The Case Logic VNB-217 w/Optical Mouse is a very good deal for what it is. The design is exceptional, and it will easily swallow all but the largest 17" class notebooks. It accomodates my HP DV7TQE nicely. The laptop compartment is nicely padded, and the shoulder straps are wide and comfortable with a gradual taper. My only criticism is that it could be built better. It likely won't last more than a couple of years of heavy use, but for the price, it's tough to beat! The included optical mouse is mediocre at best. I bought this backpack two months ago and it has already ripped apart in three different places. The filling in the middle compartment is clearly visible as there is a six-to-eight inch tear in the threading. Overall, a horrible product despite the decent design.
