This StickUp Bulb is great ... For what it is. It gives you good light in closets & other places that have no power, and it does it a lot better than those bug-eyed touch lamps. The base/bulb is removable from the mount, so it doubles as a decent emergency light, and it costs less than $10. Sure, it sucks the batteries if you leave it on for long periods, but hey ... OK, now I have a light in my closet and it shines pretty bright, at least when the battery is fully charged. You'll be glad to use rechargeables because even with very light use the bulb empties the battery very quickly. I use eneloop rechargeable batteries which hold their charge much better than others.
