Works just as advertised. Clear Woodstock 4" hose fits over it easily yet snugly, easily tightened with wire hose clamps. Adequately durable, as once it is in place it is not going to take a beating if connected to flexible hose. All of these that I have ordered have had some flashing where Y is fitted to straight section. Easily removed by drilling along seam in several places with 1/8 drill bit, snapping off excess with pliers, cleaning up with coarse half round file. Takes 1-2 minutes per Y fitting.
