Handheld Games - handheld, video poker

This is the only hand held double double bonus poker machine we have been able to find. I find the larger size bulky and prefer the smaller color version, however my husband, who plays this game every day likes the larger keys and says it is easier to play than the color version. We both wish they made a color version in this size. Black and white display makes it harder to see flushes. Mega Screen 7 in 1 Poker

My wife loves video poker and the games seem to work well.

Nice screen size and easy to use (except as noted below).

Color would be nice to have for easier suit detection.

There are a couple annoyances.

1. After each hand, it automatically resets the bet to 10.

It does not lock in your betting level like real machines do.

So, you either just always play it with a bet of 10 or

you hold down the DEAL button to increment bet by 10's

up to a max of 50 for each hand.

2. It has a MAX BET button that bets 50 BUT,

it does not cause an automatic deal like real machines do.

So, you have to press MAX BET and then DEAL.

This is a fun toy if you enjoy playing video poker. The construction isn't great and it's hard to see the spade and club symbols on the LCD screen. At first, I thought is was defective. The games are good however and it has an auto-off which is nice.

I gave this as a gift to my elderly father who loves poker but can not play anymore (nursing home). Two key factors why this works for him.... 1 - buttons are big and easy to press.. 2 - AUTO SHUT OFF. Very key so that he doesnt waste batteries and does not have to worry about turning it off. Overall -good easy to use player

This is a great electronic poker game for anyone who travels a lot. It's the perfect size to throw in a bag. I got this for a friend who has a long train ride to work each day and he loves it. The variety of games lets him switch if he gets bored. Great for poker enthusiasts!

Large easy to read screen graphics. Most games are slow when adding winnings. Not this one. Very fast. The only feature I am not pleased with the bet increase button being the deal button also. You have to press and hold the deal button to increase the bet by incremental amounts. If you just hit the button it bets 10. If you hold it down to increase to 20, 30 or 40, it goes to fast to stop at 20. This aside.....GREAT GAME!

This handheld game was the only one I could find that came with more than one basic video poker game, which is exactly what I was looking for. It's easy to use and nice size screen. It's lightweight but large enough to be able to see the buttons and screen without my glasses! The 7 different games is what makes this handheld the best choice. - Handheld - Video Poker - Video Games - Handheld Games'
