finds himself face to face with his own `crisis of conscience' as his own proven investigative skills may not coincide with the needs for profit and that the real story may alienate his own friends.



"State of Play" is a thriller that tries to keep its toes by mixing in elements of a political thriller that touches on some real world events after the tragedy of 9/11 and the responsibilities of credible fact-finding. The script by Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton), Matthew Carnahan (The Kingdom) and Billy Ray has its share of good dialogue delivered by characters that has some layers and dimensions that proved interesting. Cal represents the old-school style of reporting; he checks his facts, looks for credible sources and ignores the unnecessary hidden stories. His dislike on young inexperienced blogger Della comes absolutely natural. Cal sees her as the spoiled reporter who may write appealing articles who happen to have a better computer and a better office. The two are representations of the signs of the times and the internet phenomenon. It was also nice to see the script avoid the trappings of a perfunctory romance between the two reporters but instead director McDonald uses a sort of a mentor-student type of relationship between the two after they realize that they are both after the same thing.



The film's political side comes from the character of Stephen Collins who may have the best interests of the country at heart, although he made some mistakes on some decisions such as bedding his own research assistant. The screenplay is a little cautious, but it does point an accusing finger at certain corporations who make huge profit from a war. Apparently the privatization of soldiers in the war against terror is one profitable industry, and these soldiers are just mercenaries answerable to no one. The moral responsibilities of fighting a war are touched upon as well as maintaining the image of a clean public figure. Smear campaigns, damaging rumors and speculations are used to manipulate Congress to satisfy the needs of big corporate America.



Director McDonald does get the atmosphere and the fast-paced feel of a newspaper right. I liked the old-school `press room' with the editor looking above the reporters. McDonald is to be commended that he remembered to bring such late night hurdles into exposition; although frankly, the stereotypical character of Cal's editor in the person of Helen Mirren should've been abandoned. Mirren does a good performance as Cal's impatient and overly cautious editor, but her character has been overused in other films in this genre. The shady, corrupt politician in the person of Jeff Daniels has also been done to death. I also have issues with the age factor between Cal and Collins; Affleck and Crowe just don't fit as former college buddies. Affleck is decent as the congressman but Crowe just looked so much older than him, I couldn't really buy into the idea that they're the same age. The relationship between Cal and Anne isn't really brought into fruition; quite frankly, it felt a little forced to add some spice to the screenplay.



The manner of which the plot unravels is full of various storylines that come to a satisfying ending but some elements feel unnecessary. The script should have been more compact and some scenes dragged a little bit. It doesn't really hurt the film but Jason Bateman's scenes should have been more efficiently played out. It also seemed to try too hard on satisfying its audience in both the cerebral conspiracy thriller fan base and the action junkies; it does work on some levels but I thought the script may have had the fear of becoming too talkie that it needed to bring some gunplay into the mix. Some of the scenes just didn't match the film's tone at times.



"State of Play" does have some nice touches such as an old-fashioned workhorse in the face of "blogger-space", it explores the morals of profit gain and the responsibilities of public officials; the problem is, sometimes, it just felt that the film didn't have confidence enough to stay within the realms of a journalistic drama. It tries to be too complex just for the sake of becoming complex, that it felt like it threw too many ideas that slowed the film's pace. It does feel predictable in the middle of the film, but I did appreciate the effort in delivering a credible thriller. It does deliver the goods and the effective revelations do hit the right spots.



Recommended! [3 ½ Stars]



Video/Audio: 2.35 ratio anamorphic widescreen. The picture looks pristine even when the colors looked a little restrained. The quality of the picture matches the film's tone. The 5.1 Dolby Digital track is clear enough and well channeled. - Mystery - Thriller - Drama'

There are many variations of this model, Riviera, and many colors for this variation. But be sure to get this one with the rubber strap as opposed to bracelet and black dial as opposed to white and 3 white chrono/seconds circles as opposed to 2 and lastly, the non-rotating bezel. Why? This is a dead-ringer for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore! Well, as least from far away and to non-watch savvy admirers. The Royal Oak Offshore is a really beautiful watch but cost just way too much (into the tens of thousands). By getting this, it's almost a cheaper version of it except of course it's not AP and it's not an octagonal shaped case but one of a twelve-sided polygon. This is still a beautiful BM watch and nothing to be ashamed of with precision timing and chronograph function. I decided to buy this watch because from the moment I saw it I knew I had to own it. I started to compare prices, and as always, Amazon had the best. I've been looking at this watch for a few days lusting after it. I pulled the trigger and when it arrived I fell in love with it. Its perfect, its both classy and sporty and so masculine with a high quality comfortable fitted rubber strap with a beautiful stainless steel BM symbol well designed clasp. It fits perfectly on the wrist at 43mm but surprisingly it doesn't sit as thick as 14mm would have you believe so it fits under long sleeve shirts with ease. Ankle Weights

I wear these around the house all day long (I am a 62 year old female)...walking, up and down the stairs, doing leg lifts side to side and back kicks, front kicks. My legs are more toned and finally strong (I had really weak legs). When I go out without the weights on my ankles, I can walk forever! Well worth the price. One hint: if the weight beads become hard and hurt your ankles, just take a small hammer and "pound" the beads lightly to loosen them. Sometimes the beads meld together and harden, but easily soften after "mushing" them. I have had these for months and they still are like new. No wear and tear at all! I bought these because they were Reebok. But unfortunately having a big brand name is not a guarantee of quality. The fabric began to rub through after less than one week of use. In addition, the iron filings used for weight seemed to have been magnetized, and would congeal into hard painful mass.

I really dislike how the velcro is on these weights. The way the velcro is makes them perpetually slide off your ankle on one part of the weight. I don't understand why they wouldn't have made the velcro extend just a little further. Maybe they aren't designed for people with smaller legs. They are very big and VERY bulky. I bought them to wear under the legs of my pants while at work so I could get toned up while walking back and forth in my busy job. But I can't wear them discreetly under my pants at all, and even if you remove one/some of the weights (a nice enough feature) they are STILL too big to fit under your pants. I'm talking Hulk huge. But they are good quality. I'd also have liked if the weights had some sort of buffer so they weren't rubbing on your ankle bone but I suppose that would make them even bulkier. It's got to be a trade-off for a larger amount of weight, I suppose. The biggest issue IMO is the stupid velcro straps! They won't secure to part of the weight.

Well they're approximately 5 pounds each and they attach to your ankles with the straps, that's what is advertised. At first when I felt the material on the weights inside I didn't know if it would hold up for extended usage so I wrapped the weight pouches with a few layers of duct tape, no more worries there

I got these today hoping to take my work-out to the next level and I couldn't even wear them for more than 20 Minutes. They HURT so much! The sand bags feel like wearing a bear trap around my legs. Very, very uncomfortable. I will be returning them.

This is gotta be one of the nicer comfortable ankle weights out there. I've used the blue plastiky ankle weights at the rec and must say these are more comfy around your ankles.



The sand bags was a bit difficult to takeout/putin so -1 star. Not sure how often one needs to do this. Otherwise, the straps and cloth material are very nice.

I live on the fourth floor of my dormitory, and we don't have an elevator. It's hard to maintain a regular exercise schedule at university, and the ankle weights are great for getting a little bit of a workout by just putting them on and going through my daily routine!



I really like that the weights themselves are sandbags, so they form to the shape of your ankle after a few steps, and that they're easy to put on and take off. The only thing I would warn other potential buyers about is that they do take some getting used to, and if you don't wear them with socks, they tend to chafe. Also, be careful when wearing them -- if you use these weights correctly, they'll be great, but if you don't pay attention to how they change the way you move and work to correct it, you can do some serious damage to your knees. The added momentum when stepping forward can hyper-extend the knee and lead to repetitive-motion injuries.



As long as you're careful, though, and use these correctly, they're great. Two thumbs up.

I bought these years ago...used to use them quite a bit, just now fished them out of the closet again. Mine came from a Big 5 store.



They're pretty versatile...yeah, you can use them on your ankles but I've used them rolled up as hand weights, and, if you put them together, you can put them around your waist which doesn't tone anything in particular, but still makes you work harder if you're doing squats and lunges.



Really useful and I haven't seen a great many better solutions.



The biggest issues I have with wearing them often are that they get uncomfortable..it would be nice if there was some gel padding but there's not...just a fabric with sandbags which form hard spots. They especially hurt over the ankle bones. The fabric is rough too (some synthetic like what they make gym bags out of) and if you don't wear socks it can chaff.



Finally, I don't think I have super small ankles (female in my 20s), but I generally use them with all the sandbags. It's a good thing too or they'd fall off. Even at the "tightest" setting, they still tend to slip down. Only my sneakers really hold them up. If I'm barefoot (around the apartment) they'll scrape the ground like socks that won't stay up.

These are well made and do the job. However there are two things I don't like about them. They are adjustable, but not enough. When the product description says "adjustable from 1-5 lbs" I assumed that meant I would have the option for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 pounds. Unfortunately there are only 4 weights of 1.25 lbs each. For a small amount of weight overall, jumping up by 1.25 lbs is a lot. Now that I have these and have tried them, not only would 1 lb increments be better, but I think I'd prefer 1/2 lb increments.



My other issue with them is that the weights are bags of sand, and if you frequently need to adjust the weight (I do in every workout), it's a bit too difficult to stuff bags of sand in and out because they take a bit of manhandling to coax in. It's not that bad, but too much fuss in the middle of a workout when you're trying not to have much of a break. I think a metal weight would slide in and out much easier. So.... now that I've tried these I'd really prefer metal weights in 1/2 lb increments. I'd return these but I'm worried the return shipping will be so high because it's 10 lbs total that it won't be worth it.'

These are very disappointing. They are difficult to strap on and have to be frequently adjusted. I recently had knee surgery and my feet are swollen. These are made for very small ankles. I would not buy this brand again. ZON 1-Pound Ankle and Wrist Weights

These get the job done, however they are not very comfortable. These are my first pair of ankle/wrist weights, so I don't know if that is the case with all of them, or if this is due to the fact that they are ankle and wrist combined, but they don't seem to mold nicely to neither my wrists nor my ankles. - Wrist Weights - Exercise - Fitness - Ankle Weights'
